Caray, Caray!

Ale is walking alone outside when Danilo walks up. In greeting she gives him a b!tchslap and he returns it. Ale doesn't care since he failed in killing German. He laughs and says he didn't fail. If I wanted to kill him, I would have. I didn't kill him because I then wouldn't have anything to control you with. First it was his capataz, next could be his brother. Or perhaps your friend, Acacia. How many more deaths do you want on your conscience?

Mystery girl covers Ulises up and runs off to hide. Memo is supporting his friend as they look to find Ulises and mystery girl. They walk past the mystery girl and she rushes over to an unconscious Ulises urging him to stay with her.

Norberto pays a visit to German. He acknowledges that he took out his anger on German whenever things were going bad for him. Such as problems with his mother. He cries and promises never to mistreat him again. Can you forgive me he begs. Of course replies German and they hug it out. You are my father replies German. Norberto acknowledges he never supported German's paintings because....but doesn't finish his thought. I wanted you to be like me says Norberto. I ask that you forgive me for ruining your paintings.


Danilo beats Memo and friend with his cane. I told you not to let them escape he yells. The boys say that Ulises can't have to much life in him left. They shot him multiple times. He orders the boys to find the boy and if Ulises is alive....he raises his cane again and Perla stops him from beating the boys again.

Mystery girl brings Ulises some water in a makeshift cup. She tries to get a unconscious Ulises to drink. He finally wakes up and she says they need to leave before the boys find them. She found a cave they could hide out in. she can help him with his gunshot wounds. Her grandmother is a healer and taught her many things. But we have to move from here now. Ulises thinks he is going to die. She tells him that Acacia and his family are waiting for him. He asks her to help him.

Manuel tells Luisa that he has never stopped loving Acacia. How did you not notice? Luisa thinks perhaps it's best if she tells his mother exactly what went on between them.

Mystery girl helps Ulises walk towards the cave. He says he can't anymore but she urges him forward. She knows he's tired but she has to take the bullet out. He tells her he has faith in her. She pulls out a knife and he urges her to start.

Cris tells Esteban they are about done paying Paredes. He notices she's down and asks her what is the matter. Today was the hearing against Ulises replies Cris. He didn't show up and she is worried that he may try to come around here. If he did, I might be capable of killing him replies Esteban.

Acacia wonders why things can't be the way they were when they were younger. We all had such a good time. I would like to re-capture those days replies Manuel. What separated us? Ulises answers Acacia. I fell in love with him. Manuel doesn't want to talk about the past. He realized yesterday when he thought his brother had died that you have to worry about the here and now. Promise me that you will try to forget the past.

Cris tells Esteban to calm down. He admits to hating Ulises for what he did to Acacia. She understands but violence is not the answer. Esteban blames Ulises for Acacia near mishap. She almost fell off the horse. He didn't want to tell her so she wouldn't worry. But they have to make sure Ulises stops hurting Acacia. Cris decides to talk to Acacia woman to woman. And tell her about the criminal investigation that is going. Esteban doesn't think it's a good idea but Cris doesn't like to keep secrets. It always ends badly.

Mystery girl sanitizes the knife and pours water over his leg to clean off some of the blood. She starts to pull out the bullet and he screams. She tells him to think of Acacia. You have to get better so you can see her. He continues screaming as she pulls out the bullet.

Carmen tells the front desk judge that she knows her son was subpoenaed but he is not going to show up. He has disappeared. I have filed a police report against Nuria. We believe she is the one that committed the fraud. The judge asks if they are the parents of Ulises. Andres says he is the boyfriend of Carmen's. His name is Andres Bebanco (sp). Norberto who has just walked in, overhears this. He walks over to Andres and asks if he just heard right. You are Andres Bebanco? He turns to Juliana and asks her if he is Andres Bebanco.

Cris tells Acacia that she knows she's hurting but she has to stay strong and overcome it. If you keep like this, you can't go riding again. I don't want you in any danger. I also want you to know that police have started a criminal case against Ulises. Acacia knows since Manuel told her. She also knows she can't keep wasting her time over him. Esteban is glad to hear it. Acacia is thankful for their support and has decided to go out with Manuel. What did you say asks Esteban. Are you considering going out with Manuel? Cris eyes him.

The lawyer for the defrauded party understands that Ulises's family doubts his involvement in the fraud. But we believe he committed that fraud with Nuria. Carmen cries and shakes her head. Juliana brings her contract to show the judge the signature of Ulises. Perla also has brought hers and shows it to him also. Carmen yells out that it's all a lie. Juan Carlos tells the ladies to calm down. Let the police investigate. The judge says with all the proof, they are issuing an arrest warrant for Ulises. Carmen almost faints.

Mystery girl notice that Ulises temperature is rising. He mutters Acacia's name. She tells him that she has to find some food for them to eat. She puts the gun in his hand and leaves.

Norberto, Juliana and Manuel arrive home. She wants to go change but Norberto says they have to talk. She shakes him off and leaves. Manuel stops his father from going after her and asks him what's wrong? Is it about that doctor? Has he been bothering my mother? That jerk took advantage of your mother and made her pregnant answers Norberto. He turns to leave again but Manuel stops him. Many times you have told me that I am your only son. I never took you seriously. Now tell me the truth. Is German not my brother? It's true says Norberto. I am not German's father.

Mystery girl urges Ulises to drink some water and eat some berries and he thanks her. My grandmother showed me replies mystery girl. Ulises says they have to leave. I need to see Acacia. Mystery girl advises leaving in the morning. He thanks her for everything, but she thanks him for giving her the strength to fight.

Norberto tells Manuel that Andres left to go to the U.S. knowing she was pregnant. So he knows German is his son asks Manuel. Of course answers Norberto. He pretends not to know but I am sure that he doesn't want Carmen to find out. No wonder he has been helping him says Manuel. He must feel guilty. Norberto says Andres better not get close to German again. Juliana wanted me to be the father of German. She hates him for betraying her. I accepted her with another man's child. But your mother never loved me like I love her.

Esteban tells Juan Carlos he knew that Ulises would not show up. Juan Carlos feels bad after seeing Carmen suffering. Elenita doesn't understand how Ulises could his mother this way. And what about Acacia asks Esteban. She's suffering also. Juan Carlos informs Cris and Esteban that the judge ordered an arrest warrant for Ulises. It what he deserves replies Acacia as she walks in. Too bad he can't be punished for breaking my heart. Esteban calls Ulises an idiot. Acacia agrees. You were always right. I no longer have any interest in talking about him. I need to get ready and she leaves the room. Elenita had hoped that Acacia would get over Ulises but talking the way she did with such coldness she believes is worse. Cris leaves to follow her. Esteban thinks it's best that Acacia becomes tough. That way no one will hurt her again.

Lizzy, German and Manuel arrive at Acacia's house. Lizzy says she hasn't been here since she was a kid. Manuel doesn't understand how since Acacia didn't live here then. German points out that Lizzy could have been there with her parents for a visit. Lizzy thanks him for defending her against his brother. Ale walks in and spots German and Lizzy together. She apologizes for the intrusion. She didn't realize there was company. Manuel introduces Ale to Lizzy. She is the daughter of the little store owner. He further explains that they are waiting for Acacia. They are all off to (?).

Knock on the kitchen door and it's Arturo. He came to talk to her. Luisa tells him he is not welcomed here after everything that happened with his brother. He understands but he has something to say to her. He wants her to defend her brother in the criminal case. There's a shadow behind them. She feels bad but can't. He begs her and Rubio steps out from the darkness. Didn't you hear her asks Rubio. Go or I will throw you out. She urges him to go. I don't want the patrones to know you came looking for me.

German tells Ale that they are all going out for the evening. He is glad to have renewed his friendship with Lizzy. Ale wishes them all a great and fun evening. She has to run off and see Cris. They are planning her wedding. Manuel asks her to tell Acacia to hurry. Acacia comes into the room and immediately greets Lizzy. She tells Ale that her mother is looking for her and off the group goes. Ale is in the corner crying.

The group are at a club, laughing and drinking it up. German looks serious for a moment as a girl in the next table reminds him of Ale. They are all dancing and having a great time. They are back at the table with Manuel serving Acacia more alcohol. Lizzy says it's time for her to leave but Acacia doesn't want to go. German promises to come back and get them after dropping off Lizzy. Manuel starts kissing Acacia's shoulder and she shoos him off laughingly. He makes a toast and hopes they are always like this. She appreciates him always making her laugh. They hug then Manuel goes in for a kiss. She breaks it off and is worried. He tells her not to sweat it. We never had a problem before Ulises. Know that I will always be at your side as a friend, boyfriend or husband. Whatever you want. If you want to cry over Ulises than here is my shoulder. Acacia doesn't want to cry over Ulises anymore so Manuel says it's time to dance again.

Danilo wants to know why Norberto wanted to meet up at the office. Norberto says he doesn't want to risk the police showing up again at this house with him there. Danilo says Julianita misses him. Norberto promises to see her soon. So what is going on with Ulises? Danilo is worried about the whole situation. If the police start looking for him and find him, things could get ugly. Ulises escaped.

Acacia doesn't want to drink anymore and asks for more water. He leaves to her bidding and a guy comes up and starts hitting on Acacia. She asks him to leave her alone and Manuel comes up. He tells the guy to skedaddle and b!tchslaps the guy when he refuses. They start fighting while she tries to break it up.

Esteban and Cris are getting it on when his cellphone rings. It's Acacia.

German admits to Lizzy that he agreed to go out with her to forget someone. He apologizes and promises to leave her alone. She appreciates his honesty and understands. Once school finished, they hardly spoke anymore. So I would like to see you again and talk. German is game. They agree to meet tomorrow.

Acacia tells Cris that Manuel drank to much and got into a fight. Cris tells her it's time to come home. Esteban is asking Cris what is going on? Acacia tells Cris that they can't return yet because German went and took Lizzy home. Cris says she's on her way to pick her up. Esteban again asks impatiently what happened? Did Manuel do something to her? I told you not to let her go out with Manuel.

Cris tells Acacia as they are walking into the house that she appreciates her calling them when she got into trouble. Cris wants to know why Acacia called Esteban and not her? Acacia explains that his number was the first one on her phone. Cris says no matter what time, I will always be there for you. Acacia apologizes for waking them up.

Esteban brings home a drunk Manuel and throws him into Norberto's arms. I thought he was maturing and acting better says Esteban. Norberto thinks he's overreacting. Everyone is entitled once in a while to have fun and get drunk. Esteban says not when he is with Acacia. Did he make a pass asks Norberto. No but he put her in danger replies Esteban. Not only did he get drunk but got into a fight with a guy. I had to go and pick them up. Norberto promises to speak with his son and tells Esteban to calm down. Nothing bad happened. But it could have points out Esteban. Manuel is irresponsible and I forbid him from coming around Acacia.

Juliana tells German that she can't believe he is defending a guy that fooled them all. German explains he is not siding with Ulises. I just cannot speak ill of someone that I believe is innocent. I have received nothing but support from him. Juliana thinks he only did it to ruin Manuel. I also want to talk to you about your father. You know things are not good between us. And now I have reached my limit. You once told me you would help me if I ever decided to leave your father. German doesn't want to rock the boat since his father has finally started treating him well. But if you are really unhappy then know I support you. Juliana thanks him and asks that he not tell Manuel. Not until everything is finalized.

Norberto reminds Esteban that he is not Acacia's father. No, but she is the most important person to me replies Esteban. I will take care of her and watch over her. It's obvious your son still cares for her. And how is that any of your business asks Norberto. It bothers me says Esteban. It is obvious your son is not man enough for her. Norberto points out that no one loves her more than his son. If Acacia had accepted Manuel instead of Ulises, none of this would have happened. Esteban says Acacia could not have a good future with a man that is completely immature. And I don't care what type of relationship your wife has with Cris. Acacia will not be seeing your son again. He storms off.

Norberto comes into Manuel's room at the crack of dawn and claps his hands together for Manuel to wake up. You have to get up and offer Acacia an apology. Manuel ignores him so Norberto picks up a pitcher of water and throws it at him. Manuel tells him to calm down. He has everything under control. I kisses Acacia last night and she responded. Norberto tells Manuel to seal the deal. Ulises has escaped and at any moment will reappear.

Esteban questions Acacia on Manuel's behavior last night. Acacia lies and says he was the same as usual. A ranch worker comes in running and informs them that Palomino, Acacia’s horse, ran off and fell. His leg is hurt. Esteban and Acacia run after the ranch worker.

German and Andres are talking paintings when the doorbell rings. Andres leaves to answer it's Juliana. She says they need to talk but Andres doesn't think so. She says German is his son.

Esteban is on the phone with the vet and tells Acacia that he can't come. You know we have to put him down. Acacia doesn't want to. Why does everything I love have to leave me? Esteban takes the gun and shoots the horse.

Andres says he doesn’t believe her. Why are you telling me this now? Because I couldn’t find you replies Juliana. You told me to leave you since I didn't have any money says Andres. Why didn't you try and find me. I would have taken responsibility. German comes in and sees his mother. What are you doing here he asks.

Esteban says Palomino is no longer suffering. Acacia wants to see him but Esteban doesn't think it's a good idea. You don't want to see him this way. It's best you remember him the way he was.

Juliana tells German she came to tell Andres that she can't drop the charges against Ulises. The paper trail all points to Ulises. Even if that is the case, I will not stop supporting Carmen replies Andres. Juliana says she feels bad that with a third party involved they can't come to an understanding. We have a lot in common. German says it's difficult for him to take sides. Andres tells him not to worry about it. You have no reason to be affected by what others did. German tells Juliana that he explained to Andres that he cannot be against his brother. But I will also not give a negative statement against Ulises. Of course replies Juliana. She tells Andres they will see each other again. German says he really likes Andres's paintings and one day they will talk in length about it. She and German leave.

Acacia tells Esteban how much she will miss Palomino. He made her feel closer to her father. Esteban says when he feels down, this is the spot he comes to. Just look at the beautiful surroundings. And listen. Now close your eyes. It's better. Esteban's phone rings. It's Cris. She says she can't wait for him anymore. She will be late for her meeting with Hector. Acacia said he should have told her about Palomino. I would have replies Esteban but she has a meeting and I didn't want to upset her. He says he's going to see to the burial of Palomino. Acacia doesn't want him to go. She needs him. Esteban promises to always be with her. Whenever she wants. They hug.

Manuel greets Luisa but she gives him the cold shoulder. He tells her to run off and get Acacia but finds out she's not there. If you don't believe me, go and ask someone else says Luisa. Manuel doesn't want her to be mad at him all because he doesn't want things to get serious between them. How to you think I feel when you ignore me asks Luisa. Manuel doesn't want to keep talking about it. You are ruining our friendship. So you still want to be friends asks Luisa. Always replies Manuel. In that name of friendship can you do me a favor? I want you to file a negative report against Ulises.

Ale is at her desk when German strolls in. He asks for some paperwork. She hands it to him and he's just cold and all business with her. She turns the conversation over to last night but he tells her that his private life is his alone and not to ask. Ale says it is her business when it comes to work. She doesn't want him to get distracted when it comes to his friend. German points out that is why he trained her. To take care of things when he's not around. Which reminds him, he will be leaving early to meet up with Lizzy. Ale asks once work is done, if she can leave also to finalize the details of her wedding. He tells her to do what she wants and leaves.

Carmen comes in pay Andres a visit and finds out that Juliana came over. Carmen is not happy. Can't that woman just leave us alone? Is she upset that her son believes in Ulises? What should I expect though. He will always side with his family. So, it's better not to deal with him anymore. Andres says they can't. Carmen says he and Ulises supported him and when they need him, he turns his back on us. I don't want to see German again.

Mystery girl has brought Ulises to her grandmother's house and asks how he's doing. Not good replies the grandmother. If he is alive it's because of his spirit. Nothing gives a man more strength than the love of a woman. Let's hope that his feelings are stronger than his injuries. Mystery girl tells Ulises he has to fight and get better.

Andres says it's not German's fault. Carmen reminds him that no one supported German when Norberto threw him out of the house. But my son did. Arturo comes in. he says the police found phone records with calls made to Miami. He may have gone there. Andres knows people there and perhaps they can call the consulate. Carmen begs Andres to take her there. They can't depend on anyone here to help them.

Esteban and Acacia are walking and he asks if she is doing better. A little replies Acacia. Esteban picks up rocks and starts throwing them. He tells her to throw some and remember her childhood. Acacia recalls coming to this exact location with her father and watch the sunset. He invites her to join him in doing just that.  
Juliana is happy that Andres came to see her. She says they have a lot to talk about but think they need to go somewhere else. Norberto asks where does she think she's going? You are not leaving this house and points to Andres and tells him to leave. Andres says he's not leaving. I came here to talk about German who is my son.

Cris is taking pictures and walks up on Acacia and Esteban in each others arms. She asks what are they doing alone here?

Manana: Cris slaps Esteban; Acacia has another dream about Esteban; Cris tells Esteban not to get close to Acacia which Esteban disagrees.
