The End is near La Sombra del Pasado #100 07/06/2015

Here we go!

Sev walks in on Prudencia and Valeria- he heard everything and demands to know who the real father is. Val tries to make excuses, she tells him he heard wrong but he's on to her and tells her to shove it, he knows what he heard and now it is perfectly clear to him that Val is not in love with his son.

He tells her that all she wants is to take advantage of Cris and that he thought Aldonza was bad but that Val is worse. Val begs him not to compare her to Aldi- she is a better woman but Sev tells her he is not so sure about that any more and tells her that he will withdraw his support, he no longer wants Cris to marry her. Sev is on the warpath, he asks the maid where Cris is but she has no idea.

It seems like Sev is set on unmasking Val but he has an appointment that he must keep. Where is he going? Well, he is off to visit the bishop, who by the way is wearing a very fetching hat thingy in a lovely shade of hot pink. Me want. Something tells me that Sev is up to no good. Someone, hold me!

We inturrupt this recap for a very important PSA:

Okay, kids, here is a lesson that you must learn if you want to get far in life; if you're going to try and fool someone into believing that they knocked you up, make damn sure that you NEVER, EVER,EVER, discuss your plot with someone else, especially with your mom, more so if she has a drinking problem and no concept of what an "in door voice" is.

You're welcome!

Pru is sure that Sev is going to spill the beans and she tells Val that she needs to get the heck out of dodge before Cris gets home, Val argues that Sev won't say anything, because doing so would mean that he is handing Cris over to Aldi on a silver platter and that just wont do. Pru is still unsure and actually pulls out Val's pink suitcase, she annoys her daughter so much that she finally gets herself kicked out. Val is left so worried she seems to be shaking. She also looks like she works at Target.

While all this is going down Candela is busy giving Humberto the news that he is soon to be a grandfather. Humberto is furious and if he could kill Val he would (do ittttttttt, doooooo iiiiiiiit). Candela tells him to chill out, but Hum wants to know how Cris is dealing with everything. Candela tells him Cris is still resisting but that eventually he will come around.

Humberto tells her Cris is married to Aldi and the he doubts he is going to marry Val, she is going to end up a single mother and it serves her right. Candela says she believes Cris will marry Val, Humberto replies "so that they can have a marriage like yours? Like mine? That's something I can take comfort in"-teehee that made me laugh.

Later, Candela comes home and tells Val that she spoke with her dad, she notices how nervous Val is, she almost jumped out of her chair when cande walked in to the room. Candela wants to know what's wrong, she demands to be told about everything and anything that might be going on. Val tells her the whole situation has her on edge, she does not want to be a single mother and blah blah blah. Candela tells her not to worry, she has her support and that of Severiano's, and she tells Val to calm down and ask her doctor for some medication to help calm her nerves, all the stress is not good for the baby.

Humberto is off trying to have a conversation with Pru and her new body part: the wine glass. He tells her he could strangle Val, and Pru tells him he will not lay a finger on her. Humberto twists the knife by reminding Pru about how she and Val treated E-man just because he was born out of wedlock, they treated him like crap over something he could not help and now Val finds herself knocked up and unmarried, and he doubts Cris or any other man will want her. Ouch.

Padre J and Adelina chat. He tells her that he can tell she's depressed, and she says that the weight of her sins is getting to her, so much so that she will be telling Aldi the truth about the night her sister/brother was born. Padre J tells her to hurry up, before Aldi finds out the truth on her own.

Joaquin goes to visit Flavia in order to drop off the little drawing that Ray made. Flavia has a really bad cough but no fever or any other symptoms. Joaquin is worried and tells her to take something for it, if she does not feel better after that he will take her to the doctor. He's such a good man. Oh and Flavia, girl, the last person on this show who got a cough ended up with cancer, so umm good luck with that.

E-man makes an appearance and he gets advice from some dude whose name I can't remember. The guy tells him that Veronica is a hell of a woman, but that she flies from flower to flower, and to be careful, especially if he is the kind of man that would suffer over a lover. E-man wants to know if Don Antonio would have a problem with him seeing Vero and the worker tells him that Don Antonio is not the kind of person to meddle, he will give advise but he respects the decisions that Veronica makes.

Aldi is at home crying some more, Adelina walks in and they have a conversation that goes like this:

Aldi:"this is the last time I'm going to cry over Cris, I'm going to rip him from my heart, and I don't care what it takes. Valeria is going to give him a child, which is something I can't do, and it is all Severiano's fault, I hate him more than anything in the world" Raise of hands, who here thinks that Aldi needs professional help like ASAP?

Cris comes home and instead of having to put up with Val he goes off to see the horses, the maid informs him that his dad is looking for him and that it's urgent, Cris tells her to let his dad know he is home when he returns, as soon as he leaves Val tells the maid not to bother, she will tell her uncle when he gets home that Cris is there.

Sev does come home and all sorts of ickyness ensues. Val tries to tell him that she loves cris but he tells her to stop playing games and not to insult his intelligence. He argues that she's just like him:smart and ambitious and that if she had been honest with him they could have reach some sort of agreement. Val wants to know what he is talking about and he tells her that she is going to help him get what's his and that together they will make Aldi disappear forver. He tells her this while holding her face so closely that it looks like he's going to kiss her. Gross. Uber gross.

Val wants to know if that means he is going to kill Aldi and Sev asks if she thinks he has it in him to kill? She does not answer and he tells her there's lots of ways to get rid of a person. Val tells him she can't wait-soon everyone will know that she is knocked up and with Aldi in the way there's no way Cris will ever pay attention to her.

Sev tells her that she has to get used to the idea that the baby will be born before she marries Cris or anyone else, when the baby arrives Cris will change, because there's nothing that a parent won't do for his child. Val is not in agreement but Sev tells her he is not asking for her opinion, she will get what she wants, to be Mrs.Mendoza and her child will be born into his family and have all the priviliges that come with that, and so will she, but she has to wait and he has to get what he wants. Val asks what Sev is after and he says 'isn't it clear? I want El Santuario"

This is his plan: he wants Val to chummy up to her dad, as an only child she should get the Santuario as an inheritance, once Humberto agrees to do it, she is to sign the property over to him. When Val gives him a WTF face he tells her to stop, he is not stealing from anyone, he paid for that property and it is time it returns to him. Val agrees to help and Sev tells her he is sure they will really get along from now on.

Cris comes to the door and Val hides, Sev has to come up with a story to tell Cris so he just says he wants him to man up and marry Val. cris says nope, not gonna happen and stop trying to run my life! Sev tells him he is acting like a jerk and closes the door on Cris.

Aldi gets an update fro Joaquin, everything with the crops is up and running, she also finds out that Adelina broke up with him, she's like "really?"- I guess she's so into herself that she has no idea what's going on in the lives of people that live with her!

Aldi later has a convo with Adelina and Ade says she does not deserve Joaquin, she is not the good person everyone thinks she is. She can say that again.

Candela goes to get her nana back. She apologizes for the things that happened and tells her that if she and Mel return they will get the same or better treatment than what they had before, she says the only reason she threatened them before was because she was desperate and had no idea what to do to get them back, she gives them a check and tells them that's the money she owes them for their work and it is up to them to return or not.

U-videos won't let me see the last 10-11 minutes, can you guys help a sister out?

Gracias, Eli. Spectacular recap! Episode 100...we're really making progress.

I love the PSA...though I'm glad Val didn't learn this important lesson soon enough...heh :D

"She also looks like she works at Target." Hilarious!

"Candela says she believes Cris will marry Val, Humberto replies 'so that they can have a marriage like yours? Like mine? That's something I can take comfort in'-teehee that made me laugh." No kidding. When Humberto is thinking clearly and not doing Sev's dirty work, he's so refreshingly level-headed. I can't believe after everything Val has done, he even cares about her actually being happy in her marriage...or maybe he cares about his godson's happiness...or his grandchild's.

"Padre J tells her to hurry up, before Aldi finds out the truth on her own." One of the other, other, other themes of the show.

I'm raising my hand for professional help. Get thee to a therapist, Aldonza! Screw having babies, screw pleasing a man, you just need to be able to...well...screw. For your own good. Te lo juro. You don't want to end up like Cande, sublimating all that pent-up sexual energy into making other people's lives miserable.

I was expecting some outright, overt sexual blackmail from Sev. Instead he's going to just, what, innuendo us to death?

Last 10-11 minutes, let me think...

-Lola tells her grandparents about Simoneta disappearing and being pregnant with Sev's baby. She didn't tell them earlier because he threatened to fire them, but since they're already fired, might as well. Dom and Mel look suspicious about Simoneta's disappearance, too. I think Lola called Sev "canijo"?

-Val sucks up to Humberto. She even agrees to move back to the house.

-Joaquin talks to Renato. She's now off the hook with the cops, but she probably shouldn't leave town. Renato offers to have his dad take a look at Flavia. To piggyback on what you said earlier, "Oh and Flavia, girl, the last person on this show who got a cough [and went to see Renato's dad for it] ended up with cancer, so umm good luck with that."

-Silvia talks to God. Tomas tries to hit on her. Padre J shoos him out.

-Cheaters Club Meeting. Whatevs.

-Irma apologizes again and says she doesn't believe Lola stole anything from her. She wants Lola to come back to work. Lola needs time to think about it.

-The heat goes out at Don Antonio's place and Veronica sneaks into bed with Emmanuel to stay warm. Emmanuel is a very, very deep sleeper. Don Antonio finds them together. No consequences just yet other than being woken up from a deep sleep to an angry boss and a girl in his bed who wasn't there when he went to sleep.

-LOLA (of all people) tries to talk some sense into Aldonza...she reminds her that Lardo is also a candidate for Baby Daddy. And that's where they leave it.

Awesome recap! Thanks Eli! Love the PSA and the "(do ittttttttt, doooooo iiiiiiiit)" nudge to Hum.

Can't quite remember what happens at the end, but I know Adelina seemed like she was on the verge of telling Aldi, but was super grateful when the doorbell rang. It was Cande who came to find out what Aldi was going to do now that she knows about the baby. Aldi told her she was going through with the divorce and Cande so wanted to jump up and down and clap her hands, but restrained herself to smirking.

Cris went to Hum to say he'd take care of his child, but not Val because they'd be miserable. Hum was torn between agreeing and being all "you knocked up my daughter, you scoundrel!". Then Val went to her dad and laid on the "puppy dog, woe is me, you were mean too" act. Hum basically told her she had to move home to get his cooperation.

Oh and Lola, shockingly being useful, pointed out the possible Lardo connection to Aldensea. And Veronica climbed into bed with a sleeping Eman and then her uncle burst in on them!

So Flavia has the death rattle huh? REn ssuggested she see his dad (which prompted me to wonder if they're going to bond over their infidelities and ride of into the sunset together because something inside me doesn't know how to not hook TN characters up in my head).

Oh! Nvm, Anon 3:19's got it covered!

Great job, Eli. Your insight and observations make me laugh.

Lola hit two home runs! I'm hoping her revelations about Sev keep the abuelos away from Cande's grasp, and I hope she goes through some mental anguish over the Cris/Aldonza/Val situation without her Nana to giver her words of advice.

Aldonza seemed to be seriously considering Lola's thoughts re:Lardo being the father of Val's baby.

I put my hand up to agree with you that Aldonza needs some professional counseling.

I thought it would be boozy Pru who spilled the beans, but she did keep talking about it so much that Val outed herself. Cool.

Maybe Lola should go see PJ with her suspicions, and get our one man detective agency working on the case.

If he's not going to force Val into a sexual situation, I don't understand why he was pawing all over her. For her part, she didn't look the least bit put off by his stroking her. These two were made for each other.

Guess we'll have to wait to see what kind of evil stuff Sev told el Obispo.

David

Hot ziggety dawg! What a recap, Eli! Thank you! And what an episode! Three dimensional people intruding on patio time but we got answers to what Sev's move would be. Vile was only thrown momentarily and quickly tried to work the situation to her advantage. Even though "it" didn't happen yet, she was NOT acting yuckified by Sev's slimy passes at her! I think the ho will go all the way with Sev and not be weirded out.

So much for liking Veronica for Eman! The heffa has gotten him into trouble. The last thing he needed was another conniving, amoral skank! DOH!

More later! Thanks again, Eli!

Eli, excellent summary.

Hard to pare down my list of favorites but they include “…make damn sure that you NEVER, EVER,EVER, discuss your plot with someone else, especially with your mom, more so if she has a drinking problem and no concept of what an "in door voice" is”; "if he could kill Val he would (do ittttttttt, doooooo iiiiiiiit)" and "Pru and her new body part: the wine glass" (which had me laughing out loud).

Hum’s stock just went up a bit with me as he…” twists the knife by reminding Pru about how she and Val treated E-man just because he was born out of wedlock, they treated him like crap over something he could not help and now Val finds herself knocked up and unmarried. Although he has shown little backbone previously, it is never too late to grow a spine, is it?

hellashelle (thank you) pointed out the 2 most pivotal events (IMHO) which were "So Flavia has the death rattle, huh?" and "Oh and Lola, shockingly being useful, pointed out the possible Lardo connection to Aldensea".

After Sev's treatment of Aldonza, his repartee with Val was surprisingly bland (cringeworthy but not as shocking). Obviously he does not value Cris as he claims or he would never have made a deal with Val. His quest for vengeance is so strong as wants to destroy Aldonza. And yes Kat, I am still mystified as to why Aldonza hasn't sought the psychological help she so desperately needs.

Looks like Cande's two faced pleas got to Dominga. Ack.

Wasn't in Veronica's camp at all and am less so now. Good grief girl, guess you have no self worth. That said, Eman does seem to have a penchant for any attractive woman that gives him the time of day.

Tomas appears to have forgotten his heartache over Pru, doesn't he? He was kind of cute with Silvia who seemed to get a kick out of him!

Thanks again Eli!

Diana

Oh I had forgotten about the Tomas/Silvia moment. Thanks Diana! I was very surprised by that. She was inching away from him down the pew, but then at the end she was smiling at him before PJ yanked him up. (Also, Anon 3:19 pointed out my points before I submitted my post. Credit to Anon3:19!)

Yeah, I dug how Hum was pointing out the obvious to Cande and Pru, but he lost me at the end when he said he doubted any man would want Val now. Obviously, Val most strongly attracts rats and slim, but that's not because she's pregnant and unmarried. Not cool, Hum.

I'm starting to believe that Al will either get her psych help in a time jump in the last eppy or not at all and she'll just magically be cured by her force of will, as others on the Patio have noted. I liked her arguments tonight and wish that she had struggled with them from the moment she found out about the baby, rather than jumping straight out of her marriage.

Thanks Eli- for a good, funny, sometimes creepy recap.
Sev tells val, he thought she was better than ally, well sev you're not a very good judge of character are ya?
She looks like she works at target, that was funny.
Cande is a walking waud of stress in braids. Thats why val jumped when she (cande) walked in.
Prus new body part, that was funny.
Don't you just wish cris would move out of mom and dads house? If wishes were trees!!!!

Good golly, I howled all the way through. Thanks Eli

"no concept of what an "in door voice" is"

"Pru and her new body part: the wine glass"

I only worry for PJ, no telling the yarn that stinker Severiano spun

I thought Val kept it together quite well and looked Severiano in the eye instead of cowering, even after he called her out on playing him a fool. Girl got guts

Bla bla bla I don't care Aldonza.

Thanks to Lola for what should have been top of Aldonza's mind anyway, Val & Abelardo.

Move over Emanuel my feet get cold easily

Thank you Eli. I was surprised too that all Sev wanted was help to get El Santuario back.
Thanks 5Ft for the last 1o minutes too. What will Aldonza do with that new idea about the baby perhaps being Abelardo? Probably nothing.

We all know that casket underwater is going to be discovered sometime. If Aldonza makes moves for the water to come from their water source on the property, I'll guess it will be at that time.
Also, I'm pretty sure that the cough means Flavia dies. They don't do divorce if there's a child involved, and since Joaquin and Adelina are going to end up together, that will be Flavia's death sentence. Renato offered Joaquin to take her to see his father, and he offered to do it for free. They do all their work for free for all these people.

I was a bit worried when Sylvia smiled at Tomas when he was making those idiotic kissing motions, than goodness PJ stepped in. I really hope they don't go there.

Thank you so much , Eli, for yet another wonderful and funny recap. I always enjoy your sense of humor.

Severed is obsessed with El Santuaria. It is the only thing he loves besides himself.

Watching Severed pawing Vile made me want to hurl. This guy thinks that any female will welcome his attention. Yikes and yuk. Vile and Sev will make a dreadful team since they both have no scruples. I think that Sev still might try something with her since his mistress is currently in that trunk somewhere under the waterfall. Sev always needs someone to use and abuse. Hum may finally spill all the secrets he knows about Sev if Sev hurts Vile.

Tomas putting the moves on Sylvia in the church lets us know that this guy is still a work in progress. He seems to like the ladies in general. A ladies man.

Flavia is on the way to the great beyond. Poor little Ray.

Another winner, Eli! Thank you! I have to put in another vote for the "Humberto is furious and if he could kill Val he would (do ittttttttt, doooooo iiiiiiiit)" line.

And I was laughing along with you when Humberto was like "grrreaat. Then Val can have a marriage like yours and mine."

cathyx-If they go Tomas/Silvia then this show is dead to me. Just.No. Don't.

Flavia's cough-Oh she is so dead.

I thought that Silvia was smiling at Tomas because she could see Padre J swooping in behind him. At least I hope so!

And I still think Sev is going to try to add sex into the deal. It's like he's testing the waters with Val first, and I agree with all who are saying she doesn't look all that squicked.

How is it that Lola had to remind Al about catching Vile and Lardo together? Does Al have memory issues?

Poor E. ..caught being spooned by Ver. This guy needs to get a break.

Again, susanlynn...you just sneak in and drop these dry wit bombs. I love reading your comments.

Diva. I agree. Sev and Vile are both lusty folks . I am pretty sure that it would not take much to seduce Vile . She would do anything to snare Cris..including doing the bunnyhop with future father-in-law. Just wait until acandy finds out about Vile's little secret and Sev and Pru knowing about it. Hell hath no fury . Those braids are going to spontaneously combust.

Thank you Eli for the funny, sparkling recap. And thank you Kat and Hellashelle for filling in the missing parts.

Lots of interesting things last night. Sever and Val firming up their partnership. I don't for one moment believe he will support her marriage to Cris, or even let her live, once she signs over Santuario to him. As soon as she does that, he'll get rid of her or expose her. That's why he doesn't want her to sweat the whole getting married before the baby is born thing. Plus, I think he'll eventually want more than a knee grope with her.

Lola was giving lots of people stuff to think about. Putting the thought in her abuelos' minds that Sever was capable of hurting her pregnant mother, and getting Al to see the possibility of Lardo being Val's baby daddy.

I thought what Al said about Val being able to give Cris babies, and her fear that she'll never be able to have sex and have babies, finally jived with her actions. I too wish that had been followed up with a suggestion to get professional help, and a desire to not rush into a divorce.

HellaShelle, with you on this! "which prompted me to wonder if they're going to bond over their infidelities and ride of into the sunset together because something inside me doesn't know how to not hook TN characters up in my head"

susanlynn "Poor E. ..caught being spooned by Ver. This guy needs to get a break." I thought that was his break :D

Eman is just too hot for his own good. The ladies can't keep their eyes or hands off. He's like his mama.

Vivi, I agree with all of that.

Sweet Baby Chi, I am humbled. Having a little time off and not getting up five days a week at 5.15 is a help to my sense of humor. Also, I think that I am feeling a bit rebellious and dangerous since I was fingerprinted. Now, they want school volunteers to get criminal checks and fingerprinted....that will cost them $50.00..to volunteer.

I'm not too worried about Vero because the worker said Don Antonio does not mess with her and respects her decisions.

Susanlynn, I had to get a "fingerprint card" when I worked with children. But it was part of my job, so work paid for it. I think since it's something that's needed in order to be able to volunteer at a school, it counts as a charitable donation for tax purposes. But I am not a tax expert, so don't take my word for it!

Eli, I think he had his pillow in his hand, so he might just tell the two kids to make room for him until they can fix the heat :)

Kat..ha..Well, since he was sound asleep, he really could not appreciate the spooning, and then, he is caught by tionin a compromising position. This guy is always being set up by someone. I need him to have some happiness.

Kat,
Hub is an accountant and tax preparer. I will ask him, but it only matters if you can itemize.

I'm wondering why Don Antonio went in there in the first place. Maybe he got cold, too and was checking to see if the heat was out all over the house, or what. I'm sure he was as surprised to find Vero in Emmanuel's bed as Emmanuel was!

I liked that the ranch hand wasn't negative about Veronica's free-spirited ways. That was refreshing.

I had the most frustrating day at work today, starting early, and only now could check in for your recap. Holy Moly! Did you ever brighten my day Eli!!

"do ittttttttt, doooooo iiiiiiiit". Lordd, I could just hear someone in a deadly whisper saying that. Priceless!!

I can't even with Val being so stupid she really think Sev is going to help her out, but she's desperate, so whatever. And Hum better fire a few brain cells when she starts sweet talking him for the property.

Flavia, cough cough, will now play on Joaquin's sympathies. I'm not so sure she's slated for the anvil though. I have the bad feeling this gets her back home and being cared for by the hubby who will feel bad for her. Sucky plot if that happens.

Yeah, whatever Ade. Get it over with. And stop talking to Allie. You only aid and abet her helpless attitude.

Poor E-man. He better not lose his place with Don over this. Man, we had such hopes.

Daisynjay

Eli - Thank you for the recap and the snark!

Looks like Tomas got over Prudencia rather quickly. LOL!

Gah! The minute Flavia started coughing, I new knew she is going to be dead meat, thus leaving a clear path for Adelina & Joaquin. Yeeeeesh, talk about a telenovela trope! Watching her fall under a bus would be more entertaining. Maybe my prediction will end up being right (a first!!!) except it will be by disease and not cross-gunfire. Whatevs.

I guess that Veronica stunt is a sign that they won't be ending up as a couple. I got bad vibes when that guy was talking to Eman about her earlier, sort of like a warning. That can not end well. So, most likely Lola it will be .... what sayeth the Patio?

Cande was kind of pathetic, baring her soul to Dominga & Mel.

Susanlynn,

"Also, I think that I am feeling a bit rebellious and dangerous since I was fingerprinted."

Did you go out and buy a leather coat? Or at least fingerless leather gloves?

I understand that school systems want fingerprints for safety reasons. I've had to do it in the two states where I've taught.

I hate that they charge the volunteer though. It's so hard to get people to volunteer. I think we even have to get it done if parents want to drive on field trips....I may be wrong though.

Since I work with schools in the National Capital Region, I have to do multiple background checks and fingerprints-- for DC, MD, VA, and Federal.

I had to have a background check and fingerprints just to be a sub for the local county school system, and I was going to sub for .... Adult Ed! Everyone gets checked out, no matter what. With all the perverts running around, they cannot be too careful. I had to pay, but it was reimbursed with my first paycheck.

Viv - Seems like those school systems could cooperate so that you did not have to go through that four times!

I had to get fingerprinted several years ago to volunteer at my daughter's elementary school. And then again recently to work in a high school cafeteria. I don't know if they're worried we would steal food or inappropriately tough the kids, lol. Probably both, but trust me, I don't even want to eat the carbohydrate laden meals they prepare at the school, let alone steal it.

Doris, I'm with you about the conversation about Veronica. I had the 'warning' feeling too. And after she slipped into his bed, it made me so mad after what Eman has already gone through with people not believing his innocence.

cathyx - I think the background checks have more to do with contact with minors, or even the potential for contact.

doris, I still say Em and Vero, but I guess that's really up to Tio Don Antonio :)

Gracias, Eli. And it really rots when Uvideos craps out on you.

I'm totally with Kat and Vivi on the situation of Sev and Vile. I think he's playing her until she outlives her usefulness and then intends to off her now that she has shown herself to be the cualquiera she accuses Aldonza of being. Will he boink her before that happens? I think so and if he does I want them caught in the act.

Lola is showing evidence of some grey cells working, but what took so long?

I have to wonder whether Veronica has been playing Emanuel in order to get him kicked out to guarantee her winning the competition. He doesn't deserve that.

Maybe I misunderstood something about the horse competition, but I thought she was saying that they would be competing together, rather than against each other. In a team/couple's event?

Will he boink her before that happens? I think so and if he does I want them caught in the act. Hmmm...tough call...who do I want to catch them? If it's Cris, then Val is done...if it's Cande, Val is done AND there might be some hair pulling...decisions, decisions....

Doris...I think that Lola and E will be together in the end...but I am not happy about it.

SweetBabechi...▪Yes, I wear a leather jacket (even in our current heat and humidity because I am tough ), and my daughter just got a blue streak in her hair and is coaxing me to get one. I saw an eight year-old boy with blue tint in his hair at Party City the other day, and I asked his mother if it was sprayed in . She did not seem to think that I was a weirdy and told me that he got it at a party and it was chalk. I am going to look for that chalk. I think blue hair would look tough with my leather. Ohh..a tatoo..I should get a tatoo. (In truth, the most caring thing I have actually done lately is wearing blue toenail polish...yeah, I'm bad.)

5Ft, I would go with Cande finding out, that would be must see TV. And then we get to see what she would do with the information.

As far as Veronica and Eman, I thought they would be competing against each other.

Kat...Hey..let's have Cris AND Candy catch them midboink.

Susanlynn, I saw that chalk at Michaels, it's a craft store. And they sell henna for making designs on your hands. According to my daughter, that's the new cool thing.

Caring...was supposed to be daring.

I could live with Cris and Cande both walking in on them..."It sounds like your father is having another attack!"

Cathyx..Some of female students put henna designs on their hands. The designs are intricate and beautiful.

Thanks for the info . I will be headed to Michael's. I am thinking that blue hair and a tatoo might give them something to talk about at my reunion this Sunday.

I've been contemplating a purple streak.

I've got 9 tattoos. I wouldn't mind a 10th.

WOW...Sweetbabe Chi...Do you really have 9 tatoos??...real ones? A few years ago , my older daughter wanted her sister and me to get a tattoo with her. Did not happen. I do not like needles. I was thinking of the stick on kind.

My daughter's blue streak (which took hours at the hair dresser ) turned green in her blonde hair.

P.s. When I go to Michael's,I will check to see if they have purple hair chalk.

Yup. I really have 9. Offspring has close to that many as well. We're rebels. Lol.

Who should catch Sev with Vile?....

Candela: The snakes would come unbraided and spit poison.
Cristobal: He would hightail it right to El Santuario without a backward glance, taking Dom and Mel with him.
Humberto: Sev would kill both him and Vile.
Pru: See Humberto scenario.
Padre J: That would have to be in the church, coming full circle. We would also need a witness for the padre's protection.

Sweet..Can you give us a rundown of the nine? Like ..three flowers, a bird, two ladybugs, a skull and crossbones,Hello Kitty, and Marcelo Cordoba. Am I close ?

Lots of flowers. A koi fish. A dragonfly. An art nouveau design. An astrological sign.

I am impressed. WOW. .Did it hurt ? What comes next ? May I suggest Marcelo Cordoba? I was 28 before I got my ears pierced by a nurse at the local mall....and then my mother had to keep me from fleeing.

I want you to try blue nailpolish...it really attracts a lot of comments...the dentist..strangers sitting next to you at a concert....your family.

Hmmmm...Marcelo. Don't get me started, Susanlynn. :) Sara- Love the tatoo rundown. I could never commit to something so permanent.

Susanlynn, I think ally does have a memory problem. Back when padre J got in that sev induced car crash, ally and ade were leaving the hospital, they spotted vileval and lardo in her car suckin face, they (ally and ade) stopped and smurked at them, like they had a dirty secret. Of course val&lardo didn't see them.
Ally's not thinking, she's in to much agony, heartache pain. I am tired of her whimpin out,
Its bad enough seeing cris in that condition.
She should really think about it. Sence when does lola girl come up with anything that resembles wisdom.
Think ally think. Val, lardo, baby daddy!!!! Ring any bells? It would be convenient to claim cris as daddy lardo's sperm depositer. lardo being dead and all. Just sayin.

But Lardo was buried rather than cremated. If or when this gets to Irma and Uriel they can get an exhumation order so they can claim a grandchild.

Really, Aldonza should consider whom she's dealing with here. She was smart about Vile in the past. No way should she take her word for anything when Cristbal was too drunk to remember what happened that night.

Thanks Eli, I loved your recap and sense of humor.

Sev sure has a way with words, Val needs to heed the warnings.

Rosemary Primera

Eli, thanks for a really great recap.

What has happened to the gringo?
