Amores con Trampa #99 Porfirio's ghosts are closin in on him... and Carmen needs to get off the see saw.
Labels: Trampa
"Isa talks to Santee, she is talking a bit of nonsense, even tells him he should go find a job (yeah right, it will rain upwards before that, Isa)" and "Out comes Hilda and is having fun watching Felipe being hard on himself but she is truly attracted to him… (run, Felipe!! RUN!!!)" were among many excellent lines.
"it seems they both have lead feet (or as the teacher says two or three left feet)". Yes, Feli and Hilda are no Fred and Ginger but I give them credit for trying.
"(be careful Francis, you haven’t seen Hulk Hilda get green when she gets angry)." Am I a terrible person because I had hoped Hilda was going to put Francis in her place? Sigh. If she has intimidated Hilda, I hold out no hope.
I loved Isa and Ale having a blast at the mall (and indulging in all those goodies). That looked like a fabulous outing - sweets and shoes.
I also got a kick out of Carmen’s incessant nagging. I don’t know how Eduardo and Africa were able to keep a straight face, especially after Carmen rolled out from under the bed. I laughed a lot – I give them credit for not backing down although Facundo looked like he was going to “crack” early on and give into her…
What on earth is in the envelope behind the picture??
Second night of no Margarita and Susana. I hope they were on a well deserved break and will be back on Monday.
Diana
Diana: I also thought the nagging scene was a hoot. The actor who plays Carmen was really good. I'd love to see the outtakes.
running with the pruning shears in his hands.
You all are making this episode sound sound funny. I will definitely be watching it sometime today. Back later after I do.
So much to comment on:
So, the dance teacher could not even shut Francis up? Really? With all of her insults?
It was so funny when María could see through Carmen's dramatic "act of contrition" and and just asked her what she wanted. Carmen was a hoot with her whiny incessant "por fa."She was a real brat standing Felipe up with his dance help. She just should have told him she had other plans and gone. She does need to get off the see saw.
Isabel showed she could be a great mother with her interactions and advice with/for both Ale and Felipe.
Conchita was so annoying: what does she not get about not touching Porfirio's painting when he is telling her right to her face?? Granny Perpétua's "meticheness" must have rubbed off on her.
Loved the interchange between Granpappy Porfirio and Jacinto. Unfortunately for Granpappy, Jacinto is now old enough to notice the reluctance of Granpappy to say anything about his wife. (Back to the refrito: Conchita referred to Granpappy's wife as "la difunta que se murió"--the dead one who died").
Diana, I am definitely ready for more Margarito!

I guess I'm going to be the downer here, but I didn't like last night's epi at all. Carmen disgusts me. Facu has played into her hands all these years and no matter who she ends up with, if she can't get her way, it will always be the cutesy, whiny, por fa until she gets what she wants. Didn't like the whole dance scene, and what the heck was Feli doing anyway? Didn't like the Estef and friend (enemy?) battle scenes either. Yes, Marta that was a strange transition from the gym to the cafe.
Ok, I've had my say. Can't like every single epi, and I have enjoyed this tn overall. The F&F battle should be good on Monday.
Lola
Jarifa, I am not convinced Santi has another construction company in the works either. I'm sure he has something brewing but not sure it's on the "up and up". Guess we will wait to see.
Lola, you are always entitled to your opinion and to voice it here. You made a good case as to why the Carmen character was annoying. Is she spoiled? Yes! I just looked at the scenes from a different perspective - that of the actors, not the characters. Carmen is definitely daddy's little girl.
Diana
I also loved the incessant "por fa" scenes, but I will say Lola that I have not been thrilled with this week's episodes. They've seemed so cobbled together and all over the place...like Isa on her pills. And Diana is probably right....the lack of Margarito and Susana have made it worse.
Alejandra did look lovely last night. They've put a little more makeup on her and she is looking older. I wonder if they will do the same with Susana.
The gardener is my favorite character on AI3 (good one Nanette).
Jarifa: I don't really pay attention to business storylines, but I've even gotten the idea that Santi is definitely up to something shady.
I hope you get a chance to watch, Vivi!
I forgot to say earlier that I hope the discovery of that envelope leads to some interesting developments.
This has been a good show, but I feel like maybe there could have been less Isa and more Porfirio, Beto, Rocío, Diego and Maria.
Does anyone else catch themselves singing Amor imposible imposible imposible?
Feli definitely ratted out Carmen. He says he was worried, but really what was he worried about. He knew she was with Diego, and all they did was go to a fashion show. Not a big deal and none of Feli's business. Fac and Maria are only upset because Carmen only has permission to go to dance practice with Diego.
Sara- I too sometimes have the AI3 song pop into my head. I found today's installment funny. The gardener has the same power to skulk out in the open as Hilda. It's funny how the protagonist is upset that the galan dared to kiss his wife--but now she's ok because he was drunk when he did it, and everyone knows men can't be responsible for anything they do while drunk. *wink, wink*
I think I saw Africa trying not to laugh at the beginning of the "Por fa" scenes. Carmen is way to old for it, but the actress seemed to be having a great time pretending to be 5. She really outdid herself.
That said, I think he is desperate. Doesn't excuse what he did, but competing with Diego is rather tough...He has nothing else to bargain with rather than squealing on Carmen. Diego holds all the cards - looks, charm, personality, etc. so Diego will need to be very creative. I hope he uses his good heart to his advantage. It's his best and most endearing quality.
Sara, agreed - Carmen did a great job. Thought I saw stifled smiles from both Africa and Eduardo. And, the comments he was making were so cute. I wish he had more opportunity to be his cute, adorable self rather than the angry, chauvinist character he was given. There are still weeks to go. Hoping for a major character transformation.
Diana
I don't really think Isa is qualified to be giving advice to the lovelorn. And this business about "Fight for your love" -- I imagine that's what stalkers think. And Felipe is just not attractive, not because of his looks, but because he's desperate.
And Carmen, besides being gorgeous, what does she offer? She's annoying and screechy. Diego, you can do better!
Hilda, at least, has finally realized that Beto is just not that into her, and has decided to move on.

It's Monday! Normally this would bother me but it means my shows are on! How bad is it that I also stockpile episodes of a Chilean TN and yo no creo en los hombres so I have TNs to watch on the weekend?
I'm not an addict. I can quot whenever I want.
I've developed a real affinity for coconut...never cared for it until about 6 months ago when I had a cupcake with cream cheese frosting and coconut. Still salivating.
Diana
TNs are non-caloric and inexpensive (free actually) ;). The camaraderie lightens our spirits and hearts. We are able to vent and share without judgment.
If this is an addiction, I'll freely admit to it.
Diana
LFMB was before I started watching TNs, Jarifa. :( I've seen bits and pieces on the Tlnovelas channel and it looks so cute.
Lichita looks like it is similar, but I hope it's different enough for people who have seen LFMB.
It's almost time! Can't wait to see what the Carmonas are up to tonight!
