Caray, Caray!

Roberto and Mateo talk about why he is not bf of Alicia if he loves her. Roberto explains that he does love Alicia and eventually that is a possibility that they will be together, but for now he is focused on Mateo and for the two of them to be together for good.
Alicia talks on phone with her mom. Elsa wants to know about her and Alex being an item. Alicia will explain later or tomorrow. Then we see her 'seeing' herself in the manequin with the red dress.  She interprets it as a signal from destiny to 'show the world who i am'.
Alicia later on phone with Alex, asks him for 'a favor' in exchange to 'fake' being an item.
We see the next day Luciana coming to the office and finding Alicia sitting on "MY" desk!! Alicia happily announces to her that she is now the Creative Director for the Oki Oki account. Luciana has an internal combustion with her facial expression. Luciana claims Alicia cannot use irony or practical jokes... Alicia says she is very serious, this is the promotion she deserves for her efforts and years of work.  This is the place that is rightfully mine.   Luciana calls her cow poop and drags her out to hallway by the ears.
She causes an even louder scandal and everyone, even Elsa, notices and is listening.  Augusto whispers something to Alex's ear...  Chuchette and Nestor of course joke about ALicia's claims after Luciana announces them.   Luciana demands explanation of Augusto.  Augusto is about to support Luciana... (sikes!)... he says Alicia is right. ALex also supports ALicia's claim.  Luciana gets sad puppy tone and asks what future is ahead for her. Alicia says 'if you let me put my 2 cents she can take the dog food account.   She surely has good ideas for food for dogs and female dogs (perras). Luciana grinds through her teeth that the only 'b' is her...  Alicia tells her after everyone has left that she just paid her with the same move, except hers is with 'white gloves'.
Sandra gets Augusto in private and tries to get confirmation that ALicia's sudden promotion has to do with the 'rumors' that ALex is gay.   HE denies the 'rumors'  and yes, Alex and that 'employ-dilla' are indeed dating.  ALex comes in, says to Sandra he wanted to give her a heads up but Luciana got ahead of him with her rant.  Sandra properly wants rationale for the promotion.  ALex says why don't we evaluate everyone's role and possible promotions? Augusto firmly tells Sandra that she needs to order everyone to treat ALicia according to her new title.
Elsa talks to Alicia and Magos in private... Elsa says she could not be happier for her promotion but of course as a mother it kind of revolves her belly hearing everyone thinks her promotion is due to the rumor that her bf is gay.    btw, how come ALex is your bf now?
Roberto tells ALicia he is more than in agreement with her promotion, what he is a bit feeling odd about is the rumor that she got it because of her status as Alex's gf.  Are you with him for the promotion?  She claims it is his same move with Luciana. He says 'by now even if i told you my whole story you would not believe it, right?' She says life is ironic... she was dying for this title, which is what she studied and worked for... then changes the subject to ask if he needs anything from her 'work-related'. she reminds him that their 'interaction' is purely business related.
Augusto is head wrestling ALex... Alex reminds him that Alicia was overdue for this role.   Augusto says between the two of them they will keep her there... In comes Luciana ranting... demanding justice... She demands he take the promotion back in this moment (even snapping her fingers like he uses to do)... he yells at her even louder 'who do you think you ARE???'   She yells 'YOUR NIECE!!! and by the way! the one that knows exactly what happened in THAT ACCIDENT!!!'   Alex asks 'what accident?'  Augusto throws it under rug... but ALex asks Luciana if 'this has to do with the secrets the Toledo y Mondragons have, including my dad?'   Luciana asks Augusto 'does it?'
Roberto repeats to ALicia he is happy for her... esp with the Oki Oki account... she reminds him he had promised it to her.  He tells her Luciana planned otherwise...  Alicia asks him if he ever intended to fulfill the promise.  HE ironically tells her 'no doubt that my word means nothing to you now'.   She gives him the Oki Oki account folder.   He notes to her that she is now relating to him as 'tu' vs Ud, you are always thinking the worst of me'.  He leaves sad,  But she whispers that 'what matters still is that even with my promotion you are still my boss and i can't forget that.'   He makes a u-turn and with a yearning tone says her name like begging her to give him a bit of a chance...  she is the one that turns around and leaves... leaving him with a sad puppy face [that i feel like hugging 'there there']
Alex asks Augusto what is the mystery.   Augusto undermines it, saying it is unfinished business in Buenos Aires (you go Augusto!!)... and says 'maybe she has to go fix it personally'.  Luciana of course backtracks her aggressiveness, grinding her teeth (boy this family does have HUGE Secrets, right?) She hopes not... what about Lichis taking my spot?   ALex demands respect for his gf.   Luciana calls her dull and bland.   Alex gets more irritated and demands her not say one more insult for Alicia.

At meeting room Alicia suggests a campaign slogan for the instant coffee 'en un dos por tres' (a spanish phrase meaning 'in a flash') but Sandra doesn't like it at all. Some other guy in the table suggest a similar slogan 'in the blink of an eye' (Alicia is appaled quietly, giving them her back) and Sandra loves it (of course this suggests Sandra is NOT behind ALicia's new role). ALicia claims she was suggesting it first. (but we don't see the response to that)... meeting goes on... now they are talking about the mattresses... Alicia says she does not think they need to record a new animatic (video clip), Sandra again goes 180 degrees against her, excited says they will ... Roberto notices this 'vibe' from Sandra in the meeting.
Alicia later talks to Sandra alone in conference room... claiming respectfully she has the experience for the role and knows how advertising process happens... Sandra says 'we will see if you can carry the role... for now go work on the proposals that you made in the meeting. Those that 'according to you', I rejected.' I want a formal presentation on my desk tomorrow.  Alicia says that means i would need to work all night here in the office since i don't have the resources at home.   Sandra basically says 'you asked for it', you better get ready to say goodbye to your new title.

Alicia asks Alex for them to be the 'good friends we were before'.   But the door was open so Roberto and Chuchette come in, it shows ROberto was attentive so maybe he did hear, Chuchette... no way.
Chuchette tells ALicia that there is a social magazine that wants to come interview her this week.   Alicia corrects CHuchette to call her 'Alicia', not 'Lichita'.  Alex nods in agreement with ALicia's attitude.
Nacho with Alicia on phone, he is jumping for joy for her new promotion. he knows she will have to stay the whole night at work... Ximena asks Nacho if Alicia will stay working all night.  Nacho says everyone hold on, Alicia will get all the credit she deserves and we will throw a surprise 'pachangon' (party!!).
Bea announces to AUgusto that Valeria, unlike leaving back to Argentina like he expected, is going to be their guest at their house... Augusto has an indigestion facial reaction.
At the house, Gumaro is painting the walls for Mateo's room... cute pirate picture... Roberto is saying his blues about seeing ALicia and Alex together... Gumaro suggests Roberto accept the fact that they are 'dating'.   even mentions 'that painter' (Van Gogh) and cut his ear off and mail it to her (LOL!!)
Roberto admits ALicia is the only woman that has made him feel something so strong, but her turn-offs of late are hurting him.   and her relationship with ALex is very suspicious. he thinks it is fake.  Gumaro wants him to paint and stop his blues...
At orphanage, the potential adoptive couple have thrown a party for Mateo... however, she calls him 'Angel' (the name of her natural son that died). Mateo notices and asks why she called him that way. SHe comes up with excuse that she sees him as an angel.
THe security guard comes by ALicia's office.   they have small talk jokes... just turn the light when you leave...  she is on the computer telling herself if the 'licenciada' (Sandra) does not like it, she better.   Morning comes. Sandra does not like Alicia's work... or her ideas. ALicia tries to vow for her ideas... Sandra tells her 'i frankly see you too green (novice) to carry an account on your own'.   Roberto comes in and notices the heavy atmosphere. Sandra leaves angry and won't even listen to why ROberto needed to talk to her.  He tries to give ALicia some support words, but then gets sarcastic saying 'you only need for your bf to give you the support and you're there'.  ALicia is irritated at the comment and says she wants to succeed on her own work, no need for ALex or anyone to back her up.  (She tells us that to win Sandra over she will need some reinforcements).
Elsa again questions her and ALex relationship. IS it true or you are only using him?  Alicia says its real.  Elsa asks if she forgot Roberto so quickly.  Alicia says she barely remembers Roberto.
Chuchette notices Luciana has moved her furniture (the sofa is upside by the door... Chuchette's lamp is a mini bathtub LOL i love it!) and will share an office with her now.  (I cant help but laugh at the deco and colors in Chuchette's office, mainly the white lighted lips on red circles on the wall). Luciana notices she has binders of the articles promoting the relationship between Alicia and Alex... questions her on it. then complains that Chuchette's chair is uncomfortable but she is now convincing CHuchette it is convenient they share an office, and i will tell you why.
Roberto and Elsa converse in hallway as he drinks one of her products...  HE slips that he knows that Elsa is about to open a small coffee shop... HE tries to come up with Magos as excuse... Elsa gets him to admit that he is the anonymous 'investor'. Elsa puts her hand on her forehead (things are getting really complicated, aren't they?) He explains about his situation with Alicia... Elsa knows the story (from outside).  He admits that if they are not together is because of some misunderstandings. Elsa says that is solved by communication. HE says yes, but it is not the right time for the explanations, but he does swear to her that he does love Alicia.  Elsa does not know what to tell him.  SHe does promise they will pay him asap. HE begs her not to tell any of this to Alicia. HE pleads...
Alicia and Elias are taking a walk together...  she says she came for some advice... he says all this time he has been locked up (in a nut house) has helped him see thinks from a different angle, and appologizes for treating her bad and not recognizing her talents.  She says she won the title of CD but Sandra has been really rough and unsupportive with her.  He says Sandra usually supports her people even if she is a bit cold in relationships.  Alicia tells him out of camera how she got the title... HE says 'there it is!' Sandra hates for people to go around her authority! You have earned the title with your work... but how can I advise you?  'dont you see I am NUTS???!'  (LOL!)  ALicia tells him he knows Sandra the most (even in bed, he and her were an item for long).  How can ALicia gain Sandra's respect?  Elias asks 'are you the most creative person at Iconika?  (ALicia says well... maybe)  he gets her to repeat that she is the most creative. He says 'that is what you need, to believe it yourself!'
Brisas tells Braulio that she thanks him for hosting her this time... he wants to give her a hand... she asks it to be both hands... double hand shake 'like... double like'. Cute scene of friends...
Some investigator tells the potential adoptive mom that Roberto can get really explosive violent reactions when he gets angry (there was an episode of this while he was in jail)... he can lose control easily.  She says 'with this we will be able to fight for the custody of Angelito!'
At conference room they are asking the dog food company owner if he got his wife's approval on the campaign.   they guy says the wife approved with some changes... ALicia says Luciana, the campaign lead can handle it.  Luciana rants a little with some inserts of the word 'perra' (b) of course intended for Alicia.
Sandra cuts to the point and asks the guy if they have or don't have the account.   The guy says the dog food brand is now 'international' and is marketed and distributed in all latin america. This expanded scope totally changes Sandra's demeanor... she is more than willing to go with any changes his wife has made now...
At reception, Magos is gossipping with the girls, says Fatima is on to her about her side business of pirate merchandise... the girls say don't count on them as accomplices, they are just 'clients'.  Fatima comes by ranting that it is the 3rd time this week that they transfer calls to the wrong place.
Back to the conference room, Luciana tries to switch accounts with Alicia assuming an authority to do so.  Roberto tries to turn her down, saying the accounts stay assigned as they are... but Sandra says to Luciana that since she claims she has done the work, now she is creative director of MiCan account AS well as Oki Oki.  ANd with that dagger she leaves them.
At the house, at dinner, Bea is mortified with the relationship between Alex and Alicia.  Luciana milks it for all its worth, painting Alicia as a corporate climber.
The HR nasty guy is with ALicia, he has not been notified of her promotion so does not buy the ki-ki-ri-ki (rooster call) request. Hands her the binder and sends her away. But at that moment Fatima comes in with the right memo, trumping the guy. Alicia smiles wide. (at least Fatima is on her side).
Fatima tells them both that there is birthday cake (for Sandra) at reception... Alicia leaves his office excited that she finally has the raise they need.
Birthday song... Sandra is not in the mood... But she blows the candle anyway... At that moment in comes Elias... announcing his return to Iconika! 'I bet your wish was that I return to Iconika!  Right?

The potential adoptive mom (Senora Marta, thank you Mateo for telling me) yells loudly at the agency lady that Roberto is still in the run even though his history as criminal or temper explosions...  (the kettle calling the pot?) The agent tells her she can't come in and out any time she wants and also she can't yell at her... (Mateo comes and greets Marta, she hugs him but a teacher comes for him) Marta backsteps her attitude saying she has to bring the kids the food... the agent says you don't have to... and you don't have to come in and out anytime...  Another teacher takes Mateo away... Marta begs 'Sra Velusa' to let her bring the food this time and she will leave without causing trouble.
Back to the office. Elias confuses Luciana (opening his mouth at her looks) as the new receptionist (LOL!)  Luciana offended demands someone explain to him who she is! After an initial reaction of satisfaction, Alicia explains to Elias that Luciana is the niece of Augusto. Elias is entertained to learn that she is 'The niece of Mr Dragon!!" (LOL!)  Sandra drags Elias away.
Now Alicia has Bea in her office, Bea demands to know what is the reason for her relationship with her son, she says 'i don't get it no matter how many crosses i do' (she does the sign of the cross on her face with her hand, a catholic tradition)... (takes the framed picture of Gutierrez family and puts it face down on the table) all she can think of is that she is cashing on the favor she did for Daphne.  Where did the sudden love for my son come from? btw, my son is too high for you... I doubt he is really attracted to you.  ALicia asks if she is so surprised that her son has different 'tastes' than hers.  Bea says she only came to tell her that she has not got her fired yet because of her husband, but don't provoke her, she can have her fired any moment.
Valeria comes in to join them.   asks what is going on.  Alicia tells her they were only conversing now that Bea knows ALex and her are dating.  Bea repeats to ALicia that she does NOT approve that relationship. God bless you (with smile on her face... this woman at times reminds me of Rosa Elena from Refugio, talk about hold the dagger with white gloves).
Alicia fixes up her family picture frame back up.
Augusto, Sandra and Elias are in Augusto's office. Augusto wants to know what Elias wants to do now that he got out of the nut-h.... the psych clinic... Elias says he has evaluated several options but recognized that advertising is his 'trade'.
In conference room and with everyone there, Sandra announces that Elias is back as 'creative consultant'.  Roberto questions 'as consultant or to get his old job back (Roberto's current job)'?
Sandra explains he will be a creative resource, but the final say is still Roberto's as they have done.
Elias explains that almost everyone knows him already. THe one that doesn't (stares at Luciana) will soon know me. I want to let everyone know i now am a 'free spirit'. I will only provide advice, it is up to you if you want to act on it or not.  HE tells Sandra she can't complain, this is an excellent b-day present... congrats!
At orphanage, Mateo is being called by teacher. he is again talking to Marta (this time seems in hiding).  Marta gives him an angel doll (this woman is SICK!!!) for Mateo to sleep with.   HE gives her a grateful hug. She promises to come visit him again soon.
At office, Elsa and Alicia are very reluctant to let Magos' friend 'ReJerry' handle Elsa's cart... Magos says she will give him a hand if he gets stuck.  Elsa still really not feeling up to it.  Elsa and Alicia see him chewing guy with open mouth... Elsa asks ALicia 'see what i see?"
Fatima in front of Sandra has to handle another mis-transferred call (meant for stockroom instead of general direction). she tells Sandra it might not have been a good idea to put Magos at reception.  Sandra gets alarmed... have those mistakes caused a problem at the agency?  Fatima says well, not really but some info about finances, AP and balances was told to staff who don't need it...
Sandra has Magos transfer her call to Augusto's cell... (phew! she did that one right!) But AUgusto is not happy with her using the company phone to call his cell instead of her using her own cell... she gets flirty and says she needs to see him.
Magos is again getting herself and the new guy ReJerry in trouble, planning to get her own merchandise back in the office... asking for his help.
Magos leaves ALicia in charge of reception while she shows Jerry something... ALicia reluctant, she does not know how to handle the phones there...  MEanwhile Sandra is still flirty with Augusto on phone and puts him on hold...
Alicia is talking with Valeria at reception. phone rings... ALicia goes to get it... of course she ends up trying to transfer a call from Sandra to the TyM mansion but listening to Sandra's wish list for her birthday from Augusto... including as a headliner to divorce Bea and marry her... (Alicia is able to put her hand in her mouth to control her surprise...
previews: They are setting up for the preview in society of Alicia as gf of Alex.  But Luciana and Chuchette manage to spoil it by locking up ALicia so she won't be able to go out to meet the press...
