Caray, Caray!

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving yesterday and are enjoying those Black Friday deals today! 
Lets get on to the show as the people of Iconika did not slow down with their shenanigans due to the holidays.

Alicia decides to tell half truths to her mother and does a bad job of convincing Elsa she is not marrying Alex for purely business reasons. To Alicia's credit she admits that she is not in love with Alex but he is basically like a best friend. Elsa tries to reason with Alicia that marriage is hard enough as it is. You need to find someone that you can see as your husband...etc. Alicia eventually cuts her mom off saying that she knows what she is doing. She made her decision and Elsa cannot talk her out of it. Elsa walks away with tears.

Luciana is having one of her wash, rinse, repeat scenes with Don Augusto about getting back at Alicia. She wants her humiliation to happen like yesterday and for Beto to go far in the company. Even Don Augusto is tired of her antics and puts her on a timer.

Don't you want to just pinch my cheeks. I'm so cute!

Today, Alicia starts her first day as the general creative director which comes with moving to a brand new office....Roberto now old office. He does not mind that he is moving as he will soon be spending less time at Iconika and more time at API helping Alex with his presidency. As usual they get into an argument about about the usual. Roberto wants to know how far she will go to get where she wants. They commence into a fighting match, like kids, about which person is more horrible.

Sandra calls a meeting with the creative directors, minus Alicia, to make it clear that Alicia she not be given special treatment even though she is the fiance of Alex. She basically wants them to make her job harder...not to help her...etc.

Fatima asks Alicia why she is not at the meeting when all the other creative directors are there. Alicia joins everyone just as Sandra ends the meeting. Alicia holds Sandra back to try to clear things with her. However, Sandra is not ready to let the chip on shoulder thaw. Sandra tries to put Alicia in her place foreshadowing that she has her work cut out for her. Alicia does not cower.

Chanclas is at Elsa's coffee place wanting to help out. Nacho gets mad at Elsa for having Chanclas run an errand at Iconika. Chanclas arrives at Iconika and is impressed. Chanclas looks like he is casing the place. He finds Gerry who shows him around including Sandra's office. Chanclas tells Gerry that Magos wants him to bring the merchandise to the bathroom in 15 minutes (she actually said she will meet the girls in 30minutes).

I know I know...I should get over my love of 16 year old prom like dresses.

Fatima gives Alicia decades worth of portfolios to review. Alicia is wondering how she will get all this work done in addition to the current cases. Later Elias comes by to give her a pep talk while she loses the bravado she displayed in front of Sandra.

Sandra is on the phone with a client when she sees a note on the door. We are not privileged to what the note says but she does not look happy. She goes to the bathroom and sees Gerry with the girls and the hot merchandise....BUSTED. At this point everyone decides to walk in including Fatima and Magos. Gerry ends up taking the fall for Magos.....he tells everyone that he betrayed the confidence of the Guiterrez family and tried to seize what he thought was a great opportunity.

Roberto has a heart to heart with Don Augusto. He seems to want to backtrack the wedding announcements but Don Augusto the master manipulator does not want to hear such things. He wants Roberto to show up to the house tomorrow to formally announce/declare Luciana's hand in marriage.

Did I ever tell you look like a bottle of Pepto Bismol?

Alicia holds a meetings with the General directors. However, no one but Luciana shows up. Fatima comes in to tell her everyone is busy. To Luciana's annoyance Alicia and Elias go over every little detail of the campaign. To her happiness, her mother stops by to talk to Luciana and she escapes the meeting.

Don Augusto speaks with Valeria. She wants him to make up with his half brother now that Luciana is getting married and all. He gets into a rage....why should he make up with his brother? When their father died he left HIM all the money and poor Don Augusto lived in misery. The argument gets broken up when Sandra walks in with "important business".

Alicia is having hard first day at work. She tries to advise the directors but they do not listen to her. They make themselves unnoticeable when she looks for them and play jokes on her....how unprofessional and high school.

Don Augusto wants Sandra to make up a position for Luciana. She does not understand why he has a change of heart for her. He finally tells her that he is the father of Luciana. He needs her to be discrete and understanding. Sandra is happy that he confided in her and should have done so sooner. She happily will make a position for Luciana and will treat her better now (wow if that is not being a hypocrite I do not know what is). Don Augusto laughs at how easy it is to pacify Sandra.

Alicia finds out from Braulio about the true reasons for Sandra's meeting in the morning. She gets mad and realizes that being the fiance of Alex will not get her respect from others. They do not have the last word though...she will show them who she is.
