Caray, Caray!

The guy from the board that Alicia just saved from choking says a toast for Alicia … Roberto and Alex take notice… Of course Luciana whines and rants about all the attention Alicia is getting when she got a piece of bread thrown at her chest… Augusto whispers to Alex that this is a significant moment…


Magos and Ximena converse about whether Ximena liked the ‘guero’


Alicia and the board member guy dance… Another board guy comes and wants to dance with Alicia as well. He talks to Alicia about her desire to continue and expand her advertising career… he agrees that the API is very related to that… another board guy comes and wants to dance with her as well. They all have a different subject to do small talk with her… Roberto still taking notice from a few feet away… The guy talks about Alicia’s drive to grow her career… Roberto finally has had enough passive attention and comes and cuts off the other guy to dance with Alicia… he is a bit sarcastic in his comment about all the attention Alicia has got.


Luciana and Chuchette comment on Alicia’s dancing and dressing skills… they say even though she looks fine, she can’t dance or behave elegantly.


Alicia and Roberto still dancing but arguing… basically he is jealous and she is trying to defend herself. He is trying to control his impulse to kiss her… she rants ‘don’t you dare’. She notes to him that he once was behaving totally the opposite with her.


Augusto sits with Bea, they also have noticed Alicia’s attention by all the board members. Augusto gives her a bit of a speech about the ‘image’ they should present to everyone… then they ‘fake’ embracing for everyone and the press flashes all over.


Now it is Luciana dancing with Roberto… of course she likes the attention from the photo flashes… He wants to hear more about Alex’ accident… she won’t say anything beyond what he knows.


Alicia and Alex are dancing too… she is afraid that when the ‘fake engagement’ ends, they will end up labeled as liars…


At the office Braulio and Brisa are talking… she gives him two months worth of rent money. He says he is surprised at her remembering the rent and her accuracy.


Back to the party… The board leader is giving the press a speech. Alex takes center spot and asks Alicia to join him. HE gives a speech about advertising 101… and the challenges facing them…. Suddenly something is going on… everyone is eewwing and awwwwing… Alicia suddenly looks down and gets freaked… Bea brings her a coat to cover up… (?? Not sure, my guess is someone spilled something on her and made her like she had an ‘accident’)


Back to the office… Brisa says that with her rent payment, she has the right to claim half of the space… he feels deceived…



At the party, later at the table, Alex tells Alicia that it could happen to anyone… it was an accident. Luciana is not sold on the accident… she thinks Alicia did it intentionally to call the attention to her. Alicia says she is ready to go home… Alex offers to take her but Augusto orders him to stay. Roberto offers to take her home. She and Roberto walk away… she is visibly embarrassed. As they walk by CHuchette, Alicia gestures disgust to her and Chuchette laughs it off when they leave.


Roberto and Alicia arrive at her house curb. She thanks him… he jumps out of the car and tells her she did leave a great impression to everyone at the party. He tells her if he were her bf, and saw her with ‘this dress’ he would… (leans on her). She shakes him off ‘but you are not my bf!’


Next day Roberto is visiting Mateo at the home. They talk about their plans to soon go to the beach. Mateo asks which girl will he bring along? Some other boy hits Roberto with a big ball… Roberto suggests they play Roberto and Mateo against the rest of them.


At Jimenez Manor, Ximena and Alicia are doing dishes together… Ximena tells Alicia about Magos new guy friend… Ximena wants Alicia to take her to the business spot of Elsa’s (the café).


At Augusto’s house, Bea, Daphne, Luciana and Valeria are having breakfast together. Luciana of course tells Valeria that Alicia was a bit ‘indecent’ behaving. Bea is of course rather in constant prayer…


Elsa on phone with Alicia. Elsa says rather they don’t come over… they are all messy painting. She will explain … (because Roberto is helping them paint). Elsa hangs up but lets Roberto know she does not feel ‘right’ in lying to Alicia. Roberto assures them he is only trying to support them.


At office, Alicia comes in… is welcomed by some smarty comments about the party by Nestor. She won’t buy any of what he is selling. She is Alex gf whether anyone likes it or not. Nestor backs up a bit…


At school, Daphne has to walk by girls talking about what happened at the party last night, she rolls her eyes.


At office, CHuchette and Luciana are trying to make fun of Alicia. Alicia warns them that she knows her ‘accident’ was their doing. Luciana says ‘I warned you, you would not last long as Alex’ gf’. Alicia defends herself telling them they don’t know her yet and she too will show her chops… She leaves on that note… Chuchette is a bit concerned… Luciana on the other hand is undermining Alicia’s threats. She has a few choice names for Alicia instead.


At the conference room, Sandra, Brisa and Braulio are talking about a possible campaign for Special K as a ‘healthier diet’ for women… ‘a firm[strong] woman’ .


Magos and Jerrys talk about her new guy… and her side business at the office. Once she makes some money she will tell her family about it…


At apt, Gumaro calms down Roberto, who is running late… Gumaro asks Roberto if he knows anything else about Alex’ accident. Nothing yet. Gumaro seems to want to get in trouble again with cars… Roberto warns him not to.


Augusto and Alex talk… Augusto says the board members are all talk… they also talk about how well they all liked Alicia… Alex changes the subject… wants Augusto to put some money in his account… Augusto seems a bit interested/intrigued but agrees with no hesitation.


Magos has ‘guero’ in his office, she brought him coffee. she is flirting around… saying Ximena liked him…


Seems she wants them to have a relationship again of some kind…


At conference room Elias is ‘out there’ brainstorming ideas for some of the campaigns. Travel to the future… travel! Alicia is in tears (not sure why). Again Sandra refuses to review the Oki Oki campaign report. Sandra is even more loud and emotional in her totally going against Alicia’s work… Sandra leaves, Roberto goes after her while Brisa gives Alicia a massage… but Alicia wants to be left alone. She tells us the audience she needed some ‘self-identity’ feature that would make them respect her.


In the ladies room, Alicia is crying, suddenly hears Chuchette and the receptionist girls (not Magos) talking about Alicia and the fact that the engagement to Alex is not official yet. Chuchette says a woman can be ugly inside but what counts is external beauty…


At the house garden, Bea and Valeria talk about Alex chances to get the API presidency… Bea more concerned about his religion and ‘pure thoughts’. Valeria misses her therapist (seems it was a nice looking guy)…


Alicia in her office writing about the oki oki campaign, making it rather personal to herself… Roberto comes in, wants to review the Oki Oki campaign… He tells her not to worry about Sandra, the one approval that counts is Mr Maximoto… he gets close to her and basically tells her she is pretty and talented, they are about to kiss… Elias comes in just in time to break the enchantment… ‘you guys look like you want to play a different sort of games!’ teasing them.


At Jimenez manor, Nacho asks Alicia how her campaign work is going. He encourages her ‘with your talent you will win them all over!’ he will go check on Ximena. Elsa pulls Alicia closer, asks her what is going on with her, what is worrying her. Alicia asks her ‘do you think I am pretty?’


Bea is questioning Alex in his bedroom about his candidacy…. And she asks if he takes time to be with ‘your gf’… She admits that she is not fond of Alicia or of Alicia being his gf. Bea notes that Alicia is the first gf she knows of Alex. She leaves, he looks concerned.


Elsa tells Alicia about her asking her own mother the same thing… very seriously said ‘pasaderita, mija’ (not sure what that means). Elsa tells Alicia that for her Alicia is beautiful, even more so her heart… her kind feelings are a light that glows around her and shows how beautiful she is inside… Alicia hugs her. Tells Elsa that everyone else puts more weight on physical appearance… Elsa repeats that she wants Alicia to hold on to the treasure she has inside… that is what makes you valuable and unique for everyone that loves her. Alicia asks if she has told her ‘I love you’ recently. Elsa says yup but go ahead and say it many times.


Next day Alicia seems more content going into the office. In conference room in front of Elias, Roberto shows they how Alicia should walk around everyone… seems this happens for several weeks since Alicia shows about a dozen different outfits walking into the office at the same hallway.


Later on in conference room Alicia is leading the meeting… again she asks Sandra for her feedback… and Sandra again is uninterested in saying more… Actually before she heads out Alicia again undermines Alicia’s contribution and says the campaign is thanks to Elias and Roberto. Elias follows Sandra out the door… Roberto stays behind to try to encourage Alicia, but since he runs into a security shield from her, he makes a remark of jealousy about her ‘bf’ and walks out too.


Luciana and CHuchette talk… Luciana wants to spoil Alicia’s campaign for Oki Oki, the presentation is tomorrow… Luciana is counting on being about to spoil it since she still ahs a key to Alicia’s office which used to be hers.


Next day is here. Augusto is trying to sound ‘japanese’ to Mr Makimoto… Alicia comes in dressed like a geisha… then goes on to present her campaign, even if Luciana and CHuchette whispered to each other ‘this will be good’.


Alicia’s campaign: Oki Oki ginseng…. Your beauty is born in the heart!
