Tres Veces Ana #54 and 55 - A long lead up to an explosive reveal - the evil queen is banished from the kingdom, but keeps her head…for now

We start with a couple of Llora/Ana Le and Ramiro/Santiago repeat moments. (Aren't there suddenly more repeat scenes in these double episodes at the beginning?)

Marcelo gave a very firm and convincing talk to Mariano’s lawyer friend Samuel. Marcelo will protect friends and destroy his enemies and Samuel better pick a side and fast. Mousy Samuel agrees he is better off on Marcelo’s good side. In that case, Marcelo instructs him to give him the key to the security deposit box and transfer all the money Samuel laundered abroad to Marcelo under the alias they’ve used previously. Samuel will also indeed represent Ana Le in the divorce. Marcelo will get a different lawyer. Samuel will make sure things don’t go Ana Le’s way in this divorce and that Marcelo quickly regains his freedom. Samuel is not to talk to Santiago Garcia. To him Santiago Garcia does not exist. Seems there are a lot of dirty deeds between these two, as Samuel did not even try to argue.

Evaristo is walking around contemplating getting his hands on the second key to the deposit box.

Meanwhile at the mansion Llora is running away from Ana Le, tired of listening to her nonsense. She trips at the top of the stairs and falls down. While Llora is trying to pick herself back up with a hurt ankle, Ana Le watches her from the top of the stairs with a smile and doesn’t even move to help.

Back at Remedios’s Ana Lu mysteriously and Suddenly feels pain in the ankle. Remedios and Susi spent the next couple scenes helping her ice the ankle, while Ana Lu informs Remedios that it is not the first time she feels inexplicable pain and even anxiety, as if in a case of transference of another person’s feelings. Well, this is beginning to sound too coincidental to Remedios, who adopts the facial expression of trying to compute a complicated equation in her head.

Simultaneously everyone at the mansion worries over Llora and whether or not she is hurt. Ana Le makes excuses for not helping Llora up and gives a fake impassioned speech on how she would just die if something happened to Llora. For the first time ever, Llora did not have the tender puppy look and even looked like she wasn’t buying this tale.

Orlando all but cries about mean mean Santiago, who threatened him horribly. Ev is excited about Marcelo’s appearance (no doubt dreaming about that key). Orlando, the true coward, is asking why Ev wouldn’t just kill Santiago – didn’t he provide Ev enough information on how dangerously close to Ana Lu he is. Ev, the master manipulator, in turn tells Orlando to be careful – his life is now in danger.

A charming side effect of a split personality, it appears, is loss of consciousness while changing over to another alter-ego. Santi comes to lying on the ground in front of the lawyer’s office buildings. A very concerned policeman wants to know he is ok.

Meanwhile at the restaurant Evaristo, in a king – or godfather – fashion is receiving the visitors one after the other. Orlando has already put in his two cents and is asked to scramble when Sole shows up. They spend some time arguing whether or not Sole could be considered Ev’s daughter. Sole thinks they are not at all alike: you see, she would like to believe that her only sin has been keeping Ana Lu to herself and loving her, while Ev really is a killer. (Nice selective memory on our would-be-killer/suffering mother). Ev philosophizes on the fact that everyone dies and every day brings him closer to death. Does Sole believe in hell? She does not. Well, Ev does and he doesn’t think that Sole’s mother will be waiting for him there. But Sole will join him when she dies, and won’t that be a party.

Evaristo also wants to know if Orlando is giving Sole any problems. No, he does not. Sole also confides in him that she made a pact with Santi. She is tired fighting that love, and if Santi wants to be with Ana Lu, then he will keep Sole’s secret. Ev is happy with this turn of events – Santi is the only one who can protect Sole and Ana Lu if one day Ev is not there.

Llora, who ran away from worried Leonor and Abue under the pretext of going to the rehabilitation center, is really at Ramiro’s. He informs her that Ana Le has agreed to be his girlfriend and Llora is incredulous that her own sister would do something like that to her.

Ana Le is very happy at the office, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Inaki. He wants to know what’s up and what she had in the past with Ramiro. Ana Le is surprised, as none of that is in the past – they are dating. He was her dearly departed husband’s best friend and so Marcelo would be very happy they are both giving love a chance. Inaki doesn’t believe any of this. He is sure that he, Inaki, is the best partner for Ana Le. She will get tired of Ramiro, and besides, she better start being very careful. Who should she be afraid of? Why, Santiago Garcia of course. Ana Le doesn’t know anyone by that name and is not inclined to go along with this game. Inaki is ready to tell her everything….at dinner tonight. Ana Le can’t swing that – she has a dinner at home that she will not cancel for Inaki. With that, Inaki departs, leaving
Ana Le with the last bit of wisdom in the form of “don’t tell me  I didn’t warn you when you know what hits the fan”.

Spooked by this prediction, Ana Le quickly calls Ev (who is still calmly lunching with Sole). She is annoyed he still didn’t find Marcelo, and now she wants to know who this Santiago Garcia is. He could be connected to Marcelo, or working for him and trying to hurt her. She got the name from a friend. Evaristo is on it, he says.

Abue has come for her check up to Bernardo and everything looks very good. She is in good spirits she says, and soon she will come face-to-face with the person who was gone from their lives for years (she still thinks Ana Le is bringing Marcelo to dinner), and she will confront him. Bernardo tells her to hold her horses, she is not twenty any more.

Santi is recounting all his troubles to Ana Lu. The two victims of a phantom pain and unexplained losses of consciousness try to console each other that none of this is that bad. Neither is having much luck.

Elsewhere at Ramiro’s, Llora tells him all about Tin’s little secret about being involved with Gina and wanting to avenge her death. Llora is upset, because that means Tin never loved her. Ramiro is upset that he is the object of this vengeance. Llora decides she needs to talk to Tin, but Ramiro is against that – no reason for her to do that alone. Llora asks him to stop treating her like she is made of glass, but Ramiro says he never saw her as defenseless, he admires and loves her.

Just the person they are talking about – Tin – is remembering a scene when Gina, dissatisfied with their economic situation, was threatening to leave him. They argue and fight and all of this ends in a very oddly choreographed almost-bed scene that we hope we don’t have to watch again.

Mariano is reminiscing about the trip they took with Llora and what she said about Ana Le and the trap they set for her. Ana Le appears, as if she heard him, and asks cheerfully what he brought for her. Ana Le also moves very fast this episode, because in the next scene she is checking in with Leonor on dinner plans. Leonor thinks it is not too late to go back on all of this, but Ana Le is not interested in Leonor’s opinion.

Dear creepy Tin is staring at Gina’s picture and making coffee for…it turns out – Evaristo! He came to see Tin at his request and is offered coffee. Ev does not like Tin’s coffee. Well, Tin called him to find out why the murderer of his niece Gina, Marcelo, is still alive.

Ev, who doesn’t even bother to take his shades off, gives Tin a “I told you so” and you should have been careful with La Senora Salvaterra. By the looks of it, Tin gave him a sob story of his encounter with Ana Le. Ev’s phone rings and Tin listens to him make arrangements. Who are you disappearing now, Tin wants to know, with an evil curious smile on his face? Ev feigns ignorance. Tin switches gears – he needs info on Ana Le to use against her. Ev doesn’t think it would be necessary – her life is about to become living hell. So her husband is really alive? Tin gets so agitated that he spills the cup of coffee, but luckily for him, none of it splashes onto Ev’s perfectly pressed suit; else who knows if Tin would have lived till the end of the episode.

Ana Le sneaks in to Abue’s room (by the way, have we noticed before that her bedroom is the size of a medium apartment? It’s crazy!). Abue is not there and Ana Le steals the earrings from Abue’s night stand.

Abue, it turns out, is not in her room, because she decided to do some work in the office. Llora finds her there and they talk about Ana Le and her mysterious dinner. Abue, still thinking they will see Marcelo, is being cryptic on lost people, and explanations on why things took the course that they did, and Llora gets very confused. But never mind that, she is here to ask Abue to talk to someone – Ramiro. Abue begins to clear her lungs for a good tirade, when Ramiro sets Ana Lu’s bracelet in front of her. That’s right – he granddaughter is alive, nobody believed him, but he will find her. A round of hugs all around and everyone is happy and in love. Abue quickly forgave Ramiro, she will give him anything he wants if he brings Ana Lu back. All Ramiro needs is Abue’s respect back and Llora. Abue invites Ramiro to stay for dinner and they realize they forgot to mention something. After they explain their little deceit plan to Abue, she is not so inclined to be generous and her voice is back to that shaky timbre. She will let them go through with it, but if for any reason, things don’t work out the way they are describing them, Ramiro will have to leave forever, and Llora will never look for him again. Everybody agrees that is reasonable.

Ana Le is prepping for the dinner with her stolen earrings. She declares that no other woman will ever steal what is hers.

Santi and Ana Lu are having a nice lovey-dovey moment, first at the park, then at the hostel, full of I-love-yous and I-will-divorce-and-marry-you-and-we-will-be-happy-for-the-rest-of-our-lives. It’s cute.

Viridiana shows up at the mansion with gifts for Llora and runs into Mariano there. She is very surprised – she didn’t think to find him there. (We know, what are the odds, Viridiana – such a random place!) Mariano invites her to stay for dinner and talks about time they spent together that week. Ana Le shows up and catches the tail end of that conversation – enough to know that something is going on. She throws a fit that Viridiana is not welcome and it is a family dinner. She is behaving very akin to a jealous wife, and Mariano is offering explanations – they just ran into each other, it was an accident. Finally Mariano excuses himself and Ana Le, and takes her outside to speak to her.

Ana Le claims she is there to protect him and he is not ready to date. Well, that is not her call. Mariano is not understanding what got into her, she should be happy for him. He admires Viridiana and enjoys her company. This sends Ana Le into a frenzy. Mariano is really misunderstanding everything Ana Le is about and finishes this by suggesting she has a lot to learn from Llora.

Llora, in the meantime, ran into Viridiana and took her upstairs to try outfits and help her get ready. Viridiana coaches her and gives her a pep talk on being confident and not hiding her personality. Having helped Llora, Viridiana runs into Ana Le downstairs. Ana Le asks for forgiveness and invites Viridiana to stay for dinner, but Viridiana declines. Mariano is mad, when he learns of it, as he assumes Ana Le drove Viridiana out again.

While Llora was getting ready, Ramiro went to say hello to Leonor, who wants Marcelo’s contact info to ask him something personal. This something personal – Facundo is sitting around in his hermit cave debating whether it’s impossible for Marcelo to be alive.

Santi and Ana Lu are concluding their conversation on mutual agreement not to lie to each other. Santi goes to his room and Sole comes in with a message from Ev. That message is to come see him at some warehouse, where….surprise – he has Ana Le’s lover Daniel, who he caught just for Santi.

Abue and Tio discuss the Ana Le/Ramiro situation – thy are unsure how to deal with it.

Elsewhere Julietta comes to see Inaki and warn him to stay away from her son. She doesn’t want Inaki near her family and Inaki can’t believe Daniel would send his mom to fight his battles. No, says, Julietta  - he doesn’t know. If it is all about Ana Le, she will make sure Daniel doesn’t see her again. After all, Julietta never like her for her son, and if Inaki will permit some advice, he should stay away from Ana Le as well.

Finally the dinner begins. We witness a long wait while all the participants gather, and at last, Ana Le declares it was her fault everyone lost trust in Ramiro. She was mistaken, but not about everything – he never was after their money, but he never loved Llora. He loved her, Ana Le, and they decided to give each other a chance. Everyone is staring at her shocked and suddenly her cell phone rings. It’s Daniel. She picks up to tell him it’s not a good time, but it turns out that it is not Daniel, but instead-  her husband Marcelo!! Collecting herself on a fly, Ana Le excuses herself to take this call and why doesn’t Ramiro just continue the explanations for now.

Marcelo asks her how long she’s known he is alive. They talk about the betrayal, especially betrayal by a loved one. Marcelo has Daniel and Ana Le wants to know if he will kill him. Ana Le is in shock, but Marcelo tells her to go back in and finish announcing her relationship with Ramiro, who – by the way- just tricked her and was in cahoots with Llora the entire time.

Ana Le’s night could not have gone any worse. With tears streaming down her face she comes back in to witness the scene of already reconciled Ramiro and Llora and angry and disappointed Abue and Tio. Abue demands the earrings back – they don’t belong to her, just as much as Ramiro doesn’t. She wanted to steal love from her own sister, Abue is disappointed and doesn’t want to hear anything. Ana Le tries to explain, but Abue asks her to pack up and get out of the house. Banished Ana Le looks at Tio for support, but doesn’t find it. We shudder to think what she will think up next to avenge.

I'm trying hard to play catchup. I watched HDLS late, so I'm a little to the party. I'm only on Episode 10 so Please excuse the interruption. I look so forward to seeing how this version deviates from Carla Estrada's production where Lucero was at her best.

But boy, is Boyer is "hitting it out of the park". I don't know if I look forward to seeing the "vulgar/Sharon Stone" scenes the news is reporting.

The recaps are some of the best and most entertaining I've read. Thanks to all of you faithful guys for recapping this novela when no one wanted to at first.!

Does anyone know or has commented on whether or not it is a double on the dance (re CdS) scenes or did Boyer train as Silvia Navarro did for MCET.!

I'll catch up soon. YAGO IS GREAT, I'M LOVING IT. I just don't understand at all the low ratings for Yago or HDLS. I guess the majority want standard "template" novelas.

Hey, Victoria! Hope you can catch up to us soon. Yes, AB is doing a great job, and yes that's her and Sachi (Maribel) doing their own work on the silks, after lots of training.

Whoa...haven't seen this yet, but couldn't resist reading your recap Ria before running off to work.

"They argue and fight and all of this ends in a very oddly choreographed almost-bed scene that we hope we don’t have to watch again."

Ah, that is pure Ria! Love it when you put in your personal reactions.

Hate to admit it but I find macho tough guy Marcello a lot sexier and more interesting than vanilla pudding Santiago. But still, nobody moves "el tapete" for me like Tio Mariano and his dazzling blue eyes. I'm on Team Viridiana for sure. Want to see that romance develop.

Really looking forward to seeing this after your whiz-bang recap Ria.

And Victoria...glad to see you back. I think of you every time I go down to Charlotte. Such a lovely city.

Ria- Thank you so much for this amazing recap. You got it posted so quickly.

I am totally shocked Ramiro's plan worked. Good for him! Charlie Brown finally kicks the ball. I didn't get Ernestina's attitude. First she forgives all Ramiro's (false) transgressions because he brought proof of life. Then she's ready to freeze him out again because he's taken measures to prove his innocence. But Llora really annoyed me. Without the huge announcement, she already knows her sister has been seeing Ram and lying about it. Yet, she was willing to accept dropping Ram like a hot potatoe again, with no fight, if somehow LetMeGiveMe didn't make her announcement. An announcement she'd already revealed to Leonor. Ram should have been mad about that. It's just a matter of time again before he's in the doghouse and she dumps him again.

I'm sure Let won't be down for the count long. She'll turn things around in her favor, I'm sure. It was sweet seeing her take so many major blows though.

Ria, thanks for the excelkent recap. I loved your wondering if Valentín woukd have survived if the coffee had gotten on Evaristo's suit. Very funny!

Wow! This kept me glued to the tv screen last night. Everything that could went against Ana Leticia last night. It was payback big time and so enjoyable to watch. Of course, Evaristo was at his best. Who will Ana Leticia go running to now that she has been exiled so to speak?

JudyB, Lets get together next time you are in Charlotte. I'm having minor surgery this quarter or next, but it would be great to get together after the first of the year. I look forward to it.

Vivi, you are a treasure-trove of novela info. You always know every minor detail. I don't know how you do it!!!.

Sure hope that Univision hasn't pulled the plug on this one as commented in Episode 10 by Humble Pie. Nothing online about this. We're 50+ episodes in out of ~150 and they stopped production? Oh well, wait and see. UNREAL.

Boyer's crying isn't half as bad as Victoria Ruffo's or Lucero's, but it is getting on my nerves.

Amazing info about Boyer's dancing . !

Hi Victoria! Hope you can catch up to us soon, or join in anyway if you don't mind spoilers. I agree with you that Boyer is doing a fantastic job here, I am very impressed!

JudyB, we are defintely thinking alike on this! I, too, find Marcelo's persona much sexier and more attractive than Santi's lost indecisive self.

Vivi, it's unbelievable how malleable Llora is. First off, she knew this was coming since the first time she realized Ana Le was meeting with Ramiro and lied to her, and yet she kept he incredulity alive until the very last moment. And Abue's ultimatum made no sense - so if something went wrong and Ana Le would have realized she is being llayed and adopted a mid-course correction, Llora would have believed her again? Ramiro must have angellic patience.

Jarifa, this entire episode I kept expecting Ana Le to figure out the trap and back out, so I was very surprised she was able to get it all out at dinner before Marcelo's call. So nice Marcelo (and the writers) had this timing down ;)

So the question is - what is in that deposit box, the key to which Ev covets so much? And it looks to me like they are positioning Marcelo to turn out to be some darker persona, more akin to Ana Le (which would explain why he was ok being married to her), and Santi will have to "overcome" that personality. Let's hope they can make split personality angle not your usual tried and true yawn.

Excellent work, Ria.

It occurred to me later yesterday that AnaLet would likely steal the earrings and I'm glad she was caught and humiliated into returning them. Also glad that nobody backed down when she tried to turn on the waterworks. Her attempt at throwing Viridiana out was too much like a jealous wife that I hope Viridiana saw that and says something.

So where will Ana Leticia go? This might be when she imposes herself on Inaki, who doesn't yet realize that the woman who warned him against her is his runaway mother. That would put her in the same building as Ramiro and SantMarc.

Thanks Ria! Jammed pack episode. I stayed up late just to see the infamous dinner and wasn't disappointed.

Woo Ria!!! Awesome sauce!

And of course, the one night I cannot keep my eyes open and drift off, and AnaLe gets her ( all be it briefly I'm sure.) I plan to catch Part 2 when I get home from work so I can watch those beautiful eye bugging out of her head.

Where she goes?? Reading this thought the same thing. Won't be uncle looks like ( and that probably is going to set her off most of all). I see her playing Inaki very soon now since her other prospects have shriveled. Lord, hope that doesn't turn him to the dark side. And would that land her in the bordering house and HELLO SISTA!

I have to say, I'm really sick of seeing the dweeb Tin weeping over a chick who treated him like crap and wouldn't have stayed with him even if he wasn't hurt. I love Carlos, but this role is grating on my last nerve.

We sure got a major turning point in the plot and flow last night. What's the Bette Davis, All about Eve line--Hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I have a question: Did Gina get murdered or did she commit suicide? I thought she had committed suicide, but maybe I've misunderstood.

I LOVED Abue's reaction to Ana Me-Me and the earrings! I was saying, "Abue, it's about time you started kicking some butt with her!" I loved that scene. She needs to be thrown out of the house for her ugly behavior, I don't know how they have put up with her antics for so long.

As for Evaristo, I am enjoying his "Godfather" type persona. I am now expecting the unexpected from him. He's mysterious and wise all at the same time being somewhat evil. He says he is sick, but I wonder if he will die in the end finally doing something good. It's something to think about.

Oh by the way, I forgot to thank Ria for the great recapping of these two hours. You have such dedication and I appreciate it.

If SantMarc was responsible for Gina's death, Evaristo would have done him in long before this, I'm sure. I wonder what he will ultimately do to Valentin.

Eric del Castillo is having a good time with this role. Love his wardrobe.

It may not be long before Inaki learns that Julieta is his mother. She must have changed drastically for him not to have recognized her, since he is older than his brother.

SantMarc needs to be told about his father. I'm sure that's the next thing on Leonor's to-do list.

I really liked how the whole AnaLet takedown took place. Llora had confided in Mariano, AnaLet in Leonor, and Ram and Llora in Abue. All new exactly what she was going to say and were just standing there waiting for it as AnaLet glowed with anticipation and gloat. Her take down was so satisfying, especially with Marcelo's phone call revealing the truth about the scheme. Also, Marcelo talking about another woman definitely caught her off guard. Of course we know she has to own every man within a mile radius.

I think the purpose of the dinner was to expose Ana Leticia to Ernestina & Mariano, so they would back off of Ana Laura & Ramiro's romance. Without that exposure, Ana Leticia would've manipulated Ernie & Mariano into breaking up Ana Laura & Ramiro again.

In addition, Ernestina saw that Ana Leticia went into her room & took those earrings without Ernestina's permission. Ernestina got to see proof that Ana Leticia was going to take what she wanted (Ramiro, earrings) without any regard to anyone else's feelings.

Ana Leticia also showed herself to Mariano when she threw Viridiana out.

And to top it all off, Ana Leticia learned that Ramiro knew all along that Marcelo was alive (from Marcelo telling her to get back to telling everyone she's with Ramiro now).

Ana Leticia's hit list will be long. She will want revenge on Ana Laura for pulling the wool over her eyes, Ramiro for tricking/playing/rejecting her, Ernestina for snatching her earrings back & throwing her out of the house, Mariano for rejecting her for Viridiana, Viridiana because she's injecting herself into Mariano's life, Marcelo for divorcing her and UNKNOWN WOMAN for stealing Marcelo's affections away.

Plus, she's also got to realize INAKI knew about the situation all along.

-Ramiro thinks Gina killed herself with pills.
-Ana Leticia gave Gina a bunch of pills.
-It was said that Gina actually died of asphyxiation
-Then we saw a flashback of Marcelo pointing a gun at Gina

So we really don't know how Gina died or if she died by her own hands or someone murdered her.

Agree with everybody's impatience with Ana Laura's wimpy belief in Ramiro. But counting on Vridiana to be her Life Coach for a while and stiffen that dweeby spine of hers. We HAVE seen a little more gumption from her lately.

Victoria...Wow. Sounds like you are feeling a lot better. Do hope we can manage coffee and a chat someday when I'm there. For the past year our daughter has been very ill and almost housebound, except for medical appointments. So I'm in the house usually helping with chores or driving the kids to their events. But if nothing else we could connect by telephone which would be fun.

And if my prayers are answered, our daughter will recover soon. Quando hay vida, hay esperanza.

Cynthia, my understanding is that she either was given sleeping pills by Ana Le that were something other than sleeping pills or she was killed by one of Marcelo's men without his ok. Of course the third option could be that Ev is hiding her somewhere. But this might be the situation where we need Vivi to the rescue to help is make sense and remember all the info!

JudyB, I do hope for your daughter's speedy recovery and sending many good thoughts and prayers your way, my dear!

Thanks Ria...it is terribly hard to see our children suffering and not be able to do anything to fix it. Helping with laundry, cooking and cleaning is easy. But sometimes what we really want and need is a magic wand.

Judy, I'm so sorry to hear of your daughter. Bless her, our prayers too she is well soon. You're a wonderful mom!

Thanks for the info on Gina Anon 207 and Ria--I had thought she was another one to add to AnaLe's checklist, but we may be kept personally vague on this one for some major TA DA reveal.

Ria..thanks so much . I have missed the show all week because hubba and I were visiting our daughter and family.

(((Judyb)))..dear friend...so sorry to hear about your daughter, and I will be sending out prayers for her recovery. I certainly understand your wish for a magic wand. Standing by feeling helpless while our children have troubles is overwhelming.

Hi, VIctoria!! Good to "see" you here!

Sorry to hear about your daughter, Judy. I hope she recovers soon. This is never easy.

Since we don't seem to have seen Gina's actual demise or specifically what provoked it I suspect the writers haven't decided on that yet. If Evaristo is hiding her I have to wonder what he is planning.

Hey all! Taking a break from the teens!

Half of the characters seem to believe Gina committed suicide and we saw Let giving her pills to do just that. The other half believe she was mudered by asphyxiation. It wasn't Marcelo because he shot that guy because he thought the guy murdered Gina.

It might be that the murder was made to look like suicide and the real cause of death never made public. Ramiro for example thinks it was suicide. We also know he left the country right after he was told she committed suicide.

If course, there might not have been a death at all and Gina and Ev are yanking everyone's chain.

Vivi (from my phone)

Thanks, Ria. Terrific job. Good to the last drop!

My highlight: Abuela taking the earrings. But I must confess I think Abuela is being too harsh to kick out AnaLe. Where's the unconditional love and helping her nieta work through her narcissistic and lying tendencies? It's not like AnaLe killed anyone (well, she did but Abuela doesn't know that). She just macked on her sister's true love and made a gullible fool out of everybody.

JudyB, so sorry for what your daughter is going through. Having a mother like you in her corner is a blessing. Wishing all the best.

This was such a great recap, Ria! I feel the comings on of arthritis or carpal tunnel lol, b/c our fingers are going to be alot busier with these 2 hr epi's.

I mentioned this on the last recap, so I'll reiterate it here. Multiple-Personality or Split-Personality Syndrome is very different from Dissociative-Identity Disorder (which is what Santicelo is experiencing here). It's very possible. There's more than 1 identity in conflict, and it can come about when a person is traumatized, especially a recovering amnesiac that is recovering an identity that is long forgotten.

I'm so happy that anvil dropped on Ana Loba. I kept expected it to backfire, but once they clued the grandma in, I saw the anvil's shadow.

Gina is most likely alive, but then again it's a predictable plotline so they may just be teasing us w/ the vagueness of her death.

Regarding Ana Laura's reaction to Erni's ultimatum, her face was emotionally-stricken the whole time. As Abue continued to speak, Ana Laura kept turning to face Ramiro for confirmation. He would confirm, then she would nod. Upon discussing the ultimatum, she had a shocked expression & turned to him one last time where he agreed first "Si, Senora" and THEN Ana Laura agreed as well, "Si, Abue". She was following Ramiro's lead the whole time. So we should be upset w/ him that he's being way too valiant & self-abnegating.

I get that he's supposed to be the "martyr hero" (while Inaki will probably have the role of "redemptive hero", Santi being the "evolutionary hero" & Evaristo probably will end up the "tragic-hero"), so I suppose he's more about using evidence to prove his worth, while Santi is more about using his words to fight for his love. BUT STILL evidence only works if the recipients are satisfied w/ the circumstances. Luckily, the circumstances worked out in his favor....for now.

Sigh, this tn is getting heavy. Anywho, I updated my last recap for those who couldn't read my novel lol. I also want to again welcome Virginia, Anon207, Floodgate, Jon, & now Victoria as well! Happy reading :)

Oh & I forgot to say I'm sending good vibes to you JudyB, I'm not a prayer but I'm a believer in positive thinking and wish her well.

You all are so dear. Prayers, for me, are no different than loving and kind thoughts. We wrap them around each other when we're hurting and it helps.

So be it positive vibes, kindly empathy, loving understanding...it's all good. And I thank you all.
