Vino el Amor 11/23/16: # 19 “Deceits, Disappointments, and Acknowledgements”

Tonight's episode is brought to you by Cynthia. Enjoy!

Well there’s a party going on, everyone is slow dancing and swaying to the music, including Luciana and Miguel. Mig keeps telling her how much he loves and enjoys being with her. We also see Sonia dancing by herself in the background, really looking goofy because she is somewhat buzzed. All of a sudden David walks up and in a gruff sounding voice calls for Luciana! Well that killed the party mood and Leon walks over to the CD player and turns it off. Then Sonia comes stumbling forward in her obviously drunken mode to say: “Senor, I SWEAR to you that I didn’t want to! But they convinced me to dance. Please forgive me.” (She hangs her head in shame. What a silly girl.)  They all explain that this was just to relax after finding out that the vineyard was not going to be sold. David tells them it is okay and to go on with their party. But tomorrow he wants everyone available to give their 100%. Miguel assures them that the crew will be there all giving 100%. Then he says to Luciana that he wants to speak with her. She says no, she will talk to him during working hours tomorrow. David finally leaves and excuses himself. Susan and Miguel come running up wanting to know what he said to Luciana. She just tells them that she didn’t know and that she told him to talk to her tomorrow during regular working hours. Luciana tells Miguel she is not going to let anything ruin this night. Miguel and Luciana go back to dancing.

Meanwhile, Juan and Gracie are in his office when Juan asks her, “So what is it that you want with David? Is this about love or other interests?” He comes close and nearly kisses her when Perla barges in to catch them. “Juan!” She yells, nearly coming unglued. Gracie tells her that’s an interesting way to speak to your boss, because she didn’t know that they got along so well. Perla just sheepishly says she just wanted to know if there was anything outstanding that needed to be done before she left. Juan says no, anything else can wait till tomorrow.  So Perla says she was going to go and relax and excuses herself. After Perla leaves, Gracie teases Juan, “Oh Juanito, do you really have something going with that little cheap cat?” Juan says, “of course not!”   Don’t you still want something with me?” Gracie pulls him close as though to kiss him and then says, “forget it!” Perla is fuming and hurt as Gracie leaves. Perla comes back in Juan’s office and says, “So what kind of thing do you have going with Gracie?” Juan says, “Nothing! It was many years ago when we were at the University and you has nothing to worry about.” Perla says, “But you do love her?” Juan says no, but she needs to not enter into his office the way she did. Then he pulls her in for some heaving duty kissing to shut her up.

Next morning, David wakes up to find Gracie in his room, lovingly stroking his hair! With a “WTF” look on his face wakes up and asks what she is doing there. Gracie says, relax, she has a surprise for him. In walk Bobby and Fernanda with a surprise waffle breakfast in bed tray for their daddy. David is overjoyed with his children serving him breakfast in bed and it’s a very happy morning. Fernanda says she made the waffles with Marta’s help. It all ends with David saying thank you to Gracie as he cuddles his children.

At the breakfast table, Fernanda and Bobby finish eating their breakfast with Aunt Gracie and Lillian walks in. She wants to know what the celebration was all about. Well this was for their father’s saint’s day. (Must be March 1st). The children say it’s time to go to school and Lillian wants a kiss from Bobby. Bobby makes a face and says “no, maybe later.” After the kids walk out, Lillian asks Grace what her angle is. Does she still want David? So if she really did want David, why did she leave so quickly after Lisa died? Lillian isn’t easily fooled by Gracie and knows her well and figures she is up to something. Gracie explains that the reason she left was because Lisa’s death really affected her and she didn’t want to do anything bad for Lisa’s memory. Then Lil says to her, “So all of a sudden you developed a conscience?” Lil tells her, “Don’t deceive me. The only reason you are here is because you want something from David.” Gracie says the only thing she wants from David is his love, not his money. Lil just laughs and says, but Gracie interrupts and says, “What is it that you are not going to let happen? David and I are finally together, you won’t be needed. You’ll just have to move back to your place in San Diego.” Lil says, that’s never going to happen. But Gracie counters that the kids have Marta and they have her. They don’t need Grandma Lillian and she will have to go back because there will be nothing left for her to do there.

Out in the vineyard, Susan and Luci are talking. Between discussing how good the grapes are, Susan tells Luci that she needs to clarify things with David and find out what it is that he wants. But Luciana says she has nothing to say to him. But last night with Miguel was just really incredible. And the truth is, she truly loves Miguel. Now back to those grapes.

In another area of the vineyard, Miguel and Tano are walking together talking about the fun time they had last night at the part. Miguel said it was incredible. Tano says he had a nice time with Susan and Miguel is walking on clouds about Luciana and he’s just so taken by her when she smiles.

Luciana finds David outside and says now they can talk. She wants to clarify things and for him to explain why he kissed her. He says it’s because he felt like he was reborn and alive again and he will feel eternally grateful to her. Luciana understands that he’s sincere about this but he says there is more because that was not the only reason. He draws her in and tells her that he really, really, likes her a lot. When he kissed her, it was as though the whole world stopped and it felt like it was just the two of them there. Luci tells him she also felt the same way. They move in for the kiss again. Then Luciana explains that she has a confession to make. That day when she saw him with Gracie, she had a letter she wrote for him. In the letter she had asked what he felt for her. David wants to know why she didn’t tell him. She was feeling confused but now she realizes how much she really LIKES him. They move in for the kiss again and the music begins as they continue kissing….

Luciana asks David where this is all going. He says it is complicated because he has children. But he will always tell her the truth, but he does not ever want to hurt her. Gracie is walking up in the background watching what is happening so she interrupts the conversation. She says she must talk to David about something personal and Luciana walks away. She questions David about his relationship with Luciana and tells her she opened his eyes and helped him with his depression and helped him develop a better relationship with his children. Plus, they work very well together!

Grace is offering David a business partnership plan in the vineyard and she wants him to know that she is offering everything to him. (As she grabs his hands.) He pulls away and asks why. Gracie explains “because we are all family and you all are the only family I have.”

After Grace leaves, David sees Bobby and Bobby asked if he can have Luciana play with him. Bobby says he notices that Daddy likes Luciana and Bobby is quite pleased because he likes Luciana very much too. The two kick the soccer ball around.

In Juan’s office, Lillian and he are discussing their plans and Juan says she her error is costing him. Why in the world would she say anything about their plans to Gracie? Lil says she didn’t say a work to Gracie. Juan still wants to know how Gracie knows. Lillian just says that Grace is very skilled that way and you can’t pull the wool over her eyes.  Lillian wants to know what they are going to do now that the sale of the vineyard fell through. Juan says not to worry, he will make sure that all they want happens and without Grace’s knowledge.

Well, it looks like Sonia is in the kitchen with a headache from her hangover, as she pops a couple of what looks to be Alka Seltzer into a glass of water. Marta tells her that’s what she gets for drinking so much. But Sonia claims she didn’t drink very much, while Marta laughs and says, “yeah, sure.” The old battleax Lillian walks in and yells “Sonia!” But Sonia asks her to please quiet down because her head hurts. Lil tells her “I can’t believe you are looking like THAT! Sonia says, “Me neither, but I didn’t want to do it, they made me.” Lillian says, “I don’t know what you are talking about.” Marta pipes up and says that Sonia ate something last night that did not agree with her, that’s why she had a bad night. Of course Lil says she doesn’t care. Marta says to Lil, “why don’t you let Sonia relax and I’ll cover for her.” Lil then tells Sonia that she doesn’t want to see her in the house looking like that. Lil walks out mumbling about what a mistake…Then Sonia asks Marta why she helped her. Marta responds, “because that’s what people do for each other, they help each other out when they need help.”

Back at the vineyard, Miguel sees Susan working and asks how everything is going. She comments something about the soil, Miguel says he will get someone to work on it. Then she asks him about last night and how happy both he and Luciana seemed. But Miguel says he doesn’t want to just be friends he wants much more. Susan tells him to have some patience.

Back over at Juan’s office, Perla walks in with a file and says that the suppliers need payment and throws it on his desk. Juan goes over to put the blinds down and says, “Don’t tell me you are still angry with me.” He moves in behind her to kiss her neck but she protests about Gracie. He tells Perla that she is the only woman for him and she doesn’t need to be jealous of Gracie. He proceeds to deceitfully sweet talk her to manipulate her loyalty. Later she is at her desk and finds the paper work regarding the 10 kilos of Amber acid and asks Juan about it. Juan gets upset and tells her it’s confidential and to not involve herself in the confidential matters that are his only. Juan tells her if she wants to be the secretary, she has to be his ally and not involve herself in problem situations.

Luciana runs to find Susan at the plant/offices to tell her what David had to say. She is very excited to report that David has the same feelings for her. Then in walks Tano and says he has to talk to Susan and whisks her away to another part of the vineyard and they start kissing. She decides it’s not the right time or place and runs off leaving Tano looking quite confused. He finds Miguel and the two discuss “women” and how difficult they are to understand.

Back at the employees’ home, Leon excitedly waits for Carito with a huge bouquet of roses. She comes in she says thank you and isn’t very excited. He had placed a package of her favorite candy in the middle of the bouquet. She is not so thrilled then drops the bouquet on the floor, calling Leon a dummy and screams angrily that the roses have ants in them. Poor Leon!

Bobby comes running up to David with his soccer ball and they talk about Luciana and Bobby teases his dad about liking Luciana. Meanwhile, Aunt Gracie comes to Fernanda’s room to warn her about Luciana and her efforts to trap her father. Gracie says it must be stopped because you can’t allow her to become your stepmother!

Luci finds Susan in her office and she’s crying because about Tano because she’s just not ready for a relationship. She was in a serious relationship recently and just got out of it and she was very hurt by it. Susan says she isn’t ready to commit yet to something. The two discuss a little and Susan walks away to get herself together and freshen up. Then Fernanda walks in and wants to talk.

Fernanda tells her she wants to forget all the problems they have had. Luci wants to know why and Fernanda explains it’s because of Luci’s mother. She says that Marta is upset that they don’t get along, but Luciana isn’t buying it. Luci wants to know why the change? Fernanda lies and says it’s because Aunt Gracie made her see the error of her ways. Fernanda says she also doesn’t want to lose Marta’s love. Luci agrees that her mother also loves Fernanda. They both want Marta to be pleased with them getting along and Fernanda says she will do her part to get along. David comes walking up and Fernanda explains what they have been talking about. David tells Fernanda that it’s better to get to know someone before you judge that person. Luci says she needs to get back to work so she excuses herself and walks away. But David turns around to Fernanda and asks her what’s going on her and that he knows her very well. He asks “why the sudden change?” Fernanda says it’s just because she talked to Aunt Gracie and again Aunt Gracie helped her to understand that she need to change. Then, speak of the Devil, who should come walking in! Fernanda tells her that she was just telling Daddy that the reason she is changing to get along with Luciana is because of Aunt Gracie’s wisdom and sage advice, and that’s all there is to it. Aunt Gracie saves the day again!

Susan runs to find Tano to explain what happened. She just got out of a very bad marriage. She was in love with him but he mistreated her. She explains how they bought a house together and how he is still giving her problems. Susan says this all has been very difficult on her and she doesn’t know when she will be ready for a relationship. Tano says that not all men are like that and he is sorry she went through such a bad experience. But he intends to be good to her and take very good care of her if she will allow him to. They kiss….

In the evening, Luciana and Marta are together putting things away in the workers’ home and Luci tells her mom about how Fernanda came to talk to her and said they should get along for Marta’s sake. Marta responds by saying she’s very happy to hear this. But Luciana doesn’t believe it because doesn’t think Fernanda is sincere. Luciana knows that Fernanda and Marta feel a lot of affection for each other, but Luciana says that it’s because Fernanda has been there with Marta and grew up there with Marta, not Luciana. Detecting jealousy, Marta explains she did it all for her, sending money so that she could have a good life and a good education. Luciana thought that all this time, her mother preferred Fernanda and her brother. No, explains Marta, as she caresses Luciana’s face, there is no love greater than the love you have for your own child.

Lastly, we see David in his room and he takes a photo of his late wife Lisa. He begins to speak to her and say that he will never forget her and she was the love of his life. But now, he has found another opportunity to be happy again.

Cynthia, such a pleasure to find your excellent recap up so early. Loved the title and the screen shot of Graciela (with a brooding Juan in the background) was terrify.

"Senor, I SWEAR to you that I didn’t want to! But they convinced me to dance. Please forgive me.” (She hangs her head in shame. What a silly girl.)" and "Grace is offering David a business partnership plan in the vineyard and she wants him to know that she is offering everything to him. (As she grabs his hands)" were among my favorites.

"Later she is at her desk and finds the paper work regarding the 10 kilos of Amber acid". Hmmm. Juan may be adept at pilfering funds, but he clearly needs an education on hiding the paper trail when buying poisonous substances. Fortunately, Perla does not seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed so she will likely forget the invoice as she continues to pout and rue Graciela's untimely and undesired return.

While Fernanda is spoiled and can be churlish, I do feel badly as she is being lied to by her aunt, whom she loves and even sadder, trusts. There are fewer things more reprehensible than adults manipulating children, their blood relatives, for their own gain. When David woke to see Graciela, her presence and her touch were both highly inappropriate. But give her credit. She is using those children for all they are worth.

So Susan is just getting out of a bad relationship? That kind of came out of the blue. I see some rather electric chemistry with Miguel. I think they belong together (I know others have mentioned this also).

Luci did look charmed by Miguel, but I can't imagine he was much on her mind after those amazing looking kisses with David.

Yes, poor Leon! Beautiful roses and her favorite candy. How cruel and heartless Carito was. Sadly, it will likely take much more than her rejection for him to realize she isn't into him. At all.

Thank you Cynthia...

I am grateful for so much this Thanksgiving. I have a wonderful family and friends and much, much more. I would like to wish everyone in our Caray Caray family a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. I treasure all of you.

Diana

Ahhh, it' late.

Of course, I meant "terrific" in my initial comment. Certainly not "terrify".

Diana

Thank you Diana, I really enjoyed your comments too!

I would like to wish everyone here a very happy Thanksgiving Day. I am busy in Sacramento with my daughter and her husband. I came up here to be with them because they were going to be unable to come down south to L.A. since my daughter has to work on Friday. I've been enjoying watching these telenovelas at their home and I get to double check with my son in law on the translation of certain words.

I probably won't get to read many comments tomorrow, but thank you in advance for all your input. It makes recapping so much more enjoyable. Thanks you everyone and may you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day tomorrow.

Diana: Leon needs to get the hint that Carito does NOT like him at all. She's a master manipulator!

Poor guy will be devastated when he finds what an evil witch she is!

Cynthia: Fernanda (aka Aranza 2.0) will continue to be manipulated until the very last episode of the TN.

How long before Marta goes off on Fernanda for bashing Luciana ?

Cynthia, thank you for doing this for us and also hope everyone enjoys this time with family and friends.

“So all of a sudden you developed a conscience?”

Hope the show fools me later like it did with Graciela's return cause some things really bother me. In no particular order

Marta did chose her Vineyard family over her husband and daughter. Luciana several times has mentioned how she felt growing up without her mother and honest last night feeling resentful toward Fernanda a little but Marta never seems to really get it. She defends it financially, she dismisses it with biology but I see a closer relationship with the Vineyard kids than with Leon who lives in the same bunkhouse. Marta is an enigma.

I struggle mightily with machismo especially when these shows throw out a catch all disclaimer "I'm a Latin man", like that should either warn a woman or is an excuse for insensitive, grabby behavior. Last night Carlos made his move and warned her with being Latin and was rewarded with an uncomfortable kiss. Though not a reaction to Carlos personally, Susan was brought to tears and later all Carlos had to do was bull through, grab the frightened little doe, and kiss it to make it go away. This is a young unsophisticated guy with no resume but being a male with raging hormones. I travel extensively the world and aware of cultural differences but is this what TN's want to perpetuate as we move into 2017.

Tofie: Don't be shocked if Graciela murders someone else again!

Good work, Cynthia. You caught all the details.

Fernanda is a piece of work and all the adults in that household are to blame for it. Marta spoiled her in different ways from the others because of her own guilt, Lillian and Graciela use her, Lisa amd David may not have disciplined her enough, and for the past two years David had been emotionally absent. I'm amazed that Bobby is as emotionally healthy as he is. Last night we realized that he won't mind if David eventually marries Luciana (which we know is the likely ending).

Carlos is clearly inexperienced or he wouldn't have pulled that move. I'm sure he was trading on the idea that gringo males fall short on displays of passion but he hasn't watched the right movies or telenovelas so he has no game. He's cute, but not sophisticated. He needs to watch some classic novelas and movies starring Ricardo Montalban.

Leon wasted however much money on those roses for a chick who isn't worthy. He's going to end up monumentally embarrassed when she arranges for him to see her chasing Miguel again.

We haven't had a trio of related villanas that I can recall since Mundo de Fieras but I don't currently see equality here. And I hope that David's suspicion isn't dispelled.

Thank You Cynthia. Very detailed. I bailed after the first ten minutes, so it was nice to read what I didn't miss.

You have to wonder how much and for how long '1' and Lil have been embezzling from the company. The initial thought is that it mostly happened while Dave was funking, but in the real world it happens many times fro years before it eventually comes to light.

The smart ones know when to quit and leave before they are discovered. 1 appears to not be one of those. He and Perl are perfect for each other. They are both capable of giving each other sooo much. ....Heartbreak, sadness, despair, STDs, how beautiful.

Though Perla didn't put it together she was clever enough to know something amiss with the inventory. Unfortunate for her she's always loved a thief and cad. If Luciana actually worked perhaps she could dig something up.

I thought Juan was skimming from the start and stepped it up while David was grieving. Graciela overheard Juan and Lilian discussing the embezzlement 12 years ago and Lisa heard the three fighting over it. The threat of exposing Juan is Graciela's ace and I think more powerful, since it could be proven, than Juan's assumption she had something to do with Lisa's death.

Boy, David is all in coming to terms with the ghost of Lisa but Luciana isn't nearly there. The guy has set himself up to be tied in knots, perhaps he and Miguel can do Tequila shots together and exchange laments of unrequited love.

When this finally does come to light -- many episodes from now -- David will be furious. Juan is supposed to be an old friend but instead is a major enemy. I wonder what Juan's background is that he wasn't smart enough to make better grades in school (or was he just lazy?) and what his family was like that he is doing this to David now. Could this be his revenge because he didn't get Lisa?

Both he and Lillian are too greedy to stop now. The attempt at getting the property sold was to be their big score and escape hatch because neither intended to stay in David's life. They thought they could do this without being found out. Unless Juan burns the document about the acid purchase that Perla found last night there is a chance David will find out. I think he's plotting something similar now with the next harvest or the grapes purchased from other growers, so Miguel, Susan, and Luciana will each need another pair of eyes.

Tofie, I agree with your second paragraph. That makes logical sense. It's too bad that Perla isn't smart enough to keep a copy of that invoice to use against Juan when she finally realizes that he has been using her.

A box of rocks with a bra would be more likely to save a copy of that document. Perla seems almost completely out of touch with anything that is not in her tiny selfish world, including her job and the providers thereof.

Thank you, Cynthia! Happy Thanksgiving to you and all Vino patio peeps!

Hey, I'm happy with the hot kiss between David and Luci! I'm glad David and Luci see through Fernanda's getting religion about her and Luci's relationship and I hope David and Luci remain on guard. I especially hope David is forceful next time Gracie is stroking his temple while he's in bed: next thing you know he's going to find her in that same bed in her birthday suit or climbing in the shower with him. I further hope the "keep your enemies closer" plan backfires and Fernanda really comes to get to know and like Luciana. All the other "love stories" are kinda pitiful.

Like your comments on Marta, Tofie. Her loyalties to her own family feel thread bare. I'm beginning to think she will not be repulsed by Gutierez when she finds out who he is. She may well know who is and be more committed to sticking it to Lilli than honoring Marcos' memory.

dyy77 thanks for this somewhat fact finding recap. gracie is lookin at all she has to work with to achieve her evil agenda, getting her slimy murderous hooks into her bro inlaw. And with help from the brat she might get it. lucy better watch out these heffas is sneaky, and deadly. fer may have gotten along with lucy had the evil granny not lied about lucy trying to take lisas place in david heart. But the evil duo has a patsey. I like to see her attitude when she finds out she's being used by evil granny and the murderous auntie spawn. I'm glad to see that papa bear can see his little princess brat is full of it. Now she wants to be friends with lucy.but hes not buyin that smelly bologna shes slicing. Hopefully neither is lucy. lucy & daveeed need is to be together but typical tv/soap fasion there has to be interference, you now that "love in the afternoon" crap. wouldn't be a good tn without that annoyance. Again the story behind lils and martas drama. what is it was she a cheat or wasn't she? if I wonder if gracie knows something a little bit? Anyway whatever. like the old folks used to say, it'll come out in the wash.
Cesar & gracie.....No.
Cesar & susan......that depends on susan's thinking, whatever that is. Will it be on tonight.

Thanks dyy77. Happy Thanksgiving to all :)

Ah Nina, the thanks for the recap go to Cynthia! Thank you for recapping on Thanksgiving!

I left this episode less impressed with Tano and Susan. I'm just not feeling that.

Tofie, I agree, David has sure turned his frown upside down quickly.

Thank you Cynthia, and on a holiday no less, what a dedicated recapper you are.

It's refreshing to A. not have Luciana or Fernanda's father just fall for her apology right off the bat, and B. have our main couple not drag out telling each other their feelings toward each other.

I kept trying to send mental messages to Luciana and Susan to go search Juan's office for proof of the acid purchase when they were brainstorming about what to do next when the phone calls that Susan made didn't work, but they never got them.

One thing I didn't expect, but am enjoying immensely, is hearing our actors speaking English. So far, only one actor is speaking American English flawlessly without an accent and that's Juan. Gutierrez is good, but i still hear a slight accent, and Lilian's British English is humorous to me. I would have thought she could have pulled off an American accent without any problems, but perhaps they didn't care if she spoke with a British one. The other actors are so fun to listen to. Marta's English is quite good.

Well, today, I am giving thanks to Cynthia.

Gracie is going to be a handful. She has looks, money, and apparently no morals. If she can off Sis without batting an eye, she sure looks a lot like a sociopath. Our Hollywood honeys get away with it all the time, hot chick with a lot more money than morals.

Gracie is polished on the surface, and well traveled too, along with what appears to be some artistic some talent. Little Luci against her is like the Taco Bell chihuahua against a werewolf. Could get messy.

toa

some artistic talent. Go away extra 'some'... :-)

Im sorry, thank you cynthia for your recap. I'll
Get used to the new recapers and give Praise where praise is due. Thanks again : )

Well, Well, thinking it an aberration I didn't say anything a few days ago but tofie is happy to see Lila tentatively put her toe in.

I need help with Marta.

Lilian is convinced Marta took her man and I don't see much protest
Marta is willing to endure Lilian's abuse and separation from husband and daughter to remain with her surrogate family
I assumed Marta loved Marcos but for half their marriage they lived in separate countries
Marta didn't seem to know or was concerned Marcos had heart problems
Marta has moved on pretty quick after Marcos death
Marta warns Luciana off rich guys and to settle for a hard working guy that loves you
So, could Miguel be to Luciana what Marcos was to Marta?
Could Marta have loved Lilian's husband or together before they married?
If Marta was around when Lisa and Graciela were children why weren't they close or perhaps they were?

toa, Graciela makes Lilian, Juan, the bad girls (Perla, Carito, Fernanda, Sonia) and Gutierrez look like school kids, Luciana hasn't got a chance. Perhaps the only fair fight would be Graciela and the Coyote but the only person that can stop her is David.

Tofie: Exactly, re: Luci vs Her Amazing Grace. Kill her with kindness aint gonna work on Graciela. That is like Sarah Connor Versus The Terminator (Schwarzeneggar).

You pointed out a boatload of incriminating points about Ms Marta. Hmmm..mystery lady and I don't get it either.

toa

Thanks, Cynthia. Fine recap, with all the details that I missed. I thought Carito dropped the roses because of thorns. But the fact that she deliberately tossed them down because of ants make her worse. You'd think someone who works in the soil would be more tolerant of insects, but then we've never seen Carito working.

I feel bad for Fernanda. Without the interference from auntie and grandma, David could slowly get her to accept Luciana. Fer's a brat but she hasn't shown a penchant for scheming.

So I guess Susan's ex will turn up one day and we'll get to see Tano take him on. Don't know where Susan is at, but I need to know more about Tano before their romance heats up. Is he going to school? What's his plan for the future? Miguel seems to be the only young man with plan at the vineyard.

Cynthia--What a pleasure to read AFTER a busy day yesterday. After reading your recap, I went back and watched the episode again. I wanted to rewatch David and Luci's Patio Talk.

Does Univision think they are endearing me to them any more than they already AREN'T by chopping up that scene? I really didn't want it broken up, what 3 times by commercials AND other scenes when it was far more important to see and hear what they were doing. David practically ate Luciana's lips with that kiss. Not too romantic for just beginning a relationship. I hope Luci remembers his words about never wanting to hurt her.....I hope he remembers them, too.

Enjoyed all the comments. Marta is turning out to be very intriguing. Maybe that's why Cynthia K. was chosen to play her. She must have some deep dark secrets.

Thanks Cynthia - I'm still catching up and might not get to read this till Sunday, but wanted to thank you now before the next episode is on!

Looking forward to the recap from Friday night.

I just hope David realizes he is a TN character, and OF COURSE the missing earrings will be in Luci's stuff.

toa

Anon: Let me guess, Luciana will be blamed for the missing earrings ?
