Vino el Amor - Episode #63-Friday 1/27/2017: Esta Historia te Atrapa--and How
Labels: vino
1.) OJ Mark & Juan cooking up another scheme to ambush El Coyote: good luck with that!
2.) Sonia ignoring Leon ROFLOL.
3.) Anybody want to bet Peter & Carito become end-game ?
4.) FerBrat hugging (groping) Tano LOL. I'm surprised he doesn't know that she's got pictures of him in her room.
5.) Lillian vs. Marta: BORING!
"but maybe he just lost his balance" Ain't that the truth. I can't believe a thing anyone says or does or don't does, though I'm glued to the tube. It's like texting with my 80 year old mother, she responds with the same three emotives to everything without comment though there are tens of thousands available.
And, I noticed last few days Luciana hasn't kissed and played grabby with Miguel incessantly but is that because she's jealous of Erika and punishing Miguel or worries about Graciela and David kissing and he's slipping out of her orbit or rethinking the comprehensive plans they made to marry, enter a business partnership, start a family and San Francisco Miguel or does she want to San Francisco David now, though she rejects his tentative advances? Whats up?
Whew, Susan was only gettin a little freak on with Tano but she needs to tell the kid.
Can't a boy have some quiet time without calling the National Guard. I think Bobby needs a bike and a tree house fort.
A few glimmers of movement in this snail pace. Will Susan's talk with Miguel about her caring for Tano but not being in love with Tano get Miguel's wheels turning about what Luciana really feels for him?
But Bobby is my greatest hope. Will he hang tough with Graciela and rat her out to his dad, or will he let her snow him about her real intent with the boarding schoo1?
So Lilian is reading “Learn a Wicked Awesome Boston Accent.” Is that the writers' shoutout to English speaking viewers' comments that her American accent sounds British? Maybe Lilian read "Learn a Wicked Awesome British Accent" first.
Little Bobby had another notable encounter with an adult too. Did 'anyone' remember when he ran into Marta right before the Boarding School events and he sweetly noticed Marta looked sad and asked her why? Marta brushed him off telling him it was "Grown up stuff" and her ran out saying no one ever tells him anything.
The writers must assume that if they still have anyone along on this show, we are not the sharpest knife in the drawer and need help. When even something pretty obvious happens, we have a tiny low down or stop in action and a very loud lower C from the piano for accent. Like when Sobbing Susan let Miggy into the Kitchen and told him she don't love her No Tano, after Luci had in essence, (to Miguel) told him the same thing, we had a DONG in the background. Luci was pretty diplomatic about it, but she needed to tell him long ago she accepts his love, but not by lethal injection.
When he made his little pissed Chichuachua move toward his boss David should have fired Miggy right on the spot. He could tacitly explain he has a policy of not employing anyone who might at the drop of a hat try to whip his ass and give him his pink slip. If Miggy were a dog he would be banned from the dog park.
Lillian can be as evil as she wants with the adults, they are adults and the onous in on them to figure out the face of Satan talking to them. But her cavalier attitude concerning Bobby's whereabouts guarantees her place in HELL. She hoped he would not ever be found. There is a special very warm place for people like her.
So, is Lillian hoping to change her name and move to Boston after fleecing David of his fortune? I can't imagine why else she would be attempting to adopt a Boston accent. However, I don't think she's done enough homework because Bostonians are very insular. I doubt they would think she is from any prominent Boston family and she's also likely to slip up. She will have no game in New England, but she won't get that far.
Gracie will attempt to use finding Bobby to her own advantage but she should only succeed at this if Bobby has any track record of lying. I don't think he does and I don't think David would want to send him away to school if he is unwilling to go. As mentioned before, Lillian's cavalier attitude toward Bobby's disappearance should be a red alert to David.

Sigh...a whole episode spent searching for a kid hiding under a bed. Really, writers?
On a positive note, I understood more dialogue than usual ...because a major portion of it was..Bobby..Bobby...Bobby...Bobby...and sometimes Booby depending on who was yelling the poor kid's name.
The title of the book that Lilian was reading reminded me of Rachel Dratch and Jimmy Fallon's Boston sketches on SNL that were sprinkled liberally with "wicked" and "Omar." Was that just a wink wink nudge nudge to the American audience???
I am getting tired of all these people. The writers have many hours to fill, so goes missing next? I hope that it is Lilian because that would be wicked awesome.
It should be a clue to David that DisGracie's help in finding Bobby pretty much amounted to stumbling along behind him when possible as he looked for his son, and gloming onto him whenever she actually caught him.
lilian's attitude toward her grandchildren is unbelievable...Abuela-From-Hell.
During their WikiLeaks planning session Abuela from..was telling Devil with .. that she must pay attention to every small detail. "The Devil is in the details, Grace." Then I thought I heard something like 'Bobby is very intuitive' or similar, and her admonition to not underestimate the kid.
At least sometimes Luci wears sensible shoes, rather than stripper spikes clamoring after their prize.
I wish they had chosen different names.
Susanlynn, I laugh every time at Bo-bee, Boo-bee and just plain Bobby. They all say it differently.
I also laughed at how half the characters used this missing kid hour to get a little touchy-feely with the various person they desired.
Really hoping the Coyote takes out Mark and Juan and he can take Susan too.
I like Fer and Tano together. I sense that he'll tame the brat out of her. He's a good kid.
I thoroughly enjoyed the writers throwing us a few fun bones. Sonia consistently brightens my day (just by being in it) but her searching for Brian in the lower kitchen cabinet and "she checks the toaster oven, just in case" made my night. And I loved Lili's reading material and sincerely hope we get to hear her attempt to mimic a true Boston accent. I am a transplanted Jersey girl who still would not think of trying to imitate a true Bostonian, even after living here over 40 years.
Clearly, the writers have definite moments of inspiration. I hope we are treated to a few more clever turns ere this ends.
"Miguel is seething inside, spoiling for another round of verbal swagger". With Susan, he is kind and patient. With Marta, understanding and supportive. With Luciana, he is overwhelmingly clingy, possessive and frankly, rude. I agree with Niecie in hoping he will take Susan's words to heart and realize he and Luci are not meant to be.
"Meanwhile, Bobby is high and dry, with only a few dust bunnies on his back". True. I hope Bobby tells his father what he saw. Quite careless of Gracie to leave the incriminating material lying around.
Dumb and dumber (Juan and Mark) continue to amaze, and not in a good way. These two idiots deserve everything that is coming to them.
Mar did an outstanding job last night. Her hands were visibly shaking when she picked up Mark's call and my heart sank. I was frightened for her for a moment, forgetting this is fantasy. Fantasy that unfortunately mirrors real life all too well.
Thank you Anita. This was wonderful.
Diana
tofie--All of your above Luci possibilities apply. She still has two sets of balls in the air. I think Miguel's will fall first--or at least we got a hint of that last night. Erika will surely pick his up and off to San Francisco they go.
Kirby--it was late. I do remember Bobby walking out on Marta, but I overlooked it. I'm sure that added to his state of mind that nobody wants him around. He should have made friends with Sonia--she's actually a lot more fun (or at least more fun for us to watch). Poor Sonia. She was trying to hard in those early days to gain Bobby's affection.
So glad the lad was Lost and Found in the same episode. Maybe now we can scratch that one off and move on.
Susanlynn, I'm getting tired of these people too but I liked Miguel almost firing Luci. She didn't go running after him either. I think both of them see Erika as a nice out of their loveless/annoying one-sided relationship. Go for it, Miguel: that warm cheek kiss holds more promise than watching Luciana's spray-painted backside and bouncing curls flouncing away from you for the umpteenth time!
One more thing. Are you being naughty here, Anita, or is it in the eyes of the beholder:
She still has two sets of balls in the air. I think Miguel's will fall first--. . .
Hilarious and vividly true!
Thanks!
I partly say that because David seems to be slowly coming out of intellectual hibernation. I have noticed a couple of funny looks at DisGrace and Lillian Abuela de Hades lately and surely that dim bulb must be flickering to life slowly.
I would be all for Brian earning his redemption bringing down Mark and Juan and Hurla. And in parallel Bobby outing Lillian and Gracie. It would not be a perfect world, but it would be several notches above what we have now.
Bobby is a brave little boy mixing it up with those rabid rabbits under the bed. :-)
I'm kinda hoping Bobby will rush DisGracie, stomp hard on her foot and run to Daddy!
I want to Miguel to see Luciana totally engulfed in David's embrace, the two of them clutching each other as if Bobby was seen bobbing in the muddy river. Then, let him go seek out Erika for solace.
Everybody on here knows David & Luciana are end-game. However, we're going to get used to the villains winning first!
Kirby: Perla & Carito will get their Karma anvils. It's not if, it's when!
It is tormenting Carita seeing what those people are going through now, so her punishment is already going on.
Miguel and Erika? Didn't I see a 'San Francisco' brochure sticking out of the back pocket of her painted on jeans when she put a third degree burn on Miguel's cheek?
In a perfect TN world, Mark and NoJuan would turn on each other being each other's anvils with no effort from the good guys. Brian arrests Coyote and rescues the 'people' and is a hero who retrieves Marta's love And Little Ingrid is on TV as the key to solving the whole big crime and is given citizenship as her reward. Her first act 'Back in the U S S A', is hunt down and 'rape' Leon. He doesn't file charge sbut rather seems to display the Stockholm Syndrome.
Soo-San quits the Vineyard and gets a job as a spokeschick for the company which markets "Liquid Tears". She buys all new clothes from here on planet Earth.
It is Sunday, I just feel thankful.
Gracie would be shooting herself in the backside of her slinky black pants suit to blame the boarding school caper on his dad, even if she convinces him it was just talk. She can't avoid the fact that the brochures were in her room and David knew nothing about it. I think he would believe his dad. Besides, Gracie can't afford to have him alienated from his dad. What is he going to think, say and do if in the eventuality (that none of us are waiting for), he catches David and GRACIE in any semi-San Francisco position in the Bodega Los Angeles.
Well, they may not actually be on the perches yet, but they are doing a lot of flapping.
In many TNs the bad guys run amok with impunity until the last episode or two then WWV breaks out right before the obligatory wedding, with the bad guy funerals going on across town.
With the SuperBowl a week away, when you talked about Erika's ball handling I was trying to see her dressed as Tom Brady. Hut! Hut! Fourteen,, seventy two, Hut!
Seems as though the circus has come town.
Lila..That Anita is getting pretty cheeky, si? My word..bawbells. From hence forth, I will be thinking of Luci as The Juggler.
I think some progress has been made in that Miguel seems to be doing the math concerning the way Luci pushes him away and smart Erika pulls him toward her. San Francisco here we come. Erica looks a lot more fun... and sane... than The Juggler . At least Erica smiles. We only get an odd grin from luci when she is furiosa.
Well, time to get some chores done or there will be no clean wifebeaters in the drawer this week.
Back to Susan for a minute, who's gone from a confident and strong woman/confidant to a perpetually crying and/or freaked out mess locking herself in the Servants' Luxury Townhouse. Am I the only one who's annoyed by...well, not the end result as much as the road we were stuck on to get us here? (See previous "weirdly abrupt" comment. I can't pin down why it bugs me, but it does. I suspect most of it is due to (o hai) Mark.) OTOH, at least her friends and co-workers are rallying behind her; David going straight to Imma-kill-a-bitch when he found out was almost pleasantly welcome (partially because David doing anything emotional at this point is pleasantly welcome).
The Strong Woman has become a theme in movies and TV shows lately. Evidently these writers did not get the memo. It is a shame what they did to Susan. Why didn't she take her younger beau, get a PFA order, and contact a good divorce lawyer. Eventually, Marked is going to step on his own foot, but it would have been rewarding to see Susan step on it first and speed his decline along.
I am hoping that Miguel is getting as tired of pursuing the reluctant Juggler as we are getting tired of observing it. Despierta, Miguel. There is someone welcoming waiting , packing the car for a trip to San Fran. I would like to see Miguel's devoted passion unleashed on a willing partner. Yes...come on , Miguel...fly like the wind .
P.s The horse still has no name.
If we are supposed to get on board and feel sorry for Luci because she is torn between one who could be (mistaken for) her uncle and the gatekeeper at the cookoo's nest well I don't.
Maybe some of these people should try someone outside their daily orbit. Even a dog doesn't poop where it eats.
AND AMERICA?? OMG!!! I would have gone just to hear "Horse with No Name" and "Tin Man!" They are, of course, on my ipod Touch and those are among the songs that carry such sweet memories and i feel like a kid again when I hear them!
You are SO lucky!
Susanlynn--WRT The Strong Woman theme, I think we have to put Luci in the Weaker Vessel now, along with Susan and, yes, Marta (WRT Lilian).
In the beginning, Luci was full of spit and fire, self-confidence, independence (for a young woman her age), not at all reluctant to express her opinions and feelings to anyone. Those were qualities Migi actually said he admired (so did David). She has backslid a bit, IMHO.
Now, even though it seems like she possesses those same qualities, she's just waffling between two men, one who is dour and too old for her and the other who is overbearing and possessive (and unarguably handsome) and who would rather stifle her independence. What Migi says and does are the same side of the same coin. He feels she needs protection and insists on taking care of her (read that--making her decisions for her) and repeats it endlessly and puts his hands all over her to emphasize the fact. (Tofie noticed that there hasn't been too much wrap-around arms and kissy-face initiated by Luci lately. That's a hopeful sign.)
If Migi were anyone but who he is, he would be listening to what she said and not given *her* the ultimatum to "think about it."
Of..Anita..I guess that Miguel reminds me of Jamie, the King of Men !!!😊
OT-- Susanlynn, a little over half way through, Jamie's only 23 but O. M. G! What a man! What wonderful romantic, steamy and cliff-hangery fare is this Outlander!
And yes, "Sailing. . .takes me away. . ." LOVE that song!
Practice novel!? Jeezopete, the woman paints masterpieces with words and a tremendous amount of research must have gone into writing it!
Ah, yes, reading it could not have come at a better time what with our lackluster Dave and his feeble efforts to fight off the coveting, horny/greedy, murderous sister-in-law. All of the pairings in this thing are lame and they killed Sonia/Leo before it could get started. Jessh!
Anyone watching Black Sails?? Pirates !!!!
Purposely plotted. David's seemed so rehearsed. And it was. I guess they had to find a way to get them in each other's arms. The same with tano & fer
Those guys were fake looking but they
Worked, she got a hug out of her overly concern for her lil lost bros seemingly lostness.
I hope graciepoo Don't threaten Bobby
But she might. I would love to see Lucy whip up on her bleach blond butt.
But she might a blond, I don't care
I don't like her. She's evil.
Ericka could be the reason for this turn around of the mig. Ok I just bet he's just looking for an excuse to get
With Ericka. Who he think he fooling?
And the same for miss lucy. Maybe they
Both are about to come to the same conclusion "we're not for each other after all". Well somethin's gotta give.
Gracias Anita :)
Erika itching to get into Miguel's pants. I'm like, "Just do it already!"
- Juan and Perla
- Lilian and Gutierrez
- Marta and Gutierrez
At the rate we're going we'll probably somehow get Gutierrez banging Luciana before either Miguel or David get there...
Gutierrez is addicted to Lillian the longest!
Dr. Phil needs to step in & stage an intervention.
With Davy before Lucy does.
I think we are all ready for Erika to make another move. Anita: "it seems to me that Migi wants to make it Luci's fault." Issuing ultimatums is the passive-aggressive way to manipulate her into being the bad guy. In a sense, she really is the bad guy, in that she's hedging her bets with him and David at the same time, so Miguel really doesn't have to go through so much trouble to make it her fault. If he's not happy, he's well within his rights to end it, without the fuss and bother of an ultimatum - but then he doesn't get to be the victim.
It really is odd that more people aren't getting busy on this show. A whole vineyard full of scantily clad, hot, young people, you'd think more of them would be partying naked.
Can be killed off in the middle of a scene, and you get paid that same day,it's over. I wonder if they do that in American soaps?
I just had the chance to read this and as always you did an excellent job. I can't say anything more than what everyone else has already talked about. I just can't stand that DisGracie and all her deceptions. Of course she wants to send Bobby to boarding school!
I agree with some of the others here. Not much romance going on, just mostly arguments and romancing that goes awry. Perla and Juan just aren't that interesting and pleeeassse....I do not ever want to see Gutierrez and Lil in bed again. That coupling just grosses me out completely. And we know we are never going to see Marta and Gut together again. I hope Marta and Ramon get together soon. Like I said, if it were me, I'd be falling all over Ramon.
I laughed when I saw Lil with that book! I had no idea such a book even existed. I am going to have to tell my friends who live in that area about that book. They will get a kick out of that. Amazon has the Kindle version for free. :)
Well to quote Luci earlier, "working ourselves to death here" They are probably just too damn tired the way they work out there.
I hope both David and Miguel pitch Luciana to the curb for playing them.
Susanlynn--For a title, I actually like your The Censors Fell Asleep, even though it wasn't meant to be a title. I would change Censors to Sensors. Not much sensing going on worth raving about.
You wanna bet she was checking her messages part way through?
Oh Joselo, I'm sorry, I have to pick up Bobby's heart medicine and they close at five, can you be a dear and hurry a little, Please? Sweetie?
And by default Cynthia's anniversary is/was more interesting than at least half of this fakakta show...so congratulations, girl! :)
Fingers crossed that Bobby will hold his own tonight.
