Caray, Caray!

• In Asdrubal's office, Danilo isn’t sure if Laustela is gone for forever, because she left and came back three years ago, but if she does, he and Morgana would have had their own child by then and claimed the 20%. He does lament that Laustela left without sleeping with him but Asdrubal reminds him that Laustela needs to come back ASAP lest Ryan open up an investigation into her whereabouts. If he does, the police may investigate Furia and that would make El Dorado very unhappy. He instructs Danilo to think and make sure Laustela comes back so everything is calm.
• Laustela explains that everything is over between because she can’t continue to be Estela Carrillo, not with all the problems it has caused. Ryan proposes they find a solution but Laustela thinks the only solution is to be far away from him and start a new life. She asks Ryan to let her go, if he loves her, because she can’t be Estela but she can’t go back to Laura Oviedo, either. Ryan asks her to please tell him why not but Laustela shakes her head and asks that he not make things harder. Ryan can’t let her go, not knowing that she and her daughter are in danger, but Laustela asks him to leave her be. Ryan nods and hopes she realizes the mistake she’s making. He leaves and Laustela breaks down.


• Leticia wakes up from a nap to find Erasmo waiting for her. She didn’t hear him come in and he reminds her that she was tired. Leticia nods and calls him over to give him a hug. She yearned to be close to him again, like before, but now they will be, all they need to do is bring their children across the border. Erasmo asks her to slow down and Leticia agrees and goes to give him a kiss, which he shies away from. He walks away from her and tells her that he has to go shower so he can go back to work. Leticia asks if she will have to stay locked up in the hotel room again and Erasmo suggests she watch TV for the time being and he can buy her breakfast. She tries to caress his face but he moves away again and Leticia asks him why he’s being so distant. He’s quiet and Leticia asks if he’s mad that she came. Erasmo confesses that they have been apart for a while and he can’t receive her with the same passion she expects. Leticia nods and tells him she will wait for everything to go back to normal but Erasmo repeats that he needs a shower and leaves.
• Laustela is having trouble looking for work with her phone but prefers to use a computer at the library. Rosario thinks it would be easier to give Ryan a chance, especially because the letter burning was a SUPER romantic gesture, but Laustela is not about it. She then receives a warning via text message: remain with Ryan and go back to Furia or your life will become a waking nightmare, witch. Rosario wonders who sent it and Laustela sends a text back to see if they answer.
• Danilo catches Morgana up on the latest news in the Ryan-Laustela saga and she couldn’t be happier because that ensures the 60% from Furia will be his. Danilo will miss Laustela’s butt though but Morgana chides him for bringing it up though she teases him about the fact that he isn’t Laustela’s type. Morgana understands though, as Ryan is a lot hotter, but Danilo warns her to not refer to Ryan in that manner. Morgana smiles and tells him there is no one like him for her but denies his proposal for sex, at least for the time being. She then goes to the bathroom as Danilo smiles to himself in bed.
• Laustela gets a text message back: she is no one to give orders, especially because her father had many enemies. They warn her to obey their instructions or Paloma will pay the consequences. Laustela calls the number immediately and demands they stop harassing her but the voice on the other end warns her to obey and Paloma will be able to keep playing with her butterflies. In fact, they will deal with Ryan first, as a sign of good faith, but Laustela begs them not to hurt him because she will do whatever they want. The voice is revealed to be Calao, who tells her that she will keep quiet about their conversation as well or else he will return Ryan to her in little bags. Calao also tells her to not bother calling him back, as the number doesn’t exist, before hanging up. Rosario asks her what happened and Laustela explains that the man on the other end knew them well, though his voice sounds familiar. Rosario suggests they are spying on her and Laustela assumes they are enemies of Pedro Carrillo, who will do anything to have their revenge.
• At Furia, Mercy comes to Ryan’s office and asks if he feels better; he does not. Mercy confesses that she tried to stop Laustela from leaving to no avail; she knew Laustela would end up leaving either way. Ryan asks her to stop and thanks her for trying to help but the last thing he needs is an “I told you so” right now and storms off.
• Leticia aimlessly flips through the TV channels and waits. She tries to call Erasmo to no avail and then begins to unpack her things. She changes into one of Erasmo’s shirts and continues to wait.
• Rosario suggests they leave now with the money she earned and hide but Laustela reminds her that the threat came from people related to organized crime and she needs her to calm down for Paloma and for her. Rosario asks if they will do anything to Paloma but Laustela will come up with something because no harm can come to Paloma or Ryan. Rosario thinks she needs to accept what she feels for Ryan, especially because she’s scared of what those people can do to Ryan. Laustela is quiet and then grabs her bag and leaves.
• Later, Leticia and Erasmo eat at the same restaurant from before. She points out the fact that she’s wearing his favorite shirt and confesses that she got scared when he didn’t come back to the hotel at midnight. She then asks that he show her how to move around the city and Erasmo reveals that he felt just like her when he first got to LA. She also wants to know how to call from the cell phone she brought from Mexico, because she has no idea, but Erasmo stops her and tells her he has something important to say. He should’ve told her sooner so she wouldn’t have come to find him but the fact of the matter is he was lonely when he got to LA and found someone who showed him around and taught him the language. Leticia wants to know her name and Erasmo tells her it’s “Bonita” and she is the person he fell in love with in LA.
• Laustela goes to look for Ryan at Furia but Genesis tells him that he isn’t there but she can leave him a message. Laustela needs to talk to him ASAP and in person. Genesis explains that he didn’t have any pressing meetings in Furia and he doesn’t answer his cell phone but there is a place may find it, where he always went when he wanted to be alone. Laustela asks her to tell her where that place is.
• Erasmo apologizes for hurting Leticia but she asks herself how she is going to tell their children that he is not going to care for them anymore. He tells her that he will take care of them but Leticia chides herself for worrying about him, when he began to send less money, when he already had another woman in his life. She hoped to unite their family when she crossed the border but Erasmo reminds her that isn’t possible anymore. Leticia begins to cry.
• Ryan is at the balcony of an apartment when Laustela comes. She thinks about what Calao told her and approaches Ryan. He is surprised to see her, and calls her Laura, before asking if something is wrong. Laustela tells him nothing is but they do need to talk.
• Mercy is reading some documents in her office when Danilo comes and snatches the file out of her hand. Mercy is surprised and Danilo reminds her that she is as surprised as he was when she told him that Walter left him nothing and then teased him with the fact that Ryan would also inherit the remaining 20%. Mercy tells him that Walter knew Ryan had more possibilities of having an heir, which is why he put that clause in the will. Danilo shakes his head and reminds her that Ryan couldn’t stop Laustela from leaving but he already has someone in his life, Morgana, and pretty soon, she will be pregnant and he will be the majority shareholder.
• Erasmo confesses that he felt lonely and Leticia reminds him that he could’ve called and told her so she would’ve crossed the border sooner. She then proposes he leave his current partner and she will forgive everything because she loves him despite the fact that she remained faithful while he did not. Erasmo apologizes and tells her that it is not possible anymore and suggests she return to Mexico. Leticia will not leave without him though.
• Ryan thought everything between them was said and assumes what she has to tell him is important. Laustela confesses that there is something she is afraid of and it has to do with him. Ryan asks if she thinks he would do something to her and Laustela shakes her head and reveals that she’s afraid to accept that she needs him and can’t live without him anymore. Ryan asks if she’s willing to be with him, despite all it implies, and Laustela accepts before telling him that she will have to be Estela for everyone but will be Laura for him. Ryan reminds her that she’s always been Laura for him and kisses her, passionately.
• Erasmo thinks it’s best that she doesn’t tell the kids anything until he can personally tell him at the end of the year in Mexico. Leticia laughs it off, especially because he has gone back to Mexico since he left, but finds it ironic that he wants to go back just to tell their kids that he found another woman and another family. He asks her to calm down and gets up to leave but Leticia explains that his confession will destroy Maria because she was hoping to come to the US and be with him and have a better life. Erasmo begs her to stop but Leticia tells him Maria is a t a difficult age and needs her father by her side. Erasmo thinks it would set a bad example if they were together by force and Leticia nods. He offers to take her back to the hotel but Leticia can manage finding her way back by herself. Erasmo nods and Leticia cries.
• Danilo shows Morgana his new office but she thinks it’s too empty to be the office of a head honcho at Furia. He tells her that it’s going to be decorated to his liking soon and she will see how good it looks afterward. Morgana asks if it will look as good Laustela but Danilo waves off her comment and thinks they should keep trying to get pregnant. Just then, Danilo gets a call from Asdrubal, who wants Danilo to call him as soon as Laustela is back at Furia. Danilo asks how he knows she will be back or why he cares so much but Asdrubal reminds him that he’s not there to think and El Dorado wants Laustela at Furia so he better adhere to his orders. Danilo agrees and Asdrubal hangs up. Danilo tells Morgana that something strange is happening with Asdrubal and Laustela but Morgana thinks he wants to sleep with her too. Danilo vows to find out what the truth is, no matter what.
• Ryan wonders what made Laustela stop living in fear and confess her feelings. Laustela reminds him that she’s still afraid and Ryan promises to take away all her fears and make her the happiest woman ever. They kiss again.
• Danilo is looking up information on Laustela, much to Morgana’s annoyance, and he finds the article about her heroic efforts at Everwood, her connections to Pedro Carrillo and his past as a money launderer. Morgana asks if that’s why El Dorado is so interested in her but Danilo fears that they will use Laustela to take over his money launderer scheme at Furia. Morgana laughs at irony of the situation: he didn’t want to be a money launderer and now he is fighting tooth and nail to keep his job. Danilo shakes his head and tells her that the most important thing is to find out how innocent Laustela and how much she knows about the money laundering business. Morgana thinks they could both be criminal together and laughs.
• Ryan asks Laustela what she proposes they do so Estela doesn’t cause any more trouble. She is willing to fight any and all of her enemies but Ryan thinks it would be unwise to stand up to so many enemies. Laustela thinks there could be allies too, such as those who broke her out of the ICE van, but Ryan doesn’t think it makes a difference because they are still following her. Laustela grows quiet and then tells Ryan that it’s strange Pedro’s allies saved her if they knew she wasn’t Estela. Ryan supposes they never met her and Laustela asks if her rescue at the border has been on the news. Ryan didn’t see any news but he assumes ICE wouldn’t let the information come to light either way. She proposes they stop talking about that for the time being, as to not ruin the moment, and Ryan agrees. He wants all three of them to return to his house ASAP because he worries about them being out and about, all alone. Laustela wonders if it’s a good idea, especially because of Mercy, but Ryan reminds her that Mercy hates Estela, not Laura, and she’s sure to win her heart soon, just like she won his. They kiss again.
• In the apartment, Rosario and Paloma try to make the best of their current situation but Paloma reiterates that she doesn’t like living there. Rosario tells her that she didn’t even have a TV growing up but proposes she tell Paloma a story to pass the time. Paloma wants one about a prince and princess who love each other and Rosario announces that they are coming through the door as Ryan and Laustela walk in. Laustela takes Paloma up in her arms and then hands her to Ryan, who tells her they are going back to his house. Rosario congratulates Laustela for finally thinking with her head but Laustela shushes her. Ryan tells Paloma that he will help her back and the go off. Once alone, Rosario asks Laustela if she told him about the threat but Laustela shakes her head. She doesn’t want anything to happen to Ryan for not following instructions. She then goes to call Chavalin to tell him they are moving back to Ryan’s.
• In his office, Danilo worries that Asdrubal may be trying to cut him out of the money-laundering scheme but Morgana thinks it’s stupid since Asdrubal sought him out in the first place. Danilo wonders what he needs Laustela back, especially since it would ruin his plans to win the 20% because still will get back with Ryan. Morgana doesn’t think one has to do with the other but Danilo will make it his personal mission to keep them apart. He then begins to kiss Morgana and tells her they need to hurry with her pregnancy.
• Ryan brings Laustela, Rosario and Paloma back. Mercy is waiting for their arrival and teases them for leaving at midnight and then coming back in the afternoon. She wonders if it was all a joke but Ryan announces that they are back forever. Mercy thinks it’s wonderful that they are back together, because no child should be without a father, and welcomes them before going to her room. They go to put their things back in their room.
• Morgana goes to visit the best fertility clinic, according to the Internet, and the doctor asks if she knows why she can’t conceive. Morgana explains that she has a problem in her uterus and would never be pregnant, according to tests, and the doctor suggest they hire a surrogate to carry the baby. Morgana is confused but the doctor explains that another woman would carry her baby. Morgana immediately shakes her and explains that Danilo would dump her if he found out she couldn’t conceive. The doctor thinks that if there is love between her and her partner, it shouldn’t be a problem, but she hands Morgana lecture on the subject either way. Morgana asks if there is anything she can do, in the mean time, to fortify her uterus and the doctor proposes they run some tests. She does warn Morgana that the process to conceive will be emotionally detraining but Morgana doesn’t care and asks her to begin immediately.
• Laustela tells Paloma to go fix her toy and Ryan asks Laustela to come with him so they can talk. She obliges and they leave Paloma with Rosario.
• At Furia’s stage, Danilo signs Laustela’s song as Mercy watches from the shadows. She then begins to clap and teases him about his poor performance. Danilo asks her to mind he business but Mercy is there to relay important news: Ryan and Laustela are back together and happier than ever. She announces that the 20% is back in Ryan’s hands and asks that he continue signing before turning off the lights and leaving.
• By the pool, Laustela tells Ryan that she is surprised at how well Mercy took them coming back. Ryan nods but tells her that she may not be too happy about them leaving. Laustela is confused and Ryan explains that he was thinking they should leave to another state or country, where no one could find them and she could be Laura openly. Laustela laments that he may have to leave everything but he doesn’t care and Laustela smiles before agreeing. In the meantime, he does want to take her to another place he has been dying to share with her. She asks him where it is but Ryan reminds her that Paloma gave them the afternoon off to be together. Laustela smiles and they kiss, deeply.
• Danilo storms into Asdrubal’s office and demands to know what his plans are for Furia. He asks if he is grooming Laustela to take over and throwing him away but Talisman hits him in the stomach as Asdrubal watches. Asdrubal tells him that that punch was because he’s ungrateful and for daring to storm into his office and scream at him. Talisman grabs Danilo by the hear and drag him to Asdrubal, who tells him that he is just following El Dorado’s orders and he doesn’t have to explain anything to him. He does propose Danilo find away to take advantage of the situation before asking Talisman drag him out.
• That night, Leticia, who has followed Erasmo to his girlfriend’s house, watches as they kiss outside. He tells her goodbye and she goes to the front door as Leticia runs to her. She stops the woman before she goes inside and tells her that she is Erasmo’s wife and they have to talk.
• Ryan takes Laustela to his apartment as she calls Rosario and confirms that Paloma is asleep, safe and sound. Ryan explains that this was his apartment when he was with Estela and before he moved back home after their breakup. He tells her that he didn’t bring them there because it’s smaller and they wouldn’t have been comfortable. Laustela thinks they could’ve made it work but asks if Estela ever came to his apartment. Ryan confesses that she never set foot in it and Laustela smiles before picking up a picture of Walter. She sets it down and then goes off exploring with Ryan in tow. She finds his bedroom and looks around before noticing the beautiful view of the LA skyline. Ryan hugs her from behind and she reveals that the LA skyline was the first thing she saw when she crossed the border; she will never forget it. Ryan tells her that he wants this to be unforgettable as well and kiss her. She tells Ryan that he is unforgettable and Ryan asks what made her change her mind because she didn’t want to be near him 2 days ago. Laustela explains that she didn’t want to admit her feelings but she can’t stop thinking about him. She kisses him and he holds her closer but she suddenly pulls away. She confesses that it’s been a while since she’s been with anyone, and they may be moving too fast, and Ryan agrees before pulling back. He asks if she wants to leave but Laustela wants him to hug her and kiss her and he obliges.
• The woman allows Leticia inside her house but reiterates that she doesn’t want any trouble. She explains that Erasmo told her it was over between him and his wife and he didn’t love her anymore but Leticia stops her. She tells the woman that she doesn’t know if she’s lying but her marriage is very much alive and, if it survived poverty, it will survive anything. The woman is unwilling to let Erasmo go because they love each other and he’s with her because Leticia let him go. Leticia thinks the woman took advantage of the fact he was alone and seduced him but the woman reiterates that they fell in love and Leticia was nowhere to be found. Leticia reminds her that she was caring for their children but the woman knows they are old enough to understand that things happen and people fall out of love. Leticia laughs and chides her for only thinking of herself but the woman reveals that she is also thinking of the child that is on the way. Leticia is floored.
• In Mexicali, Baja California, Luis brings Mr. Blake a butterfly in jar. He asks her if they have found Fausto but she explains they have not but they are trying to find one of the women he was associated with; they should find him soon enough. Mr. Blake nods and she hands him the jar with the butterfly. He opens it, touches the butterfly’s wings and smiles. He confesses that he loves the feeling of having something fragile in his hands that he can destroy at a moment’s notice. Luisa frowns.
• By the light of the moon shining through the curtains, Laustela and Ryan continue to kiss. He wishes that moment would last forever because it’s perfect and Laustela asks him to promises that they will always be together. He promises and also promises that this is only the beginning of their time together. They continue to kiss.
• The woman laments what Leticia is going through but it’s best she forget about Erasmo. Leticia reiterates that she will stay and fight for her husband but the woman suggests she go back to Mexico and care for her children or she will call ICE so they come pick her up. Leticia warns her that she will tell ICE about Erasmo too so they can be deported together but the woman reveals that Erasmo is married to her and, therefore, a US citizen. Leticia is floored again.
• Laustela is in bed with Ryan, giving into her love, when nightmarish images come into her mind: a dimly light club, several women in tight fitting clothes and heavy makeup laughing, and then, finally, a man, waiting for her in front of a door. She snaps out off it and Ryan asks her what happened. Laustela, shaking, tries to tell Ryan what happened but stops herself. He tells her that they don’t have to do anything if she doesn’t want to but Laustela tell him she wants to be with him but they have to get to know each other better because there are memories in her past that continue to hurt her. She then asks him if he doesn’t relive his memories but Ryan confesses that he lives in the moment and only cares about her right now. Laustela looks at his lips and Ryan tells her to let go and give into her desire. Laustela nods and Ryan vows to always love her. She asks if he always will despite the fact he doesn’t know her but Ryan reminds her that they are getting to know each other right now. He vows to memorize and learn everything about her body until he knows everything. Laustela kisses him and they give into their passion…
