Personal Statement: violence is never good and people need to work
through their problems without pulling guns... except when they're
forced into sexual slavery and the likes...

Odious Isidro makes it to the top of my hate list. DNA results are in and he can't wait to get Paloma so he can take Paloma back to Mexico and resell her to get more money out of her. Although Blake is hateful at least he doesn't have anything bad planned for Paloma...he has already gotten on the foster parent list so Paloma can stay with him. Between Isidreadful and Blake, we have to go with Blake, sadly. What a nightmare.
But Isidrodious won't give up on using Paloma to get more money, he hightails it over to Furia and asks to see Mercy. Luckily, Genesis tell him she is not there. Danilow makes an interception and tells him he will take her to Mercy.
Ryan is getting luckier every day. Steve finds Tona's bordello and they come up with a plan to call the bordello and ask for a service call hoping that whoever they send will give them info on La Tona. How lucky they are that when La Tona gets the call, Fausto suggests that she send Nina so that they can get her out of the way (after she does whatever they are making her do) and make sure she doesn’t mess up their plans.
Uh Ohhh, wanna bet that Steve is caught by Genesis with Nina and there is a big misunderstanding that splits up the two lovebirds?
Nina saves the day...her conscience won't let her keep from trying to help Regia and tells her about Tona's plan. Later when she arrives at Ryan's place, she breaks down and tells him too, but Ryan is frantic because LauStela refuses to let him help her.
I have some ideas about what Laura can do with the pair of heathens, but I don't think she has it in her even though she thinks she does. Simmering in the desert with lots of scorpions would be a good scenario.
I was really hoping Danilow would send TomAss a buddy (Isidrodious), but instead he sends him back to Mexico (Or does he, really? With a First Class ticket, I bet!)
Maria's little party is spoiled by Tadeo..lucky for her! I was surprised that she knows about Tadeo's "preferences." Maria is about to lose her V-Card to a fool, in her mother's hotel room, while other two teenagers in heat are frolicking in the bathroom. I'm half expecting for the "cool kids" to ask for a four-way. Maria seems so dumb, she might actually go for it. Where is LetMe? Where is LetMe? QTH!!

I couldn't go to sleep last night thinking about what to do with those two. I want the doors bolted shut from the outside and abandoned in the desert. It will take days or weeks to actually die. As time goes on, one will probably kill and eat the other before dying of the heat in that metal van.

Genesis can sit home and cry herself into being forgotten as far as I care. You at least listen for a second unless you have a reason to suspect already. People who do not trust lovers without reason usually can not be trusted, and that is why.

Diana, it is a very close 4-way tie. I put Odious Isidro on top because babies are defenseless and for a father to sell off his own child is heinous and diablolical. Fausto, Tona, and Blake, while also detestable and heartless, prey on older people who might have a fighting chance.

Kirby, a second season for La Piloto was confirmed. At the end of June, they were given the green light to start filming. Maybe what they are going to show are reruns. Was Rosie Scissorhands that bad that they are cancelling it?
Ohhh, I think I may know what it'll be, but if I'm correct and say what I'm thinking, I may get in trouble...probably worse than detention.

But Fausto and Tona have touched me in a way so that I feel complete repulsion.
Fausto committed the ultimate betrayal by preying on an innocent girl and selling her into a life of prostitution. Other than hurting/abducting a child that is bottom feeder behavior. And Tona is the most disgusting villain I've ever seen. Blackened heart and filthy countenance.
I sense there is a general sense of disgust about these two among the patio denizens.
I try to see something good in everyone, but there is nothing, absolutely nothing of that nature in either one.

I have just caught bits and pieces of Scissors but am not interested in it. The Scissor chick looks like a bodybuilder,. Just all muscles, to the point of not being hot so I'm out. I'd watch a continuation of LaPiloto though.
It will be interesting to see if my TV schedule is wrong. It has been wrong before. At the 8pm spot ,it lists Rosa de Guadalupe , so Jose must have ended. I wonder when and if Ramon is coming on. Has anyone else checked his\her TV guide?

SusanLynn, according to the announcements, Ramon is supposed to start on Aug 8th at 8 E and Tierra Prometida on Aug 7th at 10 E. I haven't seen when Familia will start.
Speaking of Evil Fausto and Tona in the back of the van, with his need for nicotine, I'm thinking he would be jumping out of his skin after about an hour or so. This would definitely hinder his ability to deal with Tona. So if she drives out to a hot place, they would be doomed in a short time.
Too bad Laura hasn't seen enough TNs to know to rid yourself of bad people in the back of a van, all you have to do is drive to a cliff and put a rock on the gas pedal. Done, bad guys all gone.

Linda, off a really high cliff with the van flipping over several times, and bursting into flames when it finally hits the ground would work for me.
I had also thought of throwing them into a pool full of piranhas, but the I figured once the piranhas get s taste of them, they'd probably spit them out and refuse to bite them.
Oh I just though of something, isn't there an earwig or something similar that if it gets into your ear it starts eating you up? It's supposed to be very painful.

I still like starving them until one eats the other, then when the winner's food is gone, He/She starves anyway.
Kind of the payback for forced prostitution, forced cannibalism. You could even provide knives and other tools and salt and pepper too of course, unless one of them is on a low sodium diet.

I have a feeling that La Regia will foolishly let those two desgraciados live, but she's in a good position to kill them by carbon monoxide poisoning.
I don't fancy myself the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I do have a natural feel for revenge. RGV's coyotes are tempting, but I think they are just too picky.
A lots of the things which would work on people like us, you know just disgusting things like eating maggots or something, are probably not too bad to people who are one big manure pile to begin with, so I think plain old fashioned pain and slooooow dismenberment is the way to go. Like when you look like Fau/Ton, a few scars to make you ugly. Pffftt. How much uglier are we possibly talking?

OK so War of the Planet of the Apes mini-review:
If you like the PotA movies, go see this. You will not be sorry.
If you don't like them, then duh, don't see it. (See Wonder Woman instead because it is practically flawless.)
Andy Sirkis, Woody Harrelson, and the rest of the cast totally committed themselves to their roles, which made this totally absurd premise believable.
A few people in the theater (I think they were together) walked out after the outcome of the war was apparent, but before the film was completely over. I don't know if they were having an emergency, or if they were displeased with the turn of events. I don't think most will feel that way, but OTOH I can see where some might be uncomfortable with it. That's how it is with wars.
I saw it in 2D, but it's also available in 3D. 3D was worth it for Wonder Woman, but I doubt it would add anything to this movie. Runtime is 2:22, so if time is money, you'll get more than your money's worth.

Baby pics again. I was so taken with these little hawks I photographed them endlessly, as their tree was close to home. I was out there so much, and they apparently knew I was interested in them, that they began to watch ME.
Most of the times when I would show up with my camera, before many minutes they would spot me and climb up enough to keep an eye on me. That is the main reason i got the cute pics of them looking directly into the lens.

Ew, the Ceti eel larva. I remember, Diana. It was in the movie. Khan said it made its subjects susceptible to suggestion (which would explain a lot of TN characters), but from what we saw, it just made them docile and obedient.
You, guys, arr vicious! I love your death suggestions. Letting them eat one another or just perish in the dessert are my favorites. Handing them over to Danilow might be too easy- if he just shoots them, where is the fun?
I find Tona to be the worst. This is a woman making other women suffer undescribable pain just for her own joy and wealth. Fausto is just a sleaze and Blake an old-fashioned villain, but Isidro is close to Tona in despicable evilness, imo. They almost make rapist Danilow bearable and Assbun redeemable, right?

Julie..OT...Thanks for the Apes review. I liked the first three movies , but the newer ones are not as interesting to me. Someone on TV was raving about the actor who plays the boss ape. Hubba and I have always loved going to the movies , and there is not much we really want to see except Dunkirk, so we may succumb and go to see Apes this week. We are having a stay at home vacation before our next trip to see our older daughter next month ,which means the back yard, movies, and meals out. Unfortunately,it also includes cleaning closets for me. Meh. I return to teach on August 21..unless I classes do not fill and right now, it is not looking good.

Tadeo, IMO, is definitely heading in the wrong direction...not necessarily the music business, but who he is dealing with--Morgana, Ausencio and Danilow. Danilow seemed to have been brushing him off until Ausencio told him that Tadeo's song was pretty good and he could be a "jewel" for Furia.

Diana, I agree that life was so much easier..better..nicer for teens back in the day. Girls got constant messages from parents, relatives, clergy,TV, movies, books, magazines, music NOT to have sex until married. I was even a wee bit scared of being alone with boys. Most dates were double dates, but my teen years were filled with group activities..parties, dances, basketball and baseball games, picnics, swimming, skating and lots of spin the bottle. It was great. When I taught in an upper middle class senior high, there was a lot of drinking and drugs among the kids...and a lot of negativity and apathy.

Regia aka Stella, Laura: our lead protagonist has a few dubious credits: kidnapping, forced prostitution, smoking (!), and who knows what else. Is there any unblemished character in this TN? Yes, Paloma. The rest are flawed big time.
While Danilo is obnoxious and psychopathic, worthy of all the contumely and contempt Viewerville has hurled upon him, I still find him the most interesting devil in this melodrama. Besides his outstanding good looks, he has a genuine sweet spot for Paloma. I can't help but feeling he will meet his end somehow in defense of the child.

You know, at first when Ausencio offered to listen to Tadeo's song, I thought he was going to steal it. But then he seemed genuinely impressed with him.
Alfredo, you didn't miss anything - we don't know what happened with Isidro. It just seems rather casual now to assume that Danilo killed him, as he's found that to be an effective way to make problems go away. But even if he did kill him, we've already seen that killing doesn't always "take."

Had another thought this afternoon. What if El Droado is not a woman, but a child? That could also explain why BunMan is so intent on protecting this mysterious person. (This idea inspired by a different Star Trek episode.) (Or another one, where El Dorado is BunMan's nice twin without a beard.)

Good Morning! It's a humid morning here in the RGV, but I at least I got about .01% of rain last night.
Kirby, ITA that Geneseasy was quick to react and that she should have given Steve an opportunity to explain. I also agree that "If she doesn't figure it out by the weekend, then you are not important enough to her anyway." I'm not defending her, but from this woman's view, if a man tells a woman he is sick, he should know that the woman will most likely do something to try to make him feel better. I good friend once told me that if you must lie, keep as close to the truth as possible. Steve could have told Geneseasy that he needed to help Ryan with a situation instead of telling her he was sick. Nina didn't help much either. With the little chance she had to say something, she could have backed up Steve and told Geneseasy things weren't as it looked; instead she tells her that she didn't know Steve was her BF and it was he that called her (there's the cherry bomb). Again, I do agree that Geneseasy is being unreasonable...she has had enough time to know that Steve is trustworthy.

I'm not defending her, but from this woman's view, if a man tells a woman he is sick, he should know that the woman will most likely do something to try to make him feel better. I good friend once told me that if you must lie, keep as close to the truth as possible. Steve could have told Geneseasy that he needed to help Ryan with a situation instead of telling her he was sick. Nina didn't help much either. With the little chance she had to say something, she could have backed up Steve and told Geneseasy things weren't as it looked; instead she tells her that she didn't know Steve was her BF and it was he that called her (there's the cherry bomb). Again, I do agree that Geneseasy is being unreasonable...she has had enough time to know that Steve is trustworthy.
What I am glad Steve did not do is grab her or block the door like all TN guys do to girls when they won't listen.
And it is true, a well-intentioned lie is still a lie. He could have just told her the truth to begin with and stuck to his guns if she didn't want him helping Ryan. I had forgotten about his big 'Sick' story.

Yeah RGV Chik, I saw the news about the weather in Texas and thought you might benefit, but that was hundreds of miles North of you. The weather in RGV has been clearing it's throat, out in the Gulf near you but not much else. It has been raining two or three times a day here, timed, apparently, to coincide with when I have something not waterproof disassembled.outside.

Then, I was thinking about what I wanted to say as I was making coffee. Well, I can not wait to see what is happening in that van tonight. With so much senseless violence in the news, I do not want to envision awful events..I just want the villains to evaporate.
As to Genesis, perhaps, she has been lied to and cheated on by a former Beau. When that happens, it is very hard to trust guys , especially when you catch them in a lie.#lyingguys

Sue, most of these which appear pretty close I am probably thirty feet away give or take. Eagles in a tree sometimes maybe twice that if it is a tall tree. Ducks and others on the ground, lots of times I can sneak up very close, maybe 15 or 20 feet away. Where I can, I go in a big 4 wheel drive which is pretty tall and in/on it gets me up off the ground a little. By Federal law, you must stay a good distance from Bald Eagle nests, UNLESS the Eagles decides to build near existing human activity. IE: out in a cow pasture you must stay away. But if they decide to build in a tree in the Target parking lot, fair game. It is like who was there first.
Rgv, I don't know whose child. Maybe the original El D's child, or BunMan's own child. It has to be someone very close, because BunMan's tying himself in knots to protect this person.
(I was just thinking about the Star Trek episode where they're threatened by a creepy-looking creature. Kirk bluffs him into submission, but when he beams over to the spaceship, it turns out the creature was just a puppet and the actual guy looks like a little boy. That was Clint Howard, brother of Ron.)
I don't remember BunMan having any phone calls with El Dorado that weren't in front of other people, so of course he'd be very respectful. Or, who's to say that he's even speaking to the kid. He could be speaking to the nanny, or he could be speaking to Dial-a-Prayer.

OT..Okay, Alfredo, do not read the next sentence if you do not want to be spoiled. The bump (separation ) lasts 20 years which translates into 23 chapters and 5 episodes Reunited in chapter 24 and episode 6. Reunited and it feels so good ! #peachescandherb

Do you think that Dan is going to somehow take care of the folks in that van?

Julie..I loved Star Trek and saw all the movies. I think that my favorite character was Scotty. I have been in many situations through out the years when I wished that he could indeed "beam me up " and out.

Hey, sometimes I think Scotty is beaming TN characters back and forth between locations. Usually, if Laura (for example) is in one place and then goes somewhere else, there's another scene in between to act as a buffer for her travel time. Or there's an establishing shot of the outside of the next building to let us know of the changed location. But sometimes the buffer scene or establishing shot is missing, and it's as if she just teleported to the other place or beamed over.
Didn't think much about it when they announced Doble Vida would be split into two seasons, but now it's bugging me. The odds are some of the villains will continue to Season 2, but I sure hope Mr. Blake, La Tona, and Fausto are gone.

Julie, it's true that AssBun has only talked to El D on the phone in front of others, but there was also the man who talked to El D (or so it was implied) on the phone when LauStela sneaked into El D's house. Regardless, they could be talking to the wind as you say.

On the bright side, if Ryan or someone, hell anyone, kills DaniLowDown we no longer need worry about that dam twenty per-friggin-cent. Say LauStela IS pg, but DaniLowDownBelowTheGround is dead, it still do not really matter.

What I think of as surf music is instrumental stuff from the 60s... like Wipeout or Pipeline or Mr Moto. Although I guess most surf music isn't instrumental only... I mean, think of the Beach Boys.
