Enamorandome de Ramon, #41 10.10.17: Ramon and Fabiola on again, off again, on again, oh no off again…Never mind
Repeated Scene:
Juana walks into Andrea’s room finds her crying and asks her what is
wrong. Andrea keeps repeating “I did not kill them, I did not kill them” Juana
tells her "you are talking, you are talking".
New scenes:
Andrea realizes oh yeah I’m talking, they hug each other and smile and breathe
a sigh of relief.
Ramon walks up to Fabiola and says that he needs her, she tells him not
to say anything, just kiss me. They both awkwardly look around and begin to
kiss. They till each other they love each other. She says that when he keeps
things from her she becomes insecure. He says you are my present and then they
kiss. Benito sees them kissing and guesses the sign worked.
Juana and Andrea continue to be happy about her talking. Juana then
asks Andrea what she meant when she said she did not kill them. Andrea tells
Juana that she had a nightmare where she was made to feel that she was
responsible for her parents’ death. She then tells Juana that she did feel that
she was guilty because if she had not asked for that architecture book her
parents would not have changed their flight. Juana wisely tells her that it was
destiny. She is not guilty for her parents’ death.
Benito is standing in front of the “I love you with all my heart sign”
when Luisa happens to come by, she thinks he put it up and asks him if he put up
there for her. He says of course he did, who else would he put it up there for (wink, wink).
She tells him she loves him too, because he is the love of her life. Benito
tells her “so everything is ok between us?” no she says, not until his mother
accepts their relationship. Ok then, he tells her that at the end of the day
she should come over to his house so they can tell his mom about their
relationship together.
Juana and Andrea keep trying to figure out how she was able to talk.
They determine that it was all the sadness about her aunt passing away. Juana
tells her she is so happy to have her little “parrot” back.
In a taxi Ramon and Fabi keep kissing, and she asks how early did he
have to get up to put up that sign. He confesses he did not sleep but it does
not matter it was worth it. Fabi then gets a call from Andrea and Fabi can’t
believe she is talking, she tells taxi driver to turn around go back to her
house. Ramon tells her he can’t go back because he has to go to work. Taxi
driver drops Ramon off, he kisses her and tells her he will see her later, Fabi
goes back to her house.
Julio is at his desk looking at his new balance online. He then calls
Gretta to confirm the game is still on. $50,000 entry fee and $400,000 to the
winner. (pesos of course). His secretary calls him tells him he has a call from
Marco Curtaza, the man at the solar energy company where Juana will be
investing her money. He tells Julio that he needs Juana to come in to sign some
documents, and that way he can meet her as well.
Fabi gets home and tells Andrea to talk, say whatever even if it’s cray
things like she used to say before. Andrea tells Fabi she loves her a lot and
Fabi hugs her tells her she loves her more. They discuss the reason for her
blocked speech. Fabi tells Andrea that she is glad that she can speak already. Fabi also tells Andrea that Ramon said that he
is really happy for her. Juana asks how come Fabi is bringing messages from Ramon;
she thought they were mad at each other.
Well not anymore Juana, because Ramon put up a sign that was pretty
impressive, and now they made up. (so keep up girl - on again) Fabi leaves to go to work and Andrea goes to
the university.
Maggie is in her office Porfirio comes in. Maggie tells him about
Virginia, Porfirio invites her to lunch. Isn’t girlfriend going to get mad?
Porfirio’s says not and anyway she is in a meeting with a client.
Fabi goes into Antonio’s office to tell him the good news about Andrea.
He is very happy. Ramon comes in to talk to Antonio because he had summoned
him. Antonio wants him to get ready because they are going to Cuernavaca to
look at a collection of cars for a client. Ramon is ready to go whenever
Antonio says; Ramon and Fabi give each other the lovey dovy look and Antonio
notices but says nothing.
He asks Fabi to please pick up Diego at 1 for him, since he is going
out of town. She is more than happy to do it.
Ramon goes to get ready gets his tools, Dalia notices that Ramon is
getting ready to leave and says “where are you going? I wanted us to go have
lunch” Ramon says it will have to be another time. Antonio gets there and Ramon
and he leave. Dalia texts Frank to tell him Ramon won’t be around in case he
wants to come by to see Fabi.
Andrea finds Jorge and begins to talk, he hears her and asks her how
did this happen. She confesses that it was because she kept thinking about him.
Luisa comes to tell Juana that she and Benito made up; because he put
up a sign for her (Juana immediately knows Benito lied but she does not say
anything to Luisa – she’s a good friend).
Juana tells her that Andrea talks already and Luisa says that she is glad for them.
Julio gets to the girls apartment and tells Juana that she has meeting with the solar company.
Andrea and Jorge discuss how she came to talk, she tells him about the
dream that she had where she was blaming herself about her parents death, but
she realizes that their deaths were part of their destiny, and Virginia’s death
is the same thing. He should not blame himself for her death. Andrea then says that they should not be
separated because they love each other, and who cares if they are cousins if
it’s because of the children having genetic problems then they will not have
kids they can adopt. But Jorge says he now realizes that being together is a
mistake and that his mom paid with her life for that mistake. So he suggests they need to stay away from each other.
Andrea brings Diego to her office. Diego begins by spilling the beans
about his baby brother or sister.
Frank walks in and Diego tells him that he shouldn’t be there because
Fabi has a boyfriend. Frank tries to be friendly towards Diego, but Diego has a sixth sense and can smell a rat, Diego would rather go with Lucho. So he leaves.
Jorge tells Andrea that their relationship can’t be, he loves her but
will try to only love her like a cousin, and she should do the same. Andrea
cries but Jorge is adamant that they have to both forget about loving each
other any other way than family. He leaves her there crying.
Fabi is telling frank that she has already told him many times that she
does not want him coming around, especially now that she and Ramon have made
up. Well Frankie loves her and will not give up because she will soon realize
that she is with Ramon only out of stubbornness. When her blindfold comes off
he will be there because he always has loved her (money) and always will (love
her money).
Porfirio and Maggie are having lunch, she is drunk and giggly Vero
shows up she gets jealous that they are having so much fun. Maggie tells her
why do you worry, you are the one sleeping with him?
Andrea comes home crying tells Juana about losing her love. He wants
nothing with her, because he is an idiot. Juana tells her that is how love is.
She consoles her.
At the convent sister Ancelma tells Julio that Virginia had said that
she wanted to take Betito home, "so are you still thinking of taking Betito
home?" "nope not I. He is better off here with you". He writes her a check for the
care of Betito and leaves.
Antonio drops off Ramon at his house, he leaves and then Dalia comes
out of nowhere with tacos for dinner. Since Ramon has not eaten he invites her
in.
Luisa and Benito are at Fredezvina's house waiting for her. Fredesvina
sees Luisa and asks what she’s doing there. Luisa jumps at the opportunity and
tells Fredez that Benito and she are boyfriend and girlfriend, Fredez plays her
little ignoring game. Benito worries that Fredez is losing her mind.
At Ramon’s he tells Dalia that he needs to change his shirt and change
the dressing on his ribs because he feels uncomfortable. She offers to help
change it; he removes his shirt and his bandage. Then of course a knock at the
door happens to be Fabiola, she walks in and asks Dalia what the hell is she
doing there? Fabi has another tantrum and tells Ramon that it doesn’t matter if
it’s Sofia or Dalia he is the worst. She runs out of the apartment, he chases after her. He tells her he is not lying to look at
his eyes. He tries to kiss her but Dalia walks out to inject a little more of
her venom. She says she is leaving in order to avoid causing more problems
between them. She doesn’t understand why Fabi has a problem with her and Ramon
being friends since they are like brother and sister, especially since she
spent all afternoon with Frankie. Oh well she leaves after dropping that dose
and it worked because Ramon then asks Fabi why she is spending time with Frank.
Fabi does not like that Ramon is now blaming her when he is the one that was
shirtless in his room with Dalia. She hails a cab and leaves. (in case you missed it - off again)
At Fredez Luisa tries to talk to Fredez. She tells her that when Fredez was in Chicago
she stayed with Benito and “let me tell you, your son is all man, he may be
small but he is hot.” Fredez keeps ignoring Luisa, offers her coffee or hot
chocolate. Benito thinks his mom is going looney.
Hortensia is home alone and has one of her dizzy spells. She calls
Frank who has his hands full with blond bimbo. He is too busy, so he says he
will see her tomorrow and promptly hangs up on her.
Benito walks Luisa home and tells Luisa that he thinks his mother is sick, but Luisa does not
buy it. However, she has to admit that regardless of whether Fredez is crazy or
not he kept his end of the bargain and that deserves a reward. So she begins to
kiss him, a noisy neighbor walks by and sees them kissing.
Juana and Andrea are talking about the meeting with the solar company.
She is nervous about the meeting and asks Andrea to go. Well Andrea tells her that tio Julio is going
already and that it’s no big deal Juana. (Really not a big deal girl) Fabi shows up all
mad, and Juana asks her what’s up (but by now she should not have to ask right
– because here we go again in the merry go round).
At the shop the same exact scene of two days ago takes place Ramon,
talking to Dalia and Fabi walks in gives them another dirty look and walks away
(it’s like the writers ran out of ideas – please Sofia come already)
Vero talking to Porfirio, she pretends that the fact that he is giving Maggie a very important case does not bother (but it does).
Frankie checking Hortensia’s vitals but finds there is nothing wrong
but sends her to a specialist.
Porfirio gives Maggie a high profile case and she is thrilled he trusts
her.
Juana goes to borrow a dress from Luisa for the famous meeting with the
Solar Company. Luisa will let her borrow, but Juana should truly consider
buying one of her own.
Antonio goes to ask Fabi to get Diego again today, he is going with Roxy to get DNA results, they discuss the baby situation.
She asks if he is going back to Roxy if the baby is his, but he says he is not
sure.
Andrea and Jorge at the university have an argument, she tells him she
can’t stop thinking about him and he says they can’t hang around together
because they have to forget each other. Ok well go find someone that will make
you forget me she tells him, he then says you should do the same.
At the hospital Antonio asks Roxy why she told Diego about the baby,
she lies and says that he was worried about her so she did it to give him peace
of mind. Antonio not happy because it gives Diego false hope about them forming
a family again and it may not be possible.
At the university, a new student (young good looking man) asks Andrea
directions to the Architecture department, well she is walking that way so she
will show him. He thanks her and then asks for her number so they can go out
for coffee or something. Andrea gives him her number and then leaves (this here
young man is the one that will make her forget Jorge)
At the hospital the unscrupulous doctor gives Antonio and Roxy the fake
results, and tells Antonio that he is the father of the baby. Antonio looks
surprised.

Andrea does not notice that there is absolutely NO similarity, physical or personality, between Jorge and either of his parents or his brother? GONG
Ramon does not notice that anything having to do with Dalia, even an offhand dribble of information, results in a blowup or beatdown? GONG
Porfy does not notice that as it begins to look like non-bachelor number 1 may have a fake baby on the way Marggie is suddenly all over him? GONG
Is it only me that realizes that Nurse Goodbody is the only female in the show who has her shit together? GONG #funchickwithnodrama

Any hope that Julio might reveal Betito’s existence was shattered last night. In fairness, Betito likely requires round the clock care which would leave Julio little or no time to spend at the casino and not allow him to put in his 2-3 hour workdays!
The bickering and seesawing between Fabiola and Ramon must stop! When they received news of Andrea’s regaining her speech, Ramon was clearly delighted! This is the happy, content couple we want (and need) to see. These petty arguments and childish jealousies must cease and desist. Dalia is adding her little bit of fuel to the fire but like you, I cannot wait for Sofia! She will surely fan the flames!

Dear little Diego was a delight as always. I wish he had kept his secret to himself. Now that BadFran knows, his roomie, Augustin will surely be apprised shortly. At least the doctor appeared to be somewhat embarrassed to lie to Antonio about the baby. This is not going to end well.
Part of me does like Juana (honestly though it’s due to Marisol) but her deference to the “family” annoys me. I want to see more independence and spunk. Taking care of two young women (who should be perfectly capable of taking care of themselves) and managing their money should not be your whole lie.
Was so happy to see Gabi (from PyP and Familia) as the potential new love interest for Andrea. I love Jorge otherwise, I’d already be sitting at his table.
Perhaps Rulo took the day off to indulge in a much needed shower and shampoo.

Diana, wasn't he the Sister's boyfriend in P&P, but now with a beard and much shorter hair? I thought we saw 'David' from P&P last night, the one who Daniela stole from Regina.

I was surfing in and out between this show and The Voice , so I missed the new guy who approached Andrea. Did he use a good pick up line? Is it the same actor who has a part in Mi Marido ? Was he Dave who slept with both sisters on P y P ? #hounddog
Frankerfurter and Nurse Naughty remind me of my awful Obgyn who was hitting on the anesthesiologist while I was in labor. #hatedhimandher #focusonmeplease

I believe he asked for directions. Now because no man I've ever known has ever actually ASKED for directions, I'm assuming yes, it is a pick up line :)

Hi, All. I've been so busy I haven't watched the whole episode or read the recap :-/ but from the comments and the little I did see, seems like not much has changed. I did get to see the new love interest for Andrea, though; and I am enjoying him in Mi Marido, so Diana, I'm with you...if Jorge wasn't such a sweetie. I'd be at "Gabi's" table too!
OT BTW, cool front came in yesterday so it's a nice 66 degrees here...and with lots of rain!!

Haven't had to turn the furnace on (yet), but am hearing we are in for a bruiser of a winter. I know "they" say that every year but the temperatures are so out of sync right now, nothing would surprise me.

CHickie..so glad that you are getting much needed rain. Like DIana, we have had unusually warm, muggy weather here. The kids have been wearing shorts and tees to school everyday. We need rain , and some is predicted. A cold winter has been threatened here, too, but it is so unseasonably warm and humid that it is hard to imagine.
Kirby.."goats in coats"..I can always count on you to give me a giggle. It made me think of Hubba's favorite book as a child "Mr. Goat PUt on HIs Coat." Try to imagine a six foot\ two hundred pound guy quoting lines from this book with his mother.

Thanks, yes, the rain is great ad the grass is startingto grow...Haaallelujah!! LOL "goats in coats" too funny Kirby, but maybe that could be a new trend. Actually today will be the only cool day here. It'll be back up in the high 80's-low 90's for the rest of the week...but it sure is a nice break from the norm!

Yeah, restless Roxy started the ball rolling by being bored with her life as a wife and mother and leaving for an adventure. Then, Marg saw Ant as fair game , and Ant responded.Then, Ant started looking good to Roxy again. Geez. I really do not think that any of these people should end up together. Thank you Sandie, great job! I must have missed something so can someone please explain to me (I looked through yesterday's recap too) about the DNA test and the unethical doctor? Did Roxana pay the doctor to give them results that say that Antonio is the father?

A friendship existed initially between Roxie and Antonio. They clearly liked and were drawn to one another. A real affection seemed to be developing. Had they allowed this to blossom naturally, things might have been different. But Margarita jumped a bit too prematurely, which Antonio did not shy away from. Here's a revelation: give your mind and heart more than a moment to heal, to reflect.
Now of course, Marg is "all in". Antonio may seem to have more choices, but I just can't see him leaving Diego, his unborn child (even if he finds out he isn't the father) and yes, even Roxie, to go off with Margarita. I did think it would be an ironic twist if Marg met Augustin and they ended up together - with the baby being his.

Cynthia, I don't think that Roxy actually paid the doctor to lie about who the father was, but she did beg him to lie to preserve her "family." I do not like Roxy. She is flighty, valid, whiny, and conniving. And yes, Juana could at least go to one braid instead of the two preschool piggytails. She is a little too old to pull off that look.

As far as Benito goes...As you approach adulthood, and realize you have somehow survived a toxic "family", the smart ones do not stay around and try to 'fix' Mom and Pop. That is not your job. You put as much real estate (miles) as possible between yourself and them. Miles or saltwater.

Susanna, I think I've cut Roxie more slack than many, mostly for Diego's sake.
Kirby, I totally agree about Benito. I think he and Luisa are cute but his constant coddling and protectiveness toward his mother is way too much. Especially as she is a mean spirited individual who is never going to accept Luisa.

If I recall, Roxie said to the doctor if he does not 'fix' the DNA results she would have to get an abortion because Augustin would not make a good father and Antonio is an excellent father. The screwball doctor was persuaded by Roxie's threat. He should have said, "well it's your decision to have an abortion not mine. I'm not 'fixing' the results. " How the TRUTH will come out is anyone's guess. Assuming Roxie bring the child to term, either Antonio or Augustin will have to seek another opinion.
