Enamorandome de Ramon, #68 11.21.17: Fabi and Ramon kiss and don’t make up, But Jorge and Andrea do.
Patio, my apologies for the condensed recap, the episode was deleted by accident. So I got most of what I remembered.
Fabi is standing staring at Ramso, when from behind Ramon touches her
shoulder and with that sultry voice asks her why she is crying. She turns
around and looks at him longingly. She asks him “why did you ruin my life?” he
replies with “why did you tear up my life?” Ramon tries to explain for the 100th
time that he had been ready to go to the civil court to be married to her but
that he was kidnapped. And that Sofia had been there to ask him not to get
married, and had been there only by chance, and the kidnappers took her too.
Fabi says she does not believe him. She will not accept any of his explanations.
At their picnic Jorge and Andrea declare their love for each other they
kiss each other and Jorge takes off his shirt and helps Andrea take hers off.
All Ramon wants to know is “are you happy with Francisco” Fabi does not
answer “I feel the same way, what we both feel is unmatched” he then gets close
to her and gets his answer when they kiss each other. As they continue to kiss,
Sofia shows up and startles them. Fabi says there is your “just by chance” and
gets in her car and leaves.
Sofia chides Ramon because she thought he was there to work, “yes I am
here to work” and he heads on to the shop.
He tells her that he wants to get the family together and let them know
that they love each other. Andrea does not think this is the time to do it.
In her car Fabi is thinking about what just happened and wonders if
Ramon is telling her the truth because he kissed her as if he loved her, “but
that can’t be, he stayed with that other woman”. Fabi is completely confused,
and decides that she can’t fall for Ramon again; she is after all a married
woman. (Please Fabi- Frank does not care about your vows).
At Maggi’s house Porfirio is waiting outside for her when Antonio
drives up. Porfi tells him that he is waiting for Maggie because he wants to
apologize and tell her that he loves her. Antonio tells him that she is very
hurt and to not waste his time. Porfirio says that he will fight for her love,
that he regrets not having done it sooner. Ant says well she is with me now,
and I won’t allow it. “well I don’t care if she is with you, that does not
affect my feelings towards her and I will fight for her” (good for you Porfi)
Maggie overhears this last part and tells him that she will never ever forgive
him and then goes to Antonio and they both walk in the building, as they walk
away Porfi tells Maggie that someday she will forgive him.
Finito visits Luisa, takes her some chocolates and some tortas from his
restaurant. He asks for Dalia because he wants to ask Dalia for Luisa’s hand in
marriage. Luisa is shocked and tells him that she is not ready to take that
step. She hurriedly gets rid of Finito and thinks to herself that she has
gotten herself into trouble again. (Ya think?)
Benito continues to be upset at Ada and Fredesvina, so is very short
with them and leaves.
Inside Antonio asks Maggie if she will forgive Porfirio, she changes
the subject without out answering the question and instead wants to talk about
Diego better. Antonio tells her that he went to look for Diego and Roxy but she
never showed up at home
At Marta’s Diego asks Roxy if he is going to school tomorrow, “No, but
I asked your teacher for permission so you could come with me” she tells him to
go take a bath that she will help him.
At the Medina girls house, Andrea informs Juana that she is not leaving
to Chile after all, Juana asks her why, and Andrea tells her that she was going
to miss her family too much. Juana is happy that she is not leaving. “What
about Santiago?” well Andrea says “he won’t be happy but his priorities are the
University in Chile, and my priority is my family”
Next day Antonio goes to school to look for Diego, the teacher tells
him that Diego has not shown up, the bell rings to start school and she leaves
him to go tend to her class.
Frank shows up late to take Fabi to the bank for the money transfer,
but Fabi does not care they are still in time.
Antonio goes to Roxy’s house; the maid informs him that Roxy and Diego
are not there. He runs into the house to confirm this. She tells him it looks
like they are gone for the weekend because the beds are made.
At the bank, the transfer of the Money from Juana is made and Fabiola
looks concerned (as you should be dumb girl, Mr. Slick will take no time to
take the money and run). Juana just smiles at her tells her she wishers her
luck with her plans and then leaves. Francisco is also there and looks pleased
with his accomplishment, Fabi not so much.
Antonio calls Maggie let’s her know Roxana took Diego; she took clothes
for both of them. Maggie tells him to go ahead and go to police station to make
a report. She will meet him there.
As she is getting ready to leave Don Pedro shows up with some files
that he wants her to handle in his absence. One is a case that they will be
fighting and the defendants are represented by Porfirio’s law firm. Maggie says
she will handle because work is work.
At Julio’s house he informs Luisa that she will be the one taking care
of Hortensia the Horrible, Luisa is shocked and not pleased but she has no
choice because her boss is asking her to do it.
At Police station the officer first tells Antonio that there is nothing
that can be done because Diego is with his mother, but when Maggie explains
that there is a divorce pending and that Roxy has ignored two court orders to
appear the officer says they will issue an Amber alert for Diego and begin
looking for Roxy and Diego.
Hortense the Horrible is horrified to find out that Luisa is her new
care taker, she refuses but guess what granny Julio does not give a flying leap
about what you want you either accept Luisa or it’s off to the convalescent
home for you. Julio and Jorge leave before Hortense can spit her fire, Luisa is
a no nonsense type of girl and tells her straight out “with me you better
behave”, Hortensia is mortified and begins insulting but Luisa goes off to get
her some oatmeal (in one ear out the other as it should be with HTH---good for
you Luisa)
Andrea runs into Santi at school and lets him know that she is no
longer going to Chile with him. He asks her why and she tells him that she cannot
deny her feelings for Jorge and even if she leaves she will not forget him.
Santi tells her that he is hurt but that all he wants is for her to be happy.
Later she runs into Jorge and tells him how Santi reacted, and he says
he can understand why he fell in love with her but “I was here first”. She also
tells him what she told Juana about not leaving anymore.
Roxy is at Marta’s house, and she invites her to go out with a friend.
Roxy says “what are we going to do with Diego?” well the maid can watch him.
Roxy agrees and tells Diego she is going out with Marta, Diego wants to go with
them but Roxy says he can’t, he gets upset but Roxy sends him to the pool, and
goes to get ready.
Adalgisa calls Benito to find out if he is coming for dinner so they
can wait for him, he is not “and don’t be calling me at work” he hangs up on
her and she tells Fredesvina that she is done Benito will never forgive them.
Later she is walking along the street and sits down to cry, Finito sees
her offers her his hankie and tells her some of his sayings. She thinks he sounds
like an angel. He tells her he knows where her pain is coming from since he has
the same pain.
Roxy meets Marta’s friend and guess what?, he is a good catch so Ms.
Roxy will not let him escape, she offers her services as an assistant to him,
since he travels so much and she likes to travel. (Roxy sure wastes no time)
Luisa warns Hortensia that she throws the soup again she will not
change her sheets and she will have to lie down on dirty sheets. Julio shows up
and Hortensia complains, but Julio does not believe her. She believes Luisa.
Julio gets to Juana’s house and asks her to invite him to dinner. Also
tells her that he cleared his agenda to be able to take Andrea to the airport
tomorrow. Juana lets him know that Andrea is not leaving anymore because she
will miss her family too much. Juana then tells Julio to let’s have dinner, she
runs into the kitchen and Julio stays back, rolls his eyes with frustration.

Jorge and Andrea have broken their internal barriers about being cousins for good. For them it will no longer be an obstacle.
They were in a public park, pretty open space. I imagine taking off each other's shirts may violate some decency laws.
What exactly does Fabi not believe? That Ramon was kidnapped? It is easy to verify. Ramon can take her to an eyewitness - Good Sam - who can describe her the whole escape scene. Can check the status of the police investigation. The only thing left would be the photo. If she shows it to Ramon, he will realize immediately that it was kidnappers that took it and send it. Which will point to the motive and the suspect - Franc.
I think now Fabi is afraid of the truth because it will make evident what a fool she is. So she prefers to keep her head in the sand and keep up appearances. Realizing your mistake and keeping with it makes you a bigger fool.

I'm afraid I must wash my hands of no longer fabulous Fabi. She is calling the man who loves her more than anything a liar, despite verifiable proof to the contrary.

I believe that Sophia's persistence may not be viewed very favorably by some. While under ordinary circumstances I would likely agree, with all due respect, I cannot do so here. Sophia and Ramon met and fell in love. Through no fault of hers, her father separated them. She gave up everything to save his life. She never lost hope and tried valiantly to find him. Yes, she found him as he was on his way to the alter, but the marriage never took place. After, not only did NoFab not believe him but married her ex in mere days!!
And while I can't fault Ramon for falling in love (as he had no idea what occurred), I can blame him for refusing to see what is before him. A woman who has no confidence in you, not even believing you endured one of the worst times in your life, but will not even consider the facts or admit she made a mistake! And then, in this corner, the beautiful warrior princess, who fought tooth and nail for you and your love. And you want just friendship.
I don't see how the writers are going to salvage this. I think this is already thrown in the trash.

Rgv Chick, I'm going to find and dust off my beanie (last worn for Sueno and Vino).
If anyone deserves a happy ending it's Sophia. But her horizon looks bleak to me.
I am speculating (no spoiler) that somehow, they are going to try and get Sophia out of the picture. I have a sneaking suspicion her father will crawl out of the woodwork before this ends. That does not bode well.

RGV Chick: Yes I have to clarify the episode was deleted but I had watched it, I like to go back to it to get the dialogue and could not this time. I did look online to try to get some parts, but my cable provider is about 2 episodes behind. I was afraid that the order of the recap would be out of whack, and I know I missed some scenes but hopefully they were minor scenes.
I had a hard time coming up with a title because so many parts were moving yesterday, we saw most characters except the MIAs. We even saw rulo and his partner in crime.

Sandy, I completely understand about titles. There are so many storylines, it's hard to come up with something that captures the essence of the entire episode.

Ot...Kirby, I did not get the vaccine last year because i found out that three of my friends never get the vaccine , including a friend whose daughter is a nurse who administers the shots to folks as cars go through a local amusement park ! However, I got pretty sick last year. I am around little kids all the time, and they bring all sorts of germs home from school to share. So this year, we got the super shot. Hope you get well soon...lots of sleep, liquids, hot chicken soup.
