Enamorandome de Ramon #88: Kidnapped Wives & Shady Exes

Andrea asks Fabiola if Francisco locked her in the apartment. She struggles to answer, and Andrea goes to get a locksmith, so he can let her inside. Fabiola curses her luck and calls Francisco, who is basking in the overglow of a hanky panky, to tell him what is happening. He instructs her to tell Andrea that she forgot her keys in the car and stall because he is on his way. Francisco curses his luck as well.

Adalgiza asks Benito if he thinks Luisa still loves him. Benito isn’t sure anymore and Adalgiza suggests they give up on being with the one they love. Benito then asks Adalgiza if Finito ever fell for her because then he would have a chance with Luisa. Adalgiza doesn’t know but Finito told her today they couldn’t be friends because he doesn’t want to betray Luisa, even with his thoughts. Benito thinks that is the way back to Luisa’s heart because, if Finito is worried about his thoughts, that means he feels something for her. Adalgiza asks if he plans to break Finito and Luisa up but Benito will do something better: he and Adalgiza will make sure Luisa and Finito end up with the people they are destined to be with. Adalgiza smiles and nods.

The locksmith opens the door and Andrea demands to know what is going on. Jorge pays the locksmith and goes to Andrea as Fabiola explains that she forgot her keys and they lock up for safety. Andrea doesn’t believe one word, especially because Fabiola wanted to get divorced yesterday and now she’s locked inside her house. Jorge begs her to trust them and Fabiola considers this but can’t stay anything as Francisco walks in. He is sorry she forgot her keys but he’s there now and gives her a kiss. Jorge demands to know how Francisco know about the keys and he tells them that he spoke with Fabiola on the way over. Everyone grows quiet and then Francisco asks if they believe him, but they don’t, and Andrea will keep an eye on her sister moving forward. Francisco thinks they have no right to tell him anything, especially after what they did, but Jorge demands he not touch that topic. Francisco demands they leave his apartment as they have no moral high ground and Fabiola agrees. Andrea and Jorge lave then and, once alone, Fabiola tells Francisco that she could not hate him more. She storms off as Francisco smiles to himself.

Outside the building, Andrea and Jorge realize that Fabiola and Francisco are not happy. In fact, he may be threatening her with something because she didn’t even contradict him. Andrea thinks they must do something, quickly, but, if she doesn’t trust them, then there’s little they can do. Andrea decides to call Juana, as Fabiola will trust her, and they agree to meet later, when Julio comes to take care of Hortensia since her nurse had to leave early. Andrea agrees, and they hang up.

Francisco is watching TV when he asks Fabiola for dinner. She gives him a look, but he reminds her that being a good wife is part of the deal. She goes to the kitchen to prepare something as Francisco gets a call from Rebeca, who demands to know where he is. Francisco explains that he had to leave but he left a note with the receptionist. Rebeca chides him for leaving her, but Francisco demands she stop as he doesn’t need any more problems. He instructs her to enjoy the hotel and leave him be, as Fabiola listens to their conversation from the kitchen door, unnoticed.

Margarita calls Antonio to tell him that Porfirio has leukemia and that is why he wouldn’t stop bleeding after their fight. She explains that she found out by coincidence and went to go visit him at the hospital. She can’t believe he wouldn’t tell her about his illness, especially if he’s feeling bad after chemo, but Antonio assumes he didn’t want her to see him like that. He asks if she would like him to go to the hospital and be with them, but Margarita prefers to be alone with Porfirio. Antonio tells her to be strong then and they hang up after a good night.

Osvaldo and Rulo meet his ex-partner-in-crime form the test selling scheme at the university and sell him their whole stash of drugs for a party he’s hosting. Osvaldo thanks him and then guy leaves as Rulo congratulates him on a job well done. Osvaldo then gives him his cut and smiles.

Ramon bids Sofia good night as he’s staying late to finish working on a car. She gets in her own car to leave as Ramon receives a call from the men Sofia hired. They warn him that they are watching them so he better take care of himself and Sofia. Once he hangs up, he stops Sofia from leaving and tells her what happened. She worries that they are in danger and begs him not to leave her alone as he looks around.

Moments later, Ramon calls the detective in charge of their kidnapping case and tells him what happened. He will send a squad car over to watch the shop but there is nothing else they can do right now. Ramon hangs up and tells Sofia, who worries that they are in danger, but Ramon tells her that they will have to keep a close watch and report anyone suspicious as their employees are also in danger. Sofia nods and assumes the men who called were sent by her father, but Ramon thinks it’s ridiculous as he wouldn’t kidnap if he wanted her with him. Ramon thinks it’s someone who is after the insurance policy money the Medina sisters’ parents left them and they are targeting him to get to Juana. Sofia thinks it’s strange either way but there is nothing they can do about it now, so Ramon offers to take her home. Sofia smiles to herself, secretly, and gets her things before leaving with Ramon.

Rosendo calls Lauro and asks him about his prison transfer. Lauro tells him it will be soon and then tells him that Oton, one of the men watching Ramon, already did what she ordered. Rosendo could not be happier to see his daughter behaving like the Vasquez she is, and wishes should could be as resilient in the family business as she is with anything having to do with Ramon.

Julio arrives at Hortensia’s and Juana greets him. She tells Julio that Hortensia behaved very well but talked to her like she had just started working with the Ricardo and Kathy and even asked about Ricardo since he hadn’t come to visit her. Julio will talk to the doctor about her condition, as she doesn’t seem to be getting better, but he prefers his mother now than how she was before. Juana then goes to leave but Julio asks her if she wants to stay the night. Juana laughs off his offer, as she is worried Hortensia may get her memory back and get worse if she sees them together, but Julio thinks it will be okay though he lets the subject drop. He then asks about Fabiola and Juana explains that she is back with Francisco. Julio thinks Fabiola is behaving like a child having multiple mood swings, but Juana can only shrug. She then leaves as Julio sighs and looks at his mother.

Porfirio wakes up and finds Margarita on the chair next to his bed. He tells her that she should go home, as the chair looks uncomfortable, but Margarita will be with him until he gets out of the hospital. Porfirio doesn’t think that will happen, but he can say that he is proud of his life and what he has accomplished. He has one regret: never telling her how much he loved her since they met. He can say it now though, proudly, no matter what happens to him. Margarita goes to say something, but Porfirio stops her because he doesn’t need her to say anything in return, he only needed to tell her how much he loved her. Margarita smiles then and gives him a kiss on the lips. Porfirio smiles, finally relieved to have confessed his biggest secret.

Hortensia wakes up and calls Julio over to her. She is shocked to see him, as she thought he was on a trip, but Julio came to see her every day. She nods and realizes that Ricardo still hasn’t visited her, neither has Virginia. Julio quietly nods, and she asks him to fire their servant as she’s too close with his father and then asks him where his father his. Julio can’t believe Hortensia is this far gone and looks at her.

Ramon arrives at Sofia’s and she asks him to drive her car to his house as it’s too dangerous for him to ride the bus. She asks him to pick her up tomorrow and then gives him a kiss goodnight, on the cheek. As she walks inside, Ramon gets in the car and drives off.

Andrea and Jorge meet with Juana and reveal that they think Francisco has kidnapped Fabiola. They tell her about the locksmith debacle that afternoon and how Fabiola’s excuse sounded fake. They confess that they are shocked to see Fabiola sided with Francisco, who threw them out of their apartment, as well. Juana promises to visit Fabiola tomorrow to talk to her.

Ramon is tossing and turning in bed when Valente turns out the light and asks him what is wrong. Ramon confesses that he thinks about how happy they were in Tijuana before Sofia. He laments how crazy his life has become since he bumped into her. Valente reminds him that without Sofia, he would’ve never met Fabiola. Ramon nods, Fabiola made him the happiest he has ever been in his life, but also the unhappiest. Ramon grows quiet and then laments the fact that Fabiola got back with Francisco and he won’t even be able to see her from afar since she left MedFer. Valente listens intently as Ramon also confesses that he received a threatening phone call from the kidnappers and he just can’t seem to relax. He then tells Valente to stop talking and go to sleep, so he can too. Valente obliges with a slight smile.

Margarita meets Antonio at the hospital cafeteria. She didn’t think he would, as it’s late, but Antonio didn’t want to leave her alone. He asks about Porfirio and Margarita explains that his fever doesn’t break, and they must wait to see how he responds to the treatment. Antonio offers to get her something to eat, though Margarita is not hungry, but he insists as she needs something in her system. Margarita nods but her worry is palpable.

Julio receives a call from the misogynist ranch hand, who tells him that he found someone to sell him the poison for the vegetable garden though it will cost $20,000 pesos. Julio will pay but he wants to know quickly the poison will make its way through the crops. The man tells him that it will be only a couple of hours and then the crops will be unsalvageable. Julio thanks him and hangs up before chiding Juana for not listening to him and making him so this.

The next day, Francisco asks Fabiola to eat something as she’s pregnant and her baby needs the sustenance. Juana then rings the doorbell and Francisco opens the door. He welcomes her but hopes she’s not there to talk about what happened yesterday with Andrea and Jorge. Juana is there to talk about that because Fabiola suddenly doesn’t want to get divorced, even though she did two days ago, and then she locked inside her apartment, like a prisoner, and kicked out her sister, who was only there to help her. Juana knows something is wrong and demands to know the truth. Francisco nods and confesses that Fabiola is pregnant with his child. Fabiola is floored at his disgusting audacity but Juana smiles at the news. Fabiola begins to cry then, and Juana gives her a hug before telling her that having a child is the best blessing and they must celebrate. Fabiola can only look at Francisco, distraught, as he smiles behind Juana’s back.

Antonio and Margarita have breakfast at the hospital and she tells him that she won’t be able to go with him to the bail bondsman, but Antonio can handle it alone, he just needs to document. Margarita assures him she will get it in a bit but suddenly hears a voice over the intercom asking for help with Porfirio. Margarita grabs her things and goes to see what is happening.

Juana smiles wide and proposes that she come every day to cook for her since she must take care of her baby. Fabiola looks at Francisco for a moment and tells Juana that she will be a stay-at-home, so she can cook for herself and her baby, but she thanks her nonetheless. Juana offers to take her to the doctor then, but Francisco reminds her that he can take care of that, but Juana won’t stop taking care of Fabiola because she loves her, and she will think of the baby as her grandson. Fabiola reveals that the baby is her grandson and looks at Francisco, who looks at Fabiola like he’s going to kill her, and Juana asks him to stop as she knows it’s not really her grandson. Francisco then tells Juana they are back together because of the baby and Juana nods before asking Fabiola if she’s been feeling the morning sickness, etc. Fabiola nods as Francisco tells Juana that they must go, as they were on their way out when she arrived, and Juana nods before hugging Fabiola goodbye.

Margarita speaks with a nurse, who tells her Porfirio has gotten worse. Just then, the doctor wheels Porfirio into the OR as Margarita cries in Antonio’s arms.

In the car, Francisco chides Fabiola for telling Juana that the baby is her grandson but Fabiola screams that it’s the truth. Francisco demands she find a way to keep Juana out of house, but Fabiola thinks he made a mistake telling Juana about the baby as she won’t stay away now. She also warns him that his lies will catch up to him, but Francisco doubts it as she will go to jail if anyone discovers the truth. She then asks him where they are going, and Francisco instructs her to write a check for $100,000 pesos as they are going to the bank and he needs the cash, asap. She obliges, begrudgingly.

At the shop, Dalia tells Valente that she barely sees Ramon even though they live together. Valente tells her that he has a lot of problems and he’s been distracted. Dalia is sure his problems are about Fabiola and Valente tells her about Fabiola’s reconciliation and subsequent resignation from MedFer. Dalia is not surprised though, as she always knew Fabiola was a rich girl and nothing else. Ramon and Sofia arrive then, in her car, and Sofia gets out and storms off to her office. Dalia begins to tease Ramon about dating the boss, but he reveals what happened last night with the phone call. Dalia is surprised and asks if he spoke to the police. Ramon did but there is little they can do right now though he instructs them to be alert and tell him if they see anything strange. They both nod and Ramon leaves.

Sometime later, Dalia goes to visit Sofia in her office to tell her Fabiola left MedFer to be a housewife and Sofia hopes she never comes back. She then takes out her checkbook and writes Dalia a check for her services. Dalia smiles wide and accepts, even if she didn’t expect it. She leaves then and Sofia smiles to herself.

At a restaurant, Julio gives the misogynist the money and he tells Julio that they will spread the poison tonight and the crops will be destroyed by tomorrow morning. Julio thanks him and smiles.

In his office, Osvaldo and Rulo discuss their business. Osvaldo tells him that he made the right decision to go into business with him as he knows a lot of rich people who will buy their drugs. Rulo smiles, as they sold their own stash last night, when it usually takes a week. Rulo then proposes another side business: selling used parts as new inside MedFer and selling the new parts outside for more; they even have access to the account books that show the parts were new.

Porfirio’s doctor and his partner discuss their plan of action for the surgery. They hope to stop the hemorrhage soon.

Juana arrives home and goes to tell Dr. Parrot the good news about Fabiola’s pregnancy. She declares that she will love the child no matter what, even if Fabiola is not her daughter, but she laments how the news will make Ramon feel. She wishes it could be Ramon’s, but God works in mysterious ways.

At the hospital, Antonio calls Juana and asks her to please pick up Diego from summer school as he doesn’t want to leave Margarita at the hospital, alone, during Porfirio’s surgery. Juana laments that Porfirio is sick but is happy to pick Diego up. They hang up and Antonio then calls the school to let them know Juana is picking Diego up. He then goes to Margarita, who is worried about how long the surgery is taking, and gives her a big hug. She thanks him for supporting her through this ordeal.

In his room, Francisco counts the money he got from Fabiola when he receives a call from Rebeca, who chides him for ditching her at the hotel last night. Francisco tells her to calm down and asks her why she called. Rebeca explains the Hortensia can walk now and she got her dressed and has her sitting on a chair in her room though she doesn’t recognize her. Francisco is happy to hear it and hopes she doesn’t get any better. He doesn’t notice Fabiola standing behind the door, listening in on the conversation. She wonders who he was talking to before leaving.

Rebeca answers the door for Julio, who is happy to see Hortensia is up. Hortensia, however, thinks Rebeca is the servant who ran way with her husband and orders her to go to the kitchen. Rebeca goes to stand by the bedroom door as Hortensia chides Julio for not visiting her more often since he got married but Julio argues that he has been married for years and visits her every day. He then looks at Rebeca, who can only shrug.

Francisco goes to the bathroom in the bedroom when Fabiola walks in, grabs his cell phone, and memorizes the final number called.

The doctor comes out of the OR and finds Margarita and Antonio. He explains that the operation was a success and they can visit him in a couple of hours. Once alone, Margarita confesses that she almost thought she lost him but is happy that he’s okay. Antonio tells her that they must go eat now and then visit Porfirio. Margarita agrees, and they go.

In the apartment, Juana hangs out with Diego and nits a sweater. Diego asks about it and Juana tells him that a person she loves very much is having a baby and Diego begs her to tell him who it is. He thinks it’s Luisa, but Juana shakes her head and makes him promise not to tell anyone anything if she tells him. Diego nods and Juana confesses that he’s going to be an uncle because Fabiola is pregnant. Diego smiles and Juana makes him promise, again, not today anything. He agrees and jumps up and down, happy about being an uncle.

That night, the two men arrive at the vegetable garden with the poison and several other men. Esteban, sleeping in his cabin, hears noises and dog barks and wakes up as the men spread out along the crops. Esteban, now dressed and with a flashlight in hand, walks around the property, trying to see something. The men see him and hide for a moment before trying to run away. Esteban walks along the crops as the men try to evade him but one of them snaps a twig and Esteban sees him, the partner of misogynistic farmer. The other misogynistic, the one who spoke with Julio, comes up behind Esteban and hits him over the head. He falls, unconscious, as the men run away…

Enamorandome de Ramon #89: Love Games & Rotten Fruit

Esteban is left unconscious in the field as the men run away. They arrive at another part of the crops and begin to spray the poison along with their friends.

As Sofia leaves for the night, she sees Ramon, Ramon and Dalia talking and laughing. She bids them good night, goes to her car, and sees two men waiting for the bus across the street. She tells them that they seem suspicious, but they don’t agree though Sofia begs Ramon to take her home as she’s nervous and the phone call reminded her of when they were kidnapped. Ramon agrees, though he’s not happy to, and they go as Dalia and Valente laugh with each other at this blatant display of manipulation.

Margarita goes to visit Porfirio, who tells her that he is fine now, but he can’t remember what happened. Margarita explains that he had a complication and he asks if she stayed with him all day. Margarita nods and he thanks her before suggesting she go home for the night, as she already spent the night yesterday. Margarita tells him that she already went home and got her things to stay the night comfortably. Porfirio thanks her and Margarita is happy to see that he’s feeling better, at least, until another round of chemo comes along.

At Benito’s, Fredesvinda finishes dinner and goes to sleep, as Adalgiza and Benito will clean up, and they plot how to separate Luisa from Finito, namely, make them both jealous by seeing them together. Adalgiza smiles and nods, happy to be part of the scheme.

Sofia arrives home with Ramon, but she can’t seem to calm down. Ramon asks her to be calm, as she’s making things worse, but she can’t stop thinking about their ordeal. She begs him to spend the night, even if it’s on the couch, but Ramon tells her that she will be safe and kisses her goodnight on the cheek. He gets back in the car as Sofia storms inside.

Juana opens the door for Julio, who is happy because he saw Hortensia is getting better, and Juana is happy to hear it. Julio hopes she recovers her memory though, soon, and laughs at the fact that she prefers Juana’s company. Juana laughs too, and Julio suggests they let the nurse go and she and Luisa can take care of her. Juana agrees and then Julio bids Juana good night and leaves. Once alone, Juana laughs at the irony of the situation.

In her apartment, Sofia calls Oton and tells him that the call was great, but they need something else to strike fear into his hear. Tom suggests they beat him up, but Sofia has another plan. She excitedly tells him.

The next day, Jorge and Andrea find Esteban unconscious and go wake him up. Esteban wakes up with a start and tells them that he heard the dogs barking last night and someone hit him, but he doesn’t know why. Jorge then notices the rotten oranges and runs to them. He curses their luck as Andrea and Esteban walk over. Esteban tells him not to touch anything, as it could be dangerous, and Jorge asks him what they can do to save the crops. Esteban tells him there isn’t anything they can do, and he can’t think of anyone who would want to hurt them. Jorge and Andrea agree that it was the two men they didn’t want to sell too, and Jorge goes with Esteban to call the police.

In her room, Juana tells Dr. Parrot that she plans to move in with Ramon, now that the apartment is empty, when Andrea calls her and explains what happened with the vegetable garden and the poison. Andrea knows that it was the men they refused to sell their produce to and Juana tells her that she will go meet them at the farm to see if there is anything they can do. Juana then hangs up and goes.

Moments later, she runs into Julio in the parking lot and tells him what happened at the vegetable. He can’t believe this happened and offers to take her. He reiterates that, even if he didn’t agree with their decision, a crime was committed, and he will help any way he can.

In the hospital, Porfirio looks at his food and complains that it looks unappetizing. Margarita reminds him that he’s in a hospital and then tries to give him some Jell-O as the doctor walks in and checks his vitals. He finds that he’s doing better and asks if he prefers to continue his treatments at home or in the hospital. Porfirio will prefer his house though he will return for his round of chemo. The doctor smiles and goes to prepare the discharge papers.

From his car, Julio calls Jorge to tell him he is on his way, just in case, and tells him that, despite everything, he will always be there to help him. Jorge thanks him and explains that they called the police and have been looking around the farm to see if they find any proof but, so far, nothing. Julio tells him he is on his way and hangs up. Juana smiles wide and thanks him for being there for them. Julio reassures her that he is on their side.

Benito and Adalgiza eat some tamales from Luisa’s favorite street vendor and Benito instructs Adalgiza to act natural as Luisa is likely on her way. Luisa turns the corner just then and sees them. She slams into Adalgiza, jealous, grabs her tamale, and leaves in a huff. Benito and Adalgiza smile at the thought of their plan working.

In the sub shop, Finito cleans the sidewalk and smiles at the fact that he didn’t dream about Adalgiza last night so Fredesvinda potion must be working. Just then, Benito and Adalgiza turn a corner, arm in arm, and pass by where Finito’s cleaning. Finito frowns, mad as all hell that she let Adalgiza go and now she’s back with Benito.

Ramon waits outside the apartment building for Sofia, who comes out then and confesses that she’s still scared since the phone call. Ramon tells her that everything will be fine, but Sofia confesses that she can’t stop thinking about their kidnapping. Ramon reiterates that she must stop, or she will drive herself crazy. He then walks her to the car, so they can go to RamSo.

In the MedFer office, Rulo gives Osvaldo a list of the parts that sell for the highest price. Osvaldo looks the list over but asks Rulo to guide him as there are some parts he still doesn’t know. Rulo nods but he warns Osvaldo to be careful with Lucho, as he is always in their business, and make sure to tell him when a car that needs those parts comes in, so he can work on it. Osvaldo nods and they shake hands.

Lauro visits Rosendo in jail and tells him that the prison transfer is tomorrow, and they already have the transport van route and will intercept it. He tells Rosendo that, should everything go well, he will sleep on downy pillows by tomorrow night. Rosendo smiles wide.

Ramon goes to visit Sofia in her office and she asks if he will can go look at parts with her to see if they can get a good price. Ramon is hesitant but, ultimately, agrees. As he is about to leave, he asks Sofia if anyone has called off the job offer she put in the newspaper. Sofia shakes her head and tells him that, should anyone call, she will take him, so he can interview them. Ramon nods and leaves. Once alone, Sofia calls Oton and tells him that they are almost leaving so he should be ready.

Margarita takes Porfirio home and asks him how he feels. Porfirio feels like he just experienced rebirth and thanks her for being with him. She then receives a call from Antonio and tells him that she will likely go to the supermarket for Porfirio and then eat with him that afternoon. She then asks if he went to the bail bondsman, but Antonio has not, as he wanted her to go with him now that Porfirio is out of the hospital. Margarita would prefer to stay with Porfirio and Antonio tells her they will talk later then and hangs up. Porfirio then asks Margarita if Antonio is jealous, but she isn’t sure though he’s probably right. Porfirio smiles and admits that, seeing Antonio a little bit jealous, makes him smile. He then tells her that he loves her, and Margarita tells him that she is very important to her.

Juana arrives at the vegetable garden and hugs Andrea tight. Andrea cries in her arms and tells her all their crops are gone and Esteban assumes it was something very toxic as the whole crop is unusable. Juana tells them that the soil is still go though so they will rebuild. Julio can’t believe it and asks the police officer what they can do to make sure justice is served. The officer tells them to go to the station with him and report eh incident. They all agree and pile into Julio’s car.

Francisco tells Fabiola that he is going to the clinic and will come back for her at 3pm for lunch. Fabiola won’t be part of his charade though and Francisco shrugs because he could care less. She then tells him that she must go to her gynecologist, but Francisco would prefer she went to see his colleague. Fabiola shakes her head and demands to see her own gynecologist, but Francisco insists she goes to his colleagues. Fabiola agrees, and Francisco is happy to see she is becoming a docile, humble wife. He then leaves, and Fabiola calls the number she found on his phone.

Hortensia is sitting by the window when she hears Rebeca’s phone begin to ring. Rebeca comes in then with soup and gives it to Hortensia, who tells her about the phone call. As Hortensia complains about the poor quality of the soup, Rebeca checks her missed calls but doesn’t recognize the number.

At RamSo, Benito is all smiles and Valente notices. Benito confesses his love scheme with Adalgiza, but Valente chides him for coming between Luisa and Finito, who are engaged to be married. Benito doesn’t care though as he and Luisa are meant to be.

In the station, Esteban gives the police his statement about what happened last night at the vegetable garden. Jorge then states that they suspect it was the middlemen they refused to sell to because they didn’t offer them a fair price.

Chava asks Rulo if he wants to go to lunch but Rulo has other plans: get Dalia a gift. Chava chides him for trying to get with Dalia, after she’s rejected him many times, but Rulo wants to take advantage of the fact that he has money now. He reiterates that between him and Guero, there is no contest as he’s the better catch.

After giving the police their statements, everyone asks Esteban his thoughts on the crops. Esteban tells them that the crops are unsalvageable, and the ground may be damaged as well, and it could take at least 12 months for it to become useable again. Everyone frowns but Julio tells them that they will work through and find something else to do in the upcoming months. They all nod and go to the car as Julio smiles to himself.

In the car ride back, Sofia tells Ramon that they did good buying that lot for their shop. Ramon tells her that it’s her shop but then apologizes when he sees her face. Sofia then asks him to take her someone, so they can grab lunch, but Ramon prefers to go back to the shop to eat. Sofia begs him to take her, as they always eat at the shop, and he finally agrees.

Antonio picks up Diego from summer school and Diego asks him to buy him some wool after lunch, so Juana can teach him how to nit clothes for babies because he’s going to be an uncle but can tell him who’s pregnant. Antonio deduces that it must be either Andrea or Fabiola who is pregnant and Diego nods. Antonio then guesses that it’s Fabiola and Diego smiles and nods again, but Antonio doesn’t look happy.

At the main house, everyone has lunch as Julio encourages Andrea and Jorge to think positive. They wonder how they will survive and Juana proposes she give Andrea her money. Julio shakes his head, as they would spend it too quickly, and reminds them of his food franchise idea. He suggests they talk it over and diversify their earnings, just in case, and Andrea and Jorge nod. Jorge then looks at the food and his mouth begins to water. He tells Juana that she would oversee the kitchen in their restaurant, but Juana doesn’t look too excited at the suggestion.

Rebeca is watching Hortensia sleep when she receives a call from Fabiola’s number. She decides to answer but is surprised to hear Fabiola on the other end. She hands up immediately, but Fabiola realizes she has heard that voice before but can’t remember where.

Sofia grabs some food to go from the restaurant and then calls Oton to tell him that she is on her way out of the mall. She then hangs up and goes.

Julio suggests they take soil samples to a lab to test if it’s usable and offers to find a lab that will help. They thank him and then Julio asks if they will return home now that the crops are gone but they won’t as they haven’t changed their minds about being together. However, Jorge begs Jorge to let him come get his clothes and Jorge agrees and thinks it will be a good time to discuss the franchise. They agree and then Julio goes to leave with Juana, but she wants to clean up first. Andrea and Jorge offer to do it though and smile.

Sofia comes out to the parking garage and goes to meet Ramon when Oton and his partner put on ski masks and grab her. Ramon goes to them and begins to beat the two men up as Sofia begs the police for help. One of them gets the jump on the Ramon and they beat him up before leaving in their van. Sofia runs to Ramon and he tells her that his ribs hurt. She offers to take him to the hospital and call the detective assigned to their case as those men were likely following them.

Fabiola tries to remember the voice but can’t. Just then, she receives a call from Francisco, who asks her to come the hospital in a taxi since he’s running behind, so they can go to the gynecologist together. They hang up and then Fabiola calls the number again to find the phone has been turned off. She curses her luck.

Rebeca keeps calling Francisco insistently to tell him that Fabiola keeps calling her and she doesn’t know why. Francisco doesn’t know how she got the number or why she’s calling. Rebeca assumes she saw it on his phone and wanted to know who it belonged to. He promises to get the truth out of Fabiola, one way or the other and hangs up. He then what Fabiola is up to.

Antonio calls Margarita to ask if she’s still at Porfirio. Margarita left for the time being, but Antonio is annoyed that she is staying with him for long periods of time. Margarita reminds him that Porfirio is sick and has no one else and Antonio finally understands and takes back his comments. He admits that he feels bad now, but he called to tell her that Fabiola is pregnant. Margarita understands now why she stopped the divorce process and offers to call her, but Antonio asks her not to as Juana told Diego, who told him but made him promise not to tell anyone else. Margarita nods and tells him that she will wait, if that’s the case. Diego comes in then and Antonio tells Margarita he has to go but asks her to pass by and visit them, if she can. She laughs and agrees to see him in a few minutes.

At the sub shop, Finito tries to concentrate on work but he can’t because he can’t stop thinking about Analgia and Benito together. Teofilo reminds him that he already told Adalgiza that he couldn’t be friends, and Fredesvinda’s remedy was working, but Finito must call her because jealous thoughts mean he has low self esteem and he can’t allow that. He then calls Adalgiza and tells her that he has been thinking things over and he can’t stop being her friend. He invites her over to the sub shop that night, so they can talk. Adalgiza is unsure if she should accept but Finito begs her to as their friendship has nothing to do with his friendship. Adalgiza agrees and quickly hangs up before calling Benito to tell her what happened. Benito is happy to see that their plan is working, now Luisa needs to find out about their date tonight, and he promises to take care of it.

Moments later, Rulo goes to visit Benito, who chides him for not visiting them more often, especially since Fredesvinda has been sick the past few months. Rulo promises to visit her soon and then asks for Dalia. Benito begs him not to start trouble and leave her be but Rulo promises that he’s only there to apologize. Benito nods and then asks Rulo to borrow his cell phone and he will return it once he finishes talking to Dalia. Rulo nods and obliges before leaving.

Luisa is cleaning when Jorge and Julio walk in. She is happy to see they are finally getting along again and Julio nods before handing Jorge the papers for the food franchise. He then leaves, and Luisa asks Jorge what happened that Julio looks friendlier than usual. Jorge tells her that they have reconciled but someone sprayed poison on their crops and they must start over. Luisa laments this and Jorge offers her more details as she helps him pack his things.

Rulo finds Dalia in the office and gives her a gift. She smiles but wonders why he has brought her a gift. Rulo confesses that he can’t stop thinking about her and laments the fact that he can’t see her daily at MedFer. Dalia opens the gift and gasps when she sees the necklace inside. She loves the gift but doesn’t think she can accept because she’s dating Guiro. Rulo makes it clear that he wants nothing and expects nothing, but he will be waiting for her whenever she wants to be with him. He leaves then and Juana wonders how much he spent on the gold necklace with the heart pendant.

Andrea is in her room, packing her things, when Juana asks if she needs anything else. Andrea shakes her head, but Juana offers to bring her some things about once a week while they get back on their feet. Andrea tells her it’s not necessary, but she appreciates her offer. Juana nods and then tells Andrea that the ruined crops were a blessing in disguise as Julio was able to reconcile with her and Jorge. Andrea smiles but tells Juana that Julio’s change of heart is likely thanks to her as well. Juana smiles but shrugs as she has done nothing special. Andrea then asks if she went to go visit Fabiola and Juana smiles before revealing that Fabiola is pregnant. Andrea couldn’t be happier, even if the child ties her to Francisco forever, and offers to call her. Juana holds her off as Fabiola wants to tell the family in person and Andrea stops. Juana then goes to find the sweater she’s been knitting to show Andrea.

Sofia sits Ramon down in the clinic waiting room and goes to find someone who can help them. Once alone, Ramon runs into Fabiola, who is walking in at that moment, and asks her if she’s sick that she’s at the clinic. Fabiola shakes her head and tries to leave but Ramon stops her and tells her that they found each other for a reason. Fabiola is quiet, and Ramon asks if she can tell him why she went back to Francisco. Fabiola tells him that it that it was the best decision for everyone, but Ramon knows that is not true because he can see how unhappy she is, especially in her eyes. Fabiola confesses that she can’t leave Francisco and begins to cry as Ramon demands to know why. He asks if she’s happy, but Fabiola can’t answer through her tears...

Crimidy, full of typos, how embarrasing.

Thank You AAA, very nice.
We finally see the first glimmer of possible brain activity in Fabi as thought processes look to be migrating from inside her panties (assuming) up to above that ever present (TooTight?) choker. She gets the PhartenPhone and memorizes Rebecca's number. It's a start Fab, keep it going.

It reminds me of when you think the fire is out in the fireplace, and a week later you are taking out the ashes and almost start a fire in the garbage. Like there was still one hot ember in there somewhere.

Ramoon, real men just don't get their ass beat that much. Do something. I think Estee Lauder has a little pepper spray that looks like a tube of lipstick that you can carry. Just sayin......

Julio is neck and neck with Francystco now in the bad competition. He can mix and mingle with everyone, knowing full well what he just did to his ?son? and Andrea. Jeezo. I think it is not too early to start dreaming up appropriate anvils for him, because this could take a while.

Baaaaack.
For once, Benny and Adal are funny and entertaining. If she would put all those 'ASSets' in a little red dress, she could shoot bones out of the saddle without all this cloak and dagger silliness. A little red Christmas dress would blow Finito's ice cream parlor beanie right through the ceiling tiles. He'd be riding that mop around like a stick pony instead of trying to take a layer of cement off the same spot.

I will surely be hoppy when a few of these moroons (thanks Bugs B) start getting a clue.

Thanks so much Alfredo. I got so annoyed with Francisco and Julio last night, I was almost glad (almost) that Univision/Televisa were slicing this up to end it faster. Just so ready to have the bad guys exposed and punished, and the good guys living happily every after!

I am enjoying the sneaky partnership between Benito and Adalgiza. And I noticed those generous hips are still swinging like a wide load trailer. Very effective! Finito doesn't stand a chance, Benito will soon be back with little Miss Firecracker Luisa and Finito will be traveling the hills and valleys of Ms. Ada.

Alas, the fellows on the line cautioned me that Hortensia's kindly moods wouldn't last and she does seem to be swinging back towards arrogant complaints and directives. Still, telenovelas like to engineer folks to see the error of their ways (though where is the priest in this one?)so I'm still hoping for a kinder, gentler abuela one of these days. We shall see.

In the meantime, Alfredo, you do indeed deserve your moniker of AAA. Always rescuing us when these story lines go awry, thanks to brutal editing.

Good Morning!! Thank you, AAA!! You never cease to amaze...cleverly written and thorough details, thank you!!

Kirby, I think this is a "typo-cal" morning. Same happened to me!

"Fabiola curses her luck and calls Francisco, who is basking in the overglow of a hanky panky," Hmmmm, anyone take a good look when he stood up? ....not much there!! Sorry, but for such a mean-spirited cyst, those shorts were quite empty.

Kirby, "It reminds me of when you think the fire is out in the fireplace, and a week later you are taking out the ashes and almost start a fire in the garbage. Like there was still one hot ember in there somewhere." I've never had a fireplace, but I can understand...Fabi fits that description to a tee...I do hope the flame grows. The same goes for Blanca, but just when I thought her flame started burning, it went out quickly...and Andrea's too! So Fabi being pregnant makes everything okay? They simply forgot that she was locked up and their suspicions that something was not right when Fabi made a 180? S-T-U-P-I-D!!

I'm enjoying the Benito/Ada scenes/partnership too! JudyB, "Benito will soon be back with little Miss Firecracker Luisa and Finito will be traveling the hills and valleys of Ms. Ada." I love the way you put that...so true!

Sofia is becoming quite devious. I guess her father always knew that side of her would come out...and he seemed quite proud.

#prayersfordianaandpeter

RVG Chick: I'm sure Sofia's Daddy is happy about his daughter being super EVIL.

Good morning, all....and you are a randy group this morning !! Tsk tsk tsk.

Judyb..."hills and valleys of Ms. Ada." ...and CHickie, checking FRaud out!! my , my, my.

Luckily for NOtsoFAb, she has a close and loving family. What you tell abusers like Fraud is, "WE are here, and no matter where you take her, we will find her. We are all watching you. " Abusers hate anyone close to their victims and try to separate their victims from family and friends so that they can be in complete control. Julio is bad , but I need a giant anvil for Fraud

Judyb...I have been noticing that unlike the telenovelas that I started watching ten years ago, the recent telenovelas do not have kind, wise priests or happily married older couples to offer advice and example. Some recent ones have had psychologists. Perhaps, this is a reflection of today's world.

Sunny here but cold. It snowed last night, so the schools had a two hour delay. Saw a three car accident earlier this morning. Winter...meh. I am guessing that Judyb got some snow, too.

Sending out good vibrations to Diana and hubby))))))))

I hopeo when Jorge finds out that Ju-lie-o :
1. Ain't his Papa
2. Lied to him all these years
3. Had their farm poisoned
he will:

1a Whip his ass
2a Beat his Ass
3a Whip his ass for letting him beat his ass.

Although they go to great lengths to keep Master Jorge covered up, I have a sneaking suspicion there is a pretty put together young man under those turtle necks and long sleeves. I hopeo we see him put it to good use accomplishing 1a, 2a, and 3a above.

My guess is that Fran's anvil is going to be death . That way, FAb will get back all the money he took from her.

Thank you, Alfredo.

Kirby, "Like there was still one hot ember in there somewhere." - I would like to see more of a resistance. Get her conversations with Cyst on tape. Explain her situation to someone close, get legal advice, get a private detective follow Cysts - to uncover his adultery. Not just roll over and be submissive.

How spending $20000 pesos on destroying crops benefited Julio? Questionable. What is not questionable is that his pocket is $20000 lighter.

With the cut scenes, actions of some characters seem random and out of the blue. Like, what is Sofia's plan? Although they seem random and out of the blue even without cutting.

JudyB, thank you. I really enjoyed your comments on the Benito/Luisa/Finito/Ada line in this TN, especially those re Ms Ada. Made me laugh.

Andy, I think Sofia's delusional plan is to get Ramon to go live with her. If he does, she'll probably find some way to have Fabiola find out to put an end to nay hopes Fabi might have with Ramon.

Susy, I would say do the Bobbit thing to Fran, but there just ain't nuttin' there! LOL

Maybe Julio's anvil should be to have him get some type of skin-eating disease from all that toxic stuff they put on the crops.

Kirby, " I hopeo we see him (Jorge) put it to good use accomplishing 1a, 2a, and 3a above." Me too!!

Lucio, I'd bet that $20000 actually came out of Juanna's pocket.

Chickie, lately I have been listening to Christmas carols, and I was thinking of some holiday related anvils. #chestnutsroastingonanopenfire #jackfrostnippingathisnose

#hisnutsroastingonanopenfire
#jackfrostnippingathisjunk

Yeah, Susy those are good

Susy and Kirby, those will definitely do! :-)

Kirby and Chickie..you're welcome. It's the snow...it brings out the worst in me. Teehee. #santaclausiscomingtotown

For an anvil to be truly enjoyable (to the patio) it has to land on the most painful spot on the recipient.

Given Cyst's performance? of late, it only stands to reason that he live, but go to prison where they will really hate him and he can be someone's bitch for-ever.

Julio id harder to tailor an anvil for, because he is the only thing on this planet he gives a chipmunks fart about. Even the money, he does not seem to care about, really, but it is just a means to an end, so he can gamble.

So it is preposterous to dream that he could die and come back as a two dollar poker chip. What makes him tick?

WAIT ! Stop the presses ! He is addicted to gambling, so many times an addictive personality is at risk of other addictions also. OK, so maybe slime, er..correction, what's his name, er..Ooze could get Pop hooked on some of his recreational pharmaceuticals and then he can spend the rest of his life scraping up a living and then squandering it on either drugs and/or gambling.

Kirby...like all my patio peeps here at caraycaray, I am naughty but nice and expecting lots of nice gifts from SAnty and no coal in my stocking.;-)

...but a lot of the folks in this show should be receiving coal.

I am sure. Lots of these folks should be getting hand grenades.

Hello everyone and thank you!

"It reminds me of when you think the fire is out in the fireplace, and a week later you are taking out the ashes and almost start a fire in the garbage. Like there was still one hot ember in there somewhere." Kirby, I agree with everyone, this was hilarious. Fabiola seems to be developing some brain activity just in time for the final episodes. About time, I hope she can free herself from Francisco soon and threaten to expose him with what he did to Hortensia. Will Fabiola be able to get it out of Rebeca? I wonder what it would take for her to betray Francisco? Some money from Ms. Fabby Money herself?

As for Sofia, I also agree that her plan doesn't make any sense but, at least, she was smart enough to keep the "my father is responsible for everything" trend going. I really don't like how she's willing to hurt the man she loves to keep him at her side. That, in itself, is the biggest betrayal to her personality.

Who knew the writers could make Benito and his group fun again? I also like their partnership. Hopefully, they don't destroy Finito's reputation and Luisa's heart in the process.

Well I see the cold frosty weather has brought out the naughty and nice in all of us. RGV Chick, thanks for that hashtag prayersfordianaandpeter. They are needed.
Susanlynn, yep, it's snowing here and very cold. Spent part of the day rocking a baby (nice and warm)and part of the day traipsing down a cold, cold city alley hauling recyclables out. Brrrrrr.
Andy Banda, spent part of my salad days in France, and French lads are very fond of speaking of women in geographic terms. That remark about Ada was reminiscent of things a Gallic friend of mine once said.
Kirby, yikes, you're sounding very bloodthirsty today amigo mio. Wouldn't want to cross you ever!
Jorge does look wonderfully broad shouldered and balanced without being excessively muscular as these telenovela actors often do. Not that I mind looking at them, but Jorge really just seems like a nice, gorgeous young man. And of course his novia is lovely as well.
No lack of beautiful people in this one. Now let's wrap this up and get the bad guys in jail and the good guys back in the cama with their preferred partner makin' whoopeee!

Rebecca is in Luuuurve with Francofartsniffer. All it would taqke for her to turn on him is him to break her heart somehow. He has her thinking he is going to get globs of money from DummyFab then be rid of her, then he and Rebecca will live hoppily (and rich) ever after.

If she finds out that is all a BIG lie and he has simply used her she would throw the bus under him.

Judyb...rockng a baby...that is the best way to spend a day. ;-)

Thanks Alfredo. Good recap crapy episode How stupid is fabiola? I've really had It with this goin to jail for adultery. Why would the writers come up with an Increditably stupid plot such as that?

They really have fabi being dumb. They
Started her off being dumb. She can't
Have on a computer to find out about the laws on the books about adultery.
She's not thinkin about her aunt. They

They cannot put him back with that skank Roxy.Maybe somebody has a really
Nice sister that Tony can get with but
Noooooooo not back with Roxy.He really
Deserves better. She is evil nasty.
