Episode 94: I’m Havin’ Your Baby…
At Luisa’s, Valente arrives and sees that
Ramón is looking at the classifieds and wonders if there aren’t openings for
two people. When Ramón questions him, Valente shares that he quit because he
just didn’t like it anymore…when Ramón was there it was different; and now with
the cops around, he doesn’t want to take any chances or have problems. Ramón
criticizes that Sofía only looks out for herself and shares that Sofía called
to tell him they had detained her and asked him to help her; but in reality,
they only took her in to get her statement. Just then Sofía calls,
but Ramón is annoyed and refuses to answer. He decides to go see his mother
instead.
At her apartment, Sofía calls Dalia to ask
if she told Ramón what she asked Dalia to tell him. Dalia confirms that she
did, but Ramón said Sofía should take care of things on her own. After Sofía
asks where Ramón is and Dalia doesn’t know, Sofía hangs up and mumbles that
Ramón won’t get rid of her that easily.
At Marg’s apartment, Antonio comments that he was finally
able to get Marg away from Porfi’s arms, but Marg doesn’t like the way his
statement sounded; Antonio made it seem as if Porfi is her lover. Antonio
brushes it off and tells Marg that it’s obvious how Porfi feels about
her…though she denies it. When Marg remains quiet, Antonio assumes he is right;
so Marg nods. Antonio thinks Porfi is taking advantage of his situation so she
can feel sorry for him. Marg chides Antonio for getting jealous though Roxana
sleeps at his house; and she has to put up with it. When Antonio responds it
will never happen again because Roxana went on a trip to clear her name, Marg
thinks Roxana only told him that so she can continue blackmailing him. Antonio
notes that Marg is upset, but Marg denies it…she is hurt because she has had to
put up with Roxana’s scorn, Diego’s insults…and that’s because she
unconditionally helped Roxana get out of prison. In contrast, when she needs
Antonio to be supportive of her, he can’t do it. Antonio argues that it isn’t
the same…he doesn’t love Roxana; and Roxana doesn’t love him. When he points
out that Porfi is in love with her and sometimes doubts that what she feels for
Porfi is brotherly love, Marg has had it; she thinks they can’t get along so
they should just end things now.
Ramón arrives at Juana’s as Diego is
knitting. When Diego explains that he is knitting something for Fabi’s baby,
Ramón congratulates him for being an uncle. They all then go into the kitchen
to make dinner.
At Marg’s, Antonio wonders if Marg loves
Porfi and not him. Marg can’t believe he is so dumb, but Antonio thinks he is
at a disadvantage; he can’t compete with someone who is dying. Marg gets upset
and shouts that no one told him he had to compete; she has told him in thousands
of ways that what she feels for Porfi is very different from what she feels for
him…and he just doesn’t want to understand! When Antonio wonders how he is
supposed to feel since he is at a disadvantage, Marg is sorry he feels that
way, but she will not abandon Porfi. Marg thought Antonio would be able to
understand the situation, but she now knows it’s not that way. Marg insists
that they break up and asks Antonio to leave.
Roxana arrives at Marta’s house. Roxana wants Marta to
help her find evidence that she is innocent…and to find Daniel. When Marta
tells Roxana that she knows just as much as Roxana about Daniel, Roxana shares
that finding Daniel is the only way she will be able to prove her innocence.
When Roxana asks Marta if she has any idea where Daniel might be, Marta
explains that the last time she saw Daniel was when Roxana was with him; she
and Daniel are not friends. Marta met Daniel at a restaurant…he made her laugh,
but that was it. Marta wishes she could help Roxana find Daniel and make him
pay for what he did to her, but she has no way of doing it. Roxana cries that
she was left without a home, without a family or friends…and she has nowhere to
go; her husband wants nothing to do with her…everyone has turned their backs on
her….no one wants a person with a criminal history. When Roxana asks if she can
stay there for a few days to think things over and decide what she is going to
do, Marta, not so willingly, replies that she can stay there.
At Juana’s, once alone, Ramón shares with
Juana that Sofía has been lying to him. Sofía told him she was going to Tijuana
when, in reality she went to visit her father in prison. When Juana wonders if
Sofía kept in touch with her father all this time, Ramón thinks she has. He
doesn’t know how many other things Sofía has kept from him; he doesn’t know
what to think anymore. Juana thinks it’s a good thing Ramón has gotten away from
her. Ramón emphasizes it’s for the best and thinks about all the problems he
got into because of Sofía…he lost Fabi. Juana suggests Ramón shouldn’t torture
himself over that; it’s sad, but there isn’t much that can be done. Ramón then
shares that he can’t seem to find a job; there isn’t much hope. Ramón will give
it a little more time, but if he can’t find anything, he will return to
Tijuana. Juana doesn’t want him to go, especially that far away. Ramón thinks
he may have no recourse. He would ask Juana to go with him, but he knows that
Andrea and Fabi are like her daughters. Ramón would prefer that she stay close
to Fabi since she is going to have a baby. After Juana cries that Ramón is such
a good man who deserves to be very happy, she hugs him tightly.
Ramón thinks that when they were handing
out happiness, he didn’t do very well…he had it all in his hands, but lost it.
Ramón doubts he will ever find it again; though Juana thinks that as soon as
his heart heals, he will fall in love again. Juana then makes Ramón promise,
that before he goes away, he will make every effort to find a job close by.
At the hell hole (Francystco’s apartment), Fabi serves
the Cyst his dinner as Andrea arrives crying and asking for Fabiola. When
Andrea’s tells her that she got into a fight with Jorge and asks to stay there,
Fabi quickly agrees. They both look at Francystco who doesn’t look pleased.
Andrea pleads with Francystco to let her stay as Fabi looks at her as if saying
“Thank you so much for being here!” After they sit
down and Fabi brings Andrea some tea, Francystco thinks it would be best if
Andrea go back with Jorge and settle things. Fabi chides him for saying such a
thing…and how can he expect Andrea to go back, especially at this hour, but
Francystco insists that problems between a couple can’t be resolved if they are
apart. When Andrea wonders if Francystco doesn’t want her staying there,
Francystco denies it…he’s just offering to take her back if the problem
actually is the lateness in time. Andrea cries that she doesn’t want to see
Jorge, so Francystco offers to talk to him which causes Andrea to show more
grief. When she pleads that they let her stay there, Francystco wonders if it
wouldn’t be better if she went to her own home with Juana, but Andrea doesn’t
want to see anyone in the family…they’ll just rake her over the coals since
they advised her against leaving with her cousin. After Andrea pleads again,
Fabi tells her she can stay. Francystco adds that he was only making suggestions
so Andrea could feel more comfortable, but Fabi insists that Andrea can feel
comfortable there too. After Andrea states that it won’t be for a long time,
Fabi takes her to lend her some pajamas. Once alone, Fabi thanks Andrea for
being there with her and wonders how it occurred to her. Andrea confides that
it was Jorge’s idea and assures Fabi that Jorge won’t tell anyone; all he wants
to do is help. After what Fabi told her, they can’t leave her alone with
Francystco. Andrea then laughs at what an idiot Francystco was for trying to
give her advice. Fabi thanks Andrea with a hug and tells her she doesn’t know
what she would do without her.
Ramón returns to Luisa’s and enters his
bedroom where Valente asks how things went with his mother. Ramón replies that
his mother was knitting little sweaters for Fabi’s baby…he thinks that baby
should have been his. When Valente tells Ramón not to think about that anymore,
Ramón replies he has tried, but can’t; there is always something that reminds
him of Fabi. Ramón then shares his thought about returning to Tijuana; the only
thing holding him back is his mother. Ramón would like to take her with him,
but she already has her life set here. Valente then tells Ramón that if he goes
back to Tijuana, he will go with him. Just then, Ramón gets a call from one of
the places he applied at…he is to go there tomorrow. Valente asks that Ramón
inquire about any other openings; so Ramón gladly agrees.
Marta calls Daniel who is hiding out in some type of low-life
basement. She lets him know that Roxana is there looking for him, but Daniel
doesn’t want to hear about that wretch…because of her they connected him to
some other mules. When Marta tells him she just wanted to inform him because
Roxana is talking about turning him in and warns him to be careful, he retorts
that she (Marta) is the one that should be careful with what she says or
does…she is involved in this just as much as he is; and if he falls, she’ll go
first.
At Benito’s, Fredes is very happy that Ada
and Benito are now a couple; she dreams of the day she sees them at the altar.
Ada thinks Fredes is jumping the gun since they just started being a couple,
but Fredes thinks they should speed it up; neither of them are spring chickens
and Fredes is sure Ada has hopes of surrounding herself with children. Ada does
have hopes, but she can’t just tell Benito that she wants to get married. As
Fredes gestures a big belly, she suggests that women have ways of hooking men.
Ada is shocked, but nods.
At Rulo’s place, Darío and Rulo are eating when Benito
drops by to invite Rulo for a beer. As Rulo stands at the door, he tells Benito
it’ll have to be at the billiard hall since he doesn’t have any beer there.
When Benito agrees, Rulo goes for his keys and whispers to Darío that he’ll be
back soon.
Marg arrives at Porfi’s place in tears and needs a hug;
so he obliges. After Marg sits down, Porfi assumes it’s about Antonio; and Marg
replies that Antonio is an idiot. She shares that Antonio is crazy with
jealousy because Marg is with him (Porfi). Antonio is being irrational and
insensitive; so she broke up with him. Porfi feels bad that they broke up
because of him. When he tells Marg that she doesn’t have to take care of him
anymore…he can hire a nurse, Marg absolutely refuses; he is her best friend.
Marg loves Porfi very much; so if Antonio can’t understand that, it’s his
problem. Porfi hugs her as she cries.
The Next Morning—
Fabiola and Andrea set the table as Francystco slithers
over. After they offer him breakfast, Francystco refuses and guides Fabi away
to tell her she better get rid of Andrea. After he kisses her good-bye and
leaves, Fabi quickly wipes his poison off. Andrea thinks it’s too bad Francystco
refused breakfast…she had thought of adding some poison. Fabi is sickened when
he kisses her. Meanwhile, Francystco opens the door to his car and finds a dead
rat.
After he throws out the rat and sits down, he looks at
the windshield and sees the message, “This is what happens to rats like you.
You owe me 100,000.” As he turns on his wipers to erase the message, Darío
hides behind a tree and laughs as he watches.
At MedFer, Rulo tells Chava about going out
for a beer with Benito. Rulo thinks Benito was just digging for information
about his relationship with Dalia and might want to talk him into marrying her.
When Chava laughs, Rulo wonders why Chava doesn’t think he’s a good catch…he’s
good-looking and has money. Chava then warns Rulo to be careful; Benito might
go over and run into Darío who might say more than he should. Rulo doesn’t
think Benito will return; and he thinks Darío won’t be there too much longer.
As soon as the Doc hands over the money, Rulo will tell Darío to leave.
At Francystco’s, the sisters have breakfast
as Jorge calls to make plans to meet. He wants to talk to Fabi to see what they
should do next. Fabi doesn’t think Francystco will agree to her going out, but
Fabi can tell Francystco they are going to the supermarket; so they make plans
to meet at the Japanese Garden. After Andrea hangs up, Fabi doesn’t know what
they could plan, but agrees to go. She will leave a note for Francystco in case
he comes back.
At the farm, Jorge has car problems so Esteban
tells him about a mechanic down the road. Jorge leaves to get the mechanic.
At Hortensia’s, Hortensia compliments Juana
on her breakfast. She comments that Fanny doesn’t have a knack for cooking.
Hortensia will tell Ricardo to take Fanny to work for him, so Juana can stay
with her because Juana and she have always gotten along. When Hortensia asks
Juana if she has a boyfriend and Juana denies it, Hortensia thinks it’s a good
thing…men aren’t worth it. Hortensia then comments about her husband leaving
her for a maid. When Hortensia starts feeling shaky, she tells Juana to take
her to her bedroom.
At MedFer, Antonio comments to Lucho that
business is picking up. As Lucho tells him that the clients are coming over
from Ramso’s, Porfi approaches and wants to talk to Antonio; so Antonio takes
him to his office.
At Ramso’s, Sofía chides Benito for
rejecting a client. When Benito explains that the client needed immediate
attention and the two mechanics were busy, Sofía questions why Benito didn’t
work on the car. Benito admits that he really isn’t a mechanic; so Sofía calls
him “useless.” She continues that if he can’t be of use to her, she doesn’t
know why he is there. After Benito suggests that he should quit, Sofía gets
Sofurious and agrees…she’s not going to pay an incompetent who doesn’t know how
to do anything. She yells out to Dalia and tells her to pay “this one” and to
place an ad for a me-cha-nic! When Dalia hesitates, SOfurious yells at Dalia to
MOVE! Dalia then goes to Benito and is dismayed that he, too, is leaving.
In Antonio’s MedFer office, Porfi tells Antonio that Marg
arrived at his home quite perturbed. When Antonio responds that it was Marg who
made the decision to break up, Porfi agrees, but retorts that it was Antonio
who provoked it. Antonio argues that he is not the one who is confused about
his feelings. Porfi is sure that Marg is not confused; she knows very well that
Antonio is the man she loves. What Marg feels for Porfi is a great affection
and friendship, but nothing more. When Antonio points out that Porfi is very
much in love with Marg and that Porfi is taking advantage of his situation to
have her close to him, Porfi admits that Marg is the love of his life, but he
is very conscious of the fact the Marg doesn’t feel for him what she feels for Antonio.
Porfi continues that his love is so great for Marg that the only thing he wants
for her is happiness…and the only one who can make that possible is Antonio.
Porfi doesn’t know how much longer he has to live, but he doesn’t want to die
knowing the Marg suffers because of Antonio’s stupid jealousy. After Porfi
tells Antonio that’s all he had to say, he leaves (and Antonio thinks about
what a jerk he is being).
At a new job site, Ramón is told about the
job opening. It will require some travel if trucks need to be serviced while on
the road. The job also requires that Ramón be on call 24 hours a day; so there
is a small house that he will be provided. Ramón accepts the job and will start
the next day. After Don Plinio leaves and Ramón starts looking around, Jorge
shows up wondering what Ramón is doing there; so Ramón tells him he came to
look for work. When Ramón wonders what Jorge is doing there and if something is
wrong, Jorge looks anxious and scratches his head.
Benito goes to Ada’s workstation and tells
her he lost his job. He explains that the boss lady fired him…it’s not his
fault Ramón left the boss and that’s what’s really bothering the boss. When he
worries that he needs a job because he is the primary income source of the
house, Ada assures him that with what she brings in and Fredes brings in with
her cookies sales, they will make ends meet. As she gives him a reassuring hug,
Finito watches from afar. Once they separate, Ada remembers that they have an
opening for a chauffeur, so they can go look for her boss to ask about it.
Benito gives her a prolonged kiss on the cheek as Finito watches with tears in
his eyes.
In his office with a patient, Francystco
thinks about the rat he found. As he explains the medications to the patient,
he tells the patient he will need “raticida/rat poison” but meant to say “ranitidina.”
After the patient leaves, Francystco thinks he can’t continue like this.
At Marta’s house, the maid tells Roxana that Marta left
the house after making a call. After the maid leaves, Roxana thinks it’s
strange that Marta didn’t tell her she was leaving. Roxana wonders if Marta
went to see Daniel. If Marta is being overly kind, it’s because she is hiding
something. She then starts looking around for some clue as to where Daniel
might be.
As Ada and Benito leave her work office,
Benito can’t believe he already has a new job. He will tell Valente about the
other opening for chauffeur that they have. He then tells Ada about Valente
leaving his job. When Benito asks Ada what the job entails, she explains that
when they get a call, he will have to go pick up the cadaver and make sure all
the paperwork is in order. Benito does not look pleased.
At her office, Sofía receives a call from
her father who can tell Ramón has not returned just by the tone of her voice.
When she also complains about all the problems at her shop, Rosendo suggests
that they both leave, but Sofía points out that the cops will become even more
suspicious of her. When she tells him she was already taken in to give her
statement, Rosendo warns her that she had better not have opened her mouth
about him. Sofía then reminds him of their agreement that she would have two
weeks to get Ramón back; if she fails, she will go with Rosendo.
Arriving at his apartment, Francystco finds the note from
Fabi telling him she went to the supermarket with Andrea. He then goes into the
bedroom and takes a gun out from a nightstand and puts it in his pants
(unafraid of shooting his flat ass off.)
At Hortensia’s, Juana helps Hortensia walk around and
comments that Hortensia is doing very well. Hortensia thinks it is all due to
Juana’s help since her children and grandchildren are never around. When Juana
responds that the children are working, Hortensia knows that her grandchildren are
too young and can’t come unless their parents bring them…and her daughter’s
in-law won’t being them. Hortensia then starts complaining about her
daughters-in-law; she feels sorry for her sons. Afterwards, Hortensia tells
Juana how she found her husband locked in the studio with Fanny and how her
husband tries to make her think that he didn’t know how the door had gotten
locked; she didn’t believe him.
Francystco goes to Darío’s old place and bangs at the
gate. He pulls out the gun thinking that this idiot is going to find out
exactly what Francystco is capable of. Just then, a man comes by asking what
Francystco wants. When Francystco tells him he is looking for Darío, the man
tells him that rat hasn’t been by there in a long time; so Francystco leaves.
At the Japanese garden, Andrea worries that Jorge hasn’t
arrived. As she starts to call him, Jorge arrives with Ramón. As Andrea walks
away, Ramón approaches and tells Fabi, “I know everything.” When he kneels and tenderly
puts his head against her belly, he asks, “It’s mine, right? It’s our,
Fabiola?” When he wants to hear her say it, Fabi replies, “Yes, it’s yours;
we’re having your baby.”
Ramón tells Fabi she doesn’t know how much he loves her;
he is the happiest man in the world. Fabi, responds that she loves him too, she
never stopped loving him. Ramón then tells her that never again will anything
or anyone separate them. When Fabi tells her that Francystco threatened her,
Ramón already knows, but they are together now; and together they will resolve
this. As Ramón and Fabi kiss, Jorge wonders if Andrea is going to scold him for
telling Ramón. Andrea thinks she should, but she won’t.
Across the street from MedFer, Francystco
watches in his car as Rulo leaves. He then follows Rulo and stops him as he
comes out of a store. He grabs Rulo holding him close and tells him that they’d
better not even get close to him again; they messed up the job, so they won’t
see another cent from him. Rulo pretends not to know what Francystco is talking
about; he knows nothing about Darío and even thought he was dead. If Darío is
after Francystco for more money, Rulo has nothing to do with it. Francystco
doesn’t believe a word he says so they are warned…and they’d better not open
their mouths about the job because if Francystco falls, they’ll go down first.
At the park, Fabi tells Ramón that
Francystco threatened to send her to jail because he knows the baby is Ramón’s;
Francystco even had the letter Ramón sent her. When Ramón is surprised that
Fabi didn’t get the letter, Fabi explains that she found it in one of
Francystco’s books. When Ramón tells her he thought she had stood him up and
wanted nothing to do with him, Fabi assures him she would have gone if she had
received it. There were so many times that Fabi wanted to go look for him, but
she would see him with “that woman.” Ramón tells Fabi that Sofía never meant
anything to him; he only went back to Sofía to forget Fabi, but it was useless
because he loves her (Fabi). Ramón then tells Fabi that he doesn’t even want to
think about Sofía; all she did was bring him problems; and the worst was
separating him from her….but never more. When Fabi wonders what they are going to do, Ramón doesn’t know how, but
Fabi isn’t going to jail; and Francystco will pay for all he has done. He then
holds her and they kiss passionately.
Episode 95: The Great Escape...and Mystic Candles
At the Japanese garden, Ramón kneels to listen for the
baby and wonders if it already moves, but Fabi laughs and tells him it is still
tiny…and it’s going to be a boy. When Ramón asks how she knows it’ll be a boy,
Fabi replies that it will look exactly like Ramón, but Ramón prefers it to be a
girl, so it’ll be as beautiful as Fabi…with her eyes, her lips and her smile
that is like that of a goddess. After Ramón tells Fabi how he longed to hug
her, kiss her, love her…and that he has her deep in his soul, they kiss again.
Fabi then wonders what they are going to do. Ramón thinks the first thing to do
is keep her away from Francystco. When she wonders where she will go, he thinks
she should go somewhere where Francystco can’t find her; she needs to disappear
out of his sight. As Andrea and Jorge approach, Jorge asks Fabi if she will
forgive him, but Fabi won’t only forgive him, she will be grateful to him for
the rest of her life. When Ramón tells them that they need to avoid, at all
costs, that Fabi return to Francystco’s house, Andrea suggests the farm, but
Ramón thinks Francystco will easily find her there; it has to be a place that’s
not connected to any of them. Ramón might know of such place…a small house that
Don Plinio offered him. When Andrea asks where it is, Jorge explains that it is
right off the highway, close to their farm. They all agree to go.
At Luisa’s, Finito arrives with good news. Before he
continues, Luisa silently wishes he will cancel the wedding, but Finito tells
her he already paid for the party room she wanted…to be used within fifteen
days. When Luisa starts to cry, Finito wonders why. Luisa explains that she is
touched.
Francystco arrives at his apartment calling out for Fabi.
When he calls her, she answers and tells him she is at the theater with Andrea;
so he warns her to be careful with what she says.
At MedFer, Rulo is furious and tells Chava
that Francystco is not going to scare him off. When Chava warns him that
Francystco might harm him, Rulo thinks Francystco is bluffing…and doesn’t have
it in him. Rulo is going to let up for a couple of days; then he will send
Darío to give him a good beating. Chava thinks Rulo should just try to get the
money, but Rulo insists that he also wants to teach Francystco a lesson so he
won’t be so cocky.
At a burger place, Diego is talking to
Antonio who is in la-la-land and doesn’t hear a word Diego is saying. When
Diego asks why he’s so sad, Antonio confides that he and Marg broke up because
he didn’t know how to tell her how important she is to him. Diego suggests he tell
her…since it no longer bothers him that Antonio sees Marg. Antonio is surprised,
so Diego explains that he has noticed that when Antonio is with Roxana, they
are always fighting and Antonio is sad, but when he is with Marg, he is happy.
Antonio smiles and thinks Diego is very perceptive. After Diego whispers
something in Antonio’s ear, they decide to go…
The foursome in the Bug arrive at Don Plinio’s
repair shop. Ramón asks if he and his girlfriend can use the house already. Don
Plinio explains that the house is very modest and doesn’t have electricity yet,
but Ramón and Fabi don’t mind. Don Plinio agrees and goes for the keys to show
them the house.
Francystco drinks a beer as he waits for Fabi and thinks
she is taking long. He calls her, but gets the “unavailable” message. He then
sends a text message asking her if she is still at the theater.
After Don Plinio shows Ramón and Fabi the house and
leaves, Ramón tells Fabi that no one will find them there. Fabi feels safe
where ever as long as she is with him.
At Night—
At her apartment, Marg calls Porfi to see how he is
feeling. After he tells her he is feeling well, Marg comments that she would
like to stay in her own home for the night. Before they hang up, Porfi asks how
she is doing; and she replies she is fine…somewhat sad, but it’ll pass. Right
after Marg hangs up, the doorbell rings. She opens the door to find Antonio and
Diego. When she addresses Diego, Diego tells her that his father is very sad
because she isn’t his girlfriend. Since Diego doesn’t like to see his dad sad,
he asks Marg if they can’t get back together. When Marg asks Diego if they can
get along as they used to, Diego agrees, if that is what will make his father
happy. Antonio then asks Marg to forgive him for being so stupid; and Marg nods
and tells him she forgives him.
In the modest home, Ramón calls Valente to tell him he
has already found a job. Since the shop is open 24 hours, Ramón started that
night. After Ramón hangs up, he tells Fabi that he has his story in case
something comes up. When Fabi wonders if Francystco will look for her (her
pea-size brain just shrunk), Ramón replies that when Francystco realizes she
isn’t going to return home, he will look for her with him, with Juana, with
Andrea…with everyone. Fabi thinks Francystco might not because he would have to
explain too many things; and it wouldn’t benefit him…unless he decides to file
charges against her. Ramón suggests that they contact Marg in the morning, so
she can start working on it; for now, he just wants to think about how they are
together…forever.
At Luisa’s, Sofía arrives asking for Ramón. When Valente
tells her he isn’t there, Sofía wants to wait for him, but Valente tells her it
won’t do any good since Ramón won’t be coming home. Sofía pleads that Valente
help her make Ramón return, so Valente
tells Sofía that Ramón already found a job on the outskirts of Toluca. Sofía
continues to plead and tells Valente that the shop will go down without Ramón.
When she asks for the address of Ramón’s new job, Valente replies he doesn’t
know it and advises her to leave Ramón alone…he won’t return to her. Sofía
becomes SOFurious and tells Valente to save his advice as she storms out.
Valente then gets a call from Benito who wants to meet him at the Paisa taco
place.
At Marg’s, they are getting ready to eat
pizza when Roxana calls wanting to talk to Diego. When Diego tells her they are
having pizza at Marg’s place, Roxana seems happy that he is having something so
delicious (and no reaction to him being at Marg’s place!). Diego asks if she
will be returning soon, but Roxana can’t; so Diego hands over the phone to his
dad. After she hangs up, Roxana mumbles that things will never be the same; she
lost them because of her stupidity.
As they eat tacos, Benito tells Valente
that Ada got him a job where she works. Benito describes what he has to do, but
Valente tells him that’s a job he used to have; and it’s not that bad. Benito
then mentions that Valente should go by there since they have another opening;
and, as Valente thanks him, Luisa and Dalia arrive and sit right behind Benito.
After Benito whispers to Valente to follow his lead, Benito loudly tells
Valente that he and Ada will soon marry. After Valente congratulates him,
Benito states that Ada gets along so-o-o well with his mother. Luisa then lets
out a cry and tells Dalia that she is so happy! When Dalia asks her why, Luisa
extends her arm showing off her ring and tells Dalia that Finito has just given
her a great surprise…his love is so great that he lives just to make her happy.
After Dalia tells her to lower her voice,
Luisa continues that Finito has gotten them a divine site for their wedding
that will take place in fifteen days. Dalia thinks it’s too soon, but Luisa
replies that it is what they most want…to be husband and wife. Benito then
tells Valente that there aren’t any women like Ada…unconditional, attentive, and
caring. When they are alone…Oh! What a woman! When Valente asks when his
wedding will be, Benito replies that if it were up to him, they would marry
tomorrow. Valente then gets encouraged and loudly tells Benito that he would
give anything to find a woman who doesn’t get star-gazed with whatever little
thing; so Dalia tells Luisa that she is so-o-o happy with Rulo because he is so
thoughtful and kind. She doesn’t know how she hadn’t realized that he is the
man of her life. Valente tells Benito that it is so good he found someone who
knows what she wants…not like OTHERS! Benito adds that sometimes people waste their
time with who knows whom…or rather with whom they shouldn’t; true love is not
always where one thinks. As Valente and Benito get up to leave, Benito looks at
Luisa, pretends not to know that they were there and tells them to enjoy their
food. As they walk home, Valente comments that Benito really got to Luisa, but
points out what Luisa said about getting married soon. Benito thinks that’s why
he needs to turn up the pressure. He knows in his heart that Luisa loves him; and
the heart is never wrong. When Benito asks if Valente is still interested in
Dalia, Valente thinks it’s not worth it; she doesn’t even pay attention to him.
Benito advises Valente not to give up; he doesn’t think Dalia will last long
with Rulo. Rulo is his nephew, but Rulo is no sweet prize. Benito also wonders
how Rulo has gotten so much money so quickly; Benito doesn’t get a good feeling
about it. Benito wonders what Rulo is into; though knowing Rulo, it can’t be
anything good.
At the modest home, Ramón and Fabi tell each other how
much they miss each other. They slowly undress each other as they kiss
passionately and fall onto the bed…
At
Hortensia’s, Julio arrives and as Juana approaches to greet him, he grabs her
and kisses her. Juana pushes him away because she is afraid Hortensia might
catch them which might confuse Hortensia more. Julio suggests they could tell
Hortensia they are “novios” since Juana gets along so well with her now. When
Julio asks if she has told Andrea and Jorge that they wil be going to the farm
tomorrow, Juana tells him she forgot, but will call them as soon as she gets
back to her home.
Post
coitus, Ramón describes how, during his lonely nights, he would retrace her
body with his mind and his heart; and he would feel her as he feels her now.
Fabi thinks he exaggerates, but Ramón believes she is a goddess. She then tells
him that the only way she survived was by thinking of him. He assures her that
they will be together for the rest of their lives; and their little one will be
happy together with them.
At his apartment, Francystco calls Fabi and gets the
“unavailable” message again. He then calls Andrea who tells him that Fabi took
a taxi after they left the theater. When Andrea suggests Francystco call Fabi
and he tells her he already has, but she doesn’t answer, Andrea hopes nothing
bad has happened. After Andrea asks him to call her if he finds out anything,
Francystco hangs up and knows that wretch (Andrea) is lying and thinks Fabi is
with that imbecile.
As Luisa and Dalia arrive at their home, Dalia tells Luisa
that she clearly got upset with what Benito said about getting married. Luisa
starts ranting about how Benito spent five years telling her she was the love
of his life; and the first chance he gets, he is marrying someone else. Dalia
reminds Luisa that she gave up Benito for Finito, but Luisa thinks it was
Benito’s fault; he never recognized her as his girlfriend. Luisa then wonders
what Dalia has going with Valente. When Luisa tells Dalia that she didn’t know Valente
liked her, Dalia doubts that he does and thinks he is somewhat foolish; though
Luisa thinks Valente is a good man…and handsome, unlike Rulo who seems to be a
boor. Dalia reminds Luisa that she always pushed her to go out with Rulo, but
Luisa has changed her mind.; she doesn’t think Rulo is good for Dalia. Luisa
sneers as she asks Dalia where her boyfriend is now. Rulo gave her the necklace
just so she could give him the go ahead; and he hasn’t looked for her since
then…not even to go out for a cup of coffee. After Dalia retorts that Rulo has
many things he needs to do…and they don’t always have to be together, Luisa gives
up and tells Dalia she should know what she does; and, after Dalia shouts that
she does know, she storms out.
At Rulo’s, Rulo chides Darío for nervously
tapping on the table. Darío wants to go finish the job with the doctor, but
Rulo wants to wait a few days so the doc will miss them; then they will finish
the whole job. Darío is anxious about the people that are after him, but Rulo
assures him that as long as he stays with him, they won’t do anything to Darío.
Just then, Dalia calls Rulo. When Rulo tells her he’s with Chava, Dalia chides
him for having time for his friends, but not for her. To appease her, Rulo
tells her, he met up with Chava on the way home…Rulo worked late at the shop.
In front of MedFer, Oozie meets with Palomo and hands him
a bag. Palomo then gives him another bag to safeguard for him. Oozie complains;
so Palomo tells him he will pay extra. When Oozie asks if he will get paid with
merchandise or money, Palomo tosses him a wad of money which satisfies Oozie.
At the modest home, as they’re still together in bed,
Fabi wonders when Francystco will stop calling. Ramón thinks he’ll stop when he
realizes she is not going to return. Fabi’s phone rings again, but this time
it’s Andrea who tells her about Francystco call to her. Andrea also tell Fabi
that Juana and Julio will be coming to the farm in the morning, so Fabi and
Ramón shouldn’t go over. Fabi assures her that she doesn’t plan on leaving the
house until things get settled. After Fabi tells Andrea that Ramón will go talk
to Marg early tomorrow, Andrea responds that she will go have breakfast with
her in the morning. After she hangs up, Fabi is afraid because Francystco
already knows she isn’t with Andrea and is probably looking for her. Ramón
tells her to calm down and kisses her.
Next Morning—
Ramón is up and dressed at five o’clock in the morning
since he has to go to Luisa’s to change clothes; then he has to go talk to Marg
and get back in time to work with Don Plinio. Ramón will call her later and
tells Fabi to take care. As he starts to leave, Fabi calls him back to her and
asks him to promise that this time he will return. After they said good-bye,
before going to the civil office, they never saw each other again. Ramón
assures Fabi that will not happen again; everything will be alright. Fabi cries
and asks him to promise; so Ramón promises and kisses her. He tells her that
whatever happens, she should never doubt his love; Fabi cries that he shouldn’t
doubt hers either. After he leaves, Fabi lays back down and cries.
At Luisa’s, Ramón enters as Luisa reads a
pamphlet in her pajamas. After he tells her about his new job and that he will
be provided a room, he asks why Luisa is up so early, so she tells him she has
to go take care of Hortensia since Juana and Julio are going to the farm. They
talk about Julio accepting Andrea’s and Jorge’s relationship. Ramón then offers
to make breakfast so she can go get dressed.
Francystco calls Rebeca who is still in
bed; he needs a favor. When Francystco tells her to go to the old lady’s house
and see if Fabi has gone by there, Rebeca tells him (he’s sh*t-outa-luck) that
this time, she can’t help him. She is too discontent with him to be doing him
favors…much less helping him recuperate his wife. Francystco warns her that if
she doesn’t do it they both will end up losing; their little scheme will fall
apart. Rebeca is dismayed that he still hasn’t gotten the money, but Francystco
explains that he has gotten some. He wants to force Fabi’s hand so she will
sign over a large sum of money to him; afterwards, he and Rebeca can go far
away. Rebeca agrees and tells him that next time she calls him over to see her,
he’d better be there.
At Luisa’s, Ramón enters his room to
change. Valente is there and tells him about Sofía coming by to look for him
because she wants him to return to work with her. After Valente tells Ramón
that he also told Sofía that Ramón wouldn’t return especially now that he has a
job, Ramón hopes that Sofía gets the hint; he wants nothing to do with her and
she should look for another mechanic. Ramón quickly gets his things while
Valente tells him that Sofía also fired Benito. After Ramón reminds Valente
that he told them to expect to be let go, Ramón leaves.
At Porfi’s, Marg arrives ready to go on their trip. When
Porfi notes that she looks happy, Marg shares that she reconciled with Antonio
who went to her place with Diego…and they were both very sweet. Diego even told
her that as long as his father was happy, he didn’t care that she was with him.
After Marg tells Porfi that Antonio asked her to forgive him, they leave to go
on their trip.
At Luisa’s, Ramón sees Dalia and tells her about his new
job. When she wonders if he is ever going to return to Ramso, he tells her
(hell, NO!) he definitely isn’t and leaves.
At the modest home, Andrea arrives with breakfast. When
she asks Fabi how her night was, Fabi shares that she was very happy to be with
Ramón, but also very worried because she doesn’t know what Francystco will do.
As Andrea tells Fabi to enjoy her time with Ramón, Ramón calls Fabi to tell her
he can’t reach Marg by phone, so he is headed to her apartment.
Luisa arrives at Hortensia’s to find Julio waiting for
her because he has to leave. After Julio leaves, Rebeca shows up with the
excuse that she forgot her credentials. After she goes to the guest bedroom and
returns pretending that she found them, she chitchats with Luisa and casually
asks about Hortensia’s granddaughters; so Luisa tells them they have been by in
quite a while. After Luisa comments that it’s good that Hortensia isn’t
affected since she thinks the girls are still children, Rebeca leaves.
At Benito’s, Fredes thinks it’s a blessing that Ada and
Benito will work at the same place. It’s clear that they are destined to be
together; though she would prefer they work somewhere other than a mortuary…she
doesn’t like those places. Benito complains about having to put cadavers in
body bags, but Fredes thinks they need the money. As she reaches to pat his
arm, her twitches start and she chides Benito for seeing Luisa…Ada will be very
upset if she finds out. Benito denies it, but Fredes tells him not to even mention
her name; she might have a fit.
As Rebeca leaves the apartment building, she calls
Francystco, who is watching for Ramón at Ramso’s, to report that Fabi has not
been there. When she asks when they will see each other, Francystco tells her
he’ll let her know. When she reminds him he promised, he tells her he first
needs to find his stupid wife; then they can talk. After he hangs up,
Francystco thinks that if Ramón isn’t at Ramso’s, it’s because he left with
Fabi. Meanwhile, Dalia tells the mechanics that Sofía will not be showing up
for the day, so she can pay them. When the men complain, Dalia tells them they
will get paid on Monday, so they walk away. As they walk past Francystco’s car,
he hears them complain about Ramón leaving since Ramón was the one that treated
them well.
As Ramón arrives at Marg’s building, Sofía sees him. She
runs to him and starts kissing him.
Ramón pushes her away and tells her he didn’t come to
look for her. When Sofía tells him she thought Valente had given him her
message, Ramón confirms that Valente did give him the message, but he doesn’t
know what other way he can tell her that he wants nothing to do with her; he’s
just not interested. After Ramón walks away, Sofía runs after him. As he rings
Marg’s doorbell, Sofía tells him he is not going to leave her. Ramón reiterates
that what they had is over; he wants nothing to do with her…not personally or
professionally. Sofía insists that he couldn’t have forgotten what he felt for
her. Ramón retorts that he loved her once, but no more; he loves Fabi and he
will make a life with her. Sofía laughs, then furiously reminds Ramón that Fabi
is married. Ramón then tells Sofía that Fabi’s no longer with Francystco and
walks away since Marg is not home.
At Ramso’s, Francystco enters and asks
Dalia what she knows of Ramón. When Dalia jeers that she knows nothing and if
she did, she wouldn’t tell him, Francystco grabs her by the arm and reminds her
that they were accomplices. If she doesn’t want Ramón to find out, she’s better
tell him where Ramón is. When she scoffs and asks if he is threatening her,
Francystco grabs her by the throat and tells her not to play games with him.
Dalia then pulls his hand off of her and tells him that Ramón left Sofía and no
longer works there. When she tells him that Ramón has another job, Francystco
asks her if Ramón has seen Fabi. Dalia jeers that he should know since he is
her husband; so Francystco grabs her again and tells her not to be funny. After
Francystco tells her Fabi left his house, Dalia assures him that Fabi isn’t
with Ramón because he lives at her house. Francystco then orders Dalia to tell
him everything Ramón does...and she’d better not cover him or he will tell
Ramón that thanks to her, Sofía found him. After Francystco leaves, Dalia is
dismayed that these things only happen to her…blackmailed from both sides.
At the modest hide-away, Andrea tells Fabi about how the
crops were destroyed. Ramón then calls Fabi to let her know he can’t find Marg.
He will keep trying, but for now, he has to go to work, then will go by to see
her (Fabi). After Andrea assures Fabi that Marg will show up sooner or later,
she leaves because Juana and Julio should be arriving soon.
In
her apartment, Sofía prays to two“Doblegado a tus pies” candles (“Bowed at your
feet” which is a mystical candle which is loaded with minerals, herbs and
powders and used to dominate or conquer a love interest) and requests that they
show their power and enter into Ramón’s thoughts to make him think of her.
As Sofía prays, she hears someone knocking at Marg’s door. When she opens her door,
she sees Francystco and asks,” Are you looking for Fabiola?” When he wonders
how she knows, Sofía tells him Ramón was there and mentioned Fabi. Francystco
assumes that means that Fabi is with Ramón. When he asks Sofía if she knows
where Ramón is, Sofía responds that Ramón didn’t tell her, but it’s to be
expected that they’er together. After Francystco tells her he is indebted to
her, Sofía tells him that as long as he keeps Ramón from being with Fabi, she
will consider it her payback. Francisco replies, “Consider it done.”
