Papa a Toda Madre #37 2.8.18: The Price is Right...But For Who?

Or Sometimes Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth

Mauricio tells Kika that it’s best they break off everything between them because he’s not sure of what he feels and confesses that he feels something but for Renee. Kika can’t believe he’s trying to breakup with her, after all she’s done for him, but Mauricio reminds her that he rejected her investment at Logatoys and she proposed to him and he only accepted out of respect. Kika is shocked at his decision but Mauricio is done talking and tells her he has to go and get Anifer. Kika is left screaming and talking to herself that he can’t trade her for a maid. She then runs after him as everyone in the hospital stares.

Later, Mauricio wheels Anifer inside their home and asks her to be careful lest she break another leg. He then tells Anifer that he has to go into Logatoys and Renee offers to take care of Anifer in the meantime. She then states that she will fine a place nearby when she moves and Anifer wonders when she decided this. Mauricio explains that Renee thought of leaving but things changed and no she’s not leaving and he’s not getting married and isn’t Kiki’s boyfriend either. Anifer is ecstatic, as she hated the way Kika grabbed her cheek, and Renee tells Mauricio she will talk to him later and goes to the kitchen. Inside the kitchen, Renee jumps up and down at all the excellent news.

Later, Mauricio runs into Jorge (who he calls Geronimo) and asks what he’s doing there. Jorge explains that he came to pick up some things and asks about Anifer. Mauricio tells him she is great and is going to ask Rodrigo and Rafael for some things to help him take better care of her. Jorge wonders why, and can’t understand how they allow them live in the cul-de-sac, and Mauricio explains that he is al for peace, love and diversity. Jorge says he does too but still can’t understand how two men can get married. Mauricio explains that the world changed and anyone should be allowed to from a family, if they want. Jorge thinks they aren’t real men, like them, but Mauricio thinks they have two eyes, mouth, etc. Either way, he should live and let live. Jorge reveals that he landed in jail because of them but Mauricio states it was probably a mistake and then leaves “Gerardo” to his own prejudices.

In her hotel room, Kika video chats with Charytin, shocked that Mauricio broke up with her but her sister knew Mauricio couldn’t be trusted. Kika remembers Mauricio’s prom prank and states that Mauricio has dumped her again but she won’t let sleeping dogs lie. She vows revenge again because no one humiliates her twice, especially since she’s looked twice as good as any of the Kardasians.

After lunch, Mauricio announces that he’s going to Logatoys and says goodbye to both Renee and Anifer. Kika then calls Mauricio to ask for her sports car back and he asks her to meet him at Logatoys. She demands he bring it to her hotel as she took it to his dump beforehand. Mauricio agrees and then hangs up as Renee signals him to go to the kitchen. Anifer tells them that she gets they don’t want her to listen in and smiles slightly.

In the kitchen, Renee warns Mauricio to be careful as Kika may be planning something against him. Mauricio doesn’t think Kika will do anything, wonders why women exaggerate, and then says goodbye again. Once alone, Anifer demands to know if Renee wanted to leave her house because she’s in love with Mauricio. Renee is speechless.

Outside, Mauricio runs into Tono and his children who are on their way to see Anifer. Mauricio tells them to go right ahead and the three children go ahead as Tono as Mauricio about Sebastian. Tono wants to know how Sebastian is, as he is Veronica’s boss and way too close to her, and Mauricio warns him to be careful as Sebastian doesn’t care if a woman is married, old, fat, with kids, he wants them all. Tono asks him to stop and Mauricio suggests he calm down, as Sebastian may not want Veronica at all. Tono nods.

Renee explains that she loves Anifer and Mauricio is her father so she cares for him. Anifer repeats the question again, point blank, but Renee is saved by the bell; it’s Tono’s children, who have come to see how Anifer is doing. Renee thanks her good luck and sighs deeply.

Jorge arrives home with his own children and Baldo immediately gets out and gawks at Mauricio’s car as Jorge asks them to go do their homework. As Mauricio assures Tono that Veronica is likely satisfied because he’s a tiger in bed, Baldo and Jorge look at the car. Jorge tries to bond with his son by talking about cars and his childhood dream of being a NASCAR racer. Baldo asks if he would buy a sports car but Jorge explains that he’s too poor to buy a car like that one and it’s very impractical for the city. Baldo states that Jorge complains too much as Mauricio comes over and asks “Julio” and “Jorge” to do him a big favor.

Neron has fallen asleep in his bed, boats and all, and Flor tries to wake him up for breakfast but he’s sleeping soundly. After a moment, he wakes up and grabs her, as she’s lit the fire in him, but Flor has to check on Milady and runs off for a moment. Once alone, Neron takes out the sex pills and drinks two pills for up to 32 hours of pleasure since they are made of all natural ingredients.

Jorge and Baldo pile into Mauricio’s car to go and drive it over to Kika’s hotel but Jorge, despite his excitement, drives the car slowly because he’s too scared.

Anifer shows the Barrientos’ children her cast and Ernesto states that he wants one but Tono asks him to be quiet. Renee then asks Tono about Veronica and he explains that she’s taking a lot of trips with her company. Renee thinks that’s great, as it shows how much they trust her, but Tono looks unconvinced. Renee then goes to make some snacks for the kids and Tono steps away to call Veronica’s cell. Sebastian answers and Tono is shocked; he hangs up immediately.

Jorge and Baldo have stopped the car on the side of the road and they look over the car’s engine. Baldo is shocked at how much he knows about the car and asks if he can drive, as he has his learner’s permit. Jorge doesn’t think it’s a good idea so Baldo asks him to accelerate a little more and Jorge says he will consider it.

Mauricio arrives at Logatoys and finds Falcon waiting in his office. Falcon chides him for disappearing on everyone in the company, at the most inopportune time, but Mauricio explains that his daughter had an accident. Falcon is happy to hear she’s okay though, as Logatoys is not, and Mauricio asks for details on the machine’s failure. Falcon is not sure but he tells Mauricio that the news toys won’t be in the market for Christmas. Mauricio thinks they should do something, fast, but Falcon just wants Mauricio to repay him, or else. Mauricio is floored.

Jorge accelerates down the street and is stopped by a police officer, much to his chagrin, who asks him to step out of the car so they can talk. Jorge asks Baldo to remain calm and gets out to talk to the officer. Jorge begs him to reconsider the ticket, as he’s finally getting along with his son, but the officer states that he will arrest him and his son instead as the car has been reported stolen. Jorge is shocked.

Mauricio reminds Falcon that the loan he gave him is with the company but Falcon reminds him of the loan he gave him for the manufacturing of the toys is personal so he needs to be rapid and suggests he do it with the money Kika invested. Mauricio cringes and Falcon thinks he will be in big trouble since he won’t have sufficient funds to restart the toy manufacturing. Mauricio reveals that they don’t count with Kika’s investment anymore but Falcon still wants his money. Mauricio tries to call Fabian but remembers he is on vacation and states that he will resolve his problems alone. Falcon thinks that is great but wants his money ASAP. He leaves as Mauricio wonders what to do.

The police officer puts handcuffs on Jorge and Baldo and puts them in the back of the police car as Jorge begs him to let Baldo go. The officer doesn’t care and takes them both to the station as Jorge assures Baldo everything will be okay.

Neron nibbles on Flor’s neck and tries to get it on but she thinks he’s being too rough and wants him to romance her like before. He suggests they go out dancing and then go back for some snuggles and Flor smiles. She then goes off to go get Milady, as she’s worried the little girl has forgotten him, so she can sleep with him for a bit.

Renee gives the children and Tono some snacks before receiving a call from Neron, who asks her to take care of Milady for a bit while he and Flor go out. Renee is more than happy to help but asks him to bring the baby and Pablo over so he can help her, as she has to care for Anifer as well.

Veronica comes back to the office meeting and Sebastian tells her she answered her cell phone. Veronica chides him for answering, as her cell phone is private property, but Sebastian thinks she’s exaggerating and goes off to get his iPod. Veronica then asks Tina if Sebastian is always so aloof and nosy and she confirms he is.

Mauricio tours the assembly line and talks to the supervisor about what happened. The supervisor has no idea what happened but promises to find out immediately. He goes off as Gladys calls and tells Mauricio that “Jaime” has disappeared. Mauricio wonders where he could be.

In a jail cell, Jorge asks Baldo to forgive him and be calm, as he will get them out soon. Baldo is calm as he’s gone through worse things. He then reveals that he was mugged horribly on his way to the US border and had a hard time afterward. Jorge apologizes for not being there for him, as a father, and asks him to answer his difficult situation. Baldo can’t understand how he stayed with Dulce, as Yuriria was the love of his life, and Jorge explains that he didn’t know they existed until they were two and by then Valentina was on the way and he didn’t want to get divorced. He reiterates that all he has done was for the benefit of his family. Baldo slightly nods as Kika arrives, hoping to see Mauricio, but instead finds Jorge and Baldo.

Lili tells Pablo that she may have a job for him at her school and Pablo thanks her for helping. He hopes she will have the money to go to the US soon but wonders how he will communicate with anyone, as he doesn’t know English. Lili can help with that and they make a deal for Pablo to help Lili with math and Lili to help Pablo with English. She wonders where they can meet and Pablo has a place, at least for today.

Samuel chats with his Blue Shark group, who states that he only has one challenge to go, and he smiles. A few feet away, Valentina asks him if he knows where Baldo and Lili are, and Samuel thinks they’re around but go by unpunished since they are the children of Yuriria, the love of Jorge’s life. Valentina thinks he’s being ridiculous and walks away as Samuel reads up on the Blue Shark group, which brainwashes people like him.

As Flor leaves Milady with Pablo, Neron comes out of the bedroom with a modern ensemble, and they ask him if he’s borrowing his son’s clothes. Neron asks them to be quiet and then goes to drop off Milady at Renee’s as Pablo and Flor giggle behind his back.

Jorge explains to the detective that he stole nothing and she only reported stolen to get back at Mauricio. He then asks if she didn’t give the car to Mauricio as a gift, and Jorge nods, so she can’t understand why Jorge had it. Jorge explains that Mauricio asked them to take the car to her hotel as a favor but Kika has had enough and reveals it was all a prank. The detective asks them all to leave, as they’re free to go, and demands Kika not accuse anyone else without proof. Jorge then screams at Kika to not do this again but she prefers to talk about her investment at Logatoys. She asks him to help her finish the paperwork, to surprise Mauricio, as he left suddenly to care for Anifer. Jorge is unsure but she grabs his tie and smiles.

Veronica arrives home and her children hug her and ask if she’s going on a trip again. She confirms she is but is going to bring them gifts. They cheer as Tono comes, asks the kids to do their homework, and calls Veronica off to the side so they can talk about their delayed anniversary celebration. Veronica asks him for some time, as she’s very busy, but Tono is tired of hearing excuses. Veronica asks him to calm down and be quiet but Tono is sick of her disappearing and never having any time for them.

Neron and Flor drop off Milady at Renee’s and she comments on how nice and modern he looks. They leave a Rafael arrives and inquires about Anifer’s health. Renee tells her she is okay and offers him and Pablo some tea. Rafael accepts and Pablo tells her that he has to go get something quick before leaving.

Tono begs Veronica not to leave on another trip, as this is not what they agreed on, and reminds her of all the changes she’s made to herself recently. He confesses that he misses the old Veronica, who would never buy a car without consulting him or dye her hair the way she did. Veronica frowns slightly, taken aback by his work.

Anifer talks to Mauricio and tells him that she is behaving perfectly and nothing hurts. He then tells her that he will be arriving soon and Anifer passes the phone to Renee because Renee wants to tell him something. Renee takes the phone from him, surprised, but states she has nothing to say. Mauricio does and begs her to come to Logatoys and see what happened at the assembly line. Renee agrees, but can’t right now, as she’s caring for Anifer and Milady but will be free soon. When they hang up, Gladys storms inside Mauricio’s office and orders him to go to the boardroom as Jorge and Falcon are waiting.

Neron and Flor are dancing in the club and she’s happy that they are recapturing their glory days. Flor then asks him to not stay out so late as to not take advantage of Renee’s generosity and Neron asks for a few more hours. She agrees and they continue to dance when a man approaches her and asks her to dance. She states that she has someone with her but turns around and finds Neron on the floor, unconscious. She asks him to please wake up but he doesn’t stir.

In the boardroom, Jorge tells Mauricio about what happened with Kika and Mauricio laments it but states she is no longer his girlfriend. Jorge warns him to be wary of a scorned woman as Falcon comes in and demands to know why the urgent board meeting. Jorge reveals that he has asked them all here because he has a surprise that has to do with Kika. Just then, Kika walks in and announces that her investment has just been deposited in the Logatoys account. Jorge hands Mauricio the documents and he is shocked as he thought he made things very clear to Kika. She smiles wide and declares that they won’t get rid of her that easily…

Mr. AAA very nice and a big thank you. I somehow knew that little witch was reporting it stolen when Geronimo got in to drive it. That is why I had asked early on did she give him the car (title) or the keys. Muy importante.
Sheezo looks like Mr Luuuurve pill had a hard Attack. Oops.

Could Flor wear anything shorter.? She does have a great pair of sticks though.

Nice seeing Jeramiah and Baldo doing some Father Son bonding....in JAIL.. Ha.

Renee gets more lovable every minute. Her secret kitchen celebration was cute.

In real life Lili is 20 years old. Yikes !

Mr AAA, thank you! Another great recap and funny titles. As usual I missed a good deal of the dialog, especially with Neron and Flor. I was very happy to get filled in as to their conversations. But poor Neron!

Jorge and Baldo having some quality time together was nice... and a bit funny as they wound up behind bars. But Jorge seems to have a legit interest in cars, which impressed Baldo. And Baldo told Jorge about some rough parts of his life. I hope he tells someone about Sammy and the Blue Sharks.

And I hope Pablo and Lili stick to studying and some light fun. Too soon to get horizontal.

I would have liked to see Mau be a bit more considerate when he broke up with Kika. He owes her that much because of what he did to her in high school. Yeah, that was a long time ago, but he did treat her very callously back then. It's not a really big deal now, but I think it would have been nice.

Ya know, sometimes I wonder about myself taking characters and events in a TN so seriously. Ah, well, maybe I need to get one of those beanies... and maybe a life.

:-)

Thank you, Alfredo, for another outstanding and enjoyable recap.

“Jeremiah” and Baldo, very funny, Kirby. That being said, it was interesting hearing Baldo the Brat talk about his “less than nice” life in TJ. At least Jorge of “no...sí...es decir” fame apologized to him.

Andy, poor Nerón is right: all decked out and passed out.

Poor Samuel! He identified himself with the victims of the Blue Shark site.

Poor Toño finding out that Sebastián is a non-discriminatory ladies man.

As we could have expected, Kika is not going anywhere soon.

Morning patio. Morning majestic eagle.

Alfredo, another fantastic installment.

"then leaves “Gerardo” to his own prejudices" and "Renee jumps up and down at all the excellent news" were among many favorites.

Mau seems permanently unflustered. I wish a tenth of that would rub off on me. Except for genuine conern over anifer, not much seems to phase him. All is well in Mauricio world.

Kikla - "no one humiliates her twice, especially since she’s looked twice as good as any of the Kardasians" - sigh. "Mauricio doesn’t think Kika will do anything, wonders why women exaggerate - sigh.

“sex pills…since they are made of all natural ingredients”. Oh yes. Of course.

I also liked Jorge and Baldo bonding for the few pitiful moments they were allowed to do so before Kikla's interference ruined it. Andy, I am hoping tells Jorge about Samuel's predicament, but if he hasn't mentioned it by now?

So, poor Neron...I had to smile, but I have to say, he looked pretty good dressed up in his plether/leather. And I see I'm behind on yet another fashion trend - just wearing your shirt a la Flor.

Kirby, I also like Renee. I'm still baffled by the sweatshirt with the smiling emoji and other embellishments...

The highlight for me was Milady in that stunning bonnet.

I hope Judy made it to Charlotte safely.

I can't say enough as to how happy I am that it's Friday. I could kiss the ground.

Alfredo, thank you!

Diana

Jarifa, "Poor Toño finding out that Sebastián is a non-discriminatory ladies man" was spot on.

Vero looked tired and unhappy last night. I am not happy with the way and speed their relationship is deteriorating.

Diana

Diana, I am finding the Verónica/Toño situation interesting because she is just acting like many men when it comes to home and family. She is supporting them, she says she loves them, so what is the problem? Looks like that pattern does not work for anyone regardless of sex.

What I thought was THE ODDEST was Neuron had on a standard issue LooneyVision Pleather jacket with the oversize lapels and seventeen zippers and snaps. He could have borrowed it from Fabiola or Renee, but it was in a color I had not seen yet. But the same friggin jacket, same zippers and snaps, and in the way belt.

It is hilarious how Mauricio can not remember Jorkalong's name. When they were admiring Not His car he even asked Baldo Jungo's name. Then summarily called him something else preposterous. I don't know how those two don't laugh right into the camera.

Kissing the ground is good if you do it gently, Diana.

I don't know what to make of Mauricio's calm. People are clamoring for a spot in lifeboats, and he is making himself a ham sandwich.? ? ? He either is too dam dumb to notice the ocean is getting fuller or he is confident to a degree unseen before.

Hoppy Friday

'Just wearing your shirt" :-)
Out to a bar full of horny, drunk guys about your husband's sons ages.

Did Neuron really pass out or was he just playing possum?

Oh Wait. They're not actually married. I keep getting thrown off by the couples with children and like Jarando, I think they should be married.

“Jarando” another funny one!

"...she is just acting like many men when it comes to home and family. She is supporting them, she says she loves them, so what is the problem". Jarifa, thank you for stating the situation exactly as it is. No need for me to struggle to understand - you did so perfectly.

Kirby, is Mau just dumb, unaware, living in fantasy land? Check, check, check. Again, I would just like to be blissfully unaware once in a while.

I suspect he will not be able to ignore Kikla. She saw Fatal Attraction and she is not going anywhere...

Diana

Good morning, patio. TGIF, right?

Thank you, Alfredo, for the great recap. I loved the title.

Jimmy and BAldy bonding in jail. Hey, tell dear old dad about the mess your half bro has himself in.

milady is so adorable.

I still do not like VEro's new blonde with 2 inches of dark roots Luke. I hopeo that she is smart enough not to fall for Smarmy McSmarmerson.

Poor Neuron..work, the dye job hair, the gym, the pleather jacket ,a hot young honey, and trying so hard to be something he is not...30 years younger.

Everyone looks tired and sick and tired of being sick and tired. Maybe everyone needs to hit the reset button which is what Maury thinks he is doing , but, guy, it is not going to be that easy because...hell hath , you know.

Diana: "She saw Fatal Attraction & she is not going anywhere..."

Sounds just about right on Kika, she looks like Glenn Close.

Thank you, Alfredo.

Kika would get in jail herself for the prank with the stolen car, if it were in the USA. Here, the official just told her "don't do it again."

The "involuntary" investment. I thought both parties had to sign an agreement for an investment like that. Here it was "Surprise!! Someone just invested in your company!"

Nerón is giving himself a lesson that you cannot turn the clock back (there are disagreements about DST.) Totally his own thing. Flor has not done or said anything to prompt it.

I know Tono’s selfish, but I agree with him that Veronica’s being selfish as well. She’s barely there for her family, doesn’t take Tono’s opinion into consideration, she’s getting cold too. She couldn’t even call back Tono or text him to let him know they’d talk later, but she can quickly pick up Sebastian’s call in the middle of a conversation? What if something had happened to one of her children? I also agree with Tono that he didn’t sign up for her constant work trips: they never discussed it, she just goes off whenever she wants like she has no husband or kids. Saying you love your family isn’t enough. The bleach got to her brain or something.

Maia

Neuron: FWIW, there is a certain comfort in realizing that you can not run as fast as you used to, and that a lot of that running was not actually necessary to begin with. And along with that an almost smugness knowing you can outsmart them all.

Just saying....................

Is an involuntary investment a real thing, and is it the same as a hostile take over? I don't understand either.

Kirby...now that reminds me of an old joke about a bull and his son standing at the top of a hill looking down at a herd of cows....the perspectives are different.

Yeah, that 'them all' joke is old as the hills.
And it's still dam funny.

I believe they are yanking our yingyang about this involuntary investment.

Kirby...yeah..that one and the rooster\buzzards joke....a little Future Farmers of America humor.

If I am not mistaken, a hostile takeover is only possible with a publicly traded company where an entity is able to buy a controlling interest in the company through stock or other purchases.

Kika's thing would not be possible in a privately held in essence, proprietorship with just one (falcon) investor.

I think, but this is far from my specialty. Mooo

Gee Maia, I would hate to think Vero is being selfish at this point. I think she is overwhelmed on all fronts.

In fairness, I'm not quite sure companies are totally upfront about how much extra hours are needed to be able to do the job or about how much travel is involved. I speak from personal experience:)

Sometimes, travel necessity arises and feeling you must go is not always an easy or happy decision.

I believe I saw warm affection and love for her children when she started packing. And pretty much all the time.

I do wish she would make Sebastian wait once and a while before she picks up the phone but as I've been there and had to do that, I understand.

Diana

Good Day, Everyone! Late start on the patio for me today, but happy that everyone has already brought up just about everything I would have commented on....sooo DITTO!

Mr. AAA, excellent recap as always...thank you!

I do tend to agree with Maia, though. I wouldn't describe Veronica as selfish, though; she does seem to be enjoying the challenges of her job and has been giving her job priority. Jarifa made a great observation, ""...she is just acting like many men when it comes to home and family. She is supporting them, she says she loves them..." which shows a complete role reversal for Veronica. OTOH, being that she has been on both sides now, (IMO) she should be more cautious and considerate of those she leave behind...in her home. I know that is very difficult, but I think she should be more understanding of Tonto..OMGosh, am I actually defending Tonto???

Andy, "Jorge and Baldo having some quality time together was nice... and a bit funny as they wound up behind bars." Finally some quality time for father and son! Could this be the turning point for Jorge? Susy, I too hope that Baldo becomes close enough to Jorge to tell him about Sami.

Jarifa, "Poor Samuel! He identified himself with the victims of the Blue Shark site." It's so sad that, nowadays, so many young people look to those sites for acceptance. How far will Sami go before he realizes, or someone makes him realize, that he needs to get as far away from those people as possible.

Diana, "The highlight for me was Milady in that stunning bonnet." She was really cute!

Kirby, "Neuron: FWIW, there is a certain comfort in realizing that you can not run as fast as you used to, and that a lot of that running was not actually necessary to begin with. And along with that an almost smugness knowing you can outsmart them all." Very wise and valuable words!

Well put, Diana. I have been there, too. A lot of times it comes down to it being just what the job is and you can make ypurself expendable very easily.

I think it may be the complete role reversal that makes me think she’s being selfish. I agree with RGV chick that she should be aware of both sides of the coin, so maybe she’s being inconsiderate?

The loving scene with her kids helping her pack only occurred because they ran in to look for her. She didn’t go asking about for them. So far when she’s home she hasn’t been doing anything for them or with them. She literally handed them over to Tono like he’s the 24/7 nanny, greets them says her “I love you” and that’s pretty much the standard. There’s more to keeping a family than just giving them affection and paying the bills. Years later Veronica might end up like Neron, realizing that she wasn’t as present in their lives.

I know it’s not easy when the company is sending people out everywhere, but they did hire her knowing she had children. Before being sent on the first trip, the boss asked her if it would be a problem.

At the root of Tono’s discontent I think is also his feeling unappreciated, and possibly taken advantage of? To top it off, Veronica calls him out for being dramatic. She’s not approaching this situation wisely.

Maia

On the other hand reconsidering it all, the Verónica/Toño thing it is almost like turnabout is fair play considering when at the beginning of the novela how hard Veronica worked at her previous job, took care of the house, took care of the kids and Toño sat on his butt and did literally nothing when he was at home after work except to be online planning vacations and spending more money than Veronica wanted to. Then I think about how he tried to manipulate the job onterview to favor him rather than her. Nope, not feeling sorry for him beyond his worries about Sebastián. Maybe this experience will force him to grow up.

Good afternoon, good people! Some fun and funny comments here today.

Diana, “sex pills…since they are made of all natural ingredients”. Oh yes. Of course.
Tippecanoe and Kika, too?

Kirby, I don't know what to make of Mauricio's calm. People are clamoring for a spot in lifeboats, and he is making himself a ham sandwich.? ? ?

Yeah, I just loved it when he turned down Kika's investment. What, exactly, did he plan to use for money in that case?

Oh, well, I watch telenovelas for fun, and this one is really delivering!
:-)
:-)
:-)

Maybe the Tonto \ Vero storyline prompts so many comments because it hits close to home for many people. When our girls were little, I quit my job and took care of the house and kids , so hubba had a full-time job plus he umpired and referreed. We did not see him a lot , and I did not ask him to do much around the house. That worked for us for a couple years. When the girls were older , I worked parttime , and hubba was able to be at home more evenings and weekends. Families have to find out what works best for them. It will be interesting to see if T and V can figure out what works for them.

That 4:00 variety show is on LooneyVision now.

I don't get it. The Gordo sure makes sense, but how do they get Flaca out of cara de caballo? ? ?

was it just me or was that " drool " hanging from Néron's lip when he grabbed the pills and was reading the bottle (before actually taking them)....editors must have over looked that one...g-u-a-c-a-l-a!

pablo and flor tease néron for his clothing but did she borrow that "jumper/dress" from her little sister???

Kirby, That show has been on for 20 years now. She was probably a lot thinner back then.

It's also no doubt a riff on 'El Gordo y El Flaco' which is what the comedy duo of Laurel & Hardy are called in Spanish. I stayed most of a semester in Mexico with a Mexican family when I was a student about a million years ago, and the lady of the house loved the old B&W movies dubbed into Spanish.

Andy, interesting. Yeah, but she has had a horse face for all twenty. She should be in radio.

Hey remember the other day I mentioned that bees don't sting? I walked out this morning and this guy was shivering on the picnic table. I put out a nice warm hand and it crawled on, sat there and warmed up then Bzzzzzzz off to home.

:-)

I sure didn't know the tidbit about Laurel and Hardy. That's cool.

So there's the bee keeper. Now, the bee warmer.

Nice job Kirby.

Diana

Thanks. I will photograph anything won't I? But...it DOES have wings. :-)

Hey. Big Secret. No Bees, No Food.

Bees and humans get along pretty well. A symbiotic relationship
