Papa a Toda Madre, capítulo 38, Friday March 9, 2018; Inquiring minds want to know!

Yesterday’s episode ended with Kika’s monetary investment in Logatoys. It must have been a very large investment as she says “You are not going to get rid of me that easily.” Mau says to her, “Look Kika, I don’t want to make you angry, but what are you doing here?” Kika says, “I want to invest in your business. Just because we ended our relationship, doesn’t mean we can’t be business partners.” Jorge says that the money is already in the bank, but Mau says he doesn’t want it and says goodbye to Kika. He says he feels like a freed condor flying through the air. Kika says the money is there, it was automatically deposited and now she is a full fledged partner with Logatoys. Falcon wants to extend his hand and say “welcome to Logatoys”, but Mau pushes him back. Jorge wants to know if they are still a couple. Mau says NO and Kika says YES.

At the dance club yesterday, Nerón falls to the floor in an apparent heart attack. Flor screams for help and wants a doctor. One guy says he is studying veterinary medicine, but that’s not good enough for Flor. She says he is not a mule or a horse. Another woman says she can do CPR and mouth to mouth, but Flor won’t allow it. She asks for someone to call an ambulance. She cries and asks Nerón not to leave her and Milady.

Renée gets home and she gets a phone call regarding Nerón that he had a heart attack.

Baldo has a heart to heart talk with Samuel and Valentina regarding the talk he had with Jorge while in jail. He seems to be more understanding now about what happened. Baldo asks if anyone knows where Lili is, but no one knows. Seems she is with Pablo over at Nerón and Flor’s place. They talk about learning English and the English words they know, face, ear, mouth. They move in for the kiss and someone knocks at the door!

Lili goes to hide. It’s just Renée coming to tell Pablo that Nerón had a heart attack and is in the hospital. Back inside of the Turrubiates household, Baldo gets up to go to the kitchen. Then Sam looks at Valentina and says, “I wonder which set of kids he will love more?” Valentina just looks at him looking a little confused.

Outside, Veronica says goodbye to her family. She tries to explain the trip won’t be long and tells Toño she won’t be gone long. She tells the children to mind their father and for their father to stop making that long face. Of course Toño looks unhappy and she tries to explain that the business trip is necessary.

At Logatoys, Jorge has Mau look at the contract, but Mau isn’t interested in giving Kika a position at Logatoys. Kika says “no, that isn’t what my contract says now.” So Jorge takes the contract and says that maybe he can make some changes that they will all be happy with. Kika adds that she will be trying to reconquer Mauricio’s love. She mouths a kiss at him, then says, “Bye Georgie boy. Bye Mau tan bello” making that obnoxious fake kissing noise, blowing another kiss. You can tell that Mau is very annoyed and says, “She out of the picture with me. She is not only out the picture, I want her out of my life and my business.” Falcon says, “Look, I don’t want to get into your affairs, but why don’t you want her as a business partner? I think we need her.” Jorge comes in and says, “He has a point. The true is that we are experiencing a big crisis right now. We also owe a lot of money. And our manufacturing machines right now are in ruins.” Falcon asks Mau to make the sacrifice, for the sake of Logatoys. But Mau says, “Didn’t you just tell me that you don’t want to interfere with my love life?” However Falcon just gets up and whispers in Mau’s ear, “Think about it.”
Then Mau looks at Jorge and says, “Ok Georgie boy. Would you mind telling me how Kika was able to get from there to here?” [I think this is the first time Mau got Jorge’s name halfway right.]

Veronica gets in the car and leaves for the airport. Then Renée comes running up to report about Nerón’s heart attack. He wants to go to the hospital but wants to know what to do with the kids. Pablo says maybe leave them all with Rafael because he watching Anifer and Milady right now. Toño is thinking what to do.

Mau and Jorge continue talking about Kika’s part in company. Mau says, “That woman is capable of anything!” Jorge apologizes and says he had no idea that they were no longer together. Mau’s phone rings and it’s Renée calling to report what happened with Nerón. Mau is surprised and as Mau and Jorge talk together, Mau says “nothing is guaranteed in life, no matter how much good you do. Once we are fully matured, we may or may not be healthy and then the end can come.”  Jorge says he doesn’t want to even think about it. One set of kids just lost their mother. His other kids had their mom walk out, so he is all they have. Mau references that Anifer only has him too and that he feels they are both mothers and fathers to their children. But Jorge differs, he says, “Yes, but really no. We are really fathers. Let’s leave it there, we are fathers, men.”

Samuel is outside with his phone and Rodrigo approaches him. Rod says hello and tries to be friendly. But it appears that Samuel does not forgive him for reporting his father to the authorities. Sam pretty much just blows him off and walks away. Then Baldo walks up and says something about all the lies he told for the police that day. Rodrigo says pretty much to forget it all and let bygones be bygones. Rodrigo also tells Baldo that he doesn’t want any more problems with his father.

At the hospital, Renée, Jorge, Mauricio, Pablo, and Toño come to comfort Flor. Toño says that Nerón is as strong as a bull and he is going to be fine. Pablo offers to get Flor a coffee but she turns him down, she is just too worried. Flor goes into his room where the doctor has just examined him. The doctor says he needs to do more tests to find out how to treat Nerón. However, the doctor also tells him that one shouldn’t just be coming to the hospital when they are dying. People need to take care of themselves and prevent diseases.  The doctor walks out and he tells the visitors they can come in now. So the group comes in to greet him. Pretty soon they are giving him the pep talk cheer.

After Renée leaves Nerón’s room, she and Mau talk for a little bit. She thanks him for coming and mentions all the children are with Rafa. She says she has to leave, but Mau invites her to go to the Logatoy factory with him because there is something he needs her to help with.

At Rafa and Rodrigo’s place where they are watching the children, Rafa tells Rod that he wants to have a family of their own.

At the factory, Renée takes a look at the machine that controls the assembly and say that it needs to be disassembled. Mau says he hasn’t gotten the official report yet on the status of the machine. Renée says, “So when are they going to give you the report?” They start looking at each other and Renée starts making comments like, “Why are you looking at me this way?” They banter back and forth and he hands her a box of tools. “Now don’t watch me.” Says Renée. “Okay, I won’t watch you,” says Mau.

At the Barrientos house, Toño is receiving text messages from Yolanda. He seems amused.

After Renée takes a look at the machine, she says that it appears that somebody programmed the machine to fail. Mau wants to know, “Well who would do a thing like that? Do you think it was her?” But Renée doesn’t think so because she and Mau were in Miami at the time and were together. Mau says, “Yes but we were not getting along well and that was your fault.” “Now how was that my fault?” says Renée. They start arguing a little and he tells her to be quiet because he is going to explain. “No matter what happens to this company, I am never going to be able to take my eyes off of you.” Renée looks surprised and says, “What? I just don’t know what to say.” Then Mau says, “It’s about you and the butterflies I am feeling right now. Right now I can’t think of anything else and I feel I have butterflies in my stomach every time I looks at you. In fact they feel not just like butterflies but they are Boeing 747 flying inside of me.” Renée looks at him and says, “But this is so corny.” Mau looks at her and then says, “Now I’ve served you the ball, it is now in your court.” But finally, Renée admits that she feels something for Mau. He asks, “So it this feeling big or small or venti?” [I am not sure what by saying venti, please help me out. I have a feeling it is referring to the 20 oz Starbucks coffee size. But please confirm this.] Mau is trying to get her to say, but then she courageously moves in for the kiss!

I don’t know how, but rose pedals seem to be falling on them. She looks around as the rose pedal are falling and says “this is corny!” Mau agrees and he kisses her back while the rose pedals continue to fall all over them.

At the Turrubiates home, Lili brings up doing a good deed for Pablo, the young man who works doing chores at their gated community. She wants to know if Jorge can intercede and help him work at the school. Valentina wants to know why Lili is so interested in that “morrillo”, referring to Pablo in kind of reductionist way. A “morrillo” is literally a small rock. Val goes on to comment, “Are you interested in that guy who maintains the grounds here?” Lili says she is not, but she is trying to do a good thing for him, just like what their father says to do. “Give them work, don’t give things for free.” Jorge is pleased with Lili’s actions and asks Val why she has to be so disagreeable and suspicious. Then he tells Lili, “I can’t promise anything, but I’ll do what I can. Let’s sit down to dinner now.”

As Renée and Mau are still kissing under the falling rose pedals, she suddenly pulls away and says, “Move over there.” He just looks at her and says, “Don’t tell me you think this is a mistake again.”  Renée says, “No, this could change into something else, bigger than the venti.” Mau does not understand, but Renée explains that he needs to look at things from her perspective. He’s been a ladies man the truth is, very few people take him seriously. “You just came out from being engaged and it’s only been 24 hours since you broke up with Kika. Oh that Kika, she is so burdensome, I just don’t like her at all. Anyway, after all that, now you are saying that you feel something for me?” Mau says he isn’t the same man he used to be. Renée agree he has changed but he has changed into a good father. “But” says Renée, it’s more important right now to find out who interfered with this machines.

At the Barrientos home, Toño listens to his kids play. He looks lonely and bored and looks at his phone. Yolanda keeps texting him and he keeps texting back. He tells her that no one respects him at home and that he is only a “mandilón” [a man who lets his wife boss him around]. Yolanda builds his ego by saying, “You are not a mandilón. You are a super father!” Yes, she is definitely making him feel good about himself—something that Veronica is not doing right now. The kids start yelling and fighting so he stops the texting to see about the kids.

At the hospital, Nerón wakes up to find Flor by his side and he is very happy. They talk a little and he confesses he is afraid that she is going to leave him for someone younger. Flor assures him she is never going to leave him for anyone. He is also afraid that Milady will forget him. Flor suggests that he spend more time at home with her.

Mau and Renée get home, they thank Rafa and Rod for taking care of Anifer. When they are alone, they keep looking at each other, saying, ‘What?” “Who me?” As they are making small talk and laughing, Anifer says, “Hey, what about me? Hello! I’m here too!” Renée says she is going to change Milady’s diaper and runs over to her. Anifer says, “I don’t use diapers. I think about things that are much more intelligent.” As Renée changes the diaper, Mau excuses himself to go make a sandwich.

Later that evening, Toño keeps getting texts from Yolanda. Then Veronica texts him and explains she has a low battery on her phone. Between the two women, he sends the wrong “ha, ha, ha” to Veronica instead of Yolanda. Another message comes from Veronica saying that she wants to make up to him the celebration that they should have had.

Rafa is checking out information on surrogate mothers online. He tells Rod he wants to have a biological child.

Mau can’t sleep and it’s 3:20 a.m. So he gets up and goes to Ani’s room. He finds her uncovered so he covers her up. He sees Renée too uncovered and he covers her too. Ani wakes up and wants to know what he is doing looking at Renée. Then Mau starts telling Ani about how he wonders what it would have been like to have her around when she was a baby.

At Logatoys, Kika is going to spend money on redecorating. Jorge doesn’t think it’s a good idea to spend unnecessary funds on superfluous things. But Kika has her architect and he decorator ready to go.

At breakfast, Renée tells Mau she has plans for the day, will take little Milady with her and leave Anifer with Mau. But Mau doesn’t think he can take care of her alone, not in the condition she is in with the injuries and casts. Renée tells him he should get used to it. But first, she has some questions for him. “Who would have provoked that accident at the factory?” Mau has no idea yet. “Next!” Then Renée asks what is going on with the documents he promised regarding her Master’s program. Looks like Mau doesn’t know what to say.

Sorry, I didn't get to put up screen shots. I'll get them up sometime on Saturday evening.

Thank you, Cynthia. Your fabulous recap was a wonderful way to start the day!

Eventhough I don’t do Starbuck’s much, I agree that that is what the “Venti” was referring to.

I loved the rose petals falling out of nowhere and the characters commenting on them.

No surprise about Nerón ending up in the hospital.

I was hoping Toño would make a fatal mistake with the texts with Yola and Verónica but he was too good.

So, Renée snores.

Thanks a bunch Cynthia. Great recap of a fun episode. Them looking around like WTF? when those rose petals started falling was too funny. Like the fire sprinklers triggered, but spraying rose petals on that hot spot rather than water.

The second one was when Renee started snoring and Anifer looked at Mau like "Welcome to MY world." Anifer is a pretty good little actress, and can be funn-knee when she wants to be. And if they think they are sneaking anything past Anifer, think again luuuuurve birds. She has your number.

Tono better watch it. Sweet, lonely HOT Yolo has a little hint of stalker swirling around her. Careful.

Veronica is beautiful, and I like her looks just as well as a blonde. But that little red dress showed her little spindly bird legs. Nice, but like a couple of drinking straws. Odd shoes too. Like open toe black velvet heels, but kinda boot-looking...I probably just need a different TV.

So Val showed her snotty side too, huh? So now is it alright to call her a beaner?

Does Flor realize that among her neighbors at the hospital she looks like a Peurto Rican hooker?

Can't wait to see Rafael Preggers.

It seems like Kika drops out these Spanglish words or expressions also. Will Mau now remember Jarod's name?

Thank you, Cynthia.

"I think this is the first time Mau got Jorge’s name halfway right" - was it by accident?

When Nerón passed out and Flor asked for a doctor, the guy offered to help and said he was studying veterinary medicine. The Flor rejected his services saying Nerón was not a horse or a mule.

"They talk about learning English" - English was just a facilitator for their romantic play. I doubt those two will manage to learn English or Math from each other. Kissing will interfere.

Valentina is starting to feel jealousy. I think she feels that the new kids came in and took what little attention she had from her father. And she is right. But picking a fight with Lili is not going to make things better. Lili is older and more savvy. That table scene showed that Lili managed to turn Val's comment around against her.

Kirby, yes, all that sizzle and steam of Renée and Mau's kiss triggered the rose petal sprinkler.

Screen shots are up! Enjoy! I got so tired last night, it was 1:00 a.m. when I finally quit and posted the recap without screenshot.

Thanks Lucio on explaining what Flor actually said. Sometimes the dialogue goes so quickly and I fail to pick up on little things that really mean a lot. Flor's character talks way too fast for me so I end up losing a few things in the process. So I made an edit in the recap to show that he said veterinary medicine, not just medicine.

I don't know what happened to the formatting on this blog at the end. It seems to want to do plain text instead of the Times New Roman that I used in the rest of the recap.

Cynthia, thanks for a great recap! I did watch last night, but I made the mistake of doing a few things on the computer "during commercials." Naturally I missed a few things and your recap made me aware of them! So I went to the DVR to check out the rose petals scene. That bit about the rose petals being corny was just great!

Yep, Renee snores. But, according to Anifer, so does Mauricio. Tied score.

Kirby, "Does Flor realize that among her neighbors at the hospital she looks like a Peurto Rican hooker?" A really hot hooker! But no big hoop earrings? Actually, I thought she looked really nice, and she had been out dancing, after all.

And what the heck does "Papi Rongo" mean?

I laughed when I saw Rafael looking at a web page about "vientre en alquiler". Hoo, boy!

KJ, "Can't wait to see Rafael Preggers." I'm sure Steve will give us a heads-up.

Thank you so much , Cynthia, for that excellent recap and screen caps. That kiss !!! Were the falling rose petals supposed to be real or in the lovers' imaginations?

I thought that the scene of Pablo's English lesson from Lily was very sexy and romantic. Having taught ESL , one tries not to make it so in the classroom. More like you say the word loudly and clearly, tell them to repeat it , say it again, etc. ....all business.

Flor may dress like a hoochie mama , but you should not judge a book by its cover. She seems to really love Neuron. ..who looked so old and defeated in that hospital bed. Poor guy.

Thanks, Cynthia. Great recap and screenshots.

Neron is passed out on the dance floor, but Flor is very picky about who she lets come to his aid. No veterinarian in training and no pretty woman, please. Neron would be proud to know Flor was too jealous to let another woman give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

I miss Fabian.

Re...CPR..I have been watching reruns of THe Office , and there was an episode in which the office staff is getting instructions on giving CPR by using the beat of "STaying ALive."

niecie, I agree. Flor was not starting to give Neuron CPR, so she should have been quick and grateful to accept help from anyone who could start CPR immediately.

Andy, I heard Flor say "Papi Rongo" but I have no idea what she means or if it is just some kind of affectionate term. I can't understand half of what she says most of the time. She talks way too fast for me. Even when I'm watching with the Spanish subtitles, I still miss a lot. And Kirby, yes Flor does dress quite provocatively doesn't she?

Niecie: Flor makes no sense turning down anyone who can do some first aid. Doesn't matter if it is a veterinarian or a pretty woman. Saving a life is saving a life. I'd let Bozo the clown do CPR on my husband if he knew what he was doing.

Cynthia, Flor has been calling Nerón "Papi Rongo" for quite a while. I'm pretty sure she means it affectionately, but I do wonder if it means anything in particular.

And if you understand anywhere around half of what Flor says you are doing 10x better than me. She's really cute and her facial expression(s) when she's mad at Nerón are priceless, whatever she's saying, so I just let it go, happy with the visuals.

Susanlynn, I think the rose petals were both a romantic fantasy and a TN joke. The joke part is when Mau and Renee agreed that the petals were corny. Sort of like breaking the fourth wall and talking to the audience about the show itself, though they never looked into the camera... just to confuse the issue, I think.

Please take this opinion with a grain of salt. My analysis of TN oddities is about as good as my comprehension of fast spoken Spanish, or my TN predictions (0% so far).

:-)

I actually like the corny funny stuff, like their comments to the fourth wall or whatever it was with the rose petals. I thought it was pepperonis at first. I liked the smiley face bubbles and their popping sound too when Yolandinmybed was texting TonoIwont.

And don't get me wrong about Flor. If I ruled the universe, girls with legs like hers would not be allowed to wear pants, but with Old Boy, going out like that will do more harm than good even if she DOESN'T get him in a fight.

"predictions (0% so far)."
Andy you're doing great. Find something you do reliably and stick with it.

:-)

Race weekend.

TonoIwont...ha...and I hopeo he won't because it would just make a bad situation worse. Tonto and Veering have to take some time to figure out what is happening and how to make their situation better....and it's not by turning to other people.

I like the way the neighbors help each other. Someone watched the kids so that others could visit Neuron.

Excellent recap Cynthia. The screen shots were great.

I fell asleep and missed most of this and was sorry to have missed the blossoming romance.

I am very worried about Samuel. Not only for the obvious obsession with hurting himself to "prove" himself but "Sam looks at Valentina and says, “I wonder which set of kids he will love more?" Just sad.

Perhaps Mau's newfound sensitivity and caring might rub off on Jorge. We can only hope.

I like the fact Renee snores. Everything about her says real and refreshing...

With early all day meetings coming up and a huge swowstorm predicted, I will try and catch up when I can. I wish everyone a safe and happy week.

Kirby, did you race??

Cynthia, you are always so generous with your time - thank you!

Diana

Diana, No I didn't Race. I wish. But I'd hate to maybe have to tell someone I wrecked their Half million dollar car.

And it didn't SNOW........................

Sorry I have been AWOL. This race thing goes Fri, Sat and Sunday.

Indy cars are cool.

We used to go to stock races. I hated them..so loud.

Diana...oh no ...is more snow predicted ?

Hub and I also went years ago. I enjoyed them a lot.

Yup Susanlynn, another foot predicted starting Monday night and all day Tuesday.Basta. Sigh...

Diana

Diana...so sorry that winter will not let up for you. Take care.

Greetings all. Good to be back home. Every time I fly American the plane is anywhere from one hour to four hours late. Mechanical difficulties. Overloading with too much gas. etc. etc. etc. But got there and back safely.

Diana, hoping the snow is bad enough that you can work from home. Or that there is no snow at all. Whatever works best for you.

Kirby, glad you were watching the race and not in it. Used to love the Indy 500 and absolutely LOVED the overwhelming noise. Ditto for the overwhelming noise in the Schools of Samba during Carnival time in Rio. And now I have to wear hearing aids! Thankfully my grandchildren always wear ear protectors when they go to stock car races with their other grandparents.

#closedcaptionsessential

Hi, Judy...glad that you are back and safe and sound!! I hate airports and hate to fly . it gets to be more and more of a pain.

The only reason I went to those races was because I was dating Hub and he liked them;-)

Good Evening, Patio Pals! Welcome back, JudyB; glad you made it back safely...you were missed! Kirby, sounds like you had one awesome week-end! I'm yellous! Diana, so sorry about the long meetings and more snow??? Sheesh...we were in the 90s yesterday....and today too until the cold front came in late in the afternoon. Sorry I've been AWOL too. Busy, hectic week-end with technical issues, unexpected visitors...and...Susy and Diana, sit down dears, 9 additions to the tribe!

Now back to business...Cynthia, thank you for your most excellent recap and screenshots; you are a master at this!

I agree about the romantic scene with the rose petals, it was a nice treat. Kirby, pepperonis?? Were you craving pizza at the time? j/k

Susy, the English lesson was quite romantic, but every time I see Lili I think of Medusa and expect her hair to slowing come up snake style and her eyes to turn fiery red. Y'all remember Luisa from Doble Vida...HA!

Diana, Samuel's situation is a worrisome one. He was already having issues before the twins arrived and now he is even worse. How sad and pitiful that Jorge is clueless about his kids. He should take the director's advice and implement it with each of his kids. He knows nothing about them. Lucio, ITA agree with your comment about Valentina; I hopeo she doesn't go back to being secretive and doing things behind Jorge's back.

I was very disappointed in Flor when she turned down the CPR help...where are her priorities...and her luuurve for Neron?

Andy, "Papi Rongo" would probably translate to "Big Daddy" or "Daddy Boy." I actually thought she was saying "Papi-Longo"...and I'll probably get detention for the rest of the TN if I told you what I think that means LOL

Now about Renee snoring...didn't Anifer tell Mauricio that Renee didn't snore way back when he first insinuated that Renee snored. I think I remember that being the case...oh well, que sera, sera!

Good night, All!

Wow , Chickie...9 new kids!!! 9 new names...How many girls and how many bogs? Papi Rongo? Flor? Jimmy\Jorge? Maurrrricio? Kika? Tono? Rodigo? Rafael? Fabian?

Yawn...well, good morning all, and I hopeo that you all remembered to turn your c!ocks ahead and are not late for anything !!!!

Love Susanlynn's name suggestions for your new crop of kids, Rgv Chick. On the resuscitation scene, thought the jealousy was funny, but then I knew Neron wasn't really dying. However I wish they would stop showing mouth to mouth as being necessary. It's not. What they teach nowadays is strictly chest compressions and it;s harder than you think to get a deep enough compression to stimulate the heart. A few minutes of that and you're exhausted. Takes two or more people trading off until a defrillilator arrives..

Oh and does anybody else think Rodrigo is waaaaay hotter than Mauricio? I like Mau, he's beautiful, don't get me wrong. But Rodrigo in that short sleeved t-shirt last night. Oh my goodness. Muscle tone is soooo nice.

Judy, so happy you are back! So much more like "home" when we have your always witty comments and pearls of wisdom amiga.

Rodrigo = hawt. Very! I liked the actor in Vino but his character was appealing one minute, not the next. Beautiful eyes and certainly easy on ours Here, he sizzles...

RgvChick, rolling out the welcome mat for your nine new little ones! Your family is growing all the time. I so admire your seemingly endless energy and kind nature.

Susanlynn et all, now the predictions are 22 inches where I live so it's likely a safe bet I will be working from home tomorrow (if we have power).

Ahhhh, Spring. Please hurry!

Diana

22 inches! This is the Apocalypse. Praying you have power and lots of cozy heat as you work from home. And that the guy shows up to shovel your driveway. Mind boggling though.

RgvChick, nine new kids. Wow! That is all I can say. : )

Diana, stay toasty warm and safe. 22 inches is just miserable.

JudyB, glad you got home safely. Flying has turned into a royal pain these days. .

That “English” lesson had me laughing more than anything else.

Jarifa the Spanglish lesson only had to do with body parts, can anybody predict where that is going, or do I just have a dirty mind?

RGV herder, I have been keeping a mental count since you arrived on the patio. And I think you now have forty eleven goats! If you are still hand picking fresh grass from the generous neighbor you may be busy. :-)

Susy I love flying. I just don't like being around people. Especially where neither of us are going anywhere for a while.

Twenty two inches? We don't even get 22 inches of sunshine here. Yikes.

There is a pizza commercial around here where first rose petals are falling which change into pepperonis. Their byline is something like 'Some people use rose petals to show their luuuurve, we use pepperoni, and we put double on your pizza." So at first I thought that was going to be a product placement in PAPA.

So glad to be home and not ?living? on carnival food. Aurrgh. Hamburger and a soda $17. loco

Kirby...stay away from the Disney Ice Shows ($14 for a cup of !lemonade) and Disney World (take out a home equity loan if you want three meals a day).

Judy , I am raising my hand for Rodrigo. I was a fan of this actor when be was in Vino , but most people hated the character be played ( Miguel). I was looking at a photo of my dad when be was about 33, and there is a resemblance.

Diana, so sorry that more snow is headed your way. We got less than they predicted last week. Some is predicted for tonight. Ugh ..To quote ALbert Camus "Snow, that leprosy of nature."

Susy. YES. I do not live far from those criminals. They even think they own the air above them and have flight restrictions over Disney. If you have your own (or the company's) plane you have to go around them. You can't just fly straight from Orlando to Tampa. If you have enough money you can even get the FAA on your side.

And Mouse Power lines. Hate them. They gave us Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, and a string of other sub humans too.

JudyB, Diana, Susanlynn - Oh yeah, Rodrigo is hawt. I was so psyched when I thought he'd be Mauricio's competition.

Rgv Chick, I'm a city girl and simply can't imagine all your brood together, but I know it = ginormous adorable.

Diana, Unbelievable the snow you're expecting. I hope you stay warm and cozy and don't have to go out in it.

Susanlynn...your dad must have been a doll. Like mine was. Evidently, as a 3-year-old, I used to take people aside and say “See that handsome man over there. That’s my daddy.” JudyB

Judy..yes , he was a goodlooking hombre.

JudyB, yes, Rodrigo is quite hawt!! This is the third TN I've seen him in and I really think the guy deserves much better roles. Everyone remembers him from Vino; I also saw him in Mi Adorable Maldicion where he portrayed a jigolo/con artist-type.

Diana and Niecie...I LUUURVE my tribe and they are truly adorable!! Thanks :-) Diana, 22 inches??? Wow, I'm prayin' for you!

Susy, since you asked...

Bobbi Jo: 2 boys--Pierre and Pedro
Jackie: 1 girl -Jenna
Dolly: 2 boys; 1 girl -Roddy, Raffy, and Renee
White Paw: Anifer, Anahi and Anabelle

Kirby, right now I have 37, but I have sold 10 since I started on the patio. I stopped cutting grass from the neighbor's field...I got his permission to let my goats go over there :-)

Thanks for your kind words all.

I am not expecting to leave home tomorrow if it is as bad as predicted. And yes Judy, if the plow guy doesn't show up, I'm in til srping :)

Kirby, your avatar shouldn't be a surprise...and yet...

Diana

Niecie....yeah...no...not Maury's competition in this one. Maybe next time. It seems that actors today are quite comfortable playing both straight and gay roles.

RgvChick, love the names (Anifer, Anahi and Raffy especially).

I wish all your kidz health and a good, happy life. So nice your neighbor lets them graze. Nice to know kindness still exists.

Diana

"OK, boys and girls, go over there and eat. But I want every last one of you KIDS home by 4:30, Got it? And if you need to go, you come home to do that.. Bye"

And I'm complaining about my 'kids' who insist on 'Unleaded Premium'. Count my blessings.

:-)

Uh oh...snow flurries already.

Snow Furries?

Hey I noticed that on Despierta America today, with temps in the seventies, that dam snow could be seen still falling outside, through their TV screen 'Windows'.
