Or When Plots Twists Aren't Really Plot "Twists"

Tono confesses that Yolanda kissed him on the lips, much to Veronica’s surprise, and Veronica can’t believe she did such a thing. Tono tries to defend himself, saying that the kiss was small and meant nothing, but Veronica is furious. She can’t believe he kissed someone else and talks about honesty. Tono shrugs and reiterates that it’s not his fault, as Yolanda fell in love with him (because he’s so full of charm) but Veronica doesn’t want to see him right now or be touched by him. She demands he leave her alone and Tono runs upstairs, after chiding himself for confessing anything in the first place.

Flor cleans the house and calls Neron to tell him her plans with Renee that night and the fact that Rafael ill take care of Milady. Neron prefers to close the shop and go take care of Milady but Flor asks him not to worry. She does notice that he sounds tired but Neron tells her it’s nothing and asks her to come home early. She promises and hangs up.

Neron hangs up too but Pablo notices he looks tired as well. Neron admits he is tired and Pablo offers to him help move some tires. Pablo then asks him how things went at the doctor and Neron confesses that it didn’t go well but he shouldn’t say anything to Flor. He then reveals that he’s worried about leaving Flor and Milady alone but their conversation is interrupted by Jorge, who storms in demanding to talk to Pablo.

Renee and Flor, all dressed up, leave their houses and walk to the bus stop. Veronica runs out of her house and stops them because, even though she’s not okay, she wants to celebrate with Renee. Renee smiles and Veronica offers her truck so they can go to their celebration comfortably. They all pile into the truck and cheer.

Mauricio and Fabian are stilling following Falcon but lose when the car in front of them stops in the middle of the street to help out a woman. Mauricio runs out to see where Falcon went as Fabian honks and screams for the car to move. The owner of the car runs over to Fabian, who rolls up his window quickly as the man was taller and meaner than he imagined.

Mauricio loses sight of Falcon and calls Fabian to tell him he will follow Palacios, who has entered a building. Fabian is busy, however, as the man he called an idiot is shaking the car violently so he can get out of the car. The man’s wife tries to stop him as Fabian tries to reason with the man.

Jorge advises Pablo to stay away from Lili but Pablo refuses to do so. Jorge reminds him that Lili is a teenager, who is only with him to rebel against Jorge’s authority, but Pablo doesn’t believe him. Either way, Jorge won’t allow Lili to be with such a poor boy, without a career or future, and Neron chides Jorge for being so cruel. He asks Jorge to let the kids be together if they want but Jorge threatens to deport Pablo if he gets close to Lili again and storms off. Neron can’t believe Jorge could be so classist but Pablo doesn’t care, as he’s sure of Lili’s love. Neron thinks Jorge is just as bad as Dulce right now but Pablo has taken Jorge’s words as a sign that he needs to hurry up and save so he can Lili can be together in the US. He goes back to work, as Neron looks on, dejected.

Mauricio follows Palacios around the back entrance of the building and gets angry because Fabian hasn’t arrived yet with backup.

The girls arrive at the club and Flor shows them the table she reserved. Veronica and Renee admit that they have never been to a club but Flor tells them to let loose and have fun. She then tells him that they are some cute guys she wants to introduce them to, which she met through her old job, though she never dated any of them because they’re too young and muscular. Veronica and Renee look at each other, knowingly, and Flor reiterates that they need to have fun, no matter what. They finally agree and laugh as it’s revealed that they came to a (strip) club.

Fabian finally arrives and Mauricio chides him for taking so long. Fabian promises to explain later and then they follow Palacios to wherever he went because they will make him talk, or else. Fabian thinks he’s being ridiculous but Mauricio runs off with Fabian in tow.

The announcer tells the women to get ready, as the show is about to start, and everyone gets excited. Backstage, Palacios says his prayers and walks onstage as Mauricio and Fabian arrive. Mauricio follows Palacios but Fabian just looks exasperated by the whole thing. Suddenly, they arrive onstage, as Palacios takes his clothes off. They realize their mistake, try to get offstage, but the guard motions for them to get onstage. Fabian and Mauricio seem more than happy to start taking off their clothes, among the cheers of the crow d of women, and are even happy to accept tips. They follow suit with Palacios and take off everything but their underwear.

At the girl’s table, Renee is shocked to see Mauricio onstage. She tries to get a closer look but Flor pulls her back into her chair so they can comfort Veronica, who is crying about Tono’s infidelity. Renee and Flor are both shocked to hear about the kiss. The boys continue to dance as Palacios gets off stage but Fabian and Mauricio shrug as they continue to dance.

Later, Flor suggests Veronica forget about Tono for the moment and ask him what really happened later but Veronica doesn’t want to see him every again. After a moment, Renee asks Flor how she can be with a stripper, alone, and she smiles because Renee seemed innocent but is super frisky. Flor then asks Renee if she has money, or if she needs some, and Renee looks confused and surprised.

Kika hides outside of the cul-de-sac and behind a bush to see if there are any children around lest they tar and feather her again. She’s surprised by Valentina, who offers to help her, and Kika explains that she lost her US passport and thinks she left it at her house when she changed. Valentina offers to take her but Kika is scared and Valentina promises to take care of her as they walk to her house.

As Fabian continues to dance onstage, a security guard grabs Mauricio and drags him to the back of the club. Mauricio thinks he has been discovered but the guard explains that someone paid him for a private dance and he must go. Mauricio wonders how much they paid but the guard demands he go inside the private room. Mauricio obliges and finds Renee waiting for him. She can’t keep her eyes off him and caches herself after a moment. Mauricio is shocked and Renee is also shocked to see him stripping and wonders what he’s doing there. Mauricio explains that he’s dancing and shakes his butt but Renee demands he stop. Mauricio thinks she’s interested in him, and recognized him onstage, but Renee shakes her head. Mauricio tries to get close but Renee screams and asks him to stay behind the stripper pole. Mauricio obliges and Renee smiles slightly.

Kika and Valentina look around for her passport but can’t find it. Kika tries to get Baldo and Samuel to help but has no luck. Kika begs her Kika God for help and Valentina offers to take her to he room to see if the passport is there. Kika thanks her and follows her upstairs.

Mauricio explains that he was following a board member and ended up at the club but Renee thinks that is ridiculous. Mauricio then asks why she’s there and Renee explains that she’s celebrating the fact that she passed her final. Mauricio chides her for not telling him and he begins to dance again but Renee asks him to stop as she’s still very angry with him. Mauricio stops for a second and confesses that she makes him want to be a better person though Renee seems doubtful and then goes off to find Palacios, after one last booty shake. Once alone, Renee sighs but continues to smiles.

Tono cleans up the table after dinner and asks the kids for help. Tania walks over and tells him that Rola’s food doesn’t seem to be sitting well with her and Tono explains that he asked Rafael to come over to help. Just then, Rafael arrives with the right dog food and Tono and the kids thank him for everything. Rafael then explains the benefits of the dog food he brought and the children listen attentively.

Mauricio arrives at the locker room as Palacios gets dressed. Palacios tries to get away but Mauricio stops him and demands he tell him who he is. Palacios confessed that he’s an actor, who was hired to pretend to be a board member, as Fabian arrives, full of money, and Palacios is able to get away while Mauricio’s distracted. Mauricio shrugs then and he and Fabian compare how much they won.

Neron closes the metal door to the shop but groans when he feels a pain in his side. Pablo helps him sit down and tells him to go to the doctor again but Neron shakes his head. Pablo then suggests he stay in the shop, as Jorge’s threats worry him, but Neron assures him Jorge is all bark and no bite. Pablo is unsure and then Neron chides him for not telling him about his relationship with Lili. Pablo apologizes and Neron admits that Lili is from another world than they are and he must consider their differences. Pablo doesn’t think there is any way he could leave Lili now.

As Valentina looks around her room for Kika’s passport, she asks Kika for some fashion tips. Kika smiles and tells her that she must look for the best makeup that suits her but thinks she would look good with anything as she’s very pretty. Valentina smiles and thanks her and then asks if she hates Mauricio as much as she said in her previous videos. Kika sits her down and explains her side of the story, namely, the fact that Mauricio left such a beautiful monument like she is. Valentina nods and Kika tells her that it’s all in the past now; Valentina wishes her parents could help bring each other closure but it hasn’t happened yet. Kika looks slightly less interested.

In Tania’s room, the children begin to fight over something or other as Tono keeps calling Veronica to no avail. He hangs up and screams at the children to pick up the mess they’ve made, now! The children apologize and Tono tells them that he will clean up as they watch TV. They go and Ernesto asks him not to get angry, as only losers get angry, and Tono tries to kick him out as he considers how fractured his marriage has become.

Renee comes back to the table and talks to her friends about how hot the stripers were. Veronica and Flor then ask Renee about her private dance but Renee only smiles and tells them that it’s her business. She then remembers Mauricio in his underwear and frowns, because she knows she’s fallen for him, and Veronica then asks her about Mauricio. Flor also wants to know more details but Renee assures them that nothing is going to happen between them. The girls don’t believe her and Renee tries to change the conversation to Veronica’s new job. Veronica tells them that they offered her a new position and raise in Texas but Tono is against it. Flor tells them that men are so hard to figure out and her friends agree. After a moment, Veronica toasts to Renee and smiles. Renee then reveals that she’s looking for a job and trying to sell her house to Rodrigo and Rafael so she can go do her master’s program in the US. Veronica thought Logatoys was going to help her and Renee sighs.

In Mauricio’s office, Mauricio tells Jorge about what he found out about Palacios and urges him to investigate the whole board. Mauricio is sure they sold his toy idea but Jorge explains that he did some research and the Chinese company only copied their design but they have all the original patents, so they can reproduce the toy without any trouble. Fabian can’t believe Falcon and his cohorts could do such a thing and walks out to find out more about them. Mauricio then asks “Geronimo” when they can start to produce the toy and Jorge is annoyed but then confesses that Fabian told him, personally, that he had investigated Falcon and he came up clean. Mauricio thinks they sold Fabian the same lie they sold him and Jorge nods.

At the shop, Pablo and Lili meet in secret and Pablo tells her what happened with Jorge. He asks if she’s only with him to piss off Jorge and Lili explains that it started like that but she now loves, she proved her love during their love making session. Pablo smiles and Lili proposes they have sex again to prove their love. Pablo is more than happy to do it but is worried that Jorge will make good on his threats. Lili assures him that the worse has passed and, should Jorge do anything against him, she will never forgive him. She then kisses him but Pablo’s eyes grow big and he tells her that he doesn’t have a condom. She considers this and tells him that it doesn’t matter as they can have unprotected sex one time and nothing will happen (Oh boy! We all know where this is going!). Pablo leads Lili inside and closes the shop’s front door.

Veronica arrives home and hugs her children as Tono demands to know where she was as she didn’t answer her phone. Veronica reveals that she was in a place full of hot, beautiful men but Tono begs her not to kid around. Veronica explains that she went to a strip club with Renee and Flor but Tono thinks her friends are bad influences. He then asks if she forgave him for the kiss but Veronica doesn’t want to talk about it right now. She then asks Ernesto if he did his homework but Ernesto only did a little bit of it because he has to bring a project tomorrow. Tono chides him for not telling him about the project sooner but Veronica chides Tono for not asking Ernesto sooner; she assumes he was too busy thinking about his kiss with Yolanda. Tono is quiet and then tries to go to the kitchen but Veronica demands he go get the paints for Ernesto’s project, now.

At Mauricio’s, Renee helps Anifer with her homework as Mauricio arrives and cheerfully tells her hello. She is less than excited and he asks if she wants dinner but Anifer tells him that she ate and prefers to go to sleep. He nods and she goes off. Mauricio then asks Renee what happened, as he thought he was okay with Anifer, but Renee assumes she misses her mother and needs time. Renee then hopes Mauricio solved his problems and goes to leave but he stops her because he wants to talk. She offers to sit down with him in the living room and confesses that he resolved nothing and Logatoys is worse off than before. Renee empathizes with his situation as Mauricio sighs.

Sometime later, Kika has put a full face of makeup on Valentina, who promises to repeat her steps as instructed, as Jorge arrives and sees her. He surprised to find Kika there and chides Valentina for wearing so much makeup at such a young age. Valentina looks sad and Kika tells Jorge that she looks beautiful and has the perfect age to put on makeup. Jorge reiterates that she’s too young but Kika suggests he let Valentina put on makeup if she wants. Jorge, now furious, tells Kika not to say anything about how he educates his daughter before asking what she is doing in his house.

Renee confesses that what has happened at Logatoys is so strange and Mauricio explains that, even though Fabian is in his corner, he feels so lonely. He then asks Renee if she’s ever felt lonely (and I swear you could hear the whole Earth groan from how big Mauricio’s head is). Renee redirects the conversation by stating that she followed Fabian the other day outside of Logatoys and saw him fighting with Falcon though she didn’t know what about. Mauricio asks why she was spying on Fabian and Renee tries to explain when Mauricio smiles because he loves that she tried to explain the situation when she sees he’s jealous. Renee prefers to leave but Mauricio begs her to stay so he can tell her what he feels for her. Renee starts to say how she doesn’t want to hear it and Mauricio starts to say that he must say what he feels and they talk over each other until Renee suggests he shut her up. Mauricio is more than happy to oblige, with a kiss (!), a kiss to end all kisses, full of love and passion, and bright, sparkling lights.


Falcon assures his boss on the phone that everything will go according to plan and then hangs up as Fabian arrives and gets into the car with him. Once they are alone, Fabian demands to know who hired a stripper to be a board member and Falcon confesses it was his fault. Fabian chides Falcon for being so stupid, especially because Mauricio has become increasingly suspicious of his actions, and warns him that Mauricio better not find out that the true mastermind behind everything is Fabian himself!
