If I was recappin This episode, I'd
Name it "Two drunk bitches, and the
Tango of love". But I have no idea what they were saying, except Elena seems to think she's unforgettable.
And Ricky and ale Havin the time of
Their lives. They better enjoy it cuz here comes trouble.

And the lawyers, what can I say about the lawyers? They seem to know
What They're doing. They'll win the case, Get Carlos out and then the fun will Start. O-joy.

I really would like to know what the
Twisted sisters were talkin about.

Y'all have a happy safe holiday,And
Don't eat to many eggs.

Me too NiNa.
But I'll guarantee one of them said Ale has thunder thighs
And the other one said she can outfunk Ale any night.

The lawyers? Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum with their Tractor Supply rubber gloves doing the Forensics? :-)

Hoppy Easter Patio

I think Leticia may be getting tired of hearing Elena rant about wanting Ricardo back. She was trying to convince her to find "someone better" and it looked like she was rolling her eyes (or wanted to) when Elena said no to that.

Elena also said that "If I'm not happy, Ricardo can't be happy." Now, where have we heard that before?

Leo and Rob should come to the conclusion that because there are no cameras in the areas they are looking at that the exit video happened because someone set Carlos up to take the fall for the murder of the prostitute.

Urban, thanks for the space.

I remember DZ on the Mexican version of Dancing With the Stars. He didn't win, his dancing was more athletic than smoove, but he had a great attitude. Nice to see Ric and Ale kicking up their heels together. For sure, Carlos is about to get sprung to spoil their party.

Gustavo's got some nerve asking his wife's lawyer -- now Ale, since unlike the rest of the firm she isn't friends with the couple -- to ask her to take him back. Ale put him down very professionally. She works in the interest of her client's wishes. Punto.

Gee, the firm doesn't have funds for a private eye? Perry Mason would've never made it without P.I. Paul Drake.

Benjamin's meeting with Alsonso got testy. Benjamin asked for more (to make partner?) and Alonso nixed this.

Happy Easter and Passover!

Have any of these Einsteins asked who else had access to the room? Hotel rooms have big heavy doors with pretty reliable locks and usually windows which do not even open. There is a very small group of people who could have gotten into the room. (We are assuming it was not Mr. 'Practicing for my Wedding Night') Or who could have let someone else in by leaving the door ajar, etc.

There seems to be a common trait in hotels and it is a given in medium to high end places that you would save time getting into a room gnawing a hole through the wall rather than overcoming the door/lock to gain unwelcome entry.

Nina--You covered the important activity with such succinct labels. It's all we need to know what happened last night.

Wish I had time to cover Benji's ridiculous conversation with Alonso. For once I thought I saw his bluster reduced to a spring breeze. Alonso gave him the red light on partnership AND on his idea to start a branch in Cancun or some other recreational pleasure spot. Alonso wants to keep the "team" together.

Poor Ale, the newbie, is left with representing Isabel in her divorce case against Gus. Gus is still being pitiful, pitying himself. The decision to give it to her is based on the rest of the "team" having known Gus longer they would be biased. Except that this is a telenovela, it's all wrong. Isa should be seeking a lawyer from outside the firm.

Wonder who will get Karina's case when she finds out about Benji.

Kirby--don't forget, we saw ALAN near the door as the room service cart was rolling towards the room and he told the guy not to bother them. Hmmmmmm.

Addendum--Alan might have had an extra key card. After all, he selected and reserved the place for the party. He's not off the hook in my book.

Oh how Ducky Benji. You want Alonso to send you (and of course LetMe, though you didn't say it) to Cancun or somewhere to start a branch office?

That should be Alonso's cue to start building the paper trail to eventually effortlessly rid the company of him and his walking dress code violation.

Unless your Daddy owns the company (see Mauricio @LogaToys in Papa) you don't get to be Alonso without some hard work and smarts. That said, I'd bet there is not much going on in that office that Alonso does not know about, though he may not let on that he does unless it serves his purposes.

No Alan isn't off the hook. As a matter of fact Anita, I have him as prime suspect number one.

Surely Isa could have gotten a lawyer outside the firm, but oh well it's all part of the plot. Gus is pathetic,he acts like he's the victim,he should accept the consequences of his action and come to the realization that he deeply scared his wife and she deserves better than him.

Ale and Ric are really enjoying each other, they better take advantage of every moment they get to spend together before Carlos is out of jail which seems to be very pronto based on all the work Leo and Rob have been doing.

Alonso is about the team. Benjamin is not a team player (neither is Leticia). Benjamin is about himself. No way would Alonso partner up with Benjamin or let Benjamin run a branch office because when Benjamin screws up, Alonso would be on the hook; Benjamin would make sure of that.

Now, if Roberto, Ricardo or Victoria suggested starting up a branch office, Alonso would consider it because they are team players and they would run the branch to the benefit of the team, not themselves.

Since Benjamin & Leticia think so highly of themselves, they need to start up their own firm and be a star at their own firms. But you've got to pay the cost to be the boss and neither one of them is willing to pay the cost.

I still think Gustavo loves Isabel (or the idea of Isabel or Isabel/Luis as an extension of Gustavo), but Gustavo loves Gustavo MORE. One of the key hallmarks of cheating (IMO) is selfishness. Gustavo is still not thinking about Isabel one bit. It's how Gustavo doesn't want to lose his family and Gustavo is in pain. Well, Isabel didn't want to lose her family and Isabel is in pain, but here we are.

Gustavo sounds just like Milena, to be honest. They do say you attract who you are. At any rate, he has no chance of getting Isabel back unless & until he does the work:

WHY did you decide to cheat on Isabel? Because you don't wake up one day and decide to cheat. There are lots of steps you take internally before actually cheating. If Gustavo can't answer this simple question & pretends not to know why, the liklihood of him cheating again is very high. If he can't be honest with himself, he can't be honest with Isabel and therefore the relationship has no hope of recovery.

On Isabel's end, her priority needs to be protecting herself and Luis from Gustavo & Milena. If that means divorcing Gustavo, then that's what she needs to do. I personally think she should take a cooling off period with no contact from Gustavo so she can plan her moves with a cold mind.

Gustavo blaming Milena for his mess is him not taking responsibility for HIS actions. Milena didn't make him sleep with her and if he's that weak, he's not the man Isabel needs anyway.

I do think Gustavo loves Isabel (or the idea of Isabel) but he loves himself MORE, and until he does the work and decides he loves Isabel more than himself, he has zero chance of ever getting her back.

😁lol Kirby, Benny and his "walking fashion Violation". THat is perfect for miss "I'm the queen fashionista for Vega and Associates". Wouldn't be surprised if she hooked around to pay her Law School tuition, which would explain why she so good at hooking a stupid lawyer like Benjamin who thinks he's so smart. And that shows how NOT smart she is. They are perfect for each other, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dumber.

OT..ANita...could you refresh my memory , please! You once told me the route you take to Boston. We are planning another trip to New Brunswick , Canada , and we are looking for a route with less traffic. The last time we drove we had to cross the Tapansee BRidge and deal with the traffic around Boston(bad). Thank you.

Susanlynn--It's the LONG way around, but a lovely drive through green mountains, valleys, lakes, etc. It will add about an hour and some miles to Acton (my destination), but if you didn't like the Tappan Zee and you have the time, I love it. Essentially, take I-87 toward Albany and turn right onto I-90, the Mass Turnpike. Get off at I-495 to go around Boston and catch I-95 further north. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Anita !!!

Ok up there with the smiley face, that anonymous was me. I must have hit the wrong thingy kirby.

When the gals were talking, Leticia said that she thought that Elena
cheated on Ricardo because she was bored with him and that she no longer cared about him. Elena replied, to the contrary, that she cheated on him to get his attention and make him jealous. [A warped theory, but that was her strategy so that as other men
pursued her, Ricardo would find her more desirable.]

NiNa I thought it was you, but it didn't sound like your voice.

:-)

Floridia, you just can't argue with THAT (Ebitch) logic now can you?

Like: 'I was ready to get rid of that old car, but when it blew that head gasket I just couldn't, no matter how much they offered me for it.'

Bizzaroland

Elena cheating on Ricardo to get his attention makes sense for Elena, because she has the need to be the center of attention. She gets jealous when her children get more attention than her.

Unless Elena's family of origin was affluent, it's probably never occurred to her that she drives a very nice vehicle and lives in a very nice apartment because Ricardo was working hard and not up her ass 24-7. (or he could've been working long and hard to avoid her and her tantrums and whines).

I think Elena/Ricardo's issue is they probably don't (and never did) have that much in common & he fell in love with the children, not her.

That makes more sence Anon207. She is
Such a selfish sniveling pompus cold heart wretch. He probably did fall in love with the younguns. I cannot see him in Lerve with her. Ever.

My cousin said they got more snow, O My gosh. Well them rodents did see their shadow,so 6 more weeks of snow?
For you northerners anyway. We do get chilly but nothing like yall. Y'all be
Safe, and try and avoid the black ice.
If thats even possible.
