Noel tries to escape by holding the door open with his cane, but he is caught immediately, subdued, and dragged back to his room while the nurse injects him with his “medicine.”

Tono and Veronica bring Fidel back home and let everyone know that he had nothing more than a stuffy nose. Tono then asks Esperanza to take the kids for a bath and she obliges, slightly annoyed. Once alone with Tono, Veronica asks him to lay off his mother, because everyone makes mistakes, but he thinks she’s too old to care for the kids and, therefore, doesn’t trust her. Either way, Veronica thinks they should care for the kids, if they are going to be home, but Tono is adamant that she’s too old (but still leaves them with Esperanza so he and Veronica can go to the cooperative company meeting).

At Kika’s hotel, Charytin readies their bags and sent them down to the car. She then tells Kika to get a move on because they are going back to Miami but Kika wonders if she should say goodbye to Jorge before leaving. Charytin thinks Jorge should be chasing her, not the other way around, and steals Kika’s phone so she can’t talk to Jorge. Charytin refuses to give it back and they chase each other for a bit until Charytin manages to run away form the room with Kika after her.

That night, at the cooperative meeting, Tono apologizes to Maria for the uncomfortable situation at his ex-company and reveals that he and Veronica were fired. Jorge presses him for answers, but Ton deflects his questions and Jorge confesses that he isn’t doing well because Dulce came back to his house and he doesn’t know what to do. Mauricio suggests he push Dulce out of the house, since she left, but Maria and Jorge agree that it won’t be that easy, especially because he and Dulce are still married, and marriage is forever. After a moment, Jorge suggests they start the meeting and everyone agrees but can’t stop looking at him. Jorge demands they stop and start the meeting, ASAP!

At Jorge’s, Baldo and Lili are talking about their future plans, and how Jorge is preventing them from leaving, when Dulce walks in and pretends to sympathize with them and suggests they do what they wish. Baldo demands to know why she wants them out of the house and stop pretending she cares about them.

At the meeting, Mauricio and the team discuss where they should make the toys. Neron thinks they should try Logatoys again but Maria has spoken to other factories and they are willing to let them use their equipment, if they pay. Mauricio nods and prefers to go elsewhere because using Logatoys will be more trouble than it’s worth.

Dulce reiterates that she just wants to help the twins, but they don’t believe her, because they remind her of Jorge’s cheating. Dulce reiterates that she does resent the fact that Jorge cheated but their mother was her friend before and, at the end of the day, she only wants what is best for them.

Jorge hijacks the meeting again and tells everyone that his house is too crowded, and he hasn’t even thought of Lili’s baby, but Tono reminds him that he’s coming and there’s no way around it. Mauricio wants to know what is going on between him and Kika though, because he knows they love each other, but Jorge stumbles, trying to explain how bad Kika is at being motherly or a housewife. Tono thinks the most important thing is that Kika is hot but Maria thinks that is sexist and besides the point. Maria then goes to check on Anifer and Tono asks Mauricio what is going on with Mauricio. Mauricio redirects the attention to Jorge, by promising to help him be happy again, but Jorge thinks the most important thing is that he needs a job, an income earning job, ASAP! Mauricio thinks Kika is who he needs to be happy and, when he’s happy, he will be profitable and help his family. He gives Jorge a hug while Jorge runs from his touch.

In Anifer’s room, Maria asks Anifer about what she thinks when she sees Fabian. Anifer confesses that she hopes he doesn’t die and hopes he gets better soon. Maria is happy to see that her daughter holds no resentment toward Fabian but Anifer wants to know if she resents Fabian. Maria doesn’t know how to answer.

The next day, Jorge goes to look for Kika at her suite but finds the maid cleaning the room. The maid tells him that Kika left last night, likely in route to Miami, and Jorge thanks her. He then goes out into the hallway, takes out his phone, but puts it away before he makes a call.

At Neron’s, Neron eats breakfast with Flor and discusses Pablo’s current activities, which all but demonstrate what a hard-working man he is, and how good he and Lili are together. Neron hopes Pablo can move to an apartment with Lili soon, as Jorge’s house is getting crowded, like that movie he saw when he was young. Flor hasn’t seen it and, once again, realizes his age in comparison to Flor. Ciceron then knocks on the door and Neron welcomes him in. After a moment, Ciceron asks if he can stay with them for a bit because he has no job or a house and is not alone. He opens the door and in come his wife and two kids, who greet Flor and give her a hug, as she wonders what she will do now because they keep calling her “grandma.”

Renee comes out of her house when Mauricio stops her and asks if she knows why Noel pretended to be dead this whole time or if she talked to Fabian about it. Renee still isn’t clear on the why but assumes that he didn’t feel like living so he pretended to be dead. Mauricio remembers that Noel used to be very happy, even years after his wife’s death, but Renee confirms she found Noel’s diary and that was not the case. Mauricio asks her to let him read it and she obliges before leading him back to her house.

At his house, Jorge looks over his bills and finances when Dulce comes and suggests she get a job, for now, so that their money isn’t so tight. Jorge reiterates that he is the man of the house, but Dulce thinks she can help him, like Veronica helped Tono, but Jorge brings up her betrayal. Dulce suggests he give it some thought and give her a second chance before kissing him on the cheek, close to the lips. Jorge tries to move away but he ends up giving into her kiss.

At Renee’s, Renee talks to Mauricio about the diary, he gives her a smoldering look and Renee asks him to stop looking at her that way. Mauricio tries but they can’t help but remember their love making sessions and all the times they were happy together, in each other’s arms. Renee tries to get them back to the point, that is, that Fabian had a creepy childhood, as did Mauricio, when Mauricio confesses that he never thought they’d be connected any other way but what they were. Renee thinks he mentions Anifer, but Mauricio confesses that he means their love and gives her a kiss. Renee doesn’t pull away because she knows the truth, she has not stopped loving Mauricio.

At the hospital, Fabian wakes up to find Mauricio in his room. She tells him that she’s there with all the proof she has on him, and she’s willing to destroy it all, but she has one condition (that you give her a brain and brain cells because this has to be the most blatantly stupid plot development ever!)

Renee pulls away from Mauricio and declares that their kiss was a mistake, not their relationship, but their recent kiss. Mauricio wonders if she didn’t enjoy but Renee confirms it was very good and it served to confirm that there is no passion between them. Mauricio nods and kisses her again and they confirm that there is nothing left between them. Mauricio then wonders if she regrets meeting him, but Renee does not, she just doesn’t want to hurt Ariel or Maria or Anifer. Mauricio agrees, and Renee confirms that Ariel will help her start her new life and he will have the family his daughter wanted. They both nod but confirm hat they still have doubts about their love, because the kiss was actually very good, and they go in for another kiss but are interrupted by an incessant doorbell. Mauricio sighs and answers the door. It’s Ariel, who wonders if he’s interrupting, but Mauricio tells him no before cursing his luck.

Maria tells Fabian that she has no copies of anything, as she promised, and tells him her one condition: should he survive the surgery, he will reject his paternal rights over Anifer and not report Mauricio for registering her in his name. Fabian agrees but asks if he can continue to see Anifer, at least until the surgery. Maria agrees.

Dulce confesses that she’s blushing, like a teenager, and thanks God for helping her find her way back to her husband. Jorge agrees, and Dulce thinks everything they went through was just a test and they will come out stronger on the other side. She then asks him to stop the divorce proceedings and tell their children the good news, but Jorge asks her for some time to get everything in order. Dulce agrees but thinks they should restart their old plans and buy a bigger, better house with a garden. Jorge reminds her that he needs a new job, to get more funds for their future, but Dulce reveals that she has her own nest egg. When Jorge asks her where the money came from, Dulce tells him that the food is burning and runs to the kitchen. Jorge wonders what is happening.

Veronica and Tono ask Esperanza to stay home and cook dinner, as they have errands to run, and they will pick up the kids. Esperanza agrees and Veronica eyeballs Tono, so he apologizes to his mother. Tono tries to do the best he can and makes a joke about her famous flying sandal when he was young, though Esperanza won’t forget how he talked to her and walks to the kitchen. Tono asks Veronica if he overstepped and she nods.

Ciceron asks Neron for permission to stay a couple of days, because the bank kicked him out without warning, and Neron wonders what happened to his business. His wife explains that some cockroaches from the business next door got into their business and it was closed by the department of health. Neron nods but thinks things will be tight with everyone together though Ciceron reminds him that he and Socretes paid his fine so he could re-open his business. Neron can’t believe they are bringing that up but Ciceron asks him to stay again and Flor pretends to hear Milady crying so she grabs Neron and drags him to their room. Ciceron’s wife thinks his dad won’t accept them at home but Ciceron tells her to be positive because he will.

Mauricio asks Ariel if he wants anything to drink, because Ariel is always arriving at the best time, and he’s leaving. Renee reminds him that he ahs to look over Noel’s diary, but Mauricio prefers to leave, unlike others who are always in the way. Ariel explains that he came back to help Renee, so they can leave to the US together, and Mauricio asks Renee what she thinks about all of this. Renee pretends that he and Ariel stop fighting and Mauricio can look over the diary later. Mauricio agrees and goes as Ariel asks Renee if there is anything else going on with Mauricio. Renee evades the questions and goes to get them coffee.

Maria offers to leave the proof with Fabian, but he asks her to take them with her, as a sign of good faith, and destroy them herself. He then confesses that he always loved her, but Maria reminds him that he lied to her, about everything, as the doctor walks in and asks for some privacy to run some tests. She leaves and, once alone with Fabian, the doctor reveals that he sent his file to his colleagues, so he can get a second opinion. Fabian thanks him.

Flor chides Neron for almost accepting Ciceron’s offer without consulting her but Neron reiterates that they can’t kick them out on the street. Flor thinks they will be just find at a shelter but Neron reminds her that she’s barley home and Ciceron’s wife, Socorro, can help her out. Flor considers this and Neron tells her that they won’t stay long before she finally accepts. Just then, the sound of shattered porcelain reverberates throughout the house and Flor runs outside the room to find her broken porcelain cat on the floor. She demands to know who did it but neither the adults nor the children, Ulysses or Aquiles, knows what happened. Neron offers to pick it up but Flor stops him because she will pick up her broken cat that no one broke. Ciceron and his family shrug as Neron looks on.

Ariel knocks on Mauricio’s door and Mauricio is very unhappy to see him. Ariel tells him that he thinks he’s an idiot, but he knows the truth: he still loves Renee. Mauricio nods and confesses that he may never forget Renee, but Ariel warns him that Renee is with him and she will never be his again. Mauricio thinks he is just feeling insecure about what Renee feelings and Ariel stares him down.

As Flor cleans up, Ulysses and Aquiles run around, screaming. She screams for them to stop and, among the silence, Socorro and Ciceron thank Neron for letting them stay because they will be able to see each other more and be a family. Flor wants to know how long they will stay though, officially, and Ciceron tells her that it will be a couple of days. Flor nods and Ciceron screams that he and his family can stay in his old room, but Flor reminds them that Milady sleeps there. Ciceron thinks they should move her to another room, for a couple of days, but Flor is shaking her head as someone rings the doorbell. It’s the moving company, full of their stuff, who came to drop it off. Flor is shocked at the audacity of Ciceron and his family.

In Miami, Kika cries at her desk when Charytin comes and tells her that their parents want to take them to lunch. Kika confesses that she doesn’t want to, and can’t believe Jorge hasn’t tried to contact her, but Charytin tells her to focus on herself and her business, especially her dwindling YouTube channel. Kika doesn’t care though because she doesn’t have Jorge and cries.

Ariel can’t believe Mauricio wants Renee back, as he already has a girlfriend, Maria, but Mauricio reveals that he and Maria are no longer together. Ariel thinks he should tell Renee, but Mauricio reminds him that everyone should mind their own business and Ariel nods before leaving.

At Renee’s, Rafael tells Renee about how good the talks are going and Rafael nods as Rodrigo smiles. Rodrigo then asks Renee if she’s made a decision about her home, but Renee tells him that she hasn’t yet. Just then, Renee receives a call from a woman claiming to have information about the Missing Person Posters she put up. Renee is all ears…
