Amar a Muerte, 12/19/2018, Episode 33: Something's Burning...and It Ain't Love

Johny praises León for being a good man—a man with good values and principles, he was like a father to Johny. After León/Chino/Jacobo (LCJ) asks Johnny what exactly León was to him, Johny hightails it out of there. LCJ smirks in satisfaction for getting to Johny.
Camilo arrives at the club and tries to go in, but is stopped at the door despite telling the guard that they are waiting for him. After the guard closes the door, Cami looks around wondering how he can get in. Inside, Karla is tied up with a bloody nose (probably from that gruesome ring on El Ruso’s pinkie). She asks El Ruso what else he wants, they almost killed her father. They can’t kill her just over a card game, especially after she brought them their money. El Ruso reminds her that she is a gambler, so she should know the rules…a bet is a bet. After the goon adds that a robbery is a robbery, Karla shouts that the money was hers—she won it. As she yells, another goon points a gun at her head while EL Ruso tells her that no one makes fools of them and whoever tries will pay dearly. Karla looks at the goon holding the gun and asks him if he really thinks she is afraid of death, she has already been there. They can send her back and she will be waiting for them. She shouts at him to shoot her.

In San Antonio, Barbara lights a candle to the Virgin of Guadalupe while Beltino looks at his alter of the Santa Muerte (SM). Barbara doesn’t feel at all comfortable sleeping beside SM. I suspect the feeling is mutual…? After Beltino laughs and tells her she is ignorant, a couple of goons approach, and Beltino hears the dogs barking. He motions to Barbara to keep quiet. He looks out the window and sees nothing, so he goes back and prays to SM.
Jacobo returns Lucía’s call. She tells him about Armenta’s call. After LCJ asks if he wants another interview, Lucía tells him no, that Armenta wants a “private’ interview…alone, and it seems that it is not regarding business...more like a date. Lucía doesn’t know what to do. After she tells LCJ that Armenta didn’t even let her talk…he just told her he would let her know the time and place, LCJ suggests that she get some rest. They can figure out what to do the next day. Lucía thanks him for being there for her, he does her good (Yes, he does!) After she hangs up, Lucía sees Vale at the kitchen door and wonders how long she has been there.
Johny is at what looks to be a high-class bordello. He talks to the owner and tells her he is there looking for the girl she sent him a few nights ago. The owner wonders who it could be because that night she had all her girls attend a private party for a politician, she couldn’t send anyone. When Johny starts to question her, the owner tells him not to worry because she has the best girl for him. After five scantily-clothed girls come out, Johny removes his glasses to take a better look and slobbers as he smiles.
At Eva’s house, Mateo tries to get it on with Eva, but she is too tired (fixing the shower?). Mateo offers to get rid of her tiredness, but Eva is serious, she is dead tired. After she walks into the bathroom, Mateo asks if they really have become one of those couples…what about what he wants? (Mateo has an Epiphany) Eva wonders what it is that he wants, they just had sex not too long ago. (2017?) After Mateo reminds her it has been a month, Eva argues (And thinks, Ha ! Maybe for you.) that there have been too many problems and she just can’t think about having that type of relationship with him. Mateo pleads that he just wants to be with her…touch her, kiss her, and make love to her. Eva understands, but he needs to understand what she has been going through…her father died not too long ago and right now she has no desire or time. When Mateo asks when she will be ready, Eva doesn’t know, she needs time. Mateo agrees and will give her time and space. I get it, she doesn’t want to cheat on her boyfriend with her husband. Mat will snivel, boyfriend will shoot her.
At his evil castle, Alacrán tells Gancho that he is tired of all those cheap women. When Gancho asks if he is ill, Alacrán replies that “yes’ there is a woman who is making him (love)sick. Gancho tries to find out who the woman is, but Alacrán reminds him that curiosity killed the cat. Gancho then wonders if this woman has anything to do with the person who he connects with at the Carvajal Group…is it the same woman? As Alacrán holds his gun, he tells Gancho that he isn’t that dumb. Gancho grabs his own gun and tells him, “XXX, no!” Alacrán gives him a fierce look, then they both laugh. Oh Noes, that was a yes.
At the casino, Karla pleads that they just shoot her and stop threatening her. She wants them to take her out of her misery. El Ruso responds that things won’t end with just one bullet, they are going to have fun with her first...they are going to torture her. As El Ruso leaves, he tells his men to have fun. As he laughs with his main goon, Montilla comes to the rescue!! Shots are fired and the cops detain all the goons as Montilla takes Karla out of there. Once outside, Karla hears Cami call out to her so she runs and hugs him tightly. She thanks him for not listening to her. We DO like us some Camillo.
At the Carvajal kitchen, Vale and Lucía have a woman-to-woman chat. Lucía tells Vale that she heard all the shouting earlier and wonders if everything is okay. Vale doesn’t know. Love is a not an easy thing. Vale can’t tell if it’s love or something else, she wishes she knew. Lucía responds that love is complicated, but true love is the best. Everything Vale is going through right now is worth it. Vale thinks Lucía must have loved her father very much. Lucía replies that she did, unfortunately a person realizes how much they love someone after they lose that person…she misses her father very much.
Cami is back home and tells LCJ about Karla and the rescue. When he notices LCJ’s jaw and asks what happened, LCJ tells him it was Johny who followed him there and LCJ told him some not-so-nice things. Just then, LCJ gets a phone reminder about Guille’s birthday. Cami thinks that between LCJ, Karla and Johny…they are going to give him a heart attack. Cami notices that LCj has a forlorn look and asks what is going on. LCJ replies that it is almost midnight…and it will be Guille’s birthday. As he tells Cami how he used to go to the kitchen to get a cake and take it to Guille, Vale enters Guille’s room with a cake and sings “Las Mañanitas” to him. LCJ continues that a week before his unexpected death, he had gone to go buy a gift. Cami suggests they celebrate Guille’s Birthday with ….wait for it...A DRINK. Surprise !
In his bedroom, Guille reflects on how his father would bring him a cake every year. After he blows out the candle he thanks Vale for remembering.
At Renata’s apartment, Kayla can’t believe Renata spent all the money she lent her on a gift for Guille (that’s love, girl!). As Renata comments that Guile is going to luurve it, she gets a text from Mayela that she wants her to join her for breakfast. Kayla suggests that Renata make it clear to Mayela that she only works for Guille and is not her messenger. Renata assures Kayla that she is only doing all of this for Guille. Renata then reflects and thinks that the surprise party is not such a good idea. Guille probably won’t like a surprise party so soon after his father’s death. Kayla thinks Renata knows Guille very well and teases her about it.
In San Antonio, Barb gets up from the couch where she is sleeping and goes to check on Beltran who is sprawled out on his bed fast asleep. She goes to the kitchen to look for something to eat and as she walks around, she notices a light pass by. She yells out to Beltran who comes quickly, but he thinks she was only imagining things. Barb assures him that she did see it and comments that this house has bad vibes, she wants to leave tomorrow! When he doesn’t listen to her, she shows him the beer and bread she found. She notices that the bread is not stale so someone has been living there.
Karla struggles down the sidewalk toward her house when Death Chick walks past her and tells her, “It has been a disaster, Karla. What a pity!”

Next Day—
At the Carvajal home, Silvina takes Guille a special breakfast to his room…because it is a very special day. After she says ‘Happy Birthday’ and leaves, Lucía comes by to wish him a happy birthday too. After he thanks her, she walks in slowly and gives him a gift bag…it is not from her, it is from his father. Guille eagerly looks inside and finds a tie. His father invited her to go buy it with him since he knew Guille wouldn’t like it very much, but it would be very useful…for those boring meetings. Guille thinks it’s the perfect gift…though he would have liked for his father to give it to him, but it makes him feel close to his father.
At the company, Renata has breakfast with Mayela and tells her that a surpise party is not a good idea because of the recent death of Guille’s father. Mayela insists that it isn’t going to be a huge party, just a small gathering of friends. When Renata asks if the family knows, Mayela replies that she will inform Vale…Renata’s charge is to contact the friends, get booze and food, and make sure Guille doesn’t find out. Renata points out that it is just her opinion…but what Guille doesn’t need right now is a party or gathering. Mayela counters that Renata is just Guille’s secretary, she has been Guille’s friend since they were children…so what he does need is a party. Like shoo fly. So screw up the party and blame it on Mayela, Renata. Think, girl.
[At Pancho’s house, his kids are making a ruckus as they wait for their breakfast. Pancho tries to (unsuccessfully) quiet them down, so mommy dearest comes and yells at the kids to settle down. She angrily notes that Pancho can’t control his own kids. She then criticizes the breakfast Pancho made and tells him he is a good-for-nothing.] skipped scene After Pancho storms out frustrated, he gets a call from Lupita who is at work. She wants to thank him for getting her the job, she is very happy there. When she apologizes for being rude, she asks what his plans are for the afternoon because she would like to thank him personally. Oh Boy, how personally Loopey? Pancho has absolutely nothing to do and is looking forward to talking. Lupita reminds him that there will be nothing of “the other.” Girl Talk Translation: Today is your lucky day.
At Karla’s house, Karla is in bed when she starts convulsing. She is also bleeding quite a bit, her pillow is soaked in blood.
In San Antonio, Barb gets up from the couch calling out for Beltino who doesn’t seem to be around. She goes into his bedroom and looks at the SM altar. Beltino comes quietly from behind and pokes her…scaring the heebie-jeebies out of her. Beltino went out early and brought something for breakfast. He tells her to make breakfast so they can go dig up his dough later.
Alacrán gets a call from one of his goons who reports that someone has come to stay in El Chino’s house. It’s a woman and some guy who is as tall as a giraffe. Alacrán orders the goon to keep a close watch because El Chino may have sent them for the money.
In San Antonio, Barb complains that Beltino better not expect her to help him dig, she has a hernia that could burst. When Beltino tells her that he doesn’t expect her to help him, Barb wonders why the heck he brought her then. As they argue and walk away, two goons come out from behind the trailer.
Fabián is at his own home having breakfast when he gets a call from LCJ who asks if he is home now. Fabián assures him that he is, he kept his word and now wonders when LCJ will follow through. LCJ tells him to be patient and enjoy his family. Fabián will soon see him.
As LCJ hangs up, he sees Guille walking toward him. After they greet each other, LCJ asks about the tie, so Guille tells him it is a present from his father. LCJ is sure that, wherever his father is, he is probably celebrating his birthday. Guille thinks LCJ sounds like Cami, he says similar things. After they comment on religion and death, LCJ hands Guille a present—a book titled, Mysteries of the PreHispanic Mexican Civilizations. LCJ thinks Guille might find some answers to his questions in the book. AS LCJ walks away, Guille calls out to him and thanks him.
Up on the balcony, Mayela talks to Vale about the party. Vale reminds her that her father just died, but Mayela insists that she knows it takes time to accept the death, but it is Guille’s birthday. Vale still thinks it is a bad idea, Guille will kill her. Mayela counters that they just need to take a breather. Mayela convinces Vale when she points out that it has been years since she has been able to give Guille a surprise like this.

Mateo slowly approaches Eva who is having breakfast in the veranda. Eva comments that it is Guille’s birthday, she can just imagine how he is feeling. When she suggests that they invite him out to dinner, Mateo suggests she ask Guille since he may not feel like going out. As she invites Mateo to join her for breakfast, she picks up the paper and see THE ARTICLE! Clenching her teeth, she asks, “Why did you do it?”
At the evil castle, Gancho chides Alacrán for falling in love with a filly, you loosen the reins and they take off. Alacrán snaps that no one makes a fool of him…and he should know that well.
Outside the Carvajal house, LCJ watches Lucía as she relaxes in a lounger. He recalls how he told Johny that he wanted to get Lucía involved in the company and warned Johny that he’d better not fall in love with her. Johny replied that LCJ was like family and women of the family are untouchable. LCJ gets Lucía’s attention. She is not going in to work today, she doesn’t want to stress about office things. LCJ thinks she doesn’t look stressed. Lucía tells him that this is exactly what she needed—fresh air. After Armenta’s call, she couldn’t sleep. LCJ then remarks what a pity it was to hear what he heard when they finished their love-making. He thought that she was not only the widow of Mexico, but also the widow of León Carvajal…and to find out that she was his best friend’s lover…as well…
At Camilo’s house, Cami asks Mercedes, his assistant, if she has heard from Karla. Mercedes hasn’t been able to reach her. Cami tells her to keep trying. Meanwhile, Karla is trying to control the bleeding from her tattoo. Cami then goes to his office to record notes. He has come to know a person who has experienced life and death. Her name is Karla and she claims that she does not fear death, what she fears is not knowing how to take advantage of the second opportunity she was given. As he talks, Karla continues to stop the bleeding and is in pain. As Cami also wonders why Karla was given a second chance at life, Karla cleans off the blood which has now stopped. Cami asks why the soul searches for another body. Karla starts bleeding again, and as she cries out in pain and falls to the floor, the black moth flies away. As she gets up, she sees that she is Jeraldi again.
LCJ and Beltran also experience pain and bleeding from their tattoos as Cami asks, “If we are given a second chance at life, what will we do? Who decides if what we are doing is right? Does the soul have some form of intelligence…or can someone make mistakes again? Who knows…”
As Jeraldi/Karla looks at her hands, they start burning…and she screams in terror as the rest of her body also burns. She turns back into Karla as she tries to get up…then crawls to the other room as flames start to engulf the room. As she does, her phone rings inside the burning room, Ernesto is calling to let her know the he and Monica are at the restaurant waiting for her. As he tells her that he hopes that she can go and that this may be the second chance they deserve, Karla lies unconscious surrounded by flames.
Still outside, Lucía wonders where LCJ gets the idea that she and Johny are lovers, he is crossing the line. LCJ continues that he was nauseated when he heard them. Lucía questions who LCJ thinks he is to be judging her…a chauffeur, because that is what he is. All he knows about her is what he has learned since he started working there, so what he heard was just a misunderstanding. When she asks, “Is that clear?” LCJ replies that, if it was a misunderstanding, then he must have something wrong with his ears. Lucía then notices the cut on LCJ’s jaw, so he explains that Johny hit him…maybe it’s Johny’s intuition or suspicion that LCJ is his competition. Lucía gets frustrated with LCJ’s comments and tells him to leave. LCJ obliges so she can make her decision, but Lucía wonders what decision it is that she has to make. LCJ snaps back that he is only her chauffeur so she needs to decide who she is going to choose, the drug-trafficker or her husband’s friend. He storms off after telling her to rest well.
Sirens are at full blast as Pedro arrives to his home. The firemen hold him back as he shouts that that is his house that is burning. Meanwhile, Cami again asks Mercedes if she has made contact with Karla. She hasn’t, so Cami asks Mercedes for Karla’s address and leaves
In San Antonio, Barb complains to Beltino about having to walk through the rough…why can’t they take a normal road. When she adds that there is no need for her to be there, Beltino tells her to go ahead and go back. As she tells him that she can’t go back and that this better get them to the money he promised her, the two goons follow close behind.
At Eva’s house, Eva is ranting that as soon as she gets to the office, she is going to fire Palomarez. Mateo tells her that it was he who convinced Palomarez. Eva retorts that then it’ll be his fault that Palomarez disobeyed her orders. Mateo doesn’t understand why she is so against his article, so she responds that she doesn’t want them to kill him. She questions if he can’t see how things are and reminds him that they killed Gastón. She doesn’t want them to hurt Mateo or her. As they argue about what it means to be a reporter in Mexico, Eva’s phone rings. Guess Who?? She quickly answers and snarls that at this moment she cannot answer. Alacrán looks at his phone. Mateo then asks Eva what is happening, so she hisses that she is fed up with him. Meanwhile, Gancho asks Alacrán if something is wrong. Alacrán replies that he got the wrong number. He then orders Gancho to get all the men ready, it’s time to play hardball. Gancho wonders who it is they will kill.
At the Carvajal security office, Lucía follows LCJ in and asks the guard to leave them alone. After she slams the door closed. Lucía turns on LCJ and tells him that she will not permit anyone to talk to her in such a way and much less to leave her talking. LCJ apologizes, he thought they were finished. Lucía retorts that they will finish talking when she says so. She makes it clear that what she does or doesn’t do after her husband’s death is her problem. When he coldly tells her that it is clear, Lucía can’t believe he can be so hard on her…he can’t judge her like that. She hasn’t had it easy, she is very confused and part of that confusion is LCJ. When LCJ wonders if she has the same confusion with him as she has with Johny, Lucía replies that she doesn’t have to be giving him any kind of explanations. No one knows what it is like to be at your wedding and become a widow in a second…and have to take the reins on this life that isn’t even hers. She warns him that if he goes looking for her, he will find her, he doesn’t know her well. She admits to having made mistakes after her husband’s death…many mistakes. LCJ then informs her that, in passing by the study, he found out that what she has with Johny has been going on for a long time. He asks if she didn’t feel a little bit of shame with her husband. Ssssssssizzle, burn baby burn !

What a fantastic recap!! You hit on everything, which made reading your recap so worth it. So timely also. How do you post so quickly?
I thought the last 3 episodes were sort of boring. Hardly any action. I'm getting tired of so much butterfly blood.

Kirby, what a show you got to recap ! You did it justice ! I can't believe LCJ asked Lucia about the big elephant in the room.
What now, will she try to prove to him that the only man she trully cares about is him?
Sécurity office sex could be great !

What a screen shot Kirby!!!!

I have to admit I saw the first few minutes of this...I don't think I even want to know what the title means!!!

Adriana Noel, greetings! My how your lovely daughter has grown.

Diana (lost in terms of plot but loving the pics, avatars and titles)

Adriana the 'Elephant in the room' is perfect. I bet he has something not quite as fun as christening another desk in mind. Like security video from right before her wedding of her and Johny doing 'the desk'.

She is sitting there all prim and proper with 'Wait, chofer scum, who are you to question ME?'. I bet (Hopeo) he lets the tapes do the talking.

And Karla, I DO hopeo that Death Chick didn't let her do it to her dear little Monica twice. It was a clue when she told her Que Lastima when she passed her on the sidewalk. You give a coyote a second chance and let him out of your trap alive, and on the way out he gets your prize rooster. Shouldn't have been so generous Death Chik?

Thanks Kirby. A screen shot and a riveting recap. Love your describing Alacran's digs as "the evil castle". And I also love that this story keeps dishing up the big questions in life. Has Karla indeed ruined her second chance by trying to solve her problems with money rather than love? On the other hand, Beltrán really does need to retrieve the money to save his son's life. He has already met the child's needs for affection and camaraderie with his father. And will Jacobo ruin this passion he and Lucia have for each other by his desire for vengeance?

These are all mistakes each of us can make in life without having a transmigration of soul nor a bleeding tattoo.

Anyway, it was great to see your name at the bottom, knowing now that you can post your own recaps and are official! Congratulations. And thanks for being part of the A Team that has kept CarayCaray going. We are all very grateful.

Thank You Judy. This show makes you think sometimes. I am wondering if a lot of that Lucy--Joco passion may have been a part of his vengeance plan. He surely managed to turn on her like a rabid dog on it's master last night.

The Karla story is gruesome, m,ade even mor so with little Monica. You keep doing the same stupid things and expect the outcome to somehow be different. OK enough preaching.

The Giraffe and Gypsy with Goons were fun as always. It was a beanie moment as they were on their trek through the jungle. I understand neither has any law enforcement or military background, but the goons were following along like a couple of pets and they didn't notice? Of course with Barb's mouth going non stop you could sneak up on them with a lawn mower.

When oh when will Mr. Nice Guy Mateo (as we know always finish last) notice that his marriage has evaporated? Though I hopeo he eventually sees that Alacran has done him a big favor. Somebody has to take out the trash. :-)

And, though we had a nice shot of some fairly choice looking hookers for Johny, I would take Renata or Keyla over that whole crowd. Those two are just adorable. Sexy and gorgeous yes, but just adorable is at the top of the list. Woofing and wagging MY tail.

"Of course with Barb's mouth going non stop you could sneak up on them with a lawn mower."

Love that. And agree that Kayla and Renata are adorable. For us gals, great, fun friends. For you guys, reason to howl at the moon.

At my age, I just love seeing young beautiful people of any gender around. A reminder that Life goes on and it's not just old folks tottering towards the health caere unit in the nursing home.

Thank you, Kirby . I fell asleep on the sofa again and missed the show, so I was glad to have your snappy recap. Love the colors in your avatar today...keep the lovely images coming. I look forward to them everyday.

OT....Judyb, I can remember someone in the past on the patio comparing telenovelas to morality plays in which the bad are punished and the good rewarded in the end. I like the way the Beatles out it, "In the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." Yesterday, a teller at the bank told me, "Some people are too sweet for this world." I told you that Hub seems to be sending me messenges because every time I go to anywhere, I run into people we know. Yesterday, one of his best friends and his wife came into the bank while I was there. Lots of crying by us all.

WEll, at least it is sunny here today, and I am meeting two good friends from high school later. Trying to keep busy.

Thanks, Kirby. Greats recap. What a grim episode! Glad you took advantage of the lighter scenes to give us some of your snark...always a pleasure to read.

Question of the day is: Will Karla make it? It seemed like she was able to crawl out of that room; then she was passsed out amidst the flames. Guess we'll know for sure tonight.

Busy day; so have a good one Patio!

I think Karla is a goner. Sneaky that they showed her plaid shirt, but I couldn't see much else. But you just never know, Ole Chino looked to be having a bad day in old Sparky too and look at him now, sharing a desk with his widow.

Speaking of: I think his courtship and EVERY--THING with Lucia was part of his revenge plan. I mean, good work if you can get it, and he was falling for her and caught himself before it was too late. (Tail wagging the dog?) Know about that !

Montillo is a busy man. When they have a little more money CDMX should hire another policeman. No, wait, he has all his helpers, I suppose all this is happening in his precinct or something. Looks like what Karla needed more than a cop was a fire extinguisher or swimming pool to jump into.

Kirby--I echo JudyB's comment about seeing your name at the bottom as a recapper in your own right. You've graced us with your wonderfully funny and snarky recaps for some time now, but this somehow makes it special. Thank you so much. And yes, thank you for being a part of the A Team.

BTW, what questions did Guille have that were going to be answered by the book LCJ gave him? Do we know and I forgot? Guille seems to have been drifting through most of his life, shutting himself away from contact with ordinary people and bemoaning the fact that his father only paid attention to him on his birthdays. Poor lost soul.

I'm seeing JudyB as our resident psychological analyst and dispenser of answers to universally complex philosophical questions (and uplifting messages). We need a bit of grounded wisdom to make heads and tails out of this story.

Nevertheless, this tn is rising quickly to join my top 10 favorite telenovelas of all time (granted, it doesn't go back very far--only to En Nombre de Amor and Querida Enemiga when they were broadcast live, so I don't have that many to choose from). Yes, it has dueling narco cartels, but at least we haven't been exposed to the gritty business of moving drugs and deals between buyers and sellers, as we have to see over on Falsa Identidad.

It's just me, but I didn't think LCJ should have started his vengeance against Johny and Lucia just yet. We needed another good roll in the hay to get her really bedazzled by this guy, before the split starts. Granted he has enough video evidence to sink her, but how does that advance his investigation into his own death. He's alerted Johny that somehow he KNOWS things, although Johny might just think he was guessing. Oh, and the bordello visit came out of left field, but it explains "the package" he was expecting. I laughed when he took his glasses OFF to see the merchandise better.

RGV--Referring to Karla and the flames. At first I thought she was reliving the way she died, as she did once before. We didn't see her splashing gasoline this time. It was spontaneous combustion? Let Camilo deal with *that* aspect. He's obviously targeted Karla as being the closest to come to examination and interpretation of this whole mystery of transmigrated souls.

It was interesting that all three suffered pain and bleeding at the same time Karla did. She seems to be the one most tortured by her own death. To quote JudyB, "Has Karla indeed ruined her second chance by trying to solve her problems with money rather than love?" Well, we could add that the money was to help her husband and child stay out of poverty, but ni modo, understood.

Can't wait to see the party Mayela has planned end in disaster. Someone HAS to fall into that swimming pool. Kayla and Renata wondered if Renata had even been invited to the party. I think Mayela made that clear to her--Renata is his secretary and she a life-long friend. Uggh.

Kirby: Loved this, "At Eva’s house, Mateo tries to get it on with Eva, but she is too tired (fixing the shower?)." And, "I get it, she doesn’t want to cheat on her boyfriend with her husband. Mat will snivel, boyfriend will shoot her." I did notice that she was happily reading something on her tablet relaxing on the couch, but when Mateo approached her, then all of a sudden she's too tired, too busy, too soon after her father's death to be interested---might as well have saved her breath since the excuses sound so lame and just say she has a headache--that still works, doesn't it?

What is more forgiveable:. Karla's murder/suicide or Chino's numerous assassinations?

Maybe Karla's butterfly was bleeding more than Jacobo's or Beltran's so she will fall first, because, to date, she has only thought about the money, hardly her family at all.

i think it has more to do with them dying when it wasn't their time so karla died for the second time because she didn't take advantage of the second opportunity that she was granted.

Greatwork, Kirby. My apologies for the late post.

Barbara and Beltino are next if the tattooed ones are falling like dominoes although that can't happen too fast, since Leon's situation has to be the last one resolved.
