Amar a Muerte, 1/18/19, Episode 53: Revelations About The Relations

  • Valentina and Juliana arrive at the manse and are greeted by a wary Silvina.  After sending Val to get whatever they came to the house for, she advises Juls not to allow angelic Val to get physically hurt because of hanging around with Juls who is constantly enveloped in a cloud of menacing chaos.  Juls thinks about it and rolls her eyes.  (This corner of Viewerville agrees with Milagross that Juls, a nasty snit in her own way,  has definitely been a bad influence on Val, but Val ain't so pure as the wind driven snow and the two of them together recently just make one's skin crawl in this, we give Silvina 10 bonus points and do a FF>>FF>> )
  • At the same time, Guillermo drops off Renata by her apartment so she can feed the cat.  They kid and flirt and kiss.  She goes up.  While he waits, Mayela appears out of nowhere and turns stalker.  She yells at Guille for two-timing her and with his secretary of all things!  What will people think????   She saw him kissing her in the company parking lot and now in front of her apartment!!  He has given her plenty of reason with his actions to make May believe they had a thing still.  He tells her she's got a problem if she thinks she and him are an item.  His girlfriend is Renata, NOT her!  Well, she's not going to let him screw her over this way, she says and harrumphs away, leaving Guille dumbfounded.
  • Barbara's crystal ball has taken over possession of the house.  Suddenly La Muerte appears at her future-teller's table and tells her to accept her fate.  What fate?  La Muerte motions to the crystal ball.  Barb looks in it and gazes at her future but doesn't understand.  Barb is overwrought with fear.
  • Ren comes back downstairs and doesn't understand the change in Guille's attitude.  He's overly pensive.  Flirtations are past.  They head to the movie theater.
  • Jacobo/León is in the man cave snooping to see what Val and Juls are up to.  He eventually gets the shock of his life when he sees the two girls swapping spit in a Lesbian liplock.  FF>>FF>>
  • At the hospital, Alicia gives Beltran the third degree over finding him with that sexy little student, Rosita.  Is he having a midlife crisis and going after young lovers now?  Belchin denies it strongly.  She accuses him of lying and walks off.
  • Eva accidentally discovers the code box and wonders what it opens and what the code is.  She begins banging around.  He locks onto the camera outside and watches her try a number of codes and question Silvina about it.  Silvina says it was something only Don León used and knew the code to.  Eva orders her to find Fabricio.  "--There could be papers and other important things locked away in there, still!"
  • That evening, May is parked in her car a block or so away and watches as Guille and Ren arrive back from the movie.  She weeps as they kiss and then go together up to Ren's apartment.
  • Maru has gotten onto Hector's son's Facebook page and begins a conversation with him.  I cannot make out what it says.  Can't be good because the butterfly tattoo begins to bleed.
  • When Lucia arrives she begins burning the scary paper statues that Jacón left around to scare her with in her study's fireplace. Eva walks in and accuses her of burning evidence of her plans to steal her daddy's empire after murdering him.  Lucia tells her she doesn't have time or the inclination to verbally spar with her now.  Lucia does accuse her of being emotionally ill.  She tells her she's anything but happy and that she noticed this long before her daddy died.  She's just full of anger at life and the living.  Lucia pays lip service to the two of them some day becoming friends instead of enemies.  Eva snubs her and asks how could she become the friend of her father's possible murderess.
  • Once Jake is out of the man cave and back at Camilo's, he comments on what he saw going on between Val and El Chino's daughter.  He ain't happy about it either.  His daughter's had three boyfriends already!  Cam tries to insist that it's the 21st century. (Sorry, but tell me again, Televisa--just when did Biblical stricture become outdated?) Maybe she's experimenting, Cam suggests.  Jake fears the scandal that will befall his family.
  • At the Valle casa, Lupita is remembering what the man force inhabiting El Chino's finely chiselled face and body told her to take note of: his education, worldliness, and bearing.  She's trying to make sense of the transmigration business he mentioned that caused this confusion and how he's finding it just as strange as she does for him to be in her husband's body instead of his own.  Suddenly it dawns on her and she imagines Belchin' in a hooded sweatshirt with that same mischievous grin of El Chino of his face.
  • Next morning Juls sees that her mother's left the house and run off.  She calls Panchito for help.  His wife's a bitch and warns him it's their family or "her"!  He leaves.
  • Lupita disguises herself and enters the hospital.  She finds the nurse who helped her escape the bad guys.
  • Back at Cam's, Jake is out of sorts and doesn't care to discuss Val, Lucia, or anything else with his friend.  He walks off leaving Cam speechless.
  • At the hospital again,  we see that Lupita walks into Javier's room and has him wake his dad.  Belchin' is amazed to see her there.
  • At the area park a number of middle school/Jr. high kids are skate boarding.  Maru is there and I believe had made a date to meet Hector's son there.  Maru/Hector freaks out at the last minute and leaves without saying a word to the kid.
  • Guille and Val eat breakfast together and he confesses he's dating Ren now and she's different from all the other women/girls he's known.  Eva ruins the mood asking him about the new girlfriend.
  • Meanwhile, Silvina shows Lucia the keypad to the hidden room and tells her how Eva had ordered her to get Fabricio in there to open the lock.  However, her loyalty was to Sra. Lucia, Don León's widow.  She agrees to have Fabricio get the thing opened and doesn't care if he breaks the keypad to do it.  But, she must be the first person to enter the room once that's done.  Silvina is agreed.
  • Eva advises Guille not to get the girl pregnant and be stuck then with babies all over the place.  She then gets a phone call and leaves--much to everyone's relief.
  • Lupi and Belchin' walk toward the elevators.  She's thanking him for paying her hospital expenses.  He offers to get her a cab to ride back home in.  She looks into his eyes and he looks back into hers.  He asks why she's staring at him.  "--It's you, right?  You are El Chino, aren't you?"
  • Back at the manse, Lucia's on her way out when Jake surprises her and shoves her into the pantry.  He tells her their kidnapping scenario has begun.  "--A detective is following me and you must do whatever I tell you."  They kiss intensely.
  • Back at the hospital elevators, Belchin' is very adamant in denying he is really El Chino.  She apologizes and while he's calling the cab company, she asks what his son's suffering from.  "--Something very serious.  She tells him she's pray for his full recovery.  She has given him her address for the cab company and tells him to keep hold of it so that he might come visit any time he likes.  She doesn't want to lose contact with him.  She trusts him as her guardian angel..... and something about her look makes us think she thinks he's lying about being El Chino.
  • Johny is having a personal wine tasting in his office when a call comes through from the pol he and the paper is supposedly supporting for the Mexican presidency.  Apparently, Susana pulled a fast one on the two of them and wrote a very negative piece on him.  Johny reads the headline and is drop-jaw impactado.  The pol tells Johny to rectify the error or their association is kaput.
  • Armenta then learns from one of his goons that Lucia rejected his gift of the red car and gave it to her head of Security, Fabricio.  Armenta comments to himself that he'll have to see about that!
  • Meanwhile, Jake has brought Lucia to a mini-manse in the middle of nowhere to carry out their kidnapping game.  She can yell and no one can hear, it is that isolated.  She and he kiss again.
  • Johny has Susana come to his office for an explication.  Right before he blows up at her she turns on her phone to tape him.  She tells him she was following the journalistic ethic with impartiality.  However, if he wants her to trick the public into voting for the incompetent idiot she refuses.
  • At the same time, May is waiting outside Eva's office.  The two go into Eva's office to discuss (what else?) Guille's problematic problem.
  • Johny, is still blowing up at Susana.  He is going to fire her.  Go ahead, she replies; she was thinking of changing jobs anyway.  He explains that once he (if not Mr. Pol) is finished with her she'll never get another reporting job in all of Mexico.  Tomorrow she is to reverse what she's done and tells everyone why in spite of it all, they should really vote for him.  She says okay.
  • Ren arrives at work and Kayla doesn't have a chance to tell her what may be happening between Eva and Mayela before Eva walks out and orders Renata into her office.

Thank You Mucho Jardinera. I could not agree more abourt FF >>>> FF. I am sick of wasting my time being force fed Val and Juls by LooneyVision. The people who watch these shows probably made up their minds decades ago, as I did about those issues, leave us alone Un-ivision.

Boy, we saw STALKER coming a mile away. A bit of advice from the voice of experience, Guille: Have security clean out her desk, and fire her and take her badge. Don't let her back on the premises. She fired the first shot, (and second and third). Return fire.

I found myself secretly wishing they would find LCJ in the BatCave. At least that might get these people thinking.

kj

Jardinera--It was a pleasure to replay my favorite scenes along side your recap. Thank you.

I didn't catch that Ren needed to stop off to feed the cat BEFORE they went to the movies. Cute. It was just enough time for Mayela to ruin the evening for Guille. It certainly took them long enough to decide he could come up for a "night cap."

LCJ is certainly torn between what he feels for Lucia, refusing to discuss it and the Vale-Juls relationship with Camilo, but he certainly got into the sequester role play quickly--all in. Wonder how long it took him to think it up. Cute.

So, Barbara is in danger from Sra. Muerte. She's probably the first of our victims to get notified ahead of time.

LCJ was certainly panicked when he thought Eva was going to crack the code to the secret door to the Bat Cave. He didn't leave himself any place to hide or escape when he had it built.

Rosita is only reappearing to make trouble. Belchino will have enough trouble with Lupita in the Luupe and Barbra homeless.

Don't care about Maru-Hec's problems, other than to give something for Camilo to do. I like him, even though he has Einstein fly-away hair.

I don't think Luci "gave" the car to Fabricio as much as Eva told him to get rid of it. How is Luci going to explain that to a vengeful Armenta. I can't worry about Luci just yet, but I worry about Fabricio.

Had to laugh at your description of Johny and his personal wine tasting session in his office. Nothing he can do will change our minds on what an unctuous, obsequious excuse for a slime ball he is. He only reaffirms it every scene like this one.

I worry more for Renata than Fabricio. They can always hire another head of security (Jacobo Reyes, maybe?), but there will never be another Renata for Guille (or her cat).

Another interesting episode, Jardinera, with lots of loose ends and mysteries. I found myself wondering about Barbara's destiny also. Is it to be a true seer and give real answers based on the spirit in the crystal ball? Or is it simply to accept the destiny of all humans...which is to die. Quite a conundrum. Sometimes these episodes leave us with a lot more questions than answers.

Eva in her bossy big sister role sure ruined that giggly conversation between Guille and Valentina. I do like seeing how awkward he continues to be in his puppy pursuit of Renata. Refreshing to see a dorky character totally in love. And to have it happily reciprocated. Sure hope that Eva and equally bossy Mayela don't ruin it. They're certainly going to try though. And did they intentionally put Mayela in that unflattering dress to show how heavy her legs were in contrast to the lovely Renata? Clearly there's a reason why Mayela usually wears long pants.

Mayela and Servando Armenta are similar. Both are fixated on the person they want, pursue them aggressively with things (birthday parties, dinners, cars) they don't want, and then react in vengeful rage when the unwanted and unasked-for gifts and overtures are not appreciated. Scary to watch. And we see lots of harm coming.

I agree, Jardinera, that Lupita senses that Belchino was lying to her. Must have been his "mirada" that gave him away, since that was what finally convinced her that LCJ was not really her Chino in spite of his appearance.

And Anita, I still have a crush on Camillo and his wild hair. Don't you just want to run your fingers through it? I sure do. Plus, as I've said before, I love his home and his perpetually rumpled appearance.

Thanks for the recap Jardinera. Great title and a crisp, helpful re-telling of the perplexing and troubling events.

Thank you, Jardinera.

I have been thinking that with this show's theme, it might not be the best show for me to watch at this particular time in my life. However, I do love reading the comments of so many of my patio peeps. As in real life, I feel best when I am with my dear friends and family.

I'm a little confused about what Armenta is holding over Lucia. I am also amazed that he has not just forced her. Every telenovela has a Mayela..the girl that wants a guy and will not take "no" for an answer.

Well, I am waiting for the snow and ice to arrive. It is supposed to start tonight. I found a couple lanterns and candles in case the ice brings down the electric lines. #Iespeciallyhatewinterthisyear it used to be kind of fun and romantic being snowed in for a day or two together. Stay warm everyone.

I agree Susanlynn, being snowed in can be lovely if you're with someone you love. But if you're missing someone you love then it's dreadful. Cups of tea and a good book aren't strong enough magic to ease that aching grief. But if I could, I'd harness Madre Naturaleza and make her send you sunshine, warmth, Spring flowers and breezy hope. However Mother Nature will just keep on doing her own thing. So instead I'm sending you warm thoughts, lots of love and prayers for strength.

One of the worst jobs I ever had when working for a newspaper was having to call people for information to put in obituaries. One time when I called, the man who answered was so choked up, he asked me to call back later. I hated bothering him, but my editor scared me even more and he WANTED that information (imagine Bobby Knight in a roly poly body. That was my editor.) But anyway, when I called back, the man was happy to tell me all about his lovely wife who had passed away. And explained that he had been looking through old photographs and listening to music they had both loved when I called.

So hoping that your heart can hear the music, even if the power lines are down. And your eyes can see all the love and good times you shared over the years, even if the candlelight is dim.

Judyb...We have never met , but I feel that we know each other. I am trying every day to stay strong and move forward. All my friends and family tell me the same thing " He loved you and would want you to be happy and keep going. " I know. Grief really is the price we Pay for love. I now have to pay that price.

We DO know each other Susanlynn. That is the magic of these CarayCaray patios, isn't it? Checking in here is a very sweet moment in my day. Housework, meal prep and laundry are necessary tasks but not fun (at least for me) and certainly don't feed the spirit.
Connections are what make life meaningful.

Grief IS the price we pay for Love but Love is worth it. That is surely one of the messages of this telenovela, and certainly it is one that we learn every day in our own lives. Hope those grandgirls will be over tomorrow, or Monday for sure. When I'm feeling down, my baby grandson is the one thing that can lift my spirits.

Unfortunately, I will not see them until Wednesday , and I will be hibernating here at home until the roads are clear. It started snowing here about an hour ago. I will try to keep busy.

Is my memory correct? I thought that Johny only wore pastel color suits.

Maybe not.

That would be light blue pastel colored suits.

Hello, everyone and a very belated Happy New Year to you all .
My parents and mom-in-law have been visiting over the Holidays and it's been a few crazy weeks, but I'm trying to play catch-up with the tn.

So Jacobo "kidnapped" Lucia- it was about time! I'm guessing they'll turn on the sexy for the next few episodes and then we'll need to get ready for the doom and gloom.

Yey!! for Renata and Guille, they are so cute they make me smile from ear to ear.

Susanlynn, I'm sending you all the warm hugs that can possibly reach you from across the océan. Stay warm and check back with us.

You guys are covered in snow, over here in Northern France it's mostly cloudy and coooold - no sign of snow, which is for the best because people around here can't deal with icy roads.

Thank you, Jardinera for helping me get up to speed, I hope I can get back in here soon.

To me, it seems as if Televisa is casting only pretty, model-thin actresses and 'easy on the eye' actors. For example, Valentina reminds me of Kate Moss.

Hector in Maru's overweight body is the closest we've come so far to an actor in a less than 'model-perfect' body. IMO, it's hard to take such 'body perfect' actors seriously.

Victoria DGW: I was amazed at the casting of the Maru/Hector character, myself. I suppose it was to expose him to bullying which is what he said he used to do to others. He was the bully and gave grief to others and that was where his popularity and thus his self-worth came from in his other life. I think that's what he whined about to Camilo and why Camilo told Jake he found Hector so hard to take and have to listen to all the time. Hector hasn't learned yet and Muerte may condemn him again. But, as for Televisa, I don't always appreciate their character choices either.
============================================

Adriana Noel: Bienvenu de nouveau! Happy New Year to you, as well! I do love watching Michel Brown in the role. I see him and find it very easy to imagine a younger version of León flirting and successfully wooing his lover/wife/widow all over again. For the life of me I am puzzled in this Novela as to how they'll reckon with her part in tricking Carvajal into marrying her the first time, her feelings for the man known to her as Jacobo, and the truth that she held back in condemning Johny in his murder. What a convoluted mess!

============

Kirby: the X factor in the equation you present is that there are always new generations as viewers.......

Susanlynn: O/T -We all know you here through your wonderfully amusing comments and charming personal stories over the years of having watched these novels together. You must keep coming back so we can all stay connected with you here on the patio! As for me, I am fully done with snow and ice after moving me and the hubster to SW Florida. Yesterday I splurged and took a Western riding lesson as I hadn't been on a horse in years. It was exhilarating and I will go back again--I forgot everything except concentrating on the balance and the wind in my hair (what's left of it). Believe it or not, I have taken up painting the last couple of years (nobody more surprised than myself) as I no longer have a flower garden to putter in. I find I can lose myself and my cares in concentrating on the colors or the lines and the size of the brush stroke, the same way I used to when planting my flower beds and weeding or doing cuttings for bouquets. Something soon will present itself to you as well, I'm sure. But until then, we're all here together and will always be here for you! : > ))

Judy B: OT-You have a wonderful way of coming to the core of reality and making it palatable. ITA and you and the peeps here are my soothing cup of tea. Thank you for your kind words to Susanlynn (and to me as well); you're the resident psychologist here I believe!

Running out of battery so I'll return soon.

Good morning all...just checking in before seeing if I can slide my car down our steep driveway without running into our brick mailbox #notagooddriver We've got snow over ice but I'd like to get to church and be able to take communion to a couple of homebound folks.

Jardinera, so glad that you have found your joy in riding again and in painting (and you know how much I love your creations).

Victoria, the actress playing Valentina is clearly an ectomorph. Growing up she was probably teased for being so thin, but when you look at her long, long extremities...legs, arms, fingers and toes, you just know that's her genetic load.

But here's an interesting fact for people beating themselves up to lose weight....In surveys, of the people who rate themselves as "Very Happy", their Body Weight Index is halfway between overweight and obese.

So all those New Year's Resolutions about losing weight will not necessarily make a person happy. Fulfilling activities, accomplishments, meaningful relationships and altruistic volunteer work probably will.

So let's all relax, have a cookie and then go out there and DO something. I like Mother Teresa who says "do small things with great love".

Love you all (just in case I don't make it down that driveway safely! LOL

Anita, I am enticed by the thought of Jacobo taking over security for the manse.

Good Morning, Patio!

Jardinera, great recap, thank you!

There sure were a lot of "O Sh*t" moments in this episode, but hten we are int he "etapa culminante" phase so I suppose everything has to get set up so that everyone can get a piece of the mess when it hits the fan.

Kirby, you called it about MayeLaStalker...looks like we may have a twist of "Fatal Attraction" here. Makes me wonder if one or more of the writers made a list of their favorite movies and combined them into a screenplay for a TN. We already mentioned "Ghost".

Anita, I worry about Fabricio too. Armenta is not going to take this well and he is ruthless in sending messages. What comes to mind is that Armenta, being the way he is, hasn't done anything to strike back at the Cartel de los Sierra for the massacre at the soccer field.

JudyB, re: Renata and Guille, "Sure hope that Eva and equally bossy Mayela don't ruin it. They're certainly going to try though." I'm sure you're right; those two uppity skanks will probably join evil forces to mkae it virtually impossible for Guille and Renata to be together.

Susanlynn, ((Hugs)) you are never alone; you have us...every day, whenever you need us.

Adriana Noel, nice to have you back! Yeah, LCJ "kidnapped" Lucia as per her order. I'm just wondering how JOhny will react when he doesn't see Lucia at the office..at his beck and call.

Victoria, I agree that only thin characters are being cast for the main roles. Interesting how all the housekeepers (with the exception of Silvina) are pudgy, as is Milgros and Hec-Maru's mom.

Yes, SouthWest Florida is hard to beat. This is what I was doing Friday--------------->>>

Jocobo taking over security is a win-win all the way around, Let Armenta whack Fabric for the car misunderstanding, then Johny's little spy is gone, and he annoys the hell out of me, so he would be out of my hair. This is a TN, he is disposable. And then Jocobo is back in the Bat Cave.

Hello...I have no idea where this story is going or how anyone will have a happy end.

Wow I wish I was on That boat forgetting everything for awhile, kirby.Instead, I am watching the guy plow my driveway . We really did not get much snow and ice, but I don't think that my old Impala could get out of the driveway because the plows piled up snow. Anyway, there will be an $80.00 bill arriving for about 15 minutes of work. #hatewinterforsomanyreasons

Jardinera and Chickie, thanks for the love and support. Judy is a great counselor. Does anyone remember Elna June ? Haven't seen her at caray in a long while.I

Well, I am watching the last Outlander episode again, and there will be a new episode tonight. Gray and cold here , and the temps will drop tonight. I am going to call and chat with two friends , and my sweet cousin Drew has been emailing all day. Nice to reminisce about our shared , carefree youth and the songs we loved and the people we knew.

Are we going to get that bat cave in every telenovela from now on ? The writers seem to love it.

OT..Jardinera, I have done some sketching and painting in the past. then, life got too busy with work and caring for parents and grandchildren .After I had my girls, I took an evening art class at the high school where I used to teach. I did sketches of both my daughters and my nephew when they were little. My older daughter gave me a journal and pastels this Christmas. I started writing in the journal , but I have not opened the pastels.

Kirby, "Jocobo taking over security is a win-win all the way around" Do you really think he'd be considered to take over security? He is after all "just a chaffeur."

KIRBY, your boat looks beautiful. I will imagine being on it with sunshine beating down and the wind blowing my hair. Better than being on one of Jardinera's horses. Not too good at that. But you Florida folks do have the Good Life, can't deny it.#stiffupperlip

OT-Susanlynn--Outlander...Tonight???? I added Starz a year ago just to watch Outlander. Then I ended up waiting for the DVD of the season to become available before watching it. It's just too good not to binge watch. I really would rather watch Jamie in his kilt than in American 18th C. garb (At least he gets to keep his long hair). Talk about making a realistic series out of something that just can't happen. I'm really digging the way the writers are handling AAM in the same vein. It makes you wonder if it can really happen. P.S. Hot chocolate and a cat on the lap helps keep that freezing cold at bay. ((Hugs))

Back to AAM. I can just see it now. The two harpies dig their claws into Renata and tell her she's not "good enough" for Guille. As in true La Traviata fashion, she will leave him and not tell him why. Hopeo Ren's finale is not the same as Violeta's--it's difficult to sing when you are dying.

I wonder if, after Eva is unmasked as a narco-hag, after YO-nee is stripped of his pastel blue suits and clerical collar, after Juls and Val ride off into a lesbian sunset, and Jacobo and Luci meet their deserved ends (together or apart), Guille doesn't step forward to take the helm of Carvajal. He's certainly becoming more self-aware since his brush with real crime (Tono), the pain and suffering of ordinary people (Sr. Castillo), the viciousness of snooty "high class" gals (I'm just looking at you, Mayela), betrayal of his father's principles by his own big sister (Eva), his own privileged status (as pointed out by Jacobo and Renata), that he does the right thing by his father's media conglomerate. OR--he can just sell it to Mateo and Susana and become a gentle hermit and eating Silvina's meals in his room.

If in the way-beyond chance that Beltino manages to get his body back, where is Leon's soul to go next? And, as we've said, over and over, where is Beltran's soul? Will he ever make an appearance? Beltino may find himself in a bigger dilemma if he does become El Chino again. Which wife does he choose? Which child does he choose?

Simple musings on an important football weekend.

OT...Outlander season 4 started awhile ago . Tonight's episode is the second last of this season. It is on at 8pm tonight. The previous episode is shown right before it at 7pm. Outlabder has been the one bright spot for me each week for the last few weeks. There were 13 episodes this season , so only one to go..then reruns. Going down to single digits . My true told me to let the faucet drip in the lower floor powder room. #ihatewinter.

#ihatewinter too. My kids are in Boston and Edmonton (Canada), so I'm certainly not going to pull a surprise visit. Thanks for the info on Outlander. I'll try to catch the repeats. (Don't tell anyone, but I just popped the Wedding episode in my DVD player. It's better than the game.)

Susanlynn!! I forget to tell you earlier—Super Blood Wolf Moon eclipse tonight!

OT..Anita...The Wedding is my all-time favorite episode.

OT..Chickie...I am going to look out the window now before Outlander starts. Thanks. Going down to 5 degrees tonight.

Eva could be new Queen of the South.

GEE. You guys are making me feel very guilty for living in SW Florida!! But at this moment it is 52 degrees here and that is damn cold for us Floridians, It’s amazing how my Northeastern body is so adapted to this climate so that at 50 degrees (right now,) feels uncomfortably cold.

Jardinera—- Reading these recaps has become a favorite way to break away from my sometimes tedious work, Reading your creative summaries and humorous descriptions is surely one of the highlights of my day. ( All the recappers on here are just great)! Thank you thank you!

Though there are some mean and potentially dangerous characters on this show, at least up to now, no super disturbing violence and even torture whcih i have been seeing regularly on Falsa Identidad. Of course, i’m sure this will soon change when Armenta finally looses it completely!

SusanLynn- though im not “connected “as some of your longtime patio friends are and therefore not familiar with your circumstances, it’s clear that you are going through a super hard time, so i thought i would alert you to this short poem that i recently sent to my friend who is in same position as you and she said it was a helpful one You can read it on this page: http://www.colleenhitchcock.com/AscensionProducts/Family/ascension.html

Carole. (AMOT)

Do any of you plan to watch Jugar con Fuego or TRES MILAGROS? Im desperately hoping to find another really good TN since Falsa Identidad ends on Monday and i need a second one besides Amar!! I tried a little of Tenias que Ser Tu but didnt seem to be able to get into it for some reason- too many very familiar themes. If any of you have some inside knowledge about these other two, PLEASE AVÍSAME!!!

Amotelenovelas: Seems it will be shown on Telemundo. The Telemundo group here will cover it.

Gracias, Jardinera. You didn't miss a thing.

LCJ is swimming in emotional quicksand now and it will only get worse. When he learns the truth about Eva he will want to die again.

I anticipate the fur will fly tonight when Eva tries to scare Renata off. I do not see her as a modern Violetta and Guille isn't likely to cave. BTW the other day when he told Renata that he liked her cat I was almost yelling "He's a keeper!"

Barbara should be very afraid now.

Since we all seem to appreciate Columbo I thought I'd share this with you. Wait till you see who is in it!

Thanks for the Colombo video UA. Just saw a minute or two, but you've certainly whetted my interest. Will have more time later to watch.

On the Eva-Renata battle, Guille will have to come to the rescue. Renata has been so indoctrinated into the "they're elite, I'm second-tier" philosophy...plus she needs the employment and the salary. Eva has all the power in this fight unless Guille steps up and rescues his fair damsel.

Yes, JudyB. ITA. re: Eva’s acting in concert with stalker Mayela!!!- -I am hoping to confirm a PRE and POST Guille (spineless vs “having grown a pair” )
AMOT

Mayela really needs to be put in her place. Guille should have told Renata about his confrontation with Mayela. She's gonna get blindsided by Eva and Mayela and that's going to cause issues with Guille.

Jacobo and Lucia's scenes are HOT!! Poor sap when he finds out Lucia knew creepy Johnny had him killed.

Loving the scenes between Valentina and Juliana. They have great chemistry and their flirtatious awkwardness with each other is adorable. I don't see how this relationship is "force fed" at all. They've done an excellent job of showing a growing friendship that's led to something more. Hopefully seeing this relationship can open some people's minds.

Susana better be careful. Although I loved seeing creepy Johnny losing it. Here's to hoping more things don't go his way and his facade starts to crack in front of more people.

Thank you, Carole.

Just to let you guys know that tonight's may be a bit late, as my place is cold today. I will type as long as I can tonight and consider myself lucky if I can finish before morning.

This may be posted late, but I think Jugar con Fuego will be only 10 episodes long.
