Amar a Muerte, 1/29/2019, Episode 60: Pictures Don't Lie

Alt Title: When Johny Comes Stomping In...and Boo-Hoos

Lucho goes crying to Eva that Vale has been acting strange lately and she broke up with him for no reason. He suspected she was cheating on him, but never suspected it would be with a woman. As Eva shakes her head in disbelief, Lucho continues that he has never liked Juliana…she took advantage of Vale when she was the most depressed because of her father’s death. After he guarantees that Vale is no lesbian, Lucho tells Eva that she’d better get Vale away from Juls because if it ever gets out, the sh*t will hit the fan. He continues to rant, but Eva stops him and tells him she will take care of it and talk to Vale…she is used to cleaning up after her family’s messes. Yeah given the barnyard which is your secret life, sister. Eva thanks Lucho for telling her and is sure it won’t get any further; Lucho definitely doesn’t want to tell anyone else. Lucho, good work, your next assignment if you choose to take it...This is a picture of one Alacrán.....Mission Impossible music

At the Carvajal hacienda, Juls and Vale are on their way out when Juls ask Vale if she understands why they have to leave; Vale nods and goes to get into the vehicle as Alirio awaits.

At the company, Johny leaves in a fury. Mayela tries to talk to him, but he just whizzes past her as he stomps off to get to his car. Once in the car, he looks at the photo of LCJ (León/Chino/Jacobo) and Lucía together. He gets his pistol from the glove compartment, makes sure it’s loaded and cocks it before he takes off.

At the Carvajal patio, LCJ and Lucía continue saying sweet nothings to each other as Fabricio continues to record them from behind a tree. Don't quit your day job Fab... After Lucía tells him that he is the best thing that has happened to her in her entire life, LCJ has to leave.   Oh Crap, Inspector Clouseau is popping up everywhere.

Beltrino gets home calling out for Alicia. After Amparo tells him that she is in the bedroom, he goes to find her sitting and watching a video of one of his lectures. As he sits beside her to watch, she is surprised to see him watching so attentively to his lecture on death.

At Silvina’s house, Pancho wonders if Lupita doesn’t think it’s odd that this benefactor appeared in her life so suddenly. After knowing El Chino, Lupita is glad to meet someone who wants to help her without expecting anything back. Pancho thinks she is being naïve and tells her that the man might want something in return. Lupita reminds Pancho that Beltrino is a married man and has a son who is in critical condition….besides he is not one that she met at a bar while assaulting women. Pancho can’t help but think that there is something strange about Beltrino. Intuition or plain old jealously, Panch?

At Cami’s house, Cami reads an email from Hec-Maru. Hec-Maru now understands why he was given a second chance and that is why it’s time that he look to a new life. He finally feels free and is excited about starting a new life in his new body and being an adolescent once again. Cami smiles as he finishes reading and when he looks at a recent photo of Hec-Maru’s neckline…the butterfly is gone! (So I guess we can now call him/her “Maru”!)

Guille and Renata walk out of the building. Guille is carrying a box and is excited because he feels free; he can finally work in the office he wants and has no need for recommendations. Renata admires his enthusiasm; he is so happy whereas she is scared to death of being unemployed. After Guille comments that she is good at what she does…a great secretary; Renata wonders if he knows how long it took her to get the job at the Carvajal Group…it took six months of searching through jobs with lousy salaries. As they talk, Mayela approaches unseen and listens from behind a column. She hears Guille tell Renata not to worry and invites her for some taquitos. After they leave, Mayela walks off looking scornful until she is handed a phone with the video of Vicky announcing that Guille resigned from his job and his family for the love of a secretary. She walks straight to the studio and confronts Vicky asking her why she had to do it. Vicky replies that it was news and wonders if and why Mayela wanted her to hide it. When Mayela responds that they are friends, Vicky reminds her that her show is about show business and Guille is the most wanted bachelor in Mexico. Mayela chides her for doing it for ratings and followers. Anyway, what are Frenemies for, bitch?  Vicky assures her that she has no need for anything…the one who is in need is Mayela since she has to make up a romance with Guille when a real one doesn’t exist. Mayela hisses that she won’t allow Vicky to talk about her in front of these people, but Vicky snarls that she won’t allow Mayela to talk to her in that way when it comes to her job. When Mayela remarks that she thought Vicky was her friend, Vicky reiterates that it is her job…Mayela needs to stop the drama. Meee—YOW!!

Vale and Juls are being driven home when Eva calls Vale and asks where she is. When Vale tells her that she is on the way home, Eva tells her she will meet her there because she needs to talk to her right away. After the call is ended, Vale tells Juls that Eva knows; they are both mucho impactadas.

Mateo storms into Eva’s office. He went to request the purchase documents and he was denied due to orders from the top. He thought it was Lucía, but it was her; he demands to know what is going on!  Ten thousand light bulbs blinked on; Mat, did you finally notice at least one?

Johny is wildly racing over to catch LCJ and Lucía in the act. As he drives, Fabricio keeps sending him images until Johny gets fed up and tells him he “Got it!” Poor phone gets the brunt of it when it’s thrown at the dashboard.

At Eva’s office, Eva responds that Mateo gave her no choice; she had to forbid them from giving him anything. When he asks why he can’t know who is investing in the company, Eva explains that it is for his own good. Mat retorts that he is only doing his job, but Eva orders him to stop the investigation. When Mateo asks if she is protecting Lucía (seriously, DoorMat? Is that the only thing you can come up with….DunceMat!), Eva insists that she is only protecting him…he is getting into very dangerous ground. Mateo counters that he will assume the consequences, but Eva thinks he doesn’t know what he is doing….those criminals will not hesitate if they want to kill him for getting into their business. When she asks if he wants to be another member of the family who gets murdered, Mateo reiterates that he is doing his job; if he has to take the consequences, he will and then they can figure out what to do. After Eva snaps that she doesn’t want to be a young widow, Mateo insists that he has to continue the investigation to see if Lucía is involved. Eva thinks he must want them all to be killed, but Mateo only wants to protect her and the family. Eva pleads that they can’t do things on a whim; they have to think things through. (Give me time to cover my and my boyfriend's tracks a little better.) When she asks him to stop this…for the love he has for her, Mateo sits there like a bump on a log. Eva then gets up because they have to hurry home; she will tell him what’s going on with Vale on the way.  She kissed a girl, you kissed a narco murderer and then some.  Yup, things are grim.

Vale and Juls arrive at Silvina’s house. Vale cries that she doesn’t really want to be there or go home; she wants them to go away to a place where no one can find them. Juls doesn’t want to leave Vale either, but she also doesn’t want to continue hiding. When Juls reminds her that they already knew it would be this way, Vale replies that she thought she would have more time to prepare. Juls tries to calm Vale down and tells her that when she is with her sister to remember the promise they made. Vale cries as Juls gives her a consoling hug. At least you have a sinless Big Sis to keep all you reprobates straight…NOT!

Inside, Pancho and Lupita are conversing when Juls passes quickly by them. Lupita wonders what happened since Juls was supposed to spend the whole day with Vale, but Juls brushes her off and tells her she is fine. Lupita, however, is not convinced.

Eva arrives at the Carvajal house shouting out for Vale. When Silvina tells her she hasn’t arrived yet, Eva tells her to let her know as soon as she arrives. Mateo quickly enters. Eva wants to go upstairs, but Mateo has to make some calls. Eva insists that he not get into what shouldn’t be his business, but Mateo persists…he can’t just stay with his arms crossed. As they argue, Lucía approaches so they both shut up quickly.

Outside, LCJ is talking to Cami who is telling him that Maru called to say farewell. Cami has no idea where Maru is going, but the most important thing is that Maru sent him a photo of her neck and the butterfly was gone. He has been trying to call her, but she won’t answer. As they talk, LCJ sees that Maru is calling him; so they end the call.

Alicia and Beltrino arrive at the hospital. After thanking Octavio and Cristina, his wife, for taking care of Javier, Alicia gets an update on how well Javier is doing while Beltrino ambles to the door. Octavio goes to him and tells him he should be happier since his son is reacting well to the treatment. After Beltrino tells him he has a lot on his mind, Octavio invites him for coffee so they can talk, but Beltrino wants something stronger, like tequila.

Guille gets home and asks to talk to LCJ. They sit on the stairs as Guille tells LCJ that he quit the Carvajal Group because of Eva; he was fed up and they have different ways of thinking. When he continues that the only reason he started working there was because Eva made him do it, LCJ reminds him that it is what his father left for him…he could have waited. Guille interrupts and tells LCJ that is exactly what his father would tell him; he would always feel pressured by his father to work at the company. That is why he allowed Eva to force him to work there…because, in the back of his mind, he would always hear his father tell him that he had to work at the company. As they talk, Eva interrupts and remarks that it seems so easy for Guille to say that when he is living there at home. LCJ gets up to leave, but Eva tells him to wait; this will be quick. Eva continues to chide Guille since he pays off his debts with his father’s money. She doesn’t understand what he is trying to prove with what he’s doing. When Guille is confused as to what she means, Eva smirks as she tells him that he wouldn’t last a month living “out there” if he really wants to face life the way he intends to do so. Guille takes out his credit cards and, as he tells Eva that he will show her what he thinks of the cards and his father’s money, he throws the cards into the fire. LCJ tries to stop him, but Eva tells LCJ to let him do what he wants…he is only having a tantrum. Guille calmly tells Eva to stop playing the role of the mother; if she is feeling guilty about being a bad sister and an even worse daughter, that is not his problem. After he tells her to focus on her marriage which needs much attention, Eva won’t let him bring Mateo into this. Guille thinks she is an embittered woman, and she is poisoning everything around her. After he adds that, since their father’s death, Lucía has been a much better mother than she has, Guille poses that Eva is embittered because she would have liked to be…him…the son of León Carvajal. LCJ remembers his speech when he told Eva that he was proud of her, but he told Guille that they were one. Guille tells Eva to fix her own life and walks off. Don't let your opinions of her sink too low fellows, you need to save the last hundred fath oms for when you catch her and Alacran with the Carvajal money.

At the bar, Beltrino tells Octavio that it’s no use talking because he won’t believe him. After Octavio tells him that he can’t help him if he doesn’t know what is going on, Beltrino explains that the person Octavio sees is not him. After Beltrino recounts what happened after the accident, Octavio is in disbelief; so Beltrino tells him that he found something there at the hospital that proves what he is saying…he saw a man who has his body…the one that is truly his. Octavio takes a swig of tequila still in disbelief so Beltrino starts laughing and asks if he fell for it.  If nothing else El Chino is a quick thinker.

At the Carvajal home, Johny storms in past Silvina who tells him that Lucía is in her bedroom. When he charges into Lucía’s bedroom, Lucía starts to tell Johny that he should have knocked, but Johny is not up for any BS. He needs her to tell him to his face what is happening with the chauffeur. After Lucía tells him that it’s ridiculous that he insists with that, Johny pulls out his phone and shows her the picture. Lucía feels a trickle down her leg…

Lucía asks where he got the picture, (Photoshop, maybe, please?) but Johny retorts that that is not important. What’s important is that he is standing before her and wants to know what is going on. When Lucía replies that it’s complicated, Johny insists that she tell him to his face that she is having something with the guy.   Johny, that is what c o m p l i c a t e d  means.

At a park, LCJ goes to meet with Maru who tells him that everything is fine…and he can stop calling her Hector. She continues that Maru is a nice name…once she got used to it; and that her challenge will be to get used to her new life. When LCJ mentions that Cami told him that the butterfly was disappearing, Maru tells him that it completely disappeared…and shows him…  Like the twelve steps to be butterfly free.

In Lucía’s bedroom, Lucía tries to explain. She did everything to avoid it…but she fell in love. Johny turns around with a hateful, scorned look and pulls out his gun. Lucía pleads, “Johny, No! No! Don’t do something stupid, please!” He puts the gun to his mouth, but when Lucía cries and asks him not to do it, he puts the gun down and grabs her head telling her, “I’m so sorry you fell in love, my love.” His tone changes to one of anger and spite as he continues, “But at this same moment, you will fall out of love. I don’t know how; but from this moment forward, Jacobo is out of our lives!” When he hisses, “Is that clear?” Lucía is mortified as Johny steps away from her.  Ha ! Speak for yourself parson. Maybe out of her life but still in her pants runner-up.

At the school, LCJ can’t believe that Maru’s butterfly just disappeared from one day to the next. Maru didn’t understand it either until it dawned on her that that was why she was given a second chance. She explains that in her previous life (as Hector), she never experienced what if felt like to help someone; now that she experienced it, she liked it…she felt liberated. LCJ sarcastically comments that she went and helped some student at school and, just like that, everything was resolved. Maru adds that it wasn’t just that; she got to understand her wife, her son, and even Dora, Maru’s mother. She found out that she was wrong; and when she understood that, she felt so much peace. LCJ doesn’t know what to think; he thought he had come back to resolve his family’s problem, but now he thinks he came back to punish those who made a fool of him. Maru responds that he shouldn’t be so sure about that; she thought the same thing…that she came back to get her family back at all costs regardless of what would happen. She realized that she was wrong; she needed to let go. LCJ believes he has nothing to let go of; he just needs to make those people pay. After Maru wishes him good luck, LCJ asks that they meet with Cami one more time to try to understand, but Maru doesn’t think she needs more tests…the butterfly is gone…it went its way and she is going her own way. Maru is very glad to have met him and wishes him much peace. As she walks away with her luggage, LCJ watches…as does Death Chick who smiles as she stands behind a bush.

In Lucía’s bedroom, Johny sits crying as he rubs his forehead with the pistol. Lucía tells him that they have been through so much...hard times. She asks him to understand that it was something she could not control; she fell in love. When he tells her to forget LCJ, Lucía can’t; she wants to leave all this crap and go away with LCJ. Johny snaps and points his gun at her. He pushes her on to the bed and gets on top of her telling her that they are what’s most important. He then gets off of her as he cries that he forgives her; he rambles on that she shouldn’t worry; everything will be fine because he will take care of this…he swears he will take care of this and leaves in a frenzy. Lucía is tormented at the thought of what Johny will do. Johny stomps out and goes to look for Fabricio to ask for LCJ. Fabricio replies that LCJ left, but should be returning soon. Meanwhile, LCJ is still at the park walking to the vehicle. As he thinks about his conversation with Maru, he gets a pain in his neck and his butterfly bleeds.

At the Carvajal house, Vale arrives and calls over Silvina telling her not to talk to too loud. After Silvina tells Vale that Eva is in her bedroom, Vale tells her not to tell Eva that she is there and goes up to see Guille. When she enters Guille’s room, she sees that he’s packing; so he tells her that he is moving out…he wants to live his life the way he wants to live it. When he adds that he wants to prove to the world that he can make it on his own, Vale thinks he is wrong…he can’t leave the house. When she asks what his problem is, Guille snaps back that Eva is the problem; he is fed up with her telling them what to do and trying to control them. After he tells her everything that happened and that he and Renata are going to start from zero since they both resigned, Vale comments that she thought that only her life was complicated. Vale tells him how Lucho caught her and Juls and then went and told Eva. She hasn’t talked to Eva yet; she is panicking. Guille remarks that that is what Eva has to understand; that each one can live their life how they want. He adds that Vale has to find what makes her happy and follow that regardless of what Eva or the entire world says. Vale understands and supports him, but tells Guille that he can’t leave her. Guille is sorry…he has already decided. (If Eva had a buttterfly she would have bled to death weeks ago.)

At the bar, Octavio is shocked since Beltrino was never able to handle tequila. Beltrino smirks as he tells Octavio that he isn’t his friend; he is someone else. They both laugh as Octavio tells him that he at least has the same sense of humor. After Octavio leaves, Beltrino stays for one more shot. As a waiter approaches him, Beltrino sees him as himself (El Chino). After the waiter makes a comment and turns around, Beltrino goes to him and grabs him to turn him back around, but it is no longer his face.  Tequila does that to me sometimes too.

At the Carvajal home, Vale drums up the courage to go talk to Eva. After Eva tells her that Lucho went to talk to her and that she hopes it isn’t true…Vale doesn’t like women, Vale walks up to Eva and tells her straight out that she likes Juls. Eva thinks she is incoherent since Eva knows her well and she has always had boyfriends….she is not a homosexual. When Eva asks who Juls is and who introduced her to Juls, Vale thinks that isn’t important, so Eva argues that she is sure that Juls is only trying to get something out of Vale. They get into a shouting match until Eva tells Vale that she knows that their father’s death affected all of them and Vale is confused because of her depression. Vale insists that she is not depressed; she is in love with Juls! Eva yells that Vale is a Carvajal and she will not allow Vale to be in that relationship. When she orders Vale to tells Juls that she will not be allowed in that house or the house in the valley, Vale cries as she responds, “Just because you are the older sister doesn’t give you the right to tell me or Guille what to do. Do you not realize what is happening? Guille left the company and the house! Do you want me to leave too? You are going to stay alone, Eva!” As Vale walks off, Eva follows her asking her to think about what people will say. When Eva asks if Vale has told her school friends, Vale responds that she hasn’t told them, but they won’t react as Eva did because they aren’t squares. Eva insists that she will not allow Juls to come into their home. After Eva brings up that their father would be very disappointed in her, Eva sees that Vale will not change her mind; she hopes that Vale won’t regret it because the one who will end up alone is Vale.  Sis, it will soon just be you, Mateo, Silvina, and Alacrán living there.

Downstairs, LCJ comes into the kitchen where Lucía is waiting for him. She grabs him and takes him into the pantry where she tells him that Johny found out about them. LCJ is glad. When Lucía tells him how Johny found out, LCJ is still glad that Johny found out, but Lucía insists that Johny took it badly and is very aggressive. After she tells LCJ that he needs to leave from there because Johny is looking for him, LCJ tells her he isn’t afraid of him, but Lucía believes he should be because Johny has a gun. LCJ isn’t going to leave; he is no coward and he hasn’t done anything wrong. When Lucía explains that, for Johny, this is a betrayal, LCJ points out that she is a widow and she is old enough to make her own decisions about who she wants to live with for the rest of her life. After she pleads with him to leave because Johny is very agitated, LCJ asks her if Johny is aggressive enough to kill out of jealousy. Lucía replies that yes, Johny is capable of many things. LCJ stills doesn’t want to leave, but when Lucía begs him to leave, LCJ agrees to leave…but only if she goes with him.

Wowser! Hot, fast, great recap, Chickie. Thank you.

andy

Right on title Rgv Chick and a great recap, full of sassy comments and observations, my favorite of which was:

(If Eva had a buttterfly she would have bled to death weeks ago.)

Yes, I would call this the Eva Eva Eva chapter. She was all over the place obstructing the truth and trying to manage reality the way her "classista" outlook tells her it should be.

Mind you, we all have a bit of that. We want Life the way we want it, and when it doesn't work out we usually take it pretty hard. But somewhere along the way we learn we can't make people or life perform the way we want. Eva is still wielding a cudgel to try and make everything go her way.

The show didn't record for me last night (Anita warned us but I didn't listen!) so especially grateful for the recap. Methinks there's trouble ahead if Guille and Renata no longer have an income or jobs. Darn, wanted to enjoy the Happy Middle for a while longer.

Where are my manners? Forgot to thank you for the great screencaps too. You captured the pivotal moments and the high emotions. La Santa Muerte is looking very proud of her little Maru. I do find myself wondering how an adolescent on her own with ho home, and with no papers is going to manage in today's society but what the heck, it's a STORY. Relax and enjoy.

Wow Thank You Ms. Chik for another rockem sockem recap. So it is Boo Hoo Wah ! Wah ! Johny when somebody else is petting his kitty kat? The same Johny we have seen at the hookahouse? Funny how one way that is. But to sit on the floor and cry? Death Chick needs to go ahead and give him his Buttterfly early.

And how did LCJ decide he is not a coward for not avoiding some crazy guy with a loaded gun who wants to kill him ….again.

These Mexicans are pretty lenient on guns I guess. You go storming through someone's house with people everywhere (let's don't forget service people in almost every room) waving a gun around here, and you got company pretty soon.

I, along with Death Chick it appears, am still impressed with Maru. It is unfathomable what she is going to do out in the world alone as a teenager, but she had on her happy face makeup last night and was ready to give it a whirl. Good for her.

I had thought that the deal was when you had tidyed up all your loose ends, you were called back, as in Santos case. So I had believed that any transmigrant was only a temporary state. IE: Leon LCJ and his preoccupation with how much time is left. But in Maru's case, the repair seems to be permanent.
And this sheds a totally new light on LCJ and his talk of getting married and running away, though I believe it is still just talk.

Mayela is as unpleasant as Keila(s) legs are pleasant to see. Her little chat with her Frenemy Vicky was sort of fun. So does Mayela have any friends left? Oh Eva, I forgot about her. She can hook her up with some of Alacran's helpers. Double date! Pizza and Movie, Yipee.

Mateo is so stupid, a pet rock is smarter and more interesting. Or any one of RGV's chickens or acrobatic goats.

Brrrr.

Kirby: I see Vale stood her ground with Eva by calling her out.

Plus why is Death Chick smiling ?

Thank you, Rgv Chick, you were right on the money describing Eva's tirades all over town. Oh, that poor husband of hers - between he and old Leon it is hard to tell who is more stooopid (since we've past gullible some 10 capitulos ago).
And talking about Leon, I agree with you, Kirby, that Maru's faith actually gives him a glimpse of hope that he might not die after all. The only problem is the guy has to figure out what is the right thing to do. I still see no great involvement from him when it comes to out of the closet Val, homeless Guille and out of her mind Eva.

That was meant to be Maru's fate, sorry !

Death Chick is smiling because Hector in his new body and situation as Maru, changed his pigheaded ways and decided that his former family's happiness was actually more important than his selfish interest in owning and controlling them. He stopped that dumb stuff and realized live and let live has a profound new literal meaning.

Adrianna, Leon has been very Fatherly with Vale and Guille. He watched a 'moment' with Vale and Juls from his BatCave without seeming overly concerned. And he has those nice Father-Son chats with Guille now and again. Those don't really atone for his apparent almost neglect of them in his past life. But it is a start. But he is still sidetracked by a little thing his daughter's age rather than his family. And THE SAME GIRL. Crap !

Eva is a whole 'nother story entirely. I am not sure Leon is to blame for the train wreck she has turned out to be. Like we have noticed before, sometimes there are just bad seeds, and it doesn't take much manure to make them germinate. When her deeds come to light I have no clue what he should do.

Good day, Patio! Thanks for stopping by Andy, JudyB, Kirby, Steve and Adriana.

Andy, good to see you dropping in more often.

JudyB, "La Santa Muerte is looking very proud of her little Maru. I do find myself wondering how an adolescent on her own with ho home, and with no papers is going to manage in today's society" I wondered the exact same thing! Maru may have Hector's knowledge and experience as a teacher, but that won't get her a job. And yes, this episode was full of Eva who is full of it and spreading it all around. I wonder if she was this bossy when Leon was around...or is she trying to fill her father's shoes; and is she is, was he just as authoritarian and demanding?

Kirby, I was really shocked to see Johny crying and having a tantrum like a child who has been given a lollipop only to have it taken away. ...oooh how I was hoping that gun would go off when he was pointing it to himself!

Death Chick vs. Santa Muerte??? When the show first started, we all assumed the two were one in the same. Now, with Maru's transformation, it is highly unlikely that the woman is the Santa Muerte since the Santa Muerte is the "saint" that evil people pray to for help in doing their bad deeds. Maru's transformation was a result of acceptance (that her family was happy without Hector) and helping others. No evil in that!

Adriana, yes, (door)Mat is beyond being gullible. The guy is a reporter and is trained to distinguish between the truth and LIES; how can he not see all the guilty, gotta get out of this corner, looks that Eva gives when he talks about his investigation and the barriers she puts up to keep him from getting closer to the truth.

It would be awesome if Mateo asks Susana for help with his investigations ... SHE is smart and objective and not easily pushed around. SHE will figure out it is Eva who's working for/with Alacran. Not to mention she will find out about the fringe benefits Eva is getting from him.

Anon 3:08 Great idea. And do reporters ordinarily not tell the law enforcement when they find something very very bad? Or do they want to wait and break their story without any interference? I do not know, as news and LE are areas where I am clueless. (by choice)

So sorry I couldn't get in on the conversation earlier.

RGV Chick--You know how I feel about your recaps. Fantastic! Thank you for last night, especially, because I really couldn't understand everything that Luci and Johny were saying to each other. Once I had your recap in hand, it was easy to follow the dialog.

JudyB--Thank you for the quote on the lottery girl yesterday. I will fix it for posterity.

I "happened" to be browsing through old episodes and ran across Santos' death. Beltran found him and noticed his tattoo was gone. Then he ran into the bathroom to look for his own, which was still there. So Death Chick can be capricious. She takes Santos' soul on his trip to the light and leaves the body dead, while Hec-Maru's disappears after she has her little birding experience but keeps the body.

I hope we'll be seeing Mateo opening his eyes to Eva's nefarious movements. He should try hiring the P.I. Eva hired to follow Luci, back when, and see what Eva does in her spare time. It wouldn't take long for him to find she does a lot of hotel hopping.

Kirby--Of course it had to be LCJ's plan all along for Johny to find out about them, one way or another--whether she was in love with him or not NOR whether he had fallen for her again. Remember in the first Sex on the Desk scene, he tried to keep kissing her when he knew Johny was approaching the despacho? Can't wait for tonight.

Susanlynn--Stay warm tonight. I think we are about the same latitude. We had snow yesterday, too, but stayed mainly on the plains and not the streets and sidewalks. My house is freezing. Can't push the heat above 65. My fingers are stiff. Tomorrow is going to be incredibly frigid.
