Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 97, Tuesday, January 29, 2019; Neto’s Deportation Begins
Labels: mimarido2
I also laughed at Yolo. I was that way at her age. I was so embarrassed with anything Mexican and I detested mariachi music. I'm not that way anymore. :)
Wow! It seems in Osoriolandia an ICE agent is really judge, jury, and executioner as well as a cop of sorts. Good thing they didn't have a portable electric chair with them.
I laughed back when Imelda wanted a wall built, paid for by Crisanta, but it's getting very political now.
Those ICE guys are nasty, but at least they speak Spanish with a better accent than the crazy Mexicans.
:-)
:-)
:-)
I don't want to say too much for fear of stepping on someone's political toes and starting an argument, but the current immigration situation is quite sad. Suffice it to say that if Mexico could raise the living standards, and not just for the top stratum, then Mexicans would be more like Canadians, only coming here for plum acting jobs.
Dani looks very sad, but certainly still very pretty, just different than before. I hope she cheers up soon. I hope somebody cheers up soon or all these sad stories will plunge me into depression.

Your spot on comments "[Kind of like Snow White, after the witch gave her the poison apple.]" and "[I think these “papers” are called a birth certificate]" were my favorites.
So Guido had his nasty little hands on the restaurant...I can't wait for his comeuppance. Such a despicable little worm.
So Neto and his family are uprooted and destined for Mexico. No spoiler but I suspect he will soon be in the orbit of the "family".
"It seems in Osoriolandia an ICE agent is really judge, jury, and executioner as well as a cop of sorts" was on the mark andy.
Is it just me but I am suspecting Diana. She seemed cool and rather disenfranchised from what was going on. She is seething she lost her job and is blaming Sebas and Hugo. Hugo seems genuinely upset and I don't think Sebas had anything to do with this. But what was in that apple? I don't see Diana really capable of hurting anyone but...
I hope Eugenio tells Blanca soon as his condition is becoming more obvious every day.
And yes poor Frida!" Xavi Galan’s world tour is never ending" had me smiling Jarifa.
I adore Dani. And yes, of course she is beautiful. I felt that her lavender hair just softened her a bit and I miss that.
I think Grecia must have a sad backstory. I did the tattoo but didn't see it long enough to register what it was...
Just a matter of time till Massimo gets caught. I hate to say it but he really seems to prefer Imelda. As her husband did despite being with Cris 50 years. I don't get it.
This was great - thank you Cynthia.
Diana
We are all glad that Neto and his children are coming to Mexico. The American Dream has turned into nightmare for so many, many souls.
Yes you are correct about Mexico being considered in North America - at least as far as the UN is concerned. But local usage varies greatly on how the terms is applied. Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia's latest entry:
"The United Nations formally recognizes "North America" as comprising three areas: Northern America, Central America, and The Caribbean. This has been formally defined by the UN Statistics Division.[12][13][14]
The term North America maintains various definitions in accordance with location and context. In Canadian English, North America generally refers to the land mass as a whole consisting of Mexico, the United States, and Canada, although it is generally ambiguous which other countries are included, and is mostly defined by context.[15][16][17] In the United States of America, usage of the term may refer only to Canada and the US, and sometimes includes Greenland[18][19][20] and Mexico (as in the North American Free Trade Agreement),[19][21][22][23][24] as well as offshore islands."
I think it's better to refer to all non USA countries as being part of Latin America, based not on geography but language.
I'm with Andy, this show right now is not for people vulnerable to depression. And with our wind chills today, count me in that category! But the folks in Oxaca need a breath of fresh and muy caliente air and looks like it's going to be our hunky Gabriel Soto. Works for me!
Loved the recap and the screenshots. Storyline not so much.
"I think it's better to refer to all non USA countries as being part of Latin America, based not on geography but language. " So.... Canada? 😉
Difficult raid, indeed, to watch by ICE workers. I doubt they are raiding like that in real life, but AFAIK anyone arrested for a crime and without proper papers gets deported..
Diana - Your theory about Diana being the school culprit is brilliant. The problems started after Hugo's crazy unrealistic appointment as principal of the school. Makes perfect sense to me. But, Yeesh, another psycho in the family? Gimmeabreak. 🙄
Ah, Yolo, she will be Linda v2.0
My telenovela beanie hat is strapped on my head, with aluminum foil lining in place. Seriously, I think the season #2 writers' contracts expired when Robert & Julieta's did and the monkey writers have been brought in. 🍌🍌🍌
Well, I hope that these new characters will bring brighter storylines.
Grecia seems to a kind of Mary Poppins for adults riding into town out of the blue to help everyone with their varied and sundry problems.
It is bright and sunny here today after yesterday's day of snow . We only got about 4 inches. Today they are predicting some kind of snow squall .
Our temperatures are dropping. It is only 20 right now. Zero tonight.
Okay, the guy who plows my driveway is here. #ihatewinter
The hunky Neto should cheer things up, although his teen daughter will have the opposite effect. It's a real benefit to be able to follow the action with the recaps and comments.
Susanlynn and all of you in the super cold areas--stay safe and warm through this arctic blast. We are getting some of the cold in NC, but not as much as further north.
Here in San Antonio, TX., it's currently 48 right now & feels like 43.
It's nuts the way they portray ICE but oh well a new storyline is welcome. Yay, Soto is in the house. I vote he and Grecia hit it off.
Doris: I agree concerning Grecia!
