Ay yi yi, PRINCESS JUJU...Hope that whatever is rocking your world in a bad way will be resolved soon. These are tough days all the way around, and of course with a family, there is ALWAYS something.

All I can remember right now from yesterday was thinking--If Franco says "Calmate" or "Tranquilo" one more time, I'm going to put a bullet through his brain. I'm not sure what they're going for with the dynamic between him and Alba. It seems to be patterned on the old Spencer Tracy/Katherine Hepburn model where she's all feisty and impulsive, and he's amused and bent on calming her down like she's a foolish but adorable child. That was cute back in the day, but now it just raises my hackles. Alba playing a stupid and overly emotional female to his wise and all-knowing superior male doesn't charm me at all.

As for chemistry--I still see more heat between Bianca and Gael than between any of the other couples. Natalia and Paolo are soporific. Her face seems so wooden (albeit lovely) as a single tear drifts down her perfect cheek. Or a single drop of snot slowly falls out of her lovely nostrils (yesss, that did happen yesterday) And he's just a big, sulky toddler.

And jeez Dude, talk about being selfish! You refuse to accept the donation of a wheel chair, meaning your guy pals have to carry you to the bathroom every time you need to go? Just ridiculous.

The scenes between Roberta and her would-be hunky lover were just. too. weird. Is he some kind of masochist, getting off on being mistreated? Really really strange. I must say though Roberta is the most intriguing Crazy I've watched in a long time. Daniela Castro is ripping up the curtains with this role.

Thanks for kicking us off, Judy! I, too, was mesmerized by Natalia's lip-drip. Beyond weird.

But we're really cracking along the bingo card, with "GUN FIRED" last night -- at my favorite character, so that was a looooong commercial break! But he and Bianca were so cute afterward, I have to include part of their conversation:

G: After getting shot, I look at things differently. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone waiting for me at home? But there's no one.

B: You have, what, 30 women on your contacts list? Maybe 40? I'm sure you call one of them and she'll arrive in no time.

G: And if delivery takes more than half an hour, is she free?
 

Ooooh, thanks for mentioning that BLUE LASS! I love Gael and I love all his saucy conversations with Bianca. I hope these two end up together.

I love romance HEA stories and the "slow burn" types are my favorites. This must be why I'm seated at the Bianca &Gael table when I'm not flopping around at the #frustratedwithNatalia table.

I am at the Gael\Bianca table. I have always loved this actor throughout the years in many shows. The actress playing Bianca looks familiar , but I cannot remember where i have seen her . Is she crushing on Alba , or will she end up with Gael?

Poor Natalia. It is so hard to look hot with a runny, snotty nose. Allergy season probably dims a lot of romances. However,I am wondering if everybody staying home will result in a lot of babies in nine months...let's see...that would be December.

My friend 's daughter is getting close to having her baby and another friend is having surgery today, so they are both in my prayers...as are all of you. Has anyone hard from Andy ?????

Jimmy Fallon suggested we all step outside at 3.00 today to ring a bell or bang on a pot to pay tribute to all those who are trying to help us through this scary time.

By the way, what have you been doing to try to get through these weird days ?

Am I the only one who cheated after Gael got shot and looked up how many episodes he was in? It was a relief to see him back. I wish he'd taken a picture of the perp so he could show Paolo.

Thanks, Judy and Doris, for asking. All is fine at my casa after the earthquake. Some things had fallen on the floor, but no biggie. Some of the city's buildings now have cracks and some windows were blown out. One funny thing (for a non-Mormon in Utah) is that Angel Moroni who sits atop the big temple lost his trumpet! It has spawned lots of memes and added some levity to some otherwise depressing times.
 

Rosemary....so glad that all is well with you. When my son in law worked on one of the top floors of a new high rise building in Toronto, he said the building would away a bit when it was very windy . Yikes.
 

Yes, Susanlynn, you can feel seasick up on one of those tall buildings. Rest assured, that swaying is a sign of structural soundness in it's ability to withstand seismic energy and high winds!

Such a funny scene when Roberta just shows up at Ingrid's house. Those two together! I didn't get the dialogue about how she once dated a boy from a good family. Was she referring to Franco, or maybe the guy under the bed?
 

Hola everyone--
So nice to see our group hanging together. RLO, I forgot all about the earthquake until I heard about it days later. Our ONE earthquake here in this region in recent memory happened while I was on vacation. That's the one that damaged the Washington Monument and the Washington Cathedral. The Monument had to be closed for years and private funding was needed to repair it. The Cathedral kept its doors open.

Ok, Gael got shot and he and Bianca are cute together. I'm more worried about what he will do about filing a report with the police. What WAS Julian doing out there with that thug? The reason wasn't very believable.

Wasn't the showdown between Natalia and Julian just to die for? She didn't turn to jelly and she was so right that had she taken him to a hospital right away he'd be able to walk. That tid bit was a bit of a plot propeller because that "observer" who saw the crash could have called an ambulance right away and an ambulance would have come in just about the same time as Nat calling. Surely she wouldn't have tried to lift him into her car and driven him herself. That alone, with a spinal injury, would have left him paralyzed.

I wish Franco had walked in even 1 minute before to see Julian manhandling her. She did give as good as she got this time and didn't crumple.

Hope Gabe can keep his wits about him. He seriously needs to order from GrubHubby for his meals. Having gotten drugged and proven, should give him a lot to worry about coming from his Tia. In a way, I'm glad he has his Julieta. She at least seems to be a voice of reason and neutral to both parties and injecting some sage advice, being a mother and putting herself in Alba's place. The mom and the tia are just too volatile. I'm surprised Gabe is so calm himself.

I don't understand Roberta at all. All of a sudden she has a flash of conscience and doesn't want to roll around with Tizanio, or whatever his name was? Wasn't that her only purpose, to get inseminatedby someoe who had some class?


Why the need to "take it slow" and then change her mind. Poor Tizzy. It was obvious he ran to see her without taking care of his sweet young thongs. He wasn't interested in rekindling an old love affair. He wanted a free quicky. He did offer to slow down--as long as they met in a different location. He thought this one smelled bad.

I was thinking too much garlic in the air, but you can never have enough garlic. It was more likely Ingrid's heavy cheap perfume. Ole Nose Hair should step up to the occasion and start giving Ingrid some gifts--like some new clothes and a trip to a beauty salon.
 

RLO--Funny, yes, and did anyone wonder why Roberta arrived with a rolling suitcase? At first I thought she was giving away more of her outfits to "soften" up Ingrid. Did Franco not see the suitcase when he and Alba arrived? And why would Franco swallow the story that Bertie was there, just waiting for Ingrid, in the middle of her bedroom. As a guest, wouldn't it be logical for her to wait in the living room or sit at the table with a cup of coffe?
 

Anita, no way was that the smell of garlic; Ingrid would have to flee from that! Does she smoke? If not, it had to have been either sulphur (as in The Devil) or cheap perfume.

Julian was probably there to not only pay off the thug but to discuss Next Steps. He will not stop until Paolo is thoroughly demoralized or dead, whichever happens first.

I doubt Roberta had any conscience about this plan. I think she realized she can't control this man. He wants more than she is willing to give. She had ditched him for Franco back in the day and she wants to hold onto Franco rather than have any real relationship with him.

Alba will find out about Julieta pretty soon. Julieta is also likely to be Ingrid's next murder victim.

Interestingly, Gael also supposedly smokes, but I don't think we've ever seen him do it.
 

Yes, Ingrid is a smoker, which for plot purposes made it easy for her to whip out her lighter and torch the manicomio.

Does anyone know approximately what time Univisión uploads this novela to its App? It seems to be later in the day even though this novela airs in the afternoon. With the nighttime novelas, Univisión is usually pretty quick to upload them shortly after they air, except on Fridays.

I still can't believe that they cut out the cuss words, but leave all the sex scenes in for all at-home kiddies to see.

Tiziano has to be as loco as Roberta if he loves her. Love the manscaping job on him, though.

Irina Baeva is proving herself here. Playing Daniela in PyP must have been more fun but here Natalia is more than a shallow mall rat.
 

The yelling match between Natalia and Julian was great! Man I wanted to reach through my screen and rip his head off. Did anyone else notice the little tongue thing he did and that the side of his tongue was red and swollen? Maybe he bit off more than he could chew going against Natalia here.

Except for Alejandro Bones, as Johny in 'Amar a muerte' and José Elías Moreno, as Alberto LaFont in Pasión, I don't think I've disliked a character as much as I dislike Pedro Moreno, as Julian. Even Chisca didn't come close.
