Imperio de Mentiras #12, 10/6/20: Corralled Or Shootout At The OK Para-Dario

·         Majo returns to the locked gate at Dario's mother's manse. (Dare the new, not-so-scario de Dario, hope against hope at the reason why??)  Majo tells him she's not leaving till he explains why he didn't kill her.  He replies he couldn't harm her.  He's fallen in love with her.  She then admits she feels the same way about him.  She's in love with him.  Dario takes her into his arms and lands a major liplock that, combined with the background score, is thrilling enough to curl her toes--and it looks like that goes for him too.

·         Meanwhile, Elisa is knocking on Fernanda's door since Fer has left her outside lights on.  (Viewerville guesses down Mexico way that means they're still accepting visitors.)  But Fer is in the middle of having a major convo with none other than murderous Tio Eugenio, yep and in the flesh!  Double Ruh-Rohhhh! He whispers that she needs to get rid of Elisa so he can get out of the place.  (What??? There's no back door in this building?)  Ok.  Fer's got her work cut out for her because Elisa is tired and sticks like a wad of melty parking lot chewing gum.  Elisa explains she's supposed to be in Ciappas tonight so she cannot go home.  The idea was to avoid Victoria's taking a flight to Nueva Yorrrrrk the next morning to learn that Majo really never got there and has been kidnapped.  In fact, Elisa admits that she doesn't know how much longer she can keep pulling the wool over Mama's eyes.

·         In the other room, Geño hears Elisa tell about the two kidnappers whose bodies were found in the woods along with Majo's purse, but also that there was no Majo.  Seems that Daddy's case is related to the murders and Majo's kidnapping.  They were then able to track back to the safe house where they'd kept Majo, but it was totally empty.  Elisa starts towards the bedroom that Geño's hiding in.  Fer stops her and complains she's dying of hunger and they should go get something to eat since the proverbial cupboard is bare.  Elisa isn't hungry. “-- Well, then let's go for a bottle of wine.”

·         At Dario's homestead, Majo mentions how, at first, she was frightened of him but now he's scared of her and she wants to know why.  He explains he is a bad hombre and she's a fool to stick with him.  She says down deep she knows he is not the horrible person he believes he is. He disagrees and explains he is a hired gun; he's paid to kill people!  He was paid to kill her, and he betrayed his boss to save her.  Now he's the one who is going to be killed.  And, if she stays with him, they'll kill her also. "--I would prefer to keep you far away and safe.  Do you understand me?"  She clings to him and says no way will she go.  Not gonna happen.

·         Back at Fern's, Elisa realizes now that Fern is preoccupied and all nervous nellie so Whazzup?  Fernanda denies it.  She says she's just got chills up and down from the hideous news.  No, she's not expecting a soul tonight.  She then gets a threatening IM from Geño to hurry things up or she'll be sorry.  Fern tells Elisa somebody has hit her car.  She loaned it to somebody(?) and it's been in an accident.  Oh, so they’ll have to go out to see about that.

·          Geño tries calling Dario but must leave a voice mail.  He sets up a meet and suggests he believes that he's done away with Majo by now.  The gals are finally going. They head for the front door and apparently Tio is about out from under his 'lio'.

·         Leslie must now tell her Abuelita why she's skipped school: there was a boy involved.  She thought he really cared for her and he invited her to watch movies at his home.  They later ended up in his bedroom where they did the Big "IT".  Turns out the kid recorded it and then uploaded it to the net or something like that. All the kids at school have seen it. (Ok.  We got the kid on distribution of porn, statutory rape and probably gawd knows what else, but he'll probably get a major league mouthpiece and go scott free.)  FF>>FF>>

·         At Vicki's manse, Renata answer's Marcelo's phone.  Says Gymnasium calling, so…  Sonia starts griping about him standing her up.  When Ren tries getting her name, Sonia freaks and hangs up fast. (Ok.  Beanie time--we must consider that Ren, after all this time, still doesn't recognize Sonia's voice.)  Renata questions Marc about this.  He's ready with a quick cover up:  she was from the gym and had arranged a viewing of an apartment and he hadn't shown.  She can call back if he doesn't believe her.  Sonia doesn't answer this time.

·         Dario picks up Geño's voice mail.  Majo won't ask who was on the phone.  She just wants to know if he's willing to start from scratch with their relationship and leave all that for her.  She begins seducing him. (Women do have their wiles when men are so willing.)

·         Geño complains on the drive home to El Commandante about his not knowing from El C what Leonardo is doing playing boyfriend to Elisa.  It doesn't matter, now, but he figures it works better to keep Leo around rather than to put a bullet in his head.  The only person he wants to die is Maria Jose.  "--Get it done! Then make sure you keep me up to date on Leonardo Velasco’s every move. ."  He wants to know every step the guy takes.

·         Elisa and Fern eventually return to the apartment with food for dinner.  Leo shows up with her phone which has been set up to be traced.  Call them and they can follow it.  Fern meets Leo.  Fern goes out for the wine they forgot and leaves them to talk.  Elisa says she's worried they'll never hear from the kidnapper who still has Majo.  Leo says he's certain to call to negotiate his way out of things.  Majo is his only currency.  She brings up her daddy's murder and thinks out loud about how Daddy and Leo's fiancee were probably lovers.  She immediately says she's sorry for that, but Leo says it's gotten to the point that he may just have to accept that as fact.  He leaves to go back to work.

·         Dario and Majo enter his bedroom.  The two finally consummate their relationship.  And, while Viewerville get a view of a toy astronaut left out on his desk, we also get a view of the two of them on their trip to the stars.   No longer a little boy dreaming of the stars, Dario’s finally there and taken Majo with him.  (FF>>) Once they have time for pillow talk, he tells her he's certain he can never stop being who he's become.  She disagrees.  He’s the man who has a big heart and just took her to the stars and back; he cannot be all bad….

·         Geño arrives at Vicki's and lies that he is trying to reach Elisa about some pieces.  Vicki gives him the story about Ciappas and says she'll be back in the morning and he can call her then or come by.  They will go with Leo to N.Y. to visit with Majo after.  Geño tells Vicki he's not so sure about Leo and tells her to keep an eye on him.  (Is Tio G planning to frame Leo somehow for something?  Just a thought….)  Leo, he says, doesn't inspire much trust.  Tio then gives Vicki a rather too long peck on the cheek goodbye.  While the rest of Viewerville suffers goose bumps and a bit of nausea after he's out the door, Vicki just seems a bit puzzled and crinkles her nose.  Ren comes downstairs and warns Vicki to be careful of Tio because sometimes he exaggerates and sometimes, he lies out and out lies.

·         At Fern's again, Elisa remembers the day spent with Leo looking for her sister.  She's in tears.  Leo sends a text checking up on her that arrives at the right time to comfort her.  She thanks him and tells him she's glad he's around.

·         While Ren is downstairs now, Marcelo calls Sonia and explains the mess up.  She hangs up just as Geño arrives home and enters her bedroom.  He implies he's going to have his way with her.  (Viewerville wonders if she's hidden his little blue pills or not.)

·         Back at Dario's digs, he tells Mama about his plan to have a private nurse take care of her while he's gone.  Mama advises him to forget about his need for vengeance.  “--Stay away from your father and be the good boy I raised.”  He says he cannot.  He says he's going to make his father pay for what he did to her.  And, when it's all over with, the two of them will go far away and start over.  "--And what about Maria Jose?  Will she come with us?”  "--No, she belongs to another world much different from ours.”  She won't be alone."  Majo opens the door at this point.  He goes out into the hallway and asks how much she overheard. She asks him who “he” is and how has caused him so much grief.  Dario tells her it's the same man who ordered him to kill her.  "--Now do you understand why you can't stay here?"  Dario's phone begins ringing.  "--It's him."  Dario looks down at it (and we must assume he answers it).

·         Next morning, Sonia wakes up with bruises all over her back.

·         Dario wakes up and sneaks out of bed trying hard not to wake Majo; he prepares for the trials ahead. The theme music in the background swells and… it is powerful as Dario methodically goes about his daily duties for his mother's care, giving her pain meds and hiding his unbanked cash inside the top of their old piano in the living room.  (Yep, Yogi, he’s not your average bear.)

·         Back at Fern's Leo arrives, coffee in hand, to take Elisa home.  She's dead on her feet and worried that Cobra won't call her again.  He reassures her ah-gainnn why he most certainly will.  The dude will call, and Leo will be with her the whole way.  Just then the call comes in.  Leo gets his partners to trace the call and Elisa then answers.  Cobra, aka Dario, gives Elisa strict instructions to explain that Majo is in a sick old woman's house; neither Majo nor the old lady are to be harmed.  He stays on the phone long enough for the phone tracking he must know is being done, to work—all in the plan to save the two special women in his life.  Mario (Guy Cop) calls Leo with the location and the operation is a go.  Leo tells Fern to keep Elisa there during this. There's probably going to be a lot of gunplay and danger, so Elisa has to stay there and wait for him to call them with news.

·         Geño and Dario are on the phone soon after this.  Where's Dario?  He's on the way to the meet.  "--Maria Jose with you?"  Dario evades the question: "--I'm about to arrive." Geñ makes another call to his head henchman and tells him to go ahead and do what he ordered them to do.  He wants no survivors.   Dario pulls into the garage.  We see lots of men with suits and ties; we also see men with semi-automatic rifles at the ready. "--You did me dirty, Dario.  You are so predictable!  Did you forget who taught you the business?"  "--Sometimes the student surpasses the teacher."  "--I was ahead of you.  I knew you would not listen to me.  I've sent my men to Piadad's.  That's where she is, right?"  Dario appears to lose his cool; he starts for Geño.  Guns are drawn and cocked.  "--One more step and you're a dead man."

·         Meanwhile, Majo wakes up just as the gangsters enter the property.  She makes it to Piedad's bedroom, learns that Dario's gone out and they're there alone. They hear someone entering the house.  She convinces the old woman to try getting out of bed and try hiding with her. Pie starts to resist but Majo isn't going to leave her there to alone by herself now no matter what.

·         The goons enter the front door to the house just as the police’s hit and rescue squad surround it, awaiting Jose Luis's instructions.  Mario returns with a report that there's a black car in front with an armed goon inside it.  Leo volunteers to go in, taking the lead. The police teams follow after him.  The other two gunmen, now inside, go from room to room looking for the missing Majo and head upstairs.  Leo takes the driver goon by surprise and overpowers him.  (Heck!  No contest there!  Leo's got 50+ pounds and 10 inches on the dude.)  The goons now enter Piedad's bedroom, but no one is in there.  Leo and the hit squad continue to enter into the house.

·         Majo and Pie are hiding in one of the closets.

·         Leo and JL enter the first floor.  A goon comes out shooting from the balcony, shoots JL who goes down; but Leo gets the kill shot for the goon.  Goon #2 takes a header over the balcony railing, three flights straight down to the marble floor.  (Ouch!)  Leo races up to rescue Majo who has since been found and drug out to the balcony as a hostage, aka, human shield for goon #3.  There's a mexican standoff till Majo drops herself down onto the floor, opening room to take the kill shot which Leo immediately does.  Goon #3 is now dead due to Majo's major duck-down.  Majo is safe and waits there.  Leo races back downstairs to check on JL.  JL has taken a shot to the neck/shoulder area and is unconscious.

What a funny, snarky recap!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. And posted so quickly too!!

So Dario made one little, stupid mistake that won't be noticed:. after stashing the cash, he put the little ceramic angel inside the piano instead of setting it back on top.

Not sure who is the evilest:. Mophead or Fern??

Thanks, Jardinera, for the entertainment this morning. What fun!

Victoria, good point about the ceramic angel. You never know what might become an important clue along the way.

If Darío were leaving Majo and his mother behind to make a likely fatal visit to Eugenio, he should have at least told Majo who hired him so she could protect herself better in his absence. Guess that would short circuit the plot but the result is frustrating. Just freeing her wouldn’t do anything to necessarily protect her. Oh well, I guess any scene with her and Eugenio in it will be creepier than usual from now on. It was a smart move on her part to drop to the floor so her captor could be shot.

I am hoping that Renata ends up being smarter, hiding behind the veil of her mental illness, than what people give her credit for.

Jardinera, superb, start to finish.

"No longer a little boy dreaming of the stars, Dario’s finally there and taken Majo with him". Although I wish this had been given time to percolate a bit more, their coupling was very hot. And as unrealistic as it would be in reality, I do believe they love each other, albeit in their own way and totally by circumstance.

"(Yep, Yogi, he’s not your average bear.)". Have to admit, the lad has no fear. Talk about walking into the lion's den. Clearly, the lad has no fear. I suspect papa will not be gentle with him tonight.

"Mama advises him to forget about his need for vengeance. “--Stay away from your father and be the good boy I raised” was unheeded. I wish Dario had given Majo his father's name.

Interesting about the ceramic angel. My thought was that something might be hidden in it. It will be interesting to see the significance Dario's hiding this (if any).

"Fer's got her work cut out for her because Elisa is tired and sticks like a wad of melty parking lot chewing gum" was great. And Victoria, Fer is evil incarnate although I believe her mother sent her along that path as did Dario's father.

"Tio then gives Vicki a rather too long peck on the cheek goodbye. While the rest of Viewerville suffers goose bumps and a bit of nausea after he's out the door, Vicki just seems a bit puzzled and crinkles her nose". The fact Vicki STILL doesn't realize something's amiss is puzzling.

Leo is as kind as ever and Elisa, continually tormented. I hope JL survives. As his wife is no incentive to cling to life, he does have a daughter and brother who need him.

"I am hoping that Renata ends up being smarter, hiding behind the veil of her mental illness, than what people give her credit for". We can only hope Jarifa.

Jardinera, this was excellent. Thanks so much.

Diana

I believe this isn't being shown tonight because of the debate. Comcast still shows this as airing???

Diana

Hi, y'all. I missed the little angel in there. I sort of remember that last-minute addition but thought nothing of it. Too busy writing I suppose. Anyway, IMO, the angel simply could be an added good luck charm; or it is his prayer to La Virgencita to protect his loved ones along with the filthy lucre he's been skimming or rightfully earning towards his eventual absconding with Mama, and which he put in there instead of under the proverbial mattress.

I checked the schedule also and Uni isn't apparently covering the Veep debate--me neither. So, I do figure Adriana Noel will be posting as usual.

Jardinera, nice nice work. Thank you. Yes I wonder too, why Scario didn't tell Nojo that it was her uncle Rug who is behind all this. She could have immediately called Elisa and ratted out Tio Rug. OK, I just answered my own question, that would have shortened this TN by twenty eleven episodes....next.

I had thought maybe Rug was unaware that Scario was actually his son, and after the garage meeting with the "who taught you" and student teacher bull I assume he does know. I also thought, (mistake with ANY Mexican TN) he would never consider killing his own son, but then Ewwwwww Jeanio is plenty despicable enough to go there.

Fernanda needs to be eaten alive by rats.

Has Elisa actually DONE anything productive in this? She seems to be window dressing for the guys and an admirable crier for the women. She is swimming in a sea littered with BIG RED FLAGS at Fern's and once again her Blonde comes through. As in nothing, NADA. If someone abruptly, in a panic clutches you and stops you going into a room, what, you think they just haven't dusted in there in a few days? You're in a TN, there is a human in there, dead or alive.

We finally got to see the REAL Leo last night and he is all business when it counts. I liked how he gave the bad guy by the car the Vulcan sleep hug, or maybe he just broke his neck. How the bullet missed JL's vest is a mystery. Mojo unexpectedly dropping out of goon's grasp was clever. She did all but shout "NOW Leo!" but it worked anyway thanks to Leo.

Sonia beaten and banged again, just like in real life. You couldn't drag her away from it with a team of mules. She has a car, charge cards, friends, a boyfriend, right? Her only captor is her need to be abused. Seen it too many times, it happens.

Thanks again Jardinera, for a snappy funny recap

Kirby: Majo & Dario confuse me. She has Stockholm Syndrome!

Jardinera: Love your recap!

Steve maybe she just fell for the guy who saved her from being raped and then saved her life.

Maybe Dario was forced into this mess by his Papa at an early age and now sees what a monster his dad Ewwww is and does not want to continue being his dad's helper.

She didn't look too 'Stockholmy' when those guys came after her at Scario's Mom's house. Like, "Whew, where have you guys been, get me outta here.".

Maybe...............

BTW Renutty's smart pills she must have been secretly taking are surely showing effect.
I'm going to have to come up with yet another name for her. :-)

Jardinera, thank you for anotber great recap of all the darkness.

I guess that we all knew that Majo and not so Scario Dario were going to be starcrossed lovers. So...is Majo now carrying his child?

So ...if Tio Rug is Dario's despicable dad , does Tio know it ? I dont know where this is all headed. Is Dario going to be killed?

I agree that Ren might be smarter and saner than we have been led to believe. Perhaps , the three sisters will join with Leo to sort this all out.

After all these years in each other's orbits, why did Vick looked confused by Tio's too lingering chhek nuzzle? Women ususally get an immediate vibe about creepy womanizers like Tio. Has Vick never gotten that icky vibe from her husband's bff in all that time around him ?

I have no idea where thisbis headibg now tbat Majo is going home.

Last night, after the episode, Univision announced that Imperio and Dulce would be giving up their time slots for the Debate so no show tonight

Gracias, Jardinera.

I wonder whether the sex scene was censored.

To answer SusanLynn's question, I don't think Eugenio ever showed his true intent toward Victoria while Augusto was alive. This would have been extremely risky and Eugenio is a seriously cold-blooded monster. He may have had a long-term obsession over her and may not see her for what she truly is or he knows she is toxic and wants someone like himself.

I am not sure whether there is adequate difference between those two extremes with regard to his motive. I don't think she knew about the art trafficking and believe she only suspected Augusto of adultery. She would be more afraid now if she did know. That might make her look sufficiently dim to Eugenio that he thinks he can dominate her. However, he would be very mistaken because she sounds intelligent enough to understand how business works.

Renata is mentally ill, but not schizophrenic. I think she has histrionic personality disorder which was compounded by the wrong medications. I am thinking that she is like Maleny in YNCELH whose mother was 1000% responsible for her condition. What could she have witnessed as a child (before Elisa was born) that made her this way? Did Victoria pay an unscrupulous doctor under the table for all this? I can't wait for that reveal.

Jardinera654, what a nailbiter this is. Girl you have a way with words.

So the mophead is his sperm donor pa! Well that explains the hair.
But everything else, Dario has a conscience, mopead don't. And he has blood on his hands. Dangit! Well if he has to go I hope he takes mophead with him, don't leave
Him there to torture anybody else.
His mother cant walk, what did that
sob(<he dont deserve caps) do to her?
Victoria thinks majo got knocked up
Well she may not have been before but maybe since they went to the stars and back she might be now. The best trip she ever took.

Eugenio is a nasty disgusting not even human creature. I wonder about what ranata said to her mother bout not Trusting tio mop. She has been
Around alot longer than elisa and majo. Tio eugy has come to visit &
She has seen some things, and even heard some things that maybe vicky
May not even know about. And I just hope he never touched her. That may
Explain stuff about her.

Now we know who is running the show
Wh Dario's sperm contributor is. I
Say contributor because no way does
He deserve the titles daddy, father
Padra,pa,poppi, papa or anything from the heart of a loving child. Even if he did turn that child into a cold blooded killer who isn't as cold blooded as we thought. I hate that. I think the only thing that has kept Dario sane is his mother.
Its just a bad situation with D. If majo is preggers she can tell jr
About the last heroic thing dad did. And how he saved him from the beast Of a grandpa(he dont deserve that title either).
That bastard raped his wife. And he
Tortured her during, all those marks on her back.
Vicky better take her first born's
Advice, tio is a liar. A very nasty
Liar. I really hope he didnt touch
Ranata When she was little. Ok on
To something happier. Can't think of nothing happy in this tn can yall?

Well at least there will be a happy ending. After a whole lot of heart
Ache. Dangit! I hope so anyways.

Thank you jardinera654. You did a whopper of a job with this recap.

Urban

I think you've got it right regarding Renata:

She probably is mentally ill, but not schizophrenic. She has histrionic personality disorder which was compounded by the wrong medications.

Does GG like casting at least one crazy person in her novelas?

Ok they are not suppose to be on tonight? I just saw them on the schedule. Maybe the other spanish
Networks arent showing original programs. Whatever. Ill see.

I do remember that angel he pit in the piano top. Really would not be surprised if it has evidence in it
Against not so dear ol dad.

See thats what I dont like about those bullet proof vest, they dont cover enough in my opinion. That bullet hit him on The left shoulder and there Is a main artery there. Maybe they can make them to cover the shoulder More. Just saying. Hope he doesn't Die, his daughter and son and mom & Leo needs him. His loving wife can go fall in A hole.

I think rughead knows dario is his
Son. In that preview last night he had him tied up, he's probly gonna torture him. Thats what he likes to do to people, look what he's doing to his pitiful wife. Why does she stay? Or poison him or something?

It would be cool if renatas elevator did go all the way up to the top and shes been keeping it secret all these years until some
Body like leo came along. So clearly there Are no smart people in That family.

That look on Vickys face was saying "what the hell was that". I said go wash your face girl, yuck!

Thank you, Jardinera. This was an action-packed episode and you caught every bit of it.

I'm a bit late to this party but I am finally here.

I really didn't make too much of the angel; I just thought it was a good contrast of what Scario is not. Scario may have shown some semblance of a good guy, but how long will it last? Now that he has released Majo, I don't think that "good side" will last long; it seems that his only goal is to avenge his sperm donor (as Nina says...I too refuse to use the word father when referring tot he EWWW). Now how did such a sweet lady like Piedad get mixed up with the likes of Ewwwgenio? Just can't see it.

Urban, yes, the sex scene was cut short. I kept looking at Scario's tattoos and wondered why he didn't have one of a snake...since he is referred to as "El Cobra." At least I didn't see one.

Kirby, "Has Elisa actually DONE anything productive in this?" Good question!! I would say, "NO!" She thinks she can handle this all by herself and I don't see how. All she has done is follow Scario's orders. That we have seen, she is not trying to gather evidence or document anything that could cover her a$$ once everything comes to light, including laundering money, being an art mule and certifying the stolen goods.

Susanlynn, "After all these years in each other's orbits, why did Vick looked confused by Tio's too lingering cheek nuzzle? Women usually get an immediate vibe about creepy womanizers like Tio." DITTO!!! I said practically the same thing previously...women KNOW!!

Has anyone noticed the change in Ren's wardrobe? Seems to me that the "saner" she gets, the more conservative her clothes get.

Kirby - like your supposition that Papa Mophead took the boy and taught him the biz at an early age and probably against his mama's wishes.

Nina you are also probably on to something saying the only thing that's kept Dario sane after being a murderer for hire all these years is his mother's influence.

Urban/Victoria: I know nothing about personality disorders let alone distinguishing one from another. Interesting turn to her background story though.

Susanlynn/Steven: this is a dark, murder-filled whodunnit for sure. Gotta lighten up with these, definitely.

RGV - Thanks for the clarification. Dunno why this week Uni couldn't get its schedule straight in print.

RGV: also meant to add that Elisa so far has been a useless pawn--or will become one. I mean, this woman is supposed to be capable of running papa's empire and her own specialty gallery in the U.S.of A. She's been jelly the whole time. Now, Scario has been exactly that so I will give her some slack. Let's see how if at all they keep her under their thumb-screws.

Victoria, mental illness is a major theme in all five of GG's most recent productions:

-- The entire Santibanez family in YNCELH
-- At least two characters in La Candidata (Regina's son and her half-sister)
-- The female lead and her daughter in CEN
-- Catalina and her stepson of CdL; also Leonora whom she drove to madness (temporarily)
-- Renata in the current production, with possibly others to come

I can't speak for this producer's previous work.

Nina, I consider it highly unlikely that Renata has been faking it all these years. She is supposed to be 38 years old, so faking madness for all that time would definitely have a negative effect on her to the degree that she could have convinced herself that she is mad. This is mostly because she would have been treated as such by all the authority figures in her life, which is enough by itself to do that. In combination with the wrong psych meds they got her to a point of no return.

This raises the question about her education. How could she have attended school? Did she have a very tough governess? Also, she seems to have no friends.

UA: I think Renata might be faking it, although you might be right, but we just don't know....

I'm late again to comment, but want to congratulate Jardinera for her wonderful, clever recap! I really need these recaps to keep up on everything. I use the Spanish CCs which help for most everything, but even missing a few details is too much with this kind of story. I'd never be able to keep up without all of you on the patio!

Rgv Chick wrote: "Has anyone noticed the change in Ren's wardrobe? Seems to me that the "saner" she gets, the more conservative her clothes get."

Yes, I've been noticing her clothes.

I'm sure a lot of us are familiar that TV/movie productions use color to set the scene, or have a color "theme" and this show does. I started paying attention a few episodes ago. They use mostly neutral tones in all clothes, cars, furniture, everything. Greys, faded blues, browns (mostly furniture), and so forth. Clothing is usually grey, denim (or more subdued blues) with "accent" colors (a tie, a blouse, etc) of cool reds, magentas, burgundies, purples. There is occasionally some green (trees, greenery, occasionally on clothes) and other exceptions, but you'll notice that most of the characters are wearing some variation of neutrals with accent colors of burgundy, purples, and reds.

With the exception of Renata, who recently wore mustard colored pants, and Leslie, who I think had some yellow or mustard-colored garment. I find this interesting and wonder what colors they'll choose for her in the future.

Who knows, they may change the color "theme" in future episodes, but so far have been consistent in keeping the colors grey and neutral. It's obviously not a coincidence.

As for Scario, I usually have a pretty good spidey sense about who is a "good guy" (written to be one) and who isn't, but since this producer is not predictable, who knows. But Scario seems to be a "good guy" (who may or may not make it to the end of the story). I hope he does. I think he's been screwed over by his sperm donor. I like his mom.

Majo is totally suffering Stockholm syndrome, but since this is a novela, who knows how it'll end up. I hope that she and Scario can somehow have a happy ending. (Since this is not real life and I don't have to think about real life consequences and real life "realities.")

I'm liking Renata more and more and think she is one of the sanest of the bunch. And I'm warming to Leo more and more. He is a "nurturing" type of person.

Cat Girl. I can not really comment one way or the other on Leo's looks. BUT, he is hard to beat otherwise, as a man, human, BF, Friend, those things. Levelheaded, Smart, Nurturing, an excellent shot, and if you are a bad guy, he will sneak up behind you and humanely BREAK YOUR NECK. What's not to love.
