Caray, Caray!

Leonardo is having it out with Elisa over her not telling him about the trip to N.Y. C.  Oh, it was just business as usual.  He's more pissed that she went with Curly Locks, aka Fabulous Fabricio, than that she didn't bother to call and let him know at all.  He was really worried.  Really worried!!  She knew he was in Acapulco and it was only for a really short time so she's there to say hi.  Riiiiiiight.  

At the hospital, Victoria is getting more and more upset because nobody will listen to her complaint that Renata is mentally ill and cannot manage with a baby.  Missing are those unselfish, grandmotherly instincts that say we'll pitch in as a family and take the baby under our wing. Vicki would rather force her daughter to have an abortion.  However, the doctor attending Ren doesn't see the nutty and is emphatic that it's the mother's choice, not Victoria's. If there is some medical reason to prevent it, then pursue it legally through the courts; have her declared legally incapacitated.  Otherwise, talk to the hand cuz this face ain't listenin'.   (Here, here!  A cheer goes up in this part of Abuelaville.)  Eugenio walks up about this time and after the doc leaves he tells Vicki he'll work it out and not to worry.

Back at Fernanda's, Curly Locks wants to know who this little kid is and why Fern spurns him generally and then is caught laying in bed with him.  She refuses to answer fully.  She claims he's her nephew and the son of her long dead sister who she conveniently forgot to ever mention to Fab.  She does admit that her so-called housekeeper is really her mother.  Not just that but Fern's been stressed all these years taking care of the family, so much so that in order to earn such a big keep Augusto forced her to do things....she had to sleep with him for one.  Fab has heard enough and walks out the door.

Over at Adriana's apartment, she's made dinner for two.  Unfortunately for her, Jose Luis is too henpecked to join her.  She tries to seduce him but he's really very uncomfortable with her approach and reminds her they are only friends and colleagues.  He's sorry if he gave her any other impression and even sorrier if he embarassed her this evening.  After all the evenings they ate together and chatted with each other.....He was just needing a shoulder to whine on....  Her answer is well, yes he did and he has embarassed the hell out of her and please get the F... out.  He leaves (and probably wonders if on top of all the other crap ready to fall to pieces around him he's got a pending sexual harassment lawsuit about to crush him).

Back at los Velasco, Elisa has no intention of fighting with Leo all the time, she says.  She's exhausted with all the family trauma and drama to have to listen to him give her the 3rd degree.   She's outta heah.  Leo is forced to give in since he's never been so in love before with any woman as he is with Elisa.  (Yeah, way out of your league, dude.  Once you get hold of the brass ring you'd be a fool to let it go, right?)   He begs her to stay.  "--Forgive me???????"  She has him right where she wants and needs him to be.....They kiss and make up.  He's her knight in shining armor and she's his distressed damsel always in a jam that only he can save her from.  A stitch for every rip as they say down Mexico way......

Once again at the hospital, Ewwy corners Ren's doctor and suggests Realnutty truly needs to be put into a psychiatric hospital because of her mental issues.  The doctor agrees to transfer her.  Vicki later emphasizes to Ewwy that Ren has to abort that child.  The medicines she needs can cause malformations in the fetus, not to mention she tried to throw Momma down the stairs--tried to kill her, actually!  Unfortunately, Ren was the one who ended up losing her balance and took that terrible tumble.  

Next day, it appears that Curly Locks has bought into Fern's hardship tale of woe.  He understands and will be there for her if she needs him.  (What a boyscout!!!)  They hug and make up.  Next topic up for discussion is Renutty's stable condition physically...and whether she'll lose the baby.  But, that's not the real reason he wants to chat.  Nopers.  When they started this plan for him to woo Elisa, he was never told when she talked him into returning from London,  that Elisa and Augusto were involved with the Mafia and stolen art!  Whaaaaa?  It really complicates things for the two of them.  It means everybody at Cantu is liable and that means both of them, in particular.  He's not sure about sticking around and continuing with the original plan.  

Up at the prison, Marcelo gets a taste of prison pecking orders.  He gets beaten up so he understands that he's at the very bottom of said order.  It is  pay to play for Marc.

Meanwhile, Elisa is having coffee with Leo and gets a call from the family telling her that Ren's being transferred to a mental hospital.  She doesn't like the idea.  

While El was away, Don Justino died and Leo's  going to the funeral.  He mentions that he's not cool with Ewwy's "great concern" over the recovering Sonia.  El figures it's simply that he's a gentelman above all.  He'll overlook her bad actions with that two-timing BIL of hers.  Besides, why must Leo always think the worst of people???   Leo's certain there's more there there and he wants to investigate, and besides, that is his job--to think the worst of people and look for the truth.  She has to agree to let him at least do that much, not that she's one bit happy about it.  (Have to admit that part of Viewerville is wondering if these two are really destined to be together.  Talk about your total opposites....) 

Now at the mental hospital, Ren's pychiatrist says the "intervention" is done.  Vicki will never forgive herself, but she knows it was for the best and Ewwy agrees.  

Down at the police station, Mario finally tries to make up with Adriana.  He also admits the tension there is because he's jealous and so in love with her.  If she doesn't feel the same then it's okay, but he can't stand their not being friends as well as partners.  She agrees and accepts his apology.  

After Justino's burial, Leo says a last good-bye to Julia and their unborn child.  

Elisa walks into the dining room and greets a hung over Maria Jose.  She's been drinking her meals recently and Elisa is not only aware, but in total disagreement with Majo's  attitude issues.  Majo does learn from El about Ren's being transferred to the psychiatric hospital. Has she seen Dario?  No, says Majo, and she doesn't plan to, either. (Yeah, tell me another one, Majo.)   FF>>FF>>

At Grupo Cantu, Fern insists nobody at Grupo Cantu is liable for anything except Elisa who's been signing for things left and right from the beginning.  As long as Fab and Fern don't sign off on anything they are safe and on schedule to take the empire over at the point that El is eventually caught.  This is his opportunity to come out smelling like a rose.  Don't ruin it, Dude!

At the psychiatric hospital, Ren realizes she's been moved to someplace new and again she wants answers about her child.  The nurse cannot really say more than ' Let's wait for the doctor.'  Ren explodes; she begins screaming and scratching at the nurse because the nurse cannot answer her about her pregnancy.  Just then her psychiatrist, Dr. Omar,  comes into the room.  She complains to Omar about the nurse giving her a hard time and all she wants to know is about her pregnancy.  She feels pain below donchaknow....  She suddenly throws off the covers and discovers she's been bleeding.  The nurse is sent out for a team to assist.

Across town later that evening, we find that Theresa and Reynaldo are having dinner together.  She complains about how her husband shows her little or no attention.  (Oh woe is me.  This place apparently isn't classy enough to have violins playing.....)  Reynaldo is only too happy to pick up the pieces of her stone-cold broken heart.  He's unhappy also, but he is truly attracted to her and wants to take up where they both left off oh so many eons ago. She has a moment of conscience, but only a moment.   No, it's not right but it is what it is.  They kiss.

Back at the manse, Majo's been ignoring Dario's continual calls.  He finally texts her:  "--Majo, I love you; answer me, Love.  Don't leave me like this."  She calls him and asks what the hell does he want already.  He loves her is the reply.  She cannot stand him anymore is the retort.  He says if she really wants him gone out of her life then come to the hospital.  Click.  One of his goons lays a handgun on the table opposite him and leaves.  

El arrives at the hospital lounge.  She asks Vicki and Ewwy what happened on the stairs.  Vicki says Ren wanted to kill her and fought and it was Ren who ended up falling down the stairs.  Nobody's been allowed to see her yet.  Just then Dr. Omar walks up to them and says Ren's been given tranquilizers and is only able to see one visitor at a time.  Vicki follows Omar into the hallway.  El remarks to Ewwy afterward that she's so sad for her sister.  "--First the business with Marcelo, and now this."  Ewwy answers that there are things we just cannot hope to understand in life. (Now that is really deep, Dude --not!)  Hopefully they'll have some answers soon.  

Vicki sees that Ren's been tied down for having attacked her nurse.   Dr. Omar leaves.  Ren wants to know what's happened to the baby.  She doesn't want anything to do with Mama.  Vicki tries explaining that Ren wanted to kill her and fell down the stairs instead.  Ren then notes the restraints and that she's now a guest in a psychiatric hospital.  "--But I am not crazy!!  I am not crazy!"  (The problem is that the way she's been acting, she is must certainly be out of her everlovin' mind!)  

Majo has decided to visit Dario afterall. (Did we ever doubt it?)  She goes up the stairs unaware that Mario is right behind her.  

Leo, meanwhile, is chatting with Marc and his new defense attorney.  Marc is suspicious.  What's Leo want in return.  Why is the attorney there?  He supposes that he wants Marc to tell him where the rest of the stolen pieces of art are in return for getting him the attorney? (I think)  Leo is surprised he would suggest it.  Marc explains that JL was there the day before interrogating him and asking about the other pieces.  "--He seemed very interested in fact."  Leo suggests that they probably figure that whoever killed Augusto must now be in possession of the rest of the pieces.  Marc says that's really interesting that just yesterday he'd come asking him.

Outside the hospital Vicki and Dr. Omar meet up with El.   Vicki explains Ren attacked a nurse and had to be restrained.  El says she's not leaving till she sees her sister.  The doctor explains Ren had another episode and really shouldn't be further upset.  El wants just a moment or two.  The doctor finally agrees.  Vicki stops her for a second to mention that the baby was lost, but that Ren doesn't know it.  She asks her not to say anthing about that to her sister.  El leaves with Dr. Omar.  Vicki turns to Ewwy and asks him to meet with Omar after Elisa's gone to have him fix the files. (Did I hear that correctly?????)  Her wish is once again his command.

Mario, at the same time is on the phone with Leo reporting back about Majo.  Mario has confirmed with the nurse that Majo is in Dario's hospital room right now.  Leo tells Mario to hold off till he gets there.  This girl's put herself in danger again and he's going to deal with Dario once and for all!! 

Behind the closed door,  Dario asks Majo why she's there.  She says she wants to put an end to his harassing her and her family.  He disagrees.  She's there because she loves him, he insists.  (Mind games.)  He admits to being a naughty boy by taping their lovemaking.  However, he did it because it was the only way to keep her close by.  He is sorry for all the wrong he dun her and her sister.  He's in Luuuuhhv.  He can't undo what he's done.  (Wow, that's comforting.)  Oh, he knows that she feels the same for him as he feels for her.  She sniffles a lot and finally decides to leave.  He rips the wires out of his arms and tries to grab her.  But,  he suddenly stops in lots of pain.  "--Tell me that you don't love me.  Tell me that you do not love me and then just get out.  You'll never ever see me again!!"  Majo looks like she's fighting against the urge to race back over to him.  Suddenly she looks down and sees that he's bleeding profusely.  It is apparent this protected little princesa has never seen anyone bleed profusely before.  Her expression is hmmm....complete stupifaction.
