Mi Fortuna es Amarte #19 Mon. 3/21/22

We pick up the tale . . .

1.  Back on St. Germain, Adrián explains to  Tania that he never married for love, only for money. Natalia was very young and had no idea what to do with the huge fortune that her father left her. His original plan was to get control of the money and leave with it all in a year but then their daughters were born and he postponed his plans to see them grow up. He was trapped for  20 years. As for Tania, she felt invisible growing up. Her brother was the "male child" and the clear favorite. She simply never existed for her parents. Even though she strove to be better than her brother in everything, they never noticed. What she wouldn't give for her parents to see their favorite child in  jail. They would be so disappointed that  they would die again but his time from shame.

2. At Omar's, Andrea admires her engagement ring and takes selfies with it.

3. Granny Magos is having breakfast with her two grandsons 2XJosé and JuanGa at Chole's. Granny Magos remarks how lovely Chole  always is unlike others . . . as she sees Olga coming to join them.  Granny Magos informs Olga that she has come to discuss something very serious with her grandsons and asks her if she would be kind enough to leave them alone. Chole drags Olga out of there because it is time to open up the shop!

4. 2XJosé asks Granny Magos why she was so rude to Olga. Granny Magos SNAPS that  it is none of his business. She has never liked Olga. She thinks she is two-faced. JuanGa says she has her issues but is good girl and she is pretty.  Granny Magos warns JuanGa to stay away from her. If he hasn't noticed, she is doing her best not to be left without a husband. Now, who Granny Magos thinks is a real charmer is Natalia who is so elegant, refined, well-mannered and  a real lady. She is to be admired because she had the perfect life and then from one day to the next, she lost everything but wasn't devastated. She remained standing fighting to support her daughters. 2XJosé reminds Granny Magos that that is exactly what she did for them. She remembers how hard life was trying to keep herself and her three grandsons afloat. She gives Chente credit for helping her out. Anyway, that is why she admires Natalia so much. She is using the power of love to support her family.

5. Andrea goes to visit Natalia and after seeing the wall declares that Chente  has something wrong with his head. Natalia has to admit that they all are a little crazy. Andrea needs to talk to her mother.

6. Olga cannot understand why Granny Magos doesn't like her. Chole tells her that she can smell her intentions. She reminds her of the last time when she was flirting with Chente. Olga says that was because he was married at the time but  he isn't now. Chole tries to talk her out of what will never happen. Olga isn't giving up. She pages through  a magazine and sees a photo of a happy family. Suddenly in her mind's eye it is her, Chente and Ben.

7. Over coffee and some desserts, Andrea shows Natalia her engagement ring. Natalia says it is very pretty. Andrea is upset that she isn't happy for her. Natalia explains that she never will be in agreement with the marriage because even though two people may be in love, marriage is hard. Sometimes love is not enough. Andrea insists that  they are going to try. Natalia sighs and asks her not to be getting married only because of their living situation. Andrea informs her that they are getting married after her birthday. The only thing she is asking of Natalia is that she be there with her. Natalia asks if there is anything that will change her opinion. Andrea says no.

8. Granny Magos visits Lucía's grave and thinks about being with her at one of Ben's soccer games. A weeping Granny Magos told Lucía how grateful she was to God that he gave her enough time to be with her little grandson. Lucía told her not to be sad because the doctor left her with a lot of hope for Granny Magos. Granny Magos didn't understand half of what he said except that she was very ill. Lucía told her not to lose faith,  take her medicine and trust in the Virgin. Granny Magos only asked that Lucía not tell her grandsons that she had those medical tests. Lucía agreed to keep it a secret but thought that Granny Magos should tell them. Granny Magos wondered what would she tell them; that she was going to die? Lucía asked her not to say that. Granny Magos said no matter what happened she was at peace that Lucía was with Chente and her family. Lucía had no idea how much she loved her. Lucía promised her she would always take care of Chente and Ben. Ben came off the field to join them and an iridescent blue hummingbird visited the trio.

9. In the present, Granny Magos never imagined that Lucía would have died first. Now, who will take care of her Chente?  Why did Lucía have to die? Magically, the blue humming bird appears and hovers over Lucía's grave. Granny Magos notices it.

10. 2XJosé brings Ben to see  Chente at his shop on the way home from school.  Chente notices how upset he is again. Chente give Ben a photo of him and his mother and Ben cries. Chente tells him not to cry that his mother would want to see them happy and that she will live forever in their mind and heart. Nothing helps stop the tears, so Chente takes him in his arms and hugs him.

11. Natalia tells Regina and Connie that Andrea came to see her and although she tried to talk reasonably to her, Andrea is foolish. So, it looks like she will have to respect her decision. She did all she could as a mother and has to accept that she will marry Omar. Connie isn't so accepting saying that she would tie her up if it were necessary. Natalia tells he mother that she also wants to protect Andrea so she will support her and be nearby in case things go badly. Regina says maybe things will go really well for them. Natalia hopes so. Connie wants to know how to help. Natalia asks her to support Andrea just as she is. Natalia says Andrea will be getting married after he birthday and she is asking that Andrea feel like her family is on her side.

12. Olga visits Chente at his shop. She takes advantage of her visit to visit with Ben and also threaten him on the sly by reminding him they have a deal and that they are buddies.  She gets him to kiss her so she can fuss over him and make a good impression on Chente. Ben leaves with 2XJosé and Olga just goes on and on about Ben and how much she loves him.  Chente tells her the Natalia is the only one who can make Ben smile. Olga says she is thinking about how she could help Ben. She pulls out the magazine photo of the happy family in the pool. She suggests they take Ben to go swimming at this spa this weekend. Chente says her idea sounds good but he will have to think about it.

13. Granny Magos comes home to find Natalia pacing off the patio to see how many table could fit.  Maybe five? GrannyMagos sees that she is still thinking of starting her own restaurant. She tells hr not to worry about Chente because she will take care of him. Natalia says she first hast think about things very well. The hummingbird appears and flies around Natalia. Both she and Granny Magos notice it. Granny Magos is going to see Tere.

14. Elías and Samia show up at Omar's apartment unannounced. Elías is there to ask about  an incredibly large charge that was made to the credit card that he gave to Omar.  They contacted the bank and found out that the charge was for an engagement ring.  A happy and carefree Andrea comes in with good news and is accosted by Samia who roughly removes the engagement ring. Samia says she gave them one chance and they lied to her. Omar tries to say something but Samia shuts him up quickly. Samia tells Andrea to wake up. She isn't enough for her son. She will not ruin his future because she will  not be marrying him.

15. Chente is at his shop looking at the magazine Olga gave him. He sees the photo of the happy family but pictures Natalia as the woman with him and Ben, not Olga. Natalia arrives at the shop and Ben runs out to meet her. They hug and Ben smiles. Chente thinks it is magic how Ben changes when he is with her. Natalia says it is not magic but love.  Ben nods. Natalia says she loves him a lot and she can tell from his eyes that he loves her, too. He nods. Natalia asks Chente for a favor. She is going to bring her first delivery of desserts to the club and was wondering if she could borrow his vehicle. She didn't want to take a cab. Chente says he is the only one who drives his vehicle but he is willing to take her. She is shocked. He says they are supposed to be lending each other a hand. They will take Ben back to the house first. Natalia says he can watch a movie with Regina. It is a done deal for Chente. Israel will take charge of the shop.

16. Elías is enraged that at HIS age Omar cannot buy an engagement ring with his own money.  Elías reminds him he is still living off of him. He tells him since he has given him everything, he can take it all away whenever he pleases. Omar raises his voice to say something. Samia slaps him for daring to interrupt his father. Elías grabs Omar by his shirt collar and asks him what he is doing with his life. He tells him to look at that piece of garbage (Andrea). Neither he or his mother will allow him to waste his life over this insignificant little girl. He is giving him one day to get this social climber moved  out and to terminate their ridiculous relationship. Elías announce they are leaving. Samia pauses to give Andrea one last look of disdain.

17. Tere asks Granny Magos what she wants the little angels (her tarot cards) to tell her. Granny Magos wants to know how their families will solve their problems She guides Granny Magos' hand over three piles of cards. One is for her, the next is for her house and the third is for what God knows and what she can expect. The first card she turns over represents Chente, the second Natalia and the third is the house they have to share because of their circumstances.  Granny Magos asks if there is going to be a good ending or will they still have problems. The next card shows Tere that they will reconcile. She assures Granny Magos that the little angels never lie. Chente and Natalia will heal their wounds from this life together. Granny Magos is so happy to hear that as well as Tere. Granny Magos has another question. Granny Magos wants to know if Chente and Natalia could fall in  love. . .

18. Andrea is infuriated that Omar didn't stick up for her against his parents again. He argues that his father didn't allow him to speak.  She sees that neither she nor their relationship matters to him. He tries to explain but she tells him it is better that he not. She demands to know why he didn't defend her. He goes to hug her asking that she understand . . She pushes him away telling him not to touch her. In tears, Omar explains  he never expected his parents to appear with that kind of attitude, attacking them. He is between a rock and a hard place. Andrea sarcastically says that his parents are right. She is ruining their high and mighty  "educated" reputation and also the future of their little"Chu Chú. Andrea is out of there telling him  bye bye forever!!!

19. Tere tells Granny Magos that she can see Chente and Natalia as friends but in love, not really. Granny Magos wants to know why not. Tere says to start  her grandson is a brand new widower.  So why would he be looking for another wife? Granny Magos understands but would like to give him a little push. Tere says that her own daughter is in no position to start a new relationship either. Tere apologizes but says that Chente isn't the right social class for Natalia either. Granny Magos appreciates Tere's honesty but her question wasn't for Tere. It was for the little angels. Tere continues with the reading. The first card she turns represents love. Granny Magos knows she got a sign from Lucía today and now this. Tere has to agree that Natalia and Chente will have a second chance for love with each other. Granny Magos is happy.

20. At the beauty shop, Olga is going on about Chente as Chole works. She tells her about how she invited him to a spa this weekend. Chole laughs thinking that Chente would ever go off with Olga alone. Olga says she isn't that stupid. She floated the idea as  a way to help Ben get over his dead mother.  Chole reminds her she isn't part of the family. Olga is determined to win over the Ramírez family. She thinks that Chente will fall in love with her to such a degree that he will BEG her to be his wife. Chole says that neither Ben or Granny Magos like her at all. Olga says she has Ben well under control. Chole immediately asks her how could that be??  Olga says she only meant that they have  been spending lots of time together and they are little buddies. Chole believes her and has to laugh as they talk about how cute Ben is. Chole tells her that things won't be as easy with Granny Magos. Olga says if it is what Chente wants, she will just have to accept it. Chole reminds her that she has to win Chente's heart first. Olga tells her to go ahead and make fun her all she wants but she has her ways.  She fantasizes being on the trip with a little tequila and when she caresses Chente and he feels her body . . . there will be kisses . . and Chole will see. Chole is no longer smiling.

21. At the club (in front of the pool), Natalia  shows Chente the first money she has ever earned herself in her whole life. He hugs her in celebration.  She is so happy and doesn't know why she never did anything for herself before.

22. Fernanda,  Natalia's best friend, appears on the scene. Natalia explains that she just delivered her desserts and they paid her. She introduces her to Chente. Fernanda wants to talk to Natalia for a moment. Natalia invites a reluctant Chente along.

23. Granny Magos tells Tere about the hummingbird at the cemetery and how she believes that it was a sign from Lucía  reminding her that she was still looking after her family from heaven. Tere believes that the people that we love always care for us even if they are not with us here on earth. Granny Magos adds that when she came home, she ran into Natalia and the same hummingbird appeared.  It  brushed Natalia's arm  as if Lucía were  pointing out the right woman for Chente to make a new life with.  Tere reluctantly agrees with what the cards indicated. Granny Magos asks for her assistance in getting Natalia and Chente together. Tere says it is too early for that. Granny Magos knows but she doesn't want to leave this world without  knowing that Chente and Ben are in good hands. She explains that at her age there isn't a lot of time left. She is open to doing what she can.

24. Natalia and Fernanda enter the club dining room. Chente comes in a bit later and is stopped by the maitre d' because people of his class are not allowed there. He knows how to play the game and explains that he has to talk to his "boss."  He is allowed to go in and told to hurry up. When Chente gets to the  table, he hesitates and tells Natalia he has work to do at his shop. Natalia decides that she has to leave, too. Fernanda wants her to stay. Natalia asks if it is that urgent that Chente has to go. He says it is better that he get back. Natalia thanks him and stays with Fernanda.  A very uncomfortable Chente leaves and gets odd looks from others in the dining room on his way out.

25. Regina, 2XJosé and Ben make a video calling for the wall to be torn down. Even Claudio gets involved.

26. Andrea shows up at Chente's needing Regina's shoulder to cry on.

27. Elías has good new for Samia. The doorman just called him to let him know that the social climber has moved out of the apartment. He is  still worried  that Omar could marry Andrea without them knowing about it. Samia cannot see that at first but quickly changes her mind. Elias thinks that maybe they could negotiate a price with Natalia to keep her daughter away from Omar.  Samia says Natalia wold never accept something like that. Elias insists that everyone has a price and that economic need has a tendency to make pride disappear. Samia still thinks that would be a mistake. Elías is willing to try whatever he can to save  the future of their son. Samia will talk to Natalia first to see what she can do.

28. Fernanda loves the dessert Natalia made. Fernanda tells Natalia that she is worried about her sister Connie. Fernanda tells Natalia that she ran into her brother-in-law kissing another woman. Connie walks in and joins them asking if she interrupted them. What were they talking about? Connie is met with silence.

29. Andrea moves in with Regina and assure her that no matter how rude and difficult she has been both she and her mother still love her.  Andrea tells her how bad it was.  She loves Omar but he never defended her against his parents. Regina tells her that she and her mother will never let anyone hurt her. Andrea thanks her and they end up hugging.

30. Connie says she sees she is making them uncomfortable and offers to leave. Fernanda says not at all. They were just talking out Natalia's new business.  Natalia says she is now a dessert vendor at the club. Connie nots that Natalia is finally she is taking advantage of what she learned in that course of study that cost her so much. Fernanda thinks that Natalia should be proud to be supporting herself. Connie just hopes the business doesn't turn into total failure like her marriage.  Natalia understands the hostility  and tells Connie that she never expected anything else from her. She is ready to leave. Fernanda is going to give her a lift. A smug and smiling Connie makes another dig and they leave.

31. Connie's smile  disappears quickly when William appears and she has no where to escape to. He sits down and looks at his rat in the trap.

32. Tere welcomes Andrea home to her family. She tells Andrea how happy her mother will be to see her back. Andrea hopes so.

33. Claudio notices that Andrea is back. Tere asks him if he has problem with that. He says no but is worried where they will be sleeping now. Tere cannot believe that he only thinks about himself. She tells him they will have to wait and see if how all shakes out and if they end up sleeping on the floor, that is how it will be.

34. Connie cannot believe that William is sitting at her table. He sees it as taking care of his investment. He wants to know where his money is. She says she told him it would be a few days because she doesn't have that kind of money on hand. He tells her to calm down. This is only a kind reminder. He touches her hand. She calls him an imbecile and tells him not to touch her. He grabs her by the arm and roughly pulls her towards him. He informs her that his patience is running out. She reminds him what he is doing is a crime and he could end up in jail. He warns her not to play games or the videos will be on the social networks. Her marriage and social life will be over. He adds that she would never be able to get rid of the scandal;  she who is so worried by what everyone "will say." He leaves.

35. Back on St. Germain, it  is evening and Adrián is demanding to know where Vero was all afternoon. She is surprised he missed her. He says he always does. She says she misses him, too. They talk about the money they are making and how much Pedro enjoys her company. She find him so boring. Adrián offers to give her a massage. Alas, she has a HEADACHE and is all worn out. She is going to go to sleep. Adrián is going out for a walk.

36. Natalia tells Chente that he has started a rebellion in the house with his wall. He goes to remove one of the posters the kids made. Natalia tells him to leave it. She is in favor of taking down the wall as well as 2XPepe and Regina. He says that is too bad because the wall is going to stay. She asks if seriously nothing will change his mind.

37. Regina has good news for Natalia. Andrea is back.

8. Olga is alone and gets a call from Vero. Vero explains she didn't call before because she was quite busy. Vero wants to now how their beloved Natalia is doing. Olga wants to know if Vero wants to hear about how she slapped Natalia across the face the other day. Vero congratulates her and says although she wanted to slap Natalia she never did. Olga is confused about who she is talking to. Vero says she is not the same woman she talked to before but she got her number from her. Olga smiles realizing that  Natalia ticked off several women. Vero is still willing to help her. She tees Olga that Natalia's weakness is her daughters. If she really wants to hurt Natalia, attack her through her daughters.

I hate Andrea.
I hate Andrea.
I hate Andrea.
(Her boyfriend is GORGEOUS though. Who is he?)

But,

I loved the recap.
I loved the recap.
I loved the recap. Thank you for your efforts!

And I am enjoying this series so far!

L.

Jarifa, many thanks for this excellent recap which was sorely needed. I saw bits and pieces of the episode while I was busy doing other things. That was fine though, because I had set up the DVR to record it, and I set it up absolutely perfectly. Unfortunately, the DVR is somewhat old and I think that "DVR dementia" may be setting in. Silly thing failed to record what I had perfectly set up.

No problemo, I can tell your recap is much better anyway-oh.

Elías and Samia were really awful with Andrea and Omar. I understand what they are doing and why, but they did not need to so ruthlessly humiliate, yet again, both of the "lovebirds". It won't be easy to get over it.

I don't much like Elías, but Samia is not so bad and is even fun at times. I loved her a few episodes back when she had on that green (avocado?) face mask and cucumber slices over her eyes, and bright red lipstick. And cocking her head from side to side like an owl while on the phone. Definitely fun. And I very much liked her skirt tonight, very pretty. It flared out a bit and kept its shape. Can anybody tell me what such a skirt is called? I'm curious.

We bounce back and forth quite a bit with this show. One minute magical humming birds and visits from Heaven by Lucía and spot-on Tarot readings. The next minute we get the so very nasty swindlers and their immorality.

And, of course, the wall. I was sure that stupid wall would be long gone by now. Chente can be as thick as a brick himself sometimes. Most of the time.

Jarifa, thanks again.

Andy

Jarifa: Howdy from the Alamo City. Thank you very much for the recap of last night's episode.

Andy: We all hate Bratty Andrea: she's so damn annoying!

Steve Boudreaux

Great recap, Jarifa. My fave: He sits down and looks at his rat in the trap.

Constanza really needs to be taken down a few pegs. Her hatred of Natalia is irrational; she needs a shrink. How did she meet and end up marrying Gustavo? Someone should have told her that spinsterhood is not the end of the world.

Her house shows that she is trying too hard to be "upper crust." Does she ever entertain? We have no hint of that.

Samia's own manner is not much of an improvement over Andrea's. This is probably her thinking that Andrea deserves a taste of her own medicine. She must know about the disrespect Andrea has shown to Natalia. Based on this episode Elias is at least halfway self-made and his father was fully so. I'm sure Samia has never worked a day in her life, as Natalia hadn't and..... that explains their 1950s-looking clothes!

Vulga still disgusts us. She is off the rails. She also has no class and now begins to fall into the Sleazebag Villain category. Vero will use and discard her.

Vero's wardrobe gives Slutwear a whole new meaning.

Adrian is not as smart as he thinks he is.

Granny Magos and Teresa will be besties.

More later.

Jarifa, I’ve yet to see this but your all encompassing recap was splendid as always. You paint such a vivid picture of the characters actions, mind and heart. If indeed they have one.

“Granny Magos knows but she doesn't want to leave this world without knowing that Chente and Ben are in good hands. She explains that at her age there isn't a lot of time left” was crushingly sad and prophetic.

“William appears and she has no where to escape to. He sits down and looks at his rat in the trap” was one of many favorites.

Elias and Samia are contemptible. Although determined, Omar seems reasonable and I strongly feel they could have made him see reason in far less dramatic and cruel fashion. I concede Andrea was far more problematic but ripping the ring off her finger?

Olga continues to terrorize. I can’t recall a character so clearly rejected that refuses to give up. I’m sorry that she has teemed up with Vero to make Natalia’s life even more miserable.

Speaking of loathsome, Urban I agree with you that Connie’s “hatred of Natalia is irrational”. I can’t muster up the slightest sympathy for her plight with wee Willie.

The “iridescent blue hummingbird” is a hopeful and welcome sign.

Andy, I couldn’t believe the wall hasn’t tumbled down either! “Chente can be as thick as a brick himself sometimes. Most of the time” had me smiling and is spot on.

“Tere apologizes but says that Chente isn't the right social class for Natalia either”. This from someone who married the most pretentious, grasping, greedy, grifter who has no social class whatsoever.

The sun is out inside and outside thanks to you Jarifa.

Diana

I enjoyed your recap, Jarofa, thank you.

Andrea seems pretty finished with Omar. Having his mother call her trash was pretty low. But Omar was not to bright to use Daddy’s money to buy the engagement ring! Not quite ready to support a wife! Hopefully Andrea will now have a better attitude with her family.

I enjoyed the hummingbird scenes and the card reading. Signs that things will look up!

Not sure how Olga will attack the girls. Won’t be as easy as what she’s doing to sweet Benja. Can’t wait till she gets what’s coming to her. She seems to be the most evil in this show. So far anyway!

Jarifa, thank you for another wonderful recap of quite an episode starting with Adrian telling Tania that he married Nat for her inheritance and never really loved her but stayed only to see his daughters grow up . Awful man. And we find out that Tania hates her brother because he was the parents' fav. yuck.

I can't imagine what it was like for Carmen to play this character who is dying ... oh my goodness. It is painful to think about . I loved the magical hummingbird , and when it hovers around Nat, we know exactly who it is. My friend thinks of her parents whenever she sees a cardinal , and my family think of our loved one whenever we see a hawk or eagle. When we lose our loved ones , their love stays with us , and they sometimes visit us in spirit. Love is stronger than death. Love stays .

Abuelita will be so important to watch over Ben and watch out for dreadful Olga.

Samia slaps her Chu Chu. Yikes. I guess Samia is Andrea all grown up.

I just checked IMDB and saw that Ignacio Lopez Tarso has five credits after his appearance on Medicos, the most recent of which is dated last year. He is now 97. We ha this same conversation about him two years ago.

At this point I am thinking that Veronica is ultimately the most dangerous of the villains. She hasn't killed anyone yet within our view, but she is as soulless as Leticia Calderon's Sonia from Mujeres Asesinas. She is probably quite capable of doing so.

She is more intelligent than Vulga and more capable of playing the long game. There is no way she didn't plan to use Adrian to embezzle all the funds from the company, get his trust, and fleece him completely. Tania was always part of the plan. My question is now what her next step will be once she leaves Adrian high and dry. Will she do the same to Tania or is there something else going on with them?

Jarifa - Thank you for an excellent recap. I am going to limit my comments to Olga and Ben. Slithereen (aka Olga/Vulga) is a very dark, troubled character. Ben is quite justified to find her frightening. As for the writers, how they have gotten away with some of the scenes between these two, in particular Slithereen's point gun at the child, is beyond me. Actor or not, the child is too young to be play acting in such sick, sick scenes. I hope Chente catches on and keep Olga away from Ben.

L, I am glad you are enjoying this novela so far. Good to see you on the patio!

Andy, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason why things just don't work like DVR recorders and other electronic "wonders." You notice so much more bout Samia than I do. I am glad that somebody is enjoying her and her flamboyant style. Yep, All in all Chente is just another "thick" brick in the wall!

Steve, Andrea is a real pain. Interesting seeing her meet her match with Omar's parents.

Urban, no, we never see any company at Connie's. Have we even seen any servants or a cook? I am curious how she ended up with Tavo, too.

Diana, I think my favorite parts of last night were the hummingbird and the tarot card readings. A little magic goes a long way in this one and softens the plot with a glimmer of hope. I am glad you enjoyed the recap.

Liz, you are right that Olga does seem to be the most evil so far or messing with little Ben's mind. It is just sickening. ITA that Omar didn't seem too bright using daddy's credit card or agreeing to get married with no job of his own.

Susanlynn, "I guess Samia is Andrea all grown up". Perfect!

Anon 1:57, I loved your "Slithereen". It is so appropriate.

Jarifa..was that a Pink Floyd reference ?

Great job, Jarifa.

I loved the takedown of bratty Andrea. Now maybe she will appreciate the love of her mom and sis.

Samia was a hoot yanking the ring off. I can tell the actress is enjoying this role. A few episodes back, she even appeared without makeup. She and Elias make a good villainess pair. My favorite villains are mean but have some humor too. Honestly, all they need to do is to take away Omar's penthouse and credit card.

I wonder what the hummingbird thinks of Chente's stupid wall.

Susanlynn, sure was. Still one of my favorite songs. ; ) Someone should tell Olga “Leave that kid alone!”

Niecie, I never expected Samia to yank the ring off of Andrea’s hand. It was funny as if she were going to return it herself and get the refund. The Samia and Elías characters play very well off of each other. Hmmmm … what does the hummingbird think? Great question!!!

Jarifa— the scenes with Samir were so funny! And then the hand gestures to run off all the bad spirit. She made me laugh. Ok. She was harsh, but it is making Andrea stop to consider her new reality instead of being allowed to ignore it or hide from it. Thanks for a great job with all the subtleties
