Caray, Caray!

It's that time again! We need to talk about who gets what's coming to him (or her) for all their evil deeds. Most of us here are experienced viewers so we know that what we think is right is not always what the writers will have done. So.... here we ask the two questions:

• What do you think the writers will do to them?

• What do you think they really deserve (if different)?

Keep in mind that all of these are sexist and classist.  All info is through Episode 79.

Veronica Alanis Gomez / Denia Agalianou

Guilty of at least one murder (Tania, sister of Mario), several counts of embezzlement, adultery, and probably various other sexually deviant behavior we have not been privy to. Guilty of colluding with Adrian and Pedro for embezzlement, Olga for potential crimes against Natalia, – including murder – and Elias against his own son. Paid Olga for information. Guilty of double-crossing Adrian and thinking she is all that and a pound of Beluga caviar.

We still don't know what the connexion is between blood and her yellow roses, but let's hope that gets confirmed. She may be the reincarnation of a past serial killer.

Guilty of child abuse, both verbal and emotional, sufficient to cause Benjamin to suffer muteness for many episodes. She also practiced witchcraft, paid Simba to kill Natalia (which – fortunately – did not happen), sold information about Natalia's activities to both Adrian and Veronica, lied about being raped at what would have been the murder site to play on Vicente's sense of guilt. She caused Magos to become ill, and later drugged Vicente to get him in bed to set him up for a pregnancy entrapment. Lied to him about siring her hellspawn (most likely sired by Adrian), playing on his sense of guilt so he will marry her. Never tells a single truth and always dresses like she's working in a low-rent brothel.

Guilty of major embezzlement which included Natalia's investment in his company, adultery, masterminding criminal activity in Vicente's neighborhood, bribing various people to close Natalia's restaurant due to false violations. Masterminded the looting of Vicente's shop on the same day, threatening bankruptcy for both. Guilty of gaslighting Natalia and thinking she is stupid enough to still love him.

Never told the truth about anything, especially to Natalia whom he has also manhandled. Provided the knock-out drug to Olga, so is also an accomplice to rape. Encouraged her to pass off her fetus as Chente's although knows it isn't (Not having been smart enough to use condoms when having sex with this poisonous whore he is laughing at having knocked her up). Paid her for information about Natalia. Attempted to block José-José's entrance into an elite school by bribing the dean. Coerced Natalia to move into his house and later told her he was not giving her a divorce and will get her back after agreeing to her condition not to try this. Attempted to coerce his naïve daughters into helping him with this while not correcting the fact that he looks like an operatic Mephistopheles.

Guilty of attempted rape (Natalia), paying a prostitute to drug Omar and set him up to believe he had committed a murder while drunk, shanghaiing Omar out of the country all to break up his relationship with Andrea. Took the law into his own hands in getting Adrian put in prison, but we can cut him some slack for that one. Guilty of colluding and canoodling with Veronica and thinking he is completely bullet-proof.

Too early still to tell whether he will back off trying to regain control over Omar's life and custody of his son.

Guilty of constant emotional and verbal abuse of Natalia, disrespectful attitude toward Gustavo, bribing one or more people for a false fertility test result on Gustavo. Refused to allow Natalia and her daughters to move in when their home went into foreclosure and Natalia had no cash in the bank. Huge snobbery about anyone with less money than she has. Hired Simba to kill William to save her precious image.  She offered a diabolical deal to the pregnant Andrea for custody of her baby, which has led to a dangerous obsession. Also guilty of sucking lemons to maintain the image of a wealthy Victorian spinster.

This repulsive thug has been the sleazebag gofer for both Olga and Adrian. Guilty of taking money from Olga to kill Natalia (see above), took money from Costanza to kill William (who ended up dying in an accident), and took money from Adrian to cause crime in Chente's neighborhood. Also guilty of extorting money from Olga and leaving a stench in his wake.

Guilty of greed to the extent that she was willing to sell her baby to Costanza in exchange for luxury, took money from Adrian after he returned, attempted to coerce Natalia to get back together with him and drag Regina into this scheme. Whined like a bratty pre-teen through all of this. However, seems to be turning around. We'll see.

Samia Karam Mansour / Lisette

Guilty of gossip as well as the usual snobbery. Constantly queens her alleged social position over everyone including Natalia prior to Adrian's crimes. Used her position with the country club to wreck Natalia's deal with the management for her gourmet desserts. Attempted to infantilize her son and continues to call him by a nickname more suitable for a pocket poodle.

Still unaware of Elias' adultery with Veronica, but we would probably like to see her get some kind of revenge on him.
