WEEKEND DISCUSSION 6/18/20: Evils and Anvils…Too Much? Too Little?

In 70 BC, when writing about law and crime, Marcus Tullius Cicero opined, “Let the punishment be proportionate to the offenses.” And how many times has that happened (or not) in Telenovelalandia?
We can identify villains from the inception of the TNs and OH! how we tend to grit our teeth and throw nerfazos at them; though we know that their evil ways and crimes will only get worse as the story evolves. They plot, they lie, they prey on their victims mercilessly…and we hope that karmageddon comes sooner than later (sometimes to no avail).
For this week, we want you to delve into the villians of the past (or present) and the karmageddon which befell them. Who got what was coming to them and what did they get? Was it too much, too little, too quick?

There always comes a time (or many times) in
a telenovela that some things are just hard to believe and even harder to
swallow. Someone conveniently finds a clue to a murder, a crime, infidelity or
any other type of wrong-doing; or someone is at the right place at the right
time…so many other “convenient" things happen! I’m not sure who, when or how the
concept of “beanies” came to be, but they have been quite popular…and
necessary!
