La Fea Más Bella #271-272 3/28/11 A costume party, a slumber party, and a transfer of power.
Capitulo 271.

1. Jax says Lety must be there to sign the contract. Fern tries to reach her and finally calls Aldo, who says Lety said she was going to the Jax meeting (remember, Lety told Fern she was going out with Aldo). Lety arrives but then Jax wants Aurora. Lety pushes him and signs the contract, then leaves and changes into Aurora.
2. Omar stops Aurora in the hall. He begs her to give him another chance. He’ll do anything for her. He’ll be her slave. She tells him to disappear. Aurora signs the contract and leaves.
3. At the publisher’s office, Carmina wants to work with Aldo face to face, not by e-mail.
4. Jax describes the project. RetroMod will sponsor a TV show. The Aurora commercials will tie into the pilot, and will continue through the series. Lety faints.
5. Luigi gives Ali her wedding gift – a whip and handcuffs. He mentions that Tom is Aurora’s agent, and he asks Ali to find out what she can about Aurora’s tastes.
6. Omar tells Lety that he’s suffering because he loves Aurora and she doesn’t love him. She’s making him pay for all he’s done. Fern has an especially happy smile for “his Lety” because they just signed the contract to earn the money to get Conceptos back from Aldo to get Lety back from Aldo.
7. Ali tells the cuartel that she can marry in the church because her first marriage was not in the church.
8. Aldo harshly interrogates Lety about where she went, and Fern steps in to defend her. Lety says she was simply late, and Aldo claims he was just worried for her. GSNAK. He informs her that she is coming to his house tonight to celebrate the start of the new book.
9. Fern tells Luigi to start the commercials, stat! Lui tells him that he has to film them off site, and this is news to Fern. Omar begs Aldo for his job back.
10. Fern finds Omar taking liquid therapy. Fern thinks that Omar isn’t really in love, he’s obsessed, because Aurora’s the first woman to blow him off. Omar asks, “What good is love, if it only makes you suffer?” Fern accepts that maybe he’s right. F: You know what we need to do? O: Suicide? F: That’s one option. I tried it once. But if you don’t do it with conviction, it really hurts. No. They decide they should renounce women. They won’t let any women in their life.

1. Marcia walks into the boys’ apartment and announces that she’s moving in. The boys are stunned. Fern is worried that she wants to restart something with him, but at least she’ll keep the place tidy. Marcia orders them to pitch in. She also claims the master bedroom.
2. Tom and Ali go to the church for marriage instruction. The woman reminds them of the sanctity of marriage and the importance of children.
3. Things are heating up at Aldo’s, and it looks like he’s gonna’ have better luck than he had at San Miguel Regla. Lety says that as a famous chef, he has many beautiful women chasing him. Aldo says there’s only one woman in his life. Just then, Carmina shows up in something low and strapless. Forward, much? We see Aldo doesn’t save all his angry glares for Lety. Carmina says that she had questions about the book, but she came with wine rather than a notebook. Lety decides she wants to leave too, despite Aldo’s protests.
4. The boys’ slumber party. Where do I begin? Who gets the bed? Fern tries to cheat at chin champu, but that doesn’t work. He tries a pobre mio face. Tampoco. He’s afraid that if he sleeps in the living room, Marcia will jump him during the night. Tampoco. So he climbs into bed with Omar and they settle in, until Fernando hollers, “Don’t spoon me!!!”
5. In the morning, Omar is caressing Fern’s foot, dreaming that it’s Aurora. Fern says Omar talks in his sleep. Omar says Fern grinds his teeth which means he has worms.
6. Because she’s jealous, Lety asks Aldo to cancel the meeting with Carmina. He assures her of his undying love. GSNAK. Carmina and Esther agree on Aldo’s hotness.
7. Fern arrives at work with Marcia just like the old days, but Fern clarifies. Omar lives with them, and Marcia adds that they’re like tres hermanos. Both Marcia and Aldo are surprised that Lety didn’t seem jealous.
8. Fern proudly tells Aldo that thanks to the expo and los tres hermanos selling their assets, Conceptos can pay Aldo half the debt. Aldo’s in no hurry, but Fern is very eager to get control of his company back. Fern asks Lety to help him with the forms for the transfer, and she says, “Yes, I’ll help you.”
9. Ali is sure that Marcia moved in with Fern to win him back, but Marcia corrects her. She wants to play Wendy to Peter Pan and the Lost Boy (Fern & Omar).
10. Lety tells Fern she can’t go to the shoot because she has something personal to do. Although Fern tries seven ways to Sunday, she refuses to say more. See the transcript. She asks him to not tell anyone she left. She just wants him to be happy, and he asks if she’s happy. She says her life has gotten complicated. Fern concludes that maybe Lety is seeing another man.
11. At the shoot, Aurora tells Luigi to go fetch her an herb tea and kiwi salad.
Spanish Lesson. Lety's Stepping Out.
L: Can I ask you a favor? Just take my messages. You don’t need to tell anyone I left the building.
F: Ahh! Not even Aldo? (He’s flirting and she giggles.)
L: No, not even him.
F: Wait! (Serious.) You believe me, don’t you? That I have absolutely NOTHING to do with Marcia.
L: Yes, that’s what I’m given to believe. Don Fernando, the only thing I want is for you to be happy.
F: And you, Lety, are you happy?
L: Almost always. But there are moments when.. All of a sudden, my life has gotten very complicated. (Lety leaves. Fern talks to himself in the cave.)
F: How could her life become complicated? It’s about work, right? No, she said it was something personal. I don’t understand. She has her life very much in order. She’s transparente (no hidden agenda; what you see is what you get). Nobody can think ill of her. Nor suspect her of something done in secret. That’s the opposite of me, when I was seeing two or three women at the same time. Yeah, my life sure was complicated. Ah, but what times those were. When Lety protected me so no one would discover my infidelities. (It suddenly dawns on him.) NO!!!

I need a little help, friends. After six months of covering ten hours of show per week, I’m burning out coming into the home stretch. Not for the show – I love it as much as ever – but for doing the write-ups and analysis. I’m losing steam. I know the three weeks ahead will be the most fun, but they’ll also be the most demanding for what I do. For the last the last three show days, the comments were way down. It’s the comments that give me the energy to keep going. Right now in the home stretch is when I need that energy most.
I don’t need the “we love you, Paula, you’re wonderful.” Never have. I took up this task in hopes that it would generate some fun discussions, and it has far exceeded my hopes in that department. But things got pretty quiet, the last few days (Wed/Thu/Fri). So I would just ask that we don’t poop out on posting, coming into the home stretch. Thanks!

I'm not exactly pooping out on posting - just pooping out in general because, which its characteristically perfect timing, my job will be very busy in the next couple of weeks, starting tomorrow. So it may be a struggle to keep up with comments as well as viewing.
But we can always get a debate going to keep things interesting. Here's a topic: How many of the standard telenovela "rules" (written and unwritten) has LFMB ignored or broken?
For example, there's an unwritten rule that a new hairstyle often reflects a change in attitude. Marcia has changed her hairstyle more than once, but these changes did not correspond with a change in attitude. (Except maybe the last one, but I'm not sure.)
But we can always get a debate going to keep things interesting. Here's a topic: How many of the standard telenovela "rules" (written and unwritten) has LFMB ignored or broken?
For example, there's an unwritten rule that a new hairstyle often reflects a change in attitude. Marcia has changed her hairstyle more than once, but these changes did not correspond with a change in attitude. (Except maybe the last one, but I'm not sure.)
Sorry Paula for the lack of comments. The last episodes have been rather silly. Not amounting to much. Too much filler.

I will comment about Lety/Aldo at his house. I think that Carmina arriving gave Lety an excuse to leave. Aldo was pushing pretty heavily with the wine and yucky kisses. But I didn't see Lety "heat up" like the time in Omar's apt with Fern. In fact, when she was saying goodbye to Aldo, it was quick little pecks goodbye.
I also will comment Aldo is losing it with his "Mr. NiceGuy". Him yelling at Lety? Bad, Bad, Bad. I loved how Fern stood up for Lety. And Lety allowed it! Fern becoming a patron to her client.
And lastly, (albeit greatly) Fernando in a white t shirt and sweatpants! Whoaaa.
The whole slumber party scenes were WAY TOO SHORT. I liked how Fern weaseled his way into the bed. And the comment he made to Omar, not to spoon him! Jajajajajajajajajaja
I'm thinking these next weeks have to pick up steam. Stuff has to move along faster, because Fernando and Lety MUST end up together. And it probably will be in typical TN style where the happy is limited to the last episode. I hope they give us more than that, we deserve more than one last episode of happy.

I read the comments on the old board and it brought up something I hadn't thought about.

Full circle. Lety as Aurora can’t remember Fernando's name. When Lety started at Conceptos, Fern kept calling her by a variety of wrong names because he never paid attention.
I think Jacques’ concept for the campaign is something like they did with the original Brazilian “Clon.” The star, Jade, would wear some beautiful jewelry, and then the associated company would sell matching jewelry to the public. I’m guessing that with Jacques’ campaign, RetroMod would be the main sponsor of the series, and during the show, Aurora would appear in commercials selling various clothing and accessories from the show.
Notice that nobody from Conceptos read the contract. And this is with Jax, who snuck that indemnity clause into the contract Omar signed. Remember how mad Fern was because Omar never read the contract?

Hola, all. I don't usually comment over here because I'm nearly always way behind on this show (too many others to watch), but I do appreciate the summaries. They really help me keep the action straight.
Man, I can't stand Aldo. He needs to go back to the 80s and take his hair with him.
I'm not really seeing the appeal of Aurora. Beanie time. I think Angelica Vale is really pretty but this Aurora do...that hair just creeps me out. The way it sits there, clinging to her head and shoulders like some moldering old fur, not moving...ugh. I don't know why I have such a negative visceral reaction to it. But if they all say she's hot stuff, then so be it.
I was glad when Omar and Caro kissed the other day. Now if he'd just get into the idea. I think they're a good match. He's not really evil, he's just an idiot, and Caro could keep him in line. It's time he gave up the stream of interchangeable women. Not really sure why Caro likes him, but she does. He is pretty funny.
How have these people stayed in business so long if they don't read contracts? I wonder if they'll develop better business practices by the end.

Diann I hear ya! that Lety sure has changed. Maybe this is another full circle trying to seduce as many men as possible. Remember as Aurora she has Omar eating out of her hand. I was feeling nostalgic and reviewed some of the earlier episodes when she had a brain and knew how to use it. she read contracts carefully avoided business pitfalls and made Fernando so proud of her at business meetings. she was like his little pet he would take her to meetings so she could show off the other guys. Gone are those days. Now no one bothers to read contracts.
I did like the slumber party but thought it was too short. That was one scene they could of played out longer. Does anyone notice how Fernando is always filmed sleeping on his stomach? I am thinking not to mess up his gelled hair. though it would be nice to have it messed up like Omar after tossing and turning. How did he land in that position when he and Omar were both sleeping next to one another?

Diann, you just had to go and remind me of Omar's apt. For those who weren't watching yet, check Pata's screenshots on the summary from Caps 95 & 96. Yes, the contrast in Lety's reaction is vast.
Diann, you also said, "we deserve more than one last episode of happy." Don't forget, we got the 30 episodes of bliss, before the letter. And really, in an unconventional way, we're getting some happy now. Notice how Fern and Lety are acting like buddies again?
Fernando is picking up momentum. When Lety’s not around he assumes the role of president. He assures Jax, “We’re very serious. Have confidence in my company.” Those are not the words of an asst!

Paula, you want comments. I've got them. Aldo is bi-polar. He goes off half-cocked at Lety and Fernando has to step in to rescue her. Afterwards, Aldo is suddenly all sweetness and light as he convinces Lety to come to his house that night. Then, Aldo concedes and allows Omar back but you can see by his demeanor and attitude that he finds Omar worthless. Since Omar can't do anything for him to advance Aldo's plan, he dismisses Omar like yesterday's rubbish.
Now on to the house debacle. Ever notice that when Aldo and Lety are in a "romantic" moment, and I use that term loosely, Lety uses her little girl voice. The kisses between Aldo and Lety were like those of two people just starting to date and not two people getting ready to do the horizontal mumba. When Lety was with Fernando at Omar's apartment, she was nervous but willing to follow Fernando's lead. They ended up making love.
I think Lety is beginning to overtly realize that a relationship with Aldo means sex. And the way Aldo pushes Lety, I don't think he's going to be very patient for very long. I don't think Lety can bring herself to have sex with Aldo not after she made love with Fernando. She knows inside of herself that she reached the mountain top with Fernando and with Aldo, she's just at base camp.
I also believe that the only reason Lety stopped Fernando when he was defending her against Aldo was to keep the two from fighting. She knows that Fernando will defend and protect her any way he can including, but not limited to, beating the tar out of Aldo.
The look on Fernando's face when he woke up as Omar was kissing his leg was priceless. Jaime Camil is just a great all-around actor, whether it is comedy or drama.
Okay, last point, at least for now. We need to watch Lety carefully because I think she is beginning to look at her relationship with Aldo differently. Yes, she declared they are novios, but I think she realizes that Don Fernando still holds a large chunk of her heart and that will not change.
I can't wait for Lety to be discovered as Aurora. She'll have to face up to her nasty actions towards Omar and probably have to apologize. I wonder how Aldo and Fernando will react. I think Fernando will be the positve person and Aldo will be pissed. Lety as beautiful Lety is more likely to give Aldo the heave-ho than Lety the Fea. Just my thoughts.

Now on to the house debacle. Ever notice that when Aldo and Lety are in a "romantic" moment, and I use that term loosely, Lety uses her little girl voice. The kisses between Aldo and Lety were like those of two people just starting to date and not two people getting ready to do the horizontal mumba. When Lety was with Fernando at Omar's apartment, she was nervous but willing to follow Fernando's lead. They ended up making love.
I think Lety is beginning to overtly realize that a relationship with Aldo means sex. And the way Aldo pushes Lety, I don't think he's going to be very patient for very long. I don't think Lety can bring herself to have sex with Aldo not after she made love with Fernando. She knows inside of herself that she reached the mountain top with Fernando and with Aldo, she's just at base camp.
I also believe that the only reason Lety stopped Fernando when he was defending her against Aldo was to keep the two from fighting. She knows that Fernando will defend and protect her any way he can including, but not limited to, beating the tar out of Aldo.
The look on Fernando's face when he woke up as Omar was kissing his leg was priceless. Jaime Camil is just a great all-around actor, whether it is comedy or drama.
Okay, last point, at least for now. We need to watch Lety carefully because I think she is beginning to look at her relationship with Aldo differently. Yes, she declared they are novios, but I think she realizes that Don Fernando still holds a large chunk of her heart and that will not change.

I've been disappointed with the Aurora look as well. I guess that they have to make her exotic and different from all the other gorgeous ladies that Omar has hung with. Also Angelica Vale is a bit more voluptuous than the other beauties. So having her as the image of a 50s retro look makes sense. Still --- the Rita Hayworth hair is a bit much.

Thanks Paula, for the post. Diane, we did see Lety with very messed hair earlier in the series. It was when Simon gave her a ride to the club on the back of his motor scooter, when she needed to get Fern's signature urgently. Her hair was hysterical and all over the place.

A belated thank you to Barbara for her thoughtful comments over the weekend. I agree that it has been great fun getting to know everyone and sharing ideas.
I do believe this is the first telenovela to ever get recapped TWICE on this blog. I think that says something significant, don't you all? And more amazing, every darn epsisode is TWO HOURS. Sheesh! Paula, when Llena started doubling up episodes a few weeks ago my first thought was "I can't believe Paula has been coordinating recaps every single day for two hour episodes!" I got a taste of it (still am) and it was eye opening.
I agree with Diann that the last couple of episodes last week seemed a little drab compared to previous episodes. Except the bachelor parties. Today things seemed to pick up quite a bit. Oh my, those screen shots from caps 95 and 96 are hot Hot HOT. Thanks for the link and the reminder. As Barbara notes, Lety's attitude toward Aldo's advances are very different from her previous attitude towards Fernando's. And wow, was she ever jealous when she heard Marcia was living with Fer. That moment alone got more of a reaction out of her than any GSNAK with Aldo.
I also like the office scene with Fernando and Lety, the one that Paula translated for the Spanish lesson. That was the sweetest scene between those two in a long time.
Possibly my favorite, though, was the slumber party scenes. Marcia is much more tolerable now that she's not blatantly after Fernando. I enjoyed watching her mess with the boys and really enjoyed their ensuing boys night in.

When Fern announced that he was ready to pay the debt, IOW remove Aldo from authority over the company, it was like the Continental Divide. Everything started rolling the other direction!

These are the times, Paula, when Lety shows how clueless she is. She doesn't understand tha Aurora is just Omar in drag. Instead, she lets Fernando defend her and then when she is alone with Aldo, she goes into that self-deprecating, childish mode. Lety is so clueless that she doesn't truly see how different she is with Fernando than she is with Aldo. Julieta can see it and so can Irma.

Güera, you said Angelica is more veluptuous than most TN women. I noticed something today. She jiggles!! I'll bet Jazmín doesn't jiggle! In fact, I was so surprised to see it, I suspect I've almost never seen it among TN women. There is certainly no lack of cleavage in TNs, but all those bean poles with plastic chests don't jiggle (maybe Paty Navidad would, if she was released from her steel girders). Hurrah for a real woman.

Lety certainly looked shocked about Fernando & Marcia living together but I'm not sure she was really jealous. Both Aldo & Marcia -- who both would be looking for it -- were each surprised by her lack of jealousy. She may actually care enough for Fernando to have really wanted him to find happiness. And she has always felt bad about Marcia. I think that she can't imagine a life without Fernando in it -- but that she thinks (wrongly) that his friendship is enough now that she has Aldo.

I just finished watching these caps...sorry I've been buried under wedding stuff and this week I have a freelance project that is taking up a lot of my time.
I agree with Guera I don't think Lety was jealous of Fern & Marcia's staying together - I think it was sort of surprise and a bit of awkwardness. I was surprised that she was jealous of Aldo's editor and I agree with Paula that Lety was sort of following along, but she wasn't really looking for any excuses to get out of there until the lady showed up. Then she started to discuss it with Julieta, but it seems they didn't really get into it so much.
I hate that Lety has turned into such a liar...honestly why wouldn't Aldo be suspicious of Lety? She's been caught in a lie by him now at least 3x. I agree he probably could watch his tone with her, but she's really not doing much to gain his trust...the whole Aurora storyline is just so annoyingly stupid. The fact that no one reads contracts, etc at that company is just mind boggling to me. Even at my most lax companies - all contracts had to be reviewed and at least initialed by the legal team before they were fully executed. If Jax required Lety to sign the contract at their meeting in the cap today then that means it was NEVER legally fully executed so he couldn't make them pay that stupid penalty fee. Those inconsistencies in the story sometimes drive me nuts.
I haven't had time to catch up on all of the detailed recaps even from the last week so I'm sure between me being a bit scattered and tired I've missed something...
In regards to the hairstyles changing - I'm looking forward to one day Fern coming in without the hair gel. Just once!!
I really hope that they discover this Aurora foolishness soon. I hate that Lety didn't have the guts to just come out and say that she's the mystery woman, but I guess as is the case when you start out with a lie it just snowballs until you get caught. I have the feeling that Fern will discover her secret before Aldo will - so far Aldo hasn't had too many interactions with Aurora...I wonder if that's intentional?
is this new Aldo love interest popping up so that we won't feel bad if (when) Lety dumps him for Fern? GP Lety has always been a liar she us just doing it more and more and it seems to bother her less and less. She didn't like the idea of Marcia and Fern living together until Marci added that Omar was there as well. One can not help but wonder when the truth comes out about Aurora how all the men will react. Not well might be an understatement.
Loved the slumber party and how as soon as Marcia moved in she stared cleaning up and hanging pictures. Who would have thought that she had any domestic skills. We have now moved from the Odd Couple to Three's Company.
Funny how all of a sudden Aldo wasn't in any hurry to have any of the debt paid off. Does he suspect that when that happens Lety might have second thoughts about running off to Aca? Then again he might get lucky with his new editor who might just be another idiot who will fall in love with his blather about food and el mar.
Have to laugh about the comments about TN females and jiggling. A lot of them are so stuffed with silicon their boobs can't move. Have been watching Mar de Amor and one of the women has such overdone boobs it is insane and they are on constant view. And don't get me started on wearing 6 inch heels and tiny shorts while running around in the DF. At least in FEA most of the women wear normal albeit frumpy stuff excluding the cinched in Ali and PM and her belts and bra looks.
Paula can understand the burn out. I sometimes feel like that as well. At least we vets can see the end coming and grit out teeth over some of the remaining filler. God help me but I actually hope they cut some of the end and wrap it up neatly.

Aldo has resisted Conceptos repaying the debt at least 1x before Decie...Lety offered to do it a few caps. back and his excuse then was that they needed it to provide capital for the next project. I agree he thinks that if he allows the debt to be re-paid so quickly he won't have a snow ball's chance in hell of getting Lety to return to Acapulco with him.
In thinking about Lety's evolution as a liar - you're right. The first time I remember noticing it was when she lied to her parents about her job at Conceptos in the very early caps. I guess then it seemed harmless just because she was protecting their feelings. Maybe the way Lety justifies continuing her lies now is that if the truth ever got out - the fallout would be massive, which I think it will be anyway.
I think that Aldo would probably be most upset with her because he's the one that is her novio. GP Have to laugh about wondering how Conceptos functions on a day to day basis since no one ever seems to do anything except perhaps Luigi. They sign contracts without reading them or passing them through legal, a department they probably don't even have, buy equipment without knowing it is hot and the list goes on. Actually I think they do survive because they have lots of other employees who do the work. i remember Lety mentioning numbers once. The executive secretaries, if you can call them that, never work. They just gossip, eat and have meeting in the loo.
Considering the amount of work that doesn't get done Conceptos could be run by a group of orangoutangs and it wouldn't be in worse shape.

I really hope they repeat the Lety/Fernando and Fernando in the hole scenes at the beginning of today's ep.
Today's eps are priceless esp the scenes related to Paula's calling the patron/client switch-off... this began at the end yesterday but will be clearly the focus of most of today's ep..
Regarding the full circle and the 'son of marcia' and Lety behaving as Omar... so funny how all those roles seem to have been switched around in the last few eps... and now with the Carmina Character, if she gets into Aldo's skin, Lety will turn into the 'daughter of Marcia' if she does not watch herself... You don't really understand what someone else goes through until you have to step in their shoes... and these last few eps, at least in the Fer/Lety/Aldo/Carmina circles, have been all about that.
Full circle again because Fernando and Omar began the seduction plan based on their misinterpretation of Lety's actions and absences.
Fernando is understanding Lety much more now that he sees how easily someone could interpret the information or lack there-of as 'so and so is having an affair and hiding it from their fiancee'.
Lety, by the same token, is understanding what Fernando went through when he kept having to maintain the double and triple life... And who better than Fernando to understand when she says her life is getting complicated? Poor Fernando... remember his theme is 'Lety must not suffer' but when he does not know what is bothering/anguishing her, that makes his job of protecting her from pain and suffering that much harder.
Having said that, I LOVE the Fernando of these last few and next few episodes... we did not get to see any of this in YSBLF, it was just hours between Omar's apt and Betty reading the letter, and an episode between the reconciliation and the 'fin'.
This phase of the Fernando/Lety relationship, along with the 'bliss after Omar's apt' is what makes me appreciate and enjoy some of the 'phases' of LFMB.
Today's eps are priceless esp the scenes related to Paula's calling the patron/client switch-off... this began at the end yesterday but will be clearly the focus of most of today's ep..
Regarding the full circle and the 'son of marcia' and Lety behaving as Omar... so funny how all those roles seem to have been switched around in the last few eps... and now with the Carmina Character, if she gets into Aldo's skin, Lety will turn into the 'daughter of Marcia' if she does not watch herself... You don't really understand what someone else goes through until you have to step in their shoes... and these last few eps, at least in the Fer/Lety/Aldo/Carmina circles, have been all about that.
Full circle again because Fernando and Omar began the seduction plan based on their misinterpretation of Lety's actions and absences.
Fernando is understanding Lety much more now that he sees how easily someone could interpret the information or lack there-of as 'so and so is having an affair and hiding it from their fiancee'.
Lety, by the same token, is understanding what Fernando went through when he kept having to maintain the double and triple life... And who better than Fernando to understand when she says her life is getting complicated? Poor Fernando... remember his theme is 'Lety must not suffer' but when he does not know what is bothering/anguishing her, that makes his job of protecting her from pain and suffering that much harder.
Having said that, I LOVE the Fernando of these last few and next few episodes... we did not get to see any of this in YSBLF, it was just hours between Omar's apt and Betty reading the letter, and an episode between the reconciliation and the 'fin'.

Guera, thank you for posting that! I left the house this morning at 9 Pacific, and I hustled to get recap posted before I left. Hooray for me! But I forgot to post it do the sidebar. Boo for me! I've been in meetings since then and just got back. Had you not asked, Guera, I'd still be sitting here wondering why almost nobody posted to today's summary after such a fabulous show! Doh! Now it's fixed.

GP, thank you for the answer. Until the problem gets resolved, I have two bandaide solutions.
1. Check the COMPLETE list of recap titles, as opposed to the list of Fea-only recaps. Someone said the complete list included the ones gobbled up in the glitch. You probably want to put that link into your Favorites for now.
2. At the end of the comments on ANY Caray recap page, you'll see a link labeled "Home." That will take you to the full text of all recent recaps, but no comments. To see the comments, click on the "Permalink" link at the end of the recap you want to see.
The problem is, this glitch is intermittant. Some people can see the new summaries and some people can't.
