Corazon Guerrero Episode 10 part 1 of 2

Mari remembers how she was able to get rid of Carlota by running to her car. But she was so scared, she didn’t pay attention to her driving and got two flat tires, so now she has to wait at the shop, for the guys to fix her car. Valero is happy to help.

Mari calls Isaia, who is with his family, so he doesn’t answer.

Domenica tells Augusto he had a big problem with the airline company, but can’t give all the details, because Victoriana arrives with Emma, who feels bad.

Valero arrives with the news that someone needs a mechanic, that someone is Mariluz. Jesus goes running, but Mari doesn’t need his help. Jesus can’t believe she’s still with Isaia, so they just agree to go their separate ways. Lupita calls and while Mari is on the phone, Jesus realizes she has to be at the flowers market for a job and offers to help again. He can even take her to the market while Valero and Damian fix her car. Deal!

At the market some light flirting happens, the florist lady thinks they are dating because it shows they are in love. And she also asks for Conchita’s help with Augusto again, she and some other small business owners need more time before they can pay him back. Mari promises to help.

Later Jesus asks for more details from the florist, wants to know when she and the other people indebted to Augusto will meet.

Mari thanks Jesus for his help. He offers her a sunflower, she’s just like that, too, always searching for the light. Mari loves sunflowers, they make her feel happy

Sam’s teacher has arrived and she is severe, rude and unlikable ….. Jesus is unhappy with her, doesn’t plan to keep her.

Domenica is tending to Emma. Adrian sends her a message and she calls him – he invites her at a party, but she can’t go. He decides he’s going to see her.

Domenica is checking out Damian from her room. He’s smoking in his usual place, and she closes her window. He wonders if she’s an angel or a demon. She gets another call from Iker and this time she answers – she blames him for her legal troubles and says she will tell her father all about it.

The doctor says Emma is alright. Victoriana was worried for a second, but now she has a massage scheduled. She runs into Adrian outside and throws him out. Damian sees him and Adrian tells him he won’t use Emma for their vengeance, but he plans to find information about Augusto from her. Damian promises not to tell Jesus about his plan.

Augusto fights with Victoriana over Carlota. Nobody has seen her ever since she caused Emma’s crisis, but there she is, she comes running into her father’s arms.
Adrian and Emma chat on video and then Adrian reads to her from his book until she falls asleep. Domenica is there to tuck her in.

Damian wonders about Domenica, too. She seems so good, but she could be a criminal. Jesus realizes he likes her, but Damian refuses to accept this, since they have to use her as part of the plan. As Sam listens to them, Damian says they need to be careful with their younger brother, because he likes Domenica a lot. And Jesus is a problem, too, since he likes Mari more than Carlota.

Carlota is afraid Jesus will find out she is sick, but Augusto promises never to tell him. How she wishes she was normal, why is this happening to her?
Mari is telling Conchita and Lupe who attacked her, it wasn’t Isaia’s ex-wife, it was another crazy woman.

Corazon Guerrero Episode 10 part 2 of 2

Augusto asks Fede to prepare everything for a Vegas trip with the family. He’s upset because apparently Fede went too far with Abel, they were only supposed to scare him and get some information out of him. Fede assures him they will cover their tracks, while some guys behind him are burying a body.

Emma and Adrian are preparing for their dance competition. And it’s the big day of the gala. Mari and Domenica hope they will gather a lot of money and Domenica would like Mari to be with her tonight. She brought a dress Mari can borrow.

Victoriana doesn’t want Emma to go to the contest, she’s not healthy enough yet. Augusto who barely pays any attention to them, asks Victoriana to allow Emma to go.

Jesus and Damian talk about Augusto’s deals and how his daughters have no clue what he’s doing for work. Jesus wants to help the small business owners, but for this he needs Abel and he hasn’t had any news from him recently.

Carlota arrives and wants Jesus to go with her at the gala, even if their siblings will be in competing teams.

Emma is doing a video live and Adrian hurts himself while trying to avoid to run into her with his board. Emma offers to compete in Adrian’s place and the other girl from the group reluctantly teaches her how to dance hip hop.

It’s night time and Mari is in charge of assigning the seats. She sees Jesus arrive with Carlota, and is not happy about it. She fantasizes about Jesus saying in front of everyone that she is the one for him. Domenica welcomes the entire family, too. Mari asks Augusto to talk to Conchita later. Damian kisses Domenica’s hand, he missed her this week. He tries to remember himself that getting close to her is only part of their plan.

Domenica is happy Sam can read the name of the gala. Jesus keeps looking at Mari, while Carlota says can’t wait to dance with him. Mari is sad to look at the happy couple together, even Domenica realizes something is off with her. When she mentions Jesus is Carlota’s novio Domenica says no way, she wishes! This leaves Mari even more confused.

Domenica introduces the dance competition, but before that, a big round of applause for their greatest benefactor, who gets a big Reconocimiento for his good deeds. It’s Augusto, of course, and he joins Domenica on stage. Jesus leaves Carlota’s table and goes to sit with his brothers. Fede gets a call from someone telling him that Domenica can’t get into the US.
The guys who owe Augusto money arrive now to ask for his help, and of course he can’t say no in front of such a big audience. Damian is happy with Jesus’ idea to force Augusto’s hand.
But Augusto is furious, he asks Fede to find out who put these guys up to this, Fede doesn’t have the time to tell him about Domenica.

Emma is still practicing, tells Adrian she feels great. But one of the guys comes to say that they have to do the dance with the team members they have registered, or else they will be disqualified.

Lupe agrees with Conchita that Jesus is a great guy, but he’s involved with someone else, they can’t encourage Mari to fantasize about him.

Mari goes outside and Jesus follows in spite of Damian’s warnings. He wants to tell her she is beautiful. And when he will be free, nothing will keep them apart. She wants to leave, almost falls, but Jesus catches her in his arms and they start kissing. He stops her briefly, “you shouldn’t have”, he says, then they get back to more kissing. It’s in slow motion, so you know it’s true love.

RGV, thank you for the page!
What if we have only one page a week for the daytime shows? This way you wouldn't need to add a post in the middle of the week and we can very well use this page for the whole five days.

Adriana, thanks for the suggestion, but after a few days, comments have to be moderated and approved (by me) in order to be show up as posted; so I would prefer to put up two pages per week.

Thanks again Adriana for the recap! My heart melted when Adrian started reading to Emma! I haven’t cared much about this pairing one way or the other but my little book worm heart just loves that detail!!!

Victoriana is weird with Emma, just when you are sure mommy dearest doesn’t care at all, she does something that shows true concern and then is right back to cold hearted witch. This lady would probably be a fascinating study for some psychologist!

Jesus having those men confront Auggie in public was a great move! So much smarter than seduction for revenge/Justice… just saying..

Guerrero

Thanks Adriana & Darcy for the recap and notes.

For sale by owner: 4XL Beanie stretched to the max (original size: Medium)! Emma is evaluated and released by a medical doctor. Then she proceeds to inadvertently ambush Adrián. Then she proceeds to learn ALL of the competition’s chereo just in time to compete on BOTH teams?!! Only to find out the opposing team may be disqualified. Whomp. Whomp. If it weren’t for their little Reading Rainbow moment, I’d be done with this couple.

I hope we get more Rescue Pup (Sam) today!

O.S.

PS I initially thought the woman’s husband needed help with some dubious debts with Augie. I’m glad they fleshed out that it was actually a collection of landowners. Team Chucho!

Carlota has started to seem rather scary. I kept thinking when this would happen. What exactly is wrong with her? It seems a strange kind of illness. I know I haven't seen anything like this before because the crazy ones I've seen just rant and rave or are outright cruel.
The bit with all these men showing up was great. I loved it as much as Lupe saying in a previous episode that love at first sight is a unicorn- this one was entirely because I could understand her and the word unicornio just made me laugh.
Thanks for saying those men had their own businesses because I kept trying to hear the word used to describe them but couldn't.
I wonder what 'Gustito' really feels for his wife. He frequents prostitutes so no respect for the lady on his part. But he isn't outright horrible to her either, which is not what I expected. But I won't be able to suffer through his interactions with Guadalupe because I hate the idea of those two getting back together.
to me Samuel is the star of the show. The rest of them don't interest me as much.
Victoriana getting a massage because she needed to relax after all that stress made me laugh. It's not funny, but her behaviour is often so absurd that I have no choice but to laugh. And she did want to get Carlota away from her daughters so at least she doesn't want them to die. That's a low bar I know.

Hey all, Adriana had some internet issues today and was unable to watch and recap. I am just getting home myself and have not watched yet and will not have time to do a recap of today's episode. If anyone else wants to give it a shot you are more than welcome, if not we can just discuss today's episode freely.

I will be back to comment after I see the episode!

Guerrero

This was a good episode. Mariluz and Jesus's kiss ended with an argument but no surprise there. I can't figure out why he thinks it's reasonable to ask her to wait while he goes on a revenge quest - and without even explain what 'the mission' is anyway! Really?

Sam tries to kiss Domi and gets rejected. Sad, but better sooner than later and although I'm sure he's disappointed he didn't seem devastated, so maybe he'll make it through this Domi thing without getting his heart totally shattered. Damian on the other hand, does get the kiss! After chickening out downstairs when saying goodnight he scales the building and goes for the surprise kiss! It was pretty steamy too! I haven't thought much about the chemistry between these two since they haven't really gotten close yet, but it worked.

I find it shocking that Lupe is so willing to accept Isaia. It's totally projection she wanted Auggie to chose her way back when so now she's so impressed that he left the other woman for Mari (supposedly) that she isn't even thinking about the fact that he lied, cheated, messed around with Mari while married with a small child and now is supposedly willing to leave his wife and children for his unwitting side chick?? That is not a prize my friends.

I was surprised Domi was sent to check Adrian's injury, is she a doctor too now? And more surprised Damian told her that Adrian is their cousin - don't they want Auggie to believe they are four brothers??

And the most emotional part of the episode, Jesus losing it with Samuel when he finds him on the phone with Tata!! That was so hard to watch and so well acted!!! Both actors did a phenomenal job! It was heartbreaking but understandable on both of their parts. Jesus just can't understand his brother's pain and trauma and it kills him. He worked so hard to reconcile his family and he expected it to just fall into place and it's not that easy. Then from Sam's point of view everything is broken and he doesn't fit in anywhere and he can't be like his brothers; he NEEDS someone to acknowledge that instead of just ordering him not to feel the way he feels. It was so sad when he said 'I'm not like you, I don't know things' and started crying! The one lighthearted part that made me smile is when he was talking about loving the family. He said I love you, and Damian and VALERO!! Hehe.

What stuck out for you an this episode? I am sure I am barely scratching the surface but that's what I remember being most impacted by!

I hope everyone is having a good week and is ready for Christmas. It is getting ready to get super cold here so I am getting all my in office days out of the way so I can stay home and stay warm!

Guerrero

Darcy, thanks for the recap. If the surface were a beard, you’d be Memo.

What stuck out:

We begin with kisses, flashbacks, and the unsung hero of the show so far: the man diary.

Isaías shows up with his divorce papers to plead his case. He gets beat down and run off with what appears to be an oar.

Valero waxed poetic to Sam about love and kisses, and for a minute, I thought Univision went all Edward Scissorhands with the editing, but it made sense later.

Augie not only received kudos for the evening, but an invitation into the political arena as well.

The dance competition starts. Someone wise once said, “If you don’t have something nice to say…”. The end escapes me; hence, both teams’ moves were stiffer than the aforementioned oar. Another stretched out beanie is up for grabs at eBay. Emma gives her prize monies to Adrián.

For some reason Guadaloooy is crying at home. Turns out she’s just jinxing herself - thinking success is just around the corner. Isaías calls, cries, and lies (in that order).

The jet-setting Corqueras must be unavailable as the Ruiz-Montalvo are reduced to dining with Los Salgado.

My ears and Srta. Closed Captioning (miss you, Andy!) fooled me. I thought everyone was headed on a collision course to TACO MACHO which is a fantastic name for an eaterie. Come to find out it’s Taco MACHU which is much more exotic. 2 things happen here: you almost feel sorry for Lil Miss Loony Tunes as she’s quite sweet and likable when free from rage and/or matches. Also Isaías pays for the check. #pissingmatch

Anyone catch the Olympic side eye Damián gave when Dom told Emma that Augie wouldn’t tolerate dishonesty?

Dom & Dam have a tender moment - she appreciating the bond and harmony he has with his siblings. That is when he, as mentioned, reveals Adrian’s true place in the group. Valero and Sam burst in looking for their Adrianelo (LOL). Then they all bear hug Adrián despite his wonky foot. These actors MUST be thick as thieves because their chemistry is so natural and believable.

Mariluz (back home in a room awash with flowers) daydreams about Jesùs asking her for more time. Grandma tells her never to lose hope.

Guadalupe is glam slammed for the BIG job. Jesús tells Mari her man is a punk then goes to report Don Abel missing.

Earlier, I’d asked for more Sam. Well be careful for what you wish. THAT.LAST.SCENE. So powerful. So dramatic. So well-acted. It’s still allergy season, right? Right? That’s why my eyes wouldn’t stop watering.

O.S.

Guerrero

O.S., that was fantastic!! 'If the surface were a beard, you’d be Memo.' LMAO, I love it!! Thanks for my morning laugh!

I've had the feeling you'd be an excellent recapper if you tried and you proved me right! If you'd like to join the recapping team, Adriana and I would be thrilled to have you join us!! Just let us know! It's wonderful to hear the voices and perspectives from multiple writers and I so enjoy your humor.

I agree with you about Carloca, she's so likeable in some scenes that I get mad at Jesus for being so stiff and uncaring toward her, then she does something loca and I remember she's crazy.

Guerrero
Thanks for the recaps. O.S, thanks for mentioning that scene with granma and Mari because I kept trying to hear what was the word the granma used and later decided it sounded like ilusion.
When Jesus kept saying he couldn't understand what was up with Sam I was like 'and what doyou think? Stockholm syndrome.' On the one hand, I get how this makes no sense to him. But maybe it shouldn't be all that surprising given that Sam was abused and tata is the only person he's had in his life for many years. Jesus should readup on abuse victims.
Lupe didn't surprise me at all. It's quite sad she came to have such a low bar for a partner. I doubt Isia sacrificed all that much by divorcing his wife. Maybe he already wanted to be rid of her and Mari just gave him an excuse. I hope he has to pay a hefty child support, though. If he's supposed to be rich, how did these two meet?
I bet Damian will get a scolding from Jesus for admitting Adrian is their cousin.
I sometimes feel sorry formis Luny tunes (nice name btw) but then he can be pretty scary and dangerous. I wonder what exactly is wrong with her. I remember thinking at first that she likes setting things on fire.
Poor Samuel. He and Carlota are the only two characters that are interesting to me. Others aren't that intriguing. Well, Victoriana can be funny and she surprised me in the previous episode. Lupe, on the other hand, irritates me with her 'look how wonderful he is for divorcing his wife for my precious darling' and 'I don't want to talk about it but you must do as I say.' That last one sounds a lot like what Jesus expects. Maybe these two should get together. But Jesus can't marry her and that's an essential requirement.
So Valero found Sam a teacher? How? Where? In his 'revistas'?

Guerrero – Capitulo 12 parte 1 de 4

We return with Tata calling Sam to manipulate him into feeling sorry for him since he’s supposedly dying and wants to say goodbye, when in reality he is sipping his beer with a stupid self-satisfied smile on his face! Jesus comes in and wants to know who Sam is talking to and he flips out when he hears it’s Tata. (This was a really powerful scene and both actors did a phenomenal job with it) Jesus just can’t understand why Sam would want to talk to Tata or return Domi’s passport to her!!! Doesn’t her care about his family? Why? Why? Why? What is wrong with you? He yells over and over again at his terrified brother not even allowing Sam to look down at the floor but rather demanding he look at him when he’s speaking to him. Sam listens in shaken silence until Jesus is done and then he starts crying as defends himself saying Tata gave him food and a place to live. Jesus doesn’t even know him! Sam loves his brothers and Valero (LOL) but he isn’t the same as the rest of them. He doesn’t know anything! He’s different and Tata is his family too, a little… Damian has come in and runs to hug his brother; Jesus too, is moved with compassion by his brother’s pain and goes to comfort him. He promises they will never be apart again. They each show the symbolic hearts their father gave – the Corazon Guerreros!

It seems dating in the middle of the afternoon is something all Guerreros do, because Damian has taken Domi bowling! Damian is a good bowler we assume from his immediate strike; Domi not so much, we learn, as her ball goes into the gutter. Cue the ‘guy teaches the girl the sport while flirting more than teaching scene’ and which ends with Domi doing a full-on happy dance when she manages to plow down 8 out 10 pins on her second try!

Auggie finally finds out Domi was deported and we finally find out why! She’s under investigation for money laundering! He storms out of his office demanding to see Domi, who is bowling as we know. Vicky doesn’t know where she is and doesn’t really care until Mica informs Mr. and Mrs. that Domi left with Damian and then Vicky has a lot to say!!! Auggie set a bad precedent by allowing Carlota to date Jesus but it ends there. HER daughters are not going to be dating any low-class mechanics!!! Can you imagine if one of my friends saw Domenica with a mechanic?

Domi and Damian are now eating and he’s asking about her life oversees. She says she was a flight attendant because she loves traveling and she wanted to be independent of her dad. Damian asks why she quit then, and she claims it’s just because she got bored and missed home. Domi says she’s not enjoying the interrogation and Damian says he isn’t trying to interrogate her. What he really wants to know is if she left a boyfriend over there. Domi laughs and says, so you want to know if I have a boyfriend? Yes, Damian admits, he’s dying to know. Domi pauses a moment and then says no, I don’t have a boyfriend and I’m not looking for one either. As she’s speaking, we see a young man arriving at the airport and going through security, I’d bet big money this is Iker. Domi says she’s single and she plans to stay that way for a while. Damian asks her if she liked the kiss the night before and she smirks a little and tells him she isn’t an easy girl. Damian assures her that he doesn’t like them easy.

Why is Emma still friends with this girl?? Sigh, I don’t know, but they are in her backyard talking. Emma wants to talk about Adrian and Renata is as always fan girling Rodrigo! Emma gets some texts from Adrian saying he isn’t doing much just chilling in his room reading since he’s hurt and can’t go out. Emma wants to go cheer him up and her amigita says don’t count on me!! If it were about Rodrigo, she’d help in a second but if it isn’t Rod, she’s out. Emma looks like she knows her friend is useless but she doesn’t say anything.

Guerrero – Capitulo 12 parte 2 de 4

Emma sets off alone to go visit Adrian and finds him reading as he said. He’s surprised and excited to see her. She brought stuff for a picnic and Fuego is happy to see her too. Adrian knows just the spot for the picnic and as they sneak past the staff Adrian actually barks to camouflage Fuego! LOL They set up a nice picnic and Adrian asks Emma to be his girlfriend. She says yes, and the first kiss follows, soft and sweet.

Vicky is predicting her own death by promising Maurice she’ll die if one of her daughters ends up dating one of those mechanics!! (Both of your daughters are dating mechanics, keel over already!) They laugh over the horror of it all and then move on to brighter (for them) subjects. They are so excited because the moment as come for their plan to be completed.

We see Mari, Lupe, and Conchita arrived at the home of the ‘wedding’ but there is no wedding of course! Lupe tries to insist but the confused guard assures her there’s nothing on the agenda. Lupe calls Maurice and Vic cackles and insists he put Lupe on speaker phone so these two idiots can actually enjoy destroying the livelihood of innocent hard-working people. Maurice lies that the wedding was cancelled at the last minute and that he has no idea what Lupe will do with all the flowers but it’s not his fault or his problem! BYE!!! (Anyone else notice Lupe sometimes calls her mom, Conchita? That’s a little weird)

Lupe understandably freaks out!! 10,000 flowers, all the money they spend on the flowers, she lost her job… Lupe faints and Mari and Conchita scream for help. Meanwhile, stupid Vicky is laughing her head off.

Carlota and Jesus are also off together this afternoon. On a sailboat in the sun, and though Jesus looks a little serious and Carlota a little desperate; the sunny day reflecting off the water as the boat sails smoothly looks like paradise!

Emma and Adrian continue to enjoy young love and Emma’s alarm goes off as it’s time for her shot. She nervously tells Adrian she has diabetes and Adrian just kind of shrugs and says, oh like Jamie! I help him with his injections sometimes, I can help you too if you want. Emma is relieved and gives herself a shot. She asks Adrian to promise they will always be honest with each other and Adrian flashes back to his conversation with Damian about using Emma to find out more about Auggie. Back to the present, and he promises and kisses her again. He says he has something to tell her too……he doesn’t know how to cook. Emma laughs.

Sam is alone in his room thinking about the plan for justice and how it’s not good for Domi. It’s not fair, she’s going to get hurt! And she’s good, he knows she’s a good person! Valero interrupts bursting with excitement, Sam’s new teacher is here! Sam doesn’t want a new teacher!!! Oh, you’ll want this one, Valero insists. We see a nice young lady, dressed to flatter all her curves, happily dancing around the shop as Valero leads Sam back to meet his reading teacher! LOL She dances all around a confused but amused Samuel and when she puts out her hand he spins himself instead of spinning her!!! You guessed it, folks, she’s under the impression Sam is her new dance student (check out Valero cracking up in the background) She’s Selena and she looks like she likes what she sees as she snuggles up to Sam once again. I’m guessing she’d be willing to teach him a few things, but we’ll have to wait to see if ‘how to read’ is among them!

Guerrero – Capitulo 12 parte 3 de 4

Carlota opens another bottle of champagne but Jesus is afraid they are drinking too much. Carlota wants to relax and have fun; I don’t think Jesus has that button. Carlota isn’t giving up though and she finally goes in for a kiss which Jesus allows for a moment but then pushes her away and tells her they agreed to go slow. He doesn’t notice their captain was filming the whole thing! Carlota wants another, date that is; Jesus reluctantly agrees. They are interrupted by a phone call which Carlota encourages him to answer and it’s someone calling with news about Abel finally. Jesus urgently asks, where is he? How is he?

There’s a doctor tending to Lupe. She fainted due a spike in her blood pressure and stress. She needs to rest, take her medicine and avoid stress. Mari says, gee doctor, that’s gonna be hard at the moment, we’re going through an economic crisis! The doctor says he knows, but you gotta put your health first! (LOL) He leaves the bill and tells them to call if they need anything. Mari wonders where she will get the money for the meds and Lupe fights with Conchita because she needs to get out of bed and resolve the problem, not rest! The girls finally get Lupe to go to sleep, or so they think; a second later she’s up again and lamenting their position. Lupe thinks Mari she should ask Isaia for help since he loves her so much!!! But he’s having lunch with his not ex-wife and doesn’t answer.

Later alone with Conchita, grandma advises Mari to forget mom’s pressure and listen to her heart – ie. Jesus. Mari says she’s going to do neither, she’s going to study, finish her schooling and start her career! That way she can get them all out of debt.

I can’t figure out why Carlota needs to be carried off the boat but Jesus does it. She pretends to be supportive of the fact that their date is cut short so he can run off to see his friend, but it’s obvious she’s annoyed. Jesus says Abel is more than a friend he’s like a father to him!! And Carlota backs off a little. (Darcy was just thinking that after all Jesus’s lectures to his brothers to be careful what they said to Auggie’s daughters, Jesus shouldn’t be telling Carlota something so intimate about his relationship to Abel) It does seem like Abel is alive though since Jesus needs to go see how he is, so that’s good.

Domi and Damian arrive home and Domi is like ‘bye’! Damian wants to be invited in and Domi tells him to go out with Carlota, she’ll invite him in! (LOL) Damian gets no goodbye kiss either, just a wave. She told him she’s a difficult woman. He gets out of the car and leaves but is still outside to see and hear when Iker arrives unexpectantly, jumps into Domi’s car and greets her with a kiss!!!

Domi pushes Iker away and he begs her to go somewhere and talk. Domi agrees, let’s go deal with this once and for all. They drive off before Damian can make it back to demand answers.

Emma and Adrian are still lingering at their picnic, Adrian suggests Emma spend the night with Fuego and tomorrow he’ll come and get them and go to the park. Emma doesn’t like the idea and when asked, she admits her parents don’t want her to date him. They are closed-minded and if they find out they will forbid them to be together. Emma doesn’t want to be separated from him. Te Amo, she declares. Adrian is reluctant to sneak around but he agrees since they has no choice. More kisses.

Adrian’s friends are talking about how he’s is off with some girl and jealous Belen looks like she’s going to put a stop to this…

Guerrero – Capitulo 12 parte 4 de 4

Selena is now giving dance lessons to both Sam and Valero and I like this chick already, standing in the middle of a mechanic’s garage giving a dance lesson has got to feel strange but she’s all smiles and confidence! Sam trying to move his hips like her is hilarious too! Damian comes home and looks suspicious but he doesn’t come right out and say, ‘why is everyone dancing and not reading’, and Valero says some nonsense about creative learning techniques. Samuel says he’d rather learn with Domenica and this puts Damian firmly on team Selena! I’m pretty sure Selena still thinks she was hired to teach dance…

Big shock Emma and Adrian are caught! Emma is told to leave; Adrian is going to be punished. Belen is right there with the staff members and it’s pretty obvious she led the ladies to him but she somehow still has the nerve to tell Emma it’s HER fault Adrian is being punished?? She says she knows girls like Emma and they can’t be trusted! All she’s going to do is hurt Adrian! Emma says that’s not true and Belen doesn’t even know her. What’s up, are you jealous? Emma hits the nail on the head.

Speaking of jealous, Damian is complaining to everyone that Domi is a liar. He saw her kiss that guy, he must be her boyfriend! Valero says a kiss is just a kiss, isn’t that right Jesus? He shows Jesus the post of him kissing Carlota from her Instagram. Valero goes on a hilarious rant about how he’s kissed every girl in town – well, all the domestic employees anyway! LOL This gives Jesus an idea, is Mica one of Valero’s conquests? Not yet, but she will be! Valero is now officially part of the plan, his mission is to seduce Mica and get information….like yesterday! He runs off and Jesus says if this dude is Domi’s boyfriend it’s going to complicate the plan, and our life, Sam adds.

Iker is trying to talk his way out of hot water with Domi. He didn’t mean to set her up. He was just trying to make money for their future!! He didn’t mean for any of this to happen, he loves her and he’s going to fix this and prove her innocence! Please just give him a chance. Domi says he better fix this but I’m not seeing any signs she is going to give him another chance.

Aw, poor Sam, he’s still trying in vain to convince his brothers that Domenica is Buena! Let me talk to her, he says. Nope, no way. Don’t talk to her, don’t ruin the plan! Forget about seeing Domenica! Forget about it! If you don’t want to help fine, but don’t ruin the plan! So, I guess Sam is out now, but I don’t think Sam was ever exactly in so not much has changed there.

Waterlily, thank you! I laughed at your comment because ironically Lupe would serve well for Jesus's revenge purposes since she is the woman Auggie supposedly loves.. but that would be a mess for Mariluz.

I like most of the characters here. I don't necessarily love them all - but I find most of them at least likable. Victoriana is the only one I truly have a hard time with. I agree with you that Carlota and Sam are among the most interesting characters, but I also really like Domenica and Valero - even though I can't understand most of what he is saying. He's refreshingly straightforward and uncomplicated in the midst of a story where everyone else is a minefield waiting to explode.

Thanks, Darcy. I like how detailed these recaps are because I can read about the things I didn't understand.
Idon't feel especially sorry for telenovela characters all that often, but the Garcias' situation is tragic. I'm curious where they are going to get all this money. If Mari asks for Ikar's help, shehe'll be like a chewing gum stuck on her shoe- sticky and disgusting and impossible to scrape off. What he said to her confused me a bit because he said something about not telling her about the money because it was supposed to be a surprise. I mean, a suitcase full of cash discovered in her possession resulting in her deportation qualifies more like a shock. Is she supposed to believe he meant to show her all that money and be like 'oh look, darling, we've got a lot of cash.'They check things pretty well at the airports I imagine so he must haveeven more cash if he risked losing that suitcase. But Mari isn't stupid I hope.
I've never seen a telenovela where everyone is seducing everyone and everyone is pairing up. This sounds pretty funny. But once the girls find out the truth, the date nights are going to be over and I'll just get mad at them because they're going to forgive.
I wonder what daddy dearest is going to do once he learns his daughter was used by her own boyfriend. I know I'll enjoy seeing Vicky get all stressed out after this news.
I don't get why Jesus thinks Sam is just going to tell Dom he no longer will be her student. He clearly doesn't want to. I love that he can't lie.

Thank you Waterlily!

I agree Iker's explanation was clearly B.S. He's just hoping to smooth talk his way out of it and Domenica is too smart to buy his lines.

I do understand why Jesus and Damian are worried about Samuel telling Domi about the plan. Samuel is so innocent and trusting, he doesn't have a suspicious mind at all - not even with Tata which is amazing to me! He thinks/knows Domi is good and that he can trust her; I can see how if asked just the right question he might actually come clean. Not that he wants to betray his brothers, he doesn't; but he would believe that he could trust Domi not to tell Augusto where Jesus and Damian assume she would. I don't think they are going about it the right way - trying to forbid Sam to talk to Domi - but I can see why they are concerned.

As far as the plot goes, it reminds me in some ways of Pasion de Gavilanes (PdG) (the first season) or Tierra de Reyes (an adaptation of the first season of PdG) where the plot came down to three brothers seducing three sisters for revenge. There are a lot of differences in the overall storyline and motives but as far as the 'everyone seducing everyone and pairing up' part it's similar. Both PdG and Tierra de Reyes were excellent series btw, if you ever come across either I'd highly recommend watching them!

Okay, time to post today's recap but I'm going to post to the #2 page for the week
