Ginebra was peeved. Sabón said he had not located Mauro; it was like he had disappeared off the earth. None of her past associates had anything to say. Sabón speculated that it was due to her... condition. She would not accept this.

This was a merged episode. With the help of Blue Lass I was able to write the actual recap. ¡Muchísimas gracias, amiga!

Let's just say I HATE merged episodes. I'll divide this into two parts:

#93:

We get a scene with the goodbyes (it was longer in the original #93) before Esteban and Kenzo leave. They will be monitored by the police.

As they're driving, Gin's guys drive next to them and give them a phone, it's Gin. She asks them to drop their phones. Est whines about that not being the original plan, but she doesn't care. They thow their phones and she gives them instructions where to go, saying she knows the police were monitoring them, she's not stupid. Est asks what will happen if they don't go where she wants them to and Gin replies that Kenzo's family will die. Horrified, they go where they're instructed.

Some scenes might have been cut from my vid

We start with a very loooooong scene of Paz and Esteban showing the family some video and pictures they could not have taken/filmed and then an ultrasound, with a baby too big for Paz's flat belly, like Gema's. Maybe it's something in the water. Of course everyone gets super excited for the new baby, all the children included, because of course they do.

Kenzo and Felipa keep whining about problems THEY caused. Maybe they deserve each other.

 A doctor has come to check up on Paz. She is doing fine, he doesn’t think someone poisoned her. There is another possibility that requires a quick analysis. And, surprise, surprise, Paz is pregnant. Both Paz and Esteban are very happy. His kids, her kids and their kids. Yey!

Mireya felt better. She told Porfirio that it was Ginebra (not Mauro) who shot Humberto. The priest gave a few platitudes and Porfirio quoted the Old Testament about vengeance. However he told Mireya Humberto found her to be a good woman and she should honor him by recovering and living her life to the fullest.

Gin continues to exercise her zombifying power to turn good guys into bad guys on poor Kenzo. She threatens him with Jero's prints on the gun that killed Humberto, a paper trail showing dirty money transferred into his own account, and the Televisa makeup department. Does he want to be turned into a giant Italian sausage like Castro? No? Well then, his first assignment is to get rid of the body. His second is to pass Savon's business card to Esteban along with a hearty personal recommendation. (Is anyone else starting to wonder about this Deranged Science Academy that awards degrees in Child Kidnapping Psychiatry, Lethal Kitchen Chemistry, and Blood-Borne Surveillance? Geez, that was a dark and depressing episode. I hope I at least made you guys laugh a bit after all this gloom.

The little kids talk with our main couple about their schoolwork. Monito feels less then, he gets encouraged. They are all still scared about what happened, their parents tell them they are searching for someone to help them deal with everything.

The teens quarrel about what to do about Ginebra. Gala and Bosco want to act, Pepa and Salo think they should let the grown-ups deal with it. 

Lupita and Porfirio are in the Vila garden, courting (I don’t know how to call it otherwise, it’s sweet, and old-fashioned), Porfi asks Lupita to go steady.

Ginebra had the gall to tell the public on television that she had been unjustly arrested. She then said that justice would come for her accusers. Esteban was incredulous and outraged in view of the list of her crimes and the evidence presented. Humberto was equally astonished.

Sandro is sad he can’t see Felipa. Jeronimo and Kenzo try to comfort him. Kenzo evades a question about still loving Nandy.

Lupita is weeping over the fact that she loves Porfirio. A bit random, but she makes Nandy cry over Pretty Boy Kenzo.

The CSI Mexico City are investigating Rubio’s death. Elvira still hopes Gin had nothing to do with it but Esteban and Paz are sure she’s involved. Elvira understands their fear, she wants to go see her daughter. Humber thinks they should postpone the honeymoon, Esteban agrees that they have to protect themselves.

The kids are on the roof, Gala is trying to cheer them all up. Salo is impressed with her strength. Pepa says that it’s time for him to leave the country.

Fobo tells El to write down what she wants to get rid off and throw them in the fire. She writes down "culpa" (fault, blame), "doler" (to hurt), "triste" (sad) etc and burns them. El tells Fobo she loves him with the same intensity he has showed her and we get some kisses.

Paz emerges in her wedding getup and everyone oohs and aahs. Lupe gives her a pair of earrings for "something borrowed." For "something new," Sam hands her a drawing of an inexplicably blonde bride. Where's she supposed to put that? The camera pans to her deep cleavage. Okay, sure; plenty of room in there.

At the church, Sandro spooks when Nandy comes over to greet Kenzo. He bolts through the crowd, crashing into Mireya and upending her huge basket of flower petals. Humberto materializes to help her scoop them up, giving her significant appreciative looks. Well, it's about time. Good thing he's looking at her from the front, though, because that freakish ponytail is truly terrifying.

Now Esteban is pacing nervously. Paz is late! Where is she? We're probably supposed to worry, but we know there's a dozen more episodes and they need her for all of them. A throaty tenor launches into the Ave Maria and...it's Monito! He has to get through several iterations before the bride shows up, but by the end I'm still in awe. Is there anything this kid can't do?

Ginebra asks for water from one of the guards, but she isn’t allowed to any until she gives her answer to the Don. They start to fight and Ginebra gets the upper hand, almost kills the other woman, two other guards have to remove her and they give her a good beating. But before they leave her alone, all bloodied and sour, she manages to threaten to kill them all.

We first get a repeat of the last scene of the previous episode, from the "I killed Berenice" part.

Sam is sad for Gin. Paz doesn't exactly explain why Gin was taken in prison ("she did some bad things"), but then again Sam is 7. We need a psychologist for this poor child. Sam asks her if it could be a mistake like Paz's, but from Paz's face it's an obvio no. They talk about the special connection they have ever since the day they met. When Sam asks her why does she think they connected immediately, Paz says "Because I'm your-" but Esteban enters and unwillingly ruins the opportunity. They talk about Kenzo and Sam asks them what happened. Esteban says that Kenzo had a little accident, but he's getting better, it's nothing. Sam comments that they're both acting weirdly. Btw, can she see her mom? Paz and Esteban exchange some looks.

We get 7 minutes of Mir and Mau talking. Mau says he didn't want to hurt her, Mir says he did, but then says things like "I can see you as much more than a monster" and leaves open some opportunities for them to be an item. Mauro gets suspicious and says he won't fall in the trap, but kisses her anyway. I hope he hasn't ordered his yoga mat yet, because I refuse to recap a yoga scene with these two.

It's that time again! Karmageddon arrives to deal itself to the evil ones we have discussed and analyzed to a degree that Freud and Jung would applaud. Evil is escalating every day as all the Deadly Sins (Pride, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth) are committed. The usual questions apply:

Kenzo is venting histrionically to Esteban. All of this -- his ex, his kid, his not-kid, the money laundering -- is too much. He can't handle it! He feels nauseous! He wants to vomit! He must have missed the panic attack class last week and had to do a make-up lab. Esteban reminds him to breathe and assures him that they'll get through this together. After all, he's doing such a great job of managing his own household, why not take over Kenzo's, too?

Fobo continues to school Elvira in all the ways Gin is suspicious. She resists his arguments, but he points out that as her bodyguard, his first and only job is to guard her body (jeje -- he doesn't actually phrase it that way, but we're all thinking it.) He finally convinces her to "test" Gin by taking her out of the will and seeing how she reacts. Dude, are you nuts??? He better be glued to her side every second from here to the  lawyer's office, because that French Shooter is still out there.

Gin rounds the corner of Casa Roble just as Esteban and Paz are disentangling from one of their shmoopy goodbyes. How did she know to go there? Did she come straight from the railyard? Oh, who cares. I only peek out from under my beanie to take notes.

Reunited and it feels like I want to cry 

This is going to be a quick one, busy day ahead. Feel free to fill in the blanks. 

Paz and Sam are still hugging, Sam asks why Paz is laughing and crying at the same time. Paz says she’s happy. Happy to see her beautiful face and her smile, she’s waited so long for this moment and now they are finally together. Esteban is looking at them and he gets teary eyed, too, then goes inside allowing them to be alone. Paz asks Sam if she’d like to prepare with her one of the recipes she’s been keeping for her daughter. Sam agrees, she loves cooking with Paz and loves being back in this house. They go inside together, and they walk in slow motion, which is perfect because it gives me enough time to blow my nose and wipe my eyes – I might have been ugly crying during this scene.
