As far as I can tell, Velvet will be replaced for several weeks by three-hour segments (7-10 PM) of Top Chef! According to dondi, on Tuesday, October 7, Dinastía Casillas will begin at the 9 PM time slot. Right now, I have no further information.

**A new Turkish novela, Bahar: Esencia de Mujer, began on Telemundo this Monday, July 14, in the 10PM time slot. Here's a brief synopsis: "An unexpected shock prompts Bahar to resume her medical career. Upon returning to the hospital and working with her husband, she uncovers dark secrets that change her life." The novela was apparently an international success. It stars Demet Evgar and Bugra Gülsoy. More information may be available on Telemundo's website.
