La que no podía amar (LQNPA) April 17, 2012, Cap 80
That darn blabbermouth kid
This is another short bulleted recap, which hopefully will be expanded later. (UPDATE: It's been as filled out as it's gonna get!)
We start out with a screencap:
RECAP IN BRIEF (Events are not necessarily listed in order)
* It looks like Rutile is believed now to be the culprit for Maripaz's demise and Miguel is (finally!) off the hook. Macaria and Ulises apologize to Miguel. Consuelo does too, and she and Miguel hug and make up.
* Sinthia is now officially the Weakest Link. She has messed up the cattle thing soooo badly. She's told by the officials that this doping the cattle thing could land her (or someone) in jail. She begs Effer for help, but he tells her to accept the blame for messing up. She took the guards off the cattle, just to defy Cupcake and now she (Sin) is going to have to accept the consequences for that.
* The Gustavito gives Cupcake a rose and tells her some mushy stuff about how he'd die if anything were to happen to her or the hijo. Then he tells her about Miguel's good news. She's thrilled. Gustavito moves in for a kiss but Cupcake doesn't seem all that eager to be kissed by him. Tia walks in on this (interrupting the almost-kiss) and rips the Cupcake a new one for allowing all this to happen.
* Sin complains to Bruno about the clenbuterol. Somehow it's Cupcake's fault, she thinks. Really, she is too much.
* Mersnotty freaking out by the Gustavito's near miss with Rutile and his gun. Shrieking and carrying on as I FF>>>
* Sin thinks that when the clenbuterol crap (however you spell it) clears from the cattles' bodies (a few days) that they should be good to sell. Vainessa, however, says no way, that the cattle are contaminated and she's not buying them! Sin tries to play the friendship card with Vain, but Vain, who is for the moment showing common sense, is not going along with this. She even threatens to sue Sin if she doesn't sort out this mess. Impactada look from Sin. Vain says she'll get her meat somewhere else, she's not going to let her business suffer because of Sinthia's idiocy. (Remember, Sin ordered the guards off of the cattle, which then allowed them to be tainted yet again with clenbuterol crap.)
* Vain even goes on to say that she now sees why Rohell never allowed Sinthia to handle her half of the Hacienda—she's incompetent! Also, it's revealed that if they lose this account, that the Hacienda could be out half of their profits. Vain also reluctantly admits that when Paula was in charge, things were going okay. So this is all Sin's doing. Sin responds to all of this by kicking Vain out.
* More crap with Team Evil. The Gustavito knows that Rutile worked for Bruno. The Gustavito also knows now that Bruno was the guy that Mersnotty saw kissing Cupcake. Gustavito now connects the dots and figures that Bruno sent Rutile to beat him up, thus separating him from the Cupcake, and threatens Bruno and says if he ever finds out that it was Bruno that was behind his beating . . . Bruno tries to imply that Rohell ordered Rutile to beat up Gustavito. He leaves in a huff and Bruno displays a sh*t-eating grin.
* Tia comes in and puts in a word for Team Rohell. What a great guy he is, generous, blah blah blah. She tells Cupcake that she loves Rohell. Cupcake claims that she loves both guys. More claims of confusion. FF>>
* Effer talks with Ulises and Macaria about that Rutile guy. They're trying to connect the dots more about him being the culprit for Maripaz's death. After Macaria leaves, Ulises and Effer talk about Ulises's marriage. Yeah, right. Ulises says that at some point it feels like he and Macaria became less of a couple and more like Maripaz's parents. He's afraid that Macaria doesn't love him anymore. Effer looks concerned about this.
* Sin cries on the Gustavito's shoulder about being such a complete and utter loser and hopeless at running the business. Gustavito gives her encouraging words, not aware of what a complete dipshit she really is.
* Cupcake writes Rohell a very lovey-dovey, touchy-feely letter to Rohell, hoping for the best outcome for the operation, telling him that she "querers" him, and ending the letter by giving him a "strong hug." All very affectionate, so you know Rohell's going to lap that up.
* Cupcake gives this letter to Maria (who will relay it to Ernesto). She and Maria have a nice little chat where she thanks Maria for her support, even though she knows that her complicated situation (impregnated by the Gustavito) will affect Rohell when he finds out. Maria smiles and says she doesn't see any reason to make things more difficult for Cupcake. Then it comes out how Sin is treating poor Maria like crap, even though Maria raised her from infanthood. Maria is very hurt by this and cries that Sin makes sure to remind her that she's just a servant. Cupcake comforts her.
* More with Sin and Gustavito. She can count on him to help; he thinks it's troubling that there's someone trying to sabotage them.
* Bruno spins some BS tale to Ulises, saying that he didn't know what Rutile was up to and that he's told the police everything he knows, but it wasn't enough to help. Ulises has no reason not to believe this.
* Rohell is writing a letter to Cupcake, while wearing black satin jammies. He displays his dimples to great advantage and he remembers (as we are shown flashbacks) all the good times with Cupcake—her offering him a taste of her ice cream cone, the many kisses they shared, and so forth. He remembers her saying that if she fell in love with him, all she'd care about was him. This brings on even more dimples as he smiles, all hopeful and oblivious to what's really going on at home, thinking good thoughts of love about his blushing bride. Then the nurse comes in to ask him how he's doing. He says he's fine, but nervous, since tomorrow he's having an operation that will change his life forever. Then he gives another dimpled grin. Aw, Rohell, bless your heart, your trusting, hopeful heart!
* Sin and Bruno talking about the cattle problem. She tells him all her concerns. He advises her to suck it up and ask Vain for help.
* Chio appears and I hit the FF button. Sorry. (Okay, I didn't hit the FF button but I felt the need to check my email just then. Just saying.) Actually, she's looking for a good carpenter. Gus does know of one, as it happens.
* Mersnotty tries to make nice with Cupcake, since Cupcake is the incubator for Mersnotty's niece or nephew. She also tells Cupcake that the Gustavito would "die for" the kid. Cupcake is touched, I guess.
* Tia gets into an argument with Bruno about all that's going down. Bruno has a plan, however. Rohell will be gone for a while, Cupcake can have her baby (or not) and in the meantime, they can conspire to get everything signed over in Cupcake's name, and then Bruno can get his lands back, and then start to manage the Del Fuerte Hacienda. He has a lot of contacts and can repair the soon-to-be-trashed reputation of the Hacienda by saying that it's no longer in the hands of the Monteros.
* Tia enjoys rubbing it in with the Gustavito how his single (cheapskate LOL) rose does not compare favorably with Rohell's (hideous) large floral arrangement. She makes a big production of finding somewhere to put Gustavito's lone rose, making sure the Gustavito sees Rohell's lavish gift in the process. The Gustavito gets the message loud and clear.
* Sinthia approaches Cupcake in her sickbed and asks Cupcake if she really cares for Rohell, and if so, Sin will help clear the path for Cupcake, encourage Rohell to accept Cupcake and her kid, as this will leave the field clear for Sin to swoop in on the Gustavito and marry him. Cupcake looks a bit incredulous at hearing this offer.
* Things are going bad for Sin, who is now regretting her arrogant mishandling of the cattle thing. Vain just isn't in the mood to let her business suffer due to Sin's idiocy. David looms in and says to Sin that he's the only one who is left supporting her. Sin replies that it's a lie; had he been truly "supportive," he wouldn't have cut off water to the Hacienda. Ouch!
* Rohell is about to go to be operated on, and he calls home. Big mistake. He gets that blabbermouth kid M-Grito, who lets slip that Cupcake is bedriddin and too ill to come to the phone. Rohell tries to act like he's not concerned, and M-Grito immediately realizes that he blabbed where he shouldn't, but the DAMAGE IS DONE, DAMMIT!!! You can see the wheels spinning in Rohell's mind as he digests this news.
* Later, Cupcake, M-Grito, and Maria all pray for Rohell's well-being as they wait for news on his operation. Which never comes. Night falls and still no news.
Avances: Rohell returns to the Hacienda, STILL IN HIS WHEELCHAIR. That darn kid! He's ruined everything! We see Rohell talking with Cupcake, his face at first hopeful, but then she drops the bomb and you see Rohell looking shocked and striken. I think she's going to make Rohell cry.

Una Familia Con Suerte #211-212 Tue 4/17/12 Get out your gowns and scrubs, it's a hospital episode!
We get a busy intro, mostly focused on the hospital, where Doc Oc rehashes the details of the transplant and lets them know that Lupita is compatible. Frida has a little tiff with Monica, and Freddy shoots some evil eyes at Ana's other guy. Pancho is extremely upset and Rebe, stuck at home with a mega-belly, emotes and asks her friend to bring her chocolate. Pancho really has a cow.
Vicente has ALREADY found new love, in the form of the juicy tax auditor. He joyfully takes the good news to Enzo and Arnold, who try to hose down his parade-float.
Meanwhile, IRS barbie is explaining to her friend how disgusting Vins was when he looked at her, drooling.
Chela is still whining about her milk.
Monica takes Pepe out for some stale hospital coffee and tells him she loves him too much to let him go.
The writers continue to milk this kidney thing for all it's worth (maybe it was this show's turn to use the certainly-very-busy hospital set), and a stream of family members engage in tearful scenes. It goes on for over 10 minutes. Maybe she's going to die... this is really OTT with the teary closeups and intense music.
While the Lopez sob at the hospital, Vins flirts with IRS barbie and her buddy. They know he's married but decide to play a trick on him. They giggle loudly and speak invitingly so Candi will overhear them (which gets her suspicious), but barbie's got something else up her sleeve. Vins knows he's beat and cancels his dinner with them so he can go lie to Candi. She buys it. I wonder where this is headed (and how long it'll take Candi to find out he hasn't changed)?
IRS barbie is actually pretty sweet to Pancho. Rebe gives him an elbow in the ribs.
Now the two girls get a scene on their parallel beds, holding hands, and the writers get another crack at those teary sendoffs. Then they head to the operating room and we watch them go under anesthesia.
Frank shows up with a balloon, reveals that he was the one who told Ana she was fat, and Pancho just about busts his melon.
Frida sneaks a kiss on Pepe in plain sight of Moni. Then we get to watch the surgery! Yay! I take it back, they'll both be fine. I think.
Chacho has a chat with Pancho, where he skirts the topic of Sandra. I notice that his lollipop is drooping. Pancho presses him, and he reveals that his dingle doesn't tingle. That's an interesting wrinkle.
Pina has a chat with auditor-barbie: Pina is very cute and warns her about Vins.
Now it's Arnie's turn. He brings in his statements and proceeds to flirt pretty heavy with the auditor's friend, who knows he's supposed to be gay....
Doc Oc comes out with the news, looking a little grim. The music is severe. We cut to commercials, which I find odd because I thought they were gonna close out the show on that cliffhanger. After a little bit of helpful news about McDonalds and stuff, it turns out the operation went fine. Talk about anticlimactic. The first person Pancho calls? auditor barbie!
Enzo lets Vins know that he's been offered the presidency of an "important telcom company in Monterrey," and Vins tries to talk him out of it.
They all rush in to see Ana, but no one wheels in Lupita. It turns out Doc Oc was not entirely truthful. Lupita's got some kind of blood-clot and is not well. Maybe he forgot because of his Alzheimer's. Pancho sobs. Everyone is sad. I can barely handle this stuff. The docs wheel her out into the hall and she's feeling better. They move her into the bed next to Ana.
Now we get a stream of well-wishers one at a time into the hospital room.
Frida is really catty with Monica, and lets her know that she didn't sleep in the chair that night long ago. Really?
Chela doesn't want Enzo to take the job, but tries not to be so obvious about it.
Now we get the first bit of something new - Candi has straightened her hair and dressed as a schoolgirl to try and keep Vins interested. Interesting...
And yay, it's over!

El Talismán #55 Tue 4/17/12
We are free to discuss among ourselves. There may be bullets later.
Fabi wants to go to the hotel room with Army. He kvetches silently about his perfidy.
Doris wants to tie one on with Tony to celebrate their last day of marriage. She fondles the belt buckle and jumps on him for one last farewell f...you get the idea. He wants to pretend Doris is Cameela and gets slapped for it. She snarls that everyone hates him including his father. He pushes her on the bed but Pigoria shows up and tells Tony hands off.
Pedro meets with Doc Benitez and tells him about Mariana Aceves, his amnesiac wife who disappeared. Doc wonders why Mariana fled from her husband. “Is that what she told you?” asks Pedro. Doc doesn’t commit and tries to figure Pedro out. (Good luck with that Doc.) He is incredulous when Pedro explains their wedded relationship was that of “hermanos”. Doc recommends that Pedro just live his life but Pedro says he’s been looking for Mariana for too many years. Doc insists that Magaly is not Mariana. (How he can be so sure is beyond me because he hasn’t even seen a picture of her.) Pedro brings up Cameela and the doc gets more practice making the confused face. Pedro explains what we already know.
Smarmy Lucas enters the waiting room. He smirks when Mariana asks if he needs help, then he sneakily confirms she is *the* Mariana.
Doc calls Mariana and asks her to retrieve some records from his car. But there is nothing in the car, so Doc must have called just to get rid of her.
Pedro finally shows Doc a picture of Mariana and asks if the Doc hears anything about her to call him. Doc tells the pic that it’s time for her to face her past.
Camila presses Claudio for Mariana’s whereabouts but Claudio doesn’t know. Camila whines and frets about Mariana and Pedro for several scenes. She and Padre Matchmaker run into Margarito and the guys advise her to cool down, finding Mariana has long been a dream for Pedro.
Pedro goes to a church and prays to find Mariana alive and well.
Meanwhile Camila sits on her bed and prays that Pedro will find Mariana. Pedro walks in the door and says it’s another dead end, let’s go back to Fresno. He reports that the doc didn’t seem to recognize her photo. He figures at this point it’s best to assume she’s dead.
Sarita and Gab are outside jumping around the car. “Just imagine everything we can do inside of it,” grins the little horndog, and I’m talking about Gab, not Sarita. She’s ready to christen that car right now. Aw, they’re cute.
Fabi and Army slowly enter the hotel room. He doesn’t want to do anything she will regret. He goes for the gold and seems to have forgotten about telling her the truth, although he does mention he loves her.
Mariana knows Doc faked the errand to get her out of the office. He admits that is was Pedro, her husband, who was there with him.
Back in Fresno Pigorio and Tony are still going at it. Tony says Doris is still his mujer, not the pig’s. El Pig, with Doris cowering behind him, orders Tony out. “Keep her, I give her to you as a gift,” snarls the Belt Buckle. Pigorio embraces a smug Doris.
Tony sees LooKrazy out on the porch. She’s come to tell him Cami and Pedro are going to marry. He has a fit but insists he’ll marry Cami, he’s even got the rings picked out.
Darn, I was hoping we’d have an Elvira-free episode. She shows up at the apartment and she looks down her nose at everything. She wants Army but hears he’s out with his girl. “Which of the two?” she asks. She goes to her room and comes out in a state, Army has forgotten to bring over her beauty creams! She dashes off to The Only Hotel Inn to retrieve them.
Doc and Mariana go back to The Only Bar In LA so he can tell her about Pedro, that he married Mariana to protect her (at which he failed miserably I might add), but that he really loves another woman named Camila.
Oh gross, Fab and Army have done the deed. Fab is dressed but Army’s still in bed nekkid just as ElViral flounces in, “What’s going on here?”
ElViral is exceedingly annoyed that Army just boinked the pig’s granddaughter. Elvira calls her a little tramp and NOOOOOOO, Army jumps out of bed. Whew! He’s still scary but at least wearing undies. Fab bolts. Elviral is pleased, he has humiliated a Negrete, next in line is the little sis.
Mariana assumes this Camila is to blame for coming between her and her husband. Doc’s not exactly what Cami’s role was. Mariana is so confused. (Franky dear, so are we.)

Lucas calls Tony to tell him Mariana is alive. Tony asks if Lucas is betraying El Pig how can he be sure Lucas won’t betray the Belt Buckle? No guts no glory, says Lucas. He reports he followed Pedro, but Pedro never saw Mari. They make an appointment to discuss terms.
Pigorio tells Doris that tomorrow is her divorce and he doesn’t want to see her flirting with anyone else. She convinces him she no longer cares for Tony, he is her past. He says he wants Tony far from the ranch. Doris smiles victoriously.
Tony goes after Valentin. He wants the truth about what happened to Mariana. Val says El Pig made Val abandon Mari in LA. Tony asks why didn’t they just kill her? Val explains the pig wanted her to suffer. Tony doesn’t know who is crueler, The Pig or The Belt Buckle. Val whines about going to jail. Tony says he’s going to LA first thing, he wants to find Mari first.
Flor frets to Tracy about her parent’s problems. Yawn.
Fab runs home in tears and cries that La Marmota caught them in bed and insulted her. It was the biggest shame of her life. Tracy runs right down to the kitchen and blabs it to Alberta. She says this Armando sounds very weird to her.

Next morning Doris and Pigorio kiss to celebrate her divorce. The lawyer shows up and announces Tony is a no-show. Pigorio orders Valentin to find Tony. Doris gripes if Tony doesn’t show she’ll nix the divorce. Pig tells her she’ll do what he says.
The Belt Buckle arrives in LA and meets with Lucas. He shows Tony proof and Tony hands over a wad of cash. Lucas gives Tony the address of Doc’s office. Lucas says as long as Tony keeps paying he’ll work for him. Tony says it won’t be long, the Pig’s gonna die soon.
Pedro and Camila run into Margarito and report that the woman he saw was not Mariana. They tell him they are on their way to Fresno to get going on their marriage. Margarito doesn’t think he’ll go back with them because Claudio is still mad.
Fab mopes about Armando.
Armando gripes to his cousin about mom treating Fab like dirt. He blabs that it was Fabs first time and he really truly loves her.
Mariana tells Doc she’s ready to be brave and face her past. Tony walks into the office and she stares at him. Does she know him? Is he Pedro? Doc walks back in and Tony says he’d like to talk to the Doc alone.
Cut to a close-up of Geno kissing that guy she likes, with Claudio in the background. Weird. Panchito runs to Claudio and tells him to beat it because he’s got orders to kill him.
Pig and Doris decide she should go ahead and sign the papers. He decrees that from this moment she is divorced and now she belongs to him. She says now nobody can criticize him for bedding his daughter-in-law. (Hack, spit, gargle!)
That’s it folks. Kind of leaves a bad taste in one’s mouth, doesn’t it?
First Half:

excitement at El Tal. Gabriel has purchased a brand new red car, some
cute litte hatchback thingie. (A commercial advertised a Ford Focus so
maybe that’s it.) He wants to surprise the catwoman. When he goes inside
Sarita is pithed off until Tracy spills the beans.Fabi wants to go to the hotel room with Army. He kvetches silently about his perfidy.
Doris wants to tie one on with Tony to celebrate their last day of marriage. She fondles the belt buckle and jumps on him for one last farewell f...you get the idea. He wants to pretend Doris is Cameela and gets slapped for it. She snarls that everyone hates him including his father. He pushes her on the bed but Pigoria shows up and tells Tony hands off.
Pedro meets with Doc Benitez and tells him about Mariana Aceves, his amnesiac wife who disappeared. Doc wonders why Mariana fled from her husband. “Is that what she told you?” asks Pedro. Doc doesn’t commit and tries to figure Pedro out. (Good luck with that Doc.) He is incredulous when Pedro explains their wedded relationship was that of “hermanos”. Doc recommends that Pedro just live his life but Pedro says he’s been looking for Mariana for too many years. Doc insists that Magaly is not Mariana. (How he can be so sure is beyond me because he hasn’t even seen a picture of her.) Pedro brings up Cameela and the doc gets more practice making the confused face. Pedro explains what we already know.
Smarmy Lucas enters the waiting room. He smirks when Mariana asks if he needs help, then he sneakily confirms she is *the* Mariana.
Doc calls Mariana and asks her to retrieve some records from his car. But there is nothing in the car, so Doc must have called just to get rid of her.
Pedro finally shows Doc a picture of Mariana and asks if the Doc hears anything about her to call him. Doc tells the pic that it’s time for her to face her past.
Camila presses Claudio for Mariana’s whereabouts but Claudio doesn’t know. Camila whines and frets about Mariana and Pedro for several scenes. She and Padre Matchmaker run into Margarito and the guys advise her to cool down, finding Mariana has long been a dream for Pedro.
Pedro goes to a church and prays to find Mariana alive and well.
Meanwhile Camila sits on her bed and prays that Pedro will find Mariana. Pedro walks in the door and says it’s another dead end, let’s go back to Fresno. He reports that the doc didn’t seem to recognize her photo. He figures at this point it’s best to assume she’s dead.
Sarita and Gab are outside jumping around the car. “Just imagine everything we can do inside of it,” grins the little horndog, and I’m talking about Gab, not Sarita. She’s ready to christen that car right now. Aw, they’re cute.
Fabi and Army slowly enter the hotel room. He doesn’t want to do anything she will regret. He goes for the gold and seems to have forgotten about telling her the truth, although he does mention he loves her.
Mariana knows Doc faked the errand to get her out of the office. He admits that is was Pedro, her husband, who was there with him.
Back in Fresno Pigorio and Tony are still going at it. Tony says Doris is still his mujer, not the pig’s. El Pig, with Doris cowering behind him, orders Tony out. “Keep her, I give her to you as a gift,” snarls the Belt Buckle. Pigorio embraces a smug Doris.
Tony sees LooKrazy out on the porch. She’s come to tell him Cami and Pedro are going to marry. He has a fit but insists he’ll marry Cami, he’s even got the rings picked out.
Darn, I was hoping we’d have an Elvira-free episode. She shows up at the apartment and she looks down her nose at everything. She wants Army but hears he’s out with his girl. “Which of the two?” she asks. She goes to her room and comes out in a state, Army has forgotten to bring over her beauty creams! Una Familia Con Suerte #209-210 Mon 4/16/12 This Episode is Brought To You By The Mexican Medical Society: Get Cures For All Your Ills
So, La Guerra, Ana Maria Torres can’t come play at Pancho’s house she is in training, but she tells Frida to fight for what she wants, (apparently not having met Moni or asked Pepe who he loves), Freddy needs to rescue Ana, begs Pancho, Temo is rescuing Rebe from her veil of tears, someone needs to rescue Pancho from the hot Auditor, Lamberto needs someone to rescue him from Tax Fraud charges as he is whisked off to jail in front of an astounded Agatita (or Katita).
Freddy starts on his campaign to wait outside the bathroom door until Ana opens up although she cries out for help behind the lock. Pancho orders two drinks with Bella until Rebe and Temoc come to rescue Pancho. Temoc asks leading questions about how Freddy is going to help Ana. The maid Chucha fills Rebe in on the lastest with Ana.
Freddy and Ana talk through the door about her inability to forgive so she drove Freddy into Kari’s arms but she is sorry now. Still the tears flow as if a truckload of fresh onions were delivered to the set.
Moni still in her pheasant (no not peasant) jacket talks with Chela with Kari in tow. Chela is barely civil to Kari but acknowledges that she is Moni’s BFF but still her actions toward Freddy = against Ana are eating at Chela who leaves the room.
Frida keeps trying to cuddle up to Pepe and tell him how marvelous it has been with him giving her his total attention all day every day for all these months. She tries to kiss him again and again he gives in. This story line is so smarmy on Frida’s part and so bloody lame on Pepe’s that I think I am going to have a little cry.
Candy and Vicente continue to toast amorously under the sword of Damocles unaware that their idyllic honeymoon is going to bring on the killer bees very, very soon. Kiss and sip while you can lovers.
The Auditrix offers to come back at a more convenient time and Rebe says yes things are quite a mess here with Ana. Pancho really wants to ignore the fiasco in the bathroom and entertain the hot auditor. He gets the call about Lambi and continues to act the ass (heehaw!) They argue about convening back at the office when he can concentrate on the audit at hand, and she leaves then Rebe starts to cry again about oh so many things.
Lupita and Tomas watch the Auditrix leave then come in to tell Pancho and Rebe that Ana is taking some really strange pills and they are all scared. Across the garden, Chela gets the call and leaves Enzo and Paco while she rushes to the family summit meeting. Chucha goes for a key to get Ana’s bedroom unlocked. A major intervention takes place with the Analemia (sorry all you dedicated medical folk, I couldn’t resist the urge.) Pancho orders Lupita to call Doc Oc while Analemia screams and her eye makeup almost runs, well no, it must be those plastic glue-ons.
As she is left at her door step after a forced romantic moment in Pepe’s car, Frida tries with all her might to make the next meeting with Pepe one of lovers, I think. He goes off to check the family. Frida should be aware of how second string she would always be with the Lopez gang or maybe ask Enzo how it goes when the summit is called.
Katita or is it Agatita, Pancho’s secretary has followed to the police station and tries to comfort Lamberto behind the cell bars. He doesn’t understand how he could have been accused of such infamy when he has always been so honest.
Analemia continues her denials when Pepe comes in she stands up to get away from the intervention but falls unconscious into her Papancho’s arms with the full junta standing around. After commercials she is out cold on the bed while Pancho phones to hear Doc Oc give the important information that she needs to be brought in. Brilliant.
The Auditrixy and her blond assistant, Jimena, discuss how missed an opportunity she had to have a sexy dinner with Pancho but the chaos that ensued made that impossible. She is so impressed with this fine specimen of a man, that Audi hopes the irregularities in the books at Avon were not Pancho’s fault.
Sandri and Chacho discuss his need for rescue from impotence I think? What is old and doesn’t function well anymore and how awful is this for a man. Lumbria (fire? or libido) is something else for Sandri. She would rather have the love and faithfulness of a man, that is sexy to her. He still thinks he doesn’t deserve her but she has other plans in her splendid red satin peignoir. He is about to get a fun lesson in middle age compensations.
Isabella (Auditrix) and her assistant Jimena talk about the ideal kind of man like Pancho who is not intimidated by high functioning professional women. They need a plan to find them if they can’t steal one from a high functioning but pregnant woman like Rebe.
Chela finally calls home to update Enzo and Moni who is still in the pheasant jacket that Ana is gravely ill in the hospital again, and now being examined by Doc Oc.
Freddy calls home to scare his MomsAmors that he is in the hospital but explains quickly that it is Ana he is there for sure and he regrets that he will not be able to go away on their trip tomorrow. Adoration is there to encourage Pina to accept that to be really happy, Freddy will eventually be with Ana.
Auditrix has called Pancho again and is offering very kindly to help with the problem with Lamberto’s arrest. Pancho doesn’t want to let go of anything but she reminds him of the chaos surrounding him and this is the least she can do. She realizes that there is some mistake that a man like Lamberto has been accused of so many accounting sins. She makes a call but is told it is not likely Lambi can be sprung this late in the night so we see a forlorn Lambi crying at the gray cell walls. The sky has indeed finally fallen on our poor gallo pequeño. He knew it would come to this end somehow but he swears to the gloom that he has done nothing wrong.
Pancho has his turn to cry for his wonderful daughter Ana. Moni comforts Pepe about his sister and they bond but we see a dark room with Frida replaying her pitch at Pepe and giving him kisses which he does return but doesn’t initiate: DOESN’T INITIATE, FRIDA, are you listening???
Doc Oc and his staff review the weak condition of Ana whose resistance is very low. Chela says it’s because she hasn’t eaten for so long. Temoc cries. Then in the chapel, Pancho cries some more. The very pregnant Rebe can still run as she rushes into the chapel. Pancho is then concerned for her and they leave.
Auditrixi and Jimena discuss that they have no update from Pancho but he is passing through the most difficult time. So Audi has turned into a good one for sure. She appreciates Pancho and looks like she will solve his fiscal nightmares if she can.
Doc Oc affirms that Ana has been taking these dastardly pills for some time and she is now at risk for general renal failure. He can’t lie to them that this could be fatal. We are subjected to another bout of crying all around.
Pepe hears that Doc Oc must wait to see how Ana reacts to the treatment. For now her vital signs are stable. Temoc takes it the hardest or maybe Chela. Ana is so important to all of them.
The Family lawyer show up to rescue Lambi telling him that he can get him out but has to talk to Pancho who is now occupied otherwise with his ill daughter. The fine must be paid and so Lambi should hang cool while the lawyer can get the mess straightened out when he can get Pancho’s attention. Lambi understands but cries some more.
The family has been up all night apparently and discuss how Enzo needs to take Chela to see her baby and Dona Fer thinks Rebe better go rest to protect her babies. She resists leaving Pancho but finally agrees to go with Enzo and Chela for a rest.
The universal phone ring tells Pancho that someone is calling Ana for work, he answers just as Chucho’s phone rings exactly the same and he gets astounding news.
Enzo and Chela leave Rebe resting with the promise that he will go to work since no one is in at their level at Avon and Chela will be across the garden with her baby if Rebe needs anything.
The phones keep ringing, Frida calls her AMOR Pepe and finds out he can’t come for her. She looks ready to fly to the hospital. Moni looks worried on the side. And here she (Frida that is, I know this is coming so fast) comes in the hospital to jump Pepe while Moni watches sadly. (Did I say how much I HATE this story line? But no one is listening to me.) After commercials, Moni stomps out of the waiting room. To add insult to injury Adrien shows up and in front of Freddy asks Pancho how the lovely Ana is doing and how concerned he is for her.
Lovely Barbara in that one shoulder cocktail dress for breakfast gives tea and sympathy to Rebe who is in bed but still dressed with makeup and jewelry just in case.
At Avon, Dona Fer takes over the audit and assures Auditrix that Lamberto is honest as the day is long and if anything of his accounts is off she is sure it is nothing more than an error. She acknowledges that he is an extremely nervous type which doesn’t look good but means nothing.
Enzo tries to assess the office needs with Agata while Chela calls saying there is no milk for Paco but Ador’s mom shows up behind her with a bottle all ready so all is well and one baby is saved! Whew!
Pina actually shows up at the hospital to comfort Freddy and even hugs Pancho. Sandi pulls Chucho into a medical office hall way concerned that he is not all functioning apparently unaware of the Lopez debacle. Doc Oc shows up to say Ana probably needs a kidney (riñon) transplant.
Dona Fer helps Lami get through the audit questions and says the overcharges (recargos) will have to be repaid. Lambi laments that he has no money.
Moni cries in Enzo’s arms that Frida showed up to take over Pepe so she came to Enzo’s office to cry.
Lupita tells Rebe there is no news but Rebe begins to cry again that Pancho is so worried he is at the hospital. She continues to cry to Barbara.
The slick politico shows up and asks to see Enzo. He thinks Enzo must want more than to be a vice president? He offers Enzo a presidency in another company. Too slick to understand all of it.
Moni pouts dry eyed about Frida’s invasion to Chela. Pancho cries to Lupita that he is not a compatible match to donate a kidney to Ana and she is probably going to die. Pepe points out that one of the kids may be compatible. Temoc says he will give anything to save Ana. Pancho has to tell him he is too young. Adrien actually works on Temoc to distract and calm him. He is so good with kids.
The slick guy keeps urging Enzo to do business so Enzo finally agrees to take his papers to think about the offer when he looks at the papers he says but this company isn‘t here. Where is it ? Monteray is the happy answer. So it seems it is an offer to be president of his company. Enzo is still puzzled but gets rid of the political for a moment.
Moni gets the “lucha para el” speech from Chela. Who cares if it is Frida, Fulana or Mongana. It is time for Moni to realize her own worth and fight for Pepe if she wants him back. Chela gives her the best step-moms pep talk as if she were one of her nieces. Moni looks full of determination before we go off to commercials and tales of the prostitutes dogging the poor secret service guys on their visit to Colombia. Oh noes! Those pesky Colombianos make us smoke stuff, sniff stuff and now xxxx stuff? For shame! (Sorry I couldn’t help it.)
Pancho has a woman doctor explain the bulimia process and effects to him. Seems very thorough and well presented.
Chacho and Sandru wait for the doctor to cure his problem and restore his self esteem. When he is called by the receptionist, Sandru makes him go into the doctor’s office alone. The doc takes out a glove and prepares to check his prostate to see if there is inflammation, but Chacho doesn’t let go of his jeans or his lollipop so how is this going to happen? This is a bit of stupidity in an otherwise fairly straight forward “all medical all the time” episode. Is this the comic relief?
Adrien and Freddy square off about Ana and who has the right to love her more.
Moni shows up asking to talk with Tomas about what has happened. Tomas updates her while Frida glares.
Chacho minces out of the office and teases Sandra with his problem but then proudly assures her that his equipment is all just great. He hobbles out of the office with her in tow.
Pancho visits the sleeping Ana. He cries that he tried to give her his kidney but cannot. He hopes she knows he would do anything for her.
Candi adjusts Vicente’s tie as he plans to go to the office in his suit I think. They kiss and he leaves. She calls Chela who is putting on makeup.
Pepe shows up in the waiting room saying he is not a match to Ana either so it remains for Lupita to be tested. Frida all proprietary as though if she acts like Pepe’s lover she soon will be, but he sits across from her and can see Moni walk in behind Frida. Moni is playing the conversation in her head of Chela’s pep talk to fight for her love. She walks right in with a warm smile and sits down next to Pepe giving him the most passionate of kisses which he obviously enjoys. As Moni walks away, Frida acts all bent out of shape (why did she assume what she obviously assumed? Who knows why they are making all the poor girls in this show such mindless immoral wretches, can you all see smoke coming out of my ears right now?)
Doc Oc talks to Pancho alone to say that he has tested his two children and only one is compatible to make an organ donation and it is …..Lupita.
Next time: More tears, the scary pre-operation moment between the sisters, and the reentry of Vicente to the office so I think we shall see soon what he thinks of the irregularities in the books…

He goes off to check the family. Frida should be aware of how second string she would always be with the Lopez gang or maybe ask Enzo how it goes when the summit is called.
Katita or is it Agatita, Pancho’s secretary has followed to the police station and tries to comfort Lamberto behind the cell bars. He doesn’t understand how he could have been accused of such infamy when he has always been so honest.
Analemia continues her denials when Pepe comes in she stands up to get away from the intervention but falls unconscious into her Papancho’s arms with the full junta standing around. After commercials she is out cold on the bed while Pancho phones to hear Doc Oc give the important information that she needs to be brought in. Brilliant.
The Auditrixy and her blond assistant, Jimena, discuss how missed an opportunity she had to have a sexy dinner with Pancho but the chaos that ensued made that impossible. She is so impressed with this fine specimen of a man, that Audi hopes the irregularities in the books at Avon were not Pancho’s fault.
Sandri and Chacho discuss his need for rescue from impotence I think? What is old and doesn’t function well anymore and how awful is this for a man. Lumbria (fire? or libido) is something else for Sandri. She would rather have the love and faithfulness of a man, that is sexy to her. He still thinks he doesn’t deserve her but she has other plans in her splendid red satin peignoir. He is about to get a fun lesson in middle age compensations.
Isabella (Auditrix) and her assistant Jimena talk about the ideal kind of man like Pancho who is not intimidated by high functioning professional women. They need a plan to find them if they can’t steal one from a high functioning but pregnant woman like Rebe.
Chela finally calls home to update Enzo and Moni who is still in the pheasant jacket that Ana is gravely ill in the hospital again, and now being examined by Doc Oc.
Freddy calls home to scare his MomsAmors that he is in the hospital but explains quickly that it is Ana he is there for sure and he regrets that he will not be able to go away on their trip tomorrow. Adoration is there to encourage Pina to accept that to be really happy, Freddy will eventually be with Ana.
Auditrix has called Pancho again and is offering very kindly to help with the problem with Lamberto’s arrest. Pancho doesn’t want to let go of anything but she reminds him of the chaos surrounding him and this is the least she can do. She realizes that there is some mistake that a man like Lamberto has been accused of so many accounting sins. She makes a call but is told it is not likely Lambi can be sprung this late in the night so we see a forlorn Lambi crying at the gray cell walls. The sky has indeed finally fallen on our poor gallo pequeño. He knew it would come to this end somehow but he swears to the gloom that he has done nothing wrong.
Pancho has his turn to cry for his wonderful daughter Ana. Moni comforts Pepe about his sister and they bond but we see a dark room with Frida replaying her pitch at Pepe and giving him kisses which he does return but doesn’t initiate: DOESN’T INITIATE, FRIDA, are you listening???
Doc Oc and his staff review the weak condition of Ana whose resistance is very low. Chela says it’s because she hasn’t eaten for so long. Temoc cries. Then in the chapel, Pancho cries some more. The very pregnant Rebe can still run as she rushes into the chapel. Pancho is then concerned for her and they leave.
Auditrixi and Jimena discuss that they have no update from Pancho but he is passing through the most difficult time. So Audi has turned into a good one for sure. She appreciates Pancho and looks like she will solve his fiscal nightmares if she can.
Doc Oc affirms that Ana has been taking these dastardly pills for some time and she is now at risk for general renal failure. He can’t lie to them that this could be fatal. We are subjected to another bout of crying all around.
Pepe hears that Doc Oc must wait to see how Ana reacts to the treatment. For now her vital signs are stable. Temoc takes it the hardest or maybe Chela. Ana is so important to all of them.
The Family lawyer show up to rescue Lambi telling him that he can get him out but has to talk to Pancho who is now occupied otherwise with his ill daughter. The fine must be paid and so Lambi should hang cool while the lawyer can get the mess straightened out when he can get Pancho’s attention. Lambi understands but cries some more.
The family has been up all night apparently and discuss how Enzo needs to take Chela to see her baby and Dona Fer thinks Rebe better go rest to protect her babies. She resists leaving Pancho but finally agrees to go with Enzo and Chela for a rest.
The universal phone ring tells Pancho that someone is calling Ana for work, he answers just as Chucho’s phone rings exactly the same and he gets astounding news.
Enzo and Chela leave Rebe resting with the promise that he will go to work since no one is in at their level at Avon and Chela will be across the garden with her baby if Rebe needs anything.
The phones keep ringing, Frida calls her AMOR Pepe and finds out he can’t come for her. She looks ready to fly to the hospital. Moni looks worried on the side. And here she (Frida that is, I know this is coming so fast) comes in the hospital to jump Pepe while Moni watches sadly. (Did I say how much I HATE this story line? But no one is listening to me.) After commercials, Moni stomps out of the waiting room. To add insult to injury Adrien shows up and in front of Freddy asks Pancho how the lovely Ana is doing and how concerned he is for her.
Lovely Barbara in that one shoulder cocktail dress for breakfast gives tea and sympathy to Rebe who is in bed but still dressed with makeup and jewelry just in case.
At Avon, Dona Fer takes over the audit and assures Auditrix that Lamberto is honest as the day is long and if anything of his accounts is off she is sure it is nothing more than an error. She acknowledges that he is an extremely nervous type which doesn’t look good but means nothing.
Enzo tries to assess the office needs with Agata while Chela calls saying there is no milk for Paco but Ador’s mom shows up behind her with a bottle all ready so all is well and one baby is saved! Whew!
Pina actually shows up at the hospital to comfort Freddy and even hugs Pancho. Sandi pulls Chucho into a medical office hall way concerned that he is not all functioning apparently unaware of the Lopez debacle. Doc Oc shows up to say Ana probably needs a kidney (riñon) transplant.
Dona Fer helps Lami get through the audit questions and says the overcharges (recargos) will have to be repaid. Lambi laments that he has no money.
Moni cries in Enzo’s arms that Frida showed up to take over Pepe so she came to Enzo’s office to cry.
Lupita tells Rebe there is no news but Rebe begins to cry again that Pancho is so worried he is at the hospital. She continues to cry to Barbara.
The slick politico shows up and asks to see Enzo. He thinks Enzo must want more than to be a vice president? He offers Enzo a presidency in another company. Too slick to understand all of it.
Moni pouts dry eyed about Frida’s invasion to Chela. Pancho cries to Lupita that he is not a compatible match to donate a kidney to Ana and she is probably going to die. Pepe points out that one of the kids may be compatible. Temoc says he will give anything to save Ana. Pancho has to tell him he is too young. Adrien actually works on Temoc to distract and calm him. He is so good with kids.
The slick guy keeps urging Enzo to do business so Enzo finally agrees to take his papers to think about the offer when he looks at the papers he says but this company isn‘t here. Where is it ? Monteray is the happy answer. So it seems it is an offer to be president of his company. Enzo is still puzzled but gets rid of the political for a moment.
Moni gets the “lucha para el” speech from Chela. Who cares if it is Frida, Fulana or Mongana. It is time for Moni to realize her own worth and fight for Pepe if she wants him back. Chela gives her the best step-moms pep talk as if she were one of her nieces. Moni looks full of determination before we go off to commercials and tales of the prostitutes dogging the poor secret service guys on their visit to Colombia. Oh noes! Those pesky Colombianos make us smoke stuff, sniff stuff and now xxxx stuff? For shame! (Sorry I couldn’t help it.)
Pancho has a woman doctor explain the bulimia process and effects to him. Seems very thorough and well presented.
Chacho and Sandru wait for the doctor to cure his problem and restore his self esteem. When he is called by the receptionist, Sandru makes him go into the doctor’s office alone. The doc takes out a glove and prepares to check his prostate to see if there is inflammation, but Chacho doesn’t let go of his jeans or his lollipop so how is this going to happen? This is a bit of stupidity in an otherwise fairly straight forward “all medical all the time” episode. Is this the comic relief?
Adrien and Freddy square off about Ana and who has the right to love her more.
Moni shows up asking to talk with Tomas about what has happened. Tomas updates her while Frida glares.
Chacho minces out of the office and teases Sandra with his problem but then proudly assures her that his equipment is all just great. He hobbles out of the office with her in tow.
Pancho visits the sleeping Ana. He cries that he tried to give her his kidney but cannot. He hopes she knows he would do anything for her.
Candi adjusts Vicente’s tie as he plans to go to the office in his suit I think. They kiss and he leaves. She calls Chela who is putting on makeup.
Pepe shows up in the waiting room saying he is not a match to Ana either so it remains for Lupita to be tested. Frida all proprietary as though if she acts like Pepe’s lover she soon will be, but he sits across from her and can see Moni walk in behind Frida. Moni is playing the conversation in her head of Chela’s pep talk to fight for her love. She walks right in with a warm smile and sits down next to Pepe giving him the most passionate of kisses which he obviously enjoys. As Moni walks away, Frida acts all bent out of shape (why did she assume what she obviously assumed? Who knows why they are making all the poor girls in this show such mindless immoral wretches, can you all see smoke coming out of my ears right now?)
Doc Oc talks to Pancho alone to say that he has tested his two children and only one is compatible to make an organ donation and it is …..Lupita.
Next time: More tears, the scary pre-operation moment between the sisters, and the reentry of Vicente to the office so I think we shall see soon what he thinks of the irregularities in the books…

Sir Gustavo insists upon staying close to Lasy Ana Paula, Lord Rogelio asks Dr Ernesto on the phone about Sir Gustavo's emergency.
Current Happenings
San Gabriel: Macaria tells Efrain that Ulisses is blaming her for the disappearance of the letter from Margarito's mother. She accuses him of taking it; he appears a little disturbed at this.
Parlour: Dr. Ernesto attempts to assure His Lordship that all is well. His Lordship tells him that he insists upon honesty and will not tolerate liars. This does not bode well. As Dr Ernesto hangs up the telephone Maria asks whether he suspected anything. Dr Ernesto states that Lord Rogelio is very intelligent and perceptive and knows that something has happened. He doesn't like to lie but the situation demands it. Maria is grateful he didn't ask to speak to her because she has never lied to him and doesn't believe she would be able to. She hopes that Lady Ana Paula will be well shortly so that Lord Rogelio would never need to know that they concealed anything from him. She finishes by saying that she had always thought that Vainessa was the love of his life but she sees now that he loves Lady Ana Paula and that Vainessa is simply a bad memory. [We wonder in the meanwhile how she could hope that so many of Her Ladyship's enemies would hold their peace.]
San Gabriel: Macaria has realized that Efrain was the person who stole the documents from the file cabinet and demands their return. Efrain sensibly asks how she purports to explain this to Ulisses. She demands to know who Margarito's father is, but Efrain refuses to tell now, stating she will find out in due time. She didn't have the guts to open the box but he did. He further reminds her about her revealing the existence of the letter when they had spent the night together. That appears to silence her. Which is difficult at best.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Dr Ernesto enters to inform her that she is anaemic and must eat well. And that she must remain calm. He further assures her that His Lordship as yet knows nothing and that his surgery will take place this very week.
San Gabriel: Macaria is getting ill at ease because Ulisses only spoke to her of the letter. To calm her, Efrain uses the same remedy he applies to Lady Chatterley. Who certainly will not enjoy finding out about her rival.
Montero Manor, Stables: After we see Knave Skelator leaving cautiously with black trash bags, someone finds an empty canister of clenbuterol in his wake.
Study: Jacinto enters hoping to see Her Ladyship and instead finds Lady Chatterley, who informs him that the clenbuterol issue is solved and if he will not consent to take orders from her he can leave. She handles the riding crop for emphasis. Apparently the cattle is to be tested and Lady Ana Paula had ordered it.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Lady Daniela enters to find an empty bed as Lady Ana Paula comes out of the water closet. She returns to the bed thinking about all that needs doing, but Lady Daniela tells her that her priority is the baby. After helping her into bed she brings forth a large arrangement of what appear to be red roses sent by His Lordship (who obviously had not seen it, as we all know he has better taste). Their love theme begins as the note says “Thinking of you every moment.” Her Ladyship is moved.
Study: The only thing Lady Chatterley is taking seriously is the illusion of her own power, as she dismisses Jacinto's concern about the clenbuterol. He finally tells her that the culprit has yet to be caught. She orders him to gather the workers. He appears grateful to be leaving the study.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Margarito kneels on the trunk at the foot of the bed, asking about the baby. Of course Her Ladyship does not know the gender of the child nor is that of importance to her. Margarito speculates on how the baby should be named, for Her Ladyship's father or mother... or Sir Gustavo if it's a boy. When he jumps down he is in pain and she gently reproaches him for not taking better care. Sir Gustavo enters to enquire as to Her Ladyship's health.
Ulisses' Shop: Macaria continues to swear she does not have the letter. She asks the identity of Margarito's father, but Ulisses does not know. The woman who had given it to him was very ill and he did not read the letter. Macaria points out that Margarito appears happy at the manor, as Lady Ana Paula cares for him as though he were her own son. At which time Macaria asks about her reaction to the rose arrangement. Ulisses does not know, as he only left it there. Macaria reproaches him because he passed up the opportunity to learn the identity of the father of Her Ladyship's baby. By the gods, this woman is almost as shameless as Lady Begoña of La Ermita. Ulisses does not want to know more of this; he is more concerned about whether Lord Rogelio was deceived by his lady wife. Ulisses most definitely does not approve of the apparent adultery, but Macaria – due undoubtedly to her own pecadilloes – comments that that is their business and that sometimes infidelity has a reason. To the sounds of discordant piano music Ulisses goes on about how when things do not go well in a marriage they should be confronted. If that fails, then the two parties should part and go their separate ways and that there is no excuse for adultery. She looks surprised and not pleasantly.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Sir Gustavo offers to do whatever Her Ladyship wishes, to get her books or other things, but she assures him she feels better. Margarito asks about the nine-month deadline, stating it's a long time and asking whether His Lordship will be back by then, but Her Ladyship tells him she does not know and that too many people already know about the baby. It's only a matter of time before everyone knows. All she knows is that she loves the baby; she knows not what awaits them all. Margarito asks whether if she adopts him he will be the baby's half brother, as she and Vainessa are half sisters. She appears lost for words.
Grounds: Tia MentiRosa follows Skelator, calling his name. She carries a large bouquet of flowers.
Rosaura: Bruno!
Bruno (to himself, annoyed): Here she comes.
Rosaura: Bruno, where are you going in such a hurry?
Bruno: I have things to do in town.
Rosaura: So now it's your job to take out the garbage?
Bruno (dropping the bags): I don't believe I have to account for my every move to you.
Rosaura: Yes; it's clear to me that's not your way. But look (holds up canister as sinister music begins) you dropped a container of clenbuterol. (Suspense music begins) With this you contaminated Rogelio's cattle. I will never forgive you for this!

At her uncomfortable and silent reaction Sir Gustavo suggests that they could say so, but that they must allow Her Ladyship to sleep. It is daytime, so Margarito doesn't quite understand this, but allows himself to be guided out the door. To the sound of a solo piano, Sir Gustavo slowly kisses Lady Ana Paula's forehead and strokes her face tenderly before leaving the room. Lady Daniela arrives at the same moment, commenting on how many visitors she has.
Ana Paula: Yes, and all are commenting on how serious it would be if Rogelio knew of my pregnancy.
We think that her sarcasm is a defense mechanism because she herself knows the risk.
Grounds: We do not dare predict what will ensue from this confrontation.
Rosaura: Ana Paula must see this. I never imagined you were a traitor!
Bruno: Watch your tongue because what you did to your niece is much worse!
Rosaura: Don't try to change the conversation. (looks to make sure nobody is close enough to hear) We're talking about messing with Rogelio's property. And that I can't not tell.
Bruno: I know what I'm doing. Give me that. (tries to grab the canister, but Rosaura will not release it)
Rosaura: The problem with this plan is that the value of the estate will drop. Then what will we get out of it?
Bruno: Listen to me. To weaken Rogelio this estate must be debilitated.
Rosaura: Bruno, as a good lawyer you say a lot of things that sound true, but I don't believe you.
Bruno (wiseacre): No?

Dani: Of course. The thing he wants most is parents.
Miguel: Couldn't you and Gustavo adopt him?
Ana Paula: I, yes, but – (tries to sit up higher, but Daniela stops her) that can't happen because the papers were filed by Rogelio and myself. I can only hope that Margarito won't be hurt.
Dani: You are right. Now don't worry. You must be relaxed and happy to be having a baby.
Ana Paula (shaking her head): I won't be alright until I know the baby is out of danger.
Dani: Then you have to be patient.
Ana Paula: Besides, I don't like being here doing nothing.

Ana Paula: Yes, yes. (ominous piano solo begins) But I'm referring to defending the estate for Rogelio. What can I hope to do from here?

Miguel: Yes. I'm designing furniture and investigating proof of my innocence.
Ana Paula: Really? (takes his hand and smiles)

Lady Sneerwell makes a sarcastic comment about it being a luxury hotel which – predictably – nearly sets him off. “As insulted as I am, I don't want us to fight. And I remind you of your promise to do everything so that Lady Ana Paula gets well.” This causes Lady Sneerwell to make a face and run from the room to the corridor where she runs into Lady Chatterley. Whom she immediately tells she is having an argument with her brother about his being willing to spend all his current funds on Lady Ana Paula's care. She is very angry about this. Lady Chatterley's face is like stone.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Knave Skelator defiles it with his presence as he tells her to remain calm.
Bruno: Relax. Sinthia has taken the reins of the estate with much energy.
Ana Paula: But Rogelio always told me she knows nothing about this. She never wanted to learn.
Bruno: Ana Paula, please forget about this for now. (kneels next to the bed and takes her hand) Better think that it's lucky that Rogelio isn't here right now so we can all take care of you as you deserve.

Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: The viper turns again
Bruno: I don't know what you were told, but I never gave him work.
Ana Paula: Then what exactly does he have to do with you? Because Dani and Miguel say you know him.
Bruno: A few times I had him deliver some documents to Tuxtla but (turning away) truly I don't know much about him. (turning back) It's like you're asking me about Consuelo, Efrain, or Hugo. Despite they've being all this time on the estate; what I know about? Why are you interested?

Outside: A worker sends Efrain to see Lady Chatterley.
San Gabriel: Rutilio grabs Consuelo on the street. As she struggles Miguel appears from behind, launches himself at him, and shoves him back. Consuelo shouts “He's the one who bothered Maripaz.”
Study: Lord Abel and the agriculture association secretary are seated in front of Lady Chatterley. They inform her that Lord Rogelio has been removed as president of the association. She asks that this wait until his return, but they reply that this is a fait accompli. The secretary hands her a file with documentation demanding testing of the estate's cattle.
San Gabriel: Rutilio knocks Miguel backwards saying “Don't dare mess with me” only to be attacked by Sir Gustavo who enters running, then tackling him. Once he has him on the ground he tears away his neckerchief and finds the scar he once described . He immediately recognizes him as the man who had tried to kill him months before. However, Rutilio has a few stone on him so he knocks him back and runs away, shooting behind himself as he exits.
Study: Lady Chatterley doesn't like it, but she is backed into a corner. She has no choice but to permit this. However, she tells them that her foreman will be present to supervise the testing and that she will be contacting her lawyer. She loves playing with the riding crop, but Lord Abel is not intimidated by her threats.
San Gabriel: Miguel gets Consuelo to stand, saying he will help Sir Gustavo. She is too afraid, so he remains with her as Sir Gustavo approaches. Consuelo tells him that this was the man who was bothering Maripaz. He tells them that this same man hit him on the head the night before Lady Ana Paula's graduation. He recognized the scar. He got away only because he was shooting. Miguel looks down at the pavement and finds Maripaz' religious medallion, which Consuelo recognizes.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Dr Ernesto again urges Her Ladyship to remain in bed and remain calm. She explains her worry about her brother and implores him to put her in touch with His Lordship.
San Gabriel: Consuelo and her two rescuers walk along toward the constabulary; Miguel doubts that his word would be believed. Consuelo is not worried because the gunshots would have been heard, but when they arrive at Ulisses' shop Macaria is worried about her because she is late. She does not like the company she keeps, either. Ulisses is enraged and when Miguel attempts to explain what happened and shows the found religious medallion Ulisses attacks him despite Sir Gustavo's attempt at being the voice of reason.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Dr Ernesto phones His Lordship, learning that the operation is scheduled for the next day. The connexion is not that good, but he tells him that Her Ladyship wishes to speak with him.
Ulisses' Shop: Sir Gustavo restrains Ulisses, He, Miguel, and Consuelo explain all and return the medallion to Macaria, who believes them. Ulisses asks where the varlet is.
Her Ladyship's Bedchamber: Opera love music underscores this conversation.
Ana Paula: Rogelio, how are you?
Rogelio: Missing you. But happy because we'll see each other soon. As you heard, tomorrow is my operation.
Ana Paula: All should go well. And here we're all thinking of you.
Rogelio: You know the only thing I want is for you to think of me.
Ana Paula: Of course I think of you and thank you for the flowers. They're beautiful.
Rogelio: It's good you are pleased. I was worried because Gustavo got a call –

Marcial enters to inform her that the secretary of agriculture has completed the tests. Lord Abel and the official enter to give her the news. She smugly states that they found nothing, but Lord Abel states that they found traces of clenbuterol in all the feeding troughs.
That which is to come
Lady Chatterley and Vainessa argue, Lady Chatterley is threatened with prison over the clenbuterol, and Margarito spills the frijoles to His Lordship.

It’s Ingrid Navarro (played by Isabella Camil)! Gael’s mama is back!

Padre gives Ingrid a piece of his mind for having abandoned her child. She had no other choice! She had nothing to offer the child! Padre tells her that Gael may be a grown man,he doesn't need a mother. Padre always had the feeling that for her, Gael was a problem. Gael thinks his parents are dead. Ingrid understands that her sudden appearance is going to shake things up, but she wants to get her child back. Padre thinks she has no right to bother Gael. She is going to fight to get him back. She takes her rolling bag and leaves. Padre prays.
Elisa calls home and explains the Gabino/Lucio drama to Carmeany. Elisa asks her aunt to explain to dad she’ll be with her madrina. As Carmeany hangs up, Lola asks who was calling so late. Carmeany lies and says it was a wrong number.
Blanca talks to the unconscious Lucio. Typical “you've got to get better/don’t leave me alone/I need you” TN dialogue. Elisa comes in to check on Lucio. Blanca (wow she’s a drippy crier) asks if Elisa called home. Blanca is glad Elisa is there with her. Pessimism and tears…until Lucio wakes and wants water, wonders why Blanca is crying and asks who died . That old scamp!
Dam comes looking for Flo in her bedroom. He sees the amulet and throws it in the trash. Flo asks why he did that. Dam explains he now thinks it’s not worth it. It’s a bit of foolishness. He bought it to help his father and a few days later he died, so the amulet is not as lucky as he thought. Flo tells him not to think of it as an amulet but as just something pretty. She rescues it from the trash and puts it on. Smoochies and sax (not a typo.)
Gael comes looking for Padre in the church. Padre tells him he’s praying for God to give Gael strength to face the problems life is going to throw at him. Gael doesn’t understand and Padre explains that suddenly he realizes that Gael is grown and while Padre has given him everything he could, decisions about Gael’s life are all in Gael’s hands. Padre Lupe is Gael’s dad…not bio-dad, but you know what I mean. He tried to give him as normal a life as he could. Padre explains further how much he loves Gael and how everything he did was from the heart. He knows he may have made mistakes, but he cares about Gael and loves him like a son.. Gael would never judge him harshly. They hug. Fabulous scene. *recapper gets misty eyed*
Meahwhile, Ingrid has arrived at the hotel and is being shown her room. The Lady of the Inn (played by one of the gossips in STuD) is nosy and asks her how long she’s staying and if she’s seen Ingrid before in La Ermita. She seems familiar. Suddenly Ingrid is messing with her hair and appears to me to be trying to hide her face. Ingrid denies having been in town before. Nosy Lady of the Inn says she must have confused the guest with someone else and leaves.
Lucio is annoyed at having to stay at the hospital. Dr. Toofar says he can go home, but must rest and may still have a headache and dizziness. Doc asks if they will be pressing charges against Gabino. Blanca says yes. Lucio says no. He thinks it would just make things worse. Blanca tells Elisa to head home. She has to rest after spending THE WHOLE NIGHT at the hospital. As she leaves she asks Doc if he has the results of the blood test yet. He doesn’t, but he will let her know as soon as he does.
Gabino is waiting for Elisa right outside the hospital. He asks about Lucio and Elisa tells him he’s fine, but if anything had happened to Lucio Gabino would be in jail. Gabino says everything is ok, so there's nothing to pay. Thanks to the CC I know is mush mouthed line was that he wanted to kiss Elisa the night before and find out if she was as skilled as her mother (lines I wish I *hadn't* gotten a translation for.) Elisa tells him not to talk bad about her mother. Doc T comes out and asks if there’s a problem. Elisa says it’s nothing she can’t solve herself. Gabino slithers away.

Lola tells Assgusto how worried she is that Elisa did not sleep at home ‘cause Carmeany is a beech and didn’t tell anyone about Lucio and the hospital and OMG the orange ho’ is in the next room eavesdropping and smiling like crazy. *recapper seethe* Assgusto, of course, thinks the worst of his daughter. She must have spent the night with someone.
Paolo clearly enunciates his disgust with the coffee. Dam comes in and finds out that his mami has found a position for the Lay-about-Paolo at the procesadora. Carmina manages to look a smidge contrite, but it’s just a ruse *seethe seethe seethe*. Lola has seen all of this and she looks pithed.
Alfonsina and Bore-gonia gossip about the Gab/Lucio fight and Gabino in general. Bore-gonia comes up with a take on the fight that makes it look like a flirty Elisa is to blame. Alfie agrees that must be what happened.

Blanca talks to the unconscious Lucio. Typical “you've got to get better/don’t leave me alone/I need you” TN dialogue. Elisa comes in to check on Lucio. Blanca (wow she’s a drippy crier) asks if Elisa called home. Blanca is glad Elisa is there with her. Pessimism and tears…until Lucio wakes and wants water, wonders why Blanca is crying and asks who died . That old scamp!
Dam comes looking for Flo in her bedroom. He sees the amulet and throws it in the trash. Flo asks why he did that. Dam explains he now thinks it’s not worth it. It’s a bit of foolishness. He bought it to help his father and a few days later he died, so the amulet is not as lucky as he thought. Flo tells him not to think of it as an amulet but as just something pretty. She rescues it from the trash and puts it on. Smoochies and sax (not a typo.)
Gael comes looking for Padre in the church. Padre tells him he’s praying for God to give Gael strength to face the problems life is going to throw at him. Gael doesn’t understand and Padre explains that suddenly he realizes that Gael is grown and while Padre has given him everything he could, decisions about Gael’s life are all in Gael’s hands. Padre Lupe is Gael’s dad…not bio-dad, but you know what I mean. He tried to give him as normal a life as he could. Padre explains further how much he loves Gael and how everything he did was from the heart. He knows he may have made mistakes, but he cares about Gael and loves him like a son.. Meahwhile, Ingrid has arrived at the hotel and is being shown her room. The Lady of the Inn (played by one of the gossips in STuD) is nosy and asks her how long she’s staying and if she’s seen Ingrid before in La Ermita. She seems familiar. Suddenly Ingrid is messing with her hair and appears to me to be trying to hide her face. Ingrid denies having been in town before. Nosy Lady of the Inn says she must have confused the guest with someone else and leaves.
Lucio is annoyed at having to stay at the hospital. Dr. Toofar says he can go home, but must rest and may still have a headache and dizziness. Doc asks if they will be pressing charges against Gabino. Blanca says yes. Lucio says no. He thinks it would just make things worse. Blanca tells Elisa to head home. She has to rest after spending THE WHOLE NIGHT at the hospital. As she leaves she asks Doc if he has the results of the blood test yet. He doesn’t, but he will let her know as soon as he does.
Gabino is waiting for Elisa right outside the hospital. He asks about Lucio and Elisa tells him he’s fine, but if anything had happened to Lucio Gabino would be in jail.
