Caray, Caray!

EPISODE 14:
Rosita enters the bedroom - she looks around at the mess and closes the door. Ludovico jumps out from behind the bed and growls - Rosita screams - kids laugh as they climb out of the closet. Rosita isn't amuzed and tells the kids to leave - everyone has been worried and looking for them. As the kids leave, Ludovico apologizes to Rosita. Rosita accepts and gives him advice before she leaves. Ludovico is upset and thinks he is ugly and unlovable.

Julieta talks with Angelita in her office about Nico. Before she leaves, Angelita asks her to do a favor - go to the hospital to bring a young girl to the center - the girl's name is Consuela and Angelita tells Julieta to be a friend and guardian for the girl. Angelita trusts her to accomplish it and hands Julieta the address. Rodo enters as Julieta tries to turn the task down but Angelita encourages her. Julieta leaves. Rodo expresses his opinions; Angelita says to give her a chance.

In the activity room, Julieta runs into Tonita and another worker. Tonita asks what the paper is for - Julieta doesn't say too much, only that it is about money and leaves.

Blanca and Jacinto talk in the workshop about their past history. She's missed him so much - he thinks it is 40 years too late for a reconciliation. She is upset and leaves - he grumbles to himself.

In bedroom alone, Julieta puts a wad of pesos in her bra and stuffs several items in a plastic bag.

Jacinto talks with Nico in the workshop. Jacinto looks at Nico's hands and asks him about his musical talents - they talk about Jacinto's love of pianos. Jacinto shows Nico an ad for a special piano and the price. Jacinto's dream is to own this particular expensive piano and is saving his money to purchase it - Ernesto eavesdrops on the conversation. Nico agrees to help Jacinto.

In the bedroom, Casimiro talks with Ludovico about how to win over Angelita. Ludovico gives him suggestions and encouragement. Casimiro leaves - Ludovico prays to Boss with report.

In the office, Rodo and Angelita discuss the bad vibrations being felt around the center. They list all the new arrivals - Rodo mentions Casimiro and that she hasn't been herself when he's around. Angelita is surprised. Angelita suggests that they do a complete background check on all of the new arrivals. Rosita enters to tell them that Casimiro and Nico are waiting outside.

Nico enters the office and talks with Angelita and Rodo about his interest in living and working at the center. Angelita welcomes Nico.

Casimiro is in the reception area with a cup of tea he specially prepared for Angelita - Rosita tells him that she and Rodo are busy right now. Casimiro is very enchanted with Angelita.

Angelita explains the rules to Nico for life at the center complex.

Nurse Berenice encourages Blanca to open up and go on with life. Blanca is depressed; she thinks that her whole family doesn't love her or want her around - that she is nothing but an obligation and a bank account to them. Berenice tells her that her niece Maricela wants to visit her and is waiting downstairs to see her. Blanca is excited and happy.

Angelita and Rodo finish their talk with Nico in the office. Nico leaves. Rosita enters and Angelita asks about Casimiro. Rosita tells her that he just left but will return later. Angelita says when he returns to send him in, she wants to talk with him. Rosita thinks he is really weird. Rodo gives his opinion. Angelita thinks he is a good person, just lost and misunderstood.

Julieta then enters with Consuela to meet with Angelita, Rodo and Rosita. Angelita says hello and welcomes Consuela to the center. Julieta thanks Angelita for trusting her with the money and the task. Angelita says she always had faith in her. Rosita escorts Consuelta and Julieta out of the office. Rodo and Angelita comment on Julieta's change.

The children pull Ludovico into the activity room - they like him and want him to stay and play. Tonita comes over and helps the children convince Ludovico to stay. They walk over to talk with Blanca and Berenice, then move on and help with the decorating. In the middle of decoration, Ludovico walks to the side - he is scared of the new strange feeling that is coming over him. Tonita and the children ask him what's wrong - he thinks he wants to cry - Tonita says it's okay to cry - she gives him a hug as he starts to cry.

Angelita invites Casimiro into her office to talk. He presents her with a bouquet of a dozen roses to show his affection for her - it startles and shocks Angelita. Rodo steps into the office, takes the roses and defends Angelita's reaction as he pushes Casimiro out of the office quickly. Angelita sits down and takes a deep breath.

Ludovico finishes hanging signs and decorations in the activity room. Everyone cheers his good work. As Rodo enters, Ludovico has a panic attack, gets scared and runs out of the room. Casimiro finds him cowering in fear in the corner of the dining hall. Casimiro tries to talk him into coming out. He won't, he's too scared. Rodo comes in and tries to coax Ludovico out of the corner. Ludovico doesn't move.

Rodo finds Angelita in her private greenhouse. They discuss Casimiro and the roses, as well as Ludovico. Rosita enters and Rodo tells her what happened with Casimiro and his roses. Rosita can't believe he would dare do something like that. Rodo thinks he is somewhere between good and evil. Rosita wonders if he may be trying to kill Angelita.

Casimiro and Ludovico talk in their bedroom about Angelita and Rodo's reactions to the roses. Ludovico gives him another idea and encouragement to win over Angelita. He hands Casimiro a special ring that Casimiro can give her.

Cucis talks with Angelita in her office - Cucis has enough for an ordinary article about Rodo, but she's more interested in doing an article about the center and wonders if Angelita will allow her to do it. Angelita doesn't see anything wrong with Cucis interviewing the residents, and suggests she do it from the perspective "a dream to be lived." Cucis likes the suggestion and asks about taking photos - Angelita comments about photos no, dreams yes.

Rosita talks with Casimiro in the reception area about his obsession with Angelita - they argue - Casimiro thinks she is just trying to keep true love from blossoming.

In the dining hall, Nico and Tonita are talking and setting the tables. Ernesto enters and Tonita stops and gives him a hug. Nico is jealous. When Tonita leaves, Nico expressed his jealousy and pulls a knife on Ernesto. Ernesto tells him to drop the act, there's nothing to be jealous of. Ernesto asks Nico to talk in private in his bedroom. Tonita returns to work; Ernesto and Nico excuses themselves and leave.

Rosita talks with Rodo about her argument with Casimiro, and the danger to Angelita.

Julieta is brushing Consuela's hair in her bedroom. Angelita enters to visit. Angelita teaches Consuela a way to say yes and no (one blink for yes; two for no), then she asks Consuela if she's sad, Consuela blinks once and then hugs Angelita.

In Ernesto's bedroom, Ernesto shows Nico the ad on the internet for the piano that Jacinto wants to buy. They discuss the price. Tonita runs in and joins the discussion of how they are ever going to raise the money to buy it. Tonita is depressed about her own dream that may never come true. Tonita starts to cry and runs quickly out of the room. Ernesto explains to Nico why she left like she did (her dream).

Jacinto holds his envelope with his saved pesos as he talks with Cucis in the workshop. Tonita runs in crying and then vanishes away just as fast. Jacinto excuses himself - he needs to go check on her.

Berenice talks with Angelita in the administration offices about Blanca and her family. Berenice asks if they can have a second opinion on Blanca's diagnosis and treatment. Angelita offers Berenice the use of her office to make the phone call. As Berenice walks away, Angelita goes over to Cucis and tells her to not include anything scandalous about the center in her article.

In the dining hall, Angelita watches from the side as Jacinto gives Tonita his envelope of pesos. Tonita is so excited and happy. Tonita runs off. Angelita asks him about his piano. He replies, "Some dreams are more important than others."

Greece now has its own version of Yo Soy Betty, La Fea. It's called Μαρία, Η Άσχημη ("Maria, the ugly one"). This is the only photo I've been able to find so far.

Miriam runs into Gabriel in the front hall of the house. He suggests that Joselyn might need her since he just told Joselyn that he loves MA. Gabriel says that he does not blame Joselyn totally for what has happened but he wants to move forward with his life, with his children and MA whom he has loved from afar for a long time.

Miriam rushes to the door of the office but the door is locked and Joselyn doesn’t answer.

Demian is visiting Paulina and JC. [Without his beard, JC could pass for a woman] When he leaves, JC remarks on the change in Demian and how it has affected his mother.

Demian comes downstairs where Miriam is hanging around outside the locked office door. He says that he wants to speak to Joselyn. Miriam explains that she has locked herself in the office and won’t open the door even for her. Demian asks Miriam to give Joselyn a message that Federico has asked Gabriel to visit him in prison on a matter of urgency that is related to Josleyn. Miriam is impactada.

Gabriel goes to see Federico and he tells Gabriel that he is Joselyn’s true father. Gabriel is impactado. ‘Does Joselyn know this?’ asks Gabriel. ‘Oh yes, she knows,’ responds Federico.

Miriam gets the keys and unlocks the door of the office, where Joselyn is crouched on the ground crying. [Her face is covered with tears and that eye makeup does not run – not even a little.] Miriam gives her the bad news about Gabriel’s visit to Federico in prison. Joselyn tell Miriam about Gabriel’s confession that he loves MA. Miriam tells Joselyn that they need to focus on the fact that if Federico tells MA that he didn’t kill Edgar, she and Joselyn could be in trouble. Joselyn pulls herself together with a drink and says that she will go to see Federico.

Paulina asks JC about having breakfast with Karen. He tells her that he loves he more than anything etc. etc. Paulina says that she is afraid that someone wants to separate them and do them harm. JC reassures her that nothing will come between them. Paulina then says how much she wants to get out of this house and get back to her love nest with JC.

MA tells Candelaria that she doesn’t like living at the mansion but she believes that Joselyn had something to do with the death of her mother. Candelaria is impactada.

Leo tells Silvestre that now that MA has left Candelaria’s house he has lost her forever and all his illusions have been destroyed. Silvestre says he knows what it is to love without hope and they have to be strong. He also tells Leo not to give up his dreams.

Gabriel tells Regina that he went to see JC and Paulina and offered them all his support. Regina thanks him and says that if JC and Paulina are happy, then she is happy. She and Gabriel kiss passionately.

Delores tells Paulina that JC is a great guy. Paulina tells Dolores that she is sorry about what happened to Edgar. Dolores tells Paulina that she is glad that she had the opportunity to tell Edgar that she loved him before he was killed and that Paulina should not hide her feelings for anyone because she might never get the opportunity to tell that person about them. Paulina agrees and says that she doesn’t understand why Federico would kill Edgar. Dolores replies that Federico did not kill Edgar but she won’t say any more.

Gabriel and Nicolas are looking for Joselyn but she has gone to the prison to see Federico. However, Federico refuses to see her.

MA tells Candelaria about what the nurse, Cecilia, saw in the hospital. Since no one hates MA as much as Joselyn, MA believes that it was she who killed her mother. Candelaria says that MA need conclusive proof to accuse Joselyn and MA agrees.

Leo and Cecilia convince the hospital to show them the security video of the corridor outside Aurora’s room. They see a woman dressed as a nurse go in but the view is from the back and they can’t be sure that it is Joselyn.

Luisito and David are messing around in the courtyard of the mansion and Joselyn comes and yells at them. MA appears and she and Joselyn have a screaming match where Joselyn tells MA that she is a bastard of low social status and MA says that this is her house so she has every right to be there.

The doctor tells Paulina that she is doing better but she needs to stay at the mansion for the time being. Paulina says that she feels useless and Regina produces a laptop and some work for her to do.

MA goes into the office to confront Joselyn about mistreating the children. Joselyn accuses MA of having an affair with Gabriel behind her back. MA denies it and once again warns Joselyn to leave the children alone. MA says that if Joselyn wants war, war it is. Joselyn says that now she is seeing the real MA and she is ashamed to have her as a sister. In comes Gabriel and drops the bombshell that he knows that MA and Joselyn are not sisters and that Joselyn is Federico’s daughter. Joselyn tries to deny it. Gabriel says that he won’t let Joselyn hurt him and MA anymore. Joselyn throws out a few more insults and leaves in a huff.

Regina has heard the arguing from the office and asks MA and Gabriel what is going on. MA tells her that Joselyn is not her sister. Regina is impactado.

Nicolas tells Rogelio that Diana wants a divorce. Rogelio says fine but he won’t give her a peso and Nicolas says no problem, she just wants her freedom.

Miriam comes to see Otilia and they try one-upmanship in insults. Otilia offers Miriam a job when her salon fails and offers to lend her some change. Miriam says to keep it to use at the beauty salon when she is having her “chinitos de quinceanera” fixed. My dictionary doesn’t have a definition for ‘chino’ that would make sense but obviously Miriam is suggesting that Otilia is trying to keep an appearance that is too young for her age (the reference to the ‘quinceanera,’ a girl’s 15th birthday celebration).

Regina tells MA that now she must decide what she going to do. She and Gabriel love one another and there is no longer any reason for them to be apart. Gabriel agrees. ‘What about his family?’ asks MA. Gabriel says that his children would not have any problem with his being happy with MA. MA says that she is confused and has to think. She leaves. Gabriel is upset but Regina counsels patience. Eventually MA will listen to her heart.

Leo runs into Miriam on the street. She invites him for a coffee.

While making a big mess with a skein of yarn, Candelaria tells Father Anselmo about MA’s suspicion that Joselyn murdered MA’s mother.

At a coffee shop, Miriam asks Leo to use his influence over MA to get her to leave the mansion. Her presence may cause Joselyn to have another breakdown. Miriam will give him money to offer MA. Leo is offended and tells Miriam about the dignity of poor people. He leaves and as he goes, Miriam says, ‘Wait, son.’ Leo turns back to her and says that he isn’t her son and she isn’t his mother. He leaves.

MA tells Candelaria and Father Anselmo the news about her not being Joselyn’s sister. They are impactados but they tell MA that now nothing and no one can impede her and Gabriel getting together.

Gabriel tells Luisito, Paulina and JC the same news and they all agree that now he and MA can be happy together.

In her office, Miriam recalls Leo saying that he is not her son and she is not his mother. She vows not to let her unhappy past mess up the present. Ingrid comes in and tells her that Joselyn is looking everywhere for her.

MA cries while thinking about all that her father suffered at the hands of Miriam and Joselyn.

Miriam comes to meet Josleyn in a bar and Joselyn tells her about Federico’s revelation to Gabriel. Miriam is impactada. Miriam wants Joselyn to leave the bar but she refuses. Tiberio is in the bar and he offers to take care of Joselyn.

Gabriel asks MA to dinner. MA says that she isn’t sure that they should be together. He tells her how much he loves her and she smiles.

Coyote calls Regina from prison and threatens JC.

Miriam comes to see Federico in prison and chews him out for telling Gabriel that he is Josleyn’s father. Rather unwisely, in my opinion, Federico tells Miriam that he is going to reveal everything – that Miriam forged the signature on Clemente’s will and that it was Joselyn who really killed Edgar. Miriam is impactada as the credits roll.

TOMORROW: MA gets boinked by Gabriel!!

We open at Conceptos with Lola wondering how Rafael is doing and Sara saying he’s the same or worse, that he’s in his ultimate days and Marta doesn’t want to hear it because it’s ruining the tamale..? Don Fer walks in and takes it away from Marta and proceeds to eat it saying something about seeing if it’s poisoned. He continues eating it and then asks if anyone heard from Lety, which no one did so he offers the tamale to Sara on behalf of Marta, then finally gives it back to her after she has foamed at the mouth plenty. Marta says he never comes out of his office poor thing, as if he never gave it up. Sara says well what’s he going to do, sit out here with us? She calls Omar the Imbecile and tells him Fer waits for him. Sara wonders what in the world could it be that makes Fer worry so much about the whereabouts of Lety. Marta doesn’t know but she’s upset that Lety left without explaining anything, she wonders if Lety got other friends, and Sara says she’s not capable of something so low.

Back at the beach Aldo and Lety are talking about the fishermen and she asks if he’ll show her how to fish. He says of course, you make a beautiful fisherwoman. She doesn’t believe him. He wants to run again, she begs him no because she’s hurting, then she fakes him out and takes off and he follows her.

Back at Conceptos Fer is back in his supposedly former office again the phone rings and he yells for Lety to answer, then he catches himself. But he answers asking if it’s Lety. Of course it’s not, it’s his Mom, and they are coming by later and she wants to make sure things are ready for them. She hangs up on him and he thinks it’s awkward for her to do that.

At the beach, Caro shows up in a funky green get up and wonders what they were doing. Aldo explains why they were running, and Lety appears very fatigued. Aldo tells her a good bath will fix her up and he leaves to go prepare the food. Caro tells her they have to hurry because they have to be at many places. She hopes a bath will indeed help.

Back at Conceptos, the cuartel continues their speculation about Fer sleepwalking around and worrying about Lety, that she’s ok and her leaving without explaining. La Oxi walks in and the insults begin to fly. Juana mocks her sashays. They discuss her taking care of Don Humberto, and she makes a crack about Lety being the queen of the feas and the boss of the cuartel, and Roller Derby chic busts out again trying to pick a fight with Alicia and she essentially ignores Sara.

In Fer’s office he tells Omar that Lety is not going to show up, instead Mora is coming. Omar is impactado. He laughs and says there is then an exchange of gargolitas and now he’ll have the privilege of seeing the masculine version. Fer gets mad and tells him to call her by her name. Omar wonders if he knows where Lety is and Fer angrily says no. Omar makes fun of him having everything in control and asks if he doesn’t think all this is strange. Fer says of course it’s strange, what a foolish question. Omar then wonders what happened to his tie. Fer sarcastically says that he is so observant; he hasn’t worn a tie for two days. He yells that Omar is walking around here with his head in the clouds essentially pretending that everything is perfect. Omar says not in the clouds, but at least it should be that no one can notice your misery and failure.

Back in Acapulco Lety is quizzing the Bellezas on their trivia skills for the competition. They thank her for helping them. She tells them besides being beautiful they should be well prepared. She then mentions that she knows someone very beautiful but very lacking and she says they call her the Oxigenada….

Back at Conceptos the very same is wondering if Lety is coming. They tell her she’s not coming because she’s out of the City. Oxi speculates where she might be, at a Fea conference, on vacation to get her cousins the Mummies of Guanajuato (famous mummy museum there, bodies in the late 1800’s early 1900’s whose families couldn’t pay a grave tax were dug up and put on display for public shame). She then jokes that maybe she went to the Nuestra Bellezas pageant in Acapulco, and says no way, not that…..

Back at the pageant Caro now tries her hand at asking the test questions. Alex shows up and comments that the beauty is much more important than the knowledge. Nice... Caro asks what year the Berlin wall came down, and then in which treaty did Mexico lose almost half of it’s territory. Do you know? I’ll post the answer later…Lety is upset because the girls seem to forget all of the things she went over with them and none of them knew the answers.

Back at Conceptos Oxi tells them they should get to work and not have so much concern for one person. Roller Derby chic breaks out and tells Oxi not to provoke her. Oxi tells them that the Mendiolas and Ariel will arrive any minute and she doesn’t want them to see this disorder. They make fun of her assertion of authority. She snaps back that because Fer is no longer Pres and Omar not Vice Pres and Lopez and Marcia aren’t there, she is the highest authority. Ariel sneaks in and hears her oration. The cuartel see him and start working feverishly. Alicia tells the cuartel no one is superior to her and that’s how she likes to see them, listening to the president of Conceptos referring to herself. Ariel interrupts and asks Oxi how they can help her. She tries to cover, he just tells her to get coffee to the conference room. He asks if she knows if Lety is coming, Alicia thinks that she has many commitments and can’t show up. He wonders what is so important that she can’t show up. She says Lety thinks she’s more important than anyone including him.

Back at the pageant Caro scolds the girls that their marks will be really low. She continues asking questions and Lety starts to run around shouting the answers to the girls. Caro catches her and wants to know what she is doing. We see a camera that is filming the girls then zoom in on Lety. Hmmm….

Back at Conceptos Humb and Teri show up to Abitchita fawning all over them. He asks if everyone is in the meeting, including Lety. Oxi tells them the roll call, and that Lety is not expected. Marcia shows up next and they tell her everyone is here but the meeting hasn’t yet started.

We are now back at Irma’s and she is telling Luigi she hopes that he’ll find peace from their plan to have her children come and that confession is always a relief in one’s last hours. Luigi tells her to stop. She explains death is depressing. Luigi thinks she is an angel and that she shouldn’t have done this after all that happened. She tells him that Rafa is still a human being going through a hard time and that she might be able to do something. Just then the doorbell rings. Luigi answers to greet Irma’s daughter and granddaughter. They embrace wholeheartedly.

Back in the meeting everyone takes his or her place and Ariel wonders when Lety will arrive. Fer tells him she won’t.

Back at Irma’s tears all around, as everyone gets introduced to each other.

Humb is mad that Lety isn’t coming and thinks the meeting should have been cancelled. Fer tells them a representative will come, Mora. Ariel makes fun that she abandoned them to her boyfriend.

Outside Abitchia is yelling at the waitress who’s had enough and she yells back that ever since she lost her car she’s been much more hateful that she was even before. Oxi curses Mora as she walks away. On cue the bell rings and Mora comes out of the elevator. He hides from the Oxi and almost gets away with it, but she sees him and asks him why he’s here, desgraciado, and he tells her he has an important meeting. Sara tells him where to go and the meeting folks are impactado when he walks in and announces himself there on behalf of Lety. He hopes this will be brief because he has a packed agenda. There are looks exchanged as he takes his seat. Humb tells him how surprised they are that Lety doesn’t show up. Tomas asks if Fer didn’t tell them she was out of the city for a few days.

Back in Aca. Lety apologizes profusely for helping the contestants claiming that they are very nervous and she just wanted to help. Caro forgives her.

The priest has shown up at Irma’s to take Rafael’s final confession and now Irma takes her daughter to see Rafa. Luigi is left to entertain the grand-daughter. He makes a baby face but realizes she’s too old for that. Rafa is thrilled to see his daughter. Luigi talks to the granddaughter, even throwing in some English to her, saying how cool Irma is. The doorbell rings, Luigi answers and it’s the son Jorge. Luigi is impactado.

Back at the meeting Ariel wants to know if Lety knows how important it was that she was here. Fer says he could only leave messages. Tomas says she knows and that’s why he was sent as the legal representative, the manager of Filmo Imagen, he has cards but he forgot them. The lawyer says you may be these things, but you are not the proprietor so you can’t give them back the company. Tomas says, well yes, but she left the necessary authorization paper. Ariel says it wasn’t sufficient, she might be a swift economist etc. but she’s not a lawyer. Marcia suspects she did it on purposes and demands to know where Lety is. Tomas says he’s not authorized to give out that info and Fer has known this since he came to the house to look for Lety.

Jorge greets his niece and Luigi yells at him for hanging up, and Jorge apologizes that he was just mad at all his father did and that Luigi’s call made him decide to come after all. They kiss and make up…well anyway. Rafa is thrilled to have his daughter and she pardons him. He inquires about whether Jorge is coming too. Irma and the daughter aren’t sure what to say. So to give them time to think we go back to the meeting where Marcia proclaims how suspicious it is that Lety has gone away just now.

Tomas says it would be suspicious if neither of us came, but he says he presented his face for the both of them. Ariel tells him his face is ugly enough that it’s not sufficient. Omar cackles then shuts up. Tomas says well it’s simple then, you’ll have to wait for Lety to get back. Marcia wants to know where she is. He tells her he can’t divulge that either. Ariel warns him that if Lety doesn’t show up as soon as possible, they will have to resort to other methods of remedy. And the dum dum dum dum plays …….

Casimiro is in a meeting with Angelita about chef openings at the center. Jacinto brings in some tea for Casimiro - Casimiro thanks him and then pulls out some herbs to steep in the tea; claims it is for medicinal purposes. Angelita is curious and asks to see the herbs. She doesn't see anything bad of the herbs and gives them back as Casimiro leaves with Jacinto.

Rodo continues his interview with Cucis in the center activity room.

Jacinto shows Casimiro to his room - as Casimiro starts to unpack, he has a dizzy spell and falls onto his bed. Jacinto is worried and runs to get Angelita.

Boss tells Ludovico that he will be sent to take care of handling the new plan against the angels; since Alberto was such a lost cause. Ludovico wonders about finding a mate for himself - Boss laughs and tells him go for it if he finds someone interested. Boss then advises him on making sure the plan is a success.

Angelita puts a round pill in Casimiro's mouth. Casimiro regains consciousness and wonders what the pill is - she says it is a special medicine. She leaves the room. Jacinto asks how many fingers he is holding up - Casimiro counts five, then tells Jacinto he feels better than he's ever felt before.

Cucis talks with Rodo about Angelita and the center's objectives. She starts to mouth off against Angelita - "Tonita" (Yadhira Carillo in pigtails) hears it and dares to take her on a full tour of the facility to see the good work firsthand.

First stop is to see Blanca and her nurse in the dining hall. As they leave, the nurse mentions how handsome Rodo is - she thinks he is a famous actor, Blanca laughs and says she must be mistaken.

Julieta arrives at the center, depressed and crying.

Tonita takes Cucis to the activity room and explains why several of the people are there, and the kindness and good work Angelita provides them. Then she walks Cucis to Julieta's (a different one) room - Tonita says hello - Julieta talks to her briefly. Tonita tells Cucis Julieta's story and dares her to interview her and the others. Cucis is curious about Tonita's story.

Boss and Ludovico arrive at reception area of "Angels Inc.". Rosita has them wait to visit with Angelita about Ludovico residing there.

In the office, Angelita and Rodo discuss Julieta finally coming to the center for help.

Tonita takes Cucis to see Angelita's private suite.

As Rodo leaves the office, Boss recognizes him and tells Ludovico that he is one of them (angels). Ludovico thinks they should be extra careful.

Rodo goes to the dining hall and sits down to visit with Blanca and her nurse. Nurse is irritating Blanca and Blanca counters with her own opinions about nurse and Teresa. Rodo jumps in and asks the nurse why she continues to disturb Blanca. Nurse gets very uncomfortable with the direct question - Blanca answers that nurse thinks she is crazy. Casimiro enters the dining room and interrupts the conversation; then is called away.

Angelita is visiting Julieta in her room. Julieta is upset and depressed about her bad luck and losing her children. She feels quilty and wants to apologize to those she's hurt but doesn't know how. Angelita forgives her - Julieta is surprised - they hug. Angelita tells her to now work on forgiving herself and changing for the better. Tonita and Cucis eavesdrop from outside the doorway.

Casimiro visits with Boss and Ludovico in the reception area. They ask him questions about Angelita and Rodo. During the conversation, Casimiro escorts them to his room at the center.

As the nurse and Blanca argue and stand up to leave, Jacinto enters. He recognizes Blanca and Blanca seems to recognize him, until Angelita mentions it and then Blanca denies ever knowing him. Jacinto's feelings are hurt. Angelita tells her that Jacinto is one of the founders of the center and is a fine upstanding man. Angelita escorts Jacinto out of dining room.

In Casimiro's room, Boss talks with Casimiro.

Cucis waits in the activity room. Angelita and Tonita enter. Angelita asks how she liked the tour of the center. Cucis has learned alot about the good work performed there. Angelita forcibly excuses Tonita to return to her work in the kitchen. Tonita skips out the door. Alone, Angelita asks Cucis not to put anything she saw on Tonita's tour in the article - she doesn't want a lot of publicity. Cucis agrees. They enter the children activity room.

In Casimiro's room, Casimiro continues talking with Boss and Ludovico. (Boss and Ludovico use their powers of persuasion to get Casimiro to help them with their plan.) Casimiro reveals he has a crush on Angelita and Boss uses this to get Casimiro to work with them. Boss gives him a special love emulet and advises him on how to use it on Angelita. Casimiro is nervous, takes it and leaves. Boss and Ludovico laugh about how good the plan is starting to unfold; he has every confidence that Ludovico can continue to make it a success.

Casimiro returns to the room and talks with Ludovico about the children's party at the center tonight. Ludovico isn't a party person and wishes to stay in the room; Casimiro tries to convince him to join in the festivities but Ludovico is adamantly opposed. He is only there to help Casimiro, not to participate in the events. As Casimiro tries to touch Ludovico, Ludovico pulls away.

Rosita brings Jacinto the paper and asks him what is wrong. Jacinto is nervous but doesn't reveal his reasons.

Rosita then enters the office - Angelita and Rodo are working on invitations. Rosita volunteers to deliver the special one so Angelita hands it to her.

Blanca tells her nurse about her past history with Jacinto - apparently he was an old boyfriend that her father didn't approve of and refused to allow her to see.

In the offices, Ernesto surprises his grandfather Jacinto for Day of the Three Kings. They hug. Ernesto presses Jacinto to open his present early - Jacinto is excited to receive a complete wrench set. Jacinto updates his grandson on his life and what he will do for the holiday. Ernesto says he will return soon and leaves.

Casimiro meets with Angelita in her office. He asks about the pill - she explains what it was and why she gave it to him. Casimiro is enchanted by Angelita's compassion and understanding for him. She mentions him taking or helping with classes (like Jacinto does). Casimiro says the only classes he is interested in. They both become very awkward.

Casimiro carries tray from the kitchen and talks with Tonita in the dining room. He leaves. Naco man enters and talks with Tonita then he walks over to start bothering Blanca, her nurse and another man sitting at the table. Tonita tells Naco man to stop it. He continues and makes Blanca, nurse and the man move to the other end of the table. He and Tonita sit down and talk. When Ernesto enters, Tonita happily jumps up from her chair and runs to hug him. They leave together.

Two of the children enter Casimiro's room. They start to ask Ludovico annoying questions. He closes the doors and then roars and scares the children - the children scream.

In the activity room, Naco man thinks he recognizes Julieta. She claims not to know him. They talk about Angelita and Tonita. Rodo enters, desperately looking for someone - Tonita tells him where Jacinto is. Julieta remembers that she does know Naco man and moves to another table. Rodo leaves. Naco man walks over to talk with Tonita, and Julieta watches them like a hawk.

Rodo finds Jacinto, Casimiro and others in classroom. The others join Rodo on his search. Casimiro and Jacinto stay behind in the room.

Rosita opens the door and Ludovico shows his bloody mouth and fangs - Rosita screams.

EPISODE 60:
* MA and Leo are meeting with Cecilia at a restaurant. She tells them about the mysterious nurse she watched enter and exit Aurora's room the night she died. Cecilia suspects that this person was responsible for Aurora's death. MA and Leo are both stunned.

* Jossie and Miriam plot together against MA - Miriam advises Jossie to be smart about it and be careful.

* Demian and Regina are at the office - Regina is about to leave - they kiss before she departs. Tiberio enters and holds the door for Regina. Tiberio and Demian sit down and Tiberio informs him of the shocking news, Gabriel has moved back into the palace because Pau is there.

* Dolores meets with JC and Pau in the bedroom. JC and Pau don't trust Karen and don't want her near them. Dolores advises that they should show a little patience and understanding towards Karen - with a mom and grandmother like she has, she doesn't know anything about unconditional true love.

* Otilia and MA enter the office - Karen has a hissy-fit when she sees MA. Otilia puts her in her place and tells her if she doesn't like it, she can always quit.

* Tiberio and Demian discuss business in the office. Demian brings up Tiberio's friendship and work relationship with Rogelio.

* Karen is about to leave MA in the office when Di enters. Karen scowls as she exits. Di is happy to see MA and welcomes her. Di gives MA some advice on being independent.

* Demian meets with Rogelio in the office. Demian doesn't have any opening at the moment, but soon he may have a position for him. Rogelio says he will be ready to work when he calls.

* Coyote is cornered in the prison showers by a gang of prison bullies who pull out a knife and start to rough him up and scare him. Coyote screams. The guards come in and the gang leaves quietly and denies everything.

* Regina meets and checks in on Pau and JC at the palace. Pau tells Regina that she is like a mom to her; then she tells JC how much she loves him. JC loves her and their child also.

* Demian paces the front hall of his house. He jumps when Tiberio enters - Tiberio guesses that he is waiting for Regina, and makes a comment about JC's new family. Demian erupts in a fit of jealous rage, and Tiberio stands smiling on the stairs. He is happy the "old" Demian has returned.

* Gabriel stops by MA's apartment. They discuss her inheritance. She can't fathom living in the same place as Jossie, Miriam and Karen.

* Miriam, Jossie and Karen have a "fiera" pow-wow in the palace office about how to get the inheritance from MA.

* Gabriel leaves MA - she is confused and sad; she loves Gabriel but thinks he will never understand her.

* Candelaria stops by the night club again to see Elsa. She gets into an argument with the manager. Manager calls security to escort Candy from the club. Elsa stops dancing when she sees the argument. Manager orders her back to work - she refuses. Security takes Candy out of the club. Elsa approaches manager and argues about his treatment of her mother. He orders her to return to work - as she walks back, a customer starts to flirt with her. She is uncomfortable, but the manager smiles.

* Leo talks with his medical school instructor, who gives him some good news.

* Gabriel tells Pau that he loves MA and that she loves him - however it is impossible for them to be together because MA and Jossie are sisters.

* MA looks at her parents' photos on her home prayer shelf. She remembers what Cecilia told her about the mystery nurse; then she remembers all the altercations and threats Jossie made to her face in the hospital. MA suspects Jossie.

* As Gabriel, Jossie, and everyone gather in the living room at the palace, Mayeya answers the door and lets MA and David inside. Jossie is shocked - MA announces that she and David are moving into the palace. Gabriel welcomes her to the palace. Luisito is excited for her and David to be moving in. Gabriel takes the boys to the other room - MA and Jossie have a talk; MA gives her a warning - try anything to provoke me, and I will defend myself. MA leaves Jossie alone - Jossie does her cheshire cat grin.

* Demian, Regina and Tiberio eat in their dining room. Demian tells Regina that he was very upset and annoyed because she was late returning home.

* JC tells Pau that MA and David are moving into the palace.

* MA sits with her mom's photo in her room. She thinks of a prayer for strength against Jossie.

* Jossie vents her anger and outrage over MA to Miriam in her room.

* Gabriel stops MA in the hallway. He thanks her for deciding to move into the palace, and gives her some advice. She excuses herself to go visit Pau.

* Padre Domingo stops by to see Candy at her apartment. Candy confides in him her frustrations with Elsa and MA. He's surprised.

* MA talks with Pau about her moving to the palace. Pau informs her that Gabriel also is living there. MA is surprised. Pau asks her about her love for Gabriel. MA tells her the truth.

* JC and Karen bump into each other in the living room. JC wants to leave; Karen convinces him to have breakfast with her, and clear up all the misunderstandings between them. He pauses to think for a minute, then agrees. They walk to the dining room together.

* Candy sits in her chair, depressed. Leo laughs and shouts outside; when he enters, he becomes sad and tries to cheer her up and get her to open up. Candy tells him it is about Elsa and her job. Leo shares the sentiment, and is disgusted also. He tries to change the subject to food and MA. Candy tells him the news that MA has moved to the palace - Leo is shell-shocked and mortified with the thoughts and worries of what may happen to her there. Leo walks to the other room depressed.

* MA sits with Luisito and David in the front patio, talking and laughing.

* Dolores takes care of Pau in bed. Pau thanks her for caring and helping her. Pau asks where Karen is. Dolores says with JC having breakfast. Pau is intrigued.

* Karen and JC sit down at the table - Mayeya serves the food trays - as Mayeya leaves, she becomes very disgusted with the sight of Karen's advances towards JC. When Mayeya enters the kitchen, she vents her disgust to Shorty, who gets her to laugh and change her mood.

* Padre Domingo stops Elsa in the parking lot. Elsa isn't interested in his advice. The manager pulls up on his Harley motorcycle and tells Elsa that the customer is interested in having her do private dancing. Elsa isn't interested in the proposed idea, but the manager thinks differently. Padre Domingo interjects his critical opinions about the subject. Manager gets off his motorcycle and starts an argument with Padre. Padre orders Elsa to go home immediately - she does.

* Gabriel receives a phone call from Federico in prison. He wants to see Gabriel in person, to tell him something very important about Jossie. Gabriel wants to know over the phone, but Federico is adamant in telling him in person. Gabriel agrees and hangs up. Demian enters the palace just then. Demian uses the excuse of visiting Pau and JC for being there. Gabriel informs him about his meeting with Federico in prision.

* Karen meets with Rogelio in the office. Nicolas enters and hands Rogelio the divorce papers from Di.

* Demian goes to visit Pau and JC in her bedroom.

* Sylvester is checking under the hood of his taxi, as Leo wanders along the curb depressed and thinking he's lost MA forever now.

* MA is very happy and has her pocket watch in her hand.

* Jossie talks with Gabriel in the palace office. Jossie is very upset with MA's presence in the palace. Gabriel gives his opinions on the subject - then he shocks her with the news that he loves MA with all his heart.

* MA is at church praying for guidance and help.

* Jossie is shocked and asks for why? how? Gabriel proceeds to explain all the good qualities that MA possesses that he loves (and he has never seen in Jossie). Jossie keeps her dignity together as tears well-up in her eyes. He leaves. Jossie erupts - she screams, knocks the stuff off the desk and vows to get revenge.

EPISODE 12 (Dec. 26, 2006):
Pancho and Padre walk over to Rigoberto in the hallway. Rigoberto tells them Angelita and Rodo left. Pancho and Padre discuss what happened and the disappearance of Alberto and Mauricio.

In the hotel room, Angelita tries to use her powers to extract information from Alberto and Mauricio, seated and silent on the bed. It doesn't work. Rodo has apprehension about what they are doing. A spark of fire pops in the room by the door. Angelita and Rodo leave as they hear footsteps outside. Ludovico enters the room, picks up the firecrackers and tosses them on the table - he says the boss is very angry with the errors made - Alberto regains consciousness and starts to plead and explain - Ludovico shakes him and holds him on the bed as Alberto continues his explanation. Ludovico says it isn't good enough.

Casimiro and Padre talk in the kitchen. Padre asks Casimiro what he knows about Alberto and Mauricio, the strange things that have occurred in the house, as well as Angelita and Rodo. Casimiro tells what he does know. Nati enters and interrupts; after she leaves, Casimiro and Padre continue their discussion.

In the dining room, Matilde proposes a toast. Pa (Carmelo) and Ma are frustrated with the lack of compassion for their daughter's disappearance and start to walk out. Matilde stops them and tells them to sit down. She starts to scold them for their actions and the harm they had caused her, Alfonso, Alejandra and Rigoberto; they have abused her confidence. Ma and Pa have their reasons and explanations. Matilde doesn't believe it; but she says that she is prepared to rectify the problems at once. She kicks them out of the house and business for good.

Sebastian paces in his office. Pancho stops by and they discuss the problems that are developing with Alberto and Mauricio's abrupt departure. Pancho tells of his own problems with the hotel bill they left him with that he has no way of paying. Pancho has an idea that may solve both their problems. Sebastian is intrigued. In the midst of the discussion, Sebastian wishes Pancho the best with Alejandra.

Matilde and Nati are in the living room talking about their recent good fortune. Nati tells her that Rigoberto is out with the horses. As Nati is about to leave, Alejandra enters and interrupts the conversation. Alejandra says that she is feeling awkward at the house - Matilde says that she is always welcome, it is her home also. Alejandra is still feeling sad and reluctant; Matilde wonders if the reason is Pancho, and tells her that he is welcome to come and live there also. They hug.

Padre prays in his office. Casimiro stops by and interrupts. Casimiro updates Padre about the children and the restaurant. They set up the chessboard and start talking. Casimiro asks about Alejandra; Padre says that she doesn't need his help any longer. Casimiro is confused and Padre explains further about 'angel intervention'. They discuss recent encounters with angels in town. Padre tells him about Pancho.

Angelita and Rodo arrive at the "Angels Inc." offices. Everyone welcomes them back. Jacinto and Rosita are the first ones to welcome them and brief them about office activity. Angelita and Rodo enter Angelita's office to talk in private - Rodo wonders if they should keep what they've discovered a secret from the others. Angelita thinks that would be best. Rodo answers the phone - Padre Miguel is calling Angelita to tell her about Mauricio and Alberto's disappearance.

Pancho and Alejandra talk on the stairs - Alejandra tells him about the invitation for him to move into the house with them. He is smiling and laughing with her. Rigoberto runs over to them to tell about his afternoon outside. Matilde follows him over. They discuss the invitation to move into the house. Sebastian enters and interrupts - he is depressed and feeling guilty for all the problems that are occurring and wishes to resign from his position. Matilde is surprised and convinces him not to resign. Pancho explains Sebastian's position is due to all the promises Alberto and Mauricio made in town that have been broken. Sebastian feels bad. Matilde comes up with a solution - she will invest her own money in the factory and Pancho can help.

Rosita meets with Angelita in her office to update her on all the events that have been occurring at the company in her absence.

Mauricio is pacing back and forth and is very impatient and angry as he and Alberto wait in the front hall to meet with the "boss". Alberto tells Mauricio to calm down and be very polite and respectful when they go in for the meeting. Mauricio can't do that. Ludovico comes out and tells them they have been granted one more chance. When Mauricio makes his self-serving remark; it angers Ludovico and an invisible force chokes Mauricio and he falls to his knees by the table. Mauricio agrees to the offer. Ludovico leaves the room.

Pancho, Rigoberto and Padre are at the restaurant saying good-bye to Casimiro, who is packed and ready to leave on vacation. Pancho and Rigoberto leave. As Padre and Casimiro talk, a mystery bearded hobo (Luis Curtorier - sp?) enters the restaurant and asks Padre for help. Casimiro leaves.

Newspaper reporter Cucis Savala (Marlena Favela) is talking to her tape recorder in the waiting area of "Angels Inc." She takes a photo of Jacinto sweeping the floors by the computer stations, and then starts talking into her tape recorder again. Rosita tells Cucis that Angelita will see her soon.

Rodo and Gabriel are entertaining the kids with adventure stories at the center. Angelita interrupts the story time to tell Rodo he needs to return to work. Rodo tells the kids he and Gabriel will return later to finish the stories. Rodo asks Angelita if she's received any news. She says yes, lots.

Cucis Savala is on the phone with her boss - she is so excited to have a one-on-one interview with Rodo. After she hangs up, she enters the office with Angelita and Rodo. She acts very enchanted about meeting the handsome Rodo and to be interviewing him. As she starts to ask him questions, and then requests a photo, Angelita excuses herself from the office.

Cucis continues to interview Rodo as they tour the center, and Rodo explains the center's purpose - for the whole family not just the children and seniors. Cucis requests to take a photo of Rodo with the children.

Teresa and Blanca and the nurse assistant meet with Angelita in her office. Teresa wants to commit Blanca to the senior living center; Blanca thinks Teresa is a viper who only wants access to her money, and doesn't want to live there. Angelita listens to both sides. When Teresa agrees to the financing plan for Blanca's stay at the center, Angelita agrees to allow Blanca to live there. Angelita tells Teresa that one requirement is for the family members to visit regularly during the first two weeks. Teresa is surprised but agrees. Angelita tells her see you tomorrow for the first visit. After Teresa and the nurse have left, Angelita assures Blanca.

Pancho, Alejandra and Rigoberto meet with Padre in his office. They tell him the good news of their engagement. Alejandra wonders about Casimiro - she wanted to ask him to be 'padrino' for the wedding. Padre says maybe he can when he returns from vacation.

Casimiro talks with Jacinto at the waiting area of "Angels Inc." about his vacation at the center. Jacinto offers his opinions and advice to calm Casimiro's worries. When Angelita is free, Casimiro asks about kitchen work available at the center; he also mentions his reference of Padre Miguel. She knows all about it - Padre had called her already. They enter the office to talk.

Alberto and Mauricio are whining and tied up under the big desk in the "boss's" office. Ludivico welcomes "boss" into the office from the french doors. "Boss" and Ludivico discuss his new plan to foil all the angels' efforts for Christmas as well as kill one in particular. Alberto continues to plead for another chance but "boss" doesn't listen or care.

Since Sylvia is in Hawaii (grrrr jealous) you get an encore performance from me. At the end of Friday's show Juan and Miranda find out that the blood from the two shootings are from different people. The curtain rises -


Fabricio and Julio are sitting on the front steps of the San Llorente house. Does anyone else think it’s strange how they all continue to hang out here even though the house is empty? It’s creepy. Julio says he’ll be there for Fabricio, whatever he needs. Fab says if not for his kid, he’d run far away. Julio says they need to bring Bertha down, Mophead is also very concerned about Bertha and Cesar getting busy. Fab wasn’t aware of this, he tells Julio about Cesar taking money and jewels for his ransom, and here Cesar is with Bertha the whole time. Julio makes a face like he’s having a heart attack, he says fathers close their eyes to what their kids are really like, he suddenly realized what kind of person Cesar really is. They both start to realize just how depraved Bertha and Sleazer are. Julio feels guilty for helping Cesar bring down Gonzalo, even though he didn’t intend to do that. They share a manly hug and Julio leaves.

Fern has the baby again, talking to Renata. Fern is glad that Renata is giving Juan another chance. Juan and Miranda come in with the news that the two blood spots were from different persons. Juan asks who could have attacked her at the hacienda, she says besides El Guapo, she has no idea. She rehashes that night and says that whoever it was didn’t know she had a gun and she surprised him. Juan has a memory of fighting with Cesar over Renata and seeing blood on Cesar’s shirt as he walked away. He tells the women what happened, he only hit Sleazer on the front but he had blood on his back. Juan calls the hospital to see if they could verify that the blood matches Sleazer.

Nuria plays with her rosary and prays/cries. I believe the contract to cry on a daily basis has expired with Miranda so they signed up Nuria. She cries more than anybody on TV, ever. She begs Flor for forgiveness. LA comes back in, he might be regretting running off with her about now. “dang she’s hot and all, but cripes what a head case. What did I get myself into?” As I predicted before, Nuria wants to go back to Mexico to talk to Santiago. I knew something stupid would bring them back to be discovered. LA tells her no way, Jose. Nuria says fine, whatever, like a kid who doesn’t like what she was just told. LA caves in and says he’ll try to find a way to talk to Santiago. Don’t do it! They’ll go back, someone will find them, they’ll get killed or something. I knew it would happen but I’m annoyed anyway.

Back at the hacienda, which still has all of its furnishings, Nati and Mrs. Gabino are lighting a bunch of candles. They are trying to light the way for Gonzalo’s return or something like that. Nati is wrapped up in a white robe like she’s about to go ride a camel through the desert.

Carola comes in to talk to Amparito, who fills her in on Fern’s pain. Carola says she wants to go see her, Amparito says she shouldn’t go in order to avoid Renata. She then has to break the news that Juan and Renata have gotten back together. Carola cries. Miranda is really getting some help with the crying requirement. Amparito says Juan is coming the next day to get his stuff and is going to go live with Renata.

Mrs. Gabino hears a loud noise and Gabino runs in to see what’s going on. Mrs. Fills him in. Nati comes in to say Flor has gone to the light. Then she turns around and says “come Patron, come!” The Gabinos are freaking out and the candles all flicker a lot. The ghost of Gonz is in the room, apparently.

Juan says they’ll call him back later with the blood test results. Miranda announces that she is going to the hacienda. Renata says that Juan is bringing Amparito’s sewing machine so she can make clothes, they’ll stay in the house with Fab and Charo. Fab comes in and says he’s going to go to SLI the next day to work on the oil project, or whatever it is. We’d all get fired for missing this much work so far.

Nati continues to light candles and freak out the Gabinos. Nati says that she knows Miranda is coming the next day. The birds told her. She asks them to help blow out the candles, they are very happy to do that and end the spooky ceremony. Nati, I think, needs to go check on her camel.

Babe Lawyer tells Vicente that she needs Charo to testify. The subject changes to Miranda and Vicente says it’s her fault, not her friend’s, for letting that happen. They talk about the case and think that they can get Al declared innocent. Vicente then drops the bomb that the two blood samples are from different people. Babe Lawyer is pissed that the information leaked, this is an investigation dammit, that was confidential information. She won’t say it but she is jealous that Miranda has that information, thinking that it should be privileged between her and Al. Get a grip woman, what are you, twelve?

Juan goes home to get the sewing machine and Carola is waiting for him. She starts to say something about loving him in silence but Raul and Slutty come in and interrupt.

Bertha and Santiago are out having a drink, Guapo is there too. Guapo asks Santiago if today is a good day to die. They say they have the biggest surprise of his life for him.

Juan says he’s going to get money from the ATM, because when you use an ATM the national banks give money to charity! It’s a public service message. They read details of this program off of a card and pretend like they care.

Santiago says the law is going to get Guapo and Bertha. They laugh. This same exchange happens about ten times in slightly different forms. You’ll get caught, don’t be stupid. The law will get you, ha ha ha. Bertha tells Santiago that the bar they are in is full of cameras, so tell Al that if he stays against them they’ll show the pictures of Santiago there with them and tell all about his bank accounts.

Al meets with Vicente and Roman. Al asks for Babe Lawyer immediately, she’ll be along later he is told. Roman explains that he was Gonzalo’s investigator but when Gonz was in jail, he did some work with Cesar. To the point Senor Luque, do you know the circumstances of your sister Lasagna’s death? Al stands there impactado, then turns around to see Santiago rush in doing his best Julio impression, hand over his heard like he’s going to have an attack. Al rehashes how Lasagna was found. Roman says LA and Nuria know the real story. He also explains that they are hidden far away. Al says he needs to talk to them. Vicente says they can’t come back, they are in the same situation as Charo and need to stay safe. He says he doesn’t know where they are, they only talk by cell phone. Now Santiago is holding his left arm, he’ll collapse any minute. Roman says he’ll tell Al the next time he talks to them so they can get in touch. After Roman leaves, Al spits that Roman knows perfectly well where those two are and wouldn’t say! Santiago raises his arm to say something, it reminds me of the guy on the corpse cart in Monty Python’s Life of Brian who keeps saying “I’m not dead yet.” He starts to say something, then keels over.

Amparito comes in and talks to the virgin on the wall, then Sanson walks in behind her. He says he’s not going to do anything. He’s looking for Juan, who proceeds to walk in with Carola and Slutty. Sanson says he was looking for Carola too, and grabs her. Juan punches him in the face and knocks him down, giving him a bloody lip. Sanson jumps up and pulls a gun on Juan. Everybody yells. He yells at Carola, “you still love this guy, right?” Carola says she will love Juan forever. Techinically she yelled it, everyone is still yelling.

Renata is holding the baby and her phone rings. It’s Fern, Renata fills her in on where everyone is and where they went. She talks about her great clothing designs she’s going to make. She sits down and has a green memory of a conversation with Bertha. She was telling Bertha about how Fern insisted on examining any medication brought for Flor. Back in the present she starts talking to herself, she is starting to realize how Bertha messed with Flor’s medications.

Slutty yells at Sanson, she ends up moving between Juan and the gun. She insults Sanson, calling muy macho when he has a gun, huh? Sanson finally puts the gun down, then hits Slutty with it. Now she’s bleeding. He kisses her on the mouth, remember they are both bleeding, she eagerly kisses him back, she even bites him to get him to bleed some more. He throws her away and curses at her for doing that. Everyone else knows what is going on of course and they stare at him in shock. “what are you looking at me like that for?” Sanson issues some threat about killing her, she says she’s going to die anyway, she has AIDS! Sanson freaks out, saying it isn’t true. He leaves, swearing that he’ll take everyone with him when he goes! Everyone moves to comfort Slutty, she says to get away since she’s bleeding. Juan thanks her for saving him and calms her down.

Renata calls Gabino at the hacienda. She asks him to go to her room there and get a bag with medicine in it and to give it to Miranda as soon as he sees her, then tell Miranda to call her right away. Gabino and his Mrs. talk about how spooky it is that Nati actually knew that Miranda was going to be there that day. They think that Nati knows when they will die, Mrs. wants to ask her, Gabino says don’t be crazy!

Juan and Slutty arrive with the sewing machine, Renata is in shock at Slutty’s face. Slutty and Juan explain what happened. Juan leaves to go to the hospital, he thanks Slutty again for saving his life. Slutty swears to Renata that she never intended to infect anyone but the situation got out of control and it happened. Renata thanks her also for saving Juan. Slutty says she has many things to ask forgiveness for, Renata says whatever it is you’re forgiven, we’re friends! Slutty says no, then confesses to being in cahoots with Bertha for a while because she wanted to hurt Renata. Renata is impactada.

Santiago is awake and drinking some water. Vicente says he has to go, Al says that starting right away, they have to figure out how to get his fortune back. Vicente says he has the passwords and whatever for the accounts in London. Al can’t leave the country, but Vicente will go right away. He leaves. Al says to Santiago that he knows him, his bad feelings aren’t health related, what’s going on? Santiago says he’s quitting the church. Fab walks in at the same time and is impactado.

Slutty tells about how she set her up to get busted stealing jewelry way back when. Renata is angry now, Slutty is begging forgiveness but now Renata is mad. She realizes for sure now how Bertha had her hoodwinked but was really evil all along. They hear gunshots and the baby starts crying. They say the gunshots were from downstairs, Renata grabs the baby and says to go to Gonz’s room. In the hall they hear another gunshot and start really freaking out and run down the hall.

Wow, a really good cliffhanger for once! Unfortunately the preview for tomorrow’s show tells us that El Guapo and Bertha killed Charo, Babe Lawyer announces to somebody else and then later to Al himself that she is in love with him. I’m guessing that since we are in Ultimos Capitulos they are holding nothing back in the previews to get people to watch the ending.

The plot thickens, as we return to Acapulco Vice…

“You’re interested in her!

Aldo sexily half smiles back at Carolina and giggles. Caro catches on that she spoke with reason and Aldo really did invite her so she would bring Lety. Aldo confirms to Carolina that Lety really made an impression on him. Carolina marvels that her Lety, who is convinced that she is the ugliest woman in the universe, has made a man like Aldo fall in love with her. Aldo corrects Caro and says that Lety made an impression, but that’s not to say that he is in love. There’s just something very attractive about her. Carolina replies that he makes sense, Lety is a charmer. Aldo replies that he thinks any human being with just a little sense would be fascinated to know a person so innocent, who has been so hurt by life. Caro confirms that Lety is both fragile and innocent. Caro says what surprises her is that during all the time they’ve known each other, she’s never known him to be so taken by anyone. She admits that they’ve only known each other about a year and a half, but Aldo has been a loner that whole time.

Marcia enters Fernando’s office and wants to know if Lety is showing up tomorrow for the meeting.. He tells Marcia that Lety is not in Mexico City. Marcia gets really upset. She asks Fernando how he can be so tranquil even though Lety will not appear. Fernando replies that he is not calm; a representative will appear tomorrow. Marcia wants to know why a representative of the company will be coming. Fernando says he has no idea. Marcia changes the subject and asks Fernando what happened between him and Lety. Did her hurt her so much that she decided to flee? Fernando tries to change the subject back to the company and says that Lety left the letter thinking that this would be sufficient to return the company, and then she left on a trip. Marcia says she hopes that Lety didn’t leave thinking she could get back at Fernando via the company. Fernando says that Lety is not capable of something like that. Marcia comments that it’s interesting how Fernando has so much confidence in that woman even though she betrayed him. She says she understands why Lety fell in love with Fernando, but asks what happened with him. Marcia asks Fernando if he fell in love with Lety. Fernando replies that he does not want to talk about that with Marcia. Marcia flips out. She waited three years; she almost married him; the least he can do is give her an explanation. She demands to know if Fernando fell in love with Lety and if he is still in love with Lety. Fernando doesn’t reply. Marcia asks him if she should interpret his silence as an affirmative answer. Fernando half nods and stares at his desk. Marcia sinks in a chair and quietly asks the question again out of disbelief. Fernando replies with a simple “Yes, Marcia.”

Back on the yacht Caro asks Lety how she feels. Lety responds that she feels better. Aldo brings out some yummy looking food. It’s lobster. Aldo asks Lety what she thinks the lobsters would say if they could speak. Caro feels left out of the joke. Lety explains the story about Aldo looking for her glasses and coming back with some lobsters. Aldo says these are the same lobsters prepared to accentuate their exquisite flavor. Caro has the two confirm that this from when Aldo saved Lety from the wave. They confirm and Aldo says that these lobsters had their history. They were witnesses of an important moment. Lety takes a bite of the food. She mmmm’s and tells Aldo that the food is really delicious. Aldo replies that he used a special recipe that one day he may reveal to Lety. Lety says that Aldo cooks as well as her mother; the only difference is that Aldo’s food is from the ocean and her mother’s is not because in Puebla there is no sea. Aldo grabs Lety’s hand and asks if this means that Lety feels much better. Lety confirms and peeks at their hands.

Marcia cannot believe that Fernando has the nerve to accept his own love for a woman like Lety. She says that she doesn’t know how, but Fernando will pay in hell. She raises her hand but no teacher is there to call on her (not that any would care to). Fernando softly says her name. She turns and then storms out the office. Fernando says to himself that he understands that he must pay, that he is paying right now.

Aldo teaches Lety how to test wine. She holds it in her mouth. He laughs and tells her to swallow. She tells him that it is very good. He pours her a full glass for a toast. He tells Caro and Lety that he’s been privileged by sharing this dinner with two beautiful ladies. Lety says there is only one beauty. Aldo responds that he sees two. Aldo says that he understands because Lety can only see Caro and not herself. He makes a toast to the gift of life, to the ocean and to the moon. Lety also toasts because she feels that this night she will be able to enjoy life. Aldo corrects her when she calls him Don Aldo. Carolina says that the pain they have is not important. What is important is the capacity to begin anew. Aldo agrees. He says that they should toast to the beginning to a great friendship. Cue Humphrey Bogart!

Lety finishes off another glass of wine and drunkenly proclaims that she is very, very happy. She’s happy to enjoy the bay, the dinner, the morning, the night, the stars and the company of course! Caro tells Lety that with Aldo, there will be surprise after surprise. Lety praises Aldo for being terrific. Lety has Aldo pour her another glass of wine. She goes on about all of Aldo’s good qualities, like knowing how to swim so well. She saddens a little and says that he has a freedom that she will never achieve. She has pain that she won’t be able to rise above. “Because he lied to me.” she cries out.

Irmita talks to the cuartel about how her daughter Rebeca cried when she found out about her father. Sara asks if the Rebeca will come to the house. Irmita replies that she’s coming tomorrow. At this painful situation with Rafael will allow her to get to know her granddaughter who is eleven years old. Martha says that Irmita will have to be content with this. Irmita wisely replies that shared pain weighs less. Juana asks if Irmita’s son will be coming as well. Irmita tells Juana that her son, Jorge, did not want to hear anything about his father. Luigi tells Irmita that he must talk to her son because this is not about the dying father, but about the mother who needs her son with her. Luigi’s phone rings. Saimon answers. He tells Irmita that it’s her neighbor and that Rafael is really bad and she should return quickly to her house. Irmita prays to the virgin for strength. PM replies that Irmita’s friends will give her strength. Luigi suggests they hurry to Irmita’s home.

Lety tells Caro and Aldo to promise that they will never lie to her. They both promise. Aldo says that he quit lying to himself and because of this he could never lie to anyone else. Lety doesn’t want to think about lying to herself, because she’s very happy. She thanks Carolina again for bringing her to Acapulco. Caro says there’s no reason to thank her. Lety asks for more wine. Aldo says they can change the wine and walks back into the cabin. Lety and Caro joke about the “wine of happiness.”

Tomas prepares for his meeting tomorrow. He explains to Julieta that he’s going to take all of the papers and the archives. Erasmo comes down to complain about the flip flops Julieta gave him. They only lasted three years! He demands to know why Tomas is in his house. He also asks what are the papers that Tomas holds.

Lety asks Caro how she can say that she and Lety have anything in common. Caro that all three of them are very much loners. Lety says that’s not possible that Caro nor Aldo are loners. Caro says that Aldo is almost like a hermit. Aldo says that he does prefer the company of the ocean. Caro says that for that reason they are all in the club of loners. Lety says that not only is she in the club of the loners, but also in the club of ugly women. Lety says that Caro is very social in any environment, like a fish in water. Aldo says that Lety has reason, he could not consider Carolina a loner. Caro tells them that she comes home alone everyday wishing for children. Aldo says that Caro can have a child whenever she wants. She replies that she has not been able to produce a child. Her work is an obsession for her. It’s destroyed three marriages.

The cuartel enter Irmita’s house. Irmita asks them to stay in the living room and then she makes a beeline for her bedroom. The cuartel talk about how they feel bad for Irmita and the fact that her son does not want to come and see his father. Lola talks about men and how they lack sensibility. Saimon protests and turns to Luigi for support. Luigi doesn’t answer but PM confirms that her man has a lot of sensibility. The cuartel shush each other. Juana says that Irmita’s son carries resentment because his father abandoned him. Luigi says that no matter what the son should be there, with his mother who is suffering so much. Sara absolutely agrees. Luigi grabs Irmita’s purse and leaves the room. Martha says that her intestines are groaning and making noise, insinuating that she’s hungry. Sara shushes her.

Aldo cannot believe that Caro married three times. Caro says that they were all very short marriages, because of work. Lety says that Aldo speaks with reason because Caro could become a mother whenever she wants. Caro replies that she lacks a significant other. Lety drunkenly laughs. Caro stares off into the sky and takes a sip of wine. Lety tells Caro that she’s very special, intelligent, beautiful and above all, a good person. Caro thanks Lety and says that at times she still feels empty, like she lacks that which is most important in life. Lety agrees that Caro lacks a boyfriend and a family, but she has a friend! Lety turns to Aldo and asks him if he has children. “Yes, I have two,” he replies.

Julieta tells Erasmo that Tomas is preparing some papers for his meeting tomorrow. Erasmo doesn’t understand because he thought that Lety took care of this before she left Conceptos. Tomas explains that Lety just forgot to take some papers and that he’s going to take them tomorrow. Erasmo asks if these papers are the reason that Fernando is so desperately looking for Lety. Tomas calls Erasmo brilliant, a brilliant brute. Erasmo asks the “parasite” what it is that he’s saying. Tomas tries to calm Erasmo. Tomas says he will take care of everything while Lety is gone. He says that Erasmo should put on his flip flops. Erasmo spits out some insults at Tomas. Tomas leaves. Erasmo goes on how the youth don’t have any respect or morals.

Lety whispers to Carolina that she didn’t know that Aldo had two children. When Aldo approaches the table, Caro asks him to explain to her about his children. Aldo says that one of his children is his book, “The Flavor of Life.” This book has a special story with old recipes from different parts of the world. It tries to unite all the elements of nature. Aldo says that he wants everyone to know that the best ingredient in all dishes is love. (Excuse me, my gag reflex just flared…Okay, I’m back.) Lety asks about his other child. He says that his other child is a chain of restaurants based off of “The Flavor of Life.” Lety says she wants to read Aldo a thought about love for his book. She searches her bag. She pulls a few things out of her purse, one of which is the photo of Fernando. Aldo immediately guesses who is in the photo. Lety asks for it back and says that she does not feel good. She asks to return to the hotel.

Back at Conceptos Fernando stares at the same picture. He asks the photo how long he will be like this.

Irmita wants to take Rafael to the hospital. He says he doesn’t want her to spend her money for a hopeless cause. She replies that she’ll bring a doctor to the house. Rafael does not want this either. She cannot believe he’s still so stubborn. Irmita wants to know why he did not tell her how sick he was. He replies that he wanted her forgiveness, not her compassion. He mutters that he regrets abandoning his children. Irmita says she’ll make a chicken soup for Rafael. It will help recuperate some strength; she has a surprise for him. She thinks to herself that their daughter, Rebeca, will be coming to see him.

Luigi calls Jorge from his cell phone. Luigi says he’s calling to plead with him to come to Mexico City. He tells Jorge not to interrupt and not to be rude. Luigi says he’s going to intrude as he wants, because Irmita is like family to him. Luigi tells Jorge not to come for Rafael, but for his mother. She needs him a lot right now. Jorge hangs up on Luigi. Irmita enters and asks Luigi what he’s doing with her purse and diary.

Caro, Aldo and Lety pull up to the hotel in Acapulco. Aldo helps Lety out of the car. She thanks him, apologizes and shakes his hand. Caro says that it still hurts Lety, all that happened. Aldo says he understands that type of suffering. Caro asks Aldo if he wants her to take him home. He replies that he has a vehicle. Aldo pulls out a bike. He talks about all the advantages of a bike. Caro thanks him for the dinner and everything else. They say goodbye. Aldo rides away toward the beach.

Luigi says that he found the diary in her purse and that he immediately needed Ricky Armstrong’s number and he didn’t want to bother Irmita. Irmita knowingly looks at Luigi who quickly asks how Rafael is doing.

Caro chases Lety. Caro says she needs to talk with Lety. Lety tells Caro that she wants to rest. Caro replies that she cannot leave Lety in this state. Lety says that she’s fine and that Caro shouldn’t worry about her. Caro replies that she can see that Lety is not okay. Lety says she cannot continue. Caro asks if Lety would like to talk before resigning. Caro takes Lety to the bar so they can talk. In the bar, Lety asks for a water and Caro asks for a double tequila. Caro asks Lety about what happened. Lety says she was very good and very happy, and then that photo appeared. That photo brought her back to reality and the pain that Lety is feeling. It’s like a sword in her heart that hurts and there is no way to recuperate. Caro says that she knows part of the story, but she needs to know all of it in order to help Lety. Lety agrees to tell Caro the whole story.

Irmita thanks the cuartel and Luigi for being with her. She asks them to go home, because it’s late and everyone has to work tomorrow. Luigi insists on staying. Irmita wants him to leave because he did not rest at all the night before. He negates and says he’s staying until the end. Juana says she’s staying as well. Luigi doesn’t want her to stay. Sara says she’s staying to. Saimon says he’ll take PM home on his moto. Luigi walks everyone out, because he wants to make sure that they really leave.

Caro says she never imagined all that happened. Lety says that now she’s told everything to Caro she feels a little more tranquil. Caro says that this does not exempt Lety from fault. Lety says she knows. Caro asks Lety if she understands that she did something wrong. Lety effusively confirms. Caro replies that only when one accepts her errors, can she better herself. She asks Lety to give Acapulco another opportunity. Caro says she’s sure that Lety can move on. She reminds Lety about the laughter back on the yacht. Lety says that was all a dream, she woke up the same ugly woman as always.

Fernando wanders around his office, remembering Lety’s laughter. Meanwhile, Aldo sits outside his house and remembers the same laughter.

In real life Lety is not laughing. She says that she continues in her clothes as the same person as always. Caro thinks that Lety wants to destroy herself. Caro says that she cannot believe that such a responsible, valorous woman could be so weak in her personal life. She tells Lety that she must accept that her life is changing. Lety must give this change a chance. Caro says that Lety is really a marvelous woman. “Marvelous, me?” Lety asks. She tells Caro not to drink any more tequila. Caro asks Lety to give her one more chance. Caro says she has a surprise for Lety that she will like. Caro asks Lety where her insecurity is. Lety replies that it’s everywhere. Caro says that, no, it’s inside Lety’s imagination. Lety says she sees it every time she looks in a mirror. Caro says that mirrors lie. They’re going to make the mirror reflect Lety’s true image – the beautiful woman inside. Lety cries, thanks Caro and they toast (with water).

Lety draws with her feet in the sand. Cue the kazoos! Lety sees miss Puebla running along the beach and imagines that it’s her (Lety). Miss Puebla waives and passes Lety. From the opposite direction, Aldo approaches and greets Lety. He asks Lety to go running with him. Lety says she’s never exercised in her life. Aldo asks if Lety has ever heard the phrase “healthy body, healthy mind.” Lety says she’s developed her mind, but not her body for obvious reasons. Aldo says that Lety needs to be more optimistic and happy. Lety asks if exercise can cure the soul’s pain. Aldo assures her that if she has a healthy soul, it will be reflected in her body. Lety laughs and says if the body reflects the soul she can just imagine what her soul looks like. Aldo tells Lety that everything is relative. Something she might find ugly, he might find very beautiful. Lety runs off to go change and then decides to run in her dress. Aldo follows.

Irmita tells Sara, Juana and Luigi that she’s worried that her daughter won’t arrive in time to see her father because he’s getting worse. Luigi and the girls try to reassure Irmita and tell her to have faith that her daughter will arrive.

Lety and Aldo clumsily run along the beach (more Lety than Aldo). Lety almost keels over from the exercise. Aldo tries to help her breathe. Lety talks about how pretty the ocean is in that spot. She asks him where he brought her. Aldo tells her that this a spot where the salt water meets with freshwater. These two waters kiss in a kiss that last for a lifetime.

Irmita once again asks the girls to leave, because it’s almost time to go to work. Luigi says that the girls don’t need to worry about getting ready. They both kiss Luigi good-bye. Luigi doesn’t like the kisses and says it’s a good thing they’re leaving because their mere presence makes Irmita’s pretty house turn ugly. Sara plays along and says it’s a good thing he makes all things beautiful. Irmita starts to tell Luigi that he should… He finishes her sentence by saying that he should stay with Irmita. He doesn’t want death to come and take Irmita as well.

Lety and Aldo continue to talk about the ocean. He talks about the waves and how they’re all different and yet all are very beautiful. They’re the music of nature. Lety tells Aldo about her tiny cave at Conceptos, where she never saw the sun. Lety tells Aldo that with him she feels in harmony, peace, that all of nature is her. Aldo says it’s great that Lety realized this. They smile at each other.

Is Lety going to be able to leave Don Fernando behind her?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!

EPISODE 11 (end of part 2, transition to part 3):
Matilde is holding Rigoberto - Alejandra runs over and moves Matilde out of the way to get to Rigoberto. Matilde is very concerned but Alejandra doesn't want to hear it. She orders Matilde to leave them alone.

Ma and Pa are at home, still very worried about where Yolanda is; she hasn't appeared at all.

Alberto and Mauricio meet with Padre Miguel and Pancho in the church office. Alberto and Mauricio are very insistent on their project to help the children, as well as their search for Angelita and Rodito. Padre Miguel is skeptical and turns the idea down flat. Alberto pushes to try and convince Padre - Padre still rejects it outright, and gets up and orders them to leave his office.

Alejandra sits with Casimiro and Rigoberto at the restaurant. Casimiro asks Alejandra what is her problem with Matilde, are they related? Alejandra says Matilde means nothing to them (she's bitter and hurt). Casimiro mentions that Matilde has been closed off in her house except for the occasional meal at the restaurant. Rigoberto mentions his father, Alfonso. Alejandra is taken aback with Rigoberto's sentiment. Alejandra opens up and tells Rigoberto that Matilde is his grandmother. They talk and talk.

On a bench in the square, Rodo tells Angelita his idea to get everything back on track - Angelita is skeptical and tells him no tricks. Rodo is adamant his idea will work and tries to convince Angelita to go along with it. Pancho approaches and sits down and talks with Angelita and Rodo. They discuss the search for the children, two in particular (Angelita and Rodito). Angelita asks him for his wish - he says he would wish not for himself but for Rigoberto to be well again. They continue talking; Pancho reveals his thoughts and beliefs about angels. Rodo and Angelita smile.

Matilde stops by the church office and talks with Padre Miguel about meeting Alejandra and his grandson. She's upset by Alejandra's harsh comments towards her.

Sebastian talks with Alberto and Mauricio in his office. They discuss how Padre Miguel turned their project down flat - Alberto threatens that if Padre Miguel doesn't cooperate, they will just take their business to another town.

Rigoberto and Alejandra are at the apartment. Rigoberto leaves. Alejandra pulls out a photo of Alfonso to look at. Matilde stops by to talk with Alejandra. They clear up alot of misunderstandings from the past. Matilde listens to Alejandra, she understands and invites Alejandra and Rigoberto to a special dinner at her home tonight. Alejandra is surprised.

Sebastian talks with Padre Miguel about Alberto and Mauricio's threat. Padre isn't interested in the project. Sebastian tries desperately to convince him but Padre won't budge, he has his reasons. Pancho and Rigoberto arrive in the middle of the discussion. As Padre Miguel tells about how the project will threaten the Day of the Three Wise Men celebration, Rigoberto becomes very upset with the thought that his mother will suffer. Rigoberto runs out of the office.

Matilde talks with Angelita and invites her and Rodo to dinner tonight. Angelita accepts and will bring a special guest with them.

Alone in the office, Pancho and Padre Miguel talk in confidence. Pancho reveals that he likes Alejandra and wants to be there for her to support and love her. Padre offers him work in the restaurant. Pancho is excited by the opportunity, it means he will be closer to Alejandra. As Pancho leaves, Padre Miguel mentions something that surprises Pancho.

Rigoberto returns home and cries to his mom. He doesn't want her to suffer. She hugs and consoles him. She then tells him they will be going to dinner at his grandmother's house.

Angelita and Rodo enter the church office and tell Pancho that he will be joining them for dinner with Matilde, Alejandra and Rigoberto at Matilde's house. Pancho is overjoyed. Then Angelita and Rodo reveal the necklace emulet around Angelita's neck - Pancho is surprised as he realizes who they really are. Angelita and Rodo have Pancho kneel down and pray for his wish and dream.

Sebastian sits down at the table with Alberto and Mauricio - bad news, Padre Miguel won't change his mind on the project. Alberto and Mauricio can't believe it - Alberto comes up with a 'plan b' to get to Angelita and Rodo. Sebastian leaves to try again with Padre Miguel. Alberto and Mauricio are frustrated.

Matilde comes home. Ma corners her in the front hall - she is still worried sick about Yolanda; she hasn't appeared at all.

Sebastian is in the home office with Pa - they discuss their worries about Yolanda's disappearance. Pa has his suspicions.

Mauricio asks Alberto why the hurry, panic about finding Angelita and Rodo. Alberto explains. Mauricio shows his gun. Alberto tells him that won't work against angels. He tells him that their boss won't forgive or forget errors. Mauricio declares he isn't scared, he will take the lead in the operation.

Matilde welcomes Padre Miguel, Angelita, Rodo, and Pancho to her home. As they go to the living room, Alejandra and Rigoberto arrive and Matilde welcomes them.

Nati is in the kitchen preparing the meal - she feels a sudden chill in the air, and gets spooked. Casimiro comes in - Nati tells him of the weird things that have been occurring in the house, possible ghost. Casimiro and Nati talk as they leave the kitchen.

Matilde takes Rigoberto on a tour of the house. When they enter her bedroom, Rigoberto asks about his father. Matilde shows him the pocketwatch that had been his great-grandfather's which has been handed down to his grandfather and his father. Now she is handing it down to him - he thinks it is a gift and shouldn't accept it. She says it is his inheritance; everything she has is his.

Padre Miguel sits with Pa and Sebastian and they start discussing and arguing about Matilde's special guests. Sebastian is shocked that Alejandra and Rigoberto are there. Pa is outraged by it. Padre Miguel defends Matilde's right to invite whomever she wants to dinner at her house. Then he tells them it is almost the new year - do not make him angry.

In the kitchen, Alejandra is checking the food on the stove. Pancho enters. They discuss how his angel search is going - he explains how he encountered them, his beliefs in angels. Alejandra is surprised. As Pancho walks to the doorway, Alejandra asks him about love. Pancho returns and their talk ends up with Pancho proposing marriage; Alejandra accepts. They exchange smiles.

Ma, Pa, Sebastian and Padre Miguel argue. Matilde and Rigoberto enter as the voices become loud. Matilde ushers Rigoberto to find his mother. She stays and confronts Ma and Pa for worrying and panicking about Yolanda's disappearance. At the mention of Mauricio, Mauricio and Alberto enter the room. Mauricio pulls out his gun and aims it at them. Casimiro and Nati enter at that moment and are shocked.

In the kitchen, Pancho and Alejandra tell Rigoberto the good news - they are engaged to be married.

Ma, Pa, Sebastian, Padre Miguel and Matilde sit down silently at the dining table. Alberto walks back and forth expounding on his plan, and how they are foiling it all up. Mauricio still holds the gun and aims it at them. Mati answers one question. Alberto counters it with his own opinion. Padre Miguel stands up and scolds Alberto. A chilly breeze blows into the room and the table shakes.

Angelita and Rodo enter into the kitchen and join Alejandra, Pancho and Rigoberto. Angelita tells them that Rigoberto is now cured. They are happy and hug.

Alberto tells everyone to stay seated as they search the house for the angels. Rigoberto runs in to tell Matilde that he's been cured. Alberto pulls out his "devil's emulet" and says a witch's chant. The room goes dark and everyone freezes in place. Rodo and Angelita move around to Mauricio and Alberto - Rodo blows on the back of their necks and they - POOF! - into thin air. Rigoberto watches and wonders where they went. Angelita explains and takes him to another room.

Rodo finds phantom Yolanda; she is very sorry for what she did, he says she will have plenty of time to think about it - and tells her the punishment.

Rodo turns the lights back on; everyone starts to talk and eat. Rodo joins Angelita and Rigoberto in the front hall - Rodo and Angelita say good-bye. Then in front of Rigoberto, they change into their new images. Rodo (now played by Jan) and Angelita (now played by Macaria). Rodo holding Gabriel the bear give Rigoberto a special message.
