Corazon Salvaje team, phone home. Also - who is our STuD team?

Univision's loco scheduling has everything confused!!

Now that Soy tu duena (which I gather already has the nickname STuD) is about to start, I know some of you Salvaje team want to switch back to the 9 pm hour. Proposals have been made to me, and anything is fine, really, that you want to do.

A new volunteer for Salvaje: Sarah Runs-at-Dawn.
Jeri is, I gather, a new recruit for Salvaje as well.
Jody, Gloria, and Kris are on Salvaje but some want to switch to STuD?
Carlos offered to do a shift of Salvaje, is that offer still open?

For STuD:
Jody: Monday
Keri/Jardinera: Friday

Kat, Cheryl, Connie - what's your preference?

Caray, caray!

Thanks all. Help me get this straight ok?

Thankyou, Melinama! I'll also help out till things are finalized with CS2009 one way or another. It's getting too good for fans to do without something, that's for sure. Thanks to Jeri and to Carlos! I will swear off apples to keep our resident doc giving us his prognoses..... Jeri, you're great for offering and my hat is off to you also, amiga mia!!

I'm still on for CS. Ivy has volunteered to sub for Gloria and Jeri does Wednesdays. I' plan to continue with CS and I'm on for STuD for Thursdays. If you have more people who want to recap for StuD than you have recap positions, I would glady share with someone. We're trying our best to keep CS going.

Melinama, I just want to give my thanks to all of the CS recappers who are continuing to provide their amazing recaps in spite of the ghoulishly late midnight hour.

Jardinera, it really IS getting good and thanks to you and the other recappers, I can piece things together as you explain the conversations that I don't understand.

Connie, you wil be doing STuD too? That's great!

Looking forward to reading Ivy's recaps.

Is it true Carlos is coming on board?? That would be wonderful!

Diana

Melinama,

For the life of me, I don't recall volunteering to recap CS, though I vaguely recall musing about starting to watch it again by recording it and watching it the next morning. I admire everyone on the CS recapping team and I think that it is a fun show, but it would be impossible for me to take over a recapping position on CS in its current time slot. Like Hombre and Sylvia, I had planned to take a little break from recapping this summer. I'm sorry if I misled you, but for now anyway, I'm not quite ready to resume a steady recapping job. I am, however, very flattered that you considered me.

Carlos

Carlos, where's your sense of adventure? **Wink, wink** ;P

Melinama - as Connie said above I have volunteered to cover for Gloria, but I could probably also do another night if it is needed.

Ivy

Do we have an exact date when Soy tu Dueña is going to start?

I'm not watching any Univision telenovelas now. I'm watching the repeats of Amor Real (just as good the second time, maybe better) on Telefutura and El Clon on Telemundo. So I'm missing any announcements of when TNs start.

I'd like to know because I definitely would watch TBLMOE in anything. If he wants to do a cooking show, I'm in. If he wants to do the Mexican version of Antiques Roadshow, ditto.

We are thinking it starts May 31.

Novelera~~~I'm rewatching Amor Real, too. I agree that it gets better each time I watch it. I think that Dona Barbara is following it. I missed the beginning of that show.

I hope this goes through I tried about 10 times to post this morning without success. Been having some trouble like that lately.

Anyway, thanks Jardinera, you are so right; CS is as good as many and better than most telenovelas now, after a slow start.

I will take Wednesdays, if that's ok. I've been doing that three or four weeks.

Let me just mention that some of us are writing recaps from the online episodes rather than stay up all night. It's very easy that way.

Unfortunately Cheryl will not be able to recap the new show.

Hi CS team, I have been talking to Connie about these changes and of course I am thrilled that our beloved Colunga is coming back. I feel i must step down from a regular spot on either STuD or CS at this time with my travel and photo schedule ramping up for the summer. I am also so glad that Jeri has taken on Wednesdays. She brings such talent and insight to the table, con a don y talento por entender y compartir sus talentos. Gracias, muchas gracias.

Connie, thanks so much for the information on Soy tu Dueña.

My pleasure, Cheryl. :-) Enjoy your time this summer.

I have not met, Sarah Runs-at-Dawn (by that name anyway), but thank you for volunteering!

Susanlynn, what followss Amor Real will be Duelo de Pasiones. It starts Monday, 4:00, Telefutura.

It wouldn't be Doña Barbara because that is Telemundo. DB was supposed to start on Telemundo, but instead, Corazon abierto is coming. It's a Colombian show based on Gray's Anatomy. The cast includes Jorge Enrique Arbello (JEA) of Betty la fea.

Paula H - Duelo de Pasiones? The same one we watched in 2007 with Sergio Goyri as Don Loco (Álvaro)? I haven't paid attention, but the recaps may still be on the sidebar. It was pretty lame,. Easy dialogue, though, and a good way to learn Spanish...

Hi,

I’ve noticed there’s a shortage of recapers. My only experience as one was in the telenovel-world forum with EL rostro de Analia once a week. I’m a follower of your blog since the Alborada days before it was called Caray Caray. I always read, but don’t comment much. I’ve never volunteered for the recaps because I work two jobs. I record the episodes and usually catch up on weekends. Plus, sometimes I get bored of all the nonsense and stop watching.
All this rambling and I haven’t gotten anywhere.
Any way…
I won’t volunteer for CS2009 because the only day I might be able to do is Friday and that’s already taken. I’ll volunteer for soy tu duena. I noticed Friday is taken also, but I could do Thursday.
I’ll need a crash course on what needs to be done to post the recaps on the page. Please, bear in mind I’m not a professional recaper as you all are.

Thanks,

Sue

Sue, rest assured most of us would not call ourselves professional recappers. We are all volunteers and this is a labor of love, so thank you a whole bunch for volunteering!

Jeanne (Schoolmarm)

Well, STuD looks pretty darn studly to me, so I'm willing to take a spot or share a spot and so far any day is fine. Do we know when it's starting yet? I just keep seeing "proximamente".

I'm willing to keep doing Salvaje or at the very least to post a "discuss here" every Tuesday. I'm also ok to switch days for Salvaje if it helps out any.

Hm, I don't know if that was a helpful response or not, but I'm sure we'll get it all figured out!

Sue: I think it would be terrific if you recapped! All you really need is a good Spanish/English dictionary to get by. You'll fall into it very quickly, amiga! Here is Melinama/ChapelHill Fidler's email if you'd like to write her a note about recapping.

Can someone who watched ungancho al corazon tell me who arny is? Or the actor who played him. I haven't watched the show in a while and just read the recap. Or can you tell me where I can watch the final episode again?????

Thank you Jardinera. I'll write her a note
