Caray, Caray!

And the story continues . . .

Roberto and Alicia are outside the motel and are being spied on by the Vidal's (the young couple in the car). Roberto is happy that Alicia is changing: she is not letting Chuchette and Néstor boss her around. Well, it was Roberto who told her to learn to eat or be eaten. She asks how Gumaro is doing and Roberto says his illness is advancing little by little but he does not want to talk about it. They get into the car so Lichita can tell him where to park it. The Vidal's are wondering where they are going. Ángel Vidal says it looks like they are not going in and she looks like a decent girl. Marta Vidal says a decent girl would never be at a place like this. She makes Ángel follow them in their car.

Inside the "meeting room" in the "No tell motel" there is a stripper pole to go along with the red furniture. They all start brainstorming so that they can come up with a proposal that is worth a "10". Braulio wants to go retro, vintage, in black and white; Brisa has some graphics already done; but Luciana and her bad ideas will not be ignored. The idea of "angels" is so boring for her she wants something red hot like "Light your passion on our little cloud mattresses." Roberto cuts off that idea saying how Sandra liked the ideas of angels,seraphims and cherubs. Suddenly from overhead there is the sound of a squeaking mattress and a moving bed that poor Alicia mistakes for some worker hammering away and interrupting their meeting. Néstor and Luciana cannot believe how stupid she is. They all start chuckling. Alicia tells us she could not believe she was that naïve or could she?

Outside, Marta sees someone else go in the room and cannot understand what you call people like that. Her husband says a "threesome". She wants to know how Ángel would know about that. He has just heard about it.

Inside they are trying the old bed sheet on the wall trick, but it does not work too well with the projector. Brisa volunteers to go to the mattress company to borrow a screen from them. In the meantime, Luciana has a new idea come over her. She wants two actors: one as Adam and one as Eve to do a commercial about the mattresses in a naughty even risqué way. Nobody is impressed. She is frustrated.

Outside, the Vidal's see Brisa come out and Marta cannot believe there was another woman in there. That is beyond the pale for her. No wonder the father does not have his son. Just at that moment the hotel manager comes over and asks them if they have a room. They lie and say they do. He wants them to get going because they are scaring his clientele by hanging around in their car. Just before they pull away they see Braulio come out chasing after Brisa. Marta is left with her mouth hanging open.

Sandra is in her office all alone going over and over the scene with Augusto canceling their vacation for his "very important" meeting and dismissing her with a wave of her hand. She is crying. Her secretary Fátima brings her some coffee and a hug. Fátima knows about the Augusto cancellation. Fátima says she remembers when Sandra  was so young and had just started to work there. Sandra says she has just gotten divorced from Elías and had not met Augusto yet. It seems that Sandra is afraid that Augusto is going to replace her with a newer model. The cancellation seems to have shaken her confidence. Fátima says things have basically been the same for ten years so why would they change now? She also reminds her that Augusto will never leave his wife. Sandra is still cring when she leaves.

At the Gutiérrez house, Ximena is all excited about her princess dress for the school event. Elsa tells her to look through her story books to find the one she wants. Magos is the wet rag and suggests she picks one that is simple. Elsa cannot believe Magos' attitude. As usual, Magos looks pained and like she does not get what the big deal is.

Back at the meeting, Roberto is happy with the graphics that show clouds, celestial beings, peace, rest harmony. Luciana finds them just boring and tacky, etc. Chuchette jumps up saying there is nothing more for her to do there so she is going home and that they all should be there early tomorrow morning when "Godzilla" (Sandra) gets there for their presentation. She is taking a taxi. Luciana has another Adam and Eve idea. Roberto tells her to forget about it and to leave sex out of it. They are going with Braulio's 3D effect and special effects. They all watch Roberto and Alicia work until quite late and then all of them decide to leave Roberto and Alicia to finish off the proposal. They take the company van they all came in and go home to sleep. Alicia tells us she was so happy that Roberto was staying with her. That was all she needed.

At the Vidal house, Marta is still upset over everything they saw. She does not think that Mateo's dad is capable of giving up his "fun" to take care of his son. Ángel tells her not to be so quick about judging the father because they do not know what they saw exactly. Marta cannot be dissuaded. She knows what she saw. Mateo's dad does not deserve him.

Back at the motel, Alicia and Roberto are finishing up the presentation. Roberto is tired. Alicia tells him to go to sleep. There are enough places to sleep in the room even though it is not as elegant as the other hotel room was where he stole her idea. She is smiling. Roberto asks if she will ever forgive him for what he did. She tells him she has already forgiven him. She tells him how she is in a fix having to feed Luciana ideas to keep her afloat and asks if maybe he could help her get her job as an editor back. Roberto says that is the least she deserves and if it is in his hands he will ask for her promotion. He suggests they grab some shuteye for a couple of hours before the rest of them come back. They are stiffly laid out on the bed fully clothed right next to each other. She tells Roberto to sleep with the angels and Roberto tells her she is is the only angel that he knows and that if his life has improved it is because of her support and all she has done for him. He asks if his mattress proposal is good enough and falls asleep as she tells him that it is.

We then move on to a totally white lovey doveyy fantasy of Alicia and Roberto in the Nubecita mattress world where Alicia unintentionally throws Roberto off the cloud. Back in the real world, Alicia and Roberto are kissing each other. Who is asleep and who is awake? Looks like they were both asleep when Alicia wakes up and is surprised she was kissing him. Alicia tells us she did not know what was a dream or reality but she had a little taste of what it was like to float in the highest part of heaven in the softness of an incredible little cloud. Wide awake she decides to continue kissing Roberto. Roberto wakes up and looks surprised and Alicia manages to look surprised also. They each jump to their side of the bed and Roberto apologizes but he was asleep. they are so embarrassed they cannot even look at each other.

Outside the motel, the company van has arrived with all of the other sleepyheads on their team. Luciana is still sleeping as they are getting out but not for long. Chuchette asks her if it didn't give her the creeps that Alicia and Roberto spent the night together. Luciana tells her not to worry because Roberto would never be attracted to a girl like Lichicenta.

Inside the room, Alicia and Roberto are getting ready to resume working. They jump on the bed to wake themselves up. He gets the door, she puts the final touches on the presentation. As Roberto talks about going over the presentation with the group he puts his arm around Alicia's shoulder and they all notice. He catches himself and quickly snatches it away as they move physically farther apart.

The next scene is at the mattress factory where the presentation of the proposal has just been given to Sr. Bedoya an engineer representing the mattress factory. Sandra is there, too. Sr. Bedoya is a "slow talker". It seems that he liked the proposal but he has to see the proposals from Ikónika's competitors and then he will have to talk to the owner of the company. Only then will he give them a call. After Sr. Bedoya leaves, they all have a giggle and Sandra says they will all meet in one hour back at Ikónika. Luciana is moaning that  it is Saturday. She is told that advertising is a 24/7 job. Sandra also tells Néstor his "lambisconerías" (brown nosing) irritates her. Alicia congratulates Roberto on the great job he did. He corrects her and says it was a great job "they" did.

At the Gutérrez house, Ximena is talking to Nacho about how Alicia is going to help her with all of her princess dress. Nacho wonders how Alicia fared working all night. Nobody has heard from her.Elsa brings in a platter of food for breakfast and asks them all to hurry so they can help her take the clothes off the line before it rains. Ximena is happy to go out and help with the clothes so she does not have to hear Nacho and Magos argue. Elsa tells her all families have arguments. Magos decides it is time to go out and look for work. Nacho says he probably should light a candle to some saints because she is worse off than he is: at least he has the watchman/security guard job. Elsa tells Magos she is staying and to thread some needles because they are going to be working on the hem of Ximena's princess dress.

At the meeting at Icónika, Sandra lets them all know that in spite of Roberto's decent presemtation she doubts they got the mattress account. There was no enthusiasm on the client's part. Luciana starts in with if they had only gone with her ideas it would have been a different story. She has to be reminded of her uncle's ultimatum for her. They all start making fun of her precarious work position and bad ideas. Luciana tells them she still has time to do what is necessary to keep her job. Sandra informs them all that while Augusto is out she has carte blanche to make any  decisions--even big ones-- she wants at the company. She wants to know if anyone has any complaints.

Luciana and Alicia get deep into conversation about what they are going to do to get that new account. It turns out that Oki Oki Jinsei did not sign with the other advertising firm they were considering so there is still a possibility to win that account. Through Chuchette and her insults, Alicia and Luciana find out that Mr. Matsumoto is still in Mexico City.  Alicia asks Chuchette for info on where he is staying but Luchette cannot be bothered because nit is the weekend. Luciana realizes the importance of the account and goes after Chuchette herself to get the info they need to contact Mr. Matsumoto.

At the "model" apartment, Roberto fills in Gumaro on how proud he was being able to coordinate and shine in the presentation. Gumaro is busy fixing a pipe under the sink in the kitchen. He also tells Gumaro that he kissed Alicia. Gumaro comes up so fast from under the sink hearing this, he hits his head. Gumaro says he is very sorry and asks if he is serious. When he knows Roberto is, he says he is sorry again. Roberto said it happened when he was in that place where you are sort of awake and sort of asleep. Gumaro has an ice pack on his head. Roberto insist it was just one kiss. Gumaro,says Alicia wants him and throws him the ice pack to "cool off".

For the next scene we are outside an Asian looking building. It turns out to be the hotel Mr. Matsumoto is staying at. Alicia runs into Mr. Matsumoto in the lobby. Through pantomime, because there is no translator, Alicia gets another appointment to try to get the Oki Oki Jinsei account: the day after tomorrow at 3:00.

Alicia goes to Augusto's mansion to tell Luciana the good news that they will have a chance to win the Oki Oki Jinsei account. Luciana actually hugs her.Alicia wants to involve Roberto but Luciana insists it a job just for the two of them. Of course, maybe Alicia likes Roberto. Alicia says "no" to that. According to Luciana, Alicia needs to create the campaign and be ready to hand over anything Luciana is going to need for the presentation three hous ahead of time so she Luciana can look through it. Luciana disappears upstairs and Dafne comes down to greet Alicia. They hug. Alicia gives her a rundown on how she and Luciana have to get an account because if they do not, Augusto will fire them. Dafne has her own problems with Luciana calling her fat and making fun out of her makeup, etc. Alicia tells Dafne that she was her inspiration for a project she was working on. Dafne is standing just a little taller whe she hears this and is all smiles.

Roberto is washing up at the bathroom sink but every time he looks in the bathroom mirror all he sees is Alicia and him kissing.

At the Gutiérrez house, Elsa and Magos are sewing the hem of Ximena's dress as Nacho wipes off her shoes for the occasion. Of course, Magos is pricking her fingers and is being a drama queen so she can to get some sympathy. Elsa tells her to make smaller stitches. Alicia arrives. Ximena wants Alicia to finish her dress because Magos and Elsa are destroying it. Alicia says she will take care of it. Alicia also says yes she will be at school on Monday at 8:00 to see Ximena. The next morning, Alicia"s cell phone rings and it is Sr. Matsumoto's translator who is calling to confirm the presentation appointment for the next day. The time is 8:10 a.m. and Alicia has only 15 minutes for the presentation. She is told not to make Sr. Matsumoto wait. There is no way to change the appointment so it looks like Alicia will miss Ximena's school event.

The Vidal's make a visit to the orphanage. The orphanage lady (?) introduces Venus the social worker to the Vidal's. Supposedly given the circumstances of Mateo, the orphanage lady tells Venus that the Vidal's are looking for another child to adopt. She leaves the scene and the Venus excuses herself because she has somewhere else she has to be. Before she goes, the Vidal's let her know that they are ready to dedicate their lives to loving Mateo and ready to take him away from his father. Venus looks very serious as they are talking.

Back at Augusto's mansion, Alicia has stopped by to fill Luciana in on the new appointment time for the presentation. Luciana is not happy with how early it is. Alicia remind her if they do not get the account her uncle will fire them. Dafne who has been skulking and listening adds that Luciana will be going straight back to Patagonia. Luciana calls her the worst busybody. Dafne reminds her it is her house. On Luciana goes about how she always tries to get along, blah blah blah. Finally Luciana says she will be there but just not to pressure her.Alicia asks Dafne since she is there, would she be able to help them?

Back at the orphanage, Venus the social worker doesn't know what Marta means by "taking him away" from his father. They are not talking about a toy. Ángel assures Venus that is not what his wife meant. Marta says they will explain exactly why they want to adopt Mateo. Venus is still listening.
