I thought we could instead have a discussion in the comments?

What I remember:
Sandra and Augusto still cannot keep their hands off of each other.
Yes, Luciana does need to work to buy the luxuries of life! She is all alone. Doesn't have a "perrito que le ladre" (is all alone). Maybe she and Alicia could be a team . . . They shake on it with the tips of their fingers. She takes Alicia's new slogan for the Grimaldi show campaign as her own.
Roberto is depressed about his son and possible adoption.
Magos and two other undesirable friends are in the parking garage at Supermercado Más where Magos wants to commit vandalism as revenge for her mother not being able to get her final separation check. Roberto sees that she is up to no good in the garage at one point and makes sure that she knows that he recognizes her and leaves. Eventually, Magos ends up slashing the tires of the manager's car. Looks like there are security cameras. Yay! Is what I say.
The social worker from the orphanage goes to check our Roberto's home address and runs into Gumaro. Not fortunate for Roberto.
Alicia tries on a pair of Grimaldi shoes and we have some funny schtick as she tries to walk and stumbles around until Roberto catches her in his arms. He also tells her she should wear heels because they lift her (backside). He doesn't say it just shows it with his own body.
Beatriz is playing "Für Elise" when Luciana comes in and begs for forgiveness and apologizes for everything at work to Beatriz. Luciana says she is suffering from "bullying laboral" (workplace bullying). She begs her for Beatriz's support and keeps falling on the piano (causing a great out of tune crash) in the emotion of her desperation. They sing Ave María. Funny. Next day, Beatriz comes to see Luciana in her room. Luciana still has not gone to work. She is afraid to run into her uncle. Beatriz tells her she has prayed and that if Luciana has no job at Icónika, maybe it is a sign to go back to Argentina. Luciana is panicked by that pronouncement. She quickly gets herself together (talking to herself and taking selfies all the way)even puts on her ring to get to work.
Roberto wants Alicia to come to see filming of Supermercado Más commercial. She does. The present short termed workers cannot pull off the commercial. Alicia explains the whole situation about firing the older workers enacted by the manager to Mr. Ontiveros the owner. Much to the annoyance of the manager, Alicia convinces the owner to let her mother come back and do the commercial because she has the familiarity with the store and product that is needed. Elsa does come to do the commercial. She also manages for her mother to get her check.
Fun episode. I enjoyed the physical comedy with Alicia and the shoes and Luciana with the piano.
I am happy that Elsa got to be in the commercial and is finally getting her check. Too bad Alicia could not have gotten her her old job back. She had been in charge of the deli meats for twenty years!
It was depressing watching the social worker interacting with dunderhead Gumaro. At one point in the conversation, a neighbor stopped by and called Gumaro a "trácala": swindler. Roberto's shaky cachet suffered maybe irreparable damage.
Also, the electricity got turned off th the Gutiérrez house for nonpayment.
Jarifa- You are a star for filling in so quickly.
Excellent recap Jarifa. You have such a way with words - "Magos and two other undesirable friends" was spot on and made me smile. Magos herself however is in huge trouble. Not sure if she smashed the windshield in the previews or last night (?)
Alicia is coming out of her shell. The tide is turning and I like the mischievous little smile she is sporting more and more. I also loved seeing Elsa do the commercial. What a pro. What a huge loss for the company. I applaud young and enthusiastic but seasoned professionals are just as desirable.
Gumaro and the social worker were painful to watch. She really seems to be going above and beyond her job here, she really seems to have it in for Roberto!
Diana
Appreciate you thinking of us Ezra
Love Alicia doing the Groucho Marx eyebrow wiggle
Alicia in those heels was so funny and the timing perfect when she fell and Roberto stepped to catch her. Maite didn't even look back
Yep, Magos just snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory
I expect a social worker to check the residence and his place of employ
Sandra really wants Luciana gone, is it only because she's afraid of the affair being discovered or concerned for her position?
I loved watching Alicia stick up for the dismissed employees and fixing the problem. I did NOT like Sr O being unable to remember who she was until she she mentioned the Vaca Feliz.
I wrote about Alicia's wig in yesterdays late comments. Yes, it's the bangs that make her hair look bad---fix the bangs and it would be a cute and stylish look.
Ezra it's a bummer when equipment fails. Must see tv is a hard thing to miss.
I agree with all of the comments today. The walking in high heels scene last night was a riot and the social worker checking up on Roberto doesn't look good.
I am in the middle with Magos though. I had high hopes that Magos would straighten up and fly right. I really get it that she was angry at the store manager for laying off her mother but out and out vandalism? NO! Magos, don't go there! Too late, she already did. This cannot go well for everyone involved. Come on Margos, don't dishonor your family. Two wrongs don't make a right.
must see tv

I agree though this will reflect badly on her mother and Alicia. Magos needs to grow up. Seems her daughter has a better handle on that than she does.
Diana
I thought it was funny how she and her nini (slacker) friends were complaining about "The Man" keeping them down, when none of them have ever held a real job in their lives or look like they've even tried. I was fine that she was angry on her mother's behalf, but acting like all this was a personal affront and she understood the struggle of the worker, was laugh-worthy.
I did not watch last night or can watch tonight or tomorrow but it sounds like i missed some good development on Lichita and good thing she got the Mas store owner to bring Elsa back for the commercial and her check.
I will be checking in during the week... just real busy in evenings tonight and tomorrow.
He said it is a matter of work load... he has several things going right now (movie, yo no creo en los hombres... ) ... and.. Lichita!! it sounded to me like they said he is currently in the cast of Lichita!! Has anyone else heard something about Gabriel Soto joining the cast? I bet he is the 'other man' who triggers some more active pursuit between Roberto and Lichita. So Gabriel and Arath/Roberto.... hmmmmm!!! interesting choice for Lichita if i heard right.
I first saw him in Querida Enemiga and liked him in that and everything since, especially la verdad occulta which remains one of my favorites (Yanez was in it too so)...
Sara, I think Magos loves her mother too and was trying to defend her, albeit in an angry and destructive manner. She needs to refine her method, not her motive...
Diana
I would imagine you elevate your performance if you are surrounded by talented actors who bring their best daily.
In most of the roles I've seen him in, he strikes me as rather serious and intense. I like that though. I am not watching Yo No and am sorry to be missing that.

the gringo
Gringo, you are so right about the sleeve length. Does Alicia look in the mirror? I cannot wait to see a more updated Alicia.
Denise
Not happy with Magos being so destructive. Not the best way to solve problems.
I really enjoy Beatriz. She probably knows more than she lets on and is desperately trying to make her life perfect. Her scene with Luciana at the piano was hilarious, as she felt the injury each time Luci crashed down on the keys. The volume on their rendition of Ave Maria was very low, but sounded like something that would make the neighborhood dogs howl.
Magos needs to be in reform school. Such heartache her parents will have if they see that tape. She never thinks things through. This isn't a childish prank, it's a premeditated criminal act.
I hope Augusto finds redemption eventually, cause he is so much fun to watch with his arrogant self. But Sandra seems to be having some regrets.
