Corazon Salvaje 8/5/10 Please Stop Crying. I Can't Take it Any more!

Ep 119

We begin our episode with one of the saddest episodes I’ve ever seen in a TN. And since Jeri covered it so eloquently yesterday I would not dishonor it by trying to recap it again.

Juan, so worn out, finally falls asleep as he continues to tenderly hold his mother in his strong arms. He remembers all the good times they had in their short time together. Regina and the boyz approach him and he wakes with a start. He holds up the rosary and the shark’s tooth and asks them where is God. Where is the light to save my mother. Just one more minute, one more minute. Everyone looks so sad. Remi says we have to take your mother to prepare her for burial. Juan is still babbling. Pedro tells him his mother is no longer with us. Juan continues to babble. Remi says that they are the same. They have both felt the loss of a mother. And here is your family. Everyone is crying. Regina, Colibri, Jimena, Gabe, me. Remi continues, it’s time to let her go. You have to let her go. It is time for her to rest in peace. Juan says you are my brother. You understand my pain. He won’t let him take her. Nobody will take her. He starts to get off the rocks. Then there’s a break and it looks like maybe the scene was cut.

Rodrigo is wandering around the house. He goes into a bedroom.

They’ve managed to get Juan off the rocks and he’s carrying his mother. Gabe gives it a try and says something about stars but I can’t hear over the waves. Juan says no and continues walking. Jimena tries next. She says she understands. His pain is her pain also. He needs to let them take her. He says no. You can’t take her. They all gang up on him but he still won’t let her go. He’s swinging her around and if this wasn’t so sad it would be funny. Because if it was me, I’d be laughing my ass off.

Rodrigo is apparently in MdR’s bedroom. He remembers the night he discovered JDD there in her room. How he wanted to kill JDD but MdR wouldn’t let him. He remembers how he would rather kill her than let her be with JDD. He says to himself that she is dying. The love of his life is dying. He cries. Good. You hateful bastard. He touches the pillow. Why didn’t you love me? Do you really want me to go there? Why, why? He rolls around on her bed. Seriously, are we supposed to feel sorry for him?

Back on the beach it looks like Regina is up to bat. Remember all the good times you had. She’s with your father. No matter what she says he still won’t let MdR go. Think of your parents to together. She’s making some progress it seems. We’ll take her to Penon del Diablo. The boyz start moving in from behind. She begs him some more. He agrees to take her Penon del Diablo. Just when I thought they were going to grab MdR from him, he gets up and starts walking with her. They prepare the Juan De Dios boat for her with flowers and torches. They play music and sing and she’s dressed all in white. Remi tells him everything is ready whenever he decides to go. All the guys are wearing black bows on their sleeves. They get her situated on the boat.

Rodrigo has stopped crying on the bed and gets up to wander down to the dungeon. He follows the hallways until he gets to the cell where MdR was kept. He looks around and swears that he will do something with his own hands. He finds her veil and picks it up and sniffs it. I’m not even going to go there. He finds the doll. He picks it up and throws it on the floor in disgust. He sits in the chair and starts talking to the veil. He repeats her name.

Juan slowly rows his mother’s body to the island. Colibri blows a horn. Juan conducts his own private ceremony. He looks to the sky and says that now his parents are together. He’s made a giant flower heart and his mother is in the center. He says that in memory of his mother his name is now and forever Juan de Dios San Roman Montes de Oca. He asks El Senor to let her rest in peace. He starts to recite the Lord’s prayer as a white dove flies into the middle of the grave and away. I’m not sure if that is supposed to symbolize his mother’s soul passing or whether it is JDD coming for her. You decide. I hear this song in my head as I watch this scene:

Lay down your sweet and weary head,
Night is falling, you have come to journey’s end.
Sleep now, and dream of the ones who came before,
They are calling from across a distant shore.
Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see, all of your fears will pass away.
Sail for miles, you're only sleeping.

Chorus:

What can you see on the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea a pale moon rises,
The ships have come to carry you home.
And all will turn to silver glass,
A light on the water, all souls pass.

Hope fades into the world of night,
Through shadows falling out of memory and time.
Don’t say, We have come now to the end?
White shores are calling, you and I will meet again
And you’ll be here in my arms, just sleeping.

Chorus:

What can you see on the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea a pale moon rises,
The ships have come to carry you home.
And all will turn to silver glass
A light on the water, Grey Ships pass into the west.

Back on the beach Pedro is thanking Remi for taking care of that situation. He says of course.
He is my brother. Santos says he is a brother to all of us. Gabe says he is his patron as well as his friend and also a father. Jacinta says something and Jimena says they are all feeling the pain but not as much as Juan. He went all these years thinking she was dead and then he found her. And then he had to lose her all over again. But finally his parents are together. Jacinta notices the ring and Jimena says it is her engagement ring. Gabe has asked her to marry him. Santos and Jacinta are getting married too. Gabe goes over to Remi and tells him that he needs to be happy too. Don’t let your pride get in your way. He watches Gabe and Jimena together and looks very sad.

Lulu lights a candle and thinks about Remi and thought bubbles that she thanks Remi for changing her life. For his love, his innocence. And for believing in her. For this she needs to show him that she loves him. She cries and wishes he would forgive her.

Meanwhile Rod is still babbling incoherently to the black veil. FF>> We don’t really care.

And now for something completely different:

Renato is in the parlor drinking. I wouldn’t drink that stuff if I were you. Didn’t you learn your lesson last time? Amy barges in looking for her dad. She can’t find him anywhere. Tomorrow she’ll go look again. Renato says she only wants to find her dad so she can go live with him in his house. Aimee says don’t you remember--He interrupts her and says don’t you remember when I told you to get lost? She tries to argue with him and he grabs her arm. When I call you you will come right away. She chastises him for being so rough and says how can you treat me that way when I’m your wife and I’m expecting your child. I can’t wait for him to find out that she’s not really pregnant. He says well then it is better that this future mother get her rest. She gets all snotty about it. If you don’t want to talk then I’ll leave. You only want to drink anyway. You don’t want to confront reality that is why you drink. Hmmm… that sounds suspiciously like my ex-husband. Bad day at work--better have a beer. Messed up on the video game--better have another beer (or two, or three, or 10). Stubbed my toe--better make that a shot of Southern Comfort. I think you get the drift. Is anyone else getting really sick of Renato and Aimee besides me? Renato says you got that right. I drink to forget what a lying ho you are. She tries to bring up Regina but he’s like just shut up and let me drink in peace. I can’t say I blame him there. He says well if you won’t leave then I will. She tells him not to go. He tells her the only thing she is interested in is his position, his name, his fortune. I married you and now you are the boss of everything. He picks up the decanter to pour another drink. I have a bad feeling about this particular decanter.

Back on the beach Clem and Regina are discussing the sad death of Juan’s mother. The death of a mother is a terrible thing. But finally she is happy. They agree. Regina tells Clem that Renato lost his half of the finca in a card game. Everything is Juan’s now. Clem looks surprised. What’s going to happen? Regina doesn’t know. Clem tells her not to worry about it. She tells Clem that Aimee was here. She shakes her head as she tells Clem that Aimee confessed that she’s not expecting a child. I see this as a golden opportunity to get even with her. But that’s just me. Clem is astounded and says Aimee is playing with fire. Yep. Clem is very afraid what Renato will do when he finds out.

Renato is to the point that he doesn’t really care what happens. Blah blah blah. Aimee’s lines, Renato’s lines. He grabs the decanter and heads for the stairs. This time she tells him to get lost and don’t come back. He gets in her face and must smell bad because she keeps putting the fan in front of her nose. He says he could kill her. Oh good. Renato’s pretty snockered by now. I don’t know if it is from the alcohol or the sleepy time potion that was put in the brandy. He starts to go up the staircase of death. We haven’t had a good death by staircase in quite a while so maybe we are in luck. Aimee thinks to herself what a dumbass he is for drinking the wrong alcohol with the potion in it. Maybe he will die.

Raul is at Noel’s office. He wanted to see Noel immediately. He wasn’t sure he had heard the news. News? What news? You don’t know? Raul is a little surprised. Tonight Renato lost his half of the finca in a card game. Noel comes out of his chair on that one. Oh Renato my son! Who did he lose it to? To Juan de Dios San Roman. Noel has to think about that one. So now Juan has more than half of his inheritance! Man, that Noel. You can’t put one past him can you?

Juan finally shows up at the beach house. Everyone is glad to see him. Jimena says now you can be at peace. You have completed your promise to your mother. Santos says we are all here. We are not just your friends we are your family. Amen brother. Thanks to God that I have you all as my friends. My mother said that my friends would give me support and strength. He calls Regina to him. He thanks her for everything. You will illuminate my way the rest of my days. She says yes. They hug. Colibri gives a cute smile. Dr. Pablo shows up late to the party and tells Juan how sorry he is about his mother. Regina says she and Clem would have come for him but they knew there wasn’t much time. He understands and goes to stand awkwardly against the wall. Regina tells Juan that now his mother is not alone. He says yes, she is not alone. My mother accompanied my father and now they are together.

Rod somehow has made it back upstairs and overhears Noel shouting at Leo to see his son. He starts yelling for Renato. Leo tells him to shut.it. He says he just found out that Renato lost the finca. Rod is surprised to hear this tidbit of news. He continues to listen and thought bubble to himself that it can’t be possible. Leo and Noel continue arguing and Noel says she ‘d better make preparations to leave. She’s not having any of that. She’s not going anywhere. That bastard Juan is not going to get this finca. Rod didn’t like the sound of that either. It can’t be possible.

Renato is lying in bed fully clothed and doesn’t look like he’s feeling all that great. He’s having some serious nightmares. Raul is telling him that Juan is more intelligent than he is. Well, yeah. Everyone is laughing at him. Juan is holding a bag of money and a piece of paper and waiving it at him. He tells him what an idiot he is and now he has everything. Bwaaah, Bwaaah! Renato wakes up and tries to get out of bed. He falls back down. Freaky music plays in the background. Then we get scary music as Renato falls back one last time on the bed.

Corazón Salvaje WED 2010-08-04: The white dove comes for María del Rosario

Episode 118

At Raúl's, Inéz Villareal continues frantically demanding why her husband and Noel think Salma is not their granddaughter, when from down the hall Mariela approaches and stops in her tracks, spying Noel. She greets him, saying how nice it is to see him; to which he shyly turns and returns her sentiment.

Mariela remarks on the lovely day and invites Noel to stroll with her; and after the Villareals gladly excuse him, Noel approaches Mariela and pointedly takes her hand to kiss it, looking into her eyes. Noel promises Alberto to return and finish the earlier conversation, and Mariela takes his arm as they exit.

The moment they do, Inéz rounds on Alberto once again, pleading for an explanation; but Alberto can't get over the idea of Mariela and Noel together and that they're even using informal address. Inéz won't be distracted, and he must finally regretfully tell her it's true that Noel suspects Salma is not their granddaughter.

At the cottage, María del Rosario's health is much worse, and she can't eat for coughing. Regina is just praying for God's help that she doesn't suffer when a black figure creeps in through the doorway. Regina is startled to see it's her father, and he's looking for María del Rosario. Where is she? Rodrigo begs.

Back at Raul's, Alberto concedes they only have suspicions; but he's noticed some inconsistencies, like how Salma doesn't really know the town. Inéz desperately worries a deception would break Mariela's heart; while behind the wall in the hallway Salma eavesdrops -- and behind the next wall, Lulu eavesdrops on her, like a mirror looking in a mirror.

At the cottage, Regina tries to stop Rodrigo; but María del Rosario appears from her bedroom and assures Regina it's all right; she wants to talk to him alone. After Regina exits, when María del Rosario warily asks what he wants, Rodrigo lowers himself to one knee and proposes marriage!

In a carriage on a country lane, Mariela grins at Noel across the seat and asks why he's gazing at her so intently. Noel removes his Magical Mystery Tour sunglasses and observes that Mariela so reminds him of someone that he can't put his finger on.

She laughs and asks if it's a former lady friend, and he chuckles and ruefully denies he had any lady friends except Leonarda. Mariela admits she only had her husband, as well; and she was widowed at a young age. Then she lost her daughter and was consumed with finding her.

When Noel asks if she feels particularly sympathetic to Jimena, Mariela confides in a whisper that it pains her to admit she identifies more with Jimena. She hasn't seen much of her, she explains, because her parents think it would hurt Salma. Just then the carriage lurches violently and dumps Mariela into Noel's lap.

Slightly abashed face to face, Mariela seems in no hurry to jump off. Noel gentlemanly ascertains her well being and then launches out of the carriage to find out what the hell happened. As it turns out, the driver narrowly missed a young girl in the lane. When Mariela hears it was in fact Jimena, she runs to embrace her.

At the cottage, Rodrigo is still on bended knee, and María del Rosario wants to know if he's lost his mind. Rodrigo recalls he thought he had lost his mind when he saw her "dead;" when she appeared later as the black-veiled woman in his room; and when he saw her in front of the townhouse.

Rodrigo rises and rushes to her, grasping her hands; but now that he's seen her alive -- and not a ghost, he says, he's come back to his senses. And that's why he's asked her to marry him, he says earnestly; because he's never, ever, stopped loving her. María del Rosario looks at him blank faced.

He eagerly pulls a little red box out of his jacket pocket, explaining breathlessly that this is the ring from the day so long ago of his first proposal -- when that damned fisherman took her away from him! he grits out, shaking a fist. María del Rosario moves away and observes she never belonged to Rodrigo.

Looking him in the eyes, she calmly maintains that her heart always did and always will belong to Juan de Dios San Roman. Rodrigo begs her painfully to please not say that name! He still hates him. But the fisherman is dead, and they two are still alive, he points out. He urges her to take the ring and marry him.

María del Rosario reaches up, closes the ring box and lifts a hand to Rodrigo's cheek, which he gratefully covers with his hand. Poor Rodrigo, she says; he never changes. He never has understood that love doesn't obey orders. She can't marry him, María del Rosario repeats. She's a married woman; married to Juan de Dios.

Rodrigo angrily responds that it's a lie! The guards interrupted the wedding, he insists. María del Rosario observes that it's so difficult for him to understand that Juan de Dios and she swore eternal love -- and that soon she's going away with him. She astounds Rodrigo by explaining she's condemned to death.

Out on the country lane where Mariela and Jimena embrace, Noel looks on and now realizes that of course Mariela reminds him of Jimena. They look a lot like each other, and with dawning comprehension he concludes they look like mother and daughter. Is it possible Jimena is the real daughter of Mariela? he wonders.

Back at the cottage, Rodrigo cannot stomach the idea that María del Rosario might die; but it's true, she says. Rising and looking distant, she adds that she has very little time remaining. If he really does love her, she wants him to let her die in peace. She's already forgiven him. Rodrigo is devastated and exits.

Lulu and Gabriel meet in the plaza, where Lulu reports that Salma always acts preoccupied and sad when she's alone, like she's pining away for somebody. When Lulu adds she saw Salma giving money to Servando, Gabriel thinks it's hush money -- and that if money can shut him up, money could also make him reveal the real Angela.

At the cottage, Clemencia is astounded Regina left Rodrigo alone with María del Rosario, but Regina insists Rodrigo loves her and couldn't hurt her. María del Rosario emerges from the bedroom to say she is feeling much worse, can't rest and is glad they are there. She doesn't want to be alone. She collapses on the floor.

When the women return her to bed and want to call the doctor, she insists they should stay; these are her last moments, she says. María del Rosario tells Regina she must remain strong and help her son, and Regina tearfully promises to do so. Clemencia swears through tears to continue to be like a mother to Juan.

Just then Juan charges in, bearing his mother's favorite sweets; but is brought up short by the sad scene. He can't believe it when Clemencia tells him his mother is dying. He quickly sits by her side and takes her hand, as she weeps over the suffering he's had to endure.

Juan tearfully begs her not to abandon him. Please don't go! But it's not she who decides, his mother says; it's God. Juan can't accept it; he doesn't want her to leave him, he repeats. No! She says he must continue to be strong, but Juan defiantly refuses. He doesn't want to be strong! He doesn't want her to leave!

He drops his head on her chest, weeping, and she asks him not to suffer for her sake. They weep together and she entreats him not to fight it. She's going to reunite with his father, she whispers. Searching Juan's face, she marvels how much he looks like his father. He's coming for her, as he promised, she assures Juan.

This thought mollifies Juan. She seems so sure of that, he observes. Juan wipes his tears on his shirtsleeve and sits up. All right, he relents. He will take her to wait for Juan de Dios. Pulling back the covers, he lifts his mother up into his arms. They'll go and wait for his father, he says.

Juan carries his mother to the shore, where their friends and family are gathered, and explains he must take her -- his father is waiting. He carries her up the shoreline, away from them, sobbing, step by step, slowly leaving friends and family behind as they approach the rocks -- the last barrier before the eternity of the sea beyond.

Sitting on the rocks in her son's arms, María del Rosario, remembers the sea, where she met his father. The sea was always a witness to their love, she says. She knows why Juan called himself Juan de Diablo, but that's over now; no more vengeance, no more tears, no more hate. His father and she will be together.

Juan still doesn't want her to go, he says. But she wants to be happy with his father, she says, and so she gives Juan back his real name: Juan de Dios. Juan kisses her hand, relents and tearfully promises to remember all the advice she gave him and do whatever she wants. And so from now on he is Juan de Dios, he says.

God is love, his mother tells him. And now that Juan's known this feeling -- now that he loves and is loved -- he belongs to God, she says with a beatific smile. Juan promises through tears that he will remember all her words; but just don't leave yet, he pleads.

He shouldn't worry for her sake, his mother says; she leaves gladly. And she thanks heaven that she had a chance to hold him in her arms, even if it was just for a little while. As the sun progresses lower in the western sky, she tells him she endured all those years clutching a rag bundle, hoping to see Juan again.

When she tells him that not for one moment in all that time did she stop thinking about him, Juan cries "Mámi!" into the crook of her neck and is wracked with sobs. To find him, she continues, was the only thing that maintained her life. Despite the sadness, despite the suffering, he gave her the strength.

And she wants him to be strong now. Juan says he understands that she has to go, because her life has been one of martyrdom and she has completed her duty to God about him. For that she deserves heaven; but he doesn't want her to go yet, Juan pleads again, inconsolably.

My son, she says, I would never leave you alone. Placing her hand over Juan's heart, his mother assures him she will always have a place in there. She wants God to always protect him, so she gives him her blessing. Juan kisses her hand and says Amen, but calls it back. No, he can't let her go! he sobs with fresh tears.

Wait, wait, Juan says. He wants to give her something, too. Juan removes the rosary that belonged to her which Clemencia gave him long ago -- and the shark's tooth from his father; and his mother holds them, smiling. The sun progresses lower and lower in the western sky, and his mother says it's the most beautiful evening she's ever seen.

She met him in the sea and she lost him in the sea, María del Rosario says. And only the sea can return him to her. Offering the two symbols of herself and Juan de Dios in her hand together up to the setting sun, María del Rosario repeats that she met him in the sea; she lost him in the sea; and only the sea can return him to her.

"Juan..." she whispers, as her hand slowly lowers, her head drops to her son's chest, and her arm falls slowly from around his shoulders. Juan knows his mother is gone and keens No, mother, no! Still holding her and kissing her hand, he can't let her go. He still needs to tell her about himself; tell her his story.

He needs to tell her how he became Juan del Diablo, what happened during the many years of her absence. Rocking back and forth with her, he begs her not to go. Just one more moment! He needs to tell her about himself; needs his mother to get to know him. His father was a very brave man whom Juan loved so much.

Juan recounts how he met his dad, went to live with him and heard his father's story -- how he thought she was dead. He needs her to listen to him; please don't go, he asks, sobbing. Juan caresses his mother's face and kisses her cheek. Gazing at the same sunset she did, he agrees it's the most beautiful evening.

Now there won't be any more suffering, any more sorrow; because she'll be with him and be happy, Juan says. All the happiness that never could be while on this damned earth! Juan sits with her and mourns as the sun sets and into the darkness. He still sits, cradling his mother, with only the moonlight.

Corazon Salvaje, Tuesday, August 3: Ep 117--Renato, Renato, have you learned nothing from Kenny Rogers?

Regina doesn't know what to make of Aimee's threat, but sits at her kitchen table and cries.

Leonarda tells Clem she has no proof. Clemencia says God doesn't need "proof" and Leo will get the same punishment as if she actually had killed her sister. She advises her to apologize to her sister while there's still time. Leo shouts she has nothing to feel sorry for and Clem tells her to think about it. Leo goes back to hitting the bottle and curses Maria del Rosario.

Clemencia runs into Aimee on her way downstairs. Aimee says she must be happy for the newlyweds. Clem says they are happy, despite what Aimee thinks, and Aimee wouldn't know truth if it nibbled on her fan. Clem leaves and Aimee mocks her. She thought bubbles that their happiness won't last now that Renato has done the paperwork for the anulment.

Renato is all in at the card table. Juan takes the bet. Renato lays down a good hand, but before he can take the pot, Juan lays down a better one. Fully says Renato lost it all. Renato wants to get it back. He offers to bet his half of the finca and the house in town. Juan will take that bet. If he loses, then he'll give Renato his half of the finca and the house in town. They ask Fulgencio to deal. Dumb. Ass. If Juan loses, he still has a house and a fortune, but Renato won't have a dime to his name. Renato doesn't need a card. Juan looks panicked. Fully says they've got to lay down their cards at the same time. Renato grins at Juan. Fully declares Juan the winner. Raul looks pleased for the first time tonight. Renato is in shock. Juan doesn't look terribly happy either.

Maria del Rosario sits up in bed, reading her bible. Regina comes in and sits with her. MdR asks her for a favor. She wants her to guard her love with Juan. To forget the hate that runs in the Montes de Oca family and be happy. She asks Regina to swear nothing will separate her from Juan. Regina swears that the love she and Juan have will be as eternal as Maria del Rosario's love for the original J double D. Renato signs over his half of the house and finca to Juan in the presence of Fully and Raul. He takes his leave. Juan takes the paper and says good night to everyone but Fed. He leaves his cash and asks Raul to give it to the poor…and the soon-to-be-poor (looking at Fed).

Maria del Rosario sleeps. Juan comes in with flowers for her and the paper from Renato. He panics, but she's just sleeping. He whispers to her that he won back the finca for her at poker. The finca is all hers now and she can do what she wants with it. He wants to see her living there, as lady of the house, so she can remember her youth, when she was happy and in love with his dad. He asks why fate keeps taking from him what he most loves. Now that he knows his mom will be leaving him soon, he's going to miss all the love and affection he didn't get from her growing up. He'll have to be strong to let her go. He gives her a kiss and says he'll really miss her. He takes her hand and crosses himself with it, then positions the flowers and the paper where she'll see them. He leaves and MdR starts crying, having apparently been awake the whole time. She strokes the flowers and says her heart is broken because she knows the end is near, but at least she's grateful she got to meet him and give him all the love and blessings she couldn't before. She hopes she can give him enough strength to let her go. She remembers Juan de Dios giving her flowers. She tells him to come for her. She grabs the vase, knocking the paper to the ground, and holds the flowers close to her, crying.

Eloisa's staff put the living room back the way it was. She hopes Fully was pleased with her. He thanks her and says he can't understand why Fed came without an invitation. Maybe Fed is getting a little too comfortable. Eloisa laughs that Fully is the one who brought Fed to the house in the first place, to help with his bad economic situation. Fully agrees with her. Eloisa complains about him inviting Juan. Fully tells her life makes justice in strange ways. We all pay our debts at some time. He advises her not to forget that and kisses her.

A tired Doc Miranda tells Remi he's healing up well. He's tired from all the travel back and forth to see Rosenda and Madame Marlene. Remi is still bitter about the whole "ho" thing. Doc Miranda says nobody's perfect. Remi doesn't want to hear Lulu's name. Doc Miranda says he'll lay off, but he does want to talk about something. He asks about Remi finding Juan when Juan was a baby. He's worried about all the lies the Montes de Ocas have told.

Leo goes looking for Renato, but he's not in his room/the girls' old room. She says she felt lonely and wanted to talk to him. She cries when she realizes he's not there.

Doc Miranda is convinced they had something to do with the death of his uncle. He figures that his uncle was there for Juan's birth and that he refused to keep his mouth shut and was killed. Remi says that's a pretty serious accusation. Doc Miranda wants to look for proof. If Leo and Rod killed his uncle, he doesn't want to let them get away with it.

Leo cries. Alone. In the dark. Serves her right. She cries that she's being left alone and she doesn't have anyone. Everyone is abandoning her and soon she won't have anyone but that bitch Aimee. But at least she'll have her grandchild, right? That will be her only consolation, her only company. She tunrs and heads out of the room.

Aimee strokes her corseted belly and its fake padding. She stomps the fake belly on the floor and curses Regina for sleeping with Juan. She curses Juan too.

Reggie and Juan lie in bed together. She doesn't know why he went to confront Renato. Juan says he had some unfinished business with Renato. He'll tell her about it in the morning, but for now, he strongly suggests they kiss all night. Not that we get to watch, mind you.

The next morning, Leo's nursing a hangover. She asks Celia for stronger coffee. Celia thought bubbles about how much she drank last night. Renato comes downstairs and greets Leo. She complains about how awful she feels and how late he got home last night. He asks for a few minutes to talk about last night…um, in the office please, so one one interrupts them. She can decide for herself how serious it is. In the office, Leo sits behind the desk. Renato is pacing and it makes her dizzy. He refuses coffee or tea. Leo doesn't like seeing him so upset. Renato says no one is lucky in this house. Leo thinks if he tries, he can fix his life. "With Aimee?" Leo knows he doesn't like her like he did before, but that happens in all marriages. And then other things are left. Renato says he doesn't have respect for her. Leo reminds him there's a kid on the way. She notices Ren isn't listening. He tells her they've lost the house and the finca. Heh. Oh, sorry, I mean, Gee, that's too bad. *giggle, snort*

Eloisa comes into Fully's office to tell him she's going to see her dressmaker. Fully says he doesn't want to be without her today. Eloisa whines about all the work he has to do. He says he'll leave it all for another day. She can pick up her dresses some other time, right? Eloisa is forced to agree and says he comes first. She reminds him that his wishes come before anything else. They hug and Eloisa makes faces.

Leo demands an explanation. Renato admits he lost it at cards. Leo is shocked. Renato tells her they've still got money. The only thing he doesn't like about this is that Juan is the guy who won it all. Leo doesn't like it much either. Serves her right, the cow!

Lulu answers the door at Raul's house. Noel comes in with kind words for her. He greets Don Alberto and asks if Raul is available. Alberto says there was something about unfinished business after a card game and four big bags of money. Noel agrees that's strange, but he's sure the rumor mill will come through. Has Alberto had a chance to think about Noel's doubts about Salma? Alberto has noticed that her attitude has changed recently and he's starting to think Noel might be right and Salma isn't really Angela. His wife hears him and gets upset.

Renato keeps trying to console Leo. Aimee fans herself idly. Leo is upset because the house was a present from Rodrigo. She hoped her grandchildren would grow up there. Aimee giggles behind her fan. She suggests they move into her dad's house in town while they look for another house where Leo's grandchildren can play. She'll go into town and talk to her dad immediately. Renato tries to stop her, but Leo says she always gets her way anyway, so just let her go. Renato says that Rod has nothing to say about this, since the finca was his.

Regina is shocked when she hears the news. Juan makes it sound like it's not his fault--it was all Renato's idea! Reggie is worried about her family. Juan gets upset and says he'll give it back, then! Reggie calms him down with kisses and says she doesn't care about Renato, she's just worried about her family is all. Juan tells Reggie that he wanted to give the house to his mom and he wanted Reggie to help her with it. Well, Reggie doesn't have good memories of the finca and doesn't want to live there. Juan agrees--he doesn't want to either. Reggie suggests they give the house to Clemencia. Juan likes that idea. Reggie likes their little house and wants to live there. Juan says he's heard in town that there's rumblings of revolution. He's heard the idea that the land should belong to those who work it, so he'd like to give the land to the farm workers and the fishermen. Reggie agrees and says she's so proud of him.

Corazon Salvaje Ep. 116, 8/2/2010 Federico Shoe Shine Boy?

Review: Jimena and Gabe are having their own wedding ceremony. Somehow the waterfalls are lit with different colors. He is hers and always will be, she is his and his love has shown her anything is possible. He hands her flowers, white and red, a symbol of their love. Para siempre, para siempre. Lots of kissing, they are naked in the water, looks like a pretty strong waterfall for them to be under. Their theme song playing, I hope the water isn't too cold. Full moon., goes on for awhile. Then they are out of the water, dressed again except Gabe’s shirt, but then they are nude again in the flowers surrounded by candles, making love. They are united by love, immensely happy.

The Aguacil and his cohort are thrown into the prison, the prison where they keep people for life. Aguacil is being attacked by people that he put in prison, very bad scene for him.

Jacinta is telling Gabe and Jimena that MdR is very sick and doesn't have long to live. Gabe wants to go look for Juan. He kisses Jimena who then comforts Jacinta and then he is very quickly with Juan and hugging him. Juan thanks him and the other pescadores saying they are his true friends. He just asks that they don't let MdR know how ill she is. I want her to be as happy as possible in her last days. Pedro says he can count on them. Santos says they are as much his brothers as Remigio, who is also there. Colibri says we will always be with our capitan, hugs Juan and Juan is crying. Juan asks Gabe what is happening with his property, the house by pinon del diablo? Gabe says you have it all back and gives him keys. They ask him what he is going to do? He says he is going to change his clothes, he has to go see an old friend - ominous music and Remi looks concerned.

To Fulgencio's house where they are setting up the card table. Fully is telling himself it can't be that Eloisa is lying to him, she has prepared everything perfectly for the party. Eloisa says so you see that I love you, and Fully says I know you love me mucho, as he kisses her hand.

Jimena is telling Regina she knows about MdR, and MdR has the light of love in her hand, she is waiting for that love, that she will be fine,- Jimena tells Regi she will be there to help her. Regi is grateful, but she tells Clem that it hurts so much that MdR is ill, that Juan is suffering. Clem asks where he is and Regi says he said he had something to do and he would be back later. Uh Oh. Clem hugs Regi who is crying.

Raul is talking about something Norte at Fully's party. Eloisa says don't they want to toast, they do salud. Raul is wondering if the other people are coming, it's getting late, Fully says of course they are. Juan arrives pronto. Raul and Fully are happy to see him, Eloisa not so much. They are still waiting for Renato and Juan says if the fourth player doesn't come maybe we will have to cancel or go get him. At that moment in walks Renato saying they don't have to do either one. Awkward moment between all of them, Ren and Juan stare daggers at each other. Juan says it's gentlemanly to arrive on time, and Renato says because of that he apologizes for being late. They sit down, Juan and Renato looking challengingly at each other.

Regi is talking to the pescadores, she is asking them where Juan went, that he was mysterious about leaving. She says she is sure they all know where Juan is. Gabe tells her the truth, that Juan went to Fully's to play cards. Regi looks surprised, and asks why would he go to such a gathering? What was important about it? They don't want to answer, but she is insistent. Gabe tells her he wanted to go because one of the players is Renato. Regi looks disturbed and upset.

To said party, where Fully is saying it they all agree the bets will be high and Raul says they all have enough money to cover their losses. Juan suggests they put all their money in the middle of the table. Renato asks if he is doubting their honor, Juan says no, let's just do that to avoid unpleasantness later. They all put their bags of money on the table, and Ren ask Juan if he is satisfied? Fully says I don't think Juan is doubting anyone's honor, this way we just see what we have to lose. Raul suggests Eloisa hold on to the money. She will gladly do it and they don't need to worry about their money. Fully says good luck, gentlemen. Ren looks worried. Juan deals.

Regi is asking how they could let Juan go, especially Remigio, Pedro says don't worry, Juan told us nothing would happen, and by the way would you like some coffee? Remigio tells her he knows how much she loves Juan, but she should adjust to the way he is and learn to have confidence in him.

Back at Fully's, Fully and Raul fold, It's Juan and Renato and Juan wins the first hand. After more tense card playing, Juan wins again, and then Ren takes the next one.

Leo is drinking and pacing in her room. Clemencia enters and Leo yells at her to get out of her house especially since she quit. Clem says she didn't come because she wanted to but because she had to ask her a question. How could she treat her sister that way? Leo denies it, says it isn't true that she shut MdR up for all those years. She tries to blame Arcadio, but Clem doesn't buy it she says Arca was just a dog who followed her orders. You could have been a nice girl, but you have turned into a murderer! Leo looks shocked, Clem says because now I know you poisened Costanza. Leo drops her wine glass.

Rodrigo is pacing in his bathrobe in his room repeating Maria Del Rosario to himself, the only true love of his life. He observes that the lives of MdR and Regina and Leo and Aimee are similar (funny he should notice now). Regi and MdR had intense love, but in contrast Leo and Aimee never knew true love. He tells himself, of course, he must look for Regina and find MdR, he must look for her.

We go back to the tense card game, lots of money on the table. Ren has dealt and asks how many cards people want. Raul thinks he has won and puts his cards down, but Juan has a better hand (pobre Raul). Ren wins the next hand - Raul is looking more and more dismayed and worried but he's not twitching.

Regi is sitting in the hut thinking about what Remigio said and feeling okay about it. In walks Aimee, saying she doesn't understand how Regi can live in a place like this. Regi asks her what she is doing here? I'm your sister and wanted to visit you and see with my own eyes how you are living. Regi says it may not have many comforts but it is my house and I am very happy with my husband. Aimee sarcastically says, your husband, you say it like it is a proper marriage. Regis says because it is, Juan is mine and I am his. Aimee tries again, and says it is proper in name only. Regi says nope, you're wrong, we are husband and wife in more than just name, we are husband and wife, totally, with all that, that means. Aimee is seething with jealousy and Regi looks sweet and happy - I love it!!

Servando and dressmaker are awfully friendly but I think he said something about it going according to plan, and she said yes Servando. Fully is still thinking he refuses to believe Eloisa has betrayed him, especially with that imbecil Federico. Servando and the dressmaker must have made it up for money. Eloisa is a lady and she loves me - as she she simulates a kiss from across the card table. Raul comments on how loving Fully’s wife is, and Fully says yes I love her, and Eloisa says and I love you, mi amor. Juan talks about how he and his primo hermano are married to such wonderful, beautiful virtuous women. Renato says I don't know why you have to talk about our private lives. Let's concentrate on the game. Juan says you're right. Ren says speaking of women and puts down some cards, (must be queens) he has won this hand. Raul says it's not our lucky night, Fulgencio. But Fully says the night is long, and Juan says and luck can change as can women.

Aimee doesn't believe Regina that she and Juan are lovers. Regi tries to explain it again, but Aimee’s denial is monumental and she doesn't believe her. She says Regi is just saying it to make her angry.

The doorbell rings during the poker game and Fully says who can that be? Eloisa goes to answer the door. Guess who? Feddy comes in and Juan says I trust such a gentleman as yourself won't be offended by my presence. I think Fed is a little taken aback by that. Fully is watching every move between Feddy and Eloisa intensely. Eloisa is pouring champagne for Fed and Fully is distracted from the game. We have another moment where Raul thinks he has won and puts his cards down, only to be beaten by Juan, again. (Couldn't they let him win once?)

Back at the hut Aimee is still trying to tell Regina that Juan really loves her instead. But Regi tells Aimee Juan loves her, with his soul, real love, he only desired Aimee. He and Regi have it all.

Back at the cards, Fulgencio says the boys need more champagne and Eloisa says she will get it, but he insists that Fed pour champagne for everyone at the table. Fed does as he is told, and when he pours Renato's from the left, Fully corrects him and tells him to pour it on the right. Eloisa is watching this with a worried look on her face. Fulgencio then goes even further and insists Feddy shine his shoes with his handkerchief. Again, he tells Fed to get the toes as well, both feet, doing everything he can to humiliate him. Feddy has to do it of course, but he tells himself Fully will soon be dead, he will get his revenge for this humiliation. The other guys keep playing but they are uncomfortable and confused about what is going on as Feddy is under the table shining Fully’s shoes. Eloisa looks horrified, but when Fully looks at her and smiles lovingly she has to smile back.

Back to Aimee and Regi, Aimee is still going on about how only the strong and audacious succeed in life and that she, Regi, is neither one of these. That Juan needs a woman like that at his side, and that a woman's heart can't be won by force. Regina says he didn't win my heart by force, he won it with tenderness. She tells Aimee she knows a Juan that Aimee could never even imagine, and that they are very happy together. Aimee then says they won't be happy for long because Renato has prepared something that will separate them forever, para siempre! Dun dun dun.

Corazon Salvaje Episode #115, Ren is raped, Leo gets a dosage of her own medicine, Gabe and Jime profess their love for eac

Aimee is helping Renie to bed. I don't think how she pretends to do it with him. He is almost unconscious.

Serv is with the dress maker. The dressmaker gives him Elo's letter and he gives her a little bag of money.

Salma is thinking about what Jime told her about love being the most important thing in the world. Salma's "abuelos walk in the room and apologize to her for delaying the trip and thank her for her understanding. Los abuelos think Salma is doing this out of the goodness of her hart. Abuelo gives her a brazalette that was Mari's at her age. Salma, says no, no I can't. They insist and also give her some money. Salma can not resist.

Aimee is having sex with Renato's corpse, eeer, body. Aimee is really sick. Renato's sees a distorted image of her. Aime keep asking him where is his will and he belongs to her.

Salma is paying up Serv. Lulu is hot on her heels. Lulu sees how Salma gives Serv more money for Intel on Branco. Serv tells her Branco is in someplace called Costa Esmeralda.

Remi is back with the fish folk. They happy about him being back. The big guy asks Remi if he made his peace with Lulu. Remi tells him not to mention Lulu to him anymore. Remi is going to get some water, Eusebio is going to help him, but Remi gives Eus a look of "don't you dare". Poor Eusebio steps back. Pedro asks Remi why didn't he wait to be pick up by them. Coli says, yes we would've picked you up. Remi tells them listen, unfortunately I am the bearer of bad news. Remi tells them about MDR illness and the Juan needs now more than ever.

MDR is taking a ride around town. Juan and Reggie promised her from now on they'll do whatever she wants.

It seems the love potion only renders Renato limp for love making. Renie is back on his feet getting dressed. Aimee is asking him giggling (I can not stand her giggles) if he liked it. That woman has no shame. Renato is not a happy camper. Renato tells her she disgust him and tells her to go away. Renato tells her he'll pay her to go away. Renato leaves the room and Aimee tells herself, the money she paid the witch was a good investment.

Salma is thinking about the generosity of the abuelos, then she thinks about Serv giving her Barnco's location, then she thinks when Branco telling her to go to hell. Salma is convinced that she is a bad person.

Juan and Reggie have taken MDR shopping. They are treating her like a spoilled child buying for her everything she put her eyes on. Fully comes to talk to Juan about the trial. Fully tells Juan that his testimony, Fully, at the trial was neutral. He wants to become friends agian with Juan. Fully invites Juan for the soiree at his house tonight. Juan declines the invitation, but has second thoughts when Fully tells him that Renie is going to be there also. Juan joins the girls back. MDR gives him a taste of something she is eating. Juan takes it and gives her a hug.

Renie is taking a bath thinking about what happened to him. It seems he is not using any soap. Renato is thinking about Aimee and she gave him something to make him lose his will. He's pretty upset he says "maldita sea" and goes underwater. Renato if you could do every one a favor and stay down. sigh a gal can only wish.

Fully is someplace I don't know where. It doesn't look like home. He signals someone to join him, me thinks is Serv. Yep, is him and Serv gives him the letter Elo left for Fed with the dressmaker as a toke of his loyalty. Fully is very surprised about the content of the letter. it really sucks now to be Fed or Elo. At the same time Fed is thinking about how pretty soon he'll everything that is Fully's, his money, his wifey, and power. I thought Fed had Fully's wife already. Back to Fully, he instructs Sev to have the letter delivered to the intended recipient. Sev try to protest but Fully orders him to do as he is told. Good move by Fully. It seems he does not want to arouse any suspicion. Serv leaves. Fully is still not believing what the letter says.

Juan and Renie arrive home with their child. Juan just bought the whole store. They are overwhelming her, I think. MDR wants to have some alone time with Clemencia. Juan asks Reggie that he some alone time. Reggie understands his ply. Juan leaves the cottage for a walk. MDR tells Clemencia about how she is trying to hide her illness because she doesn't want them to find out about her. But they do not fool her. MDR know they know. MDR doesn't want them to suffer on her account. She is happy she is going to see JD soon. MDR has a cough attack and we see blood on her hanky again. MDR want to be hugged by Clem the same Clem hugged her when MDR was a youngster. Clem hugs her and MDR talks about wanting to be with JD. JD is outside the window waiting for her.

Juan is ridding on the beach. MDR and Clem continue their crying fest. Clem asks her about the letter. MDR tells that Arca had the letter. Clem asks her about her content. MDR tells her the letter said that Constance suspected Leo poisoning her.
Clem asks MDR if she sure. MDR tells her she read the letter more than once. MDR didn't who Constanza was but she knew the mentioned in the letter was Leo her sister. Clem I didn't know Leo's evilness would go this far. God forgive her.

Juan is walking on the beach blaming Leo and Rod for what is happening to him. Juan is also thinking about the promise he made his mom and that he won't break it. Then Juan thinks about Fully invite to play cards and that Ren is going to be there. I see Renie losing everything tonight at Fully's house.

Celia knocks in Renato's door. she brings the invite to the poker game.

The dressmaker gives Fed the letter Elo left for him. Fed talks to himself, since the casino was closed there's nothing to entertain a man other than banging his best friend's wife in this town. Now that Elo is not coming there's nothing to do, unless I go to her house and play cards with the cuckold of her husband as if nothing is happening.

Jeeez, the weather and tine in this TN changes so rapidly. I thought when Aimee and Ren where doing the deed was night, well it seems it was the middle of the day. It was nice and sunny. As it was just seconds ago when Juan was taking his stroll on the beach. Now is pitch dark at the finca. Leo is thinking how alone she is now. Then she takes a sip of cognac, uh oh. MDR is in Leo's room. Is Leo hallucinating? MDR startles Leo. Leo drops the glass, which probably is a good thing knowing what we know about the cognac in that house, and asks MDR What are you doing here. Leo tells MDR you have nothing to do in this house and tells her to leave. Leo tries to drag MDR and force her to leave. MDR tells her I'll leave but first you have to accompany me. MDR tells Leo how a bad cat she has been. MDR wants to take Leo to the dungeons. Leo of course doesn't want to go there. MDR drags her. Wow! MDR is very strong. Hard to believe that sickly woman would be able to drag strong Leo as if she was a kid. She drags Leo. I hope MDR know what she is doing. What about if Orca is down there.

Jim is contemplating her engagement ring. Gabe approaches her and cover her eyes. Jime recognizes his hands. Gabe asks her, where she's been. She said she wanted to be alone. They profess their love for eac other. Jime is concern about heir marriage because of her being a gitana and he being white. Gabe placates all her concerns and to seal the deal gives a kiss. I've noticed since Jimena was sold to the tavern guy, she doesn't dress like a gitana any more. She is fully dressed now. She is looks prettier. Gabe just has have and idea to proof his love for Jime.

The sisters are in the dungeon. MDR takes Leo to the room where she had her prisoner. MDR throws in Leo's face that all Leo did to MDR was for Rod's love. But nothing worked because Rod is still in love with MDR. Take that Leo hateful cow. Leo can't believe her ears. Rod still in love with MDR? MDR my poor sister, the only thing you accomplished was the destruction of your family. But Juan and Reggie are going to be happy the same way JD and I are going to be in eternity. MDR tells her how Arca tried to rape her and how poor Mirta saved her. MDR tells Leo that was the day when all her suffering ended. MDR tells Leo who she trusted her and how much che loved. But Leo only did bad things to MDR. MDR forgives her and pities her because Leo is going to end up alone. MDR leaves her in the room. Leo cries out to MDR not to leave her alone. Leo just sits in bed begging MDR no to leave her alone there.

Gabe put a crown made of flowers on Jime's head. They are inside a hart made of candles near the water falls. Gabe profess their love for each other. Too sweet for my taste. Yeah, yeash, yeah we get it you guys love each other. I think Gabe is getting lucky tonight. they are in the water now. Seriously?

That's all for tonight.

Corazon Salvaje 7/29/10 Time is Running Short for Everyone

Ep. 114

We start with Aimee putting the luuuuuv potion in the liquor decantor and glass. She looks very pleased with herself.

Juan and MdR are out in a boat. You couldn’t pay me enough to get out in that little boat. MdR is telling Juan that the sea was the beginning of her happiness. She remembers back to getting her shoe stuck and toppling over into the ocean. JDD was her savior. They have a conversation but I can’t hear it over the waves.

Clemencia and Reggie are in the hut on the beach. Clemencia thinks the story of MdR and Juan De Dios is a very sad story of love. Reggie agrees. When JDD comes for her they will be eternally happy.

Back on the little boat MdR tells Juan that she needs to be beside his father JDD. Juan tells her not to say such things. Juan cries.

Back in the hut Regina is happy to be in love. Clemencia is very happy for her. Reggie says sit down. I have something very important to tell you. MdR told me about a letter. A very important letter from my mother. Remember you were looking for it? But that’s impossible MdR didn’t know about it. Clemencia remembers back to when Constanza gave her the letter and made Clem promise she would give it to her children. Clemencia tells Reggie yes, there was a letter. Your mother told me to give it to you when the time was right. It contains a terrible truth. Reggie is on the edge of her seat as is Viewerville.

Juan is back and talking about his mother. Clemencia thinks they need to get Doctorcito to come by and see her.

Abuelo is telling Fake Angela and Abuela that he’s got some business with Noel. Mari says ok if you say so. Fake Angela says there is no hurry. Man, I hate her.

MdR is over at the doctors talking to Remi. He’s still wallowing in whatever emotion he’s wallowing in. She tells him that he is young and strong. She knows it was he who saved Juan from the jungle that night. Thank you. Thank you so much. Look at me. Look at me Remigio. He starts to cry. She wants to give him a prayer. He gets down on his knees and cries. She gives him a big hug.

Mari is over at Noel’s office. She thinks its just super that her father is going to spend more time in Veracruz thanks to Noel. He’s happy that she gave Lulu a job. She thinks Remi is a good man. Noel agrees. (Will there be some hot monkey love in their future? Hmmmm…) Noel thinks it is a shame that there had to be a deception. Noel gets all tongue tied as he tries to say something. Mariella interrupts him and moves closer. She thinks love is the most marvelous emotion that ever existed. And she has no doubt about it.

Juan is pacing. Reggie wants him to calm down. Pablo comes out and Juan wants to know the truth. What is wrong with my mother? Her condition comes from being in the dungeon so long. Her condition is very grave. She doesn’t have much time. Juan is shocked to hear that. There’s got to be something that can be done. We’ll do whatever we have to to save her. Pablo understands his desperation and he can get a second opinion but that doesn’t really change anything. Juan begs Pablo to save her. To do whatever he can. Reggie tries to calm him down. How’s that for a kick in the head? You just find your mom after all these years and then learn she’s going to die. Reggie says he’s got to accept what is happening. He’s like--NOT. Reggie keeps trying to console him which only makes him more agitated. You have to be strong and enjoy her. Enjoy what little time she has left. Regina is going to help him.

Back in Veracruz Noel is walking with Mariella. She asks if it is ok to use the familiar with him and takes his arm. He stammers and stutters like a dork as he says oh sure. I think we know who Noel is going to end up with. Whoopie! They both deserve some happiness. She says something about Leo and we cut to said harpy.

She thinking to herself what will happen to her if they find out the truth about MdR. Frankly Viewerville doesn’t care what happens to you. We’d prefer that your fate be, well, uh--painful.

Back to Mari and Noel. He’s sure that he is destined to live without love. Mari thinks they are alike. Waiting for something that never happens.

At the jail the sheriff is pulling out bags of coins. It looks like he’s been saving for a rainy day and the weatherman is calling for rain.

Over at Pablo’s MdR looks concerned that Juan and Reggie look so worried. It sounds like they are so busted for talking to the doctorcito. Juan stammers that they uh, just came over to talk to Remi. MdR using her finly tuned mom lie detector skills knows that Juan is, well, lying. She says she just finished talking to, uh, Remi. She was thanking him for taking care of Juan all those years and she wanted to be there for Remi also like his mother was for Juan. She wants Juan to be happy and she is so glad that Reggie is there for Juan also. Pablo looks like he’s going to cry.

Jimena is running through town when she runs into (literally) Fake Angela. I personally would have like to see Jimena give her a gold old fashioned body-slam right there in the street. They insult each other and Jimena says she is happy because she has love. What does Fake Angela have? Money and things. Gabriel asked me to marry him and I accepted. See my engagement ring? For Jimena the only thing important is love. Fake Angela thinks to herself that for Branco’s love she would give all this up.

Back to Noel and Mari. Noel is telling her that she is a good person and very pretty. He’s sure that she will find a good man. She says the same about him. She gets a little flustered.

Juan is still hugging his mother. Regina says she and MdR need some girl time so she says she’ll see them later and leaves. After the girls are gone Juan looks really bummed. He jumps up and tells Remi that he needs him to be strong. He needs his help right now. Remi swears that he will be there for Juan and nothing and nobody can stop him. Juan is upset that he just found his mom and now he’s going to lose her again. I’m sad too. I hate it when he cries. Remi swears by his mother that he will be by Juan’s side.

Noel and Mari are still talking. She wants to confess something to him. It’s about Jimena. She feels something strange inside when she is with her. (Too much noise in the background. Reminds me of when my boss dictates a tape while floating in his pool and tells me he‘s at a meeting.) But I digress. He wants to ask her a question. How much do you remember about your daughter? She remembers a song that she used to sing to her. (Could this be our magical link to Jimena and Mari?)

Jimena is on the beach singing the same song. Well, I guess that answered that question. Jimena finishes singing that song and wonders why she remembers that song. More song singing. FF>>

Fake Angela arrives home and shouts at Lulu. Lulu stands up to her and says that if she is pretending to be someone she isn’t, she will burn in her own little special place in hell. We can only hope. Fake Angela glares at her.

Noel is meeting with the judge who says that there are rumors going around town that the Sheriff has committed many injustices and was bought off by the rich families in town. Noel tells him for sure that is true. He thinks the captain will help them. The Judge says he will think about it.

Reggie and MdR are walking along the water. Rod comes up and calls Maria’s name. Reggie and MdR turn and look. Dun, dun, dun.

Juan is still trying to figure out how they can help his mother. Pablo doesn’t have much hope. Such is life. Remi wants to thank Juan for all he does for him. Juan says no thank you for all you have done for me. FF>>

Rod approaches MdR and wants to know what happened. MdR says it is all his fault because he couldn’t stand her loving JDD and the the son she was carrying. Rod says he loved her with all his heart. Too bad, so sad for you Rod. She scoffs at that. She says to him love is possessing someone. He tells her it was all Arcadio’s fault. Leo had nothing to do with it. Ha! Tell me the truth right now. Dude, you can’t handle the truth.

Meanwhile, Leo is at the finca all alone. Sitting on the couch thinking to herself that everything is lost. Damn straight it is. There is no salvation for me. That’s right sister. I’ll spend the rest of my life in jail. Maybe you should just off yourself right now and be done with it. I’m sure no one in Viewerville would stop you. Anyone? No? Good. There is a loud knock at the door. It’s Renato. She tells him she doesn’t want to talk to anyone for the rest of her life. I’m sure everyone would be happy with that situation. My father abandoned you but I’m still here. You have enough to worry about without worrying about me. Your skanky wife for one. Tell me everything but don’t mention Aimee. Speak of the devil in walks said Skank.

Eloisa is handing an envelope to the dressmaker. She wants her to give it to Fed. She won’t be able to meet him tonight. She’s hosting friends of her husband to play cards. If I was the dressmaker I’d be sick and tired of those two doing the wild thing in my bed.

Two guys are walking along talking about being free when they are ambushed by some soldiers. Are we supposed to know who they are?

Back at the finca Her Royal Skankness says she can see by their faces that she is not welcome. Ya think? Renato says he’s just worried about his mother. Leo tells her to go to her room she doesn’t want to see her face. And frankly, we don’t either. She says she found an invitation to play cards at Don Fully’s house. She laughs as she swishes out of the room. Leo can hardly stand it. She doesn’t wait for the door to close to start blasting Aimee.

Rod is still trying to convince MdR that Leo had nothing to do with her disappearance. It was all Arcadio. Whatever! She doesn’t bother trying to convince him. She really doesn’t even want to talk to him. He wants to make it up to her but she’s not having any of that. She and Regina leave his happy ass standing in the street. He looks like he’s been sucker punched and he starts to cry. Awwwww-NOT!

Leo asks Renato if he’s going to accept the invitation to play cards tonight. He doesn’t think so. He doesn’t really feel like being around people. He thinks he’s going to stay home and go to bed early. Aimee is waiting for him with a glass in her hand. She still trying to get him to drink the luuuuuv potion. They bicker and he takes a drink. More bickering, another drink. She convinces him to go up and look at baby stuff. His glass is empty. Uh oh. He doesn’t feel good. He sits down on the couch. Aimee tries to get him to get into bed. She starts kissing him and undressing him. He keeps saying he feels bad. She gets his shirt off and goes for the pants. End. No!

Corazón Salvaje WED 2010-07-28: I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true; she said to Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang

Episode 113

In a secluded corner of the town garden, after Gabriel asks Jimena on bended knee to marry him, she pulls him back to her and wonders if he's sure it doesn't matter that he's white and she's a gypsy. It doesn't, Gabriel answers. Holding her face and looking into her eyes, Gabriel tells Jimena he loves her for the way she is and for the way he is with her; for the countless, small unforgettable moments that made him understand her, care about her and love her. He loves her so much, and he's willing to face the whole world to be with her.

With a look of wonder, Jimena answers that she loves Gabriel; that when she's with him she's not afraid of anything. Gabriel returns to the red rose he put in her hand and pulls a sparkling diamond ring from its petals, and Jimena agrees with all her heart to marry him. Winding her arms around his neck, they embrace and seal it with a kiss. Gabriel slips the ring on Jimena's finger, and they vow their love to each other.

At the honeymoon cottage, Regina is just bringing Juan some tea and kisses when they hear Clemencia and María del Rosario returning, laughing and chatting. Juan gets a chuckle out of startling his mother with a Boo! as she enters; and she enjoys it, too. Juan can't get enough of hugging his mom as they all greet each other.

María del Rosario relates how walking around the port brought back so many memories, especially of his father. When Juan asks if they saw anyone they recognized, she coyly wonders who they would have seen. Clemencia exits to return to the notary office, but María del Rosario says she wants to spend all the possible time she can with them and remains.

A very solicitous Juan seats his mother to coax her into eating the soup Regina's been working on all morning, and María del Rosario is pleasantly surprised Regina knows how to cook, since she herself never learned. Regina explains Clemencia taught her; the soup is good, and María del Rosario jokes that Regina can get married now.

Rodrigo seeks Aimee out in her rooms, but finds Celia, who fills him in on the argument yesterday where Aimee told off Leonarda. Aimee arrives and gives Celia the boot. Turns out Rodrigo needs a shoulder to cry on over seeing María del Rosario, but Aimee's got no time or inclination for it. She's got her own fish to fry.

He's begging her to listen to his worries, but her aggravation over Renato is all she can think of. Rodrigo says it's her own fault -- and his own for spoiling her as a child. When he admits he should have punished her disobedience, Aimee turns to him smartly and bites out that perhaps he should have!

In a short, sweet scene at the cottage, Juan rests his head in his mother's lap and looks blissfully happy as she reads love poetry aloud while Regina looks on. Back in Aimee's room, Rodrigo is mulling over the fact that Aimee should have had a stricter education. He takes her by the shoulders and begins to say that now she's going to be a mother -- when Aimee interrupts him.

And if the child is never born? she asks. Confused, Rodrigo wonders if she might tamper with her child's life; but a sudden suspicion impels him to ask if she would dare to invent...? Aimee interrupts him again, insisting it was just an innocent comment.

At Raul's, Mariela's dad insists to her that they are leaving Veracruz that weekend. When Mariela objects, he assures her she'll soon forget about Jimena; but Mariela denies it. She'll never forget her, and it has no effect on the love for her "daughter"; but she's going to give up fighting the move.

The doorbell rings, and Lulu goes to greet Noel. He enters and tells Alberto he has an urgent matter to discuss. Meanwhile at Dr. Pablo's, Clemencia has stopped by there to tearfully consult him about breaking her promise to María del Rosario not to reveal her terminal condition to Juan.

Remigio, who is listening at the door, overhears that Clemencia wants her to see the doctor without arousing suspicion. When Remigio enters and suggests they say María del Rosario is coming to visit him, Dr. Pablo agrees it is a good idea. Out on the beach, Regina, Juan and his mother gather sea shells and gleefully romp in the surf.

Back at Raul's, Noel admits that he has no proof yet, but says he suspects that Salma is not their granddaughter, much to Alberto's surprise. In the bedroom, Salma looks sad and wistful, doubtless thinking of Branko, not far away.

Consequently, when Mariela enters to inform her they're leaving on the weekend, instead of enthusiasm, Mariela is confused to encounter a decided lack of it from Salma. Salma meekly agrees and claims she has a headache and would like to rest. Mariela moves to touch her, but oddly pulls back.

Alberto doesn't understand, and Noel reiterates that he has no proof; but that Salma would be in it for the money and that she was being manipulated by Griselda -- whom Jimena insists that Salma actually barely knows. Alberto can't stomach the thought of the missing-granddaughter nightmare beginning all over again and dreads Mariela finding out; but Noel assures him they must not speak of it, rather wait in town a short time to observe and discover the truth.

At the notary office, Phillip is dressed in a nice suit and dives into righting what he thinks is a big mess of law books and papers, just putting things on shelves and in cabinets wherever there is space. Clemencia enters and is horrified that Phillip shows no regard for the order they should be stored; but in a nice twist, she actually intends to help him, and he's bursting with gratitude.

In her rooms, Aimee plans for Celia to take her right away that night to see Kuma, the witch doctor Celia recommended earlier. At the honeymoon cottage, Juan and Regina get some time alone in their bedroom in the twilight. They stand together; his strong, brown hands hold and caress her while his lips trace the line of her shoulder to under her ear; and they both smile with pleasure before joining in a kiss.

Under a stormy night sky, Aimee and Celia duck into a dark, crowded little hut with bubbling cauldrons, where a spider crawls, an owl hoots, a raven caws -- and they are startled to find a small, shrouded figure ensconced in the middle of it all. Aimee begins to give instructions, but the witch doctor takes orders from no one, she says.

In the cottage, Juan and Regina make love again and declare their devotion. Juan tells her she's his whole life, and Regina assures him no one will ever separate them. Honey gold in candlelight, their bare bodies covered only by long, blond tresses, linens and each other, they clearly dance the age-old rhythm of the joining, rising and falling.

Alone in his bed at the townhouse, Rodrigo suffers through one horrifying nightmare of María del Rosario after another, moaning and rolling in pain. He remembers the terrible suffering he willingly caused her, Leonarda reporting her dead, and the shock of seeing her that day on the street, alive and defiant. Rodrigo half awakens and repeats in delirium that he must find María del Rosario. Must find her, must find her...

In her hut, the little witch doctor knows why Aimee is there; that she's concerned about the baby she's not carrying. And the woman gives her a potion that will make the man of her choice her slave. A few drops will do it; and be careful, because too much will kill him, she warns. When the witch doctor bids Aimee come near her cauldron, she reads in it punishment and tears for the Montes de Oca; but especially blood! Blood and death for the Montes de Oca.

Servando waits in the darkness outside Eloísa's dressmaker's house for Eloísa and Federico to appear, which they presently do -- together, in a farewell embrace, leaving no doubt they had a tryst. Not to mention they both look supremely satisfied. When in a moment the dressmaker also appears, Servando steps out and bids her not be frightened; he has a nice business proposition for her.

Meanwhile, Aimee and Celia return to the farm, where Aimee goes about in the dark, carefully dropping minute amounts of the potion into all of Renato's cognac bottles. At Fulgencio's, a chirpy Eloísa returns home to a glum husband, claiming she had a very entertaining night out; but Fulgencio did not, he says. When he explains that he's been bored since the casino closed, she happily offers to host card parties for his friends there at home, which he thinks might be a good idea.

In the cottage bedroom, Regina and Juan linger before sleep, talking. He says he's less good at pretty speeches, having spent most of his life fighting or just surviving; but now that all that is behind them, he has a chance to thank Regina for how wonderful she's been with his mother -- even if it is just for a little while.

He wants to thank her for showing him what love is, because he was really afraid he was never going to experience it. He's grateful that her love changed him and saved his life. And not only that, he chuckles, but what she said at the trial did, too! They both laugh; and taking her by the chin, he observes that she was very brave.

He admits he did wonder if she had sent a warning to Renato, which Regina vehemently denies. She would never do that, she insists. He should know her heart belongs to him, she says; and he does know, Juan says with a smile. He found that out during her testimony; only a woman in love could defend him so intensely.

She agrees but says he needn't thank her: everything she said is the truth. She means so much to him; so much! Juan says. Never leave him, he asks; and she won't. She loves Juan de Dios, Regina says; and Juan calls her his princess, as he gathers her in his arms again.

Next morning, Rodrigo attempts to go out about town, but instead keeps encountering face after face that all look horrifyingly like María del Rosario. At the finca, Aimee pours Renato a glass of potion-laced cognac just as he's descending the staircase to go out. Amazingly, he is not in the mood for a drink and starts to exit when she stops him and prods him about how nice it must be to do whatever he wants without explanations.

When he warns her not to provoke him into saying things she'll be sorry to hear, Aimee shoots back that she can say nasty things, too. He stops and throws his briefcase down, complaining that she's so different than when they got married. Now we see her real personality, he says. Why did she fake a love she never had? Why did she make herself out to be such an innocent, weak, little girl, Renato asks, mockingly.

You're just a tramp, he adds. At this, Aimee hauls off and smacks him hard with her fan; but he doesn't care. He just draws back and smacks her with his open palm across the face. What I'm never going to forgive, he yells, either you or myself, is that you set a trap -- and I fell into it! You can have my position, my name and my fortune; but not my love.

In the plaza, Rodrigo's hallucinations continue; he sees María del Rosario in every face -- and now they are closing in on him and surrounding him. There's no escape, and he falls to the ground, clutching his heart. Back at the finca, Aimee holds her stricken face as Renato tells her he's not concerned about her anymore. Not only does he not love her, he says, but he doesn't care what happens to her.

As Renato exits, Aimee heads back to the cognac decanter, laughing; as if she cared what happened to him either! Little man! she snorts. Pulling the vial of strong, dangerous potion from its hiding place in the cleavage between her breasts, she upends it and splashes the entire contents into the cognac, turning it blood red.

Corazon Salvaje, Tuesday, July 27: Ep 112--Score! And about damn time too!

Noel digests the news about where MdR has been all these years. He's so happy to see her, but feels "rabia" toward Leonarda. MdR says she doesn't want any more suffering. She's just glad she found her son and she's thankful for everything Noel has done for him. Noel asks forgiveness for not having done what he should have, and for what he owes to Juan. Juan doesn't feel Noel owes him anything. Noel cries, thinking of how he loved, but wasn't loved in return. Leonarda never loved him and Leo and Rod cheated, so he's left the finca. MdR says it's better that way, so he's not tied to someone who doesn't love him. Juan agrees and says Noel should find a woman who loves him. Clemencia and Regina agree and Reggie says it's never too late for love. Noel takes another moment to digest that MdR is alive. The five of them stand there and bask in the happy.

Servando spies on Eloisa and sees her going into the dressmaker's shop. He finds it suspicious. Moreso when Feddy goes into the dressmaker's shop as well. Because I'm pretty sure Fed doesn't wear dresses.

Mariela pleads with Salma to understand that she feels a great affection for Jimena. Lulu listens at the door. Salma threatens that they need to leave right away.

MdR prays her rosary. And coughs. Oh, damn. She's coughing up blood. She tells God to do his voluntad, but she's ready. She returns to praying.

Juan lies in bed chuckling to himself. He's happy about all the recent surprises. He finally gets up and offers to let Reggie have the bed. Oh, no you don't! Reggie asks him to stay and sleep with her. She wants them to wake up in each other's arms. Damnit, man, get with the program! They smooch. Reggie says she loves him. Someone screams "nooooo" on the way to commercials. What's that about? More smoochies after the break. Reggie gets all shy when the undressing begins. And then we skip straight to "undressed." The way the music keeps getting cut, we know we're missing details. Yes, Univision, I do know where babies come from, but that doesn't mean I don't always want to learn more. We watch this for the educational value, you know.

Noel is grateful for Clemencia letting him in on the secret about MdR. They muse over how much it must have sucked to be locked up for all those years. Noel says it would be terrible if she got sick from all those years of being stuck down there. Especially if she died right when Juan found her. Clemencia is optimistic that now that they're taking care of her, she'll be fine.

Juan + Reggie = consumation.

Clemencia takes MdR out for a walk in the square. She's still coughing. They pass in front of the house in town and MdR wants to get a better look, but Clem wants her to stay away. MdR remembers the balcony that Juan used to climb up to see her. Clem pleads with her to go to the church like they'd planned. MdR thinks this might be her last chance to see the house and Clem buys that argument.

Juan hangs out some nets on the beach. The boyz come up and try to avoid telling Juan, but Pedro tells him what happened to Remi.

Aimee signed the annulment papers with Reggie's signature. Renato says he only wants to free her from Juan. Aimee mocks him saying someone's bound to notice that Reggie didn't really sign it. Aimee realizes he'd do anything to get Reggie away from Juan. Renato threatens that it won't go well for her if she dares tell anyone what he's doing.

MdR wants to remember the house and all the good times with Juan de Dios. Clemencia keeps trying to get her away from the house. Rodrigo walks out and sees her. MdR confirms for Rod that it really is her. Rod gapes at her and clutches his chest and Clem leads her away. Rod crumples.

MdR and Clemencia go into the church. Clemencia is worried that Rod recognized MdR. She thinks he and Leo are capable of killing her. MdR doesn't really care, now that she's found Juan and she doesn't want Juan to know what happened. MdR makes Clem promise in front of the Virgen that she won't tell, then tells her that she doesn't have long to live, she has an incurable disease that will take her last breath. She begs her not to tell anyone, least of all Juan. She doesn't want him to suffer, she just wants to enjoy her last moments. Clemencia cries and hugs her.

Remigio thought bubbles that he should leave to avoid hurting anyone else. Juan and Reggie come in to see Remigio. Remigo asks Juan's forgiveness because he wants to die. Reggie tells him to man up. Juan agrees with Reggie, but Remi worries about his job prospects. He refuses to beg and he doesn't want to be a burden to anyone. They start shouting at each other. Reggie reminds him that she owes him big time for showing her the real Juan and says she and Juan won't leave him. Juan gets Remi to look at him and says Remi can't spout this nonsense and let him down. He's the one who saved Juan and he's got to keep fighting. Well, Remi doesn't want to be a burden, the sharks took his will to live. Reggie is disappointed to hear him talking like this. She wants him to snap out of it. She and Juan won't feel sorry for him, but he won't get rid of them, either. Juan tells Remi he needs him now more than ever. The guys hug and everybody cries.

Jimena and Gabe come to visit Noel. He lets them know he's living there and Clemencia is looking after him.

Rod stumbles into the house, still clutching his chest. Yes, MdR is alive. Sucks to be you. Rod thinks he's going crazy. He pours himself a drink. He realizes that Leo owes him an explanation and goes to get it.

Salma runs into Servando in town. He mocks her for her new trapos that hardly let her breathe. He reminds her how free she was as a gypsy.

Jimena tells Noel that she and Grizelda only met Salma in Veracruz, so she can't be Mariela's daughter. Gabe tells Noel that Lulu is spying for them to prove that Salma's a big fat liar.

Salma complains to Servando that they give her whatever she wants, but she doesn't have a cent. Servando laughs at her. He tells her the caravan isn't far and Branko is now the leader. Salma gets all happy. Servando says he isn't going to go visit them. He sees Eloisa and takes off to go spy on her some more.

Juan and Reggie talk about how hard it is to see how badly Remi is taking things. Reggie has an idea to cheer him up, though…love.

Lulu goes shopping. She remembers telling the doc that she loves Remigio and him telling her to fight for Remi. She takes off without her basket and runs to see Remi. She demands to see him and says if he doesn't want to see her, he can shut his eyes. She tells him he's not the only one suffering. She knows it was her fault and she didn't tell him the truth because she was afraid of losing him. She never thought a decent guy could fall for her, being a ho and all. She says they both made mistakes, but she's not sorry because at least she got to know him and know what it was like to love. He may not think she's important, but she thinks he is. She pleads with him to look at her. When he won't she says she's said what she has to say and if he wants to keep fighting it and doesn't want to be the man they all thought he was, fine! She leaves. Remi throws something that was on the doc's desk. He cries.

Lulu goes out into the street crying. She tells Noel that she said what she had to say to Remi, but she doesn't think he wants to see her ever again. Noel says maybe she'll fall in love with someone else in time. Lulu says she'll never love anyone else. Remi will always be the love of her life. The vendor gives back her shopping basket.

Rod comes in to see Leo. He tells her MdR is alive. Leo asks if he's gone crazy. Rod drags her out of bed and says he saw MdR with Clemencia and he demands an explanation! Leo claims not to know what he's talking about and says he's being unfair, especially after she's always been on his side. She whines that she doesn't deserve this treatment.

Noel thought bubbles to himself that it was silly to think that a young woman like Lulu would ever be interested in him. He resigns himself to a life without love.

Leo reminds Rod of Arcadio going crazy and claiming that MdR was alive and locked up, that Leo killed Constanza, but hey, he ran off. She says if someone is guilty it must be Arcardio. Rod seems to buy it. He's horrified Arcadio would do such a thing. Leo says she can't believe it either, her poor sister! What she must have suffered! And all without them knowing. Leo fake prays to God for strength to deal with her pain. Rod doesn't know where MdR is, but he won't rest until he finds her and she tells him what happened. Leo thought bubbles that that damn Clemencia already knew about this! Rod looks at Leo suspiciously.

Juan asks Reggie if she's sure love will heal Remi. She says she and Juan were practically enemies, but now they love each other. Juan asks if she misses having servants, but Reggie says she's never been happier than she is now. She feels loved and protected. Juan is happy too, but it scares him. He's afraid something is going to screw up their happiness. Reggie swears she'll always be with him. Smoochies.

Leo comes to see Renato. He shows her the annulment papers. He tells her that Aimee faked the signature. Leo says this will cause a new scandal. She doesn't want Ren to go say anything to Aimee, she's tired of their fighting! They've made this house a hell!

Salma remembers Servando telling her that Branko is nearby, that her clothing is so much more constricting. Salma starts ripping things off and yelling that she's a gypsy, damnit! She doesn't want to be a Payo!

Gabe takes Jimena to a pretty spot in town and asks her to marry him. We'll have to get her answer tomorrow.

Ultimas Semanas! Woo hoo!

Rabia=rage
Voluntad=will
Trapos=rags, clothes

CS - Monday, July 26 - happy reunions and startling breakups

EPISODE 111 - July 26, 2010:
Maria tells Juan that yes, he is her son - he is the son of Juan de Dios San Roman y Maria del Rosario Montes de Oca. Juan won’t believe it. Maria tells him to look at her. Juan thinks his mom is dead. He’s visited her tomb many times. She explains that she is his mom, that for years she was dead by being imprisoned in the dungeon but she never lost faith. He can’t believe it. She says it’s true, it’s true. She says he’s confused. She really has to work to convince him to believe her. They hug. He cries in her arms. She sees his birthmark on his neck. She shows him her birthmark on her neck. He’s in shock. She says LOOK! LOOK! I’m your mother. They hug and cry. “It’s a miracle” cries Juan. (Aw!) “My son! My son!” cries Mom. “Mother! Mother! Mother!” cries Juan. They hug.

At home at Paradise ranch, Juan and Regi laugh and kiss in the main room. She notices his new haircut. He says now he is ready to begin a new life with her and his mother. She tells him the secret she’s kept in her heart -- that she loves him. He loves her more. They kiss.

Felipe sits on his favorite stair and cries and tears up his paper with farm hand on it. He’s depressed over being fired again. (He still can’t find work.)

Leo thinks about Aimee’s rant about hating the family and especially Ren. Leo grumbles, if it wasn’t for the grandchild Aimee is carrying in her womb, she wouldn’t care for Aimee either.

Felipe stands on the rock wall and makes his suicide speech as Noel drives by in his coach. Felipe jumps off the wall towards the sea. Noel runs over to the wall and looks down. Felipe landed with his feet firmly buried in the sand. Noel pulls him back up and talks him out of suicide. Felipe talks and talks and rambles before Noel’s advice about work and money actually register in his brain.

Juan talks with Regi about spending time with his mom. Regi tells him to take all the time he needs - since he’s lost so much time with her already.

Remi tells his fisherman buddies not to tell Juan anything about what happened to him. He doesn’t want to ruin Juan’s happiness with being reunited with his mother. Remi is still depressed about Malu. Gabe enters. They explain Remi’s request not to tell Juan. Remi asks to be alone. They all leave. Remi remembers his shock at seeing Lulu kissing another man at the casino.

Gabe finds Lulu at Raul’s home. She explains that Mariela hired her.

Noel agrees to give Felipe a job. Felipe the klutz celebrates and twists and turns and falls backside first right into a fruit stand.

Juan and Maria visit Juan Sr.’s grave. She wants to buried right next to him when she dies. Juan doesn’t want her to talk about death. Maria explains how Juan Sr. and the fisherman thought about death and the sea as part of their everyday life. Juan says his dad always talked about her kindly and with lots of love. She advises him to continue to fight for his love with Regi. Love with conquer all obstacles and survive forever.

Al and Raul are in the office, discussing Mariela’s new hire Lulu. Al is concerned about his money running short. Raul assures him that he is fine with Lulu working for Mariela. They talk about the end of Juan’s trial.

Lulu tells Gabe that she is disposed to do whatever it takes to win back Remi’s love. Gabe promises to help her.

Dr. Pablo tells Mariela and her mom that Mariela just had an anxiety attack. Mom is happy to hear it and presses for permission to leave and go back to Puebla. Mariela has another anxiety attack as she cries and begs not to leave town.

Gabe asks Lulu to spy on Salma for him. He and Noel suspect that she isn’t telling the truth. Lulu promises to help him. Gabe leaves. As Dr. Pablo walks through the living room, Lulu asks him how Mariela is doing. Dr. Pablo says much better. As he turns to leave, she asks about Remi. He tells her that Remi is depressed. She says she loves Remi so much. He advises her to fight for that love. He leaves. She makes a vow to do just that.

Rod visits Leo in her bedroom. She is still upset over the trial and all the catcalling, gossip and scandals against them. Rod takes off his jacket and the climb into bed together. They start to kiss.

Noel returns home and asks Celia where his wife is. She says in her room. He asks where Ren is. She says locked away in the office. Celia leaves. Noel stops himself from entering the office and goes upstairs slowly.

Rod and Leo are in the midst of making love. Noel knocks, enters and is stunned by the sight of the two in bed together. (I’m more repulsed by the sight myself. Yuck!) Noel applauds Rod and Leo for finally consummating and showing what they all have suspected for years. He asks what happens now? Leo doesn’t care - she only cares about her son’s opinion. Noel warns about the public gossiping that she is a whore. Noel is relieved and feels he is now totally and completely free of her and he will now leave the house. Leo says good, go. Noel warns them about the deceit of Aimee and what Ren’s reaction will be - that it all may very well end in a duel to the death between Ren and Juan. He leaves. Leo calls out to Noel - she’s is really upset over Noel’s warning. Rod consoles her, kisses her, then says that he should probably get back to his house in town as soon as possible.

Noel, with suitcase in hand, sees Clem in the lower lobby. He explains that he is leaving the ranch forever. She wants to leave with him. He smiles and says she is always welcome to come with him. Clem runs to get her things quickly and they can leave.

Noel visits Ren in the office. Ren sees dad with his suitcase and tells his dad he is so disillusioned and deceived by his own father. Noel explains that he had to defend Juan, it was a matter of the heart and conscious. Noel explains the wisdom fathers teach their children and thinks Ren will understand as he will soon be a father as well.

Clem is packing in her room and talking to her Virgencita doll statues. Leo yells and enters Clem’s room. Leo orders Clem to get back to work. Clem won’t work for murderers. Leo slaps her. Clem slaps her back TWICE!, then quits and warns Leo that her downfall has now began. Clem takes her suitcase and statue and leaves.

Noel tries to talk with Ren. Ren doesn’t really want to talk or listen. He tells his dad to have a nice life. Noel asks for a hug before he leaves. Ren won’t do it and only says “Go with God.”

As Noel walks back to the lobby, he plays with his sword cane, grumbles a prayer for evil to befall on Rod and Leo and takes off his wedding ring and places it on the table before he leaves.

Ren stands in his office, totally depressed and disillusioned.

Out at the town gazeblo, Jimena and Gabe are happy and in love. She is happy that Grizzy has disappeared, and that Mariela has forgiven her. She knows that Salma is an imposter and doesn’t trust her but at the same time, she doesn’t want to hurt Mariela. As they talk, the caramel apple vendor walks by, Jimena tells Gabe about her memory of her and her mom and the caramel apples.

Santo and Jacinta are in their beach shack home. He talks to her about marriage and asks her to marry him. He goes on and on talking that he doesn’t hear her says “I accept”. She says it a second time, and it takes awhile for him to register what she said. When he does, he can’t quite believe it at first that she said “yes.” They kiss!

In the coach, Noel asks Clem why the secrecy over where they are going first. Clem only tells him that he will see when they arrive.

Juan and Regi are kissing in the main room at Paradise Ranch house. Maria enters and interrupts. Regi mentions her mom, who died when she and Aimee were little. Maria mentions finding a letter written by her mom to her and her sister. Regi wants to know what it said. Maria refuses to reveal anything about the contents until Clem is present. Regi thinks the news can’t be good. Just then, they hear the voices of Clem and Noel approaching. Noel is stunned to see Maria sitting there, alive, in front of him.

Ren makes a vow to himself not to lose Regina. He takes out papers from his desk and laughs to himself.

Celia is talking with Aimee about premonitions, great powers and a pact with the devil. Celia is totally paranoid and Aimee is intrigued. Ren enters and orders Celia to leave. Celia obeys. Aimee wonders about his visit. Ren thrusts the papers on the table - she looks at them and realizes they are annulment papers. Ren has the pen ready for her to sign them.

“ULTIMAS SEMANAS!”
