Caray Caray Special Report - People en Espa~ol Mas Bello fiesta - May 20, 2010

Hola a todos! Hello everyone on Caray Caray!

During my recent vacation I flew to New York City for the People en espa~ol Mas Bello 2010
fiesta on May 20. As the blog's unofficial photographer, I was permitted to enter and
stand in the corner with the other photographers in the press room at the event.

Here is the link to see the photos I took both outside the venue and in the press room:

How cool is that! Thanks for posting those pictures :)

Thanks...you should go professional! These were great.

Thank you. Those were great. That must have been alot of fun.

you're welcome. i'm happy you like the photos. These were the best ones I took.

yes, it was fun and hard work. i really had to have good timing to get a good photo - if i took a photo to quickly when the guys with their monster flashes that shoot off a gazillion flashes of light in a second were taking photos, my photos turned out way too light. Of course if I didn't use my own flash or waited too long, my photos turned out too dark.

TBLMOE didn't attend -- i didn't think he would. Since the event was held during the week and he has work to do with his new telenovela (STuD).

The reason why I was 'unofficial' is because I didn't pre-register for official credentials/passes three weeks in advance. (The staffmember who was in charge of passes informed me of this fact that night.)

Jody :)

Wow Jody. Those are great photos and you included a Dinero guy, Victor Noriega with his hair in typical wild Dinero style as well. Awesome. You were right out there in the big leagues, baby. And next year you'll be "official" I presume. Fantastic.

Wow, Jody great pics! And thanks for the background info as well. I too hope you can be "official" next year. Thanks again!

Wow, what an experience! Thank you for sharing the pictures. Is this blog well know in the Latin Entertainment community?

Well, now we know what Marco (from Dinero) looks like in casual clothes. Great pictures, Jody!

I was very surprised to see Victor there. One of the People en Espanol staff members handed out a sheet of paper with a list of celebrity guests. Victor wasn't on the list.

I think some of the guests who came were involved with the Univision/Telemundo/Azteca America Upfronts that afternoon and were invited to appear at the party because of that.

vaboricua -- the person clearing the press and handing out the passes had no clue about our blog. I explained as best I could but I think he was more impressed by the fact that I was from Iowa than understood anything I was explaining about the blog.

because of all the photos that I had to delete from the event because of the gazillion flashes of light problem, not too sure I want to do the party press room again. if I go for 'official' credentials, it will be at the official 'upfront' press conferences (unless of course TBLMOE decides to attend). ;)

in my humble opinion, the three celebrities that I was most impressed with and were the friendliest to the press were Lupita Ferrer (she actually walked back and forth in front of the press twice to make sure everyone had the opportunity to take a photo of her), Jackie Bracamontes, and Mauricio Ochmann.

Jody :)

Jody, thanks for the terrific photos, very professional. It sounds like you had a great time.

Jody- How fun! Thanks so much for posting. Good to see some of our novela favorites there (looks like Marco has that crazy hair in real life too).

Jody--

Thanks for the wonderful photos and sharing them with us. The guy was impressed that you are from Iowa? He's actually heard of Iowa and doesn't think it's Indiana, Ohio, Idaho, etc.? I'M impressed with that, and you know why!

Jeanne

I'm real envious you were there. So glad to hear that J Bracamontes is as accommodating as she is charming.
Mauricio Ochmann .... cutie-patutie.

Very cool. You got to see Mario Cimmaro! He's my fave.

Mauricio Ochmann is shooting a novela in Colombia right now so he must have taken time off to come to the event.

Jody,
Don't know if you are still on the Caray, Caray blog.
I was very interested in viewing your pictures from the People en Espanol event. However, when I go to your link, I don't see anything. Help!
