We first get a repeat of the last scene of the previous episode, from the "I killed Berenice" part.

Sam is sad for Gin. Paz doesn't exactly explain why Gin was taken in prison ("she did some bad things"), but then again Sam is 7. We need a psychologist for this poor child. Sam asks her if it could be a mistake like Paz's, but from Paz's face it's an obvio no. They talk about the special connection they have ever since the day they met. When Sam asks her why does she think they connected immediately, Paz says "Because I'm your-" but Esteban enters and unwillingly ruins the opportunity. They talk about Kenzo and Sam asks them what happened. Esteban says that Kenzo had a little accident, but he's getting better, it's nothing. Sam comments that they're both acting weirdly. Btw, can she see her mom? Paz and Esteban exchange some looks.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Receta will only air on Monday and Friday next week. On Tuesday and Wednesday it'll be preempted by Copa de Americas and on Thursday by the presidencial debate.

We get 7 minutes of Mir and Mau talking. Mau says he didn't want to hurt her, Mir says he did, but then says things like "I can see you as much more than a monster" and leaves open some opportunities for them to be an item. Mauro gets suspicious and says he won't fall in the trap, but kisses her anyway. I hope he hasn't ordered his yoga mat yet, because I refuse to recap a yoga scene with these two.

It's that time again! Karmageddon arrives to deal itself to the evil ones we have discussed and analyzed to a degree that Freud and Jung would applaud. Evil is escalating every day as all the Deadly Sins (Pride, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth) are committed. The usual questions apply:

• What do you think the writers will do to them?

• What do you think they deserve?

If I have forgotten anything in the following, please advise so I can revise. This should include all data through episode 77.

Ginebra Nicoliti / Altair Jarabo

Full Rap Sheet Not Disclosed

Guilty of at least 12 first-degree murders, mostly outside Mexico. Also guilty of unknown counts of tax evasion, financial fraud, money laundering, arson, child abduction and trafficking, child abuse, torture of an unknown number of adults, blackmail, creating false evidence of a crime (the murder of Berenice), bribery, and an unknown number of attempted murders.

Guilty also of using her sexuality to lure victims.

Before criminal sentence is passed should be sued for mental and physical health damages to her victims and any others affected by knowledge of her crimes.

Kenzo is venting histrionically to Esteban. All of this -- his ex, his kid, his not-kid, the money laundering -- is too much. He can't handle it! He feels nauseous! He wants to vomit! He must have missed the panic attack class last week and had to do a make-up lab. Esteban reminds him to breathe and assures him that they'll get through this together. After all, he's doing such a great job of managing his own household, why not take over Kenzo's, too?

Fobo continues to school Elvira in all the ways Gin is suspicious. She resists his arguments, but he points out that as her bodyguard, his first and only job is to guard her body (jeje -- he doesn't actually phrase it that way, but we're all thinking it.) He finally convinces her to "test" Gin by taking her out of the will and seeing how she reacts. Dude, are you nuts??? He better be glued to her side every second from here to the  lawyer's office, because that French Shooter is still out there.

Gin rounds the corner of Casa Roble just as Esteban and Paz are disentangling from one of their shmoopy goodbyes. How did she know to go there? Did she come straight from the railyard? Oh, who cares. I only peek out from under my beanie to take notes.

Reunited and it feels like I want to cry 

This is going to be a quick one, busy day ahead. Feel free to fill in the blanks. 

Paz and Sam are still hugging, Sam asks why Paz is laughing and crying at the same time. Paz says she’s happy. Happy to see her beautiful face and her smile, she’s waited so long for this moment and now they are finally together. Esteban is looking at them and he gets teary eyed, too, then goes inside allowing them to be alone. Paz asks Sam if she’d like to prepare with her one of the recipes she’s been keeping for her daughter. Sam agrees, she loves cooking with Paz and loves being back in this house. They go inside together, and they walk in slow motion, which is perfect because it gives me enough time to blow my nose and wipe my eyes – I might have been ugly crying during this scene.

Elvira and Fobo are dancing to the music box and are about to kiss when Ginebra interrupts with her call. Elvira seems disturbed by what she hears, but who wouldn’t be since Gin is on the other line.

Paz and Esteban explain to Gala they have to wait before they can expose Ginebra, she’s being very cautious, there are no witnesses to her threats. Elvira arrives to ask Esteban about Gin. Gala and Paz leave and El wonders if he knew something about his wife having an unexpected trip. Esteban had no clue, Gin does whatever she wants. Elvira doesn’t get what kind of marriage this is (the bad kind, El, the very bad kind).

Busy days, so here are the highlights:

Humberto, who also is a breaking-in mastermind except from a lawyer, hacker and computer expert and Fel put the plan of breaking into Ginebra's house in action. Two goats, using the Telenovela Teleportation Device are randomly (?) outside the house. Ginebra's guard goes to get them away, but Humb knocks him unconscious. The cameras have been disabled beforehand by him. He and Felipa enter the house, splitting ways to search more effectively. Hum finds a small box, in which he inputs the number 0708 (Ginebra's clue to Esteban) and gets a USB stick out. He shows Fel and they put everything back like it was. I mean... Gin is going to notice the knocked out, tied, gagged guard in the middle of living room, so she is going to search for the stolen anyway. But plan executed successfully. (Slightly OT, but I ate some chocolate yesterday and checked the expiration date and it was 07.08... No joking, I instantly thought of Gin. Geez, she has become a nightmare even to us!)

As we return to Villa Villa, Damp Mauro repeats that they must! save! Eder! Gin tells him not to discuss it in front of Esteban, who is after all only the kid's father and not an official member of the Kid-Poisoning Club. Mir slips away from the doorway on little rubber-capped feet. 

Elvira Empress of Etiquette shows up uninvited at the Robles' to tell them she's never liked any of them but still expects them to take her entirely unsolicited advice: Paz should stay away from Esteban, because mistresses are tacky, and Salo should back off from Gala, because teenage fathers are even tackier. By the time she's done they have her tearing up parsley, which seems to take a bit of edge off (but she still has plenty of edges left.)

Esteban visits Eder, who hasn't twitched. Sam and Monito offer to sleep in his room to watch out for any signs of life, but Esteban says he will do that himself...indefinitely. He probably thinks he'll be safe there from the devil-in-a-negligee, but the rest of us aren't so sure.
