OK bloggers, what do you want to do about Univision and its crazy schedule?
Corazon Salvaje people, do you want to dump your midnight madness and become the new Dueña team? You'd get Colunga and Lucero and that magnificent villain David Zepeda (we loved, loved him in Sortilegio).
Pecado team, are you happy as you are?
any other takers?

I am interested in recapping Soy tu dueña. I would love to share a day with someone, recapping every other week if possible. Capn, interested in sharing a slot?
I am unable to help out on Hasta.
Best Regards,
EJ
In other news, my favorite actor mentioned me on his Twitter page. Cool beans!
We could cover CS translating esmas notes to give the gist of what's happening. I had the player set and fell asleep (a first in all these years!) and missed recording CS! GRRR! I for one will have to set the recorder for 2-3 hrs. at a time to capture it.

Dueña looks fantastic. I'm all tied up in Dinero (ha! if only that were literal) but will have to squeeze Dueña into my schedule too.
However, since there's a need, I'd be willing to recap the first hour of Dinero once Gancho ends. NOT on Fridays though. Any day but that.
Of course, if someone has a burning desire to recap Horazo Salvaje (hora-azo: a punch/strike from the late hour), no one should stop them. But no one should feel obligated to do it. That's too much. A translation of the Esmas summary is plenty. Any reader who thinks it should be covered is welcome to step up and recap. Put your money where your mouth is.
As for Dinero, it already has that unfilled day, and the comments are mighty, mighty sparse. I can't blame any Dinero recapper who says, "I'll recap the first hour, but not the second." Or, "I'll cover both hours, but don't be surprised if I write only one sentence per scene." You committed to one hour per week. It's not fair to EXPECT you to double your work.
Okay, I know I've been harsh. Go ahead and throw the tomatoes. I brought my raincoat. Again, Melinama, I'm NOT talking to you. It's obvious that you're not asking this from your recappers.
Floresdeazul, I think Pecadora is on at 12:00 noon (they said (12 MD, which is mid-day,). I'm not positive about this, but that would allow CS to continue at 12 MN.
"In other news, my favorite actor mentioned me on his Twitter page. Cool beans!"
Congratulations! May I ask who he/she is? :-)
I agree with you. I used to recap Rome and Firefly, and after the 16th week I felt like my brain dried out. I don't know how caray recappers manage to accomplish their mission, because for me it always took almost a day to write a long and funny summary of an episode. So I raise my hat to the recappers, because it's a very hard job. Especially as they can't use subtitles or close captions.
On the other hand, I'm sorry for these changes, and I enjoy Circo salvaje recaps very much. If I was a native English speaker I'd happily join the team, but my lack of grammar and vocabulary foils my wishes. :-) However, if anyone wants to quit recapping, the esmas summaries will be good enough for us, I think there are readers who'd fill in the gaps.
Thank you for the great job, people.
And I'm totally grateful to all of them and Melinama for keeping this site alive.
Aribeth, you're selling yourself short! I've been reading your comments for awhile now, and I'd never have guessed you weren't a native English speaker if you hadn't said so.

Did you read the Friday recaps? We were discussing that.

The trouble with our spreading our resources (ie recappers) all over the known spanish-language tv universe is that it's hard to keep things covered. Yes, JudyB, our biggest need at the moment is Monday nights on Dinero. I don't know how long this 2-hour baloney is supposed to go on. So JudyB are you game? If so - starting when?? Thanks!
I think current CS folks who want to bail - and Gancho people who are about to lose their show - get first dibs on the new Boss-Lady show.
I have been a sub on Gancho. I am going to try to twist Sylvia's arm to share with me (after she returns from her trip) if that works for you.
I am still interested in Soy Tu Duena.

So really their only choice was to double up their good show. CS was getting second-best ratings, with all five episodes in the Nielsen Hispanic Top Ten and all episodes more than 3 million.
But that apparently doesn't cut it any more in this post-apolcapytic ratings world. Essentially the same thing happened to Pasión a couple years ago, and they didn't see the need to make such a drastic move.
But it happened to Gancho first, as far as I can tell. So, I don't think it's just a CS thing.
Found out last night that it looks like one another (English-language) show I like is getting the axe altogether. This has been a fun week already.
It sounds like consensus of the C2 crowd and Dear Blog Queen Melinama are okay with bagging CS as far as full regular recaps are involved. I will lurk in the comments, this community is way too amusing and endearing to abandon. I can also be available later this summer for substitute recapping of any of the prime time shows that remain front line here on CarayCaray.
I think I am also going to try and stick it out with CS. But also, I'd be willing to give recapping a try if there any nights, or shared nights, of CS that aren't covered. I should say though that I follow the episodes on youtube now as I've moved a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately I don't get Univision any more. But I really enjoy this board and reading all the recaps (even though I am mostly lurking and rarely post), so I am sticking with the show. :)

Floresdeazul -- like Hombre said, Pecadora will be airing at Noon (east coast time) on Univision.
Connie and Paula -- I started the discussion on colungateam.com about the abbreviation for the very reason that Paula noted. My friend Liliart suggested STUD. So, we need to thank her for this.

Paula: :-DDDDD
Ay, thanks for the information. Jaime is a sweetheart, I can symphatize with you.
Also, I'm confused about all of the changes. Is CS moving to midnight?
I also wonder if they care about what the viewing audience thinks.
I haven't watched Dinero but am sure as soon as I start, it will be yanked to yet another unwatchable time! :)
Thanks to all the recappers who are managing to stay with all the moves and inconvenience - we appreciate all of you!

The closed caption problems tell me the same thing. The president of Uni would find it very unsatisfactory if he had to rely on auditory input from NBC, CBS, ABC or the rest that was delayed by up to two minutes in coming. That's what deaf viewers of the live captioned telenovelas with less experienced captioners are getting.
This weekend, I hosted a national conference where we used court reporters for captioning. They were virtually on the nose with what the speakers said, minute by minute, for five days. I was very pleased. It was English, but the same process.
I may be compelled to write a letter of complaint to the FCC about the captions, but also to the president of Univision (who doesn't speak Spanish much) to express my dissatisfaction. I bought a DVR and extra Spanish channels on my cable in order to watch their stuff.
