Oh I wish I had time to do this episode justice. Thank heaven for the witty discussion!

The Flintstone Plotline

• The gals show up at Zoe's. While there, Sabrina slimes on FFFFF and Isa sees it. Later, Ssssabrina slimes on Fer and Zoe sees.
• The next day the three Caballeros Tarados fret over the Hobag Conundrum. Every once and a while Fer talks some sense: "better to tell the truth ourselves than to let Sabrina talk." That idea gets shot down every time. They think a payoff will work. Dumba$$es.
• Manny asks Fer if she can fire Ssssabrina. He gives the go ahead. Sssabrina gets pithed and tells him he has until tomorrow to decide to give her her job back or she's blabbing.
• Isa confronts FFFFF while Zoe confronts Fer.
• Everyone leaves work early. Susy wonders if anyone around the constructora works.
• Isa confronts Ssssabrina. Ssssanbrina admits to sleeping with FFFFF (it was just a simple "acostón; un chiste rapitín" she argues.) Isa swears on her mother that if Sssabrina keeps it up she will pay and  cry lágrimas de sangre.
• Zoe confronts Ssssabrina. See above. Zoe doesn't go the tears of blood route. She goes the Slap the Ho route.

No EWM or Horny today. It's a Labor Day miracle.

Sabrina continues to try to sink her claws into Fernando. She thinks that Cecilio is suspicious and attempts to keep him from thinking that she is up to no good and foiling her plans.

Lucia comes to the raffle which really raises Willy's spirits (PS: Cockatoo #1 is named Narciso--Nacho.) Jaibo skulks about watching Juancho.

Jorrible survives the horse ride (darn.) Isa and Jorrible have dinner with Sarita and Leo. Jorrible smarms about how he likes family living. Isa takes Jorrible for a walk around the property. She remembers the day with Nando at the poza de manantial (spring/swimming hole) aka la cama cósmica. While they are out, Fernando calls. Leo starts to tell him off for not being supportive, but Sarita takes the phone and tells Fernando to stop bothering her daughter.

Willy attempts to sing Amorcito Corazón while he dances with Lucía. Sor Pilar interrupts to tell Lucía about some thing she went to in Canadá and that it's an excellent opportunity to get support/talk about the casa hogar. Sor Pilar will talk to the obispo mañana about Lucía representing the casa hogar (did Sor Pilar acutally say what it was?? I've watched it twice and I don't think I caught it...even with the Spanish CCs.)

Juancho tries to break up with Barf. She talks him out of it. They go back to her place so she can "get a sweater." She suggests they take advantage of the empty house. He shuts her down. Woot.

Moncho wins the car. The crowd is not pleased. The CC's provide me with a new vocab word: abucheos-booing and jeering. They all think it was a trick.

Sabrina goes to visit the oh so happy Zoe and FFFFF. Fernando's call interrupts the social call and FFFFF has to go. He's nervous as hell. When the two gals are alone, Sabrina starts to discuss Ceci and her negative feelings about him. Zoe staunchly defends him and Sabrina asks "what gives?" Zoe tells all about her night with Cecilio.

Jaibo beats up Juancho, takes pics with his phone and sends them to Knuckles.

At the club, FFFFF convinces Fernando to take the 3 Marías, go to the ranch and get Isa.

At departamento de los Lobo, all the girls are playing a board game with Knuckles. Marifer wants to play with Knuckle's phone. He hands it over and Marifer sees the pictures Jaibo sends. She announces to the room that Kunckle has just received some horrible pictures and it looks like Juancho. Marisilly demands an explanation aaand FIN! (Don't you know Knuckles will slime out of it somehow?)

EWM continues to throw herself at Fer, who is horrified by her.  She continues her crazy plans to harm Isa since her Fer plan failed.  She gets more potion from the witch, puts it in Isa’s coffee and thankfully Zoe throws it out.  

Zoe, always believing the worst in based on the traumatizing demise of her marriage, knows Fer reciprocates EWM’s feelings.  She has lunch w/Lucia and is shocked about the latter’s return to the convent.  Unfortunately they fight about Lucia’s decision.  OK, I know Zoe had a bad marriage and is currently in a bad relationship but to listen to part of a conversation with a known bad guy and come away thinking the bad person is Fer.  You know both your friend and Fer have problems every other day so do you really want to contribute to the next problem?  She does confront Fer and they work things out but Zoe really needs to take every down about 1000.

Willy takes over Katrina’s business.  Friends, even without rIcky and Horny gunning for him, this can end badly as Willy doesn’t seem to have business acumen.  Add to this Moncho warning about putting the money in a safer place and Willy pooh, poohing the idea. 

Beba and Gabino go to lunch; TNs often have the best food!  They are still cute and I hope the writers don’t break them up.  She finds out about the robbery at Horny’s and visits the witch.  La bruga (btw, this is Horny not the true witch who is assisting EWM trying to kill our main couple) doubts the sincerity of her only friend’s concern.

rIcky slimes back into his mom, who foolishly believes her son has reformed.  Naturally once at the house he sees where the money is hidden.

Sabrina gets EWM to hire her so her revenge plan, trying to seduce Fer, is set motion.  My hope here is that EWM realizes her plan and takes Sabrina the traitor out w/her pharmacy.

Lucia comes to the office and Fer sees her monja vestments.  Like Zoe, her uncle, and the mother superior, oh and Willy, he tries talk her out of it and she won’t listen.  At this point the tonterias of Zoe and Lucia make Isa seem reasonable.

Let me if I've missed something and enjoy your Tuesday!

Lunes

Willie and Lucia break up seemingly for good.  The other mother superior, we’ll call her MSB because she’s bad, encourages Lucia w/her decision to the convent (I think).  Later in the episode, creepy music plays when MSB continues to push Lucia toward the nunnery.  Willie is crushed by her decision and follows the galan ritual of getting drunk as a skunk in order to forget her.

Sabrina meets EWM while the latter is upset b/c she’s stupid and surprisingly can’t run a company.  Unfortunately it appears Sabrina journey to the dark side is almost complete.  How don’t you know you are becoming the cheerleader for Satan’s handmaiden?  By the end of the episode she leaves the apt and gets Fer to help with her bags.

Fer wants to get his co-padres to get Isa to come back based on her contract but Cecilio can’t initially find a loophole.  Fer tells Isa she can’t go because she owes him the money from her father’s surgery.  Thankfully Suzie and Zoe realize he’s doing it to get her back but because TN writers often delight in making protagonists as dumb as possible Isa continues to act so stupid I want to FF.  The rest of the episode involves Fer and Isa playing childish games. 

Doris feeling guilty about the break-up and gets Fer to give her extra money which she will use to house Mayela

Today I head back to work full-time (*sob*) so I won't be able to get the recap done until much later this evening. Since the prime time recaps will probably already be up by that time, I'm scheduling this post to publish at it's usual time so as not to take up any homepage space later. I'll put today's recap in the comments.

Feel free to discuss today's happenings. (In other words: forewarn me if EWM and Horny do something awful.)

ANOTHER FABULOUS RECAP BY KAREN :-)
I’ve consolidated the action so its not in the order we saw it. Let me know if I’ve completely or slightly misunderstood anything.

Isa grabs Wigsy, the police arrive, and thankfully arrest her. At the police station, Gimme refuses to tell where Leo is. To our horror, poor Leo is in a ditch and moaning.

Lucia visits Zoe and is worried about Willy (his operation, she’s in denial about being concerned about him). She admits she’s grossed out by what she overhead Beba and Horny saying in regard to Willie. They go to lunch and meet up w/Sabrina, who tells Lucia what Zoe told her early no man is perfect and Willy loves her.

Poncho goes on his blind date w/Mayela. Things appear to be going well, she gives him a cake and since we know he loves food he’s ecstatic. He then realizes she’s 14 months pregnant (he actually says 14 which is pretty funny) and leaves w/the cake, of course. Later he goes to Fer’s to find Doris for a hug. He tells her about his “date” and I’m concerned there may be another baby kidnaping based on the look in her eyes. Doris wants to get that baby and pass it off as her own. Though the end result is a lie, I hope they ask for the baby and don’t steal it (even though Mayela will be a horrible mother and we know is willing to sell her child)

Willy wakes from surgery and has a nice dream about being married to Lucia and them having a baby girl. When he actually wakes, he asks about Tuqueque. Meanwhile, Lala and her co-madre are talking badly about Beba quite loudly (icky Horny is there too). Lucia finally goes to the hospital. Willy has been asking for her and Lala urges Lucia to see her son as she can see him later in the day. The family gets the good news that both patients are doing well. As Lucia approaches the door to Willy’s room Horny is there. Willy is drugged and is asking for Lucia, Horny never states who she is and keeps pawing our hero. In typical TN style, once Horny realizes Lucia is there, she kisses him to Lucia’s and our extreme displeasure.  Naturally Lucia leaves, running into the abuelas as she leaves. They notices she was acting odd but attribute it to Willy. Unfortunately they don’t know Horny is the true vampire not Beba. Willy talks w/his mom and she tells him about Lucia’s visit. He calls her and she thinks he’s in love w/Horny; Seriously, Lucia. When Horny visits him she asks why he is trying to get back w/Lucia; WITCH. He tells her regardless of their “agreement” he loves Lucia and will handle the situation in his own way. She reminds of their contract and how she will act crazy if he crosses her; Again I say, WITCH!

Doris, EWM and the two younger Mari’s are playing kiddie cards. Minnie returns and wonders what is burning in the kitchen. She reprimands Doris and EWM for trying to cook. The girls say they were dying of hunger and Minnie will make them some good grub (as oppose to whatever dear Doris was attempting to cook). EWM gets offended by Minnie, yeah, and goes to find Fer & Isa. Doris tells her the wrong way to go to find them.

Maristupid chats w/Knuckles, who telling her his life as a child (which is most likely a big ol’ lie).

Fer & Isa go to the ranch to look for her father. Sarita arrives just as the two are about to leave taking horses with them. I’m surprised Fer rides horses, he’s a city-sliker. What’s funny is that Diego is clearly pretending he cannot ride. The search party actually finds Gimme’s lover and to distract them he scares Fer’s horse. By nightfall they find Hector who tells them where he last saw Leo. Of course by the time they get there Leo is gone. Thankfully an older couple has found him and is taking care of him; this scene is a flashback to CME when Jero got found. Leo actually speaks and asks for his daughter. At the end of the episode, Hector is in police custody and keeps claiming he doesn’t know where Leo is. Isa & Fer vow to keep looking for him.

Ricky wants his antiques friend to speed up the restoration. When Ricky brings the artifact to Jorrible’s henchman, the latter refuses to pay Ricky for the work.

EWM goes to Jorrible’s and she tries to get a rise out of him by telling him Isa & Fer are together. He calls her on her obsession w/Fer and she leaves in a huff. Tomorrow - Isa & Fer might actually make a love connection.

Capítulo 74
Totally Tuqueue
The secret is out and practically everyone knows Ricky is really Tuqueue's daddy. Too bad Ricky has no heart. He continues to refuse to help. Ricky gets into a fight with Lala (who throws him out) and Moncho (who vows that if Willy isn't compatible, he will make Ricky give up a kidney.)

To make matters worse, the foundation will only pay 30% of the hospital costs. Willy will try to sell his car, but the Lala has the bright idea to ask Hoity Toity Horty for a loan. Hoity Horty agrees, but when she finds out Willy is to be the organ donor, she tells Willy she won't pay if he's the donor. It's too dangerous.

HH at HS
After Manny accuses HH of not loving  her, the two ladies head to 'Nando's office. HH announces she's handing over all plenos poderes (full powers) to Manny to act as her representative. Manny is thrilled, but Horty warns her not to get cocky and not make any decisions without her say so. 'Nando assures Isa that Manny will NOT be Isa's boss

Gimmie and Leo
Gimmie is pithed. Not only is Leo alive, he's staying with Sarita. Gimmie and her lawyer get a  court order to have "custody" of Leo given to Gimmie. They go to Isa's and take Leo.

Other Developments

• Knuckles has concocted this plan to keep away for awhile but leave clues about Marisol in his room so when Dad begins to worry, he'll call Marisol. The plan being once Marisol finds out that Knuckles has been gone a few days, she'll worry. She does and she calls Knuckles. Jaibo answers the phone and says he found it in a ditch.
• Ceci tells Zoe he still loves her.
• Mayela continues to irk me. She took money that was supposed to be for water then she grifted Beba telling her that they needed stuff for the house, but Lucia would get mad if they took money from Beba. I think Beba is about to become Mayela's personal cash cow.
• Isa runs into Rubén in a restaurant. HE'S A DAD!!! HE'S FINE!! THERE'S NO CURSE!! (Then why are there so many episodes left?)
• Beba receives a reply to her online dating profile. He's a fan of poetry and wants a poem and a picture.

RECAP BY KAREN. PLEASE DIRECT ALL PRAISE TO THIS AWESOME GAL!

Hello all.  This is my first attempt at recapping so please excuse the errors you will find in interpretation and punctuation.  I have been too afraid to do this but this show has me hooked and I wanted help dear Sara and her dedication to this an afternoon show.  Please note the recap isn’t completely chronological in order of events.  Thanks for your patience.

Fer & Isa make up and seem to be making headway towards the bedroom but, of course, poor Sarita wakes up and comes in and the they stop.  He wakes up later on the couch and she gives him  coffee.  This lovey-dovey tone continues at work (he comes into her office singing of love) and then Zoe shares her info that, of course, breaks up our lead couple again.

Horty visits Willie at his house and Lala is there.  Horrible Horty (HH) keeps propositioning Willie about her job opportunity.  Since Lala is concerned about money, neither Ricky nor Willie are employed, she keeps encouraging Willie to take the job.  She also mentions Tuqueque’s situation.  Willie finally accepts but I think we all know this is probably a bad business decision on his part.  Watch for his reaction after he and HH shake on the deal; he holds his hand like he has just gotten cooties.

Ricky falls in w/his old colleagues and gets a job from Jorrible.  The crime boss gives him a cell and camera.  My guess is that Ricky is to take pictures of either Willie or Fer.  I wasn’t able to determine if Ricky & Jorrible had be associates previously but I got that vibe.

Juancho gets works and get tested to see if he is compatible w/Tuqueque.  We get a nice PSA about the importance of organ donation.  I also think the organization will assist financially with the operation (but let me know if I just made that up).

After Isa tearfully breaks up with Fer again (we should keep a running count of the break-ups, perhaps per episode), she cries to Zoe.  Evil Witch Manny (from now on EWM) comes in sharing about her night of passion with Cecilio.  Zoe & Isa attack her about the almost kiss and EWM drags them both the Fer’s office.  In Fer’s office, EWM plays the victim b/c Fer didn’t actually kiss her.  Since this is a TN everyone (Isa, Zoe, F5) believes her.  He apologizes for this “misunderstanding” b/c he doesn’t want this to affect his relationship w/her or her with his daughters.

F5 & Zoe go to lunch where she rants about Fer being an idiot, who is causing her friend to suffer.  She is able to tell the stupid short guy is expecting his child when a pregnant passes by their table and he comments about that pregnancy destroys women’s skin.

Sarita gets a call from Lucio, a worker/foreman at their ranch, b/c he can’t get in contact w/Isa’s father.  She goes by Leo’s.  He doesn’t answer as he’s drugged and G-mina shows up.  She insults Sarita and lies that Leo is at the ranch.   Sarita leaves wondering where poor Leo is.  G-mina shoves more drugs into Leo but thankfully he does not shallow them.  

Jorrible comes by Isa’s office later and b/c of stupidity (under the guise of a broken-heart) she goes out to lunch dinner.  She tells Suzie she’s going to lunch and Jorrible adds she won’t be coming back after lunch.  I hate his presumption and she plays into it by leaving w/him. Later Sarita goes to the office to find Isa, who has gone out to lunch w/Jorrible.  Zoe calls them and Sarita returns to G-mina’s w/Fer while Isa heads there with Jorrible.  Isa forces Fer to leave while the leech continues to suck all logic from Isa’s brain.  Thankfully G-mina answers the door and Isa & Sarita find poor Leo in his almost comatose stand.  And in a true break from TN convention, an ambulance is called and arrives so quickly. I’m shocked.  Fer rushes in behind the stretcher and is able to console Isa.  Jorrible is left to bring G-mina to the hospital (ha, ha).

Suzie overhead Sarita state that Zoe was pregnant so naturally she congratulations F5.  He then goes to Zoe to ask why she hasn’t told him.  Earlier when Zoe is telling Sarita why she hasn’t told F5 he’s a father, Sarita calls him an idiot for all the things he’s been saying about babies and pregnant women.  Unfortunately she gives Zoe the hope that many men act stupid like this until they have a child of their own.  Honestly do we think F5 is going to have that revelation; if I were a betting person I’d put ALL my money on no. Oh goodie I’m right.  F5 is acting like a jerk and surprise, he and Zoe get in a fight.  F5 tells Cecilio Zoe is preggers and he runs out to find her.  Naturally she doesn’t answer the phone but thankfully he finds her crying near Isa’s apt (inside).  He takes her to his house.  Meanwhile, F5 is at his favorite bar and runs into Zoe’s ex, Alvaro  Surprise, they get in a fight.  The next morning Fer comes by Cecilio and find Zoe there.  Awkward! 

Waiting-Room drama: Isa and Sarita know the person responsible for Leo is G-mina. Leo has had a cerebral vascular accident and now is in a coma.  G-mina smiles at the info while all the others (Isa, Sarita, Fer & Jor) look concerned.  Jor hugs Isa expressing condolence and she leaves the leech to hug Fer.  G-mina tries to insert herself (is she married to Leo legitimately?  My guess is no b/c he keeps trying to change his will) as Leo’s woman.  Isa and Sarita see him first.  I hope G-mina isn’t able to kill him when she gets her visit.  Our last scene is Sarita catching G-mina talking to Hector (her boyfriend/accomplice) saying she wishes Leo would die as he’s just a dead vegetable now.  Sarita slaps her.

I've lost track of what chapter we're on. Was today 54 and 55??

'Nando, Isa and Manuela
Manuela and Ceci  crash a celebratory dinner thrown by Zoe (who's living with Felipe now.) Manuela proposes a toast to her new job at 'Nando's company. 'Nando drops the "I'm not hiring you" bomb. Manuela runs off to the bathroom to freak out. Ceci and Felipe think 'Nando was harsh. Zoe was fine with it.  Manuela spends the rest of the episode playing emotional blackmail. In a flashback we find out that she does have a history of deep depression and trastornos emocionales (emotional disorders) and that she feels like Sofia "took what was hers"; however, IMHO she is faking it for most of this episode. Because of Manuela's history, Horty is able to guilt 'Nando into hiring her (Isa helps to guilt him into it when she hears about Manuela's past and how much Manuela's disorder intruded on his marriage.) Manuela also plays Ceci like a Stradivarius.

Willy, Lucía and Beba
Beba continues to dream of her wedding with Willy. Horty tells Jorge about this "wedding" and her concerns that Beba is being taken advantage of. Willy calls it off with Beba and tells him he's madly in love with another woman. This breaks Beba's heart and she hits him with a vase and knocks him out. He recovers quickly. Willy really did seem repentant...thoughts? Opinions?

Later, Beba goes to visit Lucia. Willy also visits Lucia and tells her he wants to introduce her to his mom as his pre-novia. Beba overhears Lucia and Willy talking marriage (Lucia talks him into waiting and he respects that.) Beba gets very upset and in heart attack moment #1 Viewerville thinks Beba is going to tell all. She doesn't. Lucia, still misreading the situation tells Beba that true love will come knocking on her door one day.

Willy goes to Beba's house again and begs forgiveness again. Beba says she'll forgive him IF he confesses his past to Lucia. Willy says he will, but by the end of the episode he still hadn't.

Barbell (Thanks, Julia!), Marisogullible and Knuckles
Barbell is hanging out with Knuckles and talking to Mari-so-dumb on the phone.  She is still feeding Mari-so-pitiful the ol' "Juancho is still pithed" line of bull. Barbell swears she'll keep working on behalf of Mari-so-stupid. Barbell hangs up and tells Kuckles she's doing her part to keep them apart, what is Knuckles contributing? I can't remember what he said and I forgot to make a note.

Jorge the Tool
Makes his mother think he'll be staying a little longer 'cause he loves her, but really it's just to keep his nose in her business. Jorge gets his thugs to kidnap Willy. They bring him to a secret location. Jorge threatens Willy's family and then the thugs beat Willy up and leave him in the dirt. After this little chore, Jorge heads to Isa's for a late night visit. He tells her how worried he is about people taking advantage of his mother. The next day he sends flowers to Isa's office. Can we say d*****bag on this blog?

Leo and G-mina
G-mina has decided to give Leo his tranquilizante* every 6 hours instead of every 8. Leo spends the rest of the episode loopy and sounding drunk. G-mina's plan is to get him to sign documents which I assume will give her all the money. He manages to call Isa and slur to her, but G-mina catches him and hangs up. Isa rushes over, convinced that something is up. G-mina had Leo hidden in, you guessed it....the closet. This was definitely not funny.
*would mean tranquilizer or anti-anxiety med? Pharmacist hub and I discussed this and he thinks with high blood pressure an anti-anxiety would be prescribed. Are we expecting too much of the TN medical community?

Heart attack moments #2 and #3
There was a scene with Lucia and Reina (and Reina's MC Hammer pants) and they were looking at a house with a Realtor. I missed exactly what Lucia said, but the Realtor seemed to indicate that Lucia's word was good as gold. Feel free to fill in my blanks, but I got a "something is going to go wrong" vibe. Heart attack moment #2 was when Lucia called Beba while she was eating lunch with Jorge. I thought for sure Beba was going to go back on her word (Heart attack #2 and how silly of me! Beba would never do that.) Then I thought for sure Jorge was going to be a putz about the money (Heart attack #3.) So far he's not.

The That's So Creepy Award goes to...
Whoever obliterated the "de Lobo" from Sofía's tombstone. Who could have possibly done that???

The Hubba Hubba Award goes to...
For the scene when Willy takes off his shirt for some medical care from Lucia. It ends in a kiss that is interrupted by Lala. I laughed out lout when Willy tried to cover himself.

Now the episode. Things felt a little slow today, but Willy continues to make me laugh.
The big events in a nutshell:

• Horty and Manuela are still clawing at each other. Horty wants Manuela to leave, and Manuela wants to stay. Horty thinks the threat of telling 'Nando about Manuela's involvement in Sofia's death will keep Manuela in line. Manuela thinks there is a flaw in that reasoning. Won't 'Nando get mad a Horty for withholding the truth about Sofia's death?
• I missed a very important conversation between Ceci and Felipe. It seems Felipe has a history with Manuela/has always had the hots for her. What was the bit about the tattoo? 
• Cecilio gets Moncho and Juancho freed from jail. There were no fingerprints on the M&Ms, so it couldn't have been their property.
• Babs continues to be a threat. She makes moves on Juancho, but he resists. I think he knows what's going on and is a little creeped out by it (I may be projecting.)
• Sor Ernestina thinks Lucia should leave the habit for a while to get her feelings straight. Willy is over the moon because now he thinks he and Lucia can be together. Lucia doesn't think so. We finally get to see Lucía looking like a knockout. 'Nando asks Lucía to stay at his place while he's in Puerta Vallarta.
• There's a dinner party from hell. Felipe and Zoe invite Isa, 'Nando and Cecilio over to dine...and so Ceci can meet Zoe. Ruh roh. It isn't pretty. Felipe is kept in the dark, but Zoe confesses to Isa that Ceci is her ángel and Ceci confesses to 'Nando that Zoe is his "estupida suicida." Ceci is going to back off. He even tells Felipe he wants to dissolve the partnership (?) and move away from the DF.
• Guillermina makes up stories about robbery(?) She still needs money to keep the PI on the case. She decides to sell a ring and puts Héctor (her lover?) in charge of getting a good price. Ha ha, Héctor sells the ring to Jaibo's woman and then tells Guillermina he was robbed! 
• Did I hear correctly? Did Manuela actually tell Marifer that the asthma was all in her head?????  Seriously dangerous.
• 'Nando overhears a phone conversation and flips his lid. (He really needs to chill.) Marisol enlists her little sisters' help in seeing  Juancho. While the family and Mine are away, Juancho comes to call and they start making out pretty heavily....and Isa walks in.

The first hour

• Isa decides it is for the best if she and 'Nando break up. She doesn't want to be to blame for the break-up of his family.
• Leo gets angry that 'Nando made Isa cry. The two go off to share a few drinks. 'Nando opens up about his situation with Doris, but swears Isa is the one for him. Both Leo and 'Nando talk about their fear of being alone. Leo admits he regrets leaving Sarita. (Meanwhile Sarita explains to Zoe that once a love is broken, it's never the same. Zoe looked pensive.) Leo asks 'Nando to keep their little chat secret.
• Willy makes his way to the archbishop's office and takes the blame for the *ahem* campaign for prevention.
• Mother Superior tells Lucía to take a vow of silence. Lucía starts wearing a dry erase board. "NO ME HABLES. VOTO DE SILENCIO." Mother Superior is not amused, but allows Lucia to use it for emergencies.
• Cecilio visits FFFFF in the hospital. FFFFF tells him about kissing Zoe. FFFFF tells Cecilio to call Zoe (not sure on the details.) He does but Zoe hangs up since she doesn't recognize the voice. FFFFF calls right back and explains it was his buddy Cecilio. For his part Cecilio seemed to recognize Zoe's voice.
• *sigh* Horty and Marisnot. Marisnot is Marisnot and wants to leave the house, but Mine stops her since that's what 'Nando wanted. Marisnot calls Horty who rushes to her aid. As they are leaving the run into Isa who tells them she is breaking up with 'Nando...right when he walks up. Horty and Marisnot don't really believe her and they flounce off. 'Nando tells Isa he loves her enough to fight the odds and eventually talks her out of breaking up. (The kissing is still "meh" in my book. Have I mentioned that I now think both Diego and Elizabeth are culpable? They only have chemistry if they DON'T kiss.)
• Guillerma nags Leo. He has some sort of attack. (Maybe the vapors?)
• Jazmín and Reina get busted by Padre...but he lets her stay.
• Doris comes to visit 'Nando and brings gifts for the girls. A perfectly times gastric gurgle makes Merifer think she felt the baby move. While Doris is there she finds out abut 'Nando's plan to take Isa out. Doris texts Poncho and tells him to do something to sabotage the evening.

Capítulos 24 and 25 (Thanks for the correction on Fridays episodes, Cap'n Sylvia!)
Today's episode was brought to you by the phrase "salir con su domingo siete" (to get knocked up; Many thanks for Julia for pointing out this saying. They said it a lot today!)
The Main Events:

• Doris barges into Isa's office and announces she's pregnant...and she has the lab results to prove it!
• Fernando, being the intelligent galán that he is (excluding the Poncho business), finds it mighty interesting that Doris makes this announcement right when things are heating up with Isa. He drags Doris to a clinic and demands a blood test. Doris talks him into a urine test, too. Fernando is super smart and even tries to stop Doris from taking her purse into the bathroom!
• Alas, it is all for naught. Doris fakes a dizzy spell and gets herself alone with the lab tech/nurse and bribes her into faking the blood test. So Fernando now believes Doris is pregnant (though he still can't figure out how since both of them were careful.)
• Luckily, Fernando refuses to marry Doris. In anger, Doris calls the 3 Marías and blabs. They are inconsolable. So is Isa. Poor Fernando, he hitched his wagon to a crazy donkey. 
• Doris is officially off my list of likable characters.

Slap dash recap of the first hour (*le sigh*)
Part I
Either my DVR can't tell time or Looneyvision has struck again because my recording started right off with Juancho and Willy in the Pinzón living room. What happened to where we left off Friday? Isa was beating on Fernie's car window. Oh well.

• So Isa shows up and picks up Marilechuga from school. The Mother Superior gets snippy. Marilechuga tells her Isa is her friend and neighbor so *nyah*
• New character alert! Duqueque (sp?) A cute little chamaco who's mom abandoned him (?) I kind of missed most of his history. Help anyone?
• Beba's son continues to give her a hard time about Willy.
• There's an impromptu birthday costume party for Marilechuga. Lucía gets the sexy cat woman suit...meow!

Please forgive me everyone. I got way behind this week and I sped through the chapters, so I may have missed everything a few things.


Main Events:

• Marisol goes to find her destiny (Juancho) while her destiny goes to the DF to find his destiny (Marisol.) Marisol sees Juancho getting on a bus and after coming home is convinced her amor is  in the DF. Juancho arranges for a radio station to help him look for his media naranja. No one listens to the radio except Juancho.
• Fernando tells Isa that Poncho was bragging about taking her virginity. Isa never wants to see Poncho again.
• Isa and Fernando's hijas become buddies.
• Hortensia accuses Isa and Fernando of being lovers and later gets Isa fired. Too bad Isa thinks it's Fernando's fault. Isa plans to get work in her carrera: Architecture.
• Willy finds out Lucía is a monja and wants to win her over (I guess he loves a challenge.) He has lots of scenes and I understand 5% of what he says. There's the schtick in the priest's robe and then some rather kinky shenanigans with Lucías stolen habit. ¿Hay alguien que me puede ayudar?
• Doris, a former fling of Fernando's arrives in the DF...much to Fernando's dismay. She teams up with Poncho to make trouble for Isa. 

Other Events:

• Beba and Hortensia look for Willy and get robbed.
• Cecilio has it bad for Zoe.
• Álvaro and Zoe are getting divorced. I think Zoe's divorce lawyer is a creep. Does Álvaro get everything because of the prenup?
• Isa's dad pays the bill for mom's home. Dad's girlfriend is a beech. Isa's mom has a relapse. Dad and mom are not officially divorced.
• Zoe wants to work.
• Hortensia starts classes with Willy tomorrow (you know, just to protect her friend.)

Everyone is related:

• Lucía is Fernando's sis.
• Willy is Bárbara's brother and they are both Juancho's cousin. Willy and Bárbara's mom, Lala, is giving sewing lessons at the church.
• Juancho is Marisol's "amor."
• Bárbara is Marisol's new-found friend.
• Hortensia is Fernando's suegra.
• Isa is Marisol's teacher.
• Beba is very involved with the folks at the school and can arrange a meeting between the principal and Hortensia.
• Did I miss anything?

Isa's last name is Cordero (Lamb) and Fernando's last name is Lobo (Wolf.)

A joke I didn't get:
novata/novicia: I assume a play on novata (as in innocent/green/inexperienced) and novicia (novitiate)

Since it's premiere week, almost anything you need to know can be found at the Univision Amorcito Corazón site. There is also the official esmas site...but one always runs the risk of spoilers. It looks like this one will have a long run. It premiered in Mexico in August 2011 and is just now entering its Últimos Capítulos.

I am going to assume that really we don't need a full recap. I tried to distill the first 3 chapters into a super quick run-down, but as you know with TN opening episodes, there is a montón of characters/events. I don't think I was very successful. I don't plan on making these weekly posts so long, so thanks for bearing with me this week.
The Bare Bones
Capítulos 1-3

• Isabel (Elizabeth Álvarez) isn't lucky at love. It seems there was an unfortunate bull attack at her 18th birthday and her novio got an unfortunate wound. The novio's mom did not take it well and cursed Isabel. Since that day, Isabel has never had a very good birthday.  Isabel is currently dating Poncho (Miguel Ángel Biagio), who strikes me as a jerk. He seems too eager to take Isabel's virginity...and not for romantic reasons. She's a teacher at a local Catholic school.
• Fernando (Diego Olivera) is a widower and single parent to 3 lovely girls and has just moved into Isabel's building. His deceased wife was sweet and good (played by Fabiola Campomanes.) His mother-in-law, Hortensia (Marcaria) is a shrew. His sister-in-law, Manuela isn't much better (also played by Fabiola Campomanes...so Fabiola plays the dead wife and the living twin sister.) Fernando owns a construction/architectural business and there will  be a contest to decide who will be in charge of the next project.  He has two friends: Felipe (Alex Ibarra) and Cecilio (Ricardo Fastlicht.) He catches Isabel playing flirty skirty with an air grate and the two trade insults. Awww, isn't this how all great romances start?
• Isabel is on the outs with her father, but she could use his money to help pay for the not quite manicomio where her slightly loony mother, Sarita lives (played by Silvia Mariscal...and seriously, they have to name the loony one Sarita?) Isabel is a little behind in payments. She tries to sell some jewelry and gets caught up in a robbery. When Fernando interrupts the robbery he ends up in his underwear and duct-taped to our heroine. More insults and hi jinks.
• When Isabel is finally home from her fiasco of a day, Poncho arrives with an iPod serenade (El Gavilán Pollero by Pedro Infante.) It's cute how she thinks it's romantic and not just a ploy to get in her pants. When Fernando comes out to the balcony to complain he very accidentally knocks a flowerpot onto Poncho's head and knocks him out. The authorities get involved and Isabel's telling of the events gets Fernando an evening in jail. It also turns out Poncho is Fernando's employee. After Poncho regains consciousness he returns to the office and mentions suing the guy who threw the flower pot at him. Fernando personally writes a check. 
• Isabel's best friend is Zoe (Grettell Valdez) who is married to Álvaro (Pietro Vanucci) a swell guy...at least she thinks so until she catches him in the shower with another swell guy. She gets a little drunk and announces this to the entire tennis club. Mother in law faints. Later Zoe tries to throw herself off a bridge, but Fernando's buddy Cecilio saves her and they get it on, but she sneaks out the next morning. It was an unforgettable night, but she swears off love forever.
• Willy (Daniel Arenas) is a gigolo and his latest conquest is Beba (Mariana Karr) good friend to Hortensia. Willy gets beat up one day, but Lucía (África Zavala) runs off the thugs by chucking fruit at them. Lucía is sister to Fernando and a novitiate. He is unconscious as he is taken off to the hospital. Lucía cannot go with him as she has been lectured about obedience by her superior officer nun. After he gets beat up, he breaks up with Beba. Later he runs into Lucia who hugs him. He doesn't realize she was the one who saved him. She's also in her civvies, so when he makes a bet with his friends that he can win her over he doesn't realize he's already screwed. According to Willy there are two types of women: Those who love him, and those who haven't met him.
• María Soledad (Renata Notni of LFDD fame) is the oldest daughter of Fernando and the new kid in Isabel's class. Maria Soledad met Juancho in Acapulco, but dad didn't approve. Her new friend Bárbara (Gaby Mellado) encourages Maria Soledad to "borrow" some money from the school graduation fund to find him. A mean girl rats her out. Fernando is called and Isabel is asked to talk to Maria Soledad and the girl confesses why she did it. She claims her father is a controlling lunatic. Isabel knows all about controlling parents since her dad was one, too. She encourages María Soledad to call Juancho. As she does Papá Fernando comes in and the and Isabel are impactados to see each other.

First impressions

• I had some comprehension issues. Is it just me or are the comedies a little harder to understand? I suspect I will miss most of the conversations by the younger characters (Willy, Juancho, María Soledad and Bárbara.)
• I love the opening theme (always a good sign)
• África Zavala is going to be a cutie.
• I love how the Isabel and Fernando characters kept running into each other under ridiculous circumstances.
