Antes muerta que Lichita #17 Wednesday 10/14/15

And the story continues . . .

Roberto and Alicia are outside the motel and are being spied on by the Vidal's (the young couple in the car). Roberto is happy that Alicia is changing: she is not letting Chuchette and Néstor boss her around. Well, it was Roberto who told her to learn to eat or be eaten. She asks how Gumaro is doing and Roberto says his illness is advancing little by little but he does not want to talk about it. They get into the car so Lichita can tell him where to park it. The Vidal's are wondering where they are going. Ángel Vidal says it looks like they are not going in and she looks like a decent girl. Marta Vidal says a decent girl would never be at a place like this. She makes Ángel follow them in their car.

Inside the "meeting room" in the "No tell motel" there is a stripper pole to go along with the red furniture. They all start brainstorming so that they can come up with a proposal that is worth a "10". Braulio wants to go retro, vintage, in black and white; Brisa has some graphics already done; but Luciana and her bad ideas will not be ignored. The idea of "angels" is so boring for her she wants something red hot like "Light your passion on our little cloud mattresses." Roberto cuts off that idea saying how Sandra liked the ideas of angels, seraphims and cherubs. Suddenly from overhead there is the sound of a squeaking mattress and a moving bed that poor Alicia mistakes for some worker hammering away and interrupting their meeting. Néstor and Luciana cannot believe how stupid she is. They all start chuckling. Alicia tells us she could not believe she was that naïve or could she?

Outside, Marta sees someone else go in the room and cannot understand what you call people like that. Her husband says a "threesome". She wants to know how Ángel would know about that. He has just heard about it.

Lo Imperdonable #107 Wed 10/14/15 Computer Malfunction!!!

Hey guys. Bad news. I was literally 2 minutes away from finishing my recap and my laptop shut down on me. I can't believe it. Everything is lost. I can't find it. I am totally upset right now. I will do a summary. Hope you guys understand. Thanks.

SUMMARY
  • New character introduced. Her name is Rebeca Rojo. She is interested in Vero's jewelry collection and in Vero's husband. She makes a good impression on everyone. Turns out Jorge knows her father. After some negotiating she seals the deal and shakes hands on a contract with Emi who is smitten with her. She is smitten with Marty until she finds out from Vero (who thankfully did not take lessons from Pablo) that Marty is married to her. Rebeca makes a date with Marty to talk about remodeling her home. Vero can not go because she has a previous engagement (she's going to meet with Dr. Dan to get the evidence against Ginny).

Yo No Creo en los Hombres: #(66-)67, Wednesday, 10/14/15—MD is Forced to Confront the Monsters in Their Lair

Replay/Refrito: Ursula, Arango and Jacinto discuss their plans to take over Vera Duval and make it even more profitable. Maleny taunts Arango about hanging around Ursula for YEARS, but NEVER bedding her—she calls him and Ursula cold blooded. Arango pulls her into him and wonders if her search for a hot blooded man is what sent her back to Ari’s arms. Jacinto comes in and finds them in this compromising position. In his apartment, Max explains Ivana’s journey back to the light to MD, her willingness to testify against Dan, and the scheme Ursula and Dan proposed to baby-crazy Ivana to give her MD’s baby.

The New/Lo Nuevo:
MD is incredulous that Ivana is really going to help her this time, but soon realizes, as Max explains the baby scheme, that Ursula and Dan were behind everything. “Do you believe that the Santibañez want to take my child from me?”  Max totally misses MD’s use of the present tense in speaking about her child, and once again assures her that Ivana is no longer being driven by her intense desire to be a mother, knows that the existence of MD’s baby was a lie, and will now help their cause.

Claudio comes home, and is about to give Isela flack about her disappearing act. Before he can even start, she freely admits she was with Orlando. Then she lies that Orlando threatened to hire Max as a lawyer and tell him he came to the Bustamante house not to see Isela, but to see Alma to tell her that Isela and Claudio are LOVERS, if they don’t withdraw the charges. Isela assures Claudio that Orlando will keep his end of the bargain because he is no longer in love with her, and is seeing MD’s friend, Doris. She butters Claudio up with some caresses.

Antes muerta que Lichita #16b Tuesday 10/13/15: I made a redundant post but melinama says I should post it anyway!

Hi guys! I'm gonna be new to the Lichita team. I guess there was a mixup and Cece was good enough to post her own recap, so I'm just dropping in here with a few notes!

Lichita is definitely enjoying being more assertive: she gets the grocery store boss to release Elsa's paycheck (but she's not getting hired again... the boss's jackass grandson is mostly in charge now), and later talks the cops out of her home when they come with the furious neighbors to question Magos about her skeevy neighborhood savings scheme.

In a cute aside, Lichita says "God doesn't hear people who don't speak up.... And I'm not shutting up anymore."

Lo Imperdonable #106 Tue 10/13/15 Blanquita Takes Center Stage And Danna Garcia Enters Stage Left.

Hi all. I'm filling in for Princess Juju who is busy with work. I don't have much time this morning to write a full recap so this will have to be highlights / bullet points. Luckily, not that much happened last night and it was rather disappointing given that we are so close to the end. I have always liked Blanquita and she's a sweetheart but last night felt like "The Blanquita Show" with so much focus on her character. Honestly, I felt that time was wasted on her when we could be moving things along. Oh well, we'll just have to go with the flow with what the monkey writers give us.

Annnd now .. it's time for bullet points!

  • Manny flashes back to his nauseating heated make out session with Virginia the previous night. He laments that The Gold Scam was an epic fail and vows to make Remigio pay. I'd hate to be in Rem's shoes.
  • Marty has been worried sick about Veronica who returns home very late. She doesn't tell him where she's been, but she does tell him that she wants to love him and that in order to have peace she'll have show that Virginia has lied and is a murderer. How will she do this? Well, he'll know that tomorrow night. As for tonight .. let the smooches began.

Antes Muerta Que Lichita #16a Tuesday 10/13/15 The Episode Where Lichita Grows Fangs and People Begin to Notice.

Alternative Titles: Magos is completely and utterly hopeless, shameless and useless!

Old: Quick summary of how Lichita quit her job but family problems including Magos caused her to beg for her old job back

. Robert is not happy with the social workers surprise visit. Her expressionless face reveals that the point…. she is not supposed to warn him. Just as Roberto hurriedly excuses them due to work, a family comes by asking to see the model apartment. Gumarro and Roberto are so busted and the social worker is not laughing along with them.  Roberto later runs after her and tells the truth a little too late. The social worker (I really forget her name) lets him know his lies are not making him trustworthy. His actions has consequences and as a result this will make it much harder for him to receive custody.

. Lichita and her mom are happy/grateful with the $$$ they received from the owner. The owner is equally grateful for pulling off the commercial and her commitment to the company. The whole age policy is something he is not content with but in fact it is not really his rule but that of his grandson who makes the majority of the decisions.

Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #36 Tue 10/13/15 (Mex 48) Baby drama

Sorry, Pedro, but the Angeles Empire is more important than you are.  Eloisa's just protecting the fortune.  You might be the "favorite," but that just means you have more responsibility.  If Max could leave his "love" behind for the good of the family, she expects no less from Pedro.  The "right" woman for him is Aitana.

Pedro's still resisting accepting his fate and opts to have Fidel drive him into the city, but not to work.

Lo Imperdonable #105 Mon 10/12/15 Aarón goes free, Manuel gets absolution, and Virginia learns Salma's darkest secret.

Verónica and Martín are exonerated and Prado Castelo is released from the clutches of the crooked Italian

Jorge's face is as flat as ever, but Emi pushes out his lower lip in that bulldog way that says he is unconvinced.  He still thinks Vero could have leaked the information.  She could have had an accomplice inside the corporation – Nicolás or Berta, say, who both had access to her password and whose departures seem suspiciously convenient.  [When did Berta leave, huh, monkeys?  Huh?]

Vero argues that the accusation makes no sense – why would she threaten the success of her own collection?  She offers to show Jorge and Emi her bank accounts to prove that she has no unexplained deposits.  But when the Italian client stops by and yields to Vero's threats to put him in jail as a party to theft of information, it is clear to all that Vero and Marty were uninvolved.  Unfortunately, the client refuses to name Virginia as his real accomplice, but he agrees to adhere to the original contract.  The crops are corporation is saved!

Yo No Creo en los Hombres #65 Lunes 10/12/15

Sorry this is short on detail. There was a problem with the surveillance equipment. I also had to brief a colleague about an upcoming assignment. So today you'll get just the facts. If there were any witnesses to this, we need a few stool pigeons. Thanks.

Chapter 65: Proposals

Doris felt a male hand caressing her in her sleep. She turned over and whispered Orlando's name. Then she opened her eyes and saw Ari standing over her. She had only been dreaming of Orlando. Ari began questioning her about him. She got out of bed and saw that Orlando was not sleeping on the couch. Ari began interrogating her about what she felt for Orlando. She told him she wasn't involved with him and didn't want him either. He finally left the keys and walked out. Orlando came out of the bathroom after Ari was out the door.

Yo No Creo En Los Hombres- Looking for a replacement

Hello all . As you may have noticed I have not been active much regarding No Creo recaps. At the eve of the new semester I have begun experiencing troubles on a personal scale. It has been getting tough to get used to it while following shows at the same time. It's easier and more relaxing watching shows than doing something detailed about  them like writing summaries.
I admit that at first when I began writing it felt short term but then I began learning more and more I realized that you are either on a podium or you are not on a podium at all.

During my short term absence I have been fairly surprised that many people are eager to help me out just to not disappoint our  readers.   .  If you can find anyone willing to do it than I would be most pleased.

Participating  on other projects is very unlikely but I will definitely keep mark of the blog because the people on it are unlike anything I have experienced on the Web. There are many shows getting released that I am looking forward to such as Pasion Y Poder , Gran Hotel, Amor De Barrio and  Corazon Que Miente so I am definitely not out of this world even if it it sounds weird  for a man . I have learned a lot from writing here and have enjoyed it very much.

Yo No Creo En Los Hombres: Capitulo 64 Fri 10/9/15: So Squee worthy!

Hi all. I'm filling in for JdesdeNYC this week. I'll try to edit this down when I've got fresh eyes, but I'm too tired tonight. But I will say YAY!!! So much about this made me SO happy! So much cuteness, so much of what I love to see in a love story, I almost couldn't believe it! So excited! See you guys on the Patio this weekend!

Scenes sometimes merged and out of order etc.

The Rewind: Claudio’s off to help Max b/c Isela told him and Alma that the doctor upgraded Dan’s injuries and that just doesn’t sound right to him. Josefa pushes for Espy and the girls to stay with her rather than Hono and Julian (so that she/Isela can spy on MD for Maleny). Isela tracks Orlando down at Doris's, but this time he’s not buying what she’s selling. MD confronts Daniel and tells him to drop the charges against Max or she’ll raise some against him for arson and rape! He doesn’t think she has the money or legal support to do it, but Claudio offers both.

She presents the police report to the judge stating that it says that the gold from La Morenita was robbed by two individuals from the village and replaced with the fake ingots. At that moment, Virginia gets a call on her cellphone that now magically works in Mina Escondida. It's Emiliano who tells her to cancel the gold order from La Perla because Marty's gold has reappeared. He tells her that the gold was stolen by two miners from Mina Escondida. It isn't the first time that she has done it and now it is costing her. She wants to start a new life free of lies and deception. Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #34 Fri 10/9/15 (Mex 46) ¡Qué estupidez!

Ciao, Muchacha Patio Peeps!  I'm sorry.  I just can't get all exuberant and jubilant or the least bit detailed and verbose about what went down tonight.  Write this down in the annals of Caray Caray!  A short recap by Lila.  I can't even. . .

Pedro and Fiorella reconcile and share kisses and promises in the precarious, flowered row boat of love and decide to announce their betrothal at a family gathering Pedro has called.  Roxi finds out, tells Aitana who tells Eloisa.  The family is all gathered:  Sergio, Sonia, Osvaldo, Freddie, Roxi, Julieta and decrepit Queen Bee insists Aitana come as well.  First, Freddie usurps the meeting to announce Sonia's pregnancy.  Congrats and joy all around.  Osvaldo has to be prompted to hug Sonia after admitting he didn't know.  Through  clenched teeth he whispers to Sonia he will kill her if the baby isn't his.  Pedro and Fiorella had tentatively entered the room but retreat to just outside the living room at this announcement and Fiorella asks Pedro if he thinks it's really Osvaldo's baby.  Pedro says he doesn't know and is thrown totally off whatever game he thought he had.  Sergio insists Pedro congratulate and hug his cousin, Sonia, and he does with his brow all knit and his eyes vacant.  Aitana insists he tells them why he's gathered the family together.

Lo Imperdonable #103 Thu 10/8/15 Vero goes for the gold – and she gets it! Virginia? She doesn't even medal.

Over Crescencio's Dead Body

In the quiet and now nearly abandoned church, Manuel holds the knife aloft, poised to plunge it into his sister's back as she kneels in prayer.  But when he glances up at the image of the Virgen de Guadalupe, he stops, as if his arm is frozen.  He shakes himself slightly and once more prepares to attack.  Then he looks at an image of Jesus; again his hand is momentarily stayed.  But it is only when he looks at the third image – the funeral portrait of Crescencio – that he really seems unable to continue.

Bam! The open panel on Grandpa Goat's coffin slams shut! As Ana Perla turns, startled by the noise, she sees her brother holding a knife and she begs him not to hurt her.   He ignores her pleas.  Instead, he chases her around the coffin, determined to finish what he came to do.   Then he stops to lift up the panel and view his grandfather's face.  His lunatic eyes widen – with what?  with terror?  with horror? – and he backs away.  As he does so, his arm passes into the flames of the candle that burns for Crescencio and he cries out in pain.  Ana Perla takes advantage of the moment to escape.  Manuel stumbles after her into the night.
