Papá a toda madre Wednesday 4/18/18 Capitulo 65: Going Around in Circles --OR--Marching in Place

We pick up with a very sad Flor talking to Milady and telling her how afraid she is of leaving her alone in the world and her father not being able to care for her. Pablo cuts the conversation short looking for Nerón who is throwing out the garbage. It turns out that Pablo has an idea on how to bring more people into the tire shop and make them more money.

As they leave, all of the other guys are getting together to meet about the cooperative but Nerón tells them that he cannot make it because of business at the tire shop. He finally gives in when it turns out to be promised to be only a short meeting. Mauricio introduces them to María Anifer's mother who is there as an advisor. The issue is capital. How much money can each of them bring into the business? Nerón can't bring anything in right now. He has to save every single penny. Jorge gets that but Nerón should look at this like an investment and not an expense. Nerón understands that but he he simply cannot. He has much more serious things to think about. He doesn't know how Jorge can say that anyway. He doesn't have any money either. Jorge admits that things are going badly for him, too. Jorge asks Toño next. Toño jokes but is in the same predicament and with the divorce it is even worse. They all think that Mauricio should have some disposable income since he sold Logatoys. Mauricio is at a loss for words. Jorge defends him by saying that "Mr. López Garza" does not owe them any explanations. Mauricio comes out with the truth. He did not sell the company. He gave it away because of Anifer. He did it so she would not find out that he was not her dad. It is out. The company is history and he has not a peso. Even though Anifer is not his blood, she might as well be because that is how he loves her. María looks at him and is beaming with happiness.

Papa a Toda Madre #64 4.17.2018: Love in the Time of Difficult Decisions

Or How To Avoid Talking About Important Things Starring Mauricio and Renee

At Mauricio’s, Maria is tired of everyone around her trying to tell her what is the best thing to do, including Mauricio and Fabian. Mauricio admits that he has been pushy but warns her that Fabian is not to be trusted, and Renee agrees, and reminds her that he only wants to hurt Anifer. Either way, Maria thinks both he and Fabian are juniors who are used to everyone giving them want they want and using others. She tells Mauricio that she is going to demand him so any rights he has over Anifer are over.

At Tono’s, Tono cooks dinner as Esperanza observes the children. She notes are mature they are being about the divorce and thinks her son and Veronica did an excellent job. Tono thinks it’s about time he received some credit for something and Esperanza asks him to be quiet as Veronica comes and reminds Tono about Ernesto’s therapy. He’s on it and Veronica hands him some documents about her recent research online and asks him to share it with the doctor. Tono thinks her research supports what they already know about the new doctor’s treatment and Veronica nods, frustrated, before leaving. Veronica then says goodbye to her children and Anifer and leave. Once alone in the living, the kids question Anifer about her recently resuscitated mother and Anifer explains that she was never dead and offers to bring her over so they can meet her. The kids agree.

    “It that him?” he asked.
    “It's him,” Victoria answered.
“Who are you?” their quarry asked, looking at both of them.
“We want to know what you did to Olivia,” said Leonardo.
“Olivia? Well, I did nothing. As far as I remember we had a damned good time in bed.”
Leonardo punched him in the solar plexus with his left hand, which began a brawl worthy of a St Patrick's Day in Belfast. Half the bar got involved while the other half watched. Alejandra took out her cell and called the police, telling them to send a van with a team.

Or How To Tell Your Pseudo-Baby Momma That A Stranger Has Her Daughter

At the hospital, Jorge berates Lili for her careless actions, which now include bringing a new life into this world, and ruining her life in the process. Kika doesn’t think it’s the best time to talk about this but Jorge reiterates that it’s the best time. He asks Lili if her mother never taught her about preserving her virginity or anything of the sort but Lili reminds him that she never had a father, neither did her brother, but Jorge tells her that she’s no one to judge. Kika tries to defuse the situation and tells them that they must tell the father of the child, first, and then decide what to do. Jorge looks sick to his stomach but Lili nods.

In Neron’s shop, Pablo talks to his mother to tell her about his plans to go to the US to look for his father. He sends her his love and hangs up as his co-worker teases him. Pablo pays him no mind and then goes to Neron and tells him that his mother sends her thanks for all his help. He then tells that he found a group of Guatemalans online that can help him locate his father in the US. Neron is happy to hear the good news but seems distracted as Pablo keeps asking him what he thinks the best plan of action to find his father is. Neron tells Pablo to give him a minute and goes to his office.

At the "cooperative" meeting, Mauricio tries to explain that they have to think about how exactly to open the cooperative. The answers will come from brainstorming little by little. Mauricio tells them they have to be smart and do things well. Toño blames Mauricio for being the one in a rush and changing plans. Nerón is not happy either. Jorge agrees with Mr. López Garza that "Rome was not built in a day". Toño says they all know that already and also points out the deference and formality on Jorge's part towards Mauricio with Jorge addressing Mauricio as "Ud." and not "tú" when they are all supposed to be equals and Mauricio is no longer his boss. Mauricio tells Jorge not to shout at Jorge because nobody is the boss of anyone else. He finally gets Toño to shake Jorge's hand to restore the solidarity of the group. Nerón is antsy and wants to get home to Flor who is not feeling well. He thinks that she must be pregnant again. Toño tells Jorge and Mauricio that he is basically broke and he needs a job like now. He leaves, too. Mauricio makes a comment about how stressed out Toño is.
