Amores Verdaderos #21 Thu 12/6/12 Guerito, i hope you didn't forget your bullet proof vest... and Kendra gets rough treatment, one rescue attempt failed, 2nd rescue attempt... tbd
Guillo and Liliana get along great, she is showing him what she is doing with ‘Adelita’, the orchid she is reviving for Dona Victoria.
Beatriz and Cristina are also getting along very well, Cristina offers to make something for dinner to Guillo’s taste, milanesas… hmm yum!! Beatriz says she will try to get a job, Cristina also offers to watch Guillo if Beatriz gets a job.
Beatriz feels bad she has to lie to Cristina about her family matters.
At Barbanera’s, the house without antacid, despite strong objection from Dances with Sunglasses, our dear heroes Guerito and Angel With Hugs take off to attempt a rescue ‘operative’( as Dances WS calls it)… But as Angel and Guerito leave in Vicky’s SUV, they have one extra cosmonaut … eh… passenger in the SUV in the mission: Dona Victoria… she sneaked out after them.
Even though Dances with Sunglasses gets derailed for several minutes, he finally gets to warn the thugs just in time and they are running out the door like scared rats from the Titanic as Angel with hugs, Guerito and Dona Vicky-sneaky arrive.
Nelson gets really antsy that Vicky disappeared so he and Dances with Sunglasses call Angel and Guerito… As Nelson is barking at Angel with Hugs that Vicky is gone, Victoria peaks up from the backseat ‘Here I am!!!’, Angel with Hugs and Guerito get concerned… Nelson barges at her ‘What in the hayride are you doing there??!!’, she puts her foot down (figuratively). She is determined to participate in ‘mission rescue Nicky’.
Back at Balvanera castle, Dances with Sunglasses makes a pitch to Nelson that Arriaga is a bad influence on Vicky. Nelson is really anxious that he could lose his wife and daughter… Dances adds ‘also your lover’. Nelson does not like that comment one pickle seed.
At their hiding room in that run down warehouse, the thugs throw Nicky and Kendra (I am SURE Kendra is loving this VIP treatment… NOT!!) into a dark room and the young thug stays to watch them. Kendra tells Nicky the other guy did not do anything to her, but she tells Nicky she is upset/scared since her own parents don’t have any significant amount of money to offer for her rescue. Nicky tries to reassure her. The thugs keep scaring them that they won’t go free unless the rescue money gets to them.
Anibal gets the paper from the doorman at the apartment building, then … again… runs into his own daughter… Cristina, always the nosy type, asks what he was reading about that he was so focused (article states in title ‘Gene for infidelity discovered’ … LOL!!). He offers to bring the paper back to her when he is done reading the article. Where do you live? # 218.. ah!, you are the new tenant at that place. (Anibal concludes quietly: Cristina is the wife of Arriaga).
So first attempt at rescuing Nicky and Kendra fails thanks to Vicky, who runs after her daughter at hearing her voice and does not allow Angel with Hugs and Guerito to reach them in time. (again, Kendra got a good dose of manhandling/ dragging/roughing… I bet that was not in the ‘deal’ with DwS)
Anyway, the good thing is Nicky got to see that her mother is doing everything possible to get her back alive and well. She was able to see her mother run after them from the back window of the runaway car.
As the hero boys realize they can’t reach the thugs or Nicky and Kendra, … Vicky’s initial instinct is to blame Angel and Guerito but then comes to her senses… Vicky again faints in Bear with Hugs’ arms.
At the Balv house, Nelson, Dances with Sunglasses and all the staff are really concerned at not knowing what is going on during the rescue attempt. Dances with Sunglasses is doing a good job at convincing Nelson that he was wrong to allow Angel and Guerito to attempt the rescue, Nelson, always the dull dude, offers no argument against and gives in quickly.
Back to the SUV, Vicky is nervous, Guerito has lost the signal, surely they turned the cell phone off. Guerito apologizes, Angel seconds that motion, but Vicky tells them not to take it so hard. She knew there was a risk with the attempt. Commander Robles of the police calls Vicky’s cell, but it is just to tell her the elevator incident seemed to be accidental, not sabotage. Angel with Hugs insists he thought it was intentional. Vicky says that is not important now, have to concentrate on getting my daughter back.
In the woods somewhere, the thugs throw the girls into a dark room in an old cabin. Then the main thug calls the house again and fakes being mad, Dances follows the lead and insists the money is ready to be given to them. The thug hangs up after telling Dances he will call again with time and place. At that time Vicky arrives with Guerito and Angel with Hugs… Nelson waves his arms demanding an explanation. Guerito begins to explain that the thugs seemed to have been alerted that they were coming, someone must have… (Dances interrupts him before he can finish saying ‘someone must have hinted them, or at least given them a bad stinch’)… Dances barks at them, Arriaga backs up what Guerito said… But Nelson, having been brain-poached by Dances in advance, gives orders that the only one that will take any action and make decisions from here on will be Salsero.
At their own apt in the building, Anibal is talking business with someone on phone about buying some land. Anibal writes down a phone number on the newspaper. Paula is very distracted when Anibal talks to her, he asks what is the matter, she says he probably won’t listen. When she begins to tell him, he walks away, proving her point that he has never cared about her own business or her family issues. ‘That is the problem with you Anibal, to find out half way, to love half way, to live half way..’… He insists he is putting a good effort in their relationship. And walks away… Paula gets a call from Beatriz. Beatriz needs to meet with her asap.
Anibal brings Cristina the newspaper article (let me guess, the phone number he wrote on it will come into play sometime not too far from now…) . Anibal meets Liliana and thinks she is as pretty as her mother. He acts very friendly with them, unlike how he acted with Paula, his ‘mujer’. Cristina tells Liliana she is impressed with some real good people in the city, including Don Anibal.
At the park, while Guillo plays in the playground, Beatriz meets with her mother Paula. Beatriz tells her she left Leonardo. Yeah, I knew it. How did you? (Paula has to lie) Beatriz tried for years to maintain her family together, but her hopes of that happening faded away with time, along with her love for Leo. Paula guesses correctly that Beatriz does not want Guillo to witness how Leo physically abuses her. Paula extends a handfull of money for Beatriz. Beatriz is not accepting it at first, but Paula says don’t reject it, don’t do like Francisco. Beatriz does not want money from that man. Then has to tell Paula that she is staying with some friends of her brother’s… Paula of course insists that Beatriz should have her own place. (of course, her real motive is that she wants Bea out of that building asap). Guillo comes to see Paula and tells her about Cristina and Lilly and how much he is enjoying staying with them.
At Balvanera castle, Dances is again on phone with lead thug… Sra Vicky will be the one who will personally bring in the money. Thug is angry, take it or leave it! Then he hangs up without letting them argue against it. Nelson and Dances are against letting her go take the money alone. Vicky says will do whatever it takes to get her daughter back!! Arriaga and Guerito offer to go with her.
Nelson takes offense at Arriaga telling Vicky he won’t allow her to go alone. Arriaga has to explain he is her bodyguard and her security is at stake. Dances with Sunglasses tries to argue against going outside the box… but Arriaga insists. Nelson agrees that if Vicky goes alone, the thugs could take her too. In the end Angel with Hugs and Guerito are able to convince Nelson to let them go with her.
As Angel and Guerito leave, so does Dances through another door… to call the thugs that Vicky is on the way to turn in the money. The other thug tells the lead, hey, you and I are the only ones who could lose, Salsero and Kendra are not risking anything. What if we kept the whole kit-n-kaboodle for ourselves? … lead thug is tempted.
At the cabin in the woods, the girls are tied up… they are left alone in the room. Nicky tells Kendra she is very afraid. Kendra tries to reassure her.
Guerito, Vicky and Angel with Hugs arrive near the cabin. Batman and Robin … eh… Angel and Guerito get out of the car and let Vicky continue on her own.
At Barbanera house, we have a funny scene in kitchen where Polita is scared praying to her virgin to keep her guerito alive. Jean Marie is afraid too, and so is Mon.
The thugs have the girls in the car… lead thug comes toward Vicky… while the other thug points his gun at the girls. Guerito is behind a tree, in position to turn someone into swiss cheese… Vicky asks to see her daughter before turning in the money. Lead thug orders Vicky to throw the bag his way. After he confirms it is full of pesos, Vicky asks him to fulfill his side of the deal… he says he will take the girls for a ride before turning them in, to make sure she did not bring her wingmen… Angel goes into action, grabbing lead thug from behind. Nicky, who will not be denied her part of the action, gets out of the car and before the other thug can do anything, Arriaga urges her to run hard, she gets to Vicky… but the other thug points his gun and shoots at them… we see Guerito jumping in… too bad he forgot his bullet proof vest at home… or did he? We see smoke bouncing back from his leather jacket, maybe he did wear a vest… otherwise he must have failed his bodyguard save-your-own-skin 101 course. If he did take a bullet for Vicky and Nicky, Nicky BETTER change her attitude toward him.

Por ella soy Eva #98 12/5/12: The Episode Where Girls Share Secrets, Boys Will Be Boys and Nacos Are Not Stupid!
Wednesday, December 5th - Good evening to all,
We start off with Rebeca bothering the Virgencita (thank you, to Melinama) about giving her “goodies’ to Oneismo (the fool).
Helena is in Pluti’s office getting ready to look at his computer for proof, when she gets to a file labeled- Pluti’s Projects. He walks in. She told him that she was looking for some Playa Mayagua information and she feels terrible about using his computer. Pluti is thrilled. What’s mine is yours, we will be married soon.
Fernando jumps the line at an agency in search of a job and is nicely placed back in his right place in line behind the woman who was patiently waiting. Of course, he has to make some inappropriate, chauvinistic type comments to the woman because it’s a transportation company, that I guess in his mind they should only hire men.
Lucia notices that Helena is very pensive and asks her- What’s up? Helena said just thinking about work and Eva enters and asks Lucia for last month’s price lists or quotes from Mayagua Beach. Eva clumsily sits down and starts teasing Lucia about being the girlfriend of the President’s assistant. Eva tells Lucia to thread lightly with Renato.
Fernando and the other candidate are waiting for the results of the interview, he is sure that he has the position based on his resume and just being him.
Lucia asks if Eva knows something about Renato. Santi also told her to take it slow. Eva says that Renato is not for Lucia and Lucia comes to the conclusion that he is a womanizer, a sailor, with a woman in every port, every company. (Lucia began the novella as a strong, independent woman and has now become a babbling fool; I hope to see her transform back to the first Lucia and very soon because her screeching voice is starting to bother me) Eva notes that Helena has been a little different lately too. Helena has a lot going on in her mind and she can’t shake it.
Renato is going to treat Santi and his wife and Lucia to a little celebration for his promotion.
Eva asks again about the thesis and wants to read it but Helena has packed it up and when she unpacks she will give it to her. Helena asks why is Eva so interested in it, Eva says that it was plagiarized and Helena claims that its not. It’s a coincidence.
Adriano (in love)- pops his head in and invites Eva to go out with him but she can’t, she is going to the wedding planner with Helena. Men, they just love to touch says Eva, as Juan/Eva touches Helena.
Santi is encouraging Renato to go out with Lucia but Renato is not feeling her. He doesn’t know how to tell her and Santi (for the first time, says something semi-intelligent) tells him be direct with her. Renato says, thanks but I really don’t want advice from you and Santi understands, but then he teases Renato by asking him- how many women are you going out with? Renato lies and says that he is a one-night stand type of guy. Santi is going to teach Renato- Juan Carlos’ moves- first deceive them and make them think that they are the only ones or just be indifferent, they will tire of that, like how you are with your wife? Santi didn’t think that was funny and told Renato that Lucia doesn’t deserve to suffer, she is a good woman. Which is true.
At the wedding planner lunch, the girls are looking through catalogues trying to pick themes, some looked like the Addams Family, Batman, Mexican but not like Frida Calo, etc. The planner was so confused. Eva wasn’t pleased with any of her ideas.
Silvia calls Helena to ask about the location of some papers. Helena explains that Silvia is packing. Eva notes again that Helena is a little nervous and needs someone to confide in. Helena confides in Eva and tells her that Juan Carlos is alive. Eva does her- Que, que, what??? Trying to feign surprise.
Fernando did not get the job that he felt he was more qualified for.
Helena begs Eva not to tell anyone the news. Eva’s lips are sealed. She explains the whole fake death bit to Eva. (wink, wink)
The music teacher calls Marsela, she thinks its because she hasn’t paid him and will pay him tomorrow but he tells her that Kevin has missed a few classes and when he comes his is not interested. He is talented and the teacher doesn’t want to see the talent go to waste.
Helena explains that she hasn’t given Juan the opportunity to explain everything. How does she feel? Used, deceived, etc. Eva suggests that she give Juan Carlos a chance and here comes Pluti.
Fernando and Kevin are at home playing like the boys that they are. Kevin wants to stay at home with his brother (oops, father Fernando) and Fernando is encouraging him to stay at home. Marsela asks Jennifer why didn’t she tell her that Kevin was missing the harp classes? Jennifer didn’t notice. Marsela tells Kevin to get ready to go to class and the doorbell rings. It’s the third son, (boyfriend) Daniel. Marsela now knows why Jennifer didn’t have a clue about Kevin, and does the boy have a home?
Pluti wants to know what is the matter with Helena and Eva tells him that it's girl talk. They have their monthly visitors (those days), so that they are sad, agitated and hormonal. Pluti buys it.
Eugenia and Claudia are at the music school and the teacher recognizes and compliments Eugenia on her interpretation of “A Midnight Summer’s Dream”. Kevin sees Claudia and is love struck and Claudia is quiet for once.
Pluti brings Helena home and offers to help with the move, but she doesn’t need any help.
Juan Carlos calls Helena- Juan begs Helena not t hang up but to give him a chance to tell her everything in detail. They will meet in a spot that they both know at 12 the next day. Why did she say, yes? Because she loves him. Juan is doing the happy dance. Mimi asks if he is going to tell Helena about Eva. Juan feels that it is counterproductive to tell her about Eva before he tells her his story. Helena calls Eva to tell her that Juan called and she will see him tomorrow. Eva convinces Helena to listen to him and have faith. Mimi is going to light her candles and ask for help from all saints, because Juan needs it. Happy, happy, joy, joy.
At the celebration- Lucia is complimented on her dress and how tasteful it is. Santi suggests that Angelica take a page from Lucia’s fashion book. Let’s have a toast!! Angelica has been called to model in the gentleman’s magazine- “El”
Santi and his wife are having a debate about her job. She is an artistic, erotic, nude model, not a pornographic one. Santi doesn’t want her to have a career, according to her. She then asks Renato and Lucia for their opinion and Renato agrees with her. Santi wants her to be a model that is dressed. Renato and Lucia leave.
Renato takes Lucia home and they talk about how Santi and Angelica always end up arguing. They are like oil and water. According to Lucia, they won’t end up like that because she is a super girlfriend and comes from a good family. (This is getting painful to watch because Lucia deserves someone like Santi who will truly love her) Lucia wants Renato to stay but he has to get up early and go to the office, she reminds him that its Friday night and he doesn’t have work in the morning. He finds any excuse not to stay and leaves. Lucia thinks that she should be more like Angelica!
Eugenia and Claudia are discussing the music classes that she previewed. When Modesto came home she greeted him like the good child that she can be and tells him about the music classes. Finally, a breakthrough! Kudos to Eugenia!
At the Escuderos apartment- Angelica knows that Santi is mad with her and makes him a sandwich. Angelica feels that Santi should be proud of her and support her in reaching her dreams. She wants to be famous. (like Linda Lovelace.)
At Rebeca’s house- Oneismo pays her a late night call. She is wearing one of her numerous animal prints, she even has a night collection. He is looking for some payment and not of the financial type. She’s an aristocrat and he is a naco. He let’s her know that he has the video that she was looking for and without Pluti’s knowledge. Oneismo also has proof that Pluti framed Juan Caballero.
At Fernando’s house- Fernando tries to re-enter the marital bed and Marsela tells him- no way, not until your find a job. Fernando blames the fact that he hasn’t found a job on the global unemployment- huh?? Marsela can put in a word with some contacts from Grupo Imperio. Fernando being the manly man that he is returns to the couch.
Angelica is eating and teasing Santi- (honestly, I wish that I could eat like her and keep her figure- she is always eating). She teases Santi with a little bit eat the sandwich by playing airplane, which turns in a love bite.
Rebeca seduces Oneismo in order to get the proof of Pluti’s involvement in the fraud. She asks him to bring it to her. Oneismo wants her body and soul. Again she bothers the Virgencita. I had a flashback of LFMB- with Tomas and Alicia

Amor Bravío #78 (Uni 73) Wed 12/5/12 "Pass the Hankies Por Favor!"
Camila’s Cabana: Lic Becerra is relieved that Camila knows the
truth about Daniel now and no one has to hide information anymore. Camila is impatient to get back the business matter of how to
handle ownership of El Rancho between herself and Daniel. Daniel explains he would like to transfer the
lands to Camila, but if he does, she will be in danger again from the two and
half crooks. Lic Becerra is especially
worried about Dio because there is no evidence to incriminate him yet. Lic Bec tries to warn Camila about Dio but is
beating around the bush. Camila grows
increasingly impatient with him. Dan
steps in and offers to help to tell the secret that Lic Bec is avoiding. “Otro secreto?” spits Camila, “Por
supuesto!” Dan and Lic Bec look
sheepishly at one another. Dan explains
that the Lic Bec doesn’t want to break the confidence of Amanda (because we
think Lic Bec has the warmies for Amanda and wants to stay on her good
list). Dan explains to Camila that Dio
is a flim-flam man with many aliases, one being Hector Gutierrez. Many years ago, Sr Gutierrez was married to
Amanda of El Pueblo and Natalia is their daughter (hija de ambos). “Que?” Camila is impactada and for one split
second we are spared her yelling about all of the secretos.

Amores Verdaderos #20 Wed 12/5/12 Nikki has Avacadoes; Ms Vikki Asks and the Angel Gives; Tomasina and the Two Suitors
We start this epi with Kendra (the lying ho) and Nikki huddled on that filthy mattress. Kendra advises Nikki to get some shut eye, it will make the time go by faster, but Nikki is horrified to be sleeping on this dirty mattress. Kendra says she would scream (as if) but noone would hear. Nikki thinks Kendra is sooo nice. They are going to be great friends, Okay??? Kendra thinks Nikki is sweet.
Next we have Dances with Sunglasses, walking outside muttering to himself, that everything is going according to his planes, bwaaahhaaa. Just then Zambrano, the other bodyguard comes up to Dances with Sunglasses, and Dances wants to know what is goin' on. Zambrano thinks something strange is goin' on here. He talked to the guards, they aren't involved, for sure. So that only leaves two options, and what are those, Dances with Sunglasses wants to know, either someone followed Nikki for days, meh, Dances says can't be, Guzmancito would have noticed, or there is a mole in the house, Yeah, Zambrano and you are lookin' right at him, jus' sayin'. Dances gets way upset, with Zambrano's speculation, one of his buddies could lose his job, but hey, Dances will keep his comment in mind. Oh Zambrano, if you only knew.

Amor Bravío #77 (Uni 72) Tue 12/4/12 The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth. And oh yeah, here’s another truth!
Dion and Agustina’s
Date Night
Dionicio parks the car a few blocks from the restaurant and
Agustina complains about this. Agustina
sees Amanda walking with Osvaldo and points her out to Dionicio, obviously not
realizing she’s his ex. As usual, he’s
not really paying attention to her until she says Amanda is Natalia’s mom. As soon as she says “Natalia”, he’s all ears. He sees Amanda and seems to recognize
her! He flashes back to his younger, and
much more handsome, self. Young Dion has
come into his office to find paperwork thrown on the floor. He yells for Amanda (in old Dion’s voice). The maid tells him the Mrs. isn’t in (she
refers to him as Don Hector). He demands
to know who’s been rifling through his things!
He’s quickly putting everything away, including a few passports. The maid has no idea and assumes it must have
been la Señora, who’s left with the baby.
She didn’t say where she was going.
All she knows is that she packed a suitcase for herself and another for
la niña Natalia and then she left! We
come back to the present Dionicio. He
quickly tells Agustina he’s changed his mind and they should park closer to the
restaurant.

Por ella soy Eva #97 12/4/12: Rebecca is Like a Bad Penny
I must have missed the very beginning. Helena and Eva come into the "Office of Exploded Good'n'Plenty" to find Rebeca is not fired! She tells them Adri and Pluto begged her on bended knees not to leave, and why? Because her work is invaluable. And she is a victim, blameless. And she's happy to be back embittering their lives.
Santi comes to Fer's home. Fer, fired, is wearing his baby bib. Santi returns the money he borrowed ("you'll need it more than I do") and Fer says the lesson he's learned is: never trust a woman. Everything bad that's happened to poor him is their fault! Santi has adopted a less cro-magnon stance on women. Fer: "Your wife is probably deceiving you again, that's life."
Meanwhile, Marcela sadly decides she has to return her new car, now that Fer's fired they can't afford it.
Helena tells Pluto she doesn't think Rebeca should still have her job; he says it turns out it was all Fern's fault. Same story when Eva goes to see HER boyfriend Adri: he says the brilliant evil mastermind Fern seduced and used Rebeca to rob the company. "No, Adri, that burro doesn't have the brains for something so baroque." Adri yells that the decision is final. Eva calls him Satan and leaves.
Helena thinks about Juan's accusations against Pluto. Pluto comes in. The phone rings, it's Juan. Helena won't pick up. Pluto is suspicious. Helena lies and says it was her mother. The phone rings again - Pluto says, answer. She does. It's Juan again, he says they have to meet. She stammers out another lie to Pluto. He does not believe it. She calls Juan; he begs to see her. She refuses.
Rebe cries piteously to Adri: she doesn't want to lose her job, she did it because she lost her heart to Fer. She is fully reinstated.
Announcement from Adri to all: Fer is not working here now, but no gossip about that is allowed. And, from now on Renato is officially the President's Assistant.
"I have nothing to say to the wife of a thief," says Rebe when Marcela is astonished to see her. Marcela and Eva agree Fer was too much of a moron to plan this. Marcela remembers Juan dragging her moron husband into stupid activities when he should have been doing his homework. "I loved Juan but he was a bad influence."
Fer looks at job ads, finds one to his liking, goes back to watching tv, then later goes (without making an appointment) to the place offering the position. He's in the process of being, as usual, a macho imbecile when the woman says she can't hire him, she knows he was fired from GI.
I can't bear to watch Lucia drool and nag over Renato, who would rather hang with Santi, who suggests to L. that she not hang all over the scarfed one.
Eugenia suggests music school to Claudia. Claudia says she doesn't care. Eugenia says, that's the problem with today's youth, so indifferent to everything. Claudia is poisonously sarcastic when Eugenia says we have to struggle towards our dreams, sometimes winning, sometimes losing.
Onesimo puts his feet up at Rebe's office and says she owes him big time, he talked Pluto into not firing her, and last time he saved her when she poisoned Helena, and there was a time before that (I forget what). He expects a fine reward. She covers her breasts before his lustful gaze and after he leaves she bothers the Virgin, begging: "Don't make me give my favors to a naco."
Helena, finding Pluto out of his office, sits at his computer... and he comes in and finds her there!

Same story when Eva goes to see HER boyfriend Adri: he says the brilliant evil mastermind Fern seduced and used Rebeca to rob the company. "No, Adri, that burro doesn't have the brains for something so baroque." Adri yells that the decision is final. Eva calls him Satan and leaves.
Helena thinks about Juan's accusations against Pluto. Pluto comes in. The phone rings, it's Juan. Helena won't pick up. Pluto is suspicious. Helena lies and says it was her mother. The phone rings again - Pluto says, answer. She does. It's Juan again, he says they have to meet. She stammers out another lie to Pluto. He does not believe it. She calls Juan; he begs to see her. She refuses.
Rebe cries piteously to Adri: she doesn't want to lose her job, she did it because she lost her heart to Fer. She is fully reinstated.
Announcement from Adri to all: Fer is not working here now, but no gossip about that is allowed. And, from now on Renato is officially the President's Assistant.
"I have nothing to say to the wife of a thief," says Rebe when Marcela is astonished to see her. Marcela and Eva agree Fer was too much of a moron to plan this. Marcela remembers Juan dragging her moron husband into stupid activities when he should have been doing his homework. "I loved Juan but he was a bad influence."
Fer looks at job ads, finds one to his liking, goes back to watching tv, then later goes (without making an appointment) to the place offering the position. He's in the process of being, as usual, a macho imbecile when the woman says she can't hire him, she knows he was fired from GI.
I can't bear to watch Lucia drool and nag over Renato, who would rather hang with Santi, who suggests to L. that she not hang all over the scarfed one.
Eugenia suggests music school to Claudia. Claudia says she doesn't care. Eugenia says, that's the problem with today's youth, so indifferent to everything. Claudia is poisonously sarcastic when Eugenia says we have to struggle towards our dreams, sometimes winning, sometimes losing.
Onesimo puts his feet up at Rebe's office and says she owes him big time, he talked Pluto into not firing her, and last time he saved her when she poisoned Helena, and there was a time before that (I forget what). He expects a fine reward. She covers her breasts before his lustful gaze and after he leaves she bothers the Virgin, begging: "Don't make me give my favors to a naco."
Helena, finding Pluto out of his office, sits at his computer... and he comes in and finds her there!

Amores Verdaderos #19 Tue 12/4/12 Tears & Danger & filthy mattresses
Yeah, sorry, I'm going to sort of phone in another recap, since it's the holidays and I'm really stressed out and busy. I hope to provide at least some decent screencaps later. And fill in the blanks.
Here's the recap summary (bulleted list) based on memory. Hope to flesh it out later, and don't hesitate to correct me on anything I miss or get wrong!

EVENTS SUMMARIZED AND MAY BE OUT OF ORDER.
* Nikki and Kendra get kidnapped by slimy kidnappers. They are thrown into a nasty room with only a ripped, stained mattress in one corner. Nikki is totally freaking, because of course it's "real" to her. Kendra is pretending to be freaked, but she's not, really. One of the creepy kidnappers is sliming up to poor Nikki and caressing her legs, and strongly implying that he's gonna rape her. Kendra seems to want to avoid that happening to Nikki, and distracts the kidnappers by saying she's got to go to the bathroom. As soon as she's been taken out of their filthy "cell," she demands that her hands be untied, and she's around when the kidnappers (eventually) call the parents with kidnapping demands. (Two million dollars, and don't call the cops!) By the end of the episode, Nikki has "bonded" with her new best friend, Kendra, saying that they'll be tied together forever through their mutual suffering through this ordeal. Oh blech. I hope for severe karmageddon for Kendra and Salsa-dude for doing all of this.

Amores Verdaderos #18 Mon 12/3/12 Taken 3: Where Is Liam Neeson When We Need Him?
* Odette pulls her most convincing innocent expression… oh, I’m sorry, I mean she would pull it if she could move her facial muscles, but since it’s almost impossible, all she does is telling Victoria in a freezing voice that she finds her accusation muy insolent and defamatory. Yes, she’s the only one who would’ve benefited from the incident, but she isn’t like Aníbal who loves to steal clients from other people. Arriaga chimes in with another thought: there’s only one way to find out what happened in the business center. And since great minds think alike, Victoria gets what he’s thinking: oh yes, the security cameras! Odette also thinks it’s a good idea but now she has to leave. Goodbye, my darling. Goodbye, dear. The women share another venomous farewell kiss. Arriaga thinks the thugs who’d tried to kidnap Victoria before pulled that stunt with the elevator and Ms. Balvanera had better call the cops as soon as possible.

her what moving in was supposed to be about. He tells her that it
was to establish themselves there before taking formal possession.
She tells him that Daniel wants them out. He agrees to this and asks
her for some money to tide over his boredom and let him play a little
and he will pay it back with interest. She tells him no way and
gives her sperm donor unholy hell over his equally unholy alliance
with Hissadora and his major shortcomings as a father. “Forget it,
because I won't maintain you. Remember it's supposed to be the other
way; parents are supposed to give money to their children. If you
need – or want – money, ask Isadora. In the end she's the one
you're working for.' She walks out on him, not wanting to hear
another word. We can almost applaud her for this.

Rebe has a mysterious video to show Adri on a camcorder. BUT it's blank! Pluto breathes a sigh of relief and drags her out of the room.
Marcela continues to chew out a humiliated Ferni. She doesn't understand how he could have done such a thing, didn't he think of the kids, etc... Him: I needed to be important, the man of the house. That's why I did it. I felt small because of your career and success and everything. I can't believe he's got the nerve to blame her. It hasn't escaped her attention that he's lazy, doesn't like to work, makes irresponsible decisions, and more, but theft? She's shocked! He gets a pouty moment to himself after she leaves to go have a chat with Adriano.
Rebeca has a little breakdown after the camcorder incident, especially when Pluto tells her he owes her nothing for those 10 years as his snow white.
Adri is doing a surprisingly good job of being respectful to Marcela - maybe this is supposed to show us that Eva was a good influence on him.
Mousse boys shows up, more mousse-ed and scarf-ed than ever, to smirk at Rebe about her misfortune. His duck-bill of moussed hair bobs hilariously as he chuckles. Rebe prays to la virgencita for help!
Eva discusses wedding clothes with Helena. It is positively ridiculous that now, when she even knows Juan's dead, she still doesn't see the Juan connection.
Rebe breaks down in front of Onesimo, who's been painting her guest room. Then she flips out at him for suggesting that he, a simple chauffeur, might be able to help her.
Haha, bad dad puts on his biggest scowl as Helena tries to ask him why he got so mean.
When Onesimo returns to Pluto, he gets grilled some more - Are you TOTALLY sure she's got nothing recorded?
Juan, of course, still wants to reconquer Helena. . . It's funny how often this word in Spanish (you'd get slapped if you told your ex you wanted to reconquer her) - it must be related to Spanish history... a positive/acceptable connotation for this in romantic relationships. But it's still a weird metaphor - like driving the moors out of your ex-lady's heart.
Pluto to Rebe - if you threaten me again, I'll crush you like a bug! But he does agree to convince Adriano to let her keep her job (but only on the condition that she leave him alone in the future. She gives him a hug but makes evil eyes over his shoulder.
The cliffhanger: Pluto is on the phone with one of his wicked accomplices, discussing his plans to implicate one more person, when he realizes Helena has been overhearing all of this!

Horny sweeps in on her broom to blame Fer for Manny’s mental illness and call Isa names. Madre Bruja then goes the psychiatric hospital where her bruja hija resides. She doesn’t believe the doctor when he tells Horny her daughter is loca, And even more wretched, she tells EWM, while the latter pretends she’s asleep, how she’s a loser for being obsessed with Fer and he’s with Isa. After this touching mother-daughter interlude, Manny feels her mother is a traitor as well so if she has her way the body count in this TN could be huge.

Dan has tried talking the stubborn Camila into giving him a chance to
prove to her that fighting for their love is worth the effort. They nearly kissed and made up but her
stubborn side kicks in and she pulls away telling him that she doesn’t believe
him. He tells her her eyes are giving
her away and before she can argue there’s a knock at the door. It’s Piedad.
Cami says she knows Julian’s true identity and that he was killed with
the pistol that Don Daniel gave him. it’s
time Pie tells the authorities about him and Leoncio’s threats to hurt her if
she told what she knew. She makes
arrangements for Rodolfo to take her into town to Becerra’s first so he can
take her to the police station as legal mouthpiece.
Lo Del Nuevo:
Ximena comes grousing into the dining room demanding unsuspecting Isadora
to tell her where Alonso is cuz he never came home last night. Isa says she doesn’t know a thing. Al suddenly appears and shuffles in drunk. Mama scolds about his disgraceful appearance
and demeanor. He screams back at Mama
never to touch him again and that he’s as clearheaded as he’s ever been in his
life right now. And as far as he’s
concerned she can go to Hell! Xi keeps
wondering where dear little Mr. Milquetoast has gone.
At the same time, Leoncio is waking up in a barred hospital room and
screaming in pain. The doc (like those
of us in Viewerville) really doesn’t want to give the perverted bastard any
painkiller, but he gives in to his nurse and tells her to go ahead at the end. We learn that he’s going to be transferred to
a prison in one more day. The nurse
comments that nobody knows what might befall him—a child/niece molestor--inside….
(We can only hope for and expect the worst!! Bu-wa-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaa!)

Fernando, the big macho, is telling Santi that he has to MAKE Angelica quit her "modeling" job. He's being very belligerent about it. Santi says it's ultimately Angie's choice - and Renato agrees. It's not the 19th century and women are not property. But nobody is a smarter or bigger man than Fernando! (To be fair, he also says that Santi is blinded by passion, which is true.) But then these Three Unwise Men are summoned into a Big Meeting.
Claudia is bopping around with headphones and singing off-key. She admits she hasn't picked out a school yet. She begs Eugenia not to bore her with her dull tales of ancient times, i.e. Eugenia's youth. The girl is a bit sullen because when she phoned home, her mother would barely speak to her. Eugenia makes excuses for her sister-wife but hints that someday, Claudia will understand. (Will she one day stop wearing those gawdawful braided headbands on her forehead, too?)
And now for something completely different: a Big Meeting. Helena asks Pluto if he knows what it's about. Eva wedges herself between them, deftly elbowing Pluto out of the way. Adriano announces: Someone's been stealing from Grupo Imperio! Eva looks right at Pluto.

We open this epi with the near miss, er kiss of the Angel and Ms Vikki in that stuck elevator, as he encourages her to breath in then out, in then out, sigh!
Dances with Sunglass is waiting for Nelson, who of course, is in a meeting with the accountant going over some accounts. Hilda gives him some pictures to give to Aldo, the ones that were authorized by Vikki, for a cosmetics account. He goes and in comes Guzmancito and Nikki. She has come to see her Snappy Papi, but he's still in the meeting and of course, here comes Kendra, wanting to boink, er see Nelson too! Well, Nikki and Kendra greet each other, they remember each other from the photo shoot, doncha know, and Nikki explains to Kendra why she didn't model that day. Ugly bathing suit picked by Mummy. Well Nikki is liking what Kendra has on. Kendra says its by her favorite designer Emmanuel Quintana, who by the way ,she knows personally, wonder how much, jus' sayin', Nikki is impressed and Kendra promises to introduce her. Nelson is now free and Nikki tells her it's ok, she'll wait, well kissies on cheekies and Kendra goes. Meantime, Guzmancito has gotten a call from Bea, who tells him she has left her hubby, he is crazy jealous and she can't take it anymore. Frankie tells her to pick up her son at school, then go to her friend Estrella's house and he will find them there. Nikki is all nosy wantin' to know who was that he was talkin' to, nonya bidness, he says, well of course it was personal.

Amor Bravío #74 (Uni 69) Thu 11/29/12 Amor Verboso
Agustina comes to see Camila, thinking she's concerned about Andres having escaped from the hospital. Camila fakes like she doesn't care. Augie thinks after what Leo did, Andres won't want anything more to do with the ranch. She's crowing over how her superawesome husband helped capture that terrible Leoncio! Yeah, yeah, Cam heard it from the cops. Agustina says she doesn't justify what Leo did to Luzma or to Andres, but Andres was getting to big for his britches and it was only a matter of time before Leo wanted to put him in his place. She smarms on and on about how Camila had this coming-- taking on a lover while she was still married, and him being a nobody who was probably just looking for a good time and wanting to see what it was like to have an affair with the boss lady. Camila screams at her that she loved Andres, damnit, and her marriage was only ever on paper, and hey, how about that--her ex is now shacked up with her sister, but it's cool, cause the dumbass finally signed the divorce papers--and it's not like she wanted to have her mother's story, to have Luis die on her and Alonso cheat on her, and now Andres has disappointed her…well, like Dionisio is disappointing Augie, right? Agustina denies that he is. "Oh, right, so you're saying he's still the same guy you fell for?" Augie is adamant that he is. Camila finally tells her to get out, but Augie has one last barb to throw…"Andres doesn't deserve you, so be thankful he left! And now I'll go. Call me if you need anything." Pobre de Camila. And pobre de mi! I was waiting for all that yelling and screaming to wind down so I could summarize it…sheesh! It was the never-ending tirade!
Augie reports back to Dio that Andres hasn't gotten in contact with Camila. Dio supposes Cam must be feeling humiliated by that chauffeur. Agustina says he deceived them all. "You'll never betray me, will you, my love?" Dio pours on the smarm so he can make faces behind her back.

Amores Verdaderos #16 Thu 11/29/12 Love in an elevator, livin’ it up when I’m going down
* The fight between Bratty and My Little Pony is interrupted by the Angel. What’s happening here, what’s all that shouting? Nothing, Dad, says Liliana. The Arriagas leave and they take Adelita, too. Nikki demands Francisco to take back her orchid from that thug, but the angry bodyguard puts her into her place: first of all, she should learn to show some respect towards him, second, she always told him she doesn’t need anyone to defend her. Francisco also leaves and Nikki, whose ass has been just handed to her (figuratively) starts crying.
* Alamos, Sonora. The famous and mysterious Candelaria (Ana Martín dressed like a nurse), whom Paula fears like the Devil is talking with Cristina on phone. She’s shocked by the tragedies that happened to the Arriaga family, but Cristina tells her enthusiastically that fortunately everything is going just fine, they live in a great apartment, oh, and she has a fantastic neighbor, a real lady, whom she will introduce to Candelaria the next time she comes to visit the family. Paula, who was present the whole conversation is horrified now.

Refugio Para el Amor #164 Thu 11/29/12 Mateo Finds His Family; Karma Finds Gala and Julie
In my last recap of
this TN, Vivi is joining me doing this recap. We started this TN together and
did two hour recaps every other day, until the rest of our wonderful team

Rosa's Den of Insanity:
Luci is with la loca Rosa in her den of insanity and has
confessed that she wrenched that bebe out of Luci's arms and has the nerve to
ask Luci for forgiveness. Her soul is in torment, doncha know. Luci, however,
doesn't care about la loca Rosa's soul, she just wants to know where her bebe
is and like right now! Luci grabs la loca's arms and is shaking her wanting
that info like yesterday already! Luci is so distraught she is actually begging
her.

Amor Bravío #73 (Uni 68) Wed 11/28/12 "Camila says 'Explain to the Hand' or, Camila is Having a Vvverrry Baaad Week”
Yesterday’s Neighborhood News
Camila’s Cabana:
Luzma and Camila are giving aid to an ailing Daniel. Camila discovers
that Luzma is one more on the list of people who know who Andres really
is. She wants to know why Luzma didn’t
tell her. Luzma tries to “explain to the
hand”. Camila – not buying it.
Out of Mexico City Somewhere: Police cruisers drive along a rural road and
turn into a cornfield. They park the
cruisers and wander into the field to a ditch.
There in the ditch lies LeoSordido, face down in the dirt. They turn him over – while one officer calls
for an ambulance the other turns his body over.
He is alive but bleeding. Someone
has cut out his tongue! Que barbaridad!
Malquerida Dining Room:
Isa floats in while Dio finishes and folds his newspaper. She reports that LeoSordido will not be
talking to anyone about them with the glimmer of seduction in her eyes. Dio comments on how it appears that Isa
enjoys creating mayhem and committing murder.
“But of course, dawling!”, and she warns him to be careful. Dio is unimpressed and one- ups her with,
“Don’t you forget what I am capable of ….. the only difference being I
don’t get my hands dirty.” Ximena peers out from behind the wall, now
shaking in her thigh high boots.

Amores Verdaderos #15 Wed 11/28/12 I Like The Way You Move
So in this epi we get to finally see Dances with Sunglasses Dance. Can he cut a rug so to speak? Also Vikki gets caught dancing! How does she cut a rug? Read on to find out!
My eyes, my eyes, they are burning, I can't look, but since I recap, I have to watch the yuk, butt floss scene again. It is a rehash of yesterday, so I really don't have anything new to say, about that, thank goodness. Moving on now.
We are at a club and Salserso is there having a drink and notices a table of ladies sitting by themselves. He asks one of them to dance by holding out his hand. He gets on the dance floor with her and yowsa can that man dance, he is swiveling his hips and looks fantastic out on that dance floor. He has more than earned that nickname, jus' sayin'.
Nikki is working out with Guzmancito nearby, he gets a phone call. It is his Papa Felipe of course. Felipe tells Guzmancito about the beatdown and that he needs some money, like yesterday, or they are coming back to beat him some more. Guzmancito says he'll call him back later. Nikki wants to know who called Guzmancito. Was it perhaps a wife, girlfriend, spill the frijoles. She wants to know more about him. Guzmancito doesn't spill anything.

Refugio Para el Amor #163 Wed 11/28/12 Two Women in White—One is getting married, the other is going crazy.

Don Aquiles has to horn in on my last recap. Procopio is reading the proclamation forgiving everyone’s debts to Don A. (It seems to me that the holdouts came off better than those hardworking souls who paid him off or made regular payments. Oh, well, it’s just a tn, it’s just a tn.) Everybody in Het Het is ecstatic.
El Día antes de la Boda
Conversation between DF and HetHet - Rod is trying to put Alexia’s hair in a chignon (moño). Alexia doesn’t want one. He’s on the phone with Luci at the same time wanting to know when she is returning. She’s not sure. She’s not even out of her funereal dress blacks yet. But she assures him she’ll be back for Lor’s wedding. Rod talks about the wedding, marriage and being with the one you love forever—but it sounds like he’s talking about the two of them. Luci breaks it off by telling Rod to put the moño on himself, not on Alexia and chuckles.
Paz, Magda and Violeta are back and Luci says they have to leave right away. Paz is still puzzled at having the wedding date moved up. Barrio de Aragon, where Don Chelo is “hiding out” – Don Chelo is listening to his friend talk about Mateo. Don C says he’s growing up fast and soon he’ll leave him; his friend wonders what he’s talking about, Mateo has a long way to go, he’s still a child. Don Chelo is not so sure. His friend thinks he’s acting a bit peculiar, but Don C. thinks life has its laws, whether one thinks they are just or not.
Some Expensive Watering Hole so Julie can Drink her Lunch - Carola is warning CQ not to put all her pesos in one guy’s billfold, especially one she doesn’t know well. CQ blows her off saying, true, we don’t know the financial advisor well, but Mirko does. Since Mirko is a friend of Gala’s and René has been his FA a long time, she has no doubts about him. Carola reminds her she hasn’t known Mirko for very long either. “Caras vemos, mañas (bad habits) no sabemos.” Julie giggles implying she’d like to get to know his mañas. She finally takes Carola’s words to heart and get into this investment thing slowly by keeping her NYC apartment and her US bank account out of the game. Still, she has a goodly amount to invest in a sure thing. In a year, she’ll be rich. Now we know her brain has been addled by champagne.
Brigida is Fridgiting over the Hospital ID – Oh dear, what to do, what to do with this (Roddy’s hospital ID). Things are looking pretty bad right now (las cosas se estan poniendo color de hormiga). She’s considering her options. The best thing to do is just to get rid of it, because Rodrigo may think she’s to blame for the whole disappearance thing and she has no defense. OTOH, if she keeps the bracelet as a bartering tool, there’s more money to be had as payback for the maltreatment she’s received from Gala, and that would be a lot she’s owed. They’re going to learn, “Que es amar a Dios en tierra de los Indios.” (That sounds as if those cross-carrying conquistadores weren't very welcome back then.)
TL Empresa, Max’s Office – Aldo and Max are having a confab about Max’s off-the-books empresa activities. Aldo tells Max that Ivan & Lastra’s books are a disaster (thanks to Aldo, who moved the decimal point to the left and subtracted a few zeros ). They are laundering money and snubbing you (thanks to Aldo’s sleight of hand). No one makes a fool of me, says Max (except Aldo). Aldo’s recommendation is to accuse them (as quickly as possible, the quicker he'll become the Emperador del Norte). Max thinks that is ridiculous. How could that work without divulging his hand in it. Aldo assures him he can clean up his profile electronically so his name doesn’t appear, because he’s the expert and he knows how. Max says it’s a go. Aldo is all, como tu digas, uncle (and soon to be como YO digo).
He gets up to leave, but Max calls him back. Max knows all about the antro Aldo opened. Gulp. Before Aldo can pee in his pants, Max tells him not to worry. He’s proud that Aldo succeeded in what he set out to do for himself. He hands him a big yellow envelope with at least one fat check and the deed to one of his newer antro properties to reward his loyalty.
Aldo is now in a hurry to leave and slips about something important having to do with Janah which makes Max’ eyes bug out. Max wants to know what it is. We don’t know if he divulges that information or not.
TL Mansion – Roselena’s Calvary Preparation Room – RE is ritualistically putting on a penitent’s outfit (Non-itchy, white raw silk sackcloth outer garment by Balenciaga; exclusive twisted silken rope cincture, sold separately—made from royal silkworms and imported from Thailand). She sees the stigmata reflected in the mirror. She feels sublimely blessed by invisible pain and spiritually cleansed as blood runs down the palms of her hands. I am your chosen one, your child, your most beloved, she supplicates. Viewerville sees her hands and they are not pierced or bloody. Then we see her bandaging her imaginary wounds. She is drawn deeper into delusions of beatification.
La Casota Grande de Dios – The Wedding of Janah and Lorenzo - This is the first time Viewerville has been inside the sanctuary. Most of the time we’ve been confined to Padre Honesto’s roomy office in the sacristy. This is a very modern church (sorry, but it looks like an indoor sports arena with the exposed rafters to me), open to the outside and some kind of modern cross made of large stainless steel and copper tubing hanging from the ceiling—not unlike an abstract anvil.
Padre Honesto is in his wedding finery and everyone is waiting for the bride. Here she comes on Rodrigo’s arm. Lorenzo looks smashingly handsome and Janah looks beautiful, elegant beyond words and absolutely radiant. Her strapless white gown is modest, the bodice fitted, shaped and pleated across the bust, the softly flared, floor-length skirt encircled by cascades of narrow flounces. Her hair is pulled away from her face, curled and caught by a waist-length veil that falls down her back and pinned under her hair with an open white rose. She’s wearing tastefully chosen pearl-drop earrings and no jewelry around her neck. She’s carrying a small bouquet of deep purple flowers. Attending her is Melissa, who looks gorgeous in an above-the-knee royal blue, one-shouldered sheath dress with her hair swept up and curled. Alexia is the flower girl. She looks cute. She joins Luciana at the front and then they both sit down in the pews next to Rodrigo. (Only Mateo is missing to make the family complete.)

Don Aquiles has to horn in on my last recap. Procopio is reading the proclamation forgiving everyone’s debts to Don A. (It seems to me that the holdouts came off better than those hardworking souls who paid him off or made regular payments. Oh, well, it’s just a tn, it’s just a tn.) Everybody in Het Het is ecstatic.
El Día antes de la Boda
Conversation between DF and HetHet - Rod is trying to put Alexia’s hair in a chignon (moño). Alexia doesn’t want one. He’s on the phone with Luci at the same time wanting to know when she is returning. She’s not sure. She’s not even out of her funereal dress blacks yet. But she assures him she’ll be back for Lor’s wedding. Rod talks about the wedding, marriage and being with the one you love forever—but it sounds like he’s talking about the two of them. Luci breaks it off by telling Rod to put the moño on himself, not on Alexia and chuckles.
Paz, Magda and Violeta are back and Luci says they have to leave right away. Paz is still puzzled at having the wedding date moved up. Por ella soy Eva #93 11/28/12: A Mother's Love, Thought Bubbles, Andale, I've Fallen and Do Not Need Anyone to Get Up
Hi everyone and Happy Humpday!!
Our show starts out with Helena and Lalito talking about Juan Carlos and how Helena was sad when he died, and that he is not a bad person like Mad Dad says.
Pluti is trying to C.H.A. (cover his- you know the rest.) regarding the fraud. He wants to know who told Adriano this, Adriano replies one of the employees and he won’t say who. There will be an audit.
Fernando wasting time at his desk and Marsela comes and wants him to pay on the credit card with his extra money. Fernando does not want to hear her financial advice. Santi asks Ferni why haven’t you told Marsela about your bonus. Fernando gave him a ridiculous answer- in other words –when the money is gone, love ends. (I really lose brain cells, when I listen to Fernando, really- I guess that the character was to be comical but he is such a Neanderthal, that it’s not funny)
Juan is sharing all of the newspaper articles regarding the fraud of $3 million dollars with his mother. Eugenia vaguely remembers. He asked Modesto for help and he turned his back on him. Modesto did not want to have anything to do with him because Modesto was beyond reproach, a model citizen, incorruptible, had another family.
Juan swears that he is innocent, and he explains why Eva was born. Eugenia doesn’t understand what is going on with Adriano asking to marry him. She asks hi to tell her the truth. Did you take the money? He says no the only thing that he did was to deceive Helena as an Argentinean. He was trying to take credit for her Mayagua Beach project. She can’t believe that her son- Don Juan, Macho man is dressing like a woman. Eugenia doesn’t know how he will get out of this situation, but she does realize that he has learned a lot in Eva’s shoes. Juan says her shoes, but her wig, stockings, boobs, painted nails, make up, etc. Its ironic – Eva taught him to be a better man. He asks his mother if she has forgiven him. And she has.
Pluti (with his never-ending shiny suit collection) is at a restaurant with Oneismo- Pluti is worried about now being implicated for the fraud. He wants to know who is pointing the finger at him. Oneismo thinks that it is Rebeca. He wants Oneismo to investigate who is involved in the blame game. Pluti says that she can’t be that stupid.
A large bouquet of roses is delivered to Helena’s without a card- Helena thought bubbles back to the flowers that Juan Peron delivered. Helena says that the flowers belong in the garbage just like Juan.
Eugenia-scolds Juan for deceiving almost everyone including Helena. He told his mother that Helena knows that he is alive. Eugenia asks about Rebeca, because she knows that Eva is Juan. He was able to confuse her with Adriano so she doesn’t suspect him/her anymore. Eugenia asks about Pluti and Juan tells her that he opened up a bank account in her name. She is trying to remember.
Lalo is trying to talk to a distracted Helena about the meal. (Lalo is getting taller.) Silvia knows that something is wrong and asks Helena if she is okay. Helena wants to go over what Silvia will need for her bedroom in the new apartment. Yeah right, Helena is thinking about the new apartment.
Eugenia doesn’t remember anything about a bank account. She does forget things from time to time based on the treatments that she received. You have to try to win Helena back. But she won’t have anything to do with me. Eugenia asks if he is sure? How is she? He shows her photo. She remembers that Helena came to the house and she gave her the engagement ring that Juan had for her. Eugenia’s female intuition is always right- Helena still loves you!!!
Helena is thought bubbling the conversation at the beach that she had with Juan, where he was still proclaiming his love for her and his innocence. She thought bubbled- Pluti telling her that it is time to move on, Juan lies to her, deceives her. She thought bubbles to the party where the woman (I forgot her name) told them that she had aborted Juan’s baby. The conversation with Silvia about the time that she found Juan in Lalo’s room on the computer, Juan said that he was checking his emails. She thought that it was strange. Yeah just as strange as when Pluti had a mini temper tantrum when he found out that Helena went away and didn’t call. him- right???
Helena doesn’t know what to do. She dials an operator and hangs up.
At the Escuderos residence- Angelica wants her job as a semi pornographic underwear model to be respected. Santi is embarrassed because everyone at his job knows about her Tires- Bikini website and is gawking at her. Angelica says that they are just jealous. He wants her to find another job. (Once again, more brain cells are leaping out of my head) Angelica is happy that she is so admired. She wants to be treated like a queen. Ay vay!!! She needs to be introduced to his parents and the world needs to know that she is Mrs. Escudero. - Why??
Silvia is speaking in front of some type of support group. She puts on a strong front for her daughter but she feels ridiculous studying and she should just return to her husband. She tries to be strong, but she is not, she misses Mad Dad. She has been married for almost 35 years. (Wow, how old is Helena supposed to be? Early 30’s) She has lived over half of her life with Mad Dad. She is happy where she lives but its not her home and she is trying to support her daughter, but doesn’t want to suffer either.
Lucia is in the office working with Renato and wants attention. Renato had work to finish for Don Adriano. Lucia is whining about how she is going to miss him when he becomes Adriano’s assistant and will he miss her. (and there go more of my brain cells.)
Silvia doesn’t think that se is capable of forgetting her husband. She is still sad (grieving). The group leader encourages her to decide what she wants in regards to her relationship with Mad Dad.
Mad Dad is now angry at the light bulb and climbs on a table to change it. We all know where this is going. Both he and the light bulb fall, and it looks like he took a hard hit.
Renato asks Lucia, when is Helena going to return? Renato thinks that it very irresponsible of her to always disappear. (Well join the club; I’m not sure how this company stays in business with the lack of work.)
Here comes Rebeca, delivering paperwork for Helena on Mayagua Beach. (Don’t they have mail people to deliver the mail, or is Rebeca’s assignment to only to deliver to Helena and Pluti?) Rebeca tries to insult Renato but Lucia doesn’t take the bait. Rebeca is one miserable whench! Poor Lucia- as the song says- “Loving eyes, they can not see”. (from Everybody Plays The Fool)
Juan is desperate. He has never been in love like this. Fight for what you want. You are a much better person than before. Fight for her like a man and not a macho.
Helena’s phone rings, its Pluti. He didn’t call her because he didn’t want to bother her. -(Really- He is always bothering her!!!) That’s why he sent the roses. Helena was surprised that he sent them without a card. She thought that her father sent them. She thanks him and he tells her that it’s just a small gesture to let her know how much her loves her as Rebeca (who does not have any mail to deliver) is eavesdropping. Helena thought that he was trying to deceive her. Oh heavens, no, Pluti would never do that, not to her, Lalo or anyone in her family. Rebeca can’t contain herself. Helena deserves all of his respect and will no do anything to lose her. Helena is touched by his words, they mean so much to her. (Let me stop rolling my eyes, so that I can finish) Helena you sound angry. Is everything okay? Well Pluti- I have something very important to tell you.
Mad Dad is still lying on the floor; he awakes in pain and tries to stand up. Good thing he had on those heavy boots. He is able to get to the telephone, and calls someone for help.
Pluti wants to know- what do you need to tell me. Helena is crying. She is so moved that he loves her and he has never lied to her. She is so emotional in hearing his voice. He is on his way (My eyes hurt from the rolling)
Great- I have her eating out of my hands. Rebeca tells him that he has two left feet, how horrible, both in dance and in the bed. He has prohibited her from entering his office without knocking!! Get out!! She really seems scared. She lets him know that she heard his conversation and he is pathetic! Don’t be jealous Rebeca; Helena was able to do what you couldn’t do for 10 years. Make me fall in with love you! You leave a lot to be desired. As a woman. Rebeca isn’t jealous, she just wasted 10 years in a wreck of a romance. Remember that I have a compromising video, Pluti is so scared. Get out of my office. Rebeca can’t take the smell of his cheap colognes. With her he used good, except colognes, but with the social climber he uses stinky stuff (dog water)
Eugenia has spent all afternoon with Juan. She tells him that she wants to go back to acting and he congratulates. She doesn’t want to speak to Modesto and Juan doesn’t want her to drive alone, so he will go as Eva. They embrace. (The scenes with Juan and Eugenia helped me to recover some of my lost brain cells, because she was just what Juan and Eugenia needed.)
Helena, who a moment ago was so emotional and crying is now thrilled to hear that her mom is going out with the girls. Silvia feels a little guilty because there is much to do in regards to the move. The phone rings again, and Helena goes out of the running.
Silvia shares girl talk with members of her support group and their feelings validate hers. Silvia is happy to be able to speak freely.
Eugenia fixes up Eva who complains about the pain of the heels, wearing the make up etc. But it’s worth it in order to win back Helena.
Eugenia always wanted a daughter. Juan didn’t need to hear that. It was a joke. It was a cute exchange.
At the hospital Mad Dad is better now that Lalo is there. He misses him.
He took a hard fall and needs medicine doesn’t have a fracture and wants to go home alone. He tells Helena to butt out in front of Lalo.
Helena checks Mad Dad on the way that he spoke to her in front of Lalo and that he better get himself together. He doesn’t understand why Silvia his wife is not there with him. (He really bumped that head badly)
Helena understands that he is in pain but you are not going to insult my mother. He doesn’t need anyone. He could barely walk. Doctors don’t know anything all they want to do is to collect money.
Dona Silvia returns home and asks Lydia about Helena’s whereabouts. Lydia tells her that they are at the hospital. Pluti arrives and of course they are going to the hospital.
At Fernando’s house, Fernando is still talking about taking a vacation in Ixtapa. Marsela has a lot of work to complete so now is not the right time. The voice of the town, speaks. (The family) Marsela says no! Daniel invites himself to watch the kids. Huh?? Daniel is serious. Fernando doesn’t get it. Fool!!
Modesto scolds Eugenia for coming in late. Eva says that were having hamburgers and chatting. The brat recognizes Eva.
Coming attractions- Is Helena going to spill the beans to Adriano?

but her anguish is too great and she turns to him and cries as he embraces
her. So sad.
