PEAM, Tuesday 3/19/13 (#7): The Bleeping Perils of Fernando's Bleeping Package Bleep Bleep Bleep
Xochi stifles her rage as the other secretarias have the laugh of the century at Chucho in his ill-fitting uniform, a raspberry-colored wreck. Alma herself stops cold at the sight of it. Fernando joins in with some particularly withering comments and even takes a picture (and why does he want such a picture, hmmmm?).
(The secretarias are all so busy making fun of Chucho - do any of them notice the way Fernando dresses? He always looks like he's on his way to a "Miami Vice" fan club convention. That look was mockable enough even when it was actually in fashion. I think it's ten times more hilarious now.)
Alma rescues Chucho by inviting him into her office. Outside, Xochi offers to give the other secretarias the money she won on the bet (about whether he would get fired today or not) if they'll stop laughing. They pause for a moment as if to consider it, but they can't control themselves.
In Alma's office, Chucho half-jokingly suggests that the secretarias conspired with Cardenas and Fernando to get him this ridiculous uniform as revenge for his insulting remarks. Alma tells him it's really not that bad, but they both know she's only being nice. Chucho tries to be a good sport about it.
Then Alma says, "I know it's none of my business, but are you, um, well, are you gay?"

* Lo refrito: Victoria, the jealous Balvanera princess gets owned by Arriaga. “Yes, madam, you’re right, Opalina isn’t just my spiritual guide. Good night.” Vicky is impactada, and she deserved it.
* Lo nuevo: while Nikki is anxiously waiting for her BoyToyBoyfriend, the aforementioned young gentleman is in the middle of a threesome with two American girls (who surely won the award for the most horrible accent in a telenovela). He says he’s with his coach, and they are making arrengements to his next United States tournament. By the way, he hopes this time his beloved flaquita (skinny girl) will accompany him… as his wife. Neta gets a small heart attack, but manages to feign enthusiasm: oh, that’s great, she wants to marry him so much, and now she’s super happy. Really. Roy promises that as soon as he finishes there *yuck*, he’ll pick her up.

still in the briefcase she couldn't get. A reluctant Sherlock Juarez
arrives – with four men – to arrest her on charges of fraud.

Juarez says that the Associo por el Mejor Futuro claims she does
not work for them; she says she signed the documents in front of El
Diablo and Hissadora. Daniel says that they must be behind the accusation leading to this arrest. Becerra tells her not to worry; they will get
a good lawyer for her right away. Daniel tells her he will talk to
Teresa about getting her a lawyer. She seems to realize that El
Diablo is behind this arrest and thinks that this was an act of
revenge. Sherlock Juarez takes out the cuffs although he doesn't put them on her.

Keep your fingers crossed for a better second week that will
keep our esteemed colleagues on board while this plot is sorted out.
El refrito: Fernando threatens Jesus for wanting to leave
after everyone else has gone but Fernando gleefully hands this ridiculous work
schedule. He begs for reason from
the unreasonable so he can go see his daughter. The famous paws tighten into fists as Jesus reviews his
ignominious arrival before getting to Avon so he humbly says he respects his
boss and asks for the same and return.
El nuevo: With plenty of free time for hanky-panky and no
hanky-Paty in sight, Rogue taunts Alma with a romantic dinner invitation with
candles and flowers. She gives in
and they go off smiling and together for a change.

Now on to the recap. We start this epi with Nikki cuttin the cheese and then hiding it and Ms Vikki and Tomi come in and she assures her Mami that she is super fresh and mega cool. Ms Vikki wants to know about the therapy but Nikki so don't wanna talk about it, stalks off and Tomi tells Ms Vikki she will go after her. The Angel has come in, feeling bad about keeping secrets from Ms Vikki, but she really doesn't want to hear it. She isn't hurt by what he did, now if Tomi would keep things from her, she'd be upset, but hey, the Angel is only her bodyguard, not her friend, got that? Yeah, he gets it, but doesn't wanna. Pobrecito!

Amor Bravío #147 (Uni 142) Fri 3/15/13 The Battle for Bulls’ Run, Round Two: Gussie’s a Goner
Capítulo 147
~~Parte 1~~
Luzma wants to give up her claim to Pablo for the sake of a love
she cannot comply with. So, amidst much
soul-searching and serious sobbing, she unleashes the surrogate wife bomb on
Mayalen who, at first, tries refusing Luzma’s ridiculous suggestion.
Rodolfo, meanwhile, notices how agitated the spousally abused Pablo
is as he’s saddling his horse for himself for once. Rod’s job is to saddle the horses for his dueños
and cannot allow Pablo to injure himself (further) by improperly cinching the
saddle and falling off in mid-angry gallop. When Pablo yells that he can do it
himself, Rod offers a bit of free
marital counseling. “--Please her [dar gusto] instead, and give
her what she wants. Whatever it is won’t
last long [temporal= temporary, short duration] and she’ll get over it soon
enough.” (H-m-m-m, I don’t think being
subjected to surrogate wife-hopping is exactly what ol’ Rod had in mind,
though.)
“—But what if Pablo doesn’t want to or worse, what if he does get
hooked on me?” It’s gonna kill her when
he realizes there are other women out there to choose from and finally is gone,
Luzma sobs, but their marriage is not working and it isn’t his fault. He shouldn’t have to suffer like this! (How about just suggesting Luzma ask her psych
to double her meds and double up on her therapy sessions instead? Hmmm?) .
Maya weakens a bit and then finally relents. “—Are you sure this is what you want?” Yup, assures Luzma. She tells Luzma to count on her support then. (Something tells me it’s more like inside she’s
thinking, “--Just point the way and lemme at ‘im!”)

Amor Bravío #146 (Uni 141) Thu 3/14/13 Amor Despedido
Agustina walks in on
the face-sucking duo of Dio and Isa…in the bedroom! She gives Dio one good smack for it, then
starts telling Isadora off. Isadora is
unrepentant. Agustina threatens to tell
Cayetano, but Dio roughly pulls her back into the room and dismisses
Isadora. Before she leaves, she throws
it in Agustina's face that she was ridiculous to think a playa like Dio would
ever want her. "Tell her all about
our hot nights together under her roof!"
Agustina cries and asks why he married her if he never loved her.
Out in the hallway,
Isadora says it's about time Augie found out so she can have Dio to herself.
Agustina keeps
yelling at Dio, about having trusted him, taken him to La Malquerida, put him
above her daughters. Dio tells her to
shut it already. She enjoyed being with
him, so she can just cut it out.
Agustina demands to know how long he's been cheating on her. Dio won't answer. He's in the middle of a dinner to ask for his
daughter's hand, and no one's going to run in that for him, so she can shut up
the easy way or the hard way.
"What's the difference?"
Dio pulls out a tie and brandishes it in front of Agustina.

PEAM # 4-So Far The Qualities of the Avon Personnel- Silly, Immature, Rude and Horny
Alma is missing Rogelio, while Rogelio is doing the
horizontal mambo with Patti.
Jesus is talking to Chatita about being unemployed. He was offered his job but he doesn’t
want to be a secretary. Chatita asks if he dresses like a woman with those bulky
arms. No, no, no. He considered the secretarial job but he
is over qualified. Chatita tells
him with all of the unemployment, his financial needs and needs of his
daughter, he should be thankful that he has been offered a job. Its better to have something to save
than nothing.
The two small guards are stuck to Jesus who wants to speak
to Alma, who just arrived to the office.
Sorry to says but the only thing that those two inept guards could catch
is a cold.
Vero the zero, calls The Avon Company to find out what type
of job Jesus has, because when she asked him about his job he hesitated. She knows Jesus well and he knows
when he is lying. Elias (the saint, because she is a real pain) doesn’t like
the taste of the coffee and he gets a lecture about how coffee is not good for
you. It’s a drug that irritates the stomach. (She is beginning to irritate
me) He can’t add sugar because it
adds calories, and the milk should be skim. Vero asks for Jesus and the
secretary doesn’t know anyone by that name. Jesus enters the office, is scorned by the secretaries who
were insulted by his secretary results.
The secretary, who answered the phone, asks for his name- Jesus- hmm. She knew it, he was lying. (Vero must eat peppers for breakfast because
she is so mean.)
Jesus speaks to Alma and asks for her to forgive him in regards
to how he reacted to the secretarial job.
Alma tried to call him by cell, but he doesn’t have a cell phone. He apologizes
for acting like an ass. He wants
to know if the Executive Secretary of the Regional Vice President position is
still available. He has to stop
saying perdon.
Vero remembers that when they were dating he always lied.
(With her shining personality, I would wonder why) Elias, the voice of reason, tells Vero that she should
lighten up, maybe no one knows him because he is new. She knows when he is lying and Elias wants to give him
the benefit of the doubt.
Elias feels that he should be involved in his daughter’s life and Vero
disagrees. What a bitter
bitch!! He left her. Okay Elias gets it, but they still have
a daughter. She is stuck on the fact that he owes lots of back child support if
he wants to see his daughter.
The three silly men of the office want to check out who this
new secretary is. Once again
there is a lack of productive work taking place at a major company. They will
ask the secretaries. The hot pink
suits were gossiping about the ruckus that took place yesterday with the idiot. Susana doesn’t get Alma. The
secretaries are hoping that the man is not hired. He insulted them.
Yada, yada, yada. The three sillies couldn’t believe it and start asking
questions. They can’t understand
why Ms. Alma received him as if nothing happened. The 3 sillies are in disbelief.
Fernando is in the warehouse admiring Jessica’s legs while
she works, trying to get a whiff. Good
news- she can come back upstairs, he spoke to Alma.
Jesus is hired as the Secretary. A humbled Jesus thanks Alma for the job. Cardenas wants Jesus to wear the
secretary uniform- the hot pink (fuchsia) suit. Cardenas tries to size up Jesus, but his measurements are
off.
There is an electrical handshake between Alma and Jesus.
Fernando is going to help Jessica unpack her things. Alma wants to know why Jessica is back,
because Jesus Garcia is the new Secretary of the Regional Vice President. Everyone is laughing. Alma introduces Fernando because they
are going to share secretaries.
Jesus gets a cool reception from 2 of the 3 secretaries.
In Acapulco- Rogelio and Patti are still honeymooning. Patti wants to stay another day but
Rogelio has to get back to work. He calls Alma, and is miffed because Alma
doesn’t answer her phone. (Is he serious?)
Xochitil is the only one that speaks to Jesus. Jesus asks who is the one that is
shooting evil looks at him and is always in a bad mood- Susana, the Regional
Director’s secretary and the other one is Maricela.
Jesus answers the phone to a rude Rogelio, who yells and
curses at Jesus and demands to speak to Alma. He is the Director, Jesus tries to transfer the call and it
gets cut off which further infuriates Rogelio. Rogelio wants to know- who is the idiot that answered the
phone. (Rogelio, were you talking to yourself?) Rogelio didn’t know anything about him being hired and wants
him fired immediately. Rogelio is
quite bothered that Alma hired a male secretary.
A tearful Jessica is crying because she has been returned to
the warehouse. Fernando is
confident that the new secretary will not last. He will make his life miserable.
Jesus felt bad and asked forgiveness for messing up the
first call. Alma tells Jesus to
use the word perdon, sparingly. He
is to call her Alma. Alma wants to
know if Jesus needs any software.
The secretaries have been instructed not to speak to the new
secretary Jesus. Susana is very bothered that Jesus said that he is over
qualified. Rule number one- no one
defends Jesus. Jesus will not be
well received in this department and he will learn what secretaries are capable
of doing. (Besides gossiping, acting immature and wasting time.)
Jesus asks for the password for the computer and gets the sarcastic
treatment. They tell him that the
password is info Avon which is incorrect, Xochitil whispers- general03. Fernando calls Jesus to his
office. He didn’t respond because
Fernando called for a secreatria not a secretario. Fernando acts badly and intimidates Jesus because he is his
boss. He orders Jesus to bring him
a hot cup of coffee. Jesus doesn’t
know where the cafeteria is. He asks
the portrait of the Virgencita to help him and Xochitil points him in the right
direction. Jesus tries to make the
cup while Susana watches. She
starts with her sarcastic remarks about how he should be qualified enough to
make a cup of coffee. He
apologizes for his degrading remarks.
Susana doesn’t accept his apology.
Okay, I get it, he insulted the secretaries, they were hurt,
and he apologized so let’s move on.
This silent treatment is childish.
Jesus brings Fernando his coffee, it wasn’t in his cup and
Fernando has a hissy fit. Who knew that it was the giant neon green cup with
his picture on it? It was not hot
enough, this time it was hot enough but tasted terrible. The next cup was too cold,
Jesus wants to throw the coffee in his face and Jessica
knows how he likes his coffee and offers her help, in her teeny weenie
skirt. She shows him how to make
it sweet enough and hot enough.
She takes it to him. He
shows him how to fold the napkin too.
Of course, this time, it was perfect. Jessica tells Fernando that the new secretary is aggressive
and she told him what se heard Jesus says about throwing the coffee in his
face.
Fernando interrupts Alma to tattle on the new
secretary. Fernando tries to fire
Jesus and Alma tells him that he can’t fire him. He tells her how Jessica told him what Jesus said about disfiguring
his face by throwing coffee into it.
Fernando leaves the office since he didn’t get his way. Jesus says perdon once again and Alma
reminds him about the constant use of the word. Believe it of not she has more important things to do, so
she dismisses him.
Jessica thought that Jesus was fired, and Fernando tells her
that Alma took Jesus’ side.
Jessica starts to cry once again.
Fernando is going to call his brother because blood ids thicker than water. Rogelio is not a fan of the secretary
either. Fernando whines all types
of insults towards Jesus and Rogelio is on his way home.
Alma sends Jesus to lunch. He will bring her something to eat since she doesn’t have
time to eat. She is used to not
having lunch.
The four bitter secretaries are talking about Jesus as he
enters the cafeteria. His access
is denied. The three silly men
allow him to sit with them. They
tell him that he needs to bless his food.
They join hands for grace.
They introduce themselves Gilberto, Julio and Roberto, I will continue
to call them the 3 sillies. They
throw indirect insults about his manhood.
One silly asks him if he is from the other side and he takes it to mean
that he worked in Chicago. Another
silly asks if he likes men, and Jesus makes it clear, that he does not to the
enjoyment of the whole cafeteria, with the exception of Xochitil.
Coming attractions- Fernando is still calling Jesus Encanto,
Patti is drooling over Jesus and Rogelio is not too happy. Rogelio yells at a calm Jesus and wants
to fight him

Dio’s Den of Dishonor: Dio informs Agustina that they will be hosting an event at the house this evening – the asking of Novia Nat’s hand in marriage by Yucky Yago. He demands that Agustina make it an affair to remember. Agustina refuses to host if Isa is to attend because she cannot abide having Isa in her home. Dio demands she will do as he says or she can pack her bags and ….. Agustina shrinks back and agrees to do whatever she needs to do to please Don Demon Dio. Agustina thought bubbles her worries about how she will be able to keep up the façade of the host and housewife.
Living Room at La BV: Cayetano and Isa arrive home after Isa has been freed from the pokey. Isa complains she is tired and anxious to take a long hot shower after her ordeal in prison. Viewerville is anxious that she don any other age inappropriate apparel than what we have been looking at for the last few days. Bratgirl wanders in and Cayetonto introduces the two and they exchange pleasantries. For now. Yago wanders in and pleads a big favor from Pops and the new missus. He asks them to come with him to his future father-in-law’s place for phony pedida dinner tonight. This is the night he will be asking Nat’s parents for payola er, her hand in marriage. Cayetano hesitates, but Isa obliges, fake-graciously, leading viewerville to sniff a whiff of a rat in the vicinity of La BV.

Amores Verdaderos #86 Wed 3/13/13 The Adventures of Rocky & Bull Twinkie, the Special Chutzpah Edition
Old stuff: Polita and Lili are sighing over Frankie, Lili silently and
Polita aloud. Jean Marie spies on
Estéfano and Tomi. [Why isn't Balzac
barking like crazy? What kind of dog is
he anyway?] Nikki is still trying to be
honest with the psychologist. Alas, much
of what she believes to be true is a lie.
[But let us trust in the therapeutic process. Right, EJ?]
New stuff: Nikki tearfully confides to her shrink that
her only true amiga is Kendra; and
after being betrayed by the man she loved (that would be our boy Frankie), she
is back with good old, dependable, wouldn't hurt a fly Roy.
Clichés? Yeah, but sometimes they help.
The psychologist talks about her unhealthy relationship with
food. Nikki listens dutifully to the positive, love thyself message and agrees
to do her homework: every day, she'll write three good things about herself or
her life. He warns her not to make any
important life decisions until her illness is controlled. Vikki joins them at
the end of the session and agrees to support the principles of successful
therapy: patience and persistence.
Jean Marie knows
about the power of food too. He
plies Estéfano with a dessert so magnificent -- it's all in the quality of the
wine and the vanilla from Madagascar -- that the two men lock eyes, joined by
the magic of the moment. Tomi gapes in
wonder.

Cheers by the neighbors for Chucho - he is surprised and happy with welcome. He
enters the new apartment and looks around. He mutters to himself about Veronica, this
is a good enough place, he thinks. He sits down and remembers his meetings with Alma.
Chatita, in her apartment, reads a prayer on the back of a photo. She puts it down and
goes to living room, and starts to talk to a photo of her husband - she misses him and
her son so terribly.
At sunrise, Alma is sleeping in her bed. She wakes up. In slo-mo, Chucho wakes up
and discovers there’s no water or shower head; Alma slips into a bubble bath; Chucho
has to take a bucket bath.

Suddenly Brava Agustina does her best to convince Dionicio
that she’s on his side and wants only to be by his side. She’s tells him one day Camila will realize
her mistakes and ask their forgiveness.
She declares her love for him and she can’t live without him. Dionicio isn’t quite sure he should trust her
and thoughbubbles that he’s going to have to keep an eye on her. He tells her she did the right thing – her
place is there next to him.

PEAM #2, Tuesday 3/12/13: The Fateful Bucket of Love
Boy, Veronica wasn't kidding when she said Jesus could have five minutes with his daughter. If anything, she was exaggerating. I think the joyful reunion lasts about 90 seconds. She interrupts because it's time for night-night.
Valentina's full of questions for Jesus: Why are you crying? Why are you so hairy and grubby? "It's a long story," he says. Fortunately, she LOVES stories! She's excited to meet him and wants to know everything. She doesn't seem to mind that he looks like he fell off the back of a truck. She is very impressed when he tells her he came all the way from Los EEUU to see her.
Vero is a different story; she corrects the child's pronunciation of "viniste" (she said "veniste") and tells her again to go to bed. Jesus raises his eyes to Elias in a silent plea for support; Elias signals his powerlessness with a barely perceptible shake of his head.

PEAM #1, 3/11/13 – A Tale of Biceps, Yachts, Ben Franklins & a Blue-Eyed Angel
A just beginning has our hero passing through the restaurant
while being hailed by the customers and boss as ChuCho or Jesus, clearly the
favored of all. It is a lovely day
in Chicago for biceps on bikes to deliver pizzas to the populus. We see Jesus’ incomparably t-shirted
biceps handed a pizza then he gets on a bicycle that sounds like a motorbike
but is just a hunk-powered delivery bicycle. Drivers and casual bystanders shout out his name while he
assures them he is never late. He
seems to know what each customer really wants in terms of chili heat. I just bet he knows how much heat everyone
needs… oh, but where was I, it‘s way, way too early for hallucinating when
it’s only the first 5 minutes.

those blue balls aren’t gettin’ to be a passel of a hassle which New Gal Turned
Neighbor will undoubtedly be more than happy to assist in remedying for him,
should it come to that!
Inside
the cabana, Dan has started a new password-discovery program on Alonso’s
computer to try breaking the code. However,
it’s still not working. In walks Mir
with Aggie and Dante. Daddy makes “daddy’s
little girl” goo-goo eyes at her. Mir
mentions she’s going over with the baby to Mariano and Ana’s new digs to help
them move in. Dan says fine and she
leaves Dante there to keep him company.
They can talk to their hearts’ content [largo y tendida= at great
length] she tells them. When Mir’s gone,
Dan tells Dante that there, in her bedroom, he lives just to breathe the same
air as Camila.

Amores Verdaderos #83 Fri 3/8/13 The Solis Punching Bag makes it through another day as a free man thanks to his mommy, A child you love can't keep a secret, but at least Bea and Guillo are safe.

Refritis:
Leo mangling Bea with knife on her neck… lights go out. Leo goes out to check and when he opens door he is facing Dances’ gun… However, Leo manages to trip Dances to floor… Leo runs to Bea and uses her as shield.
Both Dances and Frankie point to him but just freeze there.
Paula is at hospital seeing Anibal, she manages to tell Anibal he has a 3rd daughter but tries several times to tell him her name, but he has another heart attack and Big Angel shoves her out with threats she will be responsible for Anyballs’ death.
Lo Nuevo:
Leo threats Bea will pay if they approach him. Meanwhile he insults Dances calling him a “sopilote”(bum/nobody) who will never have his woman. Dances barks back ‘when did she become your property?!’
Frankie tries to negotiate with Leo, saying if Bea does not want to be with Leo he can’t force her. Being married to her does not give him right to take her against her will. He kidnapped her. Somehow Frankie is getting closer to Leo as he tells Leo about Bea and Guillo being his family. When Leo stands up repeating the name ‘Guillo’ (surely he has a soft spot in that disturbed heart for his son), Frankie manages to grab the knife and punch Leo into the floor and then Dances starts using Leo as a punching bag with gun in hand. Dances asks Leo now where is your ‘courage’? Frankie has Bea in his arms. Frankie and Bea leave, while Dances tells an unconscious Leo(Dances is pushing his foot on Leo’s head pinching him on floor) to start praying, because maybe he won’t come alive from ‘this one’ (then scans around with his eyes… hmmm, maybe he intends on fulfilling the prediction personally).
Back at hospital, Vicky arrives, but does not recognize Paula as the piano teacher since Paula has scrubs complete with her face mask. Angel feels bad for having lied to Vicky about feeling ill, prays God for forgiveness because she did not prevent the confrontation with Senora Paula. Vicky feels awful since she could have avoided the confrontation with Adriana, then left for just a couple minutes and see what happened (the 2nd heart attack).
Doctor comes by tells her Anyballs is not conscious, Vicky wants to see him for a minute anyways so the Doc gives in. Doc and Vicky leave.
A nurse comes by and recognizes Angel as the model on the tv commercial and asks for an autograph. He responds ‘that is not me, I am Ms Vicky B’s bodyguard, THAT is me! (with a bit of pride in his tone in the end, how easily he forgot he was just apologizing to God for being a bad boy). Poor nurse, she was left alone siging and enchanted with just seeing him walk away.
Back at B/Arriaga apartment, Lili is worried about what Bea is going through. Cris tells her ‘mirror yourself in that so you will choose wisely a good man for a husband for yourself’. They discuss Frankie as being a good possibility. Lili’s hopes get deflated when Cris tells her she confirmed with Bea that Frankie is married. Lilli is not hungry. It was a strange day. Many things happened, wants to know how Adri is doing after she found the stones in her daughter’s grave. Cris gets miffed at Lilli worrying about Adriana. She lies saying she is worried that Angel has not reported in all day. Lilli tells her when they were at cemetery she felt like hugging Cris. Cris gets her spirits up and they embrace in a nice loving hug.
At hospital chapel, Adri is praying to the virgin that no one knows her sorrows like her. But only ANyballs can answer her questions. Please don’t take him away yet. Will not be able to forgive him, ever.
At Anyballs bed, Vicky is crying, tells him he is a very strong man, fight for your life. We all need you. Know lately we have had differences, but my love for you is intact. ‘I know you will talk to Adriana and will clear her doubts. What happened with Lucia, where she is…’ you can’t go leaving my sister sunk in the anguished darkness.
Back at B house, Niki is handling the stress in her favorite way, with a multi-level tray of cakes and cookies with chocolate syrup. In comes Roy with wine and freezes at the sight of her swallowing cake pieces whole… she comes up with the excuse of her stress. Grandpa dying, family breaking down… Roy mentions family might fight for the Anyballs inheritance. Niki does not appreciate the comment, in her own special vocabulary… ‘zero que ver con tu comentario, neta!...’ he is sure Anyballs put her as his universal heir(even adding his own vocabulary referring to Niki as Anyballs’ ‘consen’ (consentida))… Niki gets even more irritated. ‘que onda con tu planeta? Se salio de orbita o que?’ She says its real bad taste to talk money when someone is so gravely ill. She does not care about the money, only that ‘mi tatito’ stays alive. Roy pushes on, saying he would love for Anyballs to be there at their wedding… Niki pulls away and he stops pushing buttons. But immediately is miffed at her for constantly rejecting him. She apologizes (FOR WHAT???!!), feeling ill, he gets a bit slurpy kissing her face. I understand. I have loved you all my life. You are no. 1 in my rank list, flaquita. (OH PLEEEEZZ!!! Someone hand me over a puke bag please!!)
Frankie and Bea on street by Leo’s mom’s place, saying Dances and Leo are taking too long. They are worried of The grannie not turning over Guillo if Leo takes too long. Suddenly, Leo’s car comes with Leo driving and Dances in back seat. Frankie gets Leo out and drags him around some more. Dances warns Leo ‘you know what you need to do, you better do what I told you, or you won’t have time to talk about it.’ Inside, Guillo is asking Grannie when will dad come for him. Loud door knocks, and Grannie hides Guillo and looks worried hesitating to open the door.
Back at B/A apartment, Cris and Lilli still worried. Paula arrives. Needed to talk to someone. Cris asks if she heard about what happened to Bea. Pau asks where was she. When Cris tells her Leo had kidnapped her, Paula goes beserk. Grabs Lilli and yells that Leo is very violent, will kill her!!. Cris tells her that Dances got a call and he and Frankie went to get her. And if Angel knew about it he would have gone along, but he is too busy, been MIA all day, maybe he has been doing the powwow with his boss lady. Paula tells Cris he is at the clinic. Cris gets alarmed, Paula clarifies ANyballs had a heart attack. Paula cries saying everytime something is going on with my kids, I am with Anyballs!!. She confirms to Cris and Lilli that Bea and Frankie are her children. Cris and Lilli’s jaws are all over the carpet, they are in shock.
Back to Guillo’s Grannies… Bea comes in asking for Guillo. GUillo comes out of hiding and hugs her. Then he notices her bumps and bruises all over her face and gets sad. Leo, Frankie and Dances are also standing around. Bea asks him if he noticed who else came to see him. Frankie hugs Guillo very lovingly. Guillo tells him he has news, his parents got back together. Frankie gets sad and tells him that his dad (Leo) has something to tell him.
Dances, who is standing behind Leo, pokes him with the gun and reminds him on what they agreed. Then steps away. Leo greets Guillo his usual way (Cachorro), then tells him he and Bea were talking and realized they can’t be together. Guillo is sad. He insists he loves them both. Leo hugs him, Guillo is still denying it as true. Then begins to cry as Leo explains it is normal to get sad when parents split. You are brave, you just have to work with it. There will be changes but it will be like when we went to watch your (futbol) games together. IT will be same, but after the game you will go home with Mom. Bea comes over and tries to console a devastated Guillo. Slowly you will get used to it, and all you need to remember that for your dad and me you will always be the center of our lives. Bea asks Guillo to kiss dad goodbye. Guillo hugs Leo as if he did not want to let go. Leo reminds him to think he is the son of Leo Solis. Frankie gets Guillo back off Leo, then tells him that Dances will take him to the car while Frankie and Mommy talk to dad. (Dances takes him away).
F: Now we will talk!
L: I did my part already.
F: Yeah, you returned Guillo to Bea. But what about all the years of abuse!, of violence you gave her! The hours of anguish she lived not knowing about her son?? And the time you had her kidnapped??!!
L: Look, lil’l BIL!!! I am fed up with you!
F: And to wrap it up…
L: What are you going to do now?
F: Call the police to accuse you for what you did to Bea, because kidnapping implicates jailtime!! (Grannie screaches in horror)
At hospital, Vicky tells Adriana that Anyballs will be alright. Doc says he will have meds for the rest of his life, he needs to stop smoking and do exercise, and most importantly, we have to avoid him any traumas/strong emotions.
Adri asks when Anyballs will be released. Doc says don’t know. He is still in ICU but recommend you all go get some rest. (Doc leaves)
Adri cannot be convinced in ‘waiting’. ‘I have waited 18 years, hasn’t that been enough? … it is easy for you to talk, because you have your daughter at your side.’ Vicky says she understands her anguish and also wants to know what happened to Lucia but don’t want my dad to die. I am sure you don’t either. Please, wait a bit longer. (Adri is not convinced and shoves Vicky’s hand away) alright, will wait, but let it be known I am doing it for you, not for him. (leaves)
Vicky asks Angel if it is so wrong/evil to ask Adri to wait. Angel says what is right and what is wrong/evil? You are fighting for the life of your dad. Ms Adriana is fighting to find her daughter. Both of you are right. But what is right and what is wrong/evil?
Back to Leo’s house, Grannie pieads to Frankie for Leo. ‘your son commited a crime and has to pay!’.. Grannie goes to Bea to try her luck with her.
L: IF what you want is to see me on my knees begging you, it won’t happen!
(to Bea) see what you caused?
B: No, you are wrong, Leo!! All I want is for you to forget about having me, please!! And to be a good dad for Guillo! That’s all I want!
(Frankie has to push Leo off Bea again)
L: Your brother and your ‘friend with rights/privileges’ really collected on me nicely! First they push me to return my son! And now you all want to lock me up in jail(al bote). (Frankie has heard enough)
F: You have been following Bea. You threatened her and ended up kidnapping her!! But it is over!
Grannie found her voice: My son is very impulsive (atrabancado), but he has done it all for love!!
F: Please, you asked for it on your own!
Frankie has the phone in his hand and begins to dial the police. Leo pushes his mother off from between them. Leo goes for the phone and he and Frankie begin to wrestle. Grannie grabs a huge vase(nice attention to detail on props staff, the flowers in it are plastic, dollar store flowers, and cheap vinyl curtains with flowers on them) and smashes it on Frankie’s head and back, leaving him unconscious and yells at Leo to run away(he kisses her forehead and runs out), while Bea tends to Frankie, yelling at Grannie ‘what did you do?? What did you do, Senora??! Grannie replies ‘he is my son!!’. Frankie is unconscious. (what?? No blood with that huge heavy vase?? Heads bleed from someone just blowing on them!!’)
At apartment, Paula has finished telling Cris and Lilli the story. Cris tells her you are a neverending surprise bag. But why do you always lie? Lilli asks why not tell them about Bea and Frankie being her children? … Paula says she was trying to protect Anyballs. Frankie is very impulsive and proud. He would never have forgiven him that she was lover of Anyballs, the owner of the house he works at. And he is still ignoring it. Can’t even imagine what will happen when he finds out. Door knocks. Guillo comes in, along with Dances. They ask him for Frankie. Guillo says Frankie stayed behind to talk to my dad. My parents will divorce. Then he talks to Paula as his ‘abue’ and goes to hug her. Dances notices Guillo calling Paula ‘Abue’, Lilli tells him she is Bea and Frankie’s mom.
Lilli takes Guillo away to show him some flowers (Gertrudis).
Paula asks Dances about Bea and Frankie. Dances says they must be at police station.
Meanwhile, Adriana is ringing bell at Paula’s place. Of course she is at Cristina’s. Adriana remembers Paula yelling at her at hospital ‘go ahead, spill your hatred!! But then don’t come looking for me to ask what happened with your daughter!!’
Back at Leo’s… Bea tending to Frankie with ice on a towel. Grannie is apologizing, she could not allow them to lock up her son in jail. He is all I have. ‘Betty, you know how much he loves you’.
B: Aida(Grannie’s name), Leo is ill. What he feels for me is not love. He had no right to take Guillo away from me and to retain me on threats and cruelty.
Grannie: Forgive him! You are a mother like me. IF my son goes to jail, what will I live for? … Frankie, we have been family.
F: Dona Aida, I can’t risk Leo harming my sister again.
G: But after all that has happened today, you think he will dare do anything again? Please have compassion! Please!!...
Bea tells a disbelieving Frankie that she won’t accuse Leo. Leo can be whatever… but she does not want to cause Guillo an even stronger pain when he finds out his dad is in jail.
Back at B house, Niki and Vicky talk about Anyballs health, don’t want him to die. He is strong. He will get better soon. Vicki changes the subject to Niki. A few days ago Roy did not exist, and now he ‘lives’ here. Niki says since they were kids Roy ‘lived’ in the house. They would take him along on trips. Vicki admits Roy is son of her best friend. Nice but a bit unstable. A bit superficial (on right track, you are way short there). And I don’t think he is the ideal man for you. I am even surprised about your relationship, you are even talking wedding. Niki says don’t hallucinate. He loves me and I do too. Let’s see what happens. Vicky says ok. Niki says everything is ok. She is happy Roy returned. Vicky asks what is Roy’s rank.. friend? Boyfriend? Or formal boyfriend (Fiancee)? … one more question. What about Guzman? .. Niki says what I lived before Roy is not important. Roy is my present and what I want to live. Vicky leaves it there and suggests they go downstairs to eat, takes some convincing but Niki gives in.
At B kitchen, Polita and JM talk about Anyballs getting through it. They are sad Anyballs won’t eat chicharron (Fried pork skins) anymore. Greek salad with goat cheese… yum!! .. JM and Tomasina talk a bit too much about Niki eating the salad being good for her. Polita asks what is wrong with Niki’s health that suddenly she is going to doctors and taking meds. Tomasina says that due to all the dieting Niki has not eaten very well lately. Polita comes up with her own diagnosis, worms in her stomach. Then Polita says she misses Frankie, hopes he is having a good time with his family. The subject moves on to Felipe’s debt, how did he pay? … not sure but not important. Polita makes a comment about Frankie’s hard times with Niki (la ricitos de oro), leaves pacing like a French maid with a ‘Con per mua’ (LOL!!)
Angel is on cell phone with Cristina trying to explain ‘the day he had’… with Anyballs heart attack. Cris asks how is he. Angel says better, but still in ICU and not allowing visitors. Cris tells him about the kidnapping rescue Frankie and Dances did. And now the gossip queen in Cris can’t resist telling him also about Paula’s secret being Frankie and Bea’s mom.
At dinner table, Niki is reluctantly eating. Niki notices Vicky is a bit sad.
Vicky tells her she loves her.
Meanwhile, Paula asks Dances to not tell anything to her son. Dances says ok. Lilli asks Dances if he is sure they made sure Guillo did not see anything violent. Dances says Frankie and him ensured Guillo would not realize the kind of father he has. Then Lilli asks about ANyballs. And gets a pain in her chest when Dances explains Anyballs got ill when he argued with Adri about her child. Right then Frankie and Bea arrive. Lilli gets worried. Bea says she is ok thanks to Frankie and Bea. Frankie tells Dances Bea won’t accuse Leo.
Bea thanks Dances for all he did. Dances says you can count on me always.
Paula comes out… greets Bea lovingly. Frankie has a grumpy face realizing now he will have to give Dances some explanations (his and Bea being Paula’s kids)

She lies saying she is worried that Angel has not reported in all day. Lilli tells her when they were at cemetery she felt like hugging Cris. Cris gets her spirits up and they embrace in a nice loving hug.
At hospital chapel, Adri is praying to the virgin that no one knows her sorrows like her. But only ANyballs can answer her questions. Please don’t take him away yet. Will not be able to forgive him, ever.
At Anyballs bed, Vicky is crying, tells him he is a very strong man, fight for your life. We all need you. Know lately we have had differences, but my love for you is intact. ‘I know you will talk to Adriana and will clear her doubts. What happened with Lucia, where she is…’ you can’t go leaving my sister sunk in the anguished darkness.
Back at B house, Niki is handling the stress in her favorite way, with a multi-level tray of cakes and cookies with chocolate syrup. In comes Roy with wine and freezes at the sight of her swallowing cake pieces whole… she comes up with the excuse of her stress. Grandpa dying, family breaking down… Roy mentions family might fight for the Anyballs inheritance. Niki does not appreciate the comment, in her own special vocabulary… ‘zero que ver con tu comentario, neta!...’ he is sure Anyballs put her as his universal heir(even adding his own vocabulary referring to Niki as Anyballs’ ‘consen’ (consentida))… Niki gets even more irritated. ‘que onda con tu planeta? Se salio de orbita o que?’ She says its real bad taste to talk money when someone is so gravely ill. She does not care about the money, only that ‘mi tatito’ stays alive. Roy pushes on, saying he would love for Anyballs to be there at their wedding… Niki pulls away and he stops pushing buttons. But immediately is miffed at her for constantly rejecting him. She apologizes (FOR WHAT???!!), feeling ill, he gets a bit slurpy kissing her face. I understand. I have loved you all my life. You are no. 1 in my rank list, flaquita. (OH PLEEEEZZ!!! Someone hand me over a puke bag please!!)
Frankie and Bea on street by Leo’s mom’s place, saying Dances and Leo are taking too long. They are worried of The grannie not turning over Guillo if Leo takes too long. Suddenly, Leo’s car comes with Leo driving and Dances in back seat. Frankie gets Leo out and drags him around some more. Dances warns Leo ‘you know what you need to do, you better do what I told you, or you won’t have time to talk about it.’ Inside, Guillo is asking Grannie when will dad come for him. Loud door knocks, and Grannie hides Guillo and looks worried hesitating to open the door.
Back at B/A apartment, Cris and Lilli still worried. Paula arrives. Needed to talk to someone. Cris asks if she heard about what happened to Bea. Pau asks where was she. When Cris tells her Leo had kidnapped her, Paula goes beserk. Grabs Lilli and yells that Leo is very violent, will kill her!!. Cris tells her that Dances got a call and he and Frankie went to get her. And if Angel knew about it he would have gone along, but he is too busy, been MIA all day, maybe he has been doing the powwow with his boss lady. Paula tells Cris he is at the clinic. Cris gets alarmed, Paula clarifies ANyballs had a heart attack. Paula cries saying everytime something is going on with my kids, I am with Anyballs!!. She confirms to Cris and Lilli that Bea and Frankie are her children. Cris and Lilli’s jaws are all over the carpet, they are in shock.
Back to Guillo’s Grannies… Bea comes in asking for Guillo. GUillo comes out of hiding and hugs her. Then he notices her bumps and bruises all over her face and gets sad. Leo, Frankie and Dances are also standing around. Bea asks him if he noticed who else came to see him. Frankie hugs Guillo very lovingly. Guillo tells him he has news, his parents got back together. Frankie gets sad and tells him that his dad (Leo) has something to tell him.
Dances, who is standing behind Leo, pokes him with the gun and reminds him on what they agreed. Then steps away. Leo greets Guillo his usual way (Cachorro), then tells him he and Bea were talking and realized they can’t be together. Guillo is sad. He insists he loves them both. Leo hugs him, Guillo is still denying it as true. Then begins to cry as Leo explains it is normal to get sad when parents split. You are brave, you just have to work with it. There will be changes but it will be like when we went to watch your (futbol) games together. IT will be same, but after the game you will go home with Mom. Bea comes over and tries to console a devastated Guillo. Slowly you will get used to it, and all you need to remember that for your dad and me you will always be the center of our lives. Bea asks Guillo to kiss dad goodbye. Guillo hugs Leo as if he did not want to let go. Leo reminds him to think he is the son of Leo Solis. Frankie gets Guillo back off Leo, then tells him that Dances will take him to the car while Frankie and Mommy talk to dad. (Dances takes him away).
F: Now we will talk!
L: I did my part already.
F: Yeah, you returned Guillo to Bea. But what about all the years of abuse!, of violence you gave her! The hours of anguish she lived not knowing about her son?? And the time you had her kidnapped??!!
L: Look, lil’l BIL!!! I am fed up with you!
F: And to wrap it up…
L: What are you going to do now?
F: Call the police to accuse you for what you did to Bea, because kidnapping implicates jailtime!! (Grannie screaches in horror)
At hospital, Vicky tells Adriana that Anyballs will be alright. Doc says he will have meds for the rest of his life, he needs to stop smoking and do exercise, and most importantly, we have to avoid him any traumas/strong emotions.
Adri asks when Anyballs will be released. Doc says don’t know. He is still in ICU but recommend you all go get some rest. (Doc leaves)
Adri cannot be convinced in ‘waiting’. ‘I have waited 18 years, hasn’t that been enough? … it is easy for you to talk, because you have your daughter at your side.’ Vicky says she understands her anguish and also wants to know what happened to Lucia but don’t want my dad to die. I am sure you don’t either. Please, wait a bit longer. (Adri is not convinced and shoves Vicky’s hand away) alright, will wait, but let it be known I am doing it for you, not for him. (leaves)
Vicky asks Angel if it is so wrong/evil to ask Adri to wait. Angel says what is right and what is wrong/evil? You are fighting for the life of your dad. Ms Adriana is fighting to find her daughter. Both of you are right. But what is right and what is wrong/evil?
Back to Leo’s house, Grannie pieads to Frankie for Leo. ‘your son commited a crime and has to pay!’.. Grannie goes to Bea to try her luck with her.
L: IF what you want is to see me on my knees begging you, it won’t happen!
(to Bea) see what you caused?
B: No, you are wrong, Leo!! All I want is for you to forget about having me, please!! And to be a good dad for Guillo! That’s all I want!
(Frankie has to push Leo off Bea again)
L: Your brother and your ‘friend with rights/privileges’ really collected on me nicely! First they push me to return my son! And now you all want to lock me up in jail(al bote). (Frankie has heard enough)
F: You have been following Bea. You threatened her and ended up kidnapping her!! But it is over!
Grannie found her voice: My son is very impulsive (atrabancado), but he has done it all for love!!
F: Please, you asked for it on your own!
Frankie has the phone in his hand and begins to dial the police. Leo pushes his mother off from between them. Leo goes for the phone and he and Frankie begin to wrestle. Grannie grabs a huge vase(nice attention to detail on props staff, the flowers in it are plastic, dollar store flowers, and cheap vinyl curtains with flowers on them) and smashes it on Frankie’s head and back, leaving him unconscious and yells at Leo to run away(he kisses her forehead and runs out), while Bea tends to Frankie, yelling at Grannie ‘what did you do?? What did you do, Senora??! Grannie replies ‘he is my son!!’. Frankie is unconscious. (what?? No blood with that huge heavy vase?? Heads bleed from someone just blowing on them!!’)
At apartment, Paula has finished telling Cris and Lilli the story. Cris tells her you are a neverending surprise bag. But why do you always lie? Lilli asks why not tell them about Bea and Frankie being her children? … Paula says she was trying to protect Anyballs. Frankie is very impulsive and proud. He would never have forgiven him that she was lover of Anyballs, the owner of the house he works at. And he is still ignoring it. Can’t even imagine what will happen when he finds out. Door knocks. Guillo comes in, along with Dances. They ask him for Frankie. Guillo says Frankie stayed behind to talk to my dad. My parents will divorce. Then he talks to Paula as his ‘abue’ and goes to hug her. Dances notices Guillo calling Paula ‘Abue’, Lilli tells him she is Bea and Frankie’s mom.
Lilli takes Guillo away to show him some flowers (Gertrudis).
Paula asks Dances about Bea and Frankie. Dances says they must be at police station.
Meanwhile, Adriana is ringing bell at Paula’s place. Of course she is at Cristina’s. Adriana remembers Paula yelling at her at hospital ‘go ahead, spill your hatred!! But then don’t come looking for me to ask what happened with your daughter!!’
Back at Leo’s… Bea tending to Frankie with ice on a towel. Grannie is apologizing, she could not allow them to lock up her son in jail. He is all I have. ‘Betty, you know how much he loves you’.
B: Aida(Grannie’s name), Leo is ill. What he feels for me is not love. He had no right to take Guillo away from me and to retain me on threats and cruelty.
Grannie: Forgive him! You are a mother like me. IF my son goes to jail, what will I live for? … Frankie, we have been family.
F: Dona Aida, I can’t risk Leo harming my sister again.
G: But after all that has happened today, you think he will dare do anything again? Please have compassion! Please!!...
Bea tells a disbelieving Frankie that she won’t accuse Leo. Leo can be whatever… but she does not want to cause Guillo an even stronger pain when he finds out his dad is in jail.
Back at B house, Niki and Vicky talk about Anyballs health, don’t want him to die. He is strong. He will get better soon. Vicki changes the subject to Niki. A few days ago Roy did not exist, and now he ‘lives’ here. Niki says since they were kids Roy ‘lived’ in the house. They would take him along on trips. Vicki admits Roy is son of her best friend. Nice but a bit unstable. A bit superficial (on right track, you are way short there). And I don’t think he is the ideal man for you. I am even surprised about your relationship, you are even talking wedding. Niki says don’t hallucinate. He loves me and I do too. Let’s see what happens. Vicky says ok. Niki says everything is ok. She is happy Roy returned. Vicky asks what is Roy’s rank.. friend? Boyfriend? Or formal boyfriend (Fiancee)? … one more question. What about Guzman? .. Niki says what I lived before Roy is not important. Roy is my present and what I want to live. Vicky leaves it there and suggests they go downstairs to eat, takes some convincing but Niki gives in.
At B kitchen, Polita and JM talk about Anyballs getting through it. They are sad Anyballs won’t eat chicharron (Fried pork skins) anymore. Greek salad with goat cheese… yum!! .. JM and Tomasina talk a bit too much about Niki eating the salad being good for her. Polita asks what is wrong with Niki’s health that suddenly she is going to doctors and taking meds. Tomasina says that due to all the dieting Niki has not eaten very well lately. Polita comes up with her own diagnosis, worms in her stomach. Then Polita says she misses Frankie, hopes he is having a good time with his family. The subject moves on to Felipe’s debt, how did he pay? … not sure but not important. Polita makes a comment about Frankie’s hard times with Niki (la ricitos de oro), leaves pacing like a French maid with a ‘Con per mua’ (LOL!!)
Angel is on cell phone with Cristina trying to explain ‘the day he had’… with Anyballs heart attack. Cris asks how is he. Angel says better, but still in ICU and not allowing visitors. Cris tells him about the kidnapping rescue Frankie and Dances did. And now the gossip queen in Cris can’t resist telling him also about Paula’s secret being Frankie and Bea’s mom.
At dinner table, Niki is reluctantly eating. Niki notices Vicky is a bit sad.
Vicky tells her she loves her.
Meanwhile, Paula asks Dances to not tell anything to her son. Dances says ok. Lilli asks Dances if he is sure they made sure Guillo did not see anything violent. Dances says Frankie and him ensured Guillo would not realize the kind of father he has. Then Lilli asks about ANyballs. And gets a pain in her chest when Dances explains Anyballs got ill when he argued with Adri about her child. Right then Frankie and Bea arrive. Lilli gets worried. Bea says she is ok thanks to Frankie and Bea. Frankie tells Dances Bea won’t accuse Leo.
Bea thanks Dances for all he did. Dances says you can count on me always.
Paula comes out… greets Bea lovingly. Frankie has a grumpy face realizing now he will have to give Dances some explanations (his and Bea being Paula’s kids)

Dances tells Frankie if he finds out Leo tried anything with Bea
Angel and Vicky have an intimate moment.

Amor Bravío #141 (Uni 136) Thu 3/7/13 Amor Despierto
It's been quite a long day, so I'm going to be summarizing a lot more than usual. I'll slow it down if anything really important comes up….
Dionisio knows that Agustina is working to get evidence that he's Hector Gutierrez. Dio mentally vows revenge. Agustina is jumpy when he comes into the room finally…her beanie may be slipping because she actually notices he's looking at her strangely.
Vivi, Rafa, and Aaron report on the day's progress at getting Isadora thrown in jail for good. Leoncio's testimony just wasn't compelling enough, but hopefully Amanda's and her neighbor's will be. Miriam enters and has Caridad bring baby Agatha (poor kid…that name's going to suck when she grows up) to the window so Daniel can wave and croak at her…good thing she's not in the room or that might have freaked her out.
Osvaldo will be at Amanda's early tomorrow to escort her to the police station to give her testimony.

The business associates of G.I. are scandalized by the video of Pluto and Rebeca in the jacuzzi reenacting Disney characters in such a perverse manner, and they get up to leave. Rebeca tries to stop them justifying that they're going to formalize their relationship soon, but the associates are having none of it. Pluto is furious. Rebeca tells him that now more than ever they have to marry, but Pluto shouts that he's never going to marry her. He dismisses Renato, who says he'll be in his office, but Pluto is firing him! Renato smiles and swoops up a water bottle in that symbolic gesture that Julie explained but whose meaning I've again forgotten. Rebeca threatens Pluto with giving his fake passports to JC, unless he agrees to marry her. He tells her she's playing with fire, and he looms in menacingly. She back peddles, saying that instead of a fancy wedding she'll be happy with a simple one, say, 100 people or so.

I'm behind the beat here because I've been very busy with another project and then the flu. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! As the anvils are whistling past our ears on Por ella we are assembling a new crew for the Colunga comedy "Porque el amor manda" - Ezra and I are stepping down and Wednesday and Thursday slots are available - unless somebody has already told me they're stepping up and I have spaced it out. Amor Bravío #140 (Uni 135) Wed 3/6/13 “Vacuna Victory. Today’s Score: Good Guys – 1 Dio - 0 ”
Part 1: As we begin tonight's capitulo.....
Camila’s Cabana: Miriam, Vivi and Cam stand in Camila’s bedroom as Camila gives them the good news that Dan is in recovery, his pulse is strong and his fever is gone. Miriam goes to Dan’s bedside as he wakes up. Cami steps back and they exchange places. Dan appears to look at Miriam and yet sees a fuzzy Camila. He is groggy and asks “What am I doing here love, I love you”. But who is Dan directing the “te amo” to - Miriam or the Cami mirage? A disoriented Dan sees Miriam lean closer and hears her respond to him, “Te amo tambien”. Suddenly, Dan is not quite so disoriented and aware that he narrowly dodged a truth bullet. Camila explains to Dan that he contracted the virus, and that Miriam has been able to obtain the vaccine to cure him. Miriam gives praises to Camila as she adds that Camila has bravely been caring for him in the cabana. Dan wonders how a city girl like Miriam could have gotten her hands on rare bull pneumonia vaccines that no one else in Mexico could (TN medicine Dan). Miriam explains that she noted the information, sent it to Abe and told him to move heaven and earth to get the vaccine, pronto (while playing the guilt card just a teensy tiny bit). “Of course”, groans Dan adding that Abe would do anything for Miriam. Miriam replies that Abe knows how much she loves Dan and that she would do anything to save his life. As Miriam plants a smooch on Dan, Camila and Viv have “awkward!” written on their mask covered faces.

Por ella soy Eva #160 3/6/13: Adriano is Dead, I Think!!! Not Everyone Wants to be a Macho Man
Helena tells her mother that she is pregnant with Juan Carlos’ baby. Silvia wants to know if se is going to tell Juan Carlos and she doesn’t think that the time is right. She is not ready to tell Lalo either. Lalo asks if she s going to forgive Juan?? He knows that she doesn’t like likes but he doesn’t like to see his mother like this.
Helena goes to the hospital and of course Pluti is stalking- oops waiting. Oh, he hasn’t slept a wink worrying about Adriano. Pleeeease!! Helena wants to see Adriano but the nurse tells her that she can go in when his visitor leaves. The visitor leaves and it’s the investigator. Pluti looks worried and wants to make sure that in Adriano’s delicate condition he is not worrying about work. The investigator says that it’s a personal visit because Adriano is a friend. (I smell an anvil) The investigator has nothing more to do with Grupo Imperio.
Teflon Modesto is with his other kids and he wants to begin the process of changing their last names to his- Caballero. It’s the least that he can do. Teflon is acting human for a change and taking time to get involved.
Helena visits with Adriano who is glad to see her. He asked the investigator to have her come in. He urgently wants to see Juan Carlos. Juan Carlos deceived both of us and he wanted to know how Helena was feeling? She feels destroyed. She knew for a while that he was alive but she didn’t think that he would deceive her. She is hurt, furious and she is deceived. She didn’t know that he was Eva. She is pregnant with Juan Carlos’ s baby. Adriano tells her to be strong because sooner or later it will all work out.
Pluti is singing his-die already song and he hears Helena come behind him and he stops singing. Jerk!!!! He asks- how is his brother in law and Helena tells him that he is pretty bad and she didn’t really want to talk to him. The doctor comes over to them because he needs permission to perform surgery on Adriano immediately. A test revealed a severe heart problem. Pluti authorizes the surgery. It’s a high-risk operation and Adriano may not survive. Pluti tells Adriano to die calmly because he has been ready for years to take his place. Jerk!!! OMG!!! Adriano died. Poor Mimi, (the Oscar for best actor goes to Pluti) -Pluti blames Santi, Fernando and Juan Carlos for his BIL’s death. Oh he just can’t bear the pain and gives Helena a bear hug. (That should have been her clue to run as fast as she can)
Juan Carlos reads about Adriano’s death in jail and blames himself.
How sad!!!
At the funeral, Pluti can barely contain himself, asshat!!!! My heart goes went out to Mimi. She really loves Adriano. (Something is bothering me. When the investigator left, why didn’t Adriano ask to see Pluti, he asked to see Helena. ) Oh no, Pluti has to be strong and forge ahead because he is completely alone, and Helena falls for the crap. (Listen Helena I get it that you are hurt Juan Carlos duped you yet again but honey let’s not forget everything that went on, Pluti has lied to you and to everyone else) With everything that has been going on she has realized that she wrong about him (I guess that was a game when he manhandled you in your office and wouldn’t let you leave) He has always been at her side so she will be there for him. Forgive her! He has never stopped loving her- seriously??? (I had to rewind this scene because I thought that I had heard wrong.) This is not the place, so let’s give it some time and discretion is the operative word. (Do I really smell a plan or is Helena that stupid?? - I want to believe that there is something going on that we don’t know about) Pluti can’t believe his ears and he is ready to jump for joy- Cachito!- bleeck!
Rebeca arrives to the funeral after its over (for the best supporting actress performance) and she asks Ferni and Santi for Pluti. She just missed him.
Marsela is looking so sad; it’s been a sad few days at work. A strange number calls her cell. A gentleman that she met at the convention calls, what does he want?? She smiles.
Modesto reads Adriano’s will and Pluti really looks like Sylvester when he swallowed Tweety bird. Where is the old lady to slap Tweety out of his mouth?? The stipulation of the will is that Adriano will leave his fortune to a member of his family and the will does not specifically name anyone, so Pluti assumes that it’s him. Since Eva was a farce and there was no baby, it’s him. He is inheriting the Reyes family fortune and after he signs the paperwork he will no longer need Modesto’s services. Modesto said- that the truth will shine sooner or later. Pluti is wearing a shiny suit, shirt and tie. Yuck!!!
Pluti is sparing Renato and he will give him another chance. If he fails him he will be a nobody. He wants Renato to set up a meeting with the Tourism Commission and Renato gives him a look as if to say, I have your nobody- jerk!!!
Rebeca walks in her “Queen of the Jungle” outfit and acts as if she is in charge. (When will her anvil drop, I was hoping that it would have been tonight) She orders everyone back to work, but she thought that she doesn’t work here says one of the blue dresses. Rebeca corrects her and says that if they want their jobs get back to work and that she and Pluti, it will be a dictatorship.
Renato is whispering in the hallway to Loose Lips Lucia and Santi, that Pluti can’t get wind of the fact that Mimi is expecting his child, Rebeca is listening- where is security, she should never been allowed to re-enter the building- oh right this is a telenovela. Santi says that maybe Mimi can go far away until she gives birth. Of course Rebeca hears that. - until the baby is born.
Pluti has an employee meeting and let’s everyone know that due to the sad circumstances that have taken place, he is the absolute owner of Grupo Imperio. There will be BIG changes, and Marsela asks will there still be a Department of Convention Tourism. Pluti will evaluate the need. As for Playa Mayagua, it will move forward but he will make some changes and evaluate the collaboration with Fitsa because it was a big misunderstanding. (I’m still thinking that something is fishy- particularly by the expression on Marsela’s face) Pluti asks Renato to set up a meeting for the first thing tomorrow with tourism commission and the companies involved with Playa Mayagua. Project. They will meet the new President and the project can move forward. Helena asked if she should attend and Pluti told her that she wasn’t needed only the leadership of Grupo Imperio. (I’m still watching Marsela) He summoned everyone back to work and then fired Santi. (Dag- just when he was getting back on his feet financially)
Pluti is on Helena’s office asking her for forgiveness at his cold attitude at the employee meeting but he wants to keep up the appearance that there is nothing between the two of them. (Okay, Helena that crap Helena, I am ready to give him the left slap) Helena is so affected by what has happened that she doesn’t have the strength to confront anything right now. She feels so lonely; she needs someone’s support. Pluti tries to kiss her and Helena stops him because Lucia could enter at any time and we have to take this step by step. He can’t wait to marry hr and take her out of the country and begin a new life, he will have fulfilled one of his biggest dreams. Helena asks about going out of the country- oh yes says Pluti- away from Juan Carlos, Adriano and Antonia. We will together, alone, you and I. (I am seriously creeped out by all of this) Lucia interrupts and Pluti tells her that she needs to knock before entering. Helena looks ill. Lucia needs clarity as to what is going on between Helena and Pluti.
Rebeca is waiting in Pluti’s office, she’s been waiting for him and Pluti tells her that she is forbidden to enter his office whenever she feels like- so I’m right, there is no security at Grupo Imperio. She wants to pt an announcement of the wedding in the newspaper but firs she wants to procreate. She lets him know that Mimi is pregnant with Adriano’s baby.
Helena and Lucia are talking in her office and Helena can’t proceed alone, she needs a good, stable man to help and support her and she thinks its Pluti. Pleeeeeeease!!!! (Once again, I had to rewind) She will start a new life far away to remove the bad memories. Lucia like all of Viewerville doesn’t get it. Lucia gets it that Helena has suffered but she will support her as her friend. Helena feels nauseous. Bingo- Lucia- knows that Helena is pregnant.
Fernando is serving the kids dinner and is trying to influence the kids to convince Marsela that they shouldn’t divorce. Marsela has received a great job offer in Miami and she wants to speed up the divorce and take the kids.
Santi meets Lucia at a food stand and he is more worried about Juan Carlos than himself. He is going to see JC tomorrow. Santi asks what’s up with Helena and Pluti and Lucia says that Helena is sad, crying and crying and she will marry Pluti and her loose lips slip that Helena is expecting Juan Carlos’ child.
Marsela feels that the move would be for the kids especially Jennifer will benefit because she can distance herself from the Daniel scandal. Fernando goes on his usual macho soapbox saying that she only thinks about her career and being as professional. Ferni is singing the same old song. Ferni’s begging for another chance. He is going to find a way to show her that he can change.
Mad Dad is worried about Helena, she was devastated but she went to work he asks Silvia what’s up? Silvia doesn’t want to indulge what Helena told her in confidence and Mad Dad plays the “that’s my daughter too card”. She needs her parent’s support.
Rebeca catty as usual and continues to insult Renato, this time saying what a pair you and your brother pair. You’re gay and he dresses like a woman He shuts her up by saying that his intuition tells him that she and Pluti had something but did she hear about the rumor that Pluti is getting back with Helena at all costs. Pluti didn’t invite you to the breakfast meeting with the tourism people? Beeeach!!!! From the look on her face- her anvil is on its way!
Marsela tells Helena that there is nothing to save in her marriage and that she loves Fernando but she will move forward. Mad Dad comes to see Helena at her office. What a surprise!!! He wants to know why her friend is crying. Helena explains that Marsela is a phenomenal woman with a macho man who is irresponsible, doesn’t respect or support her. Sound familiar, Mad Dad??? Mad Dad shocks us all and tells Helena that he will support her and her baby, and please don’t be mad at Silvia for telling the secret but her parents are there for her. Helena, like all of us is impactada!!!
Fernando arrives at Kevin’s music class and melancholically watches his son play the harp. Fernando realizes that he is missing out on something very important.
In the reception area, Mad Dad approaches Marsela and tells she that he knows that she is separated from her husband and would she mind tasking a little advice. The blue dress is considerate enough to step away from her desk. And allow them to speak privately. From what his daughter has told him he committed some of the same mistakes as her husband. He was married for more than 30 years to a good woman who like million of men took her for granted because he was a macho man. But he learned that it takes strong will to lose the machismo, it’s hard. No one teaches us how to be good husbands. - Amen!!!!
Fernando now takes his foot out of his mouth and tells Kevin that he was mistaken, has said a lot of stupid things, didn’t know when to shut up and that he should dedicate himself to do what he loves because it will make him happy.
Mad Dad intention was not to advise her to go back to her husband as if nothing happened but communication, tolerance, patience and love with help a couple. Sometimes one can change to be a better person but for him it was too late. Marsela was thankful. Machismo hurts women and it also destroys men too. Marsela has food for thought.
Eugenia has another function to perform at and it looks like Claudia is her secretary. Her monologue was a success! Claudia is so sorry for sending Eugenia on that false casting trip and she is not sure if she apologized enough. Eugenia said to leave it in the past and focus on the present.
Oneismo tells Pluti that Mimi’s baby hasn’t hurt anyone. Pluti has worked too hard to lose everything now. Some ominous looking men kidnap Mimi.
Pluti is at a board meeting as the new President and he is honored to be in the presence of the dignitaries of the tourism world and Rebeca interrupts the meeting, just in to see the presentation in honor of Adriano and Antonia the pillars of the company, what the company was and what it will always be. Renato plays the video of Pluti and Rebeca. Pluti is telling Rebeca about Antonia’s health and how they have to be abstinent, and they do the deed. Yesssss!!!! Viewerville is cheering!!!! Anvils are dropping in the boardroom.
Lucia tells Helena that Pluti is not what he seems. Pluti and Rebeca are lovers. A forlorn Helena says that there is no proof against Pluti. Men are unfaithful (Que the heck!!!) and she dismisses what Lucia is trying to tell her.
Santi visits Juan Carlos in jail and tells him that Helena returned to Pluti, they will marry soon AND she is having your baby.

Adriana overhears this and is so outraged at the insult to
her sister, that she runs at Paula, they scuffle, and Arriaga has to pull them apart. Paula runs away. But not before she draws
blood by taunting Adriana: she KNOWS what happened to her daughter and now
she'll never tell.
[Actually Adriana knows as much as Paula at this point. Only the Patio gang and Opalina know about
the call of blood, the transmigration of souls -- you know, all the good stuff
that leads to Lili Luci.]
