Amor Bravío #69 (Uni 64) Thu 11/22/12 Amor con pavo y calabaza
Osvaldo brings Amanda a blanket, since she's hanging out at the hospital keeping an eye on D'Andres. Awww, you shouldn't have…. Osvalso points out that she's so busy taking care of everyone else, so she ought to let herself be taken care of sometimes. He also brought her some of her own coffee so she won't be subjected to the swill from the vending machine.
Luzma comes home, happily telling everyone she got to see Pablo. Piedad comes in and shushes everyone, cause Dio's in a mood. She asks Luzma to serve the ranch hands while she takes care of Mr. Crankypants. Piedad talks about wanting to go look into what happened to Julian and Luzma announces she's marrying Pablo for realz this time. Everyone cheers…and gets shushed.
Camila goes back to her cabin, accompanied by the sound of cattle. She says it's the calves moaning because they're being separated from their mothers. She knows how they feel. I suppose she means because it's her first night without D'Andres in a while.

Amores Verdaderos #11 Thu 11/22/12 Vengeance, depression and a piano
* Nelson and Kendra stay alone in his office and they have a drink. OF COURSE, Kendra doesn’t drink alcohol but this is a special occasion, so she can make an exception. While Nelson is handling the bottle and the glasses, she gets rid of her jacket and pulls her best seductive I-am-a-decent-but-desireable-little-flower look.

Refugio Para el Amor #159 Thu 11/22/12 La Petición (Pedida) de Mano
In which Oscar finally gets to the bottom of it; and the Jacinto family is formally welcomed into the Torreslanda mansion.
Oscar arrives in Max’s office but before Max can start to discuss the urgent work, Oscar announces they need to talk. Oscar remains standing, he barely holds back a sneer. “Do you know that I found Pedro Campos?” Max can’t believe it. Oscar asks Max: “Isn’t this great news? Don’t you want to know who the criminal is who set up Claudio Linares?” Max is speechless. “What’s the matter? Aren’t you interested?” Oscar taunts. Oscar lets Max know he’s been looking for Pedro Campos all these years. He tells Max that it turns out Campos is good friends with Vicki. “Don’t you think it’s important to resolve this issue, buddy?” Max asks if Oscar has already talked to Campos. Max wants to be the one to talk to him. He’ll demand the truth from Pedro Campos! “Of course,” Oscar says with disgust. He suggests Max ask Vicki how to get in touch with Campos. He knows Max is still cheating on RE with Vicki. Max leaps up all huffy - “that is none of your business!” Oscar just sneers and walks out. OK, Max is looking pretty worried now.
Rod is in Luci’s office with Pato. He has just handed Luci his impressive report card - wait, no that was his divorce papers. Rod announces that he and Gala are now divorced. [Dude, you already texted her that news.] Pato wonders how he feels. Rod feels as if great weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Both Luciana and Pato appear very uncomfortable. Rod wants to know how Luci feels. Luciana doesn’t appear to appreciate this particular trophy - it’s really none of her concern. She sincerely hopes Alexia will be OK. Rod stands there clearly frustrated that no one has jumped for joy, or at least patted him on the head and told him “good boy”. He clearly expected a different reception, not the resounding silence and averted eyes. He says he knows this subject is uncomfortable for Luci, but it was important to him that she know. Luci tries to hand back the papers, but Rod insists on finishing what he has to come to say. He declares his undying love for Luci while Pato winces in pain. Luci tells Rod that sometimes love is not enough, and besides, the only love she has left is the love she feels for her missing son. Rod angrily argues that it’s THEIR son and he promises to find him for her. Pato tries to leave but Luci stops him. So Rod, finally getting the hint, takes the folder and leaves. Pato tells Luci that with him she doesn’t need to hide the happiness this news must bring her. “Well, yes” Luci replies, and then gets back to the child search reports as that’s the only thing that will make her happy. But as she looks away Luciana does smile. She can’t help herself - she is pleased, after all. Pato notices.

Amores Verdaderos #10 Wed 11/21/12 One Hawt Guy To The Rescue; Kendra Goes Behind Salsero's Back
We have a hawt guy to the rescue tonight, another hawt guy that is totally devestated, Kendra moves forward with her own mis planes and Paula burns something and then is burned up by something else! For further details read on.
We start this epi with the Arriaga's at home and Christi is gonna fix something for them to eat. There is some wrestling with Lili and ouchies from our Angel.
Paula is meeting with her P.I. and gets the scoop on Candelaria. She has been working as a nurse in Alamos, Sonora affiliated with the church, evidently. So the investigation is concluded and Paula pays the P.I. He is very happy. Now towards the back, in waltzes Felipe the husband of Paula (don't think they are divorced) and he spys her sitting at this table with the P.I. he ducks around the corner when she calls for the check, so he isn't seen by her. Felipe thinks this guy is her amante. The P.I. gives a bunch of pics in an envelope to Paula that he took, during his investigation, he also mentions Adriana Balvanera, Vikki's sister, he has included something on her, in this packet and also pics of Christi and Lili. There is a newspaper with an article about Adriana Entitled: La Mexican is a hit in Paris. Paula peruses the paper.

Refugio Para el Amor #158 Wed 11/21/12 In which Cellphones, Particularly Text Messages, Play a Major Role, and Poor Oscar is NOT a Happy Camper
Violetta has come all the way to San Francisco de Alta to make peace with her father. He’s on his sick bed, down in the dumps, and at this point he doesn’t expect anything from his daughter. She does care about him, she assures him, and she wants bygones to be bygones. She wants Dad to take care of himself. Don Aquiles is very ashamed for having ever denied he was her father. Procopio makes himself scarce so that the two can have a long heart-to-heart. Violetta sits on Dad’s bed and wants to know how he’s been. Don Aquiles doesn’t care - his heart is well now because Violetta is there with him. He’s started writing his memoirs! Don Aquiles is delighted to hear how Violetta’s business is growing and agrees about the wisdom buying an inexpensive place to live for now. Aquiles talks about how bit by bit he saved and invested. The two clearly see eye-to-eye in terms of business and investment strategies.
Max is surprised to see Rosalena who has come to his office. She’s actually come to speak to Jana and tell her that even though she doesn’t agree with her relationship with “este muchacho” she’ll not stand in the way and will support her. Max is glad to hear it. He thinks it’s a wise strategy. Maybe Jana will lose interest in the boy once she no longer sees him as “forbidden”. Rosalena lets Max know she’s giving in for him. She wants to show everyone she’s doing her part to recover their family harmony. “Is that why you stopped your therapy sessions with Dr. Hauser?” challenges Max. Rosalena is shocked: “How do you know?” Max doesn’t want her to quit her treatment. Rosalena claims she’s fine now, she doesn’t need that therapy any longer. [Uh oh]

Amores Verdaderos #9 Tue 11/20/12 Feverish and frustrated
Okay, again I'm going to try to "precap" by watching a downloaded copy of this episode. I'll be relying mostly on Spanish listening skills (with a little correcting as I watch the show w/ CCs). And you know what that means—lots of errors! Will correct and edit as I go along. HD screencaps coming later too.
Non-HD preview: Temptation between Big Angel and Vicki. |
Another non-HD preview: Guzmancito is mortified when Nicki decks him out with her frilly, girly things as they pack for a trip. |
NOTE: Some scenes and parts will be listed out of order, for better continuity (for me) and to help preserve my tenuous grasp on sanity.
Big Angel is all feverish and ill. Probably not completely aware of where he is and what's going on. He begs Vicki to not leave. She's torn. They do this whole schtick where he almost kisses her, they hover near each other then back off. Big Angel is probably hallucinating. He wants to be near Vicki (or whomever he thinks she is). Feeling very awkward about this (but at the same time drawn to our Big Angel), Vicki reminds him that she's not his wife. He keeps reaching for her, begging her not to leave. She wisely has backed away from his bed by the time Christina, his wife, rushes back in, after leaving to get a doctor.

Refugio Para el Amor #157 Tue 11/20/12 Valgame Dios-it’s taco time; El Taquero Ese y La Princesita are ready to take the next step; Rod and Luci can’t just yet
El Refrito
Aldo has sought out Vicky for a date and won’t take no for an answer.
Luci is packing up to go home and Rod comes in to see her.
Partial Refrito
The Casota Grande de Dios – Patricio has come to visit the Padre with his heart heavy with unrequited love. Padre is always at his disposal to listen. Pato tells him he’s deeply in love with Luciana. Rod and Gala are getting a divorce so that nothing will stand in their way to be together. He knows Rod and Luci love each other to the exclusion of anyone else, but he’s sure he could make her happy, if only he had an opportunity. He wants them to be happy, so what should he do with this overpowering love he has for her. He would never interfere, so it will have to be a silent love. He also knows that to be able to offer Luciana the best of him, he will need to give her his whole being and his whole body—and there’s the rub. Padre is sure there are lots of worthy, single, young women (and married women and grandmothers, even great-grandmothers and some decent young men) lined up to be at his side and share his life with him whom he could choose from, but, being Honesto, honestly can’t tell him what to do with this great love.
Lo de Hoy
TL Empresa, Luci’s Office – Rod comes to tell Luci about Gala offering the divorce and soon he’ll be free and they can be together. He’s as anxious as a puppy dog waiting for a treat for being good—if he had a tail it would be wagging in unbridled enthusiasm. Luci doesn’t think he’s been that good. It’s not that easy or simple she declares, backing away from him, they’ve been living apart for so many years. Just as things erode into a You Gotta-I Can’t verbal volleyball game, Violeta interrupts for some advice. She’s out of her carwash outfit and is wearing a stunning (but still too tight) short emerald green dress. Luci doesn’t want to discuss the impending divorce and it’s consequences although Violeta only sees happiness ahead for them.
Vio has come to see her about Don Aquiles. She doesn’t know what to do. Lately she’s had feelings of wanting to see him and talk to him. Luci thinks she should go ahead, but Vio doesn’t want him to think she’s just a gold-digging opportunist. Luci doesn’t think he’d see it that way. Wasn’t it Don A who came looking for her? Vio thinks that if she doesn’t follow up, she will have lost an opportunity for them to acknowledge their consanguinity if he passes on. Luci urges her to go see him.
Luci then invites her to dinner and Vio accepts because they still have a lot to talk about—especially what she’s going to do about Rodrigo. Luci says this much, that Gala is a sick woman, so she’d rather stay out of things (quedarse al margen) for now. Sadly, she says, she won’t be able to be happy with him or with anyone until she finds her son. We see Rod passing by in the hallway outside her office and stops to look in, but it’s symbolic; he probably wanted to talk to Luci again and is a little annoyed that Violeta is still there.
Het Het – Procopio wants to know what Don A. wants for lunch. He’s offered the doctor’s diet of healthy vegetables and Don A, gagging at the thought, tells him that’s great for a rabbit, but he wants a big chunk of meat and scrambled eggs. Procopio tries to reason with him, that it’s for his heart, but Don A says his heart is going tu-tú-tu-tú, so it’s fine and he dismisses long-suffering Copio with his usual bravado (blustering, swaggering conduct).
TL Offices, Claudio’s Office – Oscar has finished telling Claudio his suspicions about the fraud and his finding Pedro Campos. Claudio is astonished at the twists and turns life has taken. They agree that Sr. Campos is the only one who can shed any light on the fraud and name the person who paid him to accuse Claudio. Then Claudio recognizes Oscar's position in the hierarchy and being a confidant of Max, how is it that he is coming to Claudio with this information and not his boss. Oscar proudly and a little defensively tells Claudio that, though he’s been Max’s friend for a long time, Max knows where he stands. He’s an ethical attorney and when it comes to justice, his loyalty to the truth is unconditional.
Claudio is still mulling over what Os has been telling him. One thing is for sure, although he’s not interested in seeing Max sent to prison, he is interested in unmasking him before his children, so they know who their father really is. He’s a hypocrite, just like his wife. Os agrees that it will be their children who will suffer the most at the revelation. Claudio thanks him for coming to him with this information, but doesn’t want Os to end up looking like a traitor. Oscar replies that betrayal would be sitting back and saying nothing; it would be betraying himself and his principles. He wouldn’t be able to face himself knowing he pretended nothing had happened. He’s going to tell Max that Claudio has the information and Claudio will be speaking to Pedro Campos. If Max says nothing, it implies he’s in the clear; if Max gets upset, it implies he did have something to do with the scam and he should pay the consequences.
The Pink Recliner in Dr. Hauser’s Office – RE is not particularly happy to be there and it shows. She’s come to sound off on Matilde. She can’t believe that esa sirvienta has more sway in her family than she does. The good doctora reminds her – gently – that this woman has been with the family since RE was a child as her nana. The terminology, nana, servant, employee, makes no difference to Roselena. The fact of the matter is that everyone in the world is against her for having dismissed her. Doc asks her if her decision not to ask her to come back is inflexible. RE turns toward Dr. Hauser.
RE – Have you not been listening to a thing I have been saying? I don’t want this woman in my house because she’s a traitor. And traitors don’t merit clemency (Ok, time to wake up, RE, can’t you see this is yourself you are describing?).
HA – Treachery, Sra.? Or was she just disagreeing with the intransigent way you do things. Those are two very different things.
RE – Dr. Hauser, it’s been a pleasure knowing you, but I don’t plan to step foot in here again—ever.
And out she goes. Dr. Hauser is left to ponder the fate of this woman she’s tried to help for the last five (read that: 5) years! (We know RE is worse than ever, hearing voices of bebés in her house.)
TL Mansion, Front Gate – Lor arrives with a special delivery of Estelita’s best tacos en canasta and a note for Roselena. The new servant takes the basket. (If that had been FrBrigida, she would have thrown him and the basket out.)
Gala’s Office at the El Chisme Magazine – Gala gets a phone call from her financial advisor. She needs to talk to him, but he’s out of town until tomorrow. She’s coming into a whole bunch of moola very soon and needs his financial advice on where to invest it. (Oh, my, do we ever see little green anvils poised over her well-ironed hair-do.)
TL Empresa, Patricio’s Office – Ofelia has furnished Pato with the list of top specialists in spine surgery that Aldo researched and wishes him well on finding the right one. She wonders why he needs one now since his rehab is going so well. He admits that is true, but he can’t walk and that is what he wants most. Rod comes in on the tail end of the conversation, “What is it that you are looking for, I can get it for you?” “To be able to walk,” Pato answers.

Por ella soy Eva #87 11/20/12: More of the Same of Everything
Pluto continues to hammer away about Juan Carlos's fraud. He has hired a money launderer to continue convincing Adri of Juan's villainy. The accomplice says the 3 mil which went into Juan's mother's account is - gone. Pluto pretends astonishment.
Eva: "It can't have disappeared into the air." Adri: "Juan was much more than a thief, he had this all planned, he even involved his mother. The investigation is over, I won't have Eugenia and Modesto bothered, they're my friends and their son was a cretin."
Adri gets so upset he faints. An ambulance is called. He's ok for now, but Eva reminds him his sister died young. He agrees to go see his cardiologist. Pluto wants Adri to retire: "I'll take care of everything." Eva: "No kisses, no anything for you, Adri, it would be bad for your heart. Go home and rest."
There may be a real-life rock star, Erik Rubin, showing up soon.
Mimi goes to visit the convalescing Adri, who is attracted to her but resists temptation.
Mimi and Juan continue to have no ideas about how to proceed.
Adri asks Renato to become his assistant, Renato is thrilled. Adri: "I've always been in complete control but I'm not young any more. Soon I'll marry and I want to enjoy my conjugal life. ... you know, when Juan Carlos was alive, he was like my right hand."
Pluto lunches with his money-laundering accomplice and insists on his silence and discretion: "You should disappear from Mexico for a while -- if Eva gets Adri to reopen the investigation I want you far away. But I'll probably need you for the fake construction company Fixa I'm going to use to defraud Grupo Imperio." Possibly important: Pluto admits to the guy that the money is in his home safe. The friend congratulates Pluto on the death of Antonia: "How lucky that you were widowed so early."
Lucia continues to be an idiot. She gets a compliment from Renato: "It doesn't matter what you wear, you're always cute." He tells her he's gonna be Adri's right-hand man but it's a big secret. Lucia the twit: "I see myself as wife of the vice-president." He gets a text from his mom but won't answer it.
Pluto continues with his evil little projects. Eva continues to talk him down to Helena. Tomorrow they'll sign with his fake construction company Fixa which is going to destroy the Playa Majagua project and put more money in Pluto's safe.
The fake thesis Pluto bought has convinced Helena that neither he nor Antonia stole any ideas from her. Eva wants to read it but Helena says Pluto gets first dibs.
Santi and Fer continue to do no work and gossip a lot.
Eugnia tells her husband she's going back to acting. He doesn't think she's ready: she should cancel her plans and they should talk... "later."
Eva goes to find Raul Mendozo (I think that was the money launderer) but the secretary says: "He's on a long vacation, I don't know where."
Fer continues to be an idiot.
Rebeca calls Renata "Cinderella" and insults him. He asks why she's humiliating him. She says, "because you came from a low-class neighborhood." "So did you" "Well, I didn't choose where to be burn, but I am like an aristocrat now." He leers: "You want me." "I doubt you're the man you pretend to be." "I'll prove it to you." She tells Adri that Renato is gay. Adri is astonished.

Amores Verdaderos #8 Mon 11/19/12 As if we didn’t have enough triangles already
* Winter garden. Lili explains to Guzmáncito that she isn’t an intruder but Arriaga’s daughter, and she only sneaked into the flower room because she’s really, really into plants. I mean, really. At first Francisco is immune to her Disney charm and he coldly reminds her of the fact that she isn’t allowed to wander around the house without permission. Liliana gets frightened at his strict tone and she apologizes, and her reaction is so over the top that Blondie can’t help but bursts into laugh. They shake hands.
* Kitchen. Sweetheart Angel feels with Victoria who’s at the verge of a nervous breakdown: Liliana is his greatest treasure and he doesn’t know what he would do if something happened to her. And he even understands her struggles with Nikki (who has a very difficult personality) and her husband (who’s a negligent and lousy father). Vic is overflowed with feelings, she’s glad that she can talk about these things with the big guy but in the meantime she feels ashamed that she threw her problems onto him. And she used to think she was strong but now she can’t take anymore. Vic grabs his hand and it looks they are about to hug each other, and OF COURSE this is the very moment when Cristina enters the room. Qué the hell is happening here?
* Nikki has a video chat with the brunette friend of hers. (I wish my phone was able to produce such a great quality. *cough*) In the evening there will be a party, Nicole should go and bring her hot bodyguard along. Oh, don’t even get her started with Guzmán! She’s fed up with him and with her mother who thinks she’s an infant who needs a babysitter. But okay, she’ll try to escape from the gorilla and join the party later.
* Victoria, who’s still sobbing, tells Cristina that all José Ángel did was giving her comfort because she had an awful day. She thanks Arriaga and says goodbye to them. Ay, that poor woman, says Angel who’s totally oblivious to the green flames of jealousy in Cristina’s eyes that have been firing at him since the beginning of the scene. And the hell breaks loose. Cristina is sure that Victoria wants more from her husband than his bodyguard services and she won’t stay in her house for a minute longer! José Ángel gets pissed off, too, so he grabs her elbow and tells her there’s nothing between him and Ms. Balvanera… and now they should go to sleep. After they leave, it turns out Polita and Jean Marie were hiding in the corner and they heard the shouts. This means soon the whole household will know what happened that evening.
* In the bedroom Nelson works on his computer, it turns out he asked Kendra to do the yoghurt commercial. Kendra. And yoghurt. Vic doesn’t like the idea and she doubts that Barbie’s image would be right for the commercial. Did Aníbal approve this decision? Nelson is too much in love with his own genius and he thinks the company should follow a more innovative path.
* At Kendra’s flat. Barbie and Salsero talk about their masterplan, again. Kendra mentions she could easily convince Nelson to leave his wife for her, but Dances With Sunglasses isn’t fond of the idea. Okay honey, says Kendra, as you wish. But make sure Arriaga doesn’t return to his lil’ house on the pampas… because if he does, things will be done her way. Sometimes I can’t decide who’s the bigger alpha male between these two.
* Arriaga looks for his daughter in the garden. He’s in quite a bad shape, he seems to have a constant ache in the chest. Lili’s still in the flower room/winter garden and she does her best to turn the enchanted Guzmáncito into a Disney cartoon character. Oh dear, now they’re sniffing a pink flower. Arriaga shows up at the door and interrupts the magical moment just a second before a dimension portal opened to the World of My Little Pony. Daddy doesn’t like what he sees, so he pulls a bitchface, sends Lili to bed and Guzmán tomorrow he’ll return to his house. This means they probably won’t meet again, however, if Francisco ever decides to visit the Arriagas he’ll be welcome. The hawt guys hug each other. *Women in Viewerville: awwww, bromance!*
* Later in the house Dances With Sunglasses tells José Ángel he should reconsider his resignation because Ms. Victoria trusts him deeply and no one else who could protect her better. Sorry, says Arriaga, it was a really a hard decision for Arriaga, but he has to put his family first.
* In the kitchen Jean Marie and Polita talk about the fight Cristina and José Ángel had last night. Actually, Polita think Cristina caught her husband and Victoria doing the deed on the table. Tomasina comes into the room with Guzmán. She’s very worried for Victoria so Blondie promises her to find a new trustworthy bodyguard.
* In the Arriagas’ bedroom Lili asks José Ángel about Francisco and she can’t stop gushing about his gorgeous smile. But don’t worry, dad, your smile is beautiful, too. *Viewerville: all right, Liliana, everything is forgiven for now*
* Nelson can’t understand why Victoria is so sad about Arriaga’s resignation. Don’t worry, tomorrow he’ll find her a more experienced bodyguard. Victoria cuddles up to her husband and whispers that after a hard day like that she needs some affection. But our Casanova suddenly turns into a prudent little virgin and tells her they should sleep instead.
* Nikki spent the whole episode with taking a shower and dressing up like the newest disco Barbie and now she’s ready to leave. She climbs down on a rope from her balcony… and arrives right into the arms of the ever vigilant Francisco. *Viewerville: LOL* Guzmán won’t let her leave and he threatens her with waking Victoria up. Nikki has no choice but to go back to her room… and Francisco follows her because he wants to make sure she won’t escape again. In her room he laughs at the good old “pillows under blanket” trick and mocks Nikki for her lack of imagination. Oh dear, Guzmáncito is slowly turning into an adorably insolent modern Petruchio. Best scene of the episode, hands down. Finally she manages to kick him out of the room… and here comes the ugly part. Nikki can’t deal with the stress of this situation so first she quickly eats a box of chocolate, then she cries in a fetal position.
* Next morning. While Dances With Sunglasses is waiting for his jefe, he’s fuming about his bad luck: dammit, that dumb Arriaga ruined all his plans and now Guzmán will bring a new bodyguard!
* Victoria tells Tomasina that Nelson promised her a surprise. But since Narcissus isn’t that giving person unless his wife has a birthday, Victoria suspects it has something to do with the company. And she doesn’t like it at all. She worked her ass off to convince her father to give her the position of creative director, and won’t step aside to please her husband. And on top of it all, now he has to deal with the new bodyguard. She sighs and thinks about how much she’ll miss Arriaga.
*Guzmáncito and Liliana meet in the hallway. Disney Girl informs Blondie that Cristina went to buy something, the Angel is still knocked out by the medicines the doctor gave him and Lili couldn’t take a shower because the water in their bathroom is blocked. Francisco offers her to use the bodyguards’ bathroom.
* Tomasina comes into Nikki’s room to pick up her laundry and she finds the remnants of the evening: the mess, the trash and the empty box of chocolate. She tells the sleepy and yawning girl she understands that Nikki is a very impulsive and reckless kid but she should be more careful of what she does. What are you talking about, asks Nikki. I’m talking about what you did last night! Oops. Nikki has no idea that Tomasina is talking about the chocolate and the mess she made, so she immediately jumps to the conclusion Guzmán spilled the beans about her escape. That idiot! She runs out of the room screaming that he will pay for *that*… Leaving a very dumbfounded Tomasina behind. “What idiot?”
* The shrew runs into Francisco’s room looking for a fight… only to find the freshly showered Liliana there. What. Happened. Here? Oh Guzmáncito, you’re in the deepest trouble because you are forbidden to bring your lovers into this house. Thank you, gorilla, you put the rope around your own neck! You’re fired!
* Cristina arrives back from the shop and finds an unconscious, fevered, trembling Angel in the bed. She runs to the dining room where Tomasina tells Victoria about the fight Arriaga and his wife had last night because of her. Oh no, that cannot be possible! Victoria looks very uncomfortable and she becomes even more upset when Cristina shows up screaming and begging for help for her half-dead husband.
* Nikki enjoys the situation immensely. She’s about to go and tell her mom what happened when Guzmán tells her that this half-naked girl isn’t his girlfriend and she was brought into the house by Arriaga, her father.
* Tomasina and Cristina leave for the doctor and Victoria stays behind to look after sick man. Arriaga wakes up for a second and before he falls back into unconsciousness he desperately begs her not to leave.

Por ella soy Eva #86 11/19/12
Another pep-talk for Juan (from Mimi, of ). She advises him to buck up, "squeeze 'em." He's not convinced.
Out to eat, Pluti has a surprise for Helena. He's brought in the best wedding planner in the city! We get some really scary music. He's raring to go, but when the planner starts talking locations, Helena finally nuts up enough to say it's too early to talk about such things.
Drunk chumps at a bar toasting a "lost brother."
Angelica has no interest in studying or working - she just wants to hang out. She's not gonna want kids, either... "can you imagine this amazing body getting fat carrying around some chump's baby?"
Rebeca is a barrel of monkeys in her outrageous leopard-print jammies, turning Onesimo into a worthlessly quivering lump of goo.
Fernie has been shopping - Marcela doesn't look pleased. Tools of domesticity! Then he has the nerve to ssay "enjoy your gifts!" Hey honey, here's an iron and washing machine. Have fun!
Angela looks like she might have accidentally gotten a sexy modeling job. she's okay with that!
Hehe, Juan bids Adri goodnight by phone as Eva, but refuses to send him kisses. Regardless, Adri is cute and hopeless!
Juan and Mimi are pretty darn cute sharing some product-placement-snacks. He has the idea that maybe he can clear his name, even if he can't get Helena.
Helena lets her mom know that she's really not ready to get married. Fair enough. But her outfit doesn't get a pass.
I am still confused about why Mousse boy wears a scarf. It can't be that drafty in Mexico this time of year! Also, how did he get o the board? I hate this scene where they pick Plutarco's company "Fitza."

Luciana has finally formally met her mini-me Mateo, who has woken from his hospital bed slumber as perky as ever. He exchanges hugs and kisses with Luci while Rod looks on with a smile. All of this call of the blood bonding seems to make Doña Chuy and Don Chelo nervous. They try to hustle Mateo out of the hospital as quickly as possible, but the little guy wants his buddy Rod to help him get dressed. No girls allowed!

Vivi's synopsis of the plot of Corona de Lagrimas (Crown of Tears)
When Refugio (Victoria Ruffo) and her three sons, Patricio, Edmundo and Ignacio are thrown out of their home, by a twist of fate they come to Mexico City, where they begin a new life.
Eighteen years later, and have settled in a small apartment in popular area. She has a modest job, and has serious vision problems, but no health care to meet the needs of her children. Patricio studied Law and dreams of a comfortable and prosperous future; Edmundo is studying medicine and is a brilliant student but undisciplined; and Ignacio could only finish high school because he works in a mechanic’s shop, helping his mother to pay for household expenses and the studies of his brothers.
Patricio is the boyfriend of Lucero, daughter Julieta, who lodged with the family when they came to town. But soon after, he rejects Lucero when he meets Olga, a girl whose fickle fortune dazzles him, leading him to be ashamed of his family and to lie about his origins, going so far as to deny his mother. Olga begins to doubt Patricio’s lies. Exposed, he lies again saying that Refugio was his nanny, has a mental illness and he takes care of her. Olga admires his charity. Later, Edmundo begins to woo Lucero, inadvertently hurting Ignacio, who secretly loves her.
Olga asks her father, the lawyer Romulo Ancira, to hire Patricio in his law firm. As her father is fed up with the vagaries of his daughter, he agrees and soon they announce their engagement. Following their wedding, Patricio pulls completely away from his mother and his brothers. When Refugio tries to approach Olga to try to regain the love of her son, she receives only humiliation. This creates disagreements between Patricio and his brothers Edmundo and Ignacio. Then Patricio learns that his father is not the same as his brothers’, accuses his mother of cheating, and demands she not approach him.
Consequently, Refugio falls into a severe depression that leads her to losing her job and aggravates her loss of sight. Neither Edmundo nor Ignacio seem able to comfort her, but strive to get ahead-- Edmundo first by looking for easy money through illegal business, and Ignacio, by borrowing and falling into debt. Edmundo is lands in jail, and the situation worsens when Ignacio goes to ask Patricio to legally defend Edmundo and he refuses.
The married life of Patricio and Olga is a mess. She is such a jealous wife that she uses emotional blackmail on Patricio, even attempting suicide. Patricio’s world of luxury and comfort crumbles.
When the man who ruined the lives of Refugio and her children comes back in their lives, by chance, Patricio learns the truth about his origins and the efforts of his mother despite adversity. The pain of his own failures, defeats the arrogance of Patricio. He begs the pardon of Refugio and agrees to defend his brother, after which family harmony is recovered.
