Elenco and Short Sinopsis

A new series is premiering 9/30/19 from a partnership between Televisa and Univision and it promises quite alot! El Dragón, was created by Arturo Pérez Reverte, the same mind who conceived La Reina del Sur 6 -7 years ago.

The new telenovela tells the story of the heir of a powerful family of Mexican drug lords out of Sinaloa, whose parents were assasinated in Mexico in a settling of accounts amongst criminals. His grandfather, fearing his grandson and heir is in danger of the same fate, sends him to live in Japan, where he becomes a high-ranking expert in international finance. Later he will have to return to Mexico in order to fulfill the obligations of his family.

A new 13-episode telenovela, El Secreto de Selena, starring Maya Zapata, is scheduled to begin this Sunday, August 25, in the 10-11 pm time slot. Here is Wikipedia's description: "Selena Quintanilla was a successful singer who had a tragic end when she was killed by Yolanda Saldívar, president of her fan club and personal friend. Welcome to page 2 of Primetime TNs/Series which are not being covered by recappers. Highlights, summaries, or details of scenes/episodes are encouraged (this would be a good time to practice your skills in recapping :-). As of now, Diana and I are providing mini-caps for LRSY, but if some brave soul(s) would like to contribute some highlights or a mini-recap for LRSY, AE, JECNSE or SMALV, I’m sure it would be appreciated. You can also add to or clarify scenes/details, especially those that are favs or not-so-favs. TNs/series covered by this page are:

Welcome to Page #1 (Monday edition) of the Telemundo y Más page, issued twice a week: Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM.

Here are the current evening telenovelas (all times are Eastern Daylight Time):

8-9PM - Un Poquito Tuyo*
9-10PM - Betty en NY**
9-10PM - El Final del Paraíso***
10-11PM - Preso No. 1

* Un Poquito Tuyo will be aired at 8 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then it's over. ** Betty en NY will air at 9:00 on Monday, but the gran final will be at 8:00 on Tuesday, August 12.
*** El Final del Paraíso will be seen at 9:00 PM starting this Tuesday, August 13.

Preso No. 1 continues to show Carmelo Alvarado both in his youth and as a President of Mexico accused and imprisoned unjustly.
